Reviews of Okinawa Teriyaki
This is a great little hole in the wall that I love to find when traveling! They were super friendly and the food was delicious! They are also close to Pike Place Market so you can eat then go walk around 😌
I ordered chicken and beef teriyaki. Chicken was delicious but beef meat quality was low. Rice was also not cooked well. I paid 17 USD and portion was small.
Food was delicious, it was quickly served, and the portions were great. The chicken and pork teriyaki were finger-licking!
Super delicious! I got the chicken teriyaki and loved it. Definitely will be back.
We came specifically because we were looking for the best Chicken yakisoba. I'm not sure if I like it better than other yakisoba I've had but it is very good and you can't beat the price.
We opted for beef ramen too, which was fragrant and flavorful. The beef was the perfect texture. Many people recommend the ramen here and it is easy to see why.
Overall very happy.
Love this little spot for lunch. Usually pretty busy due to being the best teriyaki in the neighborhood. Spicy sauce is so good- I get the spicy chicken bowl with white meat for an extra buck. Bowls come with both rice and salad which is nice for the great price. Freshly made and quick! Closes early evening so if picking up dinner, check the hours. Wish they were open on weekends!
Delicious local restaurant with good service and reasonably affordable! Got to soak to the owner, as I take the ferry regularly did not it was so near. Been located within this block for 22 years! I will be frequenting this as a dinner option as there is always ferry conflicts.
This is mostly a take out space, but they have seating. Food is pretty good, but for our group today it was slow. Yes they were busy, so hard to say during the lunch rush. Portions are decent. I was still hungry, but maybe that's a good thing! Meaning I didn't eat too much
Me and my husband always tried and stuck with some delicious food restaurant. We found this teriyaki place in our lunch time and it was excellent and so yummy. Everyone must liking their food!
Quick service, great prices. Great teriyaki but the Katsu is perfectly crispy yet tender
One of my go to lunch spots - come a little early to beat the rush
The pork ramen I got was great and filling! My sister got the spicy udon noodles and was very happy with it. The portion size was generous as well. Inside that staff was very kind and fast for helping us.
I've been coming here for at least 7 years and will probably keep going back as long as they are open.
Great, no frills, perfectly executed teriyaki. One of the few places to get a good, reasonably priced meal downtown.
Great teriyaki. Busy at lunch.
Ordering ahead online is useful, but use the clover app. Other apps charge more and aren't as reliable.
Small and simple looking place, but excellent food for really good prices. Also very fast. If you don't mind metal chairs and plastic plates, this is a place where you get great food (also to go).
This place is delicious! Be aware though that the spicy chicken is VERY spicy! More than I could handle. The flavor of everything was delicious though and the service was great! Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
Pictured is the vegetarian ramen and 3 piece gyoza. Price: $11. The broth was clean but I had to up the flavor and spice with house pepper sauce. Ramen was filled broccoli, cabbage, button white mushrooms, and wavy noodles. Next time I'll try another ramen but most of the customers ordered the combos.
This is very good! Definitely fresh and delicious.
Super cool unique menu, my wife had the teriyaki with mushrooms which I don't see often and said it was incredible! Will go back
Very friendly, very generous portions, very fast service. I work nearby and look forward to many lunches at Okinawa.
Great value. Yakisoba has lots of veggies! Quick & delicious with reasonable price in downtown
Awesome location close to the waterfront. Great spicy teriyaki and fried rice.
Good spot,, been here forever. One of the few places in the area that have survived. You can't go wrong here.
They're always so nice and friendly. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. Even better, is that it's a great value for the dollar, possibly the best in the waterfront area.
Excellent selection of fried rice, udon, soba and ramen noodles with teriyaki. Very fast and polite service near the piers. Great for a quick, tasty bite.
They have a very large selection of food here and the teriyaki is very good. You get decent amount of food and the fried rice upgrade is very good.
Great food plenty of options and reasonable portions
Absolutely amazing. Teriyaki chicken is a must-try.
Food is really good! Must go here!
The spicy chicken is delicious
Tasty food great prices. Perfect for lunch hours. They do close early tho
Portions were incredible! Friendly staff and tasty food
Really love this place. The people are great and always make really good food! I get the spicy tofu and my boyfriend gets the broccoli Beef. It’s one of our favorite spots. :)
Excellent teriyaki, fast service at lunchtime, and the salad dressing had some kind of berry (?) flavor with it, a nice surprise.
Amazing beef broccoli it's one of our regular spots. 10/10
Great food and large quantities at a low price.
This was the first place me and my boyfriend decided to eat when we came into the city. Honestly, amazing! Employees were polite, food came out quickly. Great selection of food and drinks! We got the chicken and beef combination teriyaki with some egg rolls on the side. I LOVED IT!
I work right up the street and stumbled upon this restaurant and ever since I've ordered their spicy chicken bowl I come here once a week...it's is so delicious and it doesn't hurt my pockets. The owner and the cooks are very nice, I just wish they had bigger chairs for me to sit on... other than that no complaints! I'm so happy to find a great teriyaki place. They deserve 10 stars
I worked in this place about 10 years ago. I always liked the food. I hadn't been back for a long time but I always wanted to eat a good Ramen, rice and especially the best dressing... Today had the chance to visit my friend and it still amazing, the food still having the same taste. I loved getting my friend Yoojim. Thank you guys, you are the best.. we will come back soon.
We have never been disappointed with the good here. Always great tasting food. The lady at the reception is also very pleasant. We always get the spicy chicken katsu, and the spicy chicken teriyaki. Both the dishes as lip-smacking.
Absolutely delicious. Best teriaki I've had in a long while. Between my sisters and I we had the beef, chicken, AND pork teriaki, and all three were divine.
The food here is pretty good, and the service is super kind and quick. It can be busy at lunch, but there are a number of seating options for small groups or those flying solo, and the turnover is pretty quick. For those wanting to take it to go, you can order in-store or call ahead for pickup.
One of my go-to lunch takeout spots in downtown. My favorite is the simple, teriyaki chicken or mushroom chicken.
Food is consistently good, good portions, and reasonable prices.
Though, I usually avoid going around peak lunch hour as the line can get pretty long.
Quick and delicious with hearty portions. I had the hot and spicy pork which was delicious but more spicy than hot. It almost tasted like bacon, which was awesome.
Really good food. Great menu selection with responsible prices. My new favorite teriyaki spot. Glad i stumbled upon it. Call ahead, they will have your order ready when you are.
Decent food at a fair price. Got the chicken bowl and didn't love the meat (had a word texture) but the rice, salad, and pot stickers were good. Hubby liked the beef in his. Fast friendly service.
Great teriyaki at an extremely reasonable price. They're menu is pretty varied too (I don't see yakiudon much) so you'll probably find something you like. I'd recommend this to anyone.
get the hot & spicy tofu with veggies - you won’t regret it. tofu is cooked PERFECTLY, teriyaki sauce is delicious & great amount of spice.
Great cooks, excellent value for money - you can't beat this place for takeaway if you live nearby - I love the Chicken Teriyaki with salad. It's very popular at rush hour (lunch time) but if you go a bit before or a bit after, it's fast.
The value proposition here is spectacular. For experiencing a week of spending $70+ to feed a small family of 4 it was a nice feeling to spend less than $40. It's simple comfort food that is priced for the masses. You won't get blown away but you won't leave hungry nor will you be disappointed. Come to feast!
This is The Best teriyaki place down town and it shows. Get there early or late, there's always a line. But that line moves Quick. The guy at the front counter always has service with a smile. I go there for lunch once a week with my friend when he's not stuck in late meetings. Food wise Everything is good. Try the combos to get a taste of everything till you find your favorite. I love the chicken and beef combo.
I wanted stir fry vegetables, which I guess they don't serve. I ordered the "side of veggies" after confirming that it would be seasoned, but when it came it was just a tin of plain steamed cabbage and broccoli. That being said, the egg roll was good, and service was fast and friendly.
I eat here at least once a week, often more. It's delicious EVERY time. They are super fast and always friendly. Be warned the line at 12pm is "long" but again, they are so fast you can get your food within about 10 mins. They also take phone orders.
Excellent Food, Cheap Prices, and a clean establishment.
The food is always excellent, service is quick and staff are always friendly and helpful. I've been working in the neighborhood for many years now and this place never misses.
Please support these business they have the best teriyaki in downtown seattle close by the seattle great wheel I dont want to this place to shutdown because of the new covid omicron virus. Please support these amazing business.
My coworker goes here every day he is at work
Got there a little after noon on a Tuesday. Big line (12 deep), but moved pretty fast. Ordered and had my food delivered within 3 or 4 minutes. Food was hot and tasty. Not the best I've ever had, but very good.
Smaller portions, but satisfying. Prices are quite reasonable in proportion to portions.
Huge plates of delicious food! Best katsu ever!
Good first contact with Teriyaki. Grear lunch spot for the area!
What an awesome find! This is the go-to-spot for teriyaki and is so affordable! I tried their spicy chicken bowl today - for under $8, it's a steal and a very generous portion for the price. It was also some delicious 'yaki - the rice is almost fluffy and sticky at the same time. HEAVEN and perfectly seasoned/spicy. I was very impressed and will be back! They run a very smooth, well-oiled machine; the way they handle their line is down to a science, making the wait extremely short and very bearable. THANK YOU!
Delicious chicken teriyaki and goyza!!! Fresh and homemade!
Excellent food. Do yourself a favor and get a Ramen bowl. Teriyaki beef is another winner
i ordered the chicken ramen (with no veggies) and the staff was very nice and helpful, the ramen was delicious (i usually only like ramen from kizuki because i'm picky and hesitant to try new things and this didn't taste similar at all but was really really really good) the restaurant was clean and nice and i will definitely eat here again. highly recommend!
Maybe it was because we had walked over 5 miles that day. Maybe it was because lunch was 6 hours ago. Maybe it was because we had been craving Asian food. Or maybe it's because the food is that dang good. Teriyaki? Teri-yummy! Oh, and the service was stellar.
Very quick service, great price for the amount of food, and I liked what I ordered (hot and spicy chicken). Line might appear long during lunch but it moves fast. Well worth the wait.
Had the chicken Ramen. Was really good.
Great place, fast service, delicious food! They will never disappoint.
Good food at good prices. Their portions are large enough to make you full. Foe the price in seattle id highly recommend this place. Just call to order during lunch since it gets busy.
Food here is fast and good enough for ramen or whatever Japanese foodfix you need. It's busy lunchtime but otherwise quick. I had shrimp ramen recently. The curly noodles were nice and chewy and the shrimp were plump and tasty. The broth could be tastier. My companion's chicken ramen had really tasty barbecued chicken on top. She liked the noodles too but that was it. We were still happy as the place is convenient and fast.
I refer to this place as Mad House Teriyaki. The food is great, but one must time arrival to miss the throngs of software developer who form the lines that flow out the door. Because of the concrete and glass interior, it can get so loud that you can't hear yourself think.
To try it, I suggest arrival between 1145-1200 on a Friday. The "working from home on Friday" effect seems to diminish the crowds.
Okinawa Teriyaki was delicious for lunch! Really fast as we got there right before noon, and as we got up to leave there was a huuuge line. It's clearly popular and well loved.
I lived in Okinawa for a few years and I miss it so much. The yalisoba is the closest thing to what I used to get while I was there that I've ever had. It's delicious.
The beef teriyaki is so consistently good. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
So delicious oh my gosh chicken teriyaki is delicious and the salad
Great service and the chicken katsu was delicious! Definitely recommend!
Went here because on a previous visit to seattle we had eaten at a place that no longer exists called Osaka teriyaki. This place was an excellent replacement for sure the food was great service was good and the restaurant was very clean. Well done
I had spicy teriyaki at 548pm today. They offer brown rice option as well as cabbage and vegetables stir fry instead of salad if desired. Free hot tea. Gyosa home made and fresh. Will come again. Affordable prices below $10... nice cheers
Wow! What a hidden gem. Ordered the katsu yakisoba and the broccoli beef. Both delicious! Will be back very soon!
Definitely the best teriyaki in town
Excellent teriyaki, especially the spicy. It's a mad hour during lunch. I recommend calling ahead, you'll still wait in line to pay but not to pick up.
quick, good price, good quality ingredients. what else do you need from a lunch spot?
Food is good but if you're eating with someone, don't expect your food to every show up together. Half the time one person is completely done eating when the other is still wiating for food.
Friendly and the food is good!
Meh... we read the reviews and were excited about this place but the food was just subpar. We've had better Ramen in other places in Seattle for just about the same price. Left disappointed and down that we used our only lunch chance on this place.
Tremendous portion for the price, amazing ebiten, perfect rice. Quick and friendly service. Nice space close to the waterfront but not too busy.
Gets pretty packed during lunch, but is pretty decent food for the money. Complimentary hot tea is a nice touch too.
Great quality meat, cooked to perfection, generous portions, friendly service, tasty teriyaki sauce, and GREAT price for being downtown. What else could you ask for in a teriyaki joint?
Pretty nice place for afternoon lunch. Good price and decent proportion. I have attached a menu with this review for people interested.
Delicious food, large portions and friendly staff. Can't go wrong here!
Good food at a fair price and you don't feel cheated in the amount of meat or sides you get. Definitely will be back as even when it's crowded it's worth the hassle.
Teriyaki bowl and Goyza super loved by my kids! $5.99 will be back !! No lemonade but has small grocery store size of drink choices or fountain drinks
Best Teriyaki in the area. They're always really nice and service is quick even when they're slammed at lunch time. I eat here weekly.
My favorite teriyaki in the city. Excellent food at good prices, but get there early for lunch as the lines can be crazy long and out the door.
The teriyaki was well seasoned. I used to get vegetarian food here which was great too.
Probably the best teriyaki in the area! My go-to for lunch whenever I want teriyaki. Their spicy chicken and katsu are always on point. Portions are very generous as well.
Tonkatsu here is excellent. Arrive before noon for lunch, space is small, line gets quite long very quickly, and some items will sell out.
Excellent teriyaki very filling & not too far from Pikes place. Needs better signage out front so more people can find this hidden gem.
This place has a very busy lunch rush - for a very good reason: great food. Too busy to expect it to be fast, but great food at reasonable prices.
Their Goza bowl amazing! 6 perfectly fried on a large bed of rice with salad for 5.99.
Best teriyaki in the city! Crazy tender and juicy chicken. Biggest ding is the lines can be quite long during prime lunch time.
I only get the Chicken/Broccoli as I'm not big into Asian food, but this place does it better than most. Quick, friendly service as well.
Awesome!!! Good service, tasty, location is close to Pike Market. Especially, rice is real Japan rice(short and sticky grain) Everything is awesome
Amazing food amazing chicken teriyaki so good
Family owned restaurant that was very quick with the food :)
Good portion of food. Fair price. The reason for the 3 stars is because my chicken was undercooked and chewy!
Great teriyaki, huge plates, awesome value. It gets busy, so come early. The line does move quickly though.
good but NEVER open it seems like, i mean never no dinner no sunday, cant seem to hit it, live next to it and if it were open i'd eat there all the time, worker strike perhaps?, chicken shortage? sauce crises? cant figure it, just dont bother
The food tastes awesome, the server are friendly and the price is good. One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.
Awesome service and food. Recommend the chicken katsu and the gyozas!!
Nice corner shop. The food was good, the portions were huge, the service was friendly, and the place was clean
Nice quiet shop. Lots of comfort food for me.
Great, simple, inexpensive food. Rather busy at lunchtime.
Friendly people and good teriyaki
lots of food for a reasonable price, and super fast. the gyoza was great and so was the chicken teriyaki and tonkatsu
Great lunch spot with owner working there daily. Can get crowded but the kitchen cranks out orders.
Good teriyaki place, this is my first choice if I am downtown and want teriyaki. Their spicy pork is pretty good over others.
Best stir fry in downtown! Definitely recommended! And they have Vegan Options!!
This place is an absolute gem. Graet place for lunch with delicious, fresh food and stellar terriyaki. Definately will be back.
Delicious Teriyaki! Owner is also a fine human being, showing grace and kindness at all times.
Awesome! Best Teriyaki in town! Try their Spicy Yaki Udon!
They were fast and polite and the food was the best teryaki ive ever had. Five stars definately
Very clean, fast and delicious!
Busy place, but moves fast. Cheap lunch options, big portions and free hot tea.
Incredible place: delicious, fast, not expensive, friendly and unlimited hot green tea!
Very good teriyaki, affordable prices and very clean place.
Great food!
Really good spicy teriyaki with white meat an option. Friendly counter people.
Really neat place! The food was great and the prices were reasonable!
okay chicken teryaki, staff kinda rude, great location downtown seattle by my room so good enough when i dont want to travel far or sit down to eat
Very good place to grab a filling lunch. The spicy chicken combo is soooooo good.
Great teriyaki!
Seattle's best Teriyaki.
Small place, big portions. Really good food, and a wide variety of options.
Very tasty, and fast. They have delicious vegetarian options too!
I love calling in lunch at this place and having it ready as soon as I show up. My favorite is spicy chicken with salad.
Been coming here for years. Decent quick food and very consistent.
Really enjoyed the Katsu. 5 min walk from the office so this is usually the go to spot
Just normal, was not impressed with the beef teriyaki, thin sliced lot of fat/gristle.
Delicious food, courteous/friendly staff. Absolute must if you're in the area.
I like the spicy katsu, it it really good. Also the atmosphere is very calming. - enoch
No doubt the best downtown teriyaki place.
Good food, great menu, but get here early!
Food was good but not my taste in food. Should try it and post what you think
Great bites! Love the ramen, close to the ferry too!
Fantastic
Food was served pretty quickly, had generous helpings, and tasted delicious! :)
Delicious and cheap food made to order, and so much comes with it!
Prices went up multiple times, but the food is good.
My favorite Teriyaki place in Seattle (and I've been to a lot). Just wonderful in every aspect.
Very busy during our visit in the lunch rush, but excellent katsu.
Amazing teriyaki. Got the chicken yakisoba, gyoza, and beef+chicken teriyaki combo, all were incredible!
Chicken teriyaki bowl was great. Chicken ramen - ok.
Looking forward to working my way through the menu
Very casual place to grab some lunch, big serving portions, delicious ramen.
Quick and easy lunch spot near the water with great food and staff.
I had a spicy chicken dish with lots of vegetable s- great
Best teriyaki in downtown, always great for a quick lunch
Their ramen is fantastic. The lines at lunch time can be long though.
Fast and friendly service. Always delicious and good quality food!
So nice little restaurant that you can food. Poison people. Fast
good food, often too busy to get food between noon and 1
Spicy shrimp teriyaki is so good! Very long lines at lunch, though.
One of my absolute favorite lunch spots. Quick and delicious.
Good place the New cook looks very professional. Always using gloves.
I work around the corner and always call in and is ready when I'm there. Good prices and friendly staff
Good food, good portion, friendly staff, good atmosphere.
Amazing Chicken Teriyaki and Hot Chicken Teriyaki. Always filling and tasty for lunch
Excellent downtown Teriyaki restaurant.
The staff are very friendly.
Best teriyaki in downtown. Pricey but good!!
Best teriyaki there is. I can't go to anywhere else now, cause it just doesn't compare.
Fast service, decent food, ok price for lunch
Seriously the BEST teriyaki I've ever had. Nothing can compare.
Great teriyaki, generally pretty busy but worth it
If you are looking for perfect Teriyaki, this is a place to go.
Great value, quite crowded at lunch but the food makes up for that.
Affordably priced lunch meals and a friendly service!
Lunch downtown? Skip the tourist traps, get some teriyaki here and thank me later.
The food is really delicious
Great spicy teriyaki. Great lunch place.
Good affordable food downtown. Hard to find!
After extended PTO at work, what I miss most is Okinawa Teriyaki for lunch.
Always the friendliest service and currently the best teriyaki in Seattle.
I always get the raman but someone had katsu I want to try it next
Good food
Large servings, but the ramen is lacking in flavor.
Stellar teriyaki. I just wish they were open a little later.
The spicy chicken teriyaki is the best in town, in my opinion.
Excellent teriyaki! Try the Beef or Katsu Ramen.
Very Japanese food.
As the norm, good portion and delicious ☺️
Delicious food, quick and corteous service.
comfort and good atmosphere, very good food
My go to lunch staple every time I'm in Seattle. Broccoli chicken for the win.

Great food !!!!
consistently excellent
Very good.
Close and tasty
Delicious! :)
Damn tasty
Delicious!
Service was quick and kind, especially since they were busy with take out and dine in! Had the pork ramen. The flavor was great and the broth was rich, warm and full of flavor. I dinged a star because I wish that the ramen would have arrived a bit closer to boiling.
Cheap and delicious teriyaki restaurant!
There are also yaki and tonkatsu types of food, but it seems to be a casual Japanese restaurant.
I just ordered the seasoned pork teriyaki and ate it. It's salty with a lot of seasoning... The meat tasted burnt and was delicious!
I heard Korean in the kitchen. Is this restaurant run by Koreans?
It is a very good place to eat a good ramen. Good service and fast.
Fresh matsu but yakisoba was bland
Umm....yummmmm
Tooooonnnnnnnnnkkkkkkaaaaatttsssuuuuu
