Reviews of OMEGA OUZERI
Amazing food, superb service!
We had one entree (braised short ribs with orzo) and a bunch of smaller items.
Highly recommend the zucchini fritters and you can never go wrong with the halloumi cheese :) leave room for dessert, they have some interesting flavors
Great dinner with friends. Cocktails could use a little work but the food was amazing. I wasn’t even in the mood for Greek food but this place quickly changed my mind. Service was attentive and professional and there wasn’t a single dish that I skipped. Do yourself a favor Ann’s get the roe mousse. *Drool*
Very happy with their take out option. In these omicron times it was the perfect solution for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. We ordered lamb shoulder, Greek potatoes, chicory Greek salad with feta and broccolini for main dish and amazing baklava for dessert. Everyone raved about the food and it was great to be able to support a local favorite. Best Greek food in seattle for sure!! We will order more in the coming weeks
Photos include oysters (delicious), shrimp spaghetti (average) and whole grilled lavraki fish (also delicious). Not pictured is the $10 hummus with crudités, but it’s a must.
Awesome, expensive dinner. Great place for the occasional fancier date with a casual vibe.
A bit overpriced for the quality and quantity. $27 for 3 little pieces of octopus. The lamb skewer was overcooked. Baklava was overpowered with cinnamon.
The whole cooked fish was really good! The waiter filets the fish at the table.
We went during restaurant week, so the place was busy and the food came out every 20 minutes. Our waiter, Justin, provided great service despite the slow kitchen.
The staff here are friendly and sweet. They all have a great sense of humor. Our waitress was a bit slow but she was extremely busy so it is understandable. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating with open windows and doors. Feel pretty safe to dine here during the pandemic.
We had cheese, oysters, whole sea brass fish, and green. They were all delicious. No complaints about the food. Went there for a date night so it does somewhat felt a little romantic and has nice vibes.
The service and food are consistent, always amazing quality of ingredients and perfect service. The olive martini is unique and divine. The octopus unforgettable.
Amazingly delicious and authentic Greek food. The owner/chef was super friendly. I daresay this food was a religious experience.
Delicious authentic Greek food. The fish was very fresh and flavorful. The staff was friendly and they even gave us a baklava as a parting gift 😊
Great meal and very nice service. Tried several of the appetizers (the halloumi was particularly good) and the octopus: I was very satisfied. For dessert, the olive oil cake: amazing.
Have been here a couple of times and always looking forward to come back.
The food wasn't bad, but I can't call out anything that would draw me back to Omega Ouzeri. Authenticity wasn't there, attention to details lacked, and the overall atmosphere was rather dull.
Hummus and pita are amazing, but others seem mediocre and sort pricy. Overall experience isn't too bad.
Omega Ouzeri’s food was delicious! My friend and I got hummus, hortopita, grilled broccolini salad and grilled lamb kebabs. I feel like every dish was balanced: not too heavy, plus brimming with different flavors and textures that worked together.
The only thing that would have made this a 5-star experience is if they had a heater at their outdoor patio. Maybe they didn’t expect it to be that cold when we went, but it’s something worth bringing out or preparing for guests during F/W.
We had an incredible meal at Omega Ouzeri. We were a party of 5 and we ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts. I was immediately impressed when I ordered a glass of wine and our waiter told me he would give me a taste because it was complex and not everyone appreciated it. I didn’t like it and ordered another wine I really liked. From there on each dish was delicious. Our waiter and other wait staff were wonderful. The grilled octopus was a standout, but each dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I’ve been here on several occasions and love it each time. It’s one of my go to restaurants. The food is fresh, high quality, and flavorful. The menu has good variety and changes every so often so things stay interesting. Highly recommend eating here for any reason - party, date night, regular night. Beautiful space and wonderful service.
Love love love the food here. The chicken was amazing, the halloumi was perfectly grilled, warm pita, and great dips trip. Yum yum yum!!!
Service was amazing. We had a saganaki (fried cheese) style appetizer. The cheese was a little strong but still very good. My chicken dish was perfect...I love lemon and the wide noodles were delicious. My wife loved the lamb...although she regretted wearing a white shirt which she splattered with red sauce. 😄 …
The food is absolutely stunning, I have never eaten this quality of Greek food outside of Greece. Every single dish is beautiful. The ambiance is simple, and elegant. Now, the only thing was the service that was a bit disappointing. I’d still recommend the place, and will be back.
RESTAURANT WEEK!!!
My favourite grilled octopus in town. People there are very nice and great dating vibe.
Love their greek salad a lot, fresh tomatoes and great combination with the oliver oil and seasoning sauce.
Support local great restaurant!
Great service and atmosphere! Loved the warmness of the staff and their description of dishes - almost like poetry. Unfortunately no vegetarian main course items.
THEY GIVE YOU THE FULL GREEK EXPERIENCE. GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE
Absolutely fantastic experience. The food was high quality. The wine was delicious. The service was friendly. And the ambiance was lovely. Absolutely worth a visit. Or many!
Great place! Service was excellent. Our hostess (named Sarah I think?) was very patient with the group I went with, as we were very indecisive when it came to ordering. She was also very helpful in recommending what each person might like to order.
I got the seared chicken breast entre and it was amazing. Huge portion size and I was stuffed by the end of it. Could barely finish it.
Greek food with a large focus on wine. They have nice patio seating and a good vibe inside. We sampled several dishes and had a great time. Only issue we ran into was that our server would disappear for long times. Then we noticed he was standing around at the back of the restaurant drinking several glasses of wine. I understand that servers need to know about the items they serve but it took us almost 3 hours to eat here. It seemed like it took an hour to get the check! The food was pretty good and I would try this place again.
Hands down the best Greek Restaurant I've ever been in Washington! Amazing service! On point Staff and open kitchen where I can see the Chef to give him thumbs up!
Happy! Happy! Joy! Joy! We love the food, the wine and the service. Parking was easy and the ambiance was perfect for a family dinner of 6. We look forward to our next visit!
1st time here. Very clean, open, new and inviting space. Menus are Greek influenced and moderate selections with a few meat dishes. Staffs are friendly and attentive.
We ordered the pita with hummus, carrot salad, optoctapus, lamb and the chicken. Everything was well prepared but the star was the lamb. Extremely tender and packed with flavor every though they are all small bite dishes.
If I had to pick one disappointment it would have to be the carrot salad. Just carrots ave I didn't get any sweetness that usually comes with carrots.
Wonderful service...nice, attentive and knowledgeable. They accommodated when we asked and the atmosphere was really nice. Potatoes were inconsistent in dinners but delicious, salad had a wonderful dressing, and the Trigger fish, while slightly overdone, had a great texture and flavor.
Just had dinner here, and though I expected it to be good, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was!
We started out with the hummus and cauliflower fava dip. I am quite particular about my hummus (a trip to Tel Aviv spoiled me for American hummus...), and this one was extremely creamy. The pita bread was fresh and served hot! I actually liked the smaller portion size for the bread, as it made it feel less heavy. My parents had the other dip (I couldn’t try it as it’s topped with spiced lamb and I’m vegetarian), but my dad cleaned the plate entirely (like, sparkling clean).
I had the chickpea fritters to follow (basically like bite sized falafels), and the consistency of them was perfection—totally melted in my mouth, and wasn’t greasy at all. I can never pass an opportunity for halloumi (the cheese that grills!), so had that as well. The rhubarb and walnut toppings, along with the olive oil, added a great flavor to the texture. The asparagus salad was super fresh, dressed with tart tzaziki, and although it was a little salty for my taste, I still enjoyed it.
My family also loved the lamb & beef meatballs (and I loved the sauce beneath them!).
For desert, I had the beet-coconut sorbet brownie—super dark, satisfying, dense chocolate with yummy caramel and coconut flakes.
We sat on the 2nd floor and really enjoyed the ambiance, as well as the cozy vibes, good lighting, and the fact that the music was quiet enough to still carry a conversation.
Would definitely be back to try more menu items!
Omega’s brunch is seriously on point. The food is excellent and unique compared to the rest of the options on Capitol Hill. The service is incredible - the staff is knowledgeable about their wine selections, super friendly and good at the banter but not too chatty either. If you’re familiar with the neighborhood, you know getting brunch generally comes with a long wait and at Omega you can walk in and get a table. This place totally deserves to be as busy as the redundant New American joints all over Seattle but I have to say I am happy it is my little secret for now!
Stunning Greek food in a gorgeous setting. The perfect summer lunch/dinner destination! Definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back!
Fantastic place: staff is very friendly and food is just awesome and authentic. We were a group of 6 and shared all entrees: all were excellent. Reminded us of our last vacations in Greece. Try the wine i post a picture of.
I loved this place. I’ll tell you why. The food is fresh innovative and tasty. I went once for lunch for Seattle restaurant week and came back for dinner another day. My favorite thing was surprisingly the salad. There was a very fun and wide variety of different greens that I usually don’t get.
Very friendly staff
Ordered trio dip. Tzazitki dip is the best I've ever had, hummus was decent and the other kopanista something was subpar... I'd go again for the friendly service and if they have more non meat options..
Wow. Food was gorgeous. Stand outs for me was the tropita, Haloumi and Baklava. Service was great too. Run, don't walk.
Service is a bit slow. Good pita bread. Octopus is nicely grilled but over salted
Amazing food and ambience. GrilledHalloumi cheese, the eggplant dish (forgot the name :/)and chicken orzo pasta are soooo good!
Had a good experience, a little pricey but the food and service are good.
You’ll spend some $ here but the food is 🔥. Must try red pepper hummus, pitas are crazy good, great quality feta and oil. Also unique alcohol options if you’re into that.
We ordered takeout & everything was so delicious! Especially the Halloumi! & even the potatoes. Please support this biz!
Delicious food, outgoing ambient and very kind service. They have amazing entrées and good vegetarian options.
Was there for Seattle Restaurant week. The food and the wine pairing were so so good. The halibut main course was incredible, as was the lamb. I am not usually a dessert person, but the dessert and the paires wines may have been the highlight of my evening.
We had such a lovely time at dinner tonight. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious and plentiful. We absolutely over-ordered, but we have zero regrets, and a heap of leftovers for the next day! The warm pita bread in particular just blew our minds.
Light, open space. Great flavors of Greece both for food and extensive Greek wine list.
So consistent, which is a remarkable accomplishment during a long pandemic. We have been in five times in the last year or so, and the staff is like a well-oiled machine, the food is always terrific, and you can feel the love that the owners have put in.
Great Greek food in Capitol Hill. Food was an excellent blend of traditional flavors with a modern twist address here and there. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Will most definitely be back!
Great food. I went for restaurant week deal for lunch. Tzatzaki and Fava bean was very good.
HIDDEN GEM
one of the best restaurant in Seattle
Very nice location
Fantastic and authentic Greek food with a twist of modern techniques and taste that make every dish a surprise
Wine list is weird, very few well known winery but a lot of very good wines
Waiters are very professional and prepared, their suggestions are gold, follow them!
I have been here multiple time and they never disappoint!!
A must try
Love going to this place. Been there twice after discovering them. They do update their menus so keep a watch. I enjoy eating their greek delicacies and pleasantly surprised by the large number of vegetarian options on the menu.
My favorites so far inside Squash pie, triada platter for the appetizer, halloumi cheese entree amongst others. They have a good selection of wine and other alcohol options from Greek including Ouzo.
You won't be disappointed with their desserts as well.
Make your reservations before going, they do end up getting busy.
The food was fantastic. Very fresh and flavorful. A bit expensive for the portion sizes but we enjoyed the experience.
We recently ordered a large To Go order for a family gathering and the food was out of this world. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, the pork melted in your mouth and the sides were devoured and fought over. They had forgotten to include a side of potatoes and the chef personally drove them over with a free dessert-- you just don't find this type of service these days. Definitely going back to eat there in person soon! This place is now on my speed dial.
Amazing food, drinks, wine, and service. I was with a large party eating family style, so I got to try almost everything on the menu, and it was all delicious and perfectly prepared. Well, except the octopus. I didn't try it because I won't eat animals with advanced cognitive abilities. Lamb on the other hand are cute, but dumb and delicious 😋
Dishes are served family style, so you get the opportunity to sample many different dishes! We were with a large party of 10, so we tried sea bass, octopus, chicken, lamb and an assortment of bean dishes with different beans and salad dishes. All was amazing.
Ideal for ordering and sharing several small plates at a very reasonable price. Staff was very friendly and ambiance is on point.
Came here for restaurant week and really enjoyed the experience. By far the best pita bread I've had possibly ever and they managed to make it better with some of the best tzatziki sauce I've had as well. We had the lamb and octopus and both were quite good. My only wish which is something not limited to Omega is that restaurants do something other than potatoes ever single time with their red meat. But really small complaint for a place that managed to land the appetizer, entree, and dessert.
Me,my husband and my kids had one of the best meals ever.Justin was very kind by suggesting the best entrées.Definitely coming back soon.A little pricey but definitely worth every penny. The ambience, the drinks, the food and the server all get all the 5 stars.
Thank you Justin for being so kind
Very good Greek food. Menu is small but they offer various different option. Good wine list with plenty of Greek wines
Dinner was fabulous! Hummus, meatballs, artichoke, salads all super delicious and easy to share!
This is actual Greek food! It was exactly as I, or better yet, my mum would make it! They do not “westernize” the flavors nor the style of cooking. So whatever you taste is actual Greek food, cooked greek style. Octopus was the most tender piece I’ve tasted in a while. Make sure you order the mpougiournti, the fresh fish (imported from the Mediterranean Sea so I can’t find it that easily on my own). Try also the kolokythikefredes…the galaktopita… absolutely delicious and spot on! Not ultra salty, not too sweet… excellent! The service was also excellent, warm and personable.. as it should be in such a place. Loved it and will be sure to go again soon!
The food here is amazing. So flavorful and delicious. Some of the best Greek food I've ever had. The atmosphere is wonderful. Huge ceilings and not super crowded tables. They also have an incredible selection of Greek wines.
The owners are so hospitable. My son and I drove from Southern Oregon to get our Greek food fix so we decided to have appetizers and drinks at Omega Ouzeri. The 3 dips of tzatxiki, hummus and the red pepper feta were outstanding. We wanted to lick the dishes. The crispy garbanzo beans were a nice texture change on the hummus. It was wonderful having delish fresh oysters and that mignonette was OMG the best I've ever had. I never make a big deal over pita bread bit I would've thought my mother-in- law from Greece was in the back making it from scratch. The grilled octopus was done perfectly, very tender. We enjoyed the beefy heirloom tomatoes in the horiatiki salata. The Gigantes were in a yummy tomato sauce with a surprising parsley pesto. It was so fresh and delish. The lemon potatoes are a must . Took me back to many wedding dinners in Greece. Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ
We went to this restaurant on the last night of a 10 day vacation and what a perfect ending it was. The space is absolutely wonderful, airy and elegant. You just feel comfortable there.
The food was the best we have had in Seattle and possible beyond. The dishes we tried were wonderful so tasty, elegant and vibrant. the Greek wine we had was great and the family style dinner where you share all the dishes is so much fun.
I wish we could take this restaurant back to Boston but even better we will just come back and visit.
I've loved my dates here for dinner and it's the perfect place really not just for the food, but for the atmosphere. The owner is sweet and engaging. I usually order the Greek meatballs, Greek village salad, grilled halloumi, hummus, dip trio w/pita and several flights of grappa or ouzo. Everything I've tried is served fresh and taste flavorful and the service is right on point. I'm so happy I found this Capitol Hill gem as I have not dined here and not enjoyed myself.
Great little place for Greek / Mediterranean food. They've got a nice list of wines, we enjoyed a really good bottle of orange wine with some small plates and the fish. It's very open and a decently casual atmosphere. Staff was very helpful and nice.
If you're looking for real authentic Greek cuisine in Seattle. This is the place you have to try. From their daily fresh line catch to the wine pairings, their menu offers a mouthwatering experience into the flavor of Greece and its Mediterranean coast. Exceptional restaurant, service and quality. Highly recommended!
I came here for my birthday and it was totally perfect. Love the ambiance. The patio seating in the summer is beautiful. The service was great. The wines are astounding. We shared multiple plates. (Note: the saganaki is not flaming, but rather fried cheese balls.) I was hesitant about the baklava because I thought they maybe were hipster-ing it by serving it with ice cream, but it was completely delicious. Definitely, definitely try it. (And they even put a candle in it for my birthday!)
I would give them 3.5 stars, the Zuchinu fritters were very nice. I also liked the Baklava. However i was not much impressed by their Chicken skewers and Shrimp Ouza Sakanaki. The chicken was overdone and lacked flavor and the shrimps were not properly seasoned.
We came for happy hour intending on only getting a few bites and ended up leaving with full bellies. We ordered multiples of our favorites, but it's not an understatement to stay their tatziki is amazing! We ordered 3 servings worth...
Amazing food! Great happy hour prices. The waitress was super kind and easy going but she gave great descriptions of all the yummiest dishes we trailed! Hit this place up!
Once again Omega Ouzeri knocks it out of the park. They've done a great job managing socially distant tables and having outside seating available. The food is fresh and tasty and the service gave us space to enjoy our time. A perfect Saturday night out!
First time in - great atmosphere, fantastic food, super interesting wine list!! Over 100 greek wines!!!
Hands down, the best place to have dinner on the Hill.
I have been here twice now; once pre-pandemic, and recently just the other day.
I love the food, the vibe, and the staff here. Perfect place for a date night, a celebration gathering with a few close friends, or hanging out with a bestie.
I always think that I want to go to Greece after dining here, though I am hesitant because the country is likely not LGBTQ friendly and I have heard it can me misogynistic towards women. Being transgendered, both of these things are important to me, and I was very pleased to find out today as I am writing this review, that Omega Ouzeri is GBTQ friendly and also women-led.
I also can't wait to try their sister restaurant, Vios Cafe!
Delightful food and perfect service. We will be back!
Octopus was chewy and had no char or sear. Meze were good though.
We had fun eating lots of dishes at a private party here. I could eat their fresh pita bread all day long. My favorite by far was the roasted lamb, it was tender and well seasoned and incredibly delicious. I want to come back and peruse the whole menu.
Food was fantastic and we couldn’t believe there weren’t more people there! Excellent selection of wines, especially Greek wines. Service was a little slow but I think our server was new. Definitely will be back.
Love the atmosphere at this spot, it is bright and open, and it feels like you are at your own dining room table. The staff are amazing and knowledgeable about the food. Nice variety of Greek food, some more traditional and some newer creations. The halloumi cheese is to die for, and the whole fish preparations are exquisite (also fun because they debone them at the table!) The ouzo selection is excellent, with lots of different Greek offerings you may not have tried before. Highly recommend a flight after your meal. Enjoy!
Had the chicken souvlaki- 10/10 would recommend. Service was both fast and informative. Would easily go there again and again.
Outstanding service with tasty food. Noise level is lively. We had the upstairs room for a wedding rehearsal dinner, and they handled our group in an efficient and friendly way. Everyone raved about the food!
One over the best restaurants I've ever experienced. Food is amazing and the service is class A+
Food here was DELICIOUS, but I’m giving this place a lower rating because the amount was not worth the price in my opinion. The restaurant encourages family style eating but the plates are each around $10-15$ and only half a serving big. So obviously people order more. We went as a big group so the restaurant added gratuity to our bill, but then also charged us a gratuity tax? Not sure what that’s about, and not sure why I should be paying a tax on the extra money we’re already being charged. Just something to consider before going to this place, but the food really was very good
One of the better Mediterranean style restaurants here in Seattle. A very nice selection of wines to pair against delicious food. Portions are a little small and the menu is a little pricey comparatively but you pay for good quality meals. Very close to the "middle" of Cap Hill so dinner and drinks can turn into anything just a few blocks away.
Ordered three dishes, all perfect!
So delicious. Everything. You think you know pita and hummus, you don't until you eat it here. Also, the frickin' beets!
Food was okay but nothing that made me want to return. Went here midweek for Seattle restaurant week with a group of four to celebrate a family birthday. While the place was not packed, it had some bustle. I was excited because I really love Greek food. On top of the restaurant week package we also got a couple bottles of wine and two additional appetizers, 4 oysters (MP) and the assorted spreads w/pita. After taking a very long time to get our appetizers (at least 30mins after we ordered), the stuff finally came. The spreads were quite good. The oysters were nothing special at all, quite disappointing. And they only gave us 2 oysters after all that time because that's all they had left. I mean, my mistake for expecting good oysters at a Greek place, but for how upscale this place seemed, I expected more. The one redeeming thing of the meal was that they comped the 2 oysters because we'd waited so long and then they didn't have enough to fulfill our order. We had long since finished our bonus apps by the time our restaurant week apps/salads came. And then another long time before entrées. My slow roasted lamb was the best of our four dishes and it was just better than okay. It was basically the lamb in a red sauce and orzo pasta. No other veggies or other things to add some complexity of flavor. My dad's fish was served raw, very pink in the middle. We're not the type to make a fuss, but that we had to send back to continue cooking until done. For how long it had taken them to get us our food I was pretty surprised that the food being undercooked was the problem. Went it finally came back my dad said it was decent but liked my lamb better. My mom and her friend got the other SRW entrée, I honestly don't remember what it was, wasn't anything to write home about. Overall we were there just over 3 hours due to the pace of service, not doddling at all after our meal. I wanted to like this place because I love Greek food, but this was overpriced, slow service, and the food was fairly disappointing.
My favourite Greek spot in Seattle. Great for variety of small plates - ideal when you're in a larger group and get tons of different things to mix and try. Over multiple visits I've tried most things on the menu and have yet to hit anything I wouldn't like. After maybe years living in Mediterranean region i can attest - this place definitely knows what they're doing.
Great entrees and appetizers. Creative takes on classic cocktails. The lokma were so tasty and rival beignets from even the best places in USA.
Exceptional, modern Greek cuisine. The timeless flavours with a welcome twist. This restaurant goes out of its way to generate new dishes regularly. It’s not cheap, but well worth the experience.
The food here was really good, but what I really enjoyed the most was the ambience. This is a place that is loud with conversation, and that only adds to the atmosphere they're trying to create. They have some delicious food, a great wine selection and even some nice options for vegetarians and vegans.
Delicious Greek dishes, a Greek inspired sunday brunch menu, and a full selection of Hellenic wines and libations make Omega Ouzeri a favorite destination in Capitol Hill for anyone looking for Greek cuisine. The wait staff and chefs were all welcoming and friendly. In this time.of Covid there is hand sanitizer throughout, a nice patio, and plenty of space inside for distancing.
Hummusee what I can write about my experience. It's definitely not your average run of the mill Greek place. Beautiful layout with loft like second floor and white with white metal chairs and tables, clean lines wooden wall back bar, it has a Scandinavian feel to it. It's fairly quiet on a Tuesday evening at 7.
My server lets me know that all the portions are fairly small and recommends I get an appetizer or two and a main dish. I also feel that since it's so quiet it's a bit of a push to upsell. For me, it's usually the hummus or baba ghanoush that prefaces how the rest of the meal will go taste wise for me.
I start with an order of hummus. At $8.... pretty hefty price It comes with soft and chewy pita, olivey taste, lightly crisp outside and warm, yum. The hummus had great texture, but it's lacking the tahini taste that gives it that extra special oomph I love. I falafel (feel awful, lol) for giving it a mediocre review, but it's more pasty and less tasty.
Next up, the Grilled Meatballs: Keftedakia. $16. Lamb and beef, kopanisti, and herbs salad. (Kopanisti is a whipped red pepper dip). The meatballs have a nice grill mark on the outside, and very moist (sorry for those that despise that word) and juicy inside. It served in a little metal skillet with the salad consisting of mint, dill, onion, and parsley. The herbed salad pairing is a nice aromatic/cool taste with the richness of the meat. My favorite dish of the night.
For dessert I chose the Vanilla Yogurt Mousse: Giaourti $8, with a Muscat grape spoon sweet??, pistachios. When I think of a mousse, I think of a creamy texture. This mousse was like a gelatinous disaster. Flavor profile was okay, the grapes were a bit too sickly sweet for me, but the "mousse" reminded me of hospital jello, wayyyy too stiff. I ate about half of it because I was craving something sweet, but in hindsight I should have just let it go...
Friendly staff, welcoming environment and very delicious, quality food. I had the chicken lemon soup and it was exactly what i needed to warm up on a chilly day. Highly recommend!
The most refined Greek food you could ask for, with great meze (zucchini fritters! Grilled halloumi cheese! Fabulous salads! Perfect crispy lamb chops!) Outstanding selection of Greek wines, which will surprise you if you haven't tried their current wines. It isn't all retsina! And of course, as in the name, delicious ouzo selection!
Great dinner, excellent wine, and delicious dessert!
Tasty zucchini fritters, meatballs, tzatziki, and octopus. We also got the whole fish of the day, which was ok, but we should have just gotten more small plates - will have to come back for them! Our server was very sweet and accommodating (I think we were a bit of a pain).
Their greek salad is UHMAZiNg. I love their chicken souvlaki meal (sans orzo if you're GF) and my favorite thing is their Avgolemono soup. I have tried many a time to make it myself, and it's good, but Omegas is my new favorite comfort food.
The Lost in Paxos cocktail is excellent. I had two during happy hour, and my wife has the glasses of house wine. We shared three hh plates and then the rabbit. Everything was tasty. We finished with two desserts which were very good. $150 was more than I normally expect to pay during happy hour, but we'd go back.
Fabulous restaurant with very friendly staff. The pita was unreal. Also the ouzo cocktail was very enjoyable and refreshing! I highly recommend for upscale, sharable and very flavorful Greek food.
Such friendly service and delicious food! It only didn’t get 5 stars since it was restaurant week and I couldn’t order off the regular menu that’s on the web!
This is always a go to when we are in Seattle BUT we have never been here in the winter. Our favorite greek salad was not on the menu we were told because no good tomatoes were available. The replacement salad not nearly as good. Winter squash fritters not as good as zucchini fritters. Will make note to self to only go in late spring, summer, or fall. Tzaizichi is always amazing there and a favorite.
Greek fare served with love, care, and an appreciation for the simpler things in life. Timeless recipes with a good mix of experimentation. The service is fantastic. Ask for Fred. He will not lead you astray.
Loved all the food and the wine from Crete.
Great food but slightly too salty on a couple dishes like the octopus. Overall great place and would eat here again.
Food was fine. Nothing amazing. The Greek red wines were borderline bad.
Always a great experience! Wonderful staff, fish and wine. Definitely set up for sharing and don't be afraid to ask your server for pairing recommendations!!
Great food...get the octopus (but I always say that about most places, but really...get the octopus)
AMAZING staff. Good was pretty great too. This rating is directly due to our server, though. He was informative, very patient, and also very welcoming. He even "deboned" my friends sea bass for him, right at the table!!
Amazing authentic greek contemporary dishes. With an all Greek wine list. Yes, Greece is making some fantastic wine now. You should check it out!
One of the best dining experiences I had recently was at Omega Ouzeri. Thomas is a relentlessly welcoming host. He visibly takes pride in his restaurant and he visits each and every table, chats with the guests, shares his passion for the food and beverages he serves.
The food is absolutely delicious. We attempted to try as much as we could. We had oysters, marinated olives, calamari, grilled octopus as appetizers, and the whole grilled Mediterranean sea-bass and the slow braised lamb shoulder as entrees.
I am originally from Turkey, so this authentic Greek restaurant was an exciting find for me.
In Turkey we have a national alcoholic beverage called Rakı. Greeks have pract'cally same beverage and they call it Ouzo (hence the restaurant's name "ouzeri").
I had a flight of ouzo first, and I let our waitress choose the three ouzos for me: Giokarinis, Stoupakis, and Sans Rival.
Sans Rival is absolutely a marvel! So I had that with my dinner.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Go there, enjoy the great food, great music, great ouzo and the short but welcome company of the wonderful owner!
An excellent spot for dinner great Greek food. Highly recommend the kopanisti and the smoked eggplant with burrata
Terrific service! The pikilia is out of this world - great tastings! Love the pita, and the wine recommendation was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!
Great place, very good food. The seafood risotto was dalish and the rice pudding was Sooooooo tasty. We are going to Omega Ouzeri again:)
Sara our waitress was very kind and sweet.
Very good higher end Mediterranean food in a very bright atmosphere!
Favorite restaurant in Seattle. The food its just amazing. Greek food with a modern twist. The wine selection is really good. Whatever you choose its going to be good.
Wonderful ambiance. The risotto was good, but I plan to try the gnocchi next time. The homemade tiramisu was the best I've ever had!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. A huge variety of flavors in a single meal and great service. Highly recommended!
Great food and staff. Good prices for the area.
Oh yes. It was New Year's Day, so they had a set menu for the occasion. We haven't had a chance to go back on a non-holiday, but I will! Excellent food, excellent service.
Very upscale Greek food, nice atmosphere and awesome personnel. Definitely a place to try!

Great food, vibe at an affordable price! We love it
Modern & Cozy atmosphere. V. nice & friendly staff. Food were OK. Main reason for just OK is cos they over cook my Moussaka......
They have small plates but the taste was authentic. We ordered the sea bass and it exactly tasted home.
The smoked mackerel with eggplant was perfectly prepared and delicious served next to this scrumptious eggplant. If you haven’t been here, the cauliflower side is a must, too.
Perfection. The staff, ambience, decor, and food were perfection. The quality is so good. Strongly recommend this place.
Great option for vegetarians. We like to order three small plates to share. Have the fava bean dip, it's amazing.
Traditional greek dishes with a slight touch of innovation. Even better than most greek restaurants in Greece. Definitely recommended
Beautiful open air atmosphere. Could eat the melt- in- your- mouth lamb everyday. Served family style.
