Reviews of Pizzeria Credo
It is always a pleasure to visit pizzeria Credo and the food is so mouth watering. I have to order the Ala sata and the linguini Alfredo every time. The owner also makes a delicious infused oil that you can eat with your pizza. Everything is made fresh right there in the front of the restaurant for everyone to enjoy the food masterpieces. They work hard and create a personal experience. The restaurant is so relaxing and pleasant to eat in.
Excellent! Maybe it’s just me, but we’ve had a hard time finding GREAT pizza in Seattle. Until now. Credo is the spot! Proper Italian wood fired pizza oven, and both classic and creative flavor combinations. Killer crust. They have pastas and other dishes if you want to branch out. Atmosphere is dark and quiet, with ambient music in the background. Perfect for dine in or takeout. Love this place and can’t recommend enough!
Friendly staff and great personal pie pizzas. The pizzas are gourmet and go fantastic with their spiced olive oil. It’s a small staff so best to be patient when placing an order for dine in or take out, the food is well worth the wait.
Delicious wood fired pizza! Their house spice infused olive oil is a perfect little addition to your pizza. The staff is friendly and even though the restaurant was full everything came out quick and beautiful.
One of the best pizza we ever had. Highly recommended and must try in Seattle. Don’t miss dipping the pizza with their special olive oil sauce. Yummy.
Fairly new pizza joint that does great crusty delicious pizza! We walked in, and it felt like all the waiting customers were staring at us. I couldn’t tell if they were sitting and waiting for pick up or what but the music was quiet and it felt really awkward. They couldn’t seat our party of eight so they split us between two booths in the back. Really enjoyed the pizza but the portion sizes are not huge for how expensive it is.
*Gluten Free Tip!!* One word: Incredible. It is almost impossible to find wood fired oven baked pizza in gluten free form, and these guys nail it! Delicious!
Best pizza I've been able to find in Seattle. Very authentic Italian menu. The wood fired crust is perfect. Their salads are delicious. They use produce that is so fresh a flavorful.
The owner is friendly and takes time to joke with our 3year old daughter and it makes her day!
On weekends, plan ahead and enjoy the pleasant cozy atmosphere with a glass of wine while the make your order.
Pizza was spectacular. The dipping oil was great as well. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because I felt like the wait staff was trying to rush me out. Still polite though!
Excellent woodfired pizza! Wow on the linguini Alfredo & pizza oil dip! Good service, super friendly sever and chefs!
Pizza here was soo good! Def my new favorite place!!! I recommend the mushroom pizza and the bolognese pasta! Customer service was so good and they were all so friendly :) the environment and atmosphere felt so homey and authentic
Amazing Italian style pizza!☺️ Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, clean restaurant and comfortable seating. Called ahead and had a table saved for us since it was a weekend and I wanted to make sure we could be seated, we were greeted with an adorable reserved sign. Pizza tasted just as great reheated as a midnight snack too.
The owner came and talked to us and was very friendly. All the pizzas were delicious, my favorite one was the Tartuffo Pizza. Would definitely recommend!
Best pizza in the US!!! Especially the half calzone, half pizza one. A must try for anyone visiting Seattle!
Our favorite wood fired pizza in Seattle!
Very clear why they are award winning.
Jacques and his team always make us feel like family.
Pasta and salads are delicious too.
We loved our sci-fi helper Linguini!
We love Pizzeria Credo. As a fan of DDD, it is always fun to go to Credo and figure out where they chose to shoot the show. Chef and owner, Jacques, is a warm and caring host. I love the Margarita Pizza and the chili oil provided for dipping the pizza crusts is fantastic. My wife loves the Penne Vodka pasta. Highly recommended!
Delicious pizzas and excellent service. We had a great time hanging out here.
I don't often post reviews, but this place had the best margherita pizza I have had in the US. It was as good or better than those I have had in San Francisco and in Italy. Highly recommend!
Good pizzas freshly baked from wood burned oven. The service is excellent. Warm and welcome restaurant. Definitely will come back to check out others dishes on the menus. The owner is very friendly. Thank you.
Loved the vegetariano pizza and the Alfredo pasta (vegetarian, white sauce). A fancy house spiced olive oil was served with the pizza. Free street parking available nearby on an adjacent street (free 6pm onward on weekdays, Sun full day). The service was good and staff was friendly.
We visited Pizzeria Credo last Friday night, on a date as a party of 2.
We were quickly greeted and seated next to the kitchen area (we got there just before the line begun to form). The atmosphere was very casual and music was not loud, and our server was really friendly and professional!
The food were memorable, and we fell in love instantly. We ordered spring mix salad to nib on while we waited for the mains. The salad was not over-dressed and slices of apple added a nice touch. Good light start to the night.
We ordered classic linguine with the white sauce, and Del Golfo pizza (pictures included). Linguine was so cheesy and yet not overwhelming, the noodles were right on being al dente (you may not like it if you like the noodles to be softer). Del Golfo was also a home run for us. It was not greasy, dough was soft and the crust was crisp at the same time, all the ingredients mixing well together, it was really delicious. For both dishes we agreed that none of their food was salty or bland! It was spot on for us. It was really good.
The parking situation is of course not ideal. We were lucky to find a street parking spot around the corner on a Friday night. There is no dedicated parking for the restaurant, but at least it is free of charge to park on the street.
Definitely recommend this place as a good wood-fire grilled pizza restaurant, or just italian in general. Good place to take your date to as well (desert places are within walking distances).
Decided to stop in and support a great local restaurant. Can't miss the woodfire oven through the window. We definitely had our 6ft space to enjoy prosecco, burrata, a margherita pizza, and two desserts.....oh so delicious! The owner and staff are friendly with a variety of wonderful classic Italian dishes. Definitely will be back!
Pizza is superb, the char was perfect, done in a brick oven!
I had the Marinera pizza with a ceasar.
It's a quaint little spot, not overtly big, which is good.
A bunch of inspirational quotes on the wall, it's well designed, in my opinion.
Wow, this place dishes up some amazing flavor on their pizza pie! I ordered the Con Carne and was brought a very scrumptious meal. Pizzeria Credo does not have ranch dressing, which I asked for, but really the slices were great on their own. The bartender and chef both provided an excellent dining experience.
Incredible pizza. Always awesome staff and service. Great vibes and atmosphere. I’ve been going here fairly often for the last 6 months, I love it!
Phenomenal and authentic European-Italian style pizza. It's a very cozy and comfortable place to get some authentic Italian food, perfect for dates. Was incredibly impressed with it, and they give you real olive oil to dip your pizza crust with. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, relaxed, and a no rush atmosphere.
It's Dine-in and Take-Out only, they don't deliver. I only say this because they are busy and short staffed, and the poor guys had to answer the phone to several people in a row asking for delivery.
Give this place a try, there aren't many like it in Seattle.
There's quite a bit of competition in West Seattle for pizza. That being said Credo manages to carve out an exceptional niche for itself. The low key atmosphere is just dripping with genuineness. The owner personally brewed a single serving of ice tea for my partner at her request, and that personal touch is evident in everything they do here. The care and pride he took in his work is genuinely refreshing in a world of razor thin margins.
As far as the food, we ordered a pizza off the menu, which could comfortably feed two. The toppings were standard fare for a wood fired pizza place, but the crust... was truly inspired. Perfectly chewy, it invites you to explore the idea of a pizza crust in its purest, most distilled form. Although we were full off just the first pizza, we debated ordering another, just to experience that magnificent crust again.
We also indulged with a serving of the tiramisu, and what showed up was the love child of an espresso flavored cloud and fine Italian silk. We actually fought over the last bite.
There are a lot of places to spend your evening in Alaska Junction, but this place is worth your time. Your stomach will thank you.
If this is not the best Napoletana style pizza in the Pacific Northwest, it's one of the very best. The crust is divine, the sauce and cheese are perfect and the whole thing is finished with excellent olive oil and aged pecorino, in a nod to New York convention. It's delicious! The chef proprietor, Jacques, hails from Marseille. For those unfamiliar with that Mediterranean city (France's second-largest metro), it is notable for giving the Italians a run for their money when it comes to making excellent pizza. This pizza is definitely worth the trip across the Duwamish Waterway into West Seattle District. If you are a pizza lover and you will be in Seattle or you live here, this is a must-visit. Wow! Yum.
Amazing wood fired pizza and delicious cocktail. Try anything they have with prosciutto they slice it right off the leg. Featured on Triple D.
Although the food was excellent, the service was not at a level that I would classify as top tier. Ordered the ceasar salad and parma con uovo pizza. Both were surprising, the salad with how refreshingly simple it was and the pizza for the exact opposite reason. The crust was just the right level of dense coupled with a nicely light marinara. Arugala brought a bright contrast with the creaminess from the egg and the excellent quality of prosciutto. Overall it was a pleasant meal and on the must return to list, would love to explore more of their menu.
The pizza was delicious, we picked it up however and they were a little behind with the orders so we had to wait. But the flavor was definitely worth the wait !
This has got to be one of the best places on California Ave to relax, have a great conversation, and eat delicious food. The ambiance is fantastic, the owner and others that work there super friendly and attentive, and the food is A+. Their half-pizza half-calzone is killer. And it's not just pizza. Incredible meat balls and other great appetizers, etc. I highly recommend making an effort and supporting this awesome resource in AK Junction. I waited way too long to visit this class act restaurant.
First time in West Seattle. We decided to try this place out. I have been to what's considered some of the best Pizza restaurants in the country and this place makes a good pie. Good slightly charred crust that has a light glazed crispness with a slight chew. Our pizza had beautiful cupped pepperonis with a subtle flavor of Chorizo and basil leaves. We also loved the pancetta pasta we had.
Best gluten free pizza in W Seattle. Jack, the owner, is a class act. Love going in and getting to chat with him
Pizza was excellent! Crust, sauce, toppings, oh my. 😍 Not to mention the restaurant was clean, the servers, and even the chefs by the pizza oven, were welcoming, and the space is well used. So glad we went, just sad we didn't do it sooner. We are definitely going back! …
Fantastic flavor profile on our pizza with caramelized fennel, leeks, and sausage! The crust was chewy and tender and delicious when used to mop up their house made spicy olive oil!
I am a pizza lover. Everywhere I travel I try to search the best pizzas in town. I’ve found it tonight. James, the owner, loves to do things perfectly. The pizzas, pasta and wine were delicious. The service is great too. A well deserved 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
It was a very impromptu stop for our dinner and we do not regret it! The appetizer was the best part that both me and my husband loved.
The pizza depends on the pizza lover. My husband isn't a fan of this style of pizza, because he disliked how thin the crust was holding the sauce and cheese. I, however, loved it because that. He agreed with me that the crust is one of the best parts of the pizza.
We will come again.
I want to leave Credos 4.5 stars, but life is only so fair, even in an age when you don't have to worry about your mother answering the house phone and interrupting your Unreal Tournament match on 56k Internet. Now, a bunch of tiny people fit in my phone, and I can dial halfway across the world to talk to them. It's called "photographs."
If you were wondering about Pizzeria Credo, this is the most authentic Italian pizza you're going to get in the Pacific Northwest. Don't come in expecting a greasy crust, like Pagliacci's. This is hand-pressed and oven-cooked, with a variety of exotic and more conventional toppings.
My only reservation is, Americans don't know what Italian food tastes like unless they've been to Italy!
Let me clear that up... My ancestors were Italian, and the real border-wall exists between pineapple and pizza.
Eat at Credos!
Pizzas are yummy but I would make them a tiny bit thicker and bigger as the crust is way too big. Tiramisu needed more moisture as the cookies were a bit dry but flavor was good. The credo salad is good but needs a bit more substance: maybe a tomato, pieces of cheese, more walnuts... Service was wonderful, like the ambiance. Price reasonable. We will definitely return.
Tasty pizza spot in the Junction. Pizza was great, with a nice thin, chewy crust. I would say the pizzas are individual sized. The bruschetta starter was also good, it was very well seasoned and tasted super fresh. The only disappointment was the pasta. We got the spaghetti and meatballs and it was a little underwhelming. The pasta was nothing special and the meatballs were not all that flavorful. Will come back for the pizza, but pass on the pasta next time. Atmosphere inside is nice, with the big pizza oven out in the middle.
As an Italian, the best pizza I've eaten in and around Seattle,
I'll go back a thousand times
MAMA MIA! THIS PLACE IS STRAIGHT FROM SOUTHERN ITALY. ITALIAN PIZZA IS ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ABOUT THE QUALITY OF INGREDIENTS AND LOVE. THEY DO IT so so so RIGHT. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR KID, JAQCUES, I BET SHES ALREADY SO PROUD OF YOU.
Awesome food!!! Great service!! Enjoyed watching the food being prepared. If your nearby don't miss eating there.
We had the Alla Sasa pizza/calzone, the Con Carne pizza, with the Credo salad and Caesar salads. Absolutely delicious! Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Wonderful service, nice atmosphere - I can't say enough great things about Pizzaria Credo! Run, don't walk - your taste buds will be so happy!
There are a lot of pizza places in West Seattle, but this one is THE BEST!!!!! Friendly staff, food is done in a timely fashion, and everything tastes FANTASTIC!!!!
Jacques and Angel cooked up the most delicious pizza I've eaten in Seattle, the Puttanesca. Salty anchovies, capers and olives, with the hint of sweet basil... Delicious! I just moved to West Seattle and can say that pizza alone was worth the move. They were both so hard-working in the kitchen and pleasant to be with. Thank you!
Was just biking through west Seattle - and fumbled into this place. Top notch pizza! Friendly people.
The restaurant has a really nice holiday vibe
Had the margherita and vegetarian pizzas and they were excellent. Only issue was the wait for food.
I heard alot about Pizzeria Credo and wanted to try them for a while. We Ordered take out on a busy Saturday evening and order was ready at the designated time. We tried their Con Carne pizza (San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage, pepperoni & chorizo) and it was a delicious greasy pizza. The ingredients were all fresh. The first thing you notice is that they have a limited menu. They are not like your dominos where you can add your additional toppings, etc. but the pizza was good. It was good quality wood fired pizza. The only reason I reduced a star was cos it was a little too greasy for my palette and my husband who is a hard core pizza lover agreed with that. With additional grease the wood fired base was kinda soggy cos of take out as well. They do have deals (5% off) on and off so do add those coupons when placing the order from their website.
We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The owner was nice, friendly, and made you feel welcomed. The food was delicious! Reminds me of the pizza I ate in Switzerland and Italy. Highly recommend this place, especially for dining in!
Fantastic Margherita Pizza, the Magic Olive Oil is the bomb. Had the apple & walnut salad too. Great staff great food. Must come back!
Délicieux! Great service and firewood Pizza! The owner had made myself and bar mate a specialty Chocolate dessert! All I can say is Yummm!
At $20 for a 12" (increased for West Seattle Summer Fest), I was annoyed at prices, but we were starving.
Pizza was pretty good though!
My partner and I found Pizzeria Credo on Yelp while strolling through West Seattle. The service was above and beyond - extremely friendly, attentive and helpful.
It was fun to watch the chef make our pizza through the window.
My partner got the Puttanesca Pizza. The crust was perfectly prepared and cooked. Toppings were delicious.
I got the spaghetti & meatballs. The sauce was on point and the pasta well cooked.
We shared the Credo Salad and enjoyed it as well. Great balance of all the ingredients, topped with a light dressing.
Overall, top notch ingredients, excellent service and yummy food. We look forward to coming back post-covid!
Good service, friendly people, and good food. I can't have wheat and their gluten free pizza crust is very good. It's thin but not crunchy; it has a nice chew.
This wood fired pizza ina tradition al oven is DELICIOUS and the ambiance is relaxed and romantic at the same time.
Absolutely out of this world. An amazing guy that makes the food right every time. You can certainly taste the apple wood that bakes all their pizza, and their house made noodles are just as exquisite! If you can make it out here, do it. Even if you have to wait 2 hours for food, it’ll be one of the best meals you have in your life.
This place was sooo good! (And i usually dont like pizza) from the salad to pizza and pasta its so delish and their pizza dipping oil is amazing!
Delicious pizza, pasta, salads. Excellent service. Lovely atmosphere. Love the meatballs!
I've lived in West Seattle for years and why have I never gone here before?! My girlfriend dropped in to pick up a couple pizzas of what the staff at the time recommended. One meat pizza, one white sauced pizza and a pear and walnut salad. All the food was incredible... so good that I'm eating leftovers today and writing this review cause it's still so good the next day.
Side note: I know that it's Covid, but if you are able to go in to pick up your food show Credo some love by dropping in and make sure they are getting as much of the cut as possible. My girlfriend shared the man she talked with was incredibly sweet and hospitable. I look forward to coming back in the future.
This place is consistently impressive. The pizza is cooked perfectly and the pasta dishes are all delicious. The wine list has a good selection of Italian wines and the staff is always friendly. The smell walking in is enough to guarantee you'll order a pizza.
I love coming here for dinner, normally stop by about once a month. The happy hour is pretty good, and the pizza is some of the best in Seattle. I also really love the meatballs, my only wish would be that they came with a side of flat bread for the sauce. If your in the area, I would recommend stopping in for dinner. People can be pretty particular about their pizza, but this is my favorite place in West Seattle.
The pizza here is wonderful it is freshly made, and cooked in a wood burning oven. The menu offers wonderful salads and pasta dishes, but I always come here for the pizza. The staff is professional and friendly. The owner, Jacques, has created Pizzeria Credo as a labor of love and it shows. I highly recommend this restaurant in West Seattle.
This place has some of the best pizza I’ve ever had!! The atmosphere is fun, the pizza is delicious, staff is friendly and attentive.
I give four stars because on my last visit a couple of days ago, I bit into my first slice of pizza and I bit into a hard piece of thick plastic almost the size of my pinky nail. I don’t say this to deter you to eat here because it truly was a fluke and completely shocking where it could have even come from. I mention this because I was disappointed that although we were offered to have an entirely new pizza made for us (understandably so as who knows if the rest of the pizza could have had more issues) but I kind of expected to be offered half off the cost of the pizza or not charged at all for something like that to happen. I wanted to email to discuss this with someone but they don’t have anything on their website to contact them.
Either way, we will return as they have amazing food.
There is a lot of pizza in West Seattle, very good pizza. This is not my favorite. A couple of issues: pizza dough was really tough, particularly as it cooled. It got very chewy. The toppings were fresh and seemed of good quality. Second, we each got one glass of water, and had to actually ask for it. Finally, and this is a pet peeve of mine. I ordered a coke. 2.50, seemed reasonable until it came. I got a can of coke. Seriously? This place has a bar! Beer on tap. And cans of pop? One glass of water. With pizza? This was not a great experience.
The Pizza Parma con Uovo is stellar. We felt like we were back in Florence, Italy in a “neighborhood gem” trattoria. Felt honored to be served by the proprietor himself (genuine and on-point). Love all the amusing and inspirational quotes on the walls. Great place to meet up with friends. Definitely coming back.
ADDENDUM: We couldn't stop talking about the pizza at Credo, so we came back the very next day for more!!
This place is great! My pizza was super yummy, the chef gave me some great recommendations, the waitress was so kind. I will definitely be returning
I'M ITALIAN AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT THEIR PIZZA IS DELICIOUS!!! I've been there many times and I'm going to go there other times for sure! Their pizza is so good that after having finished one you want to eat another. They just use high quality ingredients.
It's even better than many pizzas in Italy! The waiters are very polite and kind with their clients, the director is also very nice with us, he makes you feel at home. The price is very good for the food they serve and I've been happy every time I went there. I really suggest you to go there, you'll love it for sure!!
As a Junction regular I feel bad that I only tried Pizzeria Credo for the first time last week. My fiance and I both loved everything from the atmosphere to wait staff. With all that said the best part was by far the pizza. We both loved it and for the price it was hard to beat. I would definitely recommend it, it has a subtle store front so it can be easy to miss when walking around the Junction but is certainly a place we will frequent regularly in the future.
Unassuming from the outside, but actually quite tasty pizza, reminded me of good pizza when traveling to Italy. The dough was the perfect texture and flavorful. Group of 4 got 1 pizza each, with a bit to take home. Favored by both vegetarians and meat lovers.
Amazing pizza and pasta! Feels very authentic and the service was fantastic!
This isn't short because this place deserves a few words! My man and I planned to eat a healthy meal at home but stopped to check out Pizzeria Credo. I didn't realize I was about to have the best pizza I've ever tasted in my life. The pizza chef was incredibly nice and genuine, said "It's like my boss says, if you put your whole heart into it, that's the difference!" Our server was awesome too. You can tell Jacques is very passionate about his employees and his restaurant, for example we walked in as they opened at 4 and he welcomed us in quickly when we were noticed. Jacques is a genuine gem of an individual, and it shows in his food. You don't come across a place like this often, I'm certain anyone would find something satisfying here. The salads looked amazing. Tears may have been brought to my eyes after eating the pizza and havung conversation with Jacques. If you end up here you were meant to kinda thing.
Gluten free pizza! This is the place to go. You can tell the owner really cares about quality and loves food. We have tried a number of gluten free pizzas in the area and this is by far our favorite. We will definitely be coming back and telling friends- fresh, delicious, quality food!!
The food was very good and service excellent. I particularly liked the quotes all throughout the restaurant. I accidentally left my credit card behind and the owner was kind enough to mail it back to me. If you're in the area and in the mood for pizza, give this place a shot.
I am not much of a pizza eater, but when a friend I was meeting for lunch offered to meet at a new Pizza place, I agreed just to please her. But... The place sure was a nice surprise. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful, overall atmosphere of the restaurant is friendly and simply very nice. Definitely will be back!
This is the best kept secret in West Seattle! Their Margherita pizza is the best in Seattle (I've tried them all). If you want extremely overpriced and less than mediocre pizza you can go across the street to Pagliacci, otherwise, Credo has the atmosphere, delicious ingredients, good prices and you can even order it to go if you want to. Their staff is friendly and always provides excellent service. Please support this fantastic local business!
Very good pizza. Lots of variety. Might I say try the meatball appetizers. The decor was cool as well. Nice place for a bite.
Great spot for some delicious pizza. I agree with the other reviews that it's a great atmosphere. The owner asked about us and, when found out we were new, gave us great recommendations for the Seattle area. Food, ambience and staff, all 5 star.
Man this pizza is good. I never leave reviews, but I couldn't not this time. We were searching around for easy but worthwile dinner in our area having just moved nearby...So glad we chose Pizzaria Credo. As a furnishings stylist and one who frequently dines out, the atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but for a local, solid business with something special to offer, this place has it set. (And a full bar, hellooooo.) I highly recommend. Looking forward to trying other options on the menu, too.
Pizzeria Credo went above and beyond my expectations. The food was exquisitely delectable and the service (i.e., the owner Jacques) was tremendously hospitable.
Upon receiving our meal, we were mesmerized by the authenticity of what had been placed in front of us. I am a pizza fanatic and have tried most (if not all) of the top-rated pizzerias in the surrounding area. This, by and large, was a flavorful presentation of a superior caliber.
My olfactory system was immediately overwhelmed by the myriad of aromas emanating from the divine dish that had been placed at our fingertips. Each bite exuded a piquant and tantalizing flavor that was ever so distinct from the last.
Subsequent to our meal, Jacques gave us a tour of the kitchen and provided us with a brief history of his restaurant (that you will have to discover for yourself). Jacques left an impact that resonated with me to the extent that I felt obliged to write this review, something of which I have never done before.
Thus, to anybody reading this – do yourself a favor and experience this exceptional restaurant immediately. It is truly food made from the heart for the soul. Thank you Jacques.
Great pizza in an unassuming storefront in West Seattle! Lots of locals meeting and enjoying authentic wood fired oven baked thin crust delights. Staff applies just the right amount of attention too. Now on my list of go-to places.
We were seated near the kitchen. When the owner checks on your table twice in one night, on top of the server, and speaks Italian to the cooks, you know it's going to be good. It always is, every time, never a bad experience.
excellent pizza! my only criticism would be the canoli needs some help, filling was good but the shells were way too hard. everything else was fantastic, caprese, service was there when you needed, will definitely be coming back!
It was are first time at pizzeria credo and we had a wonderful experience dining there. The wait staff was very attentive to our satisfaction and made very good recommendations on selections. The owner also visited our table and is a very pleasant person. We were close enough to watch the food preparation, it was artful. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Credo's is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in Seattle. Their specialty is authentic Italian pizza with fresh ingredients in a brick oven. You can watch the chef make your pizza right there! My favorite is the Alla Sasa which is a half pizza - half calzone. It's amazing. The service is always great, and staff remembers me when I come in. If you're looking for a unique place with a home cooked feel, don't miss Credo!
Wonderful, locally owned Naples style pizza cooked in a traditional wood fired oven fueled by, yes, olive wood. Every pie is delicious, and their frozen fruit gelatos should not be missed
Their wood fired pizza is amazing! We've enjoyed several and are always pleased. They're good for take out, but even better for dining in, piping hot from the hearth. Their salads and appetizers are delicious, too- especially the Portabella al Forno.
Fantastic authentic pizza with a great atmosphere! Beautiful food presentation and the owner is super friendly greeting every table and making you feel welcome! Definitely recommend
The staff and owner are warm and friendly and the food is great! Some of the best pizza I've ever had! Thank you for the perfect birthday dinner.
Really tasty wood fired pizza. The first time I ate here was delicious. Last time I ate it, I waited too long and it got a bit cold but I can't blame them for that. I think it's a bit on the expensive side but it's good enough to meet the price.
I stopped by here on my way to a friend's house to pick up a couple of pizzas as it was my turn to supply us with dinner. From the bar here, I ordered for us to take home one each of the Con Carne Pizza and the Parma and rounded it out with two salads, a Caprese and The Credo. Each of these items from their menu was delicious, and it served three of us perfectly for dinner. The interior of the restaurant is modern in its motif, but not to the point of feeling sterile. The wine list consisted of numerous respectable choices for accompanying a meal, and reasonably priced. Great food, comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Decent Pizza; Could Improve A Few Things
First, the owner, the chef, and the servers are all friendly. They use extremely high quality flour, sauce, and cheese for their pizza; the chef let me watch him work, and I use the exact same products in my own pies. Major props for not cheaping out.
The end product was decent and the prices were reasonable for the quality. It beats the pants off of Talarico's (which is awful but, somehow, wildly successful) simply by way of the ingredients and the wood-fired pizza oven.
My suggestions would be this: drain your mozzarella -- the pizzas come out too watery; don't overwork your dough (it was too tough and glutinous); try "frying" your basil leaves by drizzling olive oil and salt over them and then throwing them in along with the raw ingredients; add a little sugar and some more herbs to your sauce.
Definitely swing by and try one of their happy hour menu specials and see if their quality impresses you enough to give them your business.
Very delicious the food and the pizza was my best I get chorizo and pepperoni I really recommend 👌 The personal super friendly amazing clean and fast. For sure I'm back 🍕
A groupon brought us into this quaint, homey little restaurant where we were surprised by the amazing, friendly service and fantastic pizza. We ordered wonderful drinks that were mixed expertly and Jacques, our server, provided us with great suggestions. The food was promptly brought out and even though we came in just before closing, we never felt rushed. The pricing was very reasonable, the salad and pizza (half parma, half cinque formaggi) were great and we loved the feel of the place. We will definitely be returning and suggesting that others try Credo out. Believe!
Great pizza, good service. Their oil blend is great on pizza. Tried fennel, leak and sausage was great. Then had vegetarian with pepperoni was excellent. Presentation and service was good.
Really great gluten free pizza
Service was spot on, Pizza was great, the dough is always solid and the toppings, while at first may seem odd for certain pies, are almost always good. Meatball appetizer was good not great, but the sauce made up for that.
The only thing that was bad was my server. he seemed new and not quite knowledgeable. I ended up making, not a bad choice, but not the right choice because of him. He talked about the menu and what he likes as if I were ordering from a McDonalds. Positive note was it seemed he was trying and talkative.
The other servers I witnessed were great and spot on. I was greeted at the door by one of the cooks and the lead the chef was out and chatting with customers between overseeing the kitchen. The presentation for all the plates I saw in the restaurant was decent and they looked and smelled amazing!
Hopefully that one server learns quick. I will be returning as I want to try more of the menu
They get their flour for the pizza dough from Napoli ,Italy . That explains the lightness of the crust, fired in a apple wood Pizza oven. Incredibly THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD, I mean it was Stellar fresh mozzarella like made in the back fresh peperoni not to greasy with the edges crisped up to perfect, fresh basil, mushrooms
and lets not forget the sauce base. I was greeted by the chef making pizzas he said they close at 10 and asked if I knew what time it was I looked at my phone and "it was 10", I said. That's when he asked if I wanted a Pizza. I didn't want to be a bother since they were closing ,but he insisted. I took a seat at the bar while my pizza was being prepared and I met Frank he came out of the back with utensils for the front house Super nice guy . I really didn't want these guys to stay late and asked if I could get it to go, Frank said, oh you have to eat it here it's the best like that. He was so right.
Jaques brought me my pizza when it was ready and offered me some spiced infused olive oil for my plate I accepted , It was very good aswell. Come to find out Jaques is the owner he asked me how the pizza was and I told him , I'm not going to lie to you but, this is the very best pizza I have ever had. How long have you been here I asked , he replied 2 yrs only. I could not believe it, usually it takes a place a long time to get their sources for ingredients down to this kind of science . Everything was great , the service the food , the atmosphere. They had great sayings on the wall too very positive messages we all should live by. If you are in West Seattle and are hungry you should stop on in and grab a bite. Jaques is not just the owner I consider him a friend now and to think if I wasn't house sitting for a friend in West Seattle I wouldn't of ever had this Amazing pizza and met these Great people.
This is a special place, you all need to come in and meet these people and try their food. You won't be disappointed they have pride in their restaurant
Best wishes Jaques stay positive
I think this was the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Lovely staff as well. I can’t wait to come back!
I really enjoyed the marinara sauce with the meatballs and pie. Also, the crust with the pie is soft and chewy which I like. I drove over from Mercer Island after finding this place online, and I'll return again.
Very nice pizza, thin crisp base, good quality toppings, pleasant un-fussy service, good value for money. Also an absolutely banging pie shop round the corner if you have room for dessert. What's not to like?
Food was ready as promised. pizza was good not great however I loved the crust.
Amazing food & service!!! Gnocchi and bolognese was incredible. Delicious homemade pasta and amazing humans. 10/10 would recommend!!
Amazing food and service! A gem in the junction that doesn't get the foot traffic it deserves. I recommend stopping in and trying this place out. The owner is a super nice guy who obviously cares about his guests and quality of product. My family always has awesome food when we come in.
I have been to Mozzeria in San Francisco, Pizzeria Picco in Larkspur CA. Here, I had Con Corne pizza and Credo Salad with Pinot Gringo. Great pizza and flavor sauce are awesome. I definitely am coming back and recommend you to come here and eat their wonderful pizza!
We ate at Credo last night, our tenth visit to this cozy pizzeria. The Potato Gnocchi in Vodka Sauce was fantastic, as was the Shrimp Al Fomo. Jacques and his staff are friendly and attentive.
Pizza was high-quality and delicious. A bit cheesier than proper Neapolitan but quite satisfying. Service was good. I'll go back.
This pizza is unbelievable. The dough is exceptional, the sauce is the perfect, and the cheese on the Margherita is fresh as hell. I would eat here again in a heartbeat.
Great pizza! Great atmosphere! The owner was very friendly, the service was perfect! One of my new favorite places to eat in West Seattle!
Love this place. Great service, amazing pizza, good environment. Owner is usually there helping out, really nice guy. It’s a must-try!
Oh. My. GOD. This is some of the tasiest pizza I've ever had. The crust is so absolutely perfect! The bruschetta is fantastic and perfectly flavored. Eat here!!! Yum!
Pizza Con Carne = great chewy crust, flavors all very fresh. Will definitely be back. All the staff super nice.
Just got the empanadas and they were too oily and not too much filling. I'll have to update the review after having arepas. Also make sure your meter parking has enough time bc you will get a ticket!
Great drinks, great sauces, great ambiance.
Great food (tried the Cesar salad, pizza/calzone, meaty pizza, and 5 cheese pizza, apologies for the non-italian terminology) great service, and they made my birthday celebration personal and memorable. 10/10 would recommend.
Best pizza in Seattle! Great pasta as well. Owner is super friendly, it’s everything you want in a restaurant.
Great pizza, amazing spicy olive oil drizzle, and FANTASTIC bindi chocolate tartuffo for dessert. Plus great service! 10/10 do recommend!
Great pizza! Lovely people!
I have been to many pizzeria's but this is one of the best places in Seattle. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area. It's quite family friendly oriented and I haven't been disappointed yet.
I enjoyed the pizza at Pizzeria Credo. The woodfired flavor with the fresh ingredients made for good flavor. Their drinks are served up beautifully.
Top notch. Possibly the best crust of all time, with sauce to follow. Wonderful atmosphere.
Love the pizza best in west seattle no1 in all of west seattle according to seattle times
It is a rarity to find cupped pepperoni. The pizza was amazing, the pasta was excellent and the prices are lower than most Seattle eateries.
Napoli style pizza, try the Con Carne it’s perfect. The funghi polenta is also very good. Very European style where diners are encouraged to linger and visit.
Just fantastic pizza. Make sure you use some of the pepper olive oil that should be on your table. The Parma con Uovo and Del Golfo were fantastic.
You're spoiled for choice when it comes to pizza in West Seattle. This might be my favourite place, if only for the puttanesca pizza - sweet, salty, wood-fired heaven.
Great pizza and the family that owns the place is great! love to support them and their quality service/product
My new favorite pizza place, great service and atmosphere and the food is delicious!
Delicious, simple pasta! Great pairings if you ask Jean (sp?). Definitely one of my favorite spots on the Junction.
Awesome food! So yummy and the owner Jacques is a really nice guy. Pizza is the best in the area for sure.
Try their pasta, those are not on the menu but its one of my favovite pasta ever in this state, also best wood grilled Pizza in town. highly RECOMMAND!!

Great food and amazing service. I come all the way from south just to eat their pizza. One of the amazing restaurant in west Seattle.
Unbelievable pizza- the owner is walking around handing out the pies interacting with everyone. We stayed downtown Seattle and made the drive and it was well worth it.
The food is incredible! Our favorite restaurant in West Seattle! If you visit soon, ask for the chestnut soup! It will change your life!
Best pizza served with a smile in this cozy West Seattle dimly-lit joint. The spicy olive oil gives me life.

The pizza is really good. The other dishes were good too, but the winner here was definitely the pizza.
This is the kind of place that will treat you like and old friend or family and make you feel special while serving fantastic and high quality food at reasonable prices. Relax on an easy nite out or bring the kids. Love!
Great dough. Great pasta. If you believe in cheese, don't order the marinara pizza.
I live almost 4 hours away, and I would drive here just for the amazing food, service and atmosphere

Every bite took me back to Italy. The crust has a soft and crunchy texture with the perfect amount of tang. Best pizza around!
(Translation) Friendly restaurant in West Seattle, moreover run by a Frenchman! Beyond this wink, the welcome is warm and friendly, the pizzas are excellent, as are the pastas or the Caesar salad (a culinary freshness bath during these American holidays 😊). We went there twice during our stay. And we will definitely go back there next time!

(Translation) I found this place wonderful. There was only the owner who is also the head chef and an assistant cook. Due to the problem of getting employees, the two of them did all the work. The food was very good, the service was slow but they made up for it very well. Congratulations for your effort.

(Translation) The place was quite clean, the tables were clean, the kitchen employees looked very hygienic, the waiters were very friendly, the pizza was delicious, I really liked the place, it was very comfortable, I would definitely take my children again
