Reviews of Seatown Rub Shack & FishFry
Marolyn Lucy Gentles
Lovely ambiance. Food a little pricey. Service was good. I liked that the tables were nicely spaced. The beer is good. Enjoyed my meal and beer. I recommend ordering extra of the cabbage salad. It is awesome 👌
Ron “ronskidude”
Service is disappointing for the price point. The basics are missed like the offering drinks or water from the get go. My friend ordered a Lobster Roll and it was really disappointing.
The only good experience I guess would be that it's close to the water and pike place but that's about it.
Price of the dishes on the menu and its taste doesn't really justify it. You're gonna be overpaying for food here.
No parking here but it's Seattle so I guess you gotta find a good spot or be lucky to find a close one.
Food choices is okay, limited to seafood but that's what's the restaurant is about.
You can opt for outdoor dining if you want social distancing but there's also indoor dining.

My 1st Seattle experience with Raw Oysters and it was great. Taste like the fresh ocean in a shell. The Calamari was seasoned well and fried perfectly. The crazy thing was that the tots are hands down the best I've ever had. The seasonings with the smoked paprika are spot on and amazing. The side of slaw is really crisp and clean with nice and bright flavors.
Just happened upon this place leaving Pike's and highly recommend it. Not pricey at all and a great find.

Great location across from the 2 town poles in the park. Great casual vibes of ordering at counter and seating yourself. Snagged an outfit table in a sunny 80 degree day! Lived it! Food tasted great and was served fast.

First place we ate in Seattle after a long day of travel and trying to find a spot to eat in the Pike Place area around 7 pm. We didn’t realize most places close in this neighborhood by 6 pm during the week.
This a no nonsense spot, where you order at the counter and then seat yourself. We ordered a combo plate with chips (me) and a salmon burger (which the staff said was the best in the world! and my colleague who ate it agreed it was at the top of her list).
The fries had a great seasoning and the batter dipped seafood I had did as well. Overall good, but prices might be just a tad high. Though it’s seafood and in a popular tourist area, so it’s to be expected I suppose.

I didn’t have any complaints about this place! The wife and I ate outside. If you are a people watcher then sit outside. My clam chowder was delicious. The wife didn’t care for her fish tacos. She felt it wasn’t cooked the traditional way. From seeing the plates of fish and chips being served, she wished she would have order that. As for the service? I felt they were professional and friendly. I would go back again but this time the wife and I will stay away from the fish tacos.
Travis Lufsey
Top 3 fish and chips I've had. The fish and the chips come with a rub dusted on them which is interesting, I've never had "fish" with a finishing seasoning on it, but it complimented it very well and didn't make it a different dish. Fish was obviously very fresh and overall it wasn't too expensive. My wife doesn't like fish at all but tried a small piece and actually didn't mind it, so that's saying a lot. She got the chicken sandwich and it was also very tasty as well. It somehow had the taste of fried chicken while being grilled.
Michael Barto
Unfortunately the food was just ok. No wait service. The fish and shrimp are beer battered and pretty greasy. The fries are good. The salmon dip was easily the best part of the whole meal.
Joseph Ballard
Good food. A little pricey. Fish and chips had one of their signature rubs so was unique. Black current and apple cider was a good complement. The line outside then inside was confusing. Friendly service. Got our food almost right away. Cool atmosphere.
Erik Oglesby
A nice out of the way place off the Puget Sound down in the Pike Place area. Great place for a lunch or dinner date and a stroll through Pike Place Market in Seattle WA.
Maia Hammy
Everything was delicious and service was very fast (a mixed approach of QR codes and old-fashioned waitstaff seems to work for them). It's crowded (location, location!). The portions were on the small side and almost everything came with the "rub" -- that was a little much at times. Variety of seating options, including outdoors. We'll be back!

Wonderful Fresh Seafood! Simple and delicious with a twist! Best fish and chips in town. Don't forget dessert 😉 Everything is great here. Picture is a little sample.

One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in years. We had a lobster roll, fish and chips, salmon sashimi, and oysters. Everything was amazing. The lobster roll rivaled the ones I’ve had in Boston, and the fish and chips (we had the Alaskan cod one) was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Was also impressed by the chef being out in the front of house during peak service hours to talk to customers. I also had a Manhattan which was kind of subpar, but this really isn’t a place you go to for cocktails. This is a place you go to eat, and the meal left me and my friend thinking about it for hours afterword.
Mark C
Very good seafood.
Combo Fish/Calamari/Shrimp and chips recommend. The salmon burger was very good. Condiments seemed homemade.(Note: This is a full piece of Salmon, not a salmon patty.)
Christine C
I know this is a weird way to start a review but I hate fish. I have NEVER had a fish fry that I could take more than one bite of. I got a sample fish fry from here on a foodie tour and I am a changed woman. It was not overly fishy tasting, the breading was nice and crisp, and the tarter sauce was perfection. Well done Seatown. You have won me over! Also they use tots for chips, which takes them up ANOTHER level on my book.
gayla graves
Absolutely fantastic the batter is phenomenal!! The clam chowder is excellent!! The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect! Thank you!
Foxy Jules
The food was decently good but my meal came out to $45 for a crabcake and a tuna melt, which I thought was ridiculously expensive. The crabcake wasn't anything extraordinary either, the tuna melt was good but the cost was just to expensive. The service was walk up and order, so nothing fancy. It was a nice view of the Pier.
Libni Chavez
Thir ordering process was a breeze and our hostess and waitress was awesome. Every single thing we tried, including the drinks, was on point. Will definitely be having to come back here some day.
Raquel F.
I have never had fish and chips so mouthwateringly delicious! From the cod that melted in my mouth to the weirdly tangy bbq ketchup to the best tartar sauce I've tasted (I'm normally not a tartar sauce fan), I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We walked in just before close, which we knew was cutting it close, but the staff still served us with a smile and the fish and chips came out hot and fresh. I cleared my plate in record time and my only regret is that my stomach isn't larger.
B. V.
You bate a salmon burger and a crispy taco. Scrumptious food, definitely coming back.
You have to stand in line and place your order and pay. Then you sit where you want and they bring your food.
Rob Neville
Great chowder, the fish tacos were ok. Went for lunch, the service was very welcoming and friendly. The chowder was very good, creamy and flavorful, but the fish tacos were just ok. The toppings overpowered the fish and the amount of fish was very small.
John
Delicious fish and chips, fries and calamari. Nice small little patio. Prices are reasonable and service excellent.
Erika Oliver
Nice place to sit and enjoy a nice bowl of clam chowder and people watch in Pike Place Market! The chowder was good and the bread bowl was fantastic!
Ethan Enfinger
Came into town for the Christmas weekend, stumbled upon Seatown so we decided to give it a shot, busy but not a long wait in to order. Food came out relatively fast for what we ordered, from the crab legs, to the Alaskan Cod and the Salmon it was incredible! The flash fried calamari was an excellent as well! The Alaskan Cod and Chips was 10/10 ,homemade onion roasted ketchup is to die for. Price is good for the portions! Will definitely be back again for lunch when I’m back in the city!

My wife I found ourselves down by Pike Place Market about 6pm and a little hungry. We wandered into Seatown Rub Shack & Fish Fry for a little bite. We ordered at the front desk and found a seat at the window. Fish and Chips, a Caesar Salad and a cup of chowder. Service was quick, the Caesar salad was real good , with shavings of cheese and nice crisp lettuce. The Chowder was very good. But the Fish and Chips were great ! Three nice pieces of fish, and they have a very nice RUB they add, the batter was very good, not thick and hard, but thin with being crispy. And the fries had the rub on them too! Atmosphere was laid back. I saw one thing I will have to try next time. An alcoholic slush from the slushy machine. Great Place

Take out review: Got a lot of seafood combos! It was a hit and miss but overall pretty filling and satisfying. I probably wouldn't do take out again but friends really wanted seafood and we had too many people to try to dine in on a weekend haha. Maybe next time if I'm nearby I'll dine in.
Food: 5/10
Value: 5/10

OH MY GOSH. I would 100% will be here again, I got the king crab legs and they were seasoned so well it was unreal. The rest of my family got wild salmon burgers and those were the best salmon burgers I’ve ever had. For dessert, we got the mochi donuts and they were not like expected but BETTER! 100% recommend
Joseph DiRenzo
Great lobster roll and cool ambiance! Conveniently located close to the action but still accessible.
Angie
Everything was yummy! From the seafood to the tater tots to their homemade sauces and even the coleslaw- it was all well seasoned. It's also a great location for an awesome view! I would most definitely go back!
D Sawyer
The chowder was delicious, the atmosphere was casual, and the wait staff was friendly. Even though Pike Place Market was bustling and crowded, this restaurant had a few tables available - probably due to the fast service and the location just at the end of the main market footprint.
The only thing I would mention as a detractor was the silverware in the baskets on the tables. Myself and my guests pulled several of them up to see if they were spoons, but they were all butter knives and forks. We touched a bunch of them before the waiter brought our chowder...and soup spoons. Where there no spoons in the baskets at all? No clue! Maybe they were the ones we didn't pull out. I really appreciate the paper straws and metal utensils, to reduce plastics, but maybe some way to separate the utensils on the table would be nice.
I will be back for more of that chowder!
monique Sharp
Hands down the best clam chowder I have ever had!! The fish and chips were phenomenal also. I can’t get over how yummy the tartar sauce was, I could have just eaten that by the spoonful. Definitely recommend stopping by and seeing the friendly staff and have some great seafood.
Farm Saechao
I was really excited about this being a Tom Douglas restaurant and left feeling bleh about it because of these reasons:
Food - salmon was seared and flavorful on the Caesar salad; chowder is more on the thick side if that’s what you like; barely had any clams or bacon, I got more sour dough croutons in it.
The Seafood Combo - extremely greasy. I don’t think they let the grease drip in a towel before serving. Maybe to keep it warm when served? Best thing in the combo was the tots, but we cautioned eating the bottom portions since it was drenched in grease and we ended up not touching the cod.
Service - place operates like a cafe, you order and sit down. Water brought to us right away. Now, we try to enjoy ourselves and not look around, but we started noticing how the servers checked in with the other guests with friendly service; asking how the food was, small talk.
My bf and I started chatting about the service and notice we hadn’t been checked on after our food arrived. We even asked for napkins and they forgot until they saw us and acknowledged they forgot for a second. It felt like we had to get their attention when we needed something. While the other guests were being catered too.
Then the lady came over to check on us. At that point it just felt awkward. It felt like they didn’t know how to approach us or say hi. It was just awkward.
So for about $85, we would prefer Ivars.

Fast, fresh, and a kitchen I trust. If you aren’t familiar with Tom Douglas, or any of his kitchens, this is a great starting point. I have tried a few others, but had yet to try this until today. A proper salmon burger, the fish served with full integrity, yet still as a burger.
Ben Kirkpatrick
Pretty dang good fish and chips. Right next to Pike Place too - that's hard to beat!
Ciara Ahina
Food was good. Inside and outside seating. Quick service. 2 co-op bathrooms.
Jessica Reeder
Loved this place! It’s a cute place to grab some great seafood that you can sit outside and see the water right in Pikes Market. The seafood was extremely fresh, had a TON of flavor with all the seasonings. Depending on what you get it can be a bit pricey however the food was worth every penny to us!! We ordered their pomegranate mules which were the only mediocre part of our experience I’d suggest something else if you’re a mule drink lover, we got the sampler with: shrimp, cod, calamari, 1/4th lb crab legs, and a bowl of clam chowder. Everything was awesome!! Service was a bit of a let down but we enjoyed our experience overall.
Norma Martinez
The salmon burger is so surprisingly good. The spices & sauce compliment the fish so well. The bread and vegetables perfectly bring it all together. It's by far, the best salmon burger I've ever had.
Leizel Cordero
We ordered oysters, fish and chips, and fish tacos. Everything tasted so fresh!
Sarah Cahan
Great Tom Douglas restaurant. The cocktails were delicious and the seafood combo was tasty tho the fried fish was a bit too greasy. Friendly service
Rachit Gupta
Went here for seafood tacos. I wasn't expecting hard shell tacos but soft ones. The sauce was very average for the price but the fish (Cod) was delicious. They can really improve with the outdoor seating area and the menu selection. Looking forward!

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner last minute unexpected - it was Saturday and patio weather, so most other popular restaurants in pikes place market was a bit crowded. Wow I was super impressed by how great everything was, from the food to their customer service! I got the salmon Caesar salad and it’s one of the best salads I’ve ever had 😋 my boyfriend got the pacific cod fish fry basket and I kept stealing bites of his food because the fried cod was just so crispy, juicy and well seasoned! It came with a side of tator tots seasoned with some sort of Cajun spice as well that was pretty good. 10/10 I recommend, definitely underrated

Excellent food. fast service. I make it a requirement to stop by here for the Sockeye salmon burger and crab rolls. Nothing fancy but just the best!
Mang
Excellent fish and chips. Fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was crispy and flavorful. Fries were nicely seasoned as well.
Diego Noguez
The food was ok. It was one of those times when you see a place and you imagine you are going to have a great meal and at the end it was just ok. The service was bad. Took too long to get their attention to ask for something.
Brent Snyder
Had some good fish and chips and a beer. Stuff was super nice. Only complaint was they were shutting down and leaving to door open to bring outside chairs inside so it was freezing
Asmita Aggarwal
Food was okay. Service was good too. We went around lunch time which was not rush time I guess. They were serving only breakfast and lunch options and we ordered market's scramble and fried egg sandwich. The hash browns on the side were delicious and were done differently. The place charges 20% mandate service fees so you don't need to tip but I think standard fee is not ideal especially for big groups. I was more interested in dinner items so I guess I will go one more time. Overall I think it's bit expensive but worth one try.
Vick Sh
Great location just besides the famous Pike's market. We had some oysters and they were tasty!
Amanda Root
I had a client in town on business and we had some time before our first meeting. Being from out of town she wanted to check out Pike Place and after strolling through the market right at opening, we stumbled upon this Tom Douglas gem.
We decided to sit outside which was a really great choice as the dining area is very cute and fantastic for people watching. We didn’t see lattes on the menu, so we kindly asked the server and he said he would “absolutely” make us a couple of lattes. Delicious!! I ordered the breakfast sandwich with smoked salmon. Ugh. I’ve been dreaming about it ever since! Homemade muffin from Dahlia bakery, perfectly cooked egg, avocado, cheese (I think), and super flavorful smoked salmon, accompanied by really fresh fruit!
Overall, my colleague and I had an awesome breakfast experience at Seatown Seabar, and would totally recommend you giving it a go!
Richard Gray
A little on the pricey side for a casual spot but that’s to be expected for the location, it didn’t feel touristy and the food certainly made it worth the stop. Very fresh selection of three different kinds of Washington oysters on hand that day and some appropriate beers on tap paired beautifully. The menu featured mostly items that allows the seafood’s quality to shine, I would expect no less from Tom Douglas.
Jack Strubbe
I both live and work in Pike Place Market. I get spoiled, lol, because of it. I had reason to shop at World Market a block away, and felt like a beer and a wee bite. Very nice but small draft selection, and the calamari I had was deliciously breaded and spiced, and good value. I also happen to be 74, partially mobility impaired, and often feel somewhat shunned some places because of it. I did not feel that here, and greatIy appreciate that... I will be back! Thank you.
Jasmine Arnold
This place was GREAT! The service was excellent. I had outdoor seating on a beautiful day! The host sat is quickly. Now...the food... AMAZING! I had the Bubbles for Brunch and I ordered the Salmon Burger. It comes with a toasted bun, lettuce and pickled green tomatoes. It was delicious. I opted for the side salad (instead of chips). It was so good. House vinaigrette, yellow beets, sunflower seeds and crumbled white cheddar. You have to go!!!
Gina B
Outdoor patio seating during covid. We had the most amazing salmon burgers and fried shrimp. Everything was so delicious, and the staff was very nice. Great place for casual seafood!
Kathleen Pletta
Real taste of Seattle! Great food. A little pricey than normal breakfast/ lunch spots but very much worth it as a treat. Meal below was amazing (Salmon burger with tots and Crab BLT with salad-higly recommend both) and the Pike Place Mule. With the 20% service tax, takes care of tip, our lunch came to $60. It was well worth though as we enjoyed the views of the market and Sound.
Ross Jordan
I actually thought it was the most mediocre expensive meal I've ever bought. The presentation was beautiful, but the food just wasn't that great. Good Ambience, good service. But was a letdown for the money we spent. Set up for the tourist... connoisseur.
M. L.
Ok, I know this is downtown but.... sometimes you dont just get tourists.. you get locals too and I wish more people actually took that into consideration with pricing and quantity.
The food was great, around the table we had... clam chowder and a salad, a half Dungeness Crab, and the Crab Benedict. They were all great and I posted pictures. The salad had a lot of cheese so if your not a fan id let them know light cheese.
They get their salmon from Bristol Bay Alaska (my home) so i was pleased to see that, as well as the no pebble mine sticker. The waitress didnt really know a lot about the salmon and i feel like to some people that is a big deal. It was to me and the other people at my table so i am sure there is others.
I like how they tell you about the service charge ahead of time. Nothing i like more then honesty.
The reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is the drinks. THE BLOODY MARYS were like you didn't have all the ingredients at home so you improvised and that's what you got and the moscow mule was 1. Served in a glass instead of copper cup and 2. Tasted like lemonade with vodka. I wasn't impressed especially for the price.
Michelle McClain
I will happily recommend Seatown Market Diner if you get the chance . Right in the heartbeat of Pike's Market .
Surrounded by the happy and buzzing atmosphere, you can choose outside patio seating or the air conditioning of inside.
The clam chowder is some of the best tasting, with smooth texture .
Also tried the fresh shrimp cocktail. Spicy sauce and served on scrumptious cole slaw.
Very friendly and happy staff! They let us know this restaurant pays a higher hourly wage so there's no worries about gratuity at the end of the meal. Different concept that I've not heard of before but this place was running so well I would say whatever they're doing is working!! Loved it!
Kenneth “Mayor Wayward Gigglesnort” Woodward
We fully enjoyed this breakfast and coffee. My family ordered differently than I, choosing lunch items. The bread is delicious, not to crisp on the crust, so its easy to eat. Pricey, but tip is included in meal. Remember that! I forgot that she told us this twice. Just out of habit I layed out a twenty (because Bill for 5 people was 136.00) so now I know why she was so thankfull as we left.
LeoVicky Altamiranda
Went on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and there was a very short wait. Ambiance is cute, location is great, and there's plenty of outside seating. We got the fish tacos (grilled!) and I got the sangria. The seasoning on the fries is amazing!
Only downside is the flies and the crime at Pike Place. We were there for less than an hour and 3 police cars and a firetruck showed up across the way.
Angel Diva
The menu said gulf shrimp and being from the gulf coast these shrimp did not taste like gulf shrimp, they were good but definitely not from the gulf coast.
Nani Palmer
We loved the breakfast here, as a matter of fact we came back the next day for round two. I highly recommend the fresh English muffin bacon and egg sandwich. The bacon thick-cut and has a nice smokey flavor . The outdoor paito offers views to the ocean and for the cooler days it has heaters. While the staff and service is friendly and did a good job, personally I am not a fan of places that require a 20% tip. Just a heads up this will be added to your bill. The general manager was kind and listen to my concerns about their tipping policy
jessica Jackson
We were looking for some good seafood for my husband. I wanted eggs benedict. This place had the best of both worlds. Seriously, the best hollandaise sauce I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a little patio in the front to people watch and see the waterfront. I'd definitely go back.
William Ngo
I ate here because the line at Pike Place Chowder was too long and because the hostess was very friendly and helpful, but it's way overpriced. $8 for a small cup of clam chowder served in a paper cup and $3 for a donut served on a paper tray. At least the donut was good.
David Wang
Disappointed in general, food served very slow
Justin Lui
Surprisingly better than expected.
Burger? Good size. I didn’t eat it but my buddy liked it.
Fries? Awesome. Not the best ever but good crunch and not too thick.
Fish taco? Good but I prefer my wrap grilled. And if the fish was fried, it would have been tastier but it’s healthy the way it is.
Fish and chips? Same good chips. Fish fried? Very good. Beer batter is better than most batters.
Mussels? Okay. The sauce is fine but average in flavor.
Overall, dishes were fine to very good. Recommendable 4 star rounded up to five-star (based on one lunch).

This was our first visit...probably won't go back. It was nice that the restaurant has outdoor seating so considering it was a beautiful day being able to sit outside was a positive part of our visit. Other than the young man who took our order the rest of the staff were not helpful and somewhat rude. We ordered at the counter and then sat down to wait for our foood. One of our party's food came and the rest of our food didn't come for at least 10 more minutes. We asked why, but no explanation was given for this. No one offered us drink refills; we went up to the bar to get them ourselves and were only given some soda without any ice. Our food was ok; the salmon burger was probably the best item from our order. The fish-n-chips weren't very flavorful and were greasy. They skimped on the fries which was surprising as fries are cheap. There are many other options for food in the Pike St. Market area so we will make a different choice next time.
DavidC EG
Kind of cool place if it's the one I'm thinking of at Pikes market in Seattle.
The the clam chowder is fantastic and the grilled cheese sandwiches kids is pretty good. The fries are good as well.
Susan Ella T
Best fish and chips, hands down!! I don't know what they put in the batter used to fry the fish, but it is AMAZING! Awesome fries; unique and delicious coleslaw; and their homemade tartar is delicioso! They have outdoor seating with an excellent view. We will definitely be going back!
nja934
Staff (Nicole) was friendly, food was great. COCONUT CREME PIE is the stuff that dreams are made of. I had a the salmon burger, one oyster, and the pie. Would definitely go again.
Damein Roache
The cod was the best I’ve had. I love fries and those were 🔥🔥 as well. I’m 43 and I came all the way from Portland and I’ve had cod but this was the best so far. …
Julio C. Escamilla
The food was amazing. The staff was friendly. The lobster roll is a must.
Flossie Mae
The customer service was A+. They were even trying to help me charge my phone. I left my selfie stick there but of course with so many ppl in and out, my stick will not turn up… Anyway, I went simple and ordered the Fish and Chips with a Ginger beer. I originally was going to eat there but I had to go so I didn’t eat my food until I got back to the hotel which was 30 mins away. My fish was still crispy CRISPY! I would for eat there again especially since I couldn’t make it Ivars.
Li Davis
Fresh oysters from Washington. Then cocktails are refreshing too. You won't feel strong alcohol taste but I got a little light hearted while walking back to hotel by the piers.
Regina Ogilvie
We really enjoyed the food and the seasoning was great. I had to buy some to enhance my foods at home. Three employees came to ask us if we needed anything and if we needed anything.
Aryn
The food was good and it was quick. Prices are a little high but that's expected right next to pikes. Ignore the sign out front telling you to wait if no one is out there..
Cindy Myers
Delicious fish tacos. The clam chowder is so creamy and yummy. Out side seating was very nice. Dog friendly.
dc cruz
Delicious fish and chips 😋 found this little place, amazing fish 🐠🐟 and 🍺🍻 first time here, from Ontario CA going to Alaska ⛴️
Jason Nesslage
Very good! Outdoor seating is a plus! Food is very good! Very fast! Very busy! Right across from Pike Place.
Sidney Tu
If you can make it during Crabby Hour, it's even better because you save your pretty pennies! Also plus side is less people so you get faster service.
I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food and service was! We placed our order at the counter and drinks came out within minutes, food came out shortly after. You can seat yourselves inside or outside depending on the weather. The patio does have an awning so you don't get wet from the rain and you can people watch everyone walking to Pike's.
Highly recommend the sangria and codwich. Kinda wish I ordered the Dungeness crab roll too, maybe next time!
Joshua Widener
Very tasty salmon burger with pickled tomatoes. Never had a pickled tomato but it was excellent. This is a must try!!
Alex Rodriguez
Euro style sit-down café by Pike Place Market, Seattle, Washington. We went there for lunch. We had their clam chowder, Albacore Tuna Melt. Both were exceptional. The best clam chowder I've had, and Albacore Tuna Melt was wonderful as well. Highly recommend. We also had Basil Pesto Turkey sandwich it was also very delicious and highly recommend.
Toula Fralick
I've been here a few times and can only talk about the pan fried oysters and king crab. YUM. I always get the 1/2 lb of king crab when i'm in the area and it is always fresh and delicious. I love the bruleed lemon and the bread that comes with it. The service is always excellent and I love the location. It's close enough but away from the chaos of the busy public market. There are so many options to choose from when you're in the area but I always choose Seatown!
Mateo
GET THE CALAMARI. GET THE CALAMARI. STOP EVERYTHING AND GET THE CALAMARI. (Or the fish and chips! That was very good, too!)
Great staff, super kind, food was excellent, fantastic environment, spectacular cocktail sauce, pet friendly. They went above and beyond to make us and our puppy feel welcome - even gave us dog treats and a bowl of water!
Cannot recommend this place enough. What a treat!
Darin Lewandowski
Wow...I had some of the BEST Tasting BACON at this Waterfront Restaurant!! Food is portioned perfectly, great atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. Next time I will try Dinner!!
Amy White
Delicious fish place right outside Pikes Place Market. Definitely worth the visit. The crab BLT was fresh & satisfying.
Nick Tubbs
Nice place right down by the market. It actually shares a kitchen with the neighboring "Love Rub Shack" restaurant and is owned by the same owner (Also owns Ettas as well). Prices are decent for the location which does have some views of the water. Free piece of taffy at the register! The coconut pie was also delicious.
Esmeralda Rascon
I love the crisp calamari and the Corona beer 🍺 thanks.
Max Pietsch (Max)
This place was very accomodating of my lactose intolerance which was much appreciated.
I enjoyed my salmon egg benedict with fruit for breakfast.
The salmon burger was not good. The side salad that came with the burger had amazing vinaigrette and beets and nuts.
The fishmonger stew was fantastic. Bread dipped in the tomato based sauce is good plus a good bit of seafood. Honestly could be a small meal two people if you get it with an extra piece of bread, or one big meal for one person.
The dungeness crab BLT was good. Very tasty and very much the taste youd expect from a good seafood BLT.
Ron Frazier
Wonderful food and staff! They accommodated our 9-person party, after a short wait, by pulling two tables together.
The food was amazing and the service was very attentive. Our chicken wings were deliciously crisp and smokey. The salmon tasted fresh, the tater tots were crispy and moist, and the portions of fish and calamari were large.
Thank you for being a great place for our Alaskan friends to have lunch with us. We'll be back!
Bill Pippin
We were in Seattle first time where we had time to explore. We originally set out for Pikes Place Farmer's Market but decided to check out the row of small restaurants nearby. This was one of the few we passed that had seating. From the name I initially thought it was a BBQ restaurant. The menu was mostly seafood. We both decided on their Clam Chowder. We both enjoyed it. The prices seemed a little high but we used to dining in rural Florida. We would come back again if we are in Seattle again.
Susan McDowall
I had the special (delish) a crab leg number, and even the ginger coleslaw was good. Do get the calamari too.
Olivier Prock
Good option away from the crowds of pike market.
Clam chowder pretty good, but $20 for a bread bowl is definitely tourist pricing.
Cod fish and chips good beer batter flavor and side sauces.. a touch heavy
Paul Connor
Had lunch with Fish (cod) and chips, and the sea food platter. Excellent meal, with the batter just right, nice little bit of spice on the fries, and the ginger in the coleslaw made it stand out. Would definitely recommend
Dustin Anderson
Great place to grab some fish and chips! The crab blt sandwich was great aswell with a little kick! Only downfall was they serve coke products lol. Definitely worth trying, we will be back!
Mitchell Feragen
The food was amazing. The cheeseburgers were so flavorful and the fries were tasty
Bryce M. Van Klein
The view was nice from the outdoor table. I had the halibut and chips, which was okay. It tasted fine, but the portions were small.
Lenoke85
All around a pretty decent establishment, was not used to the pickles but everything else was really good.
Linda Chang
Smoked salmon sliders were served free during a public speaking event to raise awareness of keeping wild salmon sustainable and discourage pebble mining. I would be back ag as in to sample other menu options knowing sustainability is in this restaurant's core.
V Jackson
Lovely location down by Pike Place Market and offers dining out on their heated street patio. All of the nibbles we chose to have mid-afternoon were all really delicious! We had their smoked salmon devised eggs, quick cure sockeye lettuce wraps and their tuna melt sandwich. This is one of the restaurants in Seattle that now automatically adds 20% gratuity to everyone's bill. Service was good and we were happy to pay this level of gratuity… but, personally I'm not the biggest fan of the "auto-gatuity"… feel tipping should be a choice and that customers should be able to give more or less based on the level of service and quality of food given.
Tina-Marie Simpson
Cute restaurant we visited when seeing Pikes Place. The salmon burger, clam chowder and fried shrimp were all great!
Kristen Kerber
Just grabbed a quick bite on our way through town! Delicious food, great options, we sat on the patio and enjoyed a beer while we waited for our food.
Ray P
Could be better, but at least they are still open . . . When all the surrounding businesses are closed.
Leonard Ngumbah
You will find all sprts of fish here and witness the famous throwing of fish. Thwy also play some tricks with fish and chains that could really freak you out if you dont have a hint.
Brian LeHuquet
Food was great. Seafood fresh and well prepared. Drinks were a little underwhelming and tap list a little basic for such a great beer city.
Morocco Taclibon
Kinda tourist-y and expensive because of the proximity to the waterfront, but the food was great so 5 stars!
Feebs Brathwaite
Not sure what the other two recent reviews were talking about but our experience was DELICIOUS. I'm not a foodie per se but I eat many different cuisines and appreciate tasty food and great service. This place delivered on both accounts. The fried cod was the best I've ever had. Flaky, seasoned crust and super fresh , flaky cod. Tater tots are a great addition and the baked oysters had just the right amount of breadcrumbs to compliment but not overpower. The adult beverages did not disappoint either, the Seattle punch and hibiscus margarita were tasty, well balanced.
Tarah Walton
Small portions. Food wasnt very hot. Nice staff.
Jerimiah Roth
Great food and staff! Quite pricey though!
Kristin Kania (Kristin)
I agree that the tables were spaced nicely so that you didn’t feel crowded. Love the QR code ordering!! Food was superb, especially the mussels and the fish and chips.
Heather Boyce
The vibe is nice, waiters are friendly but the food is okay. I spent 60 dollars for 2 burgers (salmon and cheeseburger), crab cakes and a Hawaiian margarita, which was mostly ice. The food left me wanting for actual food so don't think I will be back.
Xenotine
Came to this place on May 18th 2022 for dinner with my family. I read on google that their salmon burger was really good. I tried it and it was best salmon burger I ever had.
Roselyne Nyangai (Wasilwa)
This is a beautiful place that serves sea food. The experience here was amanzing. The people who severed us was very friendly and treated very very well. I enjoyed the food and the service. Thank you.
Elesha High
Loved it!!! Loved their version of an Bloody Mary. We came here, as maximilliens service stunk that day. No regrets. Nice scenery! Hubby had pot pie. Wonderful!
J. Nykol
The salmon burger was absolutely hands down the best I've ever had.... fries were piping hot which I LOVE and the service was dope ...thanks definitely will be back
Catherine TD
Great! Sat outside Memorial Day, fish tacos and salmon filet burger. The wine is not great, beer probably a better choice.
John Flores
Fantastic fish and chips! Hit the spot. The oysters were great also. Overall, a bit pricey but a good stop when all other market place places are closed.
Russell Beisel
The clam chowder was excellent! Was it worth $9 per CUP? I'm not so sure... We'll stick with just a snack and not a whole meal at that price
CA Gray
Highly recommend the crab Benedict. Great service and ambience. Lovely li'l Pike Place eatery
Shandi LaRue
Service was amazing here both times, once for lunch and once for happy hour. Great happy hour menu and prices! The Lantern Charmeuse Belgian Wheat was amazing.
Percy Pomeroy
Good clam chowder, my daughter said the salmon burger was the best she ever had. Reasonable prices, clean, good service.
Angela Cajas
Food and service were awesome 👌. Price was good . Nice atmosphere Plenty of food .We had Oysters , Crab legs , Cod, Coleslaw. Everything was delicious. You must have proof of vaccination or negative covid test to dine in . You can order at the counter or order at your table using your phone .
Star Thomas
I don't eat shellfish. But the salmon burger is epic!! Absolutely delicious. 💯 Service was fast. Nice open view. I'm going back here when I visit again. …
Jake Witcher
Gretchen, the General Manager, is *NO* JOKE! I called her earlier today for an order to feed 25 attorneys, BY 5:30 P.M.! She said, "I gotcha, bring it on." You talk about perfect communication, timing, delivery... Absolutely fantastic. And all the attorneys RAVED about the food. Thank you, Gretchen!
Mark Shibuya
You can enjoy local seafoods even in the morning from 10 am, together with variaty of breakfast and brunch menus.
Clam chawder is one of the most popular start-ups.
John Church
My wife and I shared a Caesar salad with smoked salmon, and a grilled salmon filet that was prepared perfectly!
Additionally, I had their version of an old fashioned, which was delicious!
Service was thoughtful and exceptional!
I highly recommend!
Mark Johnston
Had some amazing clam chowder. Dungenous crab was ok. Nice spot overall.
Joshua Vogel
I really wanted to love their clam chowder, but it was just okay.
That's the only thing I ordered, so my review is 100% based on that. Take it with a grain of salt.
Michelle Krier
I'm totally serious. I was not interested in eating at this location. I'm not even sure why I felt this way.
I take it all back. The seafood was extremely fresh and delicious. The shrimp, calamari and cod were perfect. If you like it hot, go for the wings. Crispy on the outside, hot and juicy on the inside. Ceaser salad was very flavorful. We're taking triple coconut cream pie home with us. Too stuffed. Portions are more than generous.Courtney was a friendly server. Highly recommend.
Jimmy Son
I ordered fish and chips, and a cup of clam chowder. All of it was really good! The fish was well battered and crispy, with nice chunks of fish. The clam chowder was also very good (but not as good as Pike Place Chowder).
Sandy Schlaudecker
Inside and outside seating. A little pricey, expected. Food good. Wait not too bad.
Fern Guerra
Great food and even better customer service 😁
James Curd
Food is delicious 😋 best shrimp I've ever tasted 😋
Gordy Bell
Excellent choices for lical northwest favorite seafoods like wild salmon, with fresh crisp vegetables, in sides and salads. Right across from the Pike Stteet Market.
Lori Lauck
Fabulous food, good bar tender, relaxed atmosphere
TheEarth011
The food was ok,much better than some other places that we visited on the same day. Good spot next to the Pike Market
Shem Ishler
Pretty sweet spot near the market. Affordable and delicious. The clam chowder is perfect and I’m picky about my chowder. I also had the mussels, which is honestly more like a soup with the beans and ham extras. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect meal for a Seattle lunch on a typical light rain / sunspot kinda day. Shout out to the gal taking orders, what energy and awesome customer service!!!
Local Guide
Good food but not so nice area around when you sit outside
Arsany “Fucked up account” Hann
One of the best Salmon dishes I ever had
The BRISTOL BAY SOCKEYE SALMON is amazing must try
Karrie Garcia
Just had the Pretzel and Beer and Wine. Did care for the service. You sit down thinking your waiter will soon come to take your order. Then you realize that there is a scanner on your c table. That you have to scan and order and pay all at once. The problem with that is if you would like something else, like anothet Beer. You have to do the process over again. We wont be back.
Ezel Barroso
We chose this place for dinner randomly and it was 100% the right call. The fish and chips were fantastic (the ketchup is on point - seriously), and the hot cider is soul soothing. Melodramatic? Yeah, but for real, give this place a shot.
Ryan Kelley
Filling. Friendly helpful staff. Chill environment. Can have good conversations with those you’re with.
zheng wang
Clam chowder was ok. Lobster roll was good, the raw oyster was not.
Kailey Lacy
Lovely spot by the Sound for lunch.
Outdoor patio seating, with enough space between tables to feel safely distanced from other diners. Staff were friendly and we're all wearing masks.
Food was absolutely delicious, I definitely recommend stopping in to split a bowl of chowder and the crab BLT for a light lunch while walking around Pikes Place Market.
Life in Korea and Places to Go
great food, friendly staff at reasonable price..
Shaun Escrader
Cool spot by the water, I had the Fish n Chips reasonably priced and was fresh and tasty.
nathaniel dread
Food service at the bar was super fast...
Jerry Z
Pros:
- Fresh fish and ocean-y things. Fried fish is pretty good. Fries are surprisingly really crispy and well seasoned.
- Good location with nice outdoor sidewalk seating.
- Good for a quick bite as you explore.
Cons:
- None really
Jonathan Thier
Hole. Lee. Cow. The fried cod here was AMAZING. Ive eaten a lot of fish and chips and this has to be too 3 in Seattle.
James Doster
We were excited to visit after having sampled the place during a tour. Came back to the market specifically to eat here. This is an example where service can make or break a place. The food was OK...I would rate it somewhere between a 3 and a 4. But the server seemed to be very irritated to get us a drink refill and some catsup like we were being very bothersome. We blew it off and tried to be very friendly back but still, I would not return back based on that experience. So food close to a 4, service close to a 2...that is why I'll give this 3 stars.
Jacob Schmitt
Yum! We loved this place. What better than to sit outside, within earshot and smell of the ocean, eating beautifully prepares sea food and watching the sea birds glide? We were glad to escape from the bustle of Pike Place Market and relax over a leisurely meal and something appropriate to drink. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. Food was nicely prepared. The price was a little higher than we usually spend but the meal was a perfect memory on reaching the ocean.
Del Irving
The Bloody Mary was a bit off but everything else was excellent.
Nathan Anderson
Incredible food and incredible service.
Kevin S (xendau)
Halibut fish & chips. It was okay. Nothing to write home about. Highly overrated in my opinion comparing my experience and the reviews.
Drinks were weak too.
Brent Fidler
Great food in an excellent location. I had the salmon burger which was very good. Since this is a tourist district, the prices were pretty high for my liking.
When the hostess seated us she informed us that they automatically add a 20% gratuity on the bill. Our server was excellent and certainly deserved the 20%.
Russ Lund
Very good lobster roll and salmon burger sandwich. Fast and friendly service.
Chris McQuillan
We have eaten here a few times now. The woman behind the bar is always nice and attentive. She was again today, but it sort of went downhill from there. Waiter was okay at first and took our order quickly. The food arrived not terribly long after. We ordered a crab club and a salmon burger which we shared. The crab sandwich was okay, but a 1/4 of it was more or less empty. The salmon burger really was bad. We ate it because the taste was okay and we were hungry, but the patty was almost like paste. It was literally oozing out of the sandwich by the end. The waiter never came by again, after dropping the food.. I was finished with my beer not long after the food arrived, but he didnt ask if I'd like another or how our lunch was. Guess we're done there.
Jacob Scida
Kinda overpriced for what you get, there's better seafood places around Pike Place.
Rick S
I was visiting Seattle last month, and stopped by here for lunch. OMG! SO GOOD! and the cocktails? So fine!
Marisha Humphries
Breakfast there was very good. My kids loved the french toast. I really like the fried egg sandwich with salmon. Note a 20% service charge is included which I really liked. Well compensated wait staff is always a plus for me.
Kerri Clark
Great food, reasonable prices for the area!
Elizabeth Conners
EXCELLENT FOOD and a great table outside in fresh safe air while next to a heater. Beautiful view. At the north end of the pike place market across from the park. Had a perfect lunch. Prices were outmatched by taste. Thank you!
Paige Gardner
We loved this place! Had the fish tacos, chowder, calimari, and crab legs. All we’re delicious and the tater tots were a pleasant surprise.
Sacheen Platten
Excellent food and service! The clam chowder was amazing and the sockeye salmon was the best I've ever had. Our family shared the 50/50 plate of mussels and clams and everyone loved them. Very yummy dinner. Highly recommend!
Jessica Wells
Great little place. Unfortunately was sat inside since the patio was very popular. The selections were limited but great. The tuna melt was decent but if I came again, I'd definately chose my friend's dish of the seafood stew. Jammed packed with all sorts of goodies in a delicious broth. Service was good and fairly quick too.
K Azevedo
Clam chowder is okay...Seafood combo (deep fried cod, calamari, shrimp, tater tots) was pretty good, just a bit salty. Calamari was tasty and cooked well (not overcooked).
Service was excellent.
Ben Olds
Very sub-par. Service was pretty good but the food was just average. As far as the burger there goes, I've seen better patties at McDonald's. Paper thin. The clam chowder was good. However the price for all of this food was insane. Overall very basic for an unreasonable price...
Jennifer Wilson
Gracious service, good wine & beer selection, had the roasted oysters and enjoyed the pickled jalapeño touch. Most especially loved the clam chowder. It had fresh herbs, delicate clams and the cream base was a perfect consistency.
Ansh Khanna
Great food! I ordered the Rub with Love Turkey and it was wonderful. The turkey was tender and was presented great. The food had a nice side of tater tots. One recommendation would be to increase the number of tater tots that they give. The waitress was very welcoming. Overall my experience was great.
Thomás Inskip
Geared mostly to the tourists who visit Puke Place Market. No table service, but the staff was nice. A bit disappointed that the salmon burger was not really a burger. More like a grilled salmon sandwich.
Harndruplund
Both chickenburger and fish'n'chips was good. Though 100 dollars for 4 persons are a bit pricey
Ken D
Great food and very friendly service. Fried halibut was fantastic. Mussels and tuna were great too. Great location.
Bradley Mountford
The salmon burger was delicious. My son kept on asking for bites of mine, he liked it so much. The mussels and clams with chorizo were incredible! I think I could have drunk the sauce from a mug it was so good. We sat outside and the seating was comfortable and not too tightly packed. They also had heaters and umbrellas in case the weather turns foul.
Diane Moretz
Nice location in Pikes Market. Great if you can seat outside. Food was okay. Took a while for our appetizer to arrive. Not that busy. 20% gratuity added to bill. Service was not worth 20% Don't like to be forced into what gratuity I decide to leave. Many other restaurants to choose from in Seattle.
Would choose one of those next time.
Sarah Kern
The best French Toast ever!! It was great way to have lunch with my dad for the day in Seattle I really enjoyed it! I would love to come back again when I am in the area 'cause it was amazing. The customer service was wonderful and I felt welcomed and happy!
James Calabrese
Food was great, Service was great. Had the Crab BLT which I recommend. They have a built in service charge which is fine and they disclosed it b4 ordering. Drinks and atmosphere were the only part knocking it down a star; matter of opinion though! Owner has 3 restaurants there next to each other, check em out!
Mike Atkinson
Great food but not worth the money. Very mediocre service. Also they automatically tack on 18% gratuity. I'm all for paying your employees a fair wage, but I expect to pay the price listed on the menu. Surprise fees are a really scummy business practise. Especially when I'm having to chase down servers to order food, and almost walked out without paying my bill after sitting for 20 minutes with an empty plate and no one willing to see if we wanted anything more or we wanted a bill.
Hudson Kennedy
Most amazing blueberry pie I've ever had. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable
eddie c
Good drinks. Great service. Taylor was an awesome bartender.
Jeannette Lopez
Chicken pot pie, hold the chicken! The crust was delicious the gravy was delicious and that was all there was. Maybe one cube of chicken and a couple cubes of crunchy potatoes and nothing else. We both were ordered it and it was the same for both of us. There is also a 20% gratuity tip added onto your total bill regardless of the quality of service. The service was good so no problems there, I just am old-school about tipping and think it should be dependent on the service.
Pine Iowa
I was just walking in the Pike Market area looking for a place for supper when I spotted this place with inviting outdoor tables. It was a little cool outside by I noticed the heaters so went in and was seated.
Wait staff people were very nice. I asked for a recommendation and tried the salmon burger. It came with a great salad and of course I tried a local beer to go with.
I wasn't really hungry after all that but had to asks what they would recommend for dessert.
I ordered the white chocolate-coconut cream pie with coffee.
Wow, that was delicious! I sat there a long time eating but finally had to admit defeat - I could not eat it all! What a great supper!
A couple more things to note: a 20% service charge was added to the bill (so no additional tip was needed; this had been explained to me before
I ordered). Also with my ticket came a small envelope for making donations to an area food organization for the hungry.
This was a top notch place.
Before leaving I went inside to use restroom and noticed a variety of other seafood choices on display on ice. Guess I will have to try another choice next time!
K. Darrough
Had a wonderful lunch here with my son. They even let us charge our scooters while eating.
Brett M
Great sevice and great food. Didnt load me up with french fries for lack of fish. The fish was on point!
Katie Johnston
This place was great! The staff was quick and friendly. I am from out of town so I asked for suggestions. The salmon burger was incredible. They even gave me a good wine pairing for my dinner. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a true taste of Seattle!
Heather Stanley
We stumbled across this place and took a chance. The service was absolutely wonderful and we ate the most delicious pot pie and the best clam chowder we have EVER had! The presentation was impeccable and I would love to go back again!
Grant Ogilvie
First stop in Downtown, fresh oysters superb crab legs! The fried artichokes were a treat! The bloody Mary's were on par! Great place to start the vacay!
Gloria Sanchez Lopez
My girlfriend is a breast cancer survivor which is who we were visiting from California. As a result of her chemo treatment she is unable to eat we with metal utensils. So she asked for a plastic fork. The server then ran out and purchased a wooden fork, spoon and knife and brought it to her!! It was honestly the most endearing and kind gesture I've ever seen. It honestly still makes me emotional thinking about it. Then he recommended the butternut squash soup and brings me a little sample. Well it was the best soup I've ever had!!! Everyone is just so kind and make you feel your at home at a friend's house visiting! I 1000% recommend this gem of a place!!!
Daniel Munoz
Had a great lunch here! A must go had the chance to speak with tom douglas! Oysters on the half shell were unbelivable! Fresh and delish, my other half had the fried prawns, not greasy and the chowder was smoky and delish!! 8 outta 10 stars!! A must go as the crowds stoll by u got a perfect view! Thanks tom
Sandos Barnes
Chowder was amazing. The Fish taco wasn't good at all.
Phani Kiran Mullapudi
The food is decent - not blown away. But the service and courtesy they have towards customers great. I forgot my mug and they searched for me and called me and returned it back to me. My friend tried fish mongers broth told its pretty amazing
Kellyn Carlson
They have the best seafood breakfast I've had in Seattle. My wife and I visit on every trip. Their bloody mary's are fantastic and the people working there have been there for a long time which is a good sign. You're right at the end of the Market. There are great views of Puget Sound and plenty of walkable shopping around too.
Keith McCormick
Mediocre selection of options. Nothing on the menu stood out. We asked for the waiters recommendation and were told to get the chicken pot pie. While it was a good pot pie, not exactly what you'd expect the recommendation to be at a place with sea in it's name twice. If you are looking for a good chicken pot pie, come here, but if you are hunting for seafood maybe find somewhere else.
Judy Heier
We went there for lunch during restaurant week. I had their clam chowder, and steamer clams. Both were exceptional. The best clam chowder I've had, and the clams with rich nectar was wonderful as well. Had to get more bread to soak up all that deliousness! Highly recommend.
Wyatt Delahunt
Came here with a couple friends for lunch a few months back and had fantastic service. Friends had a couple seafood salads, don't remember exactly what, but they liked them. I ended up playing it safe and got a BLT, but it was still a solid choice. They've got a lot of local beers, so that's a plus too.

Great food, fast service, lots of heat for the outside diners, the Douglases were working the front lines. Tom Douglas has done so much for our restaurant scene, so I'd support his restaurant in any case but - HE DELIVERS THE FLAVOR. No different at Serious Takeout Ballard.
Alex Tran (Schimiggy)
I was super excited about the happy hour menu. The portions are tiny though. I expected that from us tourist restaurant in Pike place market. I'll definitely come back to try other dishes but I'm not expecting a full meal.
G. L.
Excellent martini, great raw oysters and small plates during happy hour were awesome.
Erica King
Best baked oysters ever just saying. We had walk around alot so I was pretty hungry. So I really enjoyed them they were fantastic. I highly recommend
Emma Stroup
It was slower when I went in due to the downpour rain, but staff was still present.
Ordered happy hour mussels. So good! Typically served with french fries, but they served with bread and it was delicious!
Sara N-Marandi
The dungeness crab with fried egg and avocado is divine. Pour over coffee is also pretty good.
Nicole Granucci
Had breakfast here. The food was good. I had two poached eggs with English muffin toast. It was ok. Nothing super special but good. The French toast was super tasty. I liked the crusty outside and soft middle. The hashbrowns were ok. Everything was good. It wasn't show stopping but good place to get breakfast food near pikes place.
Gabriel Pratt
Great seafood. I had the what was recommended that day and it came out fantastically. Nice staff and great view.
Word of warning. I was seated quickly, but apparently this place is popular with tourists, and can get very busy. Probably best to call ahead to see if there a wait.
Paula E
Portions were small but they have delicious food. I ordered prawns and chips, the prawns were amazing and just lightly battered. Very tasty.
Chip Lennemann
Awesome food and atmosphere!!
Keanu Oliva
I came here in between layovers - (I had 9 hours to explore Seattle). My iPhone had died and I was lost. I asked the friendly staff if I could plug-in and charge up. They said yes, they were super nice, and the food was great! Nice vibe in the restaurant.
Demetrius Gainer (Meech)
Tuna Melt was really good.
Arun Nair
Highly recommend the salmon burger. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
GolfPro
Food was great, service was amazing. (The very nice food runner gave us some NA drinks on the house. Not sure if I should say this... shhhh.)
easy 5/5
Nikki Hart
The service was wonderful, but the food was lacking.
Charlie Young
Had their breakfast, fantastic! Great prices too especially for a north easterner.
Art Hogarth
Really wanted to like this place....ordered mussels for the app...a little overdone butcher spicy broth was amazing! Full of flavor and was a nice pairing. The linguini and clams were good...loads of clams but was missing some flavor...kinda bland. The Short ribs...well...were charcoal briskets, black on the outside and well done on the inside. Lacked salt, and had no seasoning. The gravy was watery and lacked any flavor. More like a beef soup but lacked even the faintest beef flavor. The carrots and taters were overdone and mushy. I ate 2 bites and didnt touch the rest. Cocktails were meh. Yes a tourist spot...but still nothing worth repeating.
Kristi Bruno
Enjoyed their salmon burger with the house salad. Absolutely delicious. Small, but solid beer and cider selection. Food was great, but the fantastic service put it over the top to a five.
Sunny Yang
Can't say I loved it. Service was great but maybe cause it was empty. Definitely on the pricey side. Didn't feel like a great seafood place but they have their selections. Food was mediocre at best. Feels like a place I'd try and never go back again. 20% automatic service charge for first timer.
Danielle Bangert
Chowder had too much bacon in it overpowered the seafood
Jazzy Flowers
Visiting from Chicago and comparing to our foodie scene this place was great. The Bloody Mary was on point with pickled carrot/cauliflower/celery garnish and a hint of pickle juice in the mix. The ahi poke was very fresh and light while the chicken pot pie was perfectly seasoned and warming! Ambiance is relaxing and the staff is friendly!
Maria Perez
The staff is nice and friendly, we had the crispy Alaskan cod tacos they were good, I know I would like them even more if they were on a tortilla and not a taco shell.
Angelique Coleman
Great customer service and great food. The shrimp was very fresh and delicious! Their coconut cream pie is also definitely delicious.
Kendall Larsen
Hostess was a little rude and forgot about us. No big deal, 20% gratuity mandatory is a little off putting, but understandable for a tourist location. Our waiter was kind and helpful and the food was great. Service was a tad slow, but for a Saturday at lunch it was very reasonable.
Keith
Went for brunch on a Saturday morning, enjoyed the heated patio. The dungeness crab and fried egg sandwich was good, and my girlfriend's ginger bread french toast (large portion) was great. Great view but a little on the expensive side especially for breakfast.
Malcolm Omond
Great food and service. Exactly as described easy to sit and enjoy simple authentic food. Driven by high quality local produce. Team of service staff are friendly and efficient. Well versed in what they are serving and well able to judge what people need, tailoring their approach recommendations and service to the individual tables. Will go back for more dinner food and am tempted at the idea of breakfast.
Mario Alexander Gonzalez
Good food, great presentation.
Oliver Peckham
Dinner at the Seatown Seabar was a lovely experience. Service was quick and all of the food was delicious. The waitress made excellent recommendations, and while dinner here won't be cheap, the prices are fairly reasonable for seafood, especially given the location.
Elaine Willis
Wonderful service! Our server, Dan, was friendly and helped me decide which foods I would like since I am a picky eater. They use spices on their potatoes which were different, but delicious.
Rap Payne
Location can't be beat. Sidewalk Cafe with a view of Pike Place Market. Super people watching. Unfortunately the so-so food with the high prices make it a merely good experience. I kind of hate it that they force you to pay a 20‰ tip. It's automatically added to your check.
Adam Quirk
Great clam chowder! We grabbed a drink and had some chowder while waiting for seating at The Pink Door. Staff was great. This is a good place to hang out and grab a quick bite.
Dale Bruce
It's better than anything in the Midwest, but there are better seafood restaurants in Seattle.
Elisabeth Olivieri
Food is really good. Very pricey. Service needs work. There is a automatic surcharge added to every ticket that is used as the gratuity for the servers. I don't know about the other wait staff, but my server wasn't rude, but seemed like he could care less.
Monique Maynor
Delicious Tom Douglas restaurant seems a redundant thing to say. I had the crab cocktail and a cup of chowder, which made for a delectable lunch without breaking the bank. Nice view, great staff, lovely time.
M C
Great cider in a beautiful location.
Mary Larrousse
Nice combo of traditional diner fare with PNW specialties. A great food option if you're touring Pike Place and don't want to come to an agreement about what to eat - plenty of comforting foods.
Adam de Boor
This was the only TD restaurant we hadn't tried yet, and I wish we'd come sooner. I had a really nice chicken pot pie (I don't normally like chicken pot pie). It is dominated by the bar, but the service is good, the soundtrack is good, the location is good. It's all good.
Paul Varner
We were originally planning to head to Lola but as they had an hour and a half wait we were recommended to check out Seabar. The food was pretty good but the portions were smaller and our overall bill was higher than at Lola. Still good food and the atmosphere wasn't bad.
fake name
It's fine. Nothing bad really. But nothing striking that leaves a mark to me. Decorations are made to placate tourists and they do put their own nautical twist on some food and drink; but the latter seems to fall short in execution. Nonetheless the breakfast was very tasty, and a modest portion. They do also include 20% service charge in lieu of tips which I love! I would do four stars, but their dill bloody mary was terrible, lol. I would suggest more peppers, garlic, and vegetables mixed in so it's not just v8 with ground up dill. Anyways, I would take my grandparents here but not my friends in their early 20s, if you get my drift.

Great flavor in the breading and well cooked. Tater tots great! Chicken sandwich very good, and cod tacos roo!
JP
Good food. Good booze. Good views. Good vibes. Friendly staff.
Justin Haaga
Solid seafood options, nice draft selections.
Troy Kraus
Had the Chowder, for nearly $13.00 felt portion was small for a bowl, was served in a paper cup. It was good clam chowder.
Jim Rosengarth
I came here for the Dungeness crab, egg, and avocado sandwich. I was not disappointed. This is a quaint establishment (read small) located on the north corner of the famous Pike Place market. Very nice bar, and decent views of West Seattle across the sound, beyond Victor Steinbrueck Park. Portions were small, adequate for lunch but at dinner prices. I only wish I had time to sample more choices, as the menu sounded delicious.
Rezwan Azad
Ordered seafood stew and wild salmon burger. Stew was great but burger was nothing extra ordinary. Good that they include 20% gratuity in the bill so you don't have to think twice.
Syniah Cortez
Great Service! Food was delicious 😋 Highly recommend Dungeness Crab BLT 🙌🏽 Our waitress was the best, super attentive and friendly. Definitely will return to this spot when visiting Seattle!

Came over for our anniversary for the second time and it was not disappointing ! The server was great and the Caesar salad is to die for! Remembered the place from like 7 years ago! A little expansive but worth it!
Dale Steinke
The Tom Douglas restaurant features an eclectic seasonal Northwest seafood-focused menu (along with meats from his neighboring Rub With Love Shack) and an extensive drink menu. Local beers. Lots of wine to choose from, including some high quality choices on tap - ask them about them. Try the smoked salmon collars if they're on the menu.
Jose Gonzalez
Great sandwich! Kyle was friendly and provided great service.
Brad S
Was awesome. Oysters were very fresh and had a variety available not to mention the shucker did a great job not one piece of shell inside. Best dungeness crab I've had, better than the one i tried at Ivars. Beer selection is good and the staff is awesome.
Minh Vu
same as Long John Silver's with triple $$.
Zach Hope
Wonderful experience! Decent prices and their salmon burger was phenomenal! Well staffed and everyone we encountered was great. Looking forward to coming back soon 🙂 …
John Vasholz
Went there because a friend had a gift card. Food was fine. Service was good. Wouldve chosen someplace that didn't feel like the typical tourist spot you'd expect by the market otherwise
James Robert Turk
Staff was helpful and friendly even with the often transient walking by screaming nonsense. Indoor seating available but sat outside. Fantastic food.
Judy D travel_andbeinspired
Food was amazing. Outstanding customer service. Wendy gave us awesome recommendations, and I'm glad we listened. We will definitely stop here again next time we're in the city.
Pu Zhang
great view of the street next to the ocean. Overpriced and the clam chowder tasted too sour.
Lorrie Seay
Great food and great service. We have been here twice this week for lunch and dinner. Best place we have found.
Paul Agne
Nice little seafood place, right off of Pike Place Market, Seattle, Washington. Good food, drinks. Moderately priced, outdoor seating, great service. Friendly staff. 5 Stars. Highly recommended. Great spot for people watching.
Sue Reynolds
Super friendly staff and great food. I accidentally left my stainless steel drinking straw there and when I went back hours later the wait staff had set it aside for me. Highly recommend.
Lakota Cordell
Good food, prices are a little high.
Did not have fried food that day unfortunately.
Kirsten VanderWaal
Had a great breakfast here! Menu had about 6 or 7 breakfast options which is nice sometimes not to have 4 pages of options. The biscuits and gravy were yummy!
john juan
Great lamb pot pie with a light crust unlike any other. My wife loved the salmon burger and her pickle reminded me of the Catskill kosher summers. Great job Tom D.
sokobros
Had a few tables outside which was nice. We had a good meal. Bacon cheese burger, salmon burger and fish tacos ... all fresh and delicious.
Mark Floyd
Fantastic service, and the salmon burger is delicious!

Following an unsatisfactory experience at Etta's next door, 1 of 3 TD locations side by side at Pike Place, my family and I strolled over to Seatown where we had no reservations and were given our preference of an outside table immediately, despite them having a near full house of customers wining and dining on such a lovely Friday evening as this. Our server was very friendly and patient with our (mainly my own) indecisiveness! The lamb pot pie was simply outstanding! Pie crust was done very well and mouthwatering chunks of lamb filled the pie, along with some mushrooms and peas and an equally savory sauce inside. My brother ordered the Tri-Tip Beef, which was also rather delicious, but left him still a bit hungry when all was said and done. It came along with the same salad that was paired with my pot pie as well as my mother's salmon burger....not the most diverse or complex side salads, but tasty to say the least. The salmon burger, more of a salmon cake instead of a slice of salmon filet in between buns, was fulfilling and seemed to satiate my mom's appetite for fish. Having forgotten about my initial appetizer order of Ouchi oysters, the server brought them out at the end on the house after I remembered placing the order finally before being distracted by my pot pie. Prior to this dining venture, we had never been to Seatown before, and I must admit, it left a great impression on me. I will definitely be sending many more out of town food lovers, TD sycophants, and any ol' Joe looking for a good meal to Seatown! Bravo once again TD!

While the prices are what you can expect in a touristy place, the food and drinks rose to the occasion. The seafood was excellent, but surprisingly the cheeseburger was a real sleeper on the menu--very good.
Erin Awesome
Ordered the cheeseburger with tots it was fantastic. The pretzel bun was SO good, the tots were seasoned perfectly and the burger was just what I wanted
Danielle Schmitt
tried oysters here for the first time. My waitress was so helpful walking me through the 'how to eat them' and let me sample a bunch of wines before I found just the right one. would definitely recommend this place.
Abel Ariza
Great fish & chips and the clam chowder was hot, creamy and teasty, was great to eat there!!!
Benjamin Kluge
I had a wonderful homestyle breakfast.. (Seatown Breakfast) with biscuits and gravy on the side. The Bacon was from the German deli down the street(thick cut and YUMMY) and the Bloody Marys were to die for.!!!
Ian Mationg
Great service at this place. Came for the famous dungeness crab breakfast sandwich and was not disappointed. Certainly lived up to its hype. Highly recommend. Oh and the coffee is excellent as well!
Andrew Swartz
We had the turkey sandwich and salmon burger. The salmon was just okay and subpar for the price. The turkey was delicious. Side salads are a different (with beats?). Prices arw most likely for those in the market area in hunger mode.
Will
Decent food. Very nice staff. The chowder portions could be bigger but it's so good!
Golchehr Noshirvani
The location is nice at the heart of down town and close to market and port, there could be a longer waiting time. The staff are friendly. But food was salty for me. The salmon burger was OK.
Russell Grigsby
Friendly staff. Great food. Fun ambience.
Matthew Hess
My opinion is that they have the absolute best fish and chips in the area.
Alex Roots
Great service, food and view!
Damian Balinowski
Worth the wait. We had cod tacos and crab bacon biscuit sandwich Nd both were delicious.
Lili Hartounian
Service was great and super friendly. Food was good. I had the crasar salad and hubby had the ribs. I tried the ribs, it was slightly sweet but it was terriyaki and I still enjoyed it. Great ambience and we will come back.
Michael Chang
I enjoyed scenery, and outdoor seating of this place. Out of 5 dishes, 2 of them were too salty for my taste. I would skip breakfast with sausage... and linguini.
Randy Brown
We were a party of 5 , seated pretty quick, considering it was lunch rush and location. Service was very good Food excellent as well. Job well done. Thank you
Noah Klein
Had one of the best bowls of clam chowder there.
Great service with a beautiful view of the bay.
I can't recommend this place enough.
Ryan Funkhouser
This place is phenomenal. The wait staff was excited and attentive and the chef was amazing. She actually came out to check on us and provided her recommendations. Best kept secret in Seattle.
Ryan McGavran
The food is great. That said, my reason for the three stars, and I will say this was breakfast and early, the staff was not overly friendly and it diminished the meal.
S H
Nice ambiance and great good
Meg Lineweaver
I would go here just for the hostess and the waiter! They were so warm and welcoming. The food was great and it’s such a cute place near the Market. Bigly recommend!
Tyler Vyazmensky
Tried and True. No frills good fresh fish all day everyday. If you want seafood, come here, you won’t be upset :)
Kirk Anton || Heat Transfer Warehouse
Great atmosphere food is really good
Kemmer Davis
At first we all felt that the menu was boring and i think we all just craved something different. Still ordered and the food was amazing. I had the salmon burger and it was bomb dot com.
Mike Tratnik
Not bad, got there late so the chowder was luke warm but tasty regardless. Skip the crab BLT, my friend's clam linguini looked awesome.
Denise Caffey
Best Salmon burger I've ever had.
Michelle Huntley
Food and service were both very good. Recommend making a reservation to sit outside. Wonderful place for people-watching brunch.
Jonathan Lee

The best! Berry Cider Beer w/seafood combo and smoked catchup!!! OMG!!
reidaldrich
The food and service was good. We were told gratuity was included in the price. Maybe I misunderstood but when I had 20% added on top of the menu price I felt some sticker shock.
Pam Chaplin
Waterfront restaurant near Pike Market. Loved the Albacore Tuna Melt and the cheap happy hour wine prices. Great service.
Yasmin Clinton
The breakfast here was great. We had the Biscuits and Gravy, Muffin Sandwich, and the eggs and sausage. Put this place on the list for breakfast one morning.
Tommy Simmons
Great atmosphere and food. Our service was first class. All 6 of us had different meals and all of us were happy.
Jason Rowe
The food here was delicious and the staff very friendly. This is located right on the market place which makes it an ideal spot to relax and grab a bite. Check it out.
Claire Reynolds
Perfect place for a casual lunch with a great view of the market and the sea. A bit pricey, but totally worth it. Good location, great flavors.
Allen Gray
The crab, avocado, cheese, and egg sandwich may be the best sandwich ever and the oysters are the freshest in town. Great service too. Love this place.
angela williams
Great atmosphere, beer and drinks. Staff is super friendly. Try the crab blt or the turkey sandwich, best I’ve ever had.
Lauren Wagner
Not bad, but not that good either. I got a mediocre bowl of soup and a fairly good beer that ended up costing me $24. If I could do it again I would choose to spend money elsewhere.
John Arwine
Small, casual, limited menu. This place is delicious and the servers are friendly. Outdoor seating is available when the weather is nice, I'm glad I discovered this place.
Jesús Monge
A bit too expensive for what it's being served, but servers are friendly.
jack krupski
Thanks Mike for your generous hospitality on a snowy night. Food was great. Crab fresh and tasty. Seafood stew was excellent. Your company exceptional.
Procoro Flores
Beautiful ,nice and friendly employees...great food to....😍👌👌 …
Tom
Great salmon burger. Excellent cocktails
Leopold Marx
Alaska cod was great but the oysters were small for their price. I would stick to ordering fish.
Chris Gianos
They add 20 percent but don't include it in the menu price. It is clear that is their policy though. If that is the price be upfront about it and add it to the menu price. Expensive and food is good but not great. Service was good.
Jami Attleberger
Amazing food!!! My husband had the chowder and I had the Crab eggs benedict!! We highly recommend their food and the service was phenomenal.
Shannon Giannetti
Amazing Brunch. Good atmosphere. The Congee was SO good. Service was great. Location is fun across from the market. Delicious cocktails.
Emillie Rose
The chowder was delicious. Service was good. Would like to try the oysters next time.

Great place for small bites. Had the freshest tuna poke ever! Right by Pike Place, outdoor seating with a great view of the Seattle waterfront.
Mitch Nolze
The food was good, but it seemed a little overpriced. The service was friendly and we didn't have any complaints; it was just a little underwhelming. We'll give it another shot!
Andrew Tang
Not the chowder I was expecting. Wasn't bad, but not the super creamy type that I was looking for. Good thing there's a chowder shop literally on the next block. Nice view though.
chad Bunton
Great Seafood place in the heart of the market. Wonderful service. A little heavy on the wallet, but location is perfect. Great place to take out of town guests.
Trevor Tan
Very good food.
Richard Stewart
Good food, way to expensive for what little I got.

Very tasty fried fish, fresh oysters and an open, airy patio. How could it be anything but good?

Harsha Sharma
Okayish food. The servers are on their toes since it’s in a pretty busy location.
