Ordered the meat platter with brisket, pork, and ribs and mild and medium bbq sauce. The meat was INCREDIBLE (the brisket was my favorite) but the sides (mac and cheese, cornbread, chili) was just ok. Recommend only ordering the meat. Has a nice counter to sit at if you can get a spot, and nice service.

I had the mac bowl with hot links. Now, I'm pretty particular when it comes to sausage and especially mac 'n' cheese. Compared to some really good BBQ joints I've been to on the East Coast, the mac was pretty mediocre and the sausage was good, but not incredible. I sound like I'm being harsh, but really the food was tasty, just the bar for good BBQ is really high. I'd give the restaurant a 4/5 for the food I ate, and a 2/5 for location because it's crammed into Pike's Market and there's not much elbow room. I've bumped up my rating to a 5/5, however, because their service is truly exemplary. Not only was the staff friendly, but while I was eating someone who appeared to be down on their luck (probably homeless, but I don't want to make assumptions) sat down after the line at the register was cleared out. The cashier asked them if they wanted something to eat, and asked if they wanted some mac with it. This didn't seem like a one-off thing, it seemed like they regularly help people out with the food left over after the lunch rush, and that put a smile on my face. The people who work at Pike's Pit are great humans.

Have been Pikes Pit - B - Que twice and both times just enjoyed the all different types of savory BBQ they had. Everyone is really friendly and full recommendations on what to eat. Would totally recommend this place for Excellent BBQ.

Great little BBQ spot right in the middle of Pike's Place Market. The meats were all very good. Selection is decent. The DAMN HOT bbq sauce wasn't, but it did taste good with the sweet potato and beef. Will stop in again after I try a few of the other places in the immediate vicinity.

Great service and decent prices. They have a few diner style counter seats available which are a nice rest for a weary walker after spending time walking around Pike. Food was very good, I had the brisket and ribs with sweet sauce, and coleslaw and potato salad. Will definitely come back again.

Overrated place. I figured I had to try it while in Seattle. Got the chopped pork sandwich with mild sauce, which according to the menu "has a kick". Unfortunately it had no kick and no tang whatsoever. Completely bland meal. My brother in law was disappointed too.

Love this BBQ and their pulled pork sandwiches but wish there were more seating because Pike Place is so incredibly packed with tourists, it's hard to stand on the street and eat BBQ. And in the summer, it's very very very HOT

I'm editing my review so I can thank John and Andrew. The owners should know that those two are awesome employees. I'm sure you already know but today I came early had a large order for work and they had me out in 25 minutes. Everything was labeled and packed perfectly. i truly appreciate not ok only the quality of the the food but also the customer service and yes the mac n cheese is great to . I have had the: brisket, hot links, chicken and ribs. It all rivals Texas where my son went to college. I'm a huge brisket fan and I've bought it by the pound and on the sandwich. It's fall of your fork tender. The spicy sauce is my favorite and the cole slaw is amazing. As far as limited seating I always take it to go. It's a must eat spot in Seattle. .definitely try their ham special if they have it

First off, this place is fantastic. I love BBQ food and have been to restaurants all over from the deep south, to Texas, St. Louis, and Chicago and this is totally in my top 3 favorite places ever. I stumbled upon the market itself walking around Seattle and since I'm allergic to seafood (bummer), I figured to stop in and see how these guys did BBQ. I got the #1 with beef brisket, bacon, slaw, and pickled veggies with some potato salad and a Coke. The food itself was delicious, staff was very friendly and helped me find some shops downstairs to visit. The entire vibe of the restaurant and market is great. If you're looking for something other than seafood, this should be your first stop.

This place is AWESOME! Great food. Great staff. Tried the sliders and a side of links so I can get a bit of everything, and it did not disappoint. The cashier was super helpful and offered me a sample of the hottest sauce before ordering it. It was tasty but a bit too spicy for me. The man and woman preparing the food were super fast and kind. Definitely would recommend and will eat here again 🤙👏

I had the BBQ Bowl with the beef hot links, beans and slaw. Unlike some BBQ places, the sides were given equal attention in terms of freshness and flavor. I truly enjoyed every bite. Definitely check this place out.

I was a regular, i always ordered the same thing. 1/2 lb whole beef lean and a potato salad with a lg side of damn hot. Grabbed a half gallon of chocolate milk next door. Good times

Got through grubhub,delivery was good and timely, now for the food..ribs were pretty good but the rub was to chunky,sauce was nice and kinda spicy, the actual rib was good but a bit dry. They have great smoke dont see the reason for so much rub for little baby backs. Also got the potato salad it was actually pretty good. Now for the bad,got the mac n' cheese and it was dry and under cooked. The only thing I would strongly discourage anyone from getting is the corn muffins, truly terrible. Tastes like paste with plastic bits

Customer service is incredible and every employee that walked by asked if everything was good or if they could get something. Top notch customer service.

I come here for lunch during work once or twice a week. The people are always so friendly and having fun even when the crowds are huge. They will make your food delicious and fast if you’re in a hurry, but will also set your place at the counter if you want to stay. Love it here. Did I mention the food is delicious? It is! Only my dad makes better BBQ. :)

It may just be because I have lived in the south my entire life but the pulled pork sandwich was not as flavorful as I am used to it being that being said it still is just as messy so if you do get that make sure you get lots of napkins. Good Macaroni and cheese. Definitely want to try some of the more items on the menu.

WOW!!! The best most tender beef I have ever had! The sauce is amazing! I got a slider and then wished I would have gotten a full size sandwich. My husband's sandwich had so much meat on it and shared his. If in Seattle you have to try it! It's worth waiting in the crowd.

A great BBQ place although for the life of me I can’t figure out what regional BBQ style they have. The chopped brisket and pulled pork are mouth wateringly tender and flavorful. The sliced brisket can be slightly dry. Best potato salad within a 15 mile radius. Prices are decent for what they are.

Picked up a double-smoked ham for Thanksgiving this year, they had the best ham we've ever had. We used every bit of it including the ham bone in a split-pea soup they provided a recipe for. It was fun to pick it up at Pike Place where we could wander the booths and see the views, even being at 25% capacity.

Wonderful BBQ - not much seating, but we managed to have good timing and got a few seats as others were just leaving. Extremely friendly and attentive staff - our young daughter said that the (mild) sauce was too spicy for her and one of the staff overheard and offered to make a sandwich without sauce for her on the house. Very messy, but excellent sandwiches, would definitely go here again!

My family and I were hooked after sampling the chopped pork while we were wandering around the Market. It was early in the day and we scored 3 empty stools at the counter. I enjoyed sandwich #1, the Pike "Spike It", a chopped pork & beef hot link sandwich. The service was friendly and fast. I would recommend this little gem.

The husband and I both had the large sandwich with brisket and the medium sauce. We were both pleasantly surprised at the heat of the sauce which was robust with a nice bite at the back and slightly sweet. The service was fast and Olivia knew her stuff. We stopped here for lunch on a trip to Pike’s Market. My friend had a pork taco for $3.50 and I had a bbq pork sandwich for $9.50. My pork sandwich had tons of pork and a great medium hot bbq sauce I requested from the three choices of mild, medium and really hot. My friend’s pork taco was filled with lots of delicious stuff and also the medium sauce. Both were excellent and are highly recommended! We will go here again next time we are here!

Ohohohoh, yes. Finally a good BBQ pit in Seattle. I had the Chopped Pork Sandwich, hot, as a little teaser into their menu, and I am far from disappointed. It was perfectly tender with smokey burnt ends that crunch you into satisfaction. The sauce was sweet and tangy, some of the best I've had, maybe not as hot as is advertised. Though in my opinion it is the perfect amount of heat; enough to make your nose start to sweat near the end but not so much that you just want to finish the sandwich to get it over with. The mini me was enough to leave me very satisfied. Their service was fantastic as well; I recieved the sandwich nearly immediately and they were all very friendly. I highly recommend visiting, I'll certainly be coming back frequently.

The best option for downtown that isn’t limited to a 3 hour window. Great pork and chicken BBQ every time we swing through and while the crowded area sort of suck, it’s Pikes and as such is to be expected. The spicy isn’t too hot either so if you like the hotter types of BBQ make sure to get the hot.

BRISKET SANDWHICH WITH SPICY PICKLES SOOOOO GOOD! What a great sandwich. I had sliced BBQ brisket with spicy pickles on a bun. it was their small version but not small at all. I had a side of Cole slaw, which wasn't anything special. very dry, not like the sandwich. that was awesome and with a Dr. Pepper to wash it down, very good. They have lots of choices for your sandwich, might have to go back and sample those too.

My card was broken so Monet paid for our food. We ate at the same place by the waterfront that we had eaten at earlier. I had a classic bbq pork sandwich medium spicy. It was delicious. I think David got the super spicy pork, because when he was eating he got the hiccups. I asked him why, and he said it was really spicy, but that it was good. We didn't see the bird that scared Dexter, also there was no sight of the pigeon with the missing toes.

Quick service and polite staff, Pikes pit is one of those restaurants that makes you wonder how vegan people exist. The food is served at a fair price and is DELICIOUS if you are in the area, this place is definitely worth your time.

Really good BBQ. I went here for my 18th birthday and I was not disappointed. I had been looking for a good bbq place when oncoming on by b-day. After the whole world seemed to think it needed a break after the 4th of July, we went to the place in Searle where no one sleeps. Pike place itself is hectic And fast. Luckily this store is right near the front. The pricing is a little bit off. I got a few ribs that were rather small for 2$ each and an 8$ leg of what must have been some monster of a turkey. By the end I was despite enough for some fiber that I bought some way overpriced fruit in the same hall. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. PS. it was amazing tasting and I could not have hoped for better food that day.

Absolutely killer bbq. I went with the medium hot brisket sandwich, side of smoked mac n cheese and pickles. Medium hot def leaves some heat, but nothing crazy. Mac n cheese is great, creamy and smoky. Pickles are sweet with a little kick - they brine them with ancho chilis and it works. Staff is awesome too!

Wir hatten (in mehreren Besuchen) Ribs, Pulled-Pork-Sandwich, Brisket-Sandwich (chopped), Brisket-Sandwich (sliced): alles lange gegart, hervorrahend abgeschmeckt und einfach nur köstlich! (Translation) Just fantastic! We had (in several visits) ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, brisket sandwiches (chopped), brisket sandwiches (sliced): everything was cooked for a long time, tasted great and was simply delicious!
