Great food and great service! Lots of good vegan options too!

Tasty fried chicken & friendly service. Still some kinks to work out. Fries weren't the crispiest, but they have a variety of other sides.

Good service, burgers were tasty, spicy lemongrass mayo was awesome with the fries. Burgers were small tho for the price.

Ox Burger is a spinoff of the restaurant "Taurus Ox" - the latter of whose "Lao Burger" was so popular, the owners decided to create a separate burger spot for it — nestled in Capitol Hill 3 blocks east of Cal Anderson park. I went on the last day of their soft opening.
While the menu is vast with several options to choose from (custom options too!) I came for the one and only lao burger ($15). The taste was exquisite - extremely juicy and definitely hit the spot. I also got the ox fries with the jaew bong mayo - to me they felt a bit small for the price ($8). I'd skip those next time and just go with the burger.
Soft serve is also an option but I didn't get any since I was so full! I paid $44.90 for 2 Lao Burgers and Ox Fries (incl tax/tip).
If you're in the area and are interested in trying a new burger spot, this is the place. The Lao Burger was very unique and I can already picture myself coming back in the summmer months to try tue soft serve.

I was so sad when Taurus Ox left and am now so happy to have the crew back close to home with a little brother restaurant. The burger serves as the star of the show at Ox Burger and is as delightful as ever.

This place was great! The food was tasty and we left very full each having one burger and splitting an order of fries. The prices were pretty average for a casual restaurant on capital hill
