Randomly stopped in here on the weekend and loved it! Staff were super friendly and the Lisa's hot mess burger was tasty, who knew peanut butter would go so well on one?! The onion rings were one of my favorites though so definitely give them a try!

This place is amazing! We ventured here looking for a great burger and found that and more!!! Their fried pickles are the best we've ever had! The burgers are fantastic (especially Lisa's Hot Mess). And on Saturday nights there is Bingo, which is a ton of fun!!!! Overall, the owners & staff are amazing and we highly recommend Otter Bar!

Went here for brunch and found out they were doing a drag brunch that day! Staff was so friendly, food was good, and the drag show was amazing. Definitely planning on going back again, for dinner and another drag show! Lisa was so friendly, going above and beyond for staff and customers. $5 mimosas! $25 for bottomless mimosas!

Came here on a Saturday night around 5:30 pm and found that all tables were empty but the bar tops were full! Was looking for a sit down burger spot and this one came up. We got the Lisa's hot mess and the build your own burger - These burgers were delicious perfectly cooked and juicy! I loved the fries that came with the burgers they were large and fresh and I didn't find any small un-edible crispy bits. I would not have thought that peanut butter, bbq sauce, egg and bacon would go well together but they shockingly do! The service was fast and friendly and we were in and out within the hour :) I have been searching for a solid burger for a while and we cant wait to come back.

Their burgers = oh my God. Their wings, excellent, their grilled corn, hell yeah! So far I've tried every single hamburger on their menu and none have disappointed which is impressive. They're one of the few places left on Earth that actually put salt on their patty while they're cooking it. It's a miracle. Everything is fairly portioned, the beer is ice cold and the cocktails are strong. In top of that, the owners are attentive and kind, as is the serving and bartending staff! If you have enough room left for it make sure to try the milkshakes!

I’m new to Seattle and wanted to try out some local eats near me. Otter was on the sleight one night and it did not disappoint. Lisa’s Hot Mess was the recommended burger from our awesome and super-fun waiter, and it was capital D DELICIOUS. Truly up there with the best burgers I’ve had, and my very picky partner agreed—the food was fantastic. Good vibes and great food.

Good burgers. Delicious tater tots, and sweet potato fries. They have outdoor seating available. They don't serve breakfast/brunch menu after 2pm. I ordered a chicken burger. The chicken was soft and juicy. Liked the burger buns as well. The star item were tots, and sweet potato fries. Note to self : Don't order the onion rings again.

Otter Burger was fantastic! One of the best Gourmet burgers around. The ambiance is great, very warm, fun and welcoming. They also offer a pretty sweet patio in the back if you want to sit outside. The onion rings were perfect cooked, the breeding was delicious. The wings Sweet Thai sauce was very taste. The burgers are juicy and packed with flavor! You can have one of their pre made famous creations or you can build your own burger. They have so many cool options. You can get things as simple as Mayo, lettuce, and tomato. Or you can go crazy and add bacon or pineapple flavor jams, ghost pepper, and much more! They are very covid safe from what I’ve seen. Thanks for the great time Otter Burger. I went for happy hour, and the burgers were tasty and they poured me a nice glass of beer. The area is pretty big and spacious, plenty of TVs, wasn't too busy when I was there. The staff were extra nice and turn on the TV volume for me when I was watching the masters. I thought the burgers were decent size. I would definitely go back.

Didn't even know about this place but came away loving it. Mainly because of their Nashville hot Benedict. It was amazing, especially if you like wings. The atmosphere is nice, large space with high ceilings and fun little bar. Very good brunch menu, looking forward to coming back and trying something new!

Big tasty greasy burgers and craft beers and cocktails. Hit's the spot if that's what you're looking for. Staff is very friendly and service was fast. Love the decor/theme, and if it's game time they will have baseball/football/etc. on one of their many TVs. Sides, like fries or rings, cost extra, the garlic parm fries are pretty good. Best burger option in Eastlake for sure. Parking is available either on the street (free, 2 hour) or across the side street (paid).

Had a great last meal with my daughter and four of her friends from UW before heading home for the summer. I really enjoyed the fish and chips and others loved the different burgers. Appetizers were also fantastic as was the craft beer selection. Can't go wrong here for a great 'Better Than Pub Fare' meal!

Really amazing burgers but more so amazing customer service. We came in in a game night and were finishing up as they started getting busy. There were only two bar tenders / waiters working but they were both so fast, so genuine and warm, and made the experience really lovely. Thanks yall!

Great vibe. Came here for trivia night and it was a really fun time. Food was great too. I got the Diablo burger with fries, but even the regular burger was juicy. Beers are a plenty as well. Really fun place to go to!

I love this place in EastLake Avenue and when I’m over to visit my friends we always stop by for beers, burgers and fun. Lisa and Jim the owners are great hosts. I tried many things on the menu and Lisa’s Hot Mess is a fantastic burger that has some Dutch elements. Furthermore, they have an excellent choice of beers and great cocktails too. If you are in EastLake than you should visit this place!!!

I love this place. The staff are super friendly and the owner is very welcoming. The salmon sandwich is my favorite. It's a great spot with a good tap list and an excellent seasonal bar program. I recommend sitting at the bar and grabbing a drink and a few appetizers!

Semi busy Saturday night. Food was good though my lamb burger came out a little over cooked. Service was attentive without being bothersome. My buddy had a shake and veggie burger that he enjoyed. Wish everyone would go back to hard menus rather than phones but that’s just me. I especially like a tap list rather than a waiter rattling off a bunch of names I can’t hear. Lots of friendly people around and seats inside and out. Of note: dog friendly inside and out so if you don’t like that you are warned. I’ll come back try other items next time.

good food and drinks and they have some interesting alcoholic milkshakes. They could definitely benefit from a larger selection of drinks though. Their burgers are great but a little small for the price. Their loaded tots on the other hand were incredible and a huge portion.

We decided to come here for brunch since we had learned they were recently broken into and wanted to support! The brunch was pretty good, I think the portions were a little small but I think all restaurants have cut back. Our waitress was very nice, although a little pushy on us drinking, (but it is a bar) but I felt a little uncomfortable not ordering alcohol (it was 10am) and just ordering water. Everyone else I came with ordered a drink and felt a little pressured to. I think she may have caught on and comped one of my friends mimosas. It’s definitely a bar vibe and probably not somewhere I would’ve thought of to go to brunch but it was very reasonably priced and the food wasn’t too bad! I personally wouldn’t come back from brunch, but I would come try their dinner, but if you’re looking for a Covid friendly place I definitely felt safe (we were the only people there the entire time we were eating). Overall I am happy that we came though.

Came here in search for the best fried pickle in Seattle. Boy did we find it! Both my partner and I are vegetarian. The chef came out himself to make sure of our order and made it completely vegetarian friendly for us. The wait staff were nice and attentive. Definitely going to come here again when the craving for a fried pickle strikes!

Don’t order the pound of wings. I just got mine, and it turns out I paid nearly $16 for 7 wings. The blue cheese they sent also tastes suspiciously like sour cream. I’ve ordered other things from them before, and those experiences were fine on average. Very disappointed with this rip-off of a menu item, but I will not be ordering the pound of wings again.

I pick my nephew up from school and Wednesdays are eat out days. We've decided to try a new restaurant every week. We're still here at Otters Burgers. I had the bbq beef brisket sandwich. Exactly how I like it. Soft, warm hogie roll and just the right amount of stuffing. I talk about the bun being perfect, because some bbq places serve your sandwich up on a cold, hard, chewy bun. I love Otters, they pay attention to the details of a good bun. Like they knew I was coming. Boy had a burger and tots. He devoured the burger and loved the tots. I had him get bacon on his burger to give to me. I am weird. I also judge a restaurant by it's bacon. Super bacon and super tasty. Lastly, parking was easy, the place was quiet and our server was awesome. Kind, helpful, patient, friendly. We will be back. It's a really good place.

This place is set up to succeed. The new owners have brought in a brand new atmosphere kind of like an extension on to your living room. They bring the small-town atmosphere to the city the food was good the service was good positive experience. I highly recommend checking out the otter Bar & Burger.

Pretty traditional bar that has karaoke on Saturday nights. What more can you ask for? It's a busy place with a lot of people coming and going, but it's a fun place to hang out. Food was really good (I ordered the Black, Beer and Bleu burger w/fries), but I think the burger could use more seasoning. The fries are to die for. I saw a few other comments about the service, particularly the bartender, and while I sorta understand where they're coming from, I also think that people's expectations are a bit in conflict with the kind of place thus is. Let me explain. This is what I'd call super casual. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat where you won't be bothered much, or to have a quiet conversation with someone, this place is perfect. They aren't going to bother you every five minutes to refill your drinks. And that's fine. For some. I actually sat at the bar, and after a few minutes, struck up a conversation with the bartender. Very friendly, from Boston. Personally, I like the service here. I don't particularly like servers breathing down my neck for big tips. Sometimes, you gotta flag down the server to get another drink. And I think that's fine. Please, just start seasoning your burgers more! Also, I wouldn't mind a larger beer selection, some choices with 8.0% alcohol or higher. A Stone Ruination would have been perfect with my burger!

The place was very busy and they seemed under staffed. They had to bring out a guy from the kitchen to be the cover for the bartender, he was trying his best. The manager was very attentive to us, even if she couldn't help us directly. She offered to buy us a round (we had sat at the bar). Our food took a long time to come out, and some customers got their orders before us. The manager gave it to us for free, which made the trip worth it! Thank you!

I have eaten at OBB on two occasions. Both times were amazing. I had a burger both times with a lettuce wrap, awesome fries and great boozy shakes. Next time I am back in Seattle, I would go back. I love how casual the restaurant is and very comfortable to hang out. Super friendly and affordable.

Haven't had the burgers, but I *love* the fried pickles. The shakes are pretty on point as well, including the boozy shakes. The beer selection is what you'd expect from a burger joint. Loses a star because it is a bit overpriced compared to comparable places in surrounding neighborhoods. Overall, not a bad replacement for Louisa's.

This is the neighborhood dinner that aNyOnE might wish for. Most menu items are burgers, sandwiches & salads but they are well made & have Many options for sides . Having a full bar is a plus. Lisa ( hope I remembered your name correctly ) keeps this place going. During the warmer weather, this is an oasis of air-conditioning.

I love stopping by this neighborhood chill spot to grab dinner, have some beers with friends and they have a new list of cocktails regularly. They also have theme nights and live music with a pool table off to the side of the front bar. Friendly staff who care about the Eastlake community. Easy 5 stars

I always feel welcome here. The staff goes above and beyond to build a sense of neighborhood community. I've met a bunch of great new people just sitting at the bar. The food is solid: you can get a range of things from a good salad to a soup or stew to a massive, satisfying burger.

What a treat to have in the neighborhood and not just because they serve amazing milkshakes! The food is delicious and they keep adding more great items. If you don't feel like a jucy, tasty, burger, try one of the many other delightful items on the menu. The tomato soup is great and the fries are outstanding (especially with the house sauce). Their chicken wraps are a favorite with us. And the weekend breakfasts are worth stopping in to try out. Zephyr is a treasure.

A place that has truly listened to it's customers as it has settled into the neighborhood. Since opening, small revisions have been progressively enhancing the place, making it more and more desirable to return more often. We first came in near opening week and had a great time but remarked that it could use some various improvements and each time we've gone back, the whole list seems checked off, like they heard the feedback and followed through. Love the option for the value burger on the permanent menu, making it one of the only places in town with a $6 burger after the happy hours. Looking forward to all the future progression!

Otter recently changed their approach to a bit more of a sports bar. Ultimately, it's a great neighborhood cafe/bar to watch a game or have family night. The food is consistent and delicious, the new menu items are welcomed! No table service, except for in the bar area.

Do yourself a favor and go see Jim and Lisa... They are amazing... The Otter Bar is delicious... The burgers are amazing and the fish and chips were on point... The prize of the day was by far the House made Deep Fried Cheese Curds.. Holy Hell they were Freakin Amazing!!! If you are in the Eastlake or U-District of Seattle do yourself a favor and get in to the Otter... They are worth the trip...

In disagreement with the other Sarah and Tiffany over something trivial (see what I did there) and not being able to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt over a transition (and it being rather unnecessary to give two one star reviews for the same singular minimal issue from the same group of people), I love the food here and can say first-hand that the new owners are hardworking people with big hearts for others around them. I encourage anyone else experiencing the change to give them a chance and let them prove themselves over a larger arc than a few weeks. Positive vibes for this establishment under new management. Perfectly cooked burger and a great salad. The atmosphere is a mix of swanky, pub, sports bar, and cafeteria. An odd mix, but I kind of liked it. Super friendly staff too.
