I heard about Spinasse while traveling to Seattle during previous visits but was unable to get a reservation in the past but I was finally excited to get a spot here. The restaurant is very intimate and charming, and our server was incredibly friendly. She recommended an excellent Nebbiolo wine bottle that paired nicely with our meal. The pasta dishes are to die for!! We ordered 3 different pastas and it was one of the best Italian food experiences I have ever had in the states. Hands down, #1 Italian restaurant in Seattle!!!
Highly recommend booking this place in advance and coming with an empty stomach because of how delicious this everything is here!

My friend made reservation for this place a while ago. We went in for dinner yesterday night. The restaurant is super cozy and has nice lighting. Definitely a place for a date night. The service we got was amazing, we got all our questions answered and our hostess checked on us after every course.
One thing to keep in mind is that if you are a vegetarian, then there is hardly anything on the menu. I think I had only 3 choices. There isn’t a lot of chicken dishes too. I got the Cavatelli which was great but I am not blown away. They gave us complimentary bread as well.
Would recommend if his place but this isn’t the best Italian I have tried.

The rabbit pasta and fig sauce dessert are really great. The service and the atmosphere are so so. The wine is definitely not the types we like. Overall, it is pricy and maybe not worth time to wait a reservation for almost a month.

Spinasse is my favorite restaurant in Seattle! It’s phenomenal every time I’ve visited. I love doing the tasting menu because you get to try every dish on the menu, served family style. I definitely recommend doing the wine pairing with it! Everything I’ve tried there is delicious, but my favorite dishes are the Tajarin (both of them) and the Cipollini when they have it.

We came here for dinner last night through a recommendation from a friend.
The Italian dishes they offered are not that of the traditional dishes such as spaghetti and meatballs or lasagna. They offer a 1/2 portion or full portion on their items. We opted for the half portion along with an appetizer and it was more than enough. The two pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and rich.
Definitely worth a visit

The pasta was fresh and tasted amazing! The ingredients were very simple but all the dishes were delicious. The wine they recommended tasted great along with our food. The restaurant itself felt very cozy - will definitely go back to try other items on their menu.

On the menu there’s an option to order EVERYTHING. That’s what we did. It was a great experience by itself.
The food are mostly tasty. The fresh pasta taste so good - especially liked the mini ravioli with rabbit. The duck breast and the tuna mayo appetizer also stand out.
The service was exceptional as well. Overall it was a great experience

I don't say this lightly - this is one of the best meals I've had in my 3 years of living in Seattle so far. We got the family style dinner (little bit of everything) which I highly reccomend. Everything was packed with flavor and expertly crafted. A truly special experience! Service was unbelievable as well.

Wow, there is a good reason why this is often listed as the best pasta restaurant in Seattle. We went for a girl's night and had such an awesome experience. We started strong with the complimentary bread. The bread was soft and pillowy with a nice crust and also came with thin bread sticks that were perfectly seasoned for such a small surface area. Next, the eggplant appetizer was such a refreshing palette cleanser from the heaviness of the bread. And lastly, the star of the show was the deceptively simple sounding pasta dishes. Each dish had minimal ingredients listed on the menu but they really delivered on flavor. I had the cavatelli with braised short rib that was so beautifully tender, completely the al dente pasta. Definitely check this place out!!
Very limited street parking in this area along with a few paid lots nearby.
