Summary:
This place is pretty good for groups. We had a reservation for 7:15 for 6 people on a Saturday night. Honestly, it wasn’t too crowded and it actually wasn’t too noisy either. I think everything we got was pretty good and admittedly did have a great flavor profile. I think their menu could use an update and maybe the overall presentations of the dishes. It was all really good, but you almost have to bite into before you realize it. At first glance, it doesn’t look like anything special even though it actually is good. I think the clash of Mexican and Korean was successful, but they could decorate the finishings and menu to compliment their food. I think I’d be back, since the food isn’t bad and it’s convenient atmosphere. At this point, I don’t know that I’d recommend it yet for friends to try

I finally had a chance to go check out SZN and really fell in love with the vibe. The music was great, the cocktails are delicious and the food is tasty. I’d recommend getting the wings and the tacos.
Come here for a first date and hang at the bar. I couldn’t get enough of the drinks. Very good! This spot is great for work happy hours and right before games at the arena up the street. All in all they knocked it out of the park with this new restaurant. Keep it on your Seattle food rotation.

Loved the vibe here and the decor. They were short staff and our waitress was serving the whole area. She was great. Drinks were good. Food was good too except some dishes were a little salty.

The food was great, but the staff were incredible. Cesar waited on me and was so kind, personable, and attentive. We shared stories and he took my mind off my upcoming doctor's appointment at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. He should really be recognized for his excellent service and kindness to patrons.

We had a team happy hour here and it was an amazing experience. The decor is nice and food is delicious. The crunchy tofu bites were bomb. The drinks were really awesome. And staff was helpful even though they were short staffed.

Passed by this place countless times thinking it was just a bar. Front door was open around 5pm and sparked my curiosity; relatively large, open loft-like space for dining and drinks; serving Asian/Mexican cuisine, unusual fusion but glad I came; only tried Korean BiBimBap: legit Korean flavor, quality ingredients, well marinated bulgogi, tasty gochujang, generous portion, only $12; will return again for japchae, bulgogi poutine, nachos, other Mexican offerings; cocktails got good reviews; friendly attentive staff, clean, modern interior, limited paid street parking, open late; support your local small businesses & restaurants 👍

Very tasty. Got the kimchi Mac n cheese and spicy beef burrito. Burrito was very moist and flavorful. Kimchi Mac and cheese was very tasty but not gooey like traditional Mac n cheese. Service was a little slow to start but once it started was great.

Have to say I was very impressed not only by the different choice of food but the amazing flavor of each dish that i ordered. Had double crunch wings, kimchi Mac n’ cheese and the bulgogi fries. I will definitely come back to try the other dishes and try to make it on time for happy hour!

Really good! I would def recommend the fried chicken.
I'm a little sad that I didn't see the Mexican influence as much. To me, a lot of the food kinda seemed more akin to Korean food with Mex toppings.
I tried the kimchi mac n cheese but it was a little bland. Fun atmosphere tho!

Such delicious food and staff that was very knowledgeable about celiacs and GF options. I loved the house spicy marg with that pineapple juice in it. Damn good.

Added update: Our 2nd visit to SZN was just as awesome as the first! I tried to order something different but was still craving the Bulgolgi fries from the first visit and had to have more. The seasonal cocktails were fantastic!
My husband and I had a fantastic visit to SZN! I ordered the Bulgolgi fries platter (not having had Bulgolgi before) and it was awesome! I was very pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered the pork bowl and was equally happy with his choice. I ended up having a few drinks with dinner because there were so many tasty choices that I couldn’t decide on just one! The staff were super friendly, attentive, and professional and the ambiance was great! I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu items and cocktail specials! Thumbs up from this happy diner!

Cozy and yet open atmosphere, friendly service and great food!!! This is my second time so I tried their crunchy chicken and brussel sprouts, omg! Sooooo good!. When many restaurants are serving tasteless food, the perfect mix of the flavors and the seasoning of brussel sprouts was so taste buds pleasing. I got both flavors mix chicken and both were equally tasty. Big portion makes it perfect for sharing so everyone get to try a little of many. I'm coming back again for sure.

Came in here during Happy Hour, which is Tuesday - Friday from 4-6pm. We got the Bulgogi Fries Platter ($11) and Crunchy Wings ($10). The fries were really filling. The orange sauce glazed on it reminded me of In N Out spread. Loved the onions in the fries. The Crunchy Wings were crispy and seasoned well. Highly recommend stopping by here if you're near the Space Needle!

The food was amazing. The atmosphere is very laid back and vibrant. Definitely try the Kimchi ramen and wings definitely hit the spot. The bar is nice as well, good selection of local beers on tap. Location is easy to find and parking is not bad for it being street parking.

We've been 3 times now and the food is amazing, the drinks are good, the service has been wonderful. My spouse really likes their Sakura 51 cocktail. A lot of their food is on the spicier side, but that's accompanied with some amazing flavor. Their marinated steak and their bulgogi beef are some of the best I've ever had.

We ate at the bar, and everything was amazing! Amy, the bartender, was so kind and helpful and made the best drinks! Seriously, it's been awhile since I've had a drink this good in a long time.

Love this place! Very fun vibes and open pretty late for Seattle. Great food for reasonable prices. Also have a great cocktail selection!

We had a reservation for 4 people at 5:30 pm on Saturday, but had to wait until 6 pm before we were seated. The food itself is alright, but didn't seem very authentic. For the same price, you can get better food elsewhere. The cocktails are pretty expensive as well ($15-18), although I can't comment on how they taste, as only the others at our table had them.
The one saving grace might be that the Korean fried chicken was pretty good.

I was able to go with some friends and I have to say this might be my very favorite restaurant in Seattle. Asian-Mexican makes for an interesting and fun menu. Their wings (two flavors) are perfectly crispy, but not dry at all on the inside—pretty healthily sized as well. Drink menu is creative and not a single person in our group ordered a drink they did not like. Lastly, the space is spectacular and they’ve managed to create a brand that’s well thought out. I highly recommend.

The food and service here is great! It’s owned by two brilliant and hardworking people who are always there to make sure your experience was top notch. I highly recommend to anywhere in the QA area. (Make sure you get the chicken wings)

Good vibes and atmosphere for happy hour. Serviceable drinks and get the bulgogi fries to share.
Molly Gunther
Amazing cocktails and AMAZING FOOD! The staff is friendly and attentive. 10/10 would come here again!

While it’s somewhat noisy during Kraken games, the food and service make up for it. Parking may be a problem.

The great food and open atmosphere really improved my dining experience, especially their projector to watch sports! The Bulgogi fries are great as a party appetizer, and the Korean Bowl is great with egg! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants great food at a reasonable price and wants to support local businesses! I’ll be back soon, guaranteed!

The food is so good! The wings, kalbi ribs, and japchae are my favorite!
Josh Bassetti
Really unique and delicious food. We had the spicy Korean pork bowl and the kimchi Mac and cheese. Both had lots of flavor and their drinks are fantastic too! Highly recommend!
Thomas Wysocki
Tasty eclectic menu of mainly Mexican meets Korean. Really enjoyed the bibimbop and Korean ramen. The full bar is nice though the beer selection is merely meh (IMO).
The space and staff are quite nice, though I do wish the dining area weren’t so abruptly lit. There are cozy lights all around but the really bright white lights overpower them.

Wish I lived closer in the area, good food. Good menu, will be back. Had some really good drinks. Great spot before or after games.

Great place, some of the best wings in Seattle. Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Our go to spot before Kraken games! Thank u SZN.
Denise Tanaka
It's an okay place for a cocktail in the area. Lots of places to sit, spacious place.
Joselyne Rivera Rusca
The chicken wings are the best item in the menu. The ramen is also very good, try it with spicy pork
Suzanne Gonzalez
I live across the street from SZN. The staff, food and owners are all great. I highly recommend this spot for date nights or large parties. As the dining room can accommodate both.

Food was decent, drink was delicious (I had the Madre Caliente). Music was good. Vibe was good. Would check it out again
