Amazing Detroit style pizza! You have to order a few months in advance due to high demand, but worth the wait! The chef/owner personally handed me my pizzas and was extremely warm/friendly. Felt great supporting a local business owner so passionate about their craft

There's literally nothing like this place here in Seattle. I've been here for 20 years, and have eaten all kinds of pizza and I wanna cry tears of joy every time the dates come for our pick up. We've been twice in the last 6 months, it's heavy and not an everyday eater, but so worth the wait.
The owner is one of the nicest people, if you're lucky enough to have him offer his sourdough starter do not be like me and decline, take it!
We always get the ice cream while we wait they are big enough to share and you can pick two flavors. Just hope they have the homemade cones to go with it! Check out their dates and put the order on your calendar, gives you something to look forward to!

Heard of this place two years ago and I finally tried it out.
Overall it was really good, unique flavors with quality ingredients. We did reheat in the oven a bit as the bottom crust was not as crispy as we’d like. Aside from that really good pizza. I’ll definitely order from this place again!

Words can’t describe how fantastic the pizza and hospitality is at MOTO. Nowhere else will you find an owner and his staff as passionate about pizza and customer service. 1) The pizza is phenomenal. Mr Pig is 🔥. 2) Lee and Matt were the most enthusiastic people we’ve ever met, taking the time to chat with us and hear our journey (east coast natives) on how we found out about this magical place. We can’t wait to return!!

Long time eater first time reviewer. Tried The Plant and The Pepperoni, the crust was the perfect amount of crunchy, doughy and greasy. The Plant had great flavor combinations, The Pepperoni definitely didn't skimp on the pepperoni if you can handle it. This is a great pizza place to have in the neighborhood.

Our friends love Moto and we finally made it out to see what the hype is about. Such a fun and delicious experience! Super friendly, charming, and welcoming atmosphere. Amazing pizza. I can tell the crew here treats every customer like their favorite “regular”. As someone who loves to cook, I enjoyed chatting with the owner about the ingredients and their source. Our favorite pizza was The Plant! We will be back.

MOTO was amazing! We tried the pepperoni and the plant pizza and both tasted delicious. We loved the crispy, cheesy crust. Nancy was so kind and accommodating during a busy weekend! Will definitely come back again soon, it was well worth waiting 2 months!

Awesome pizza and definitely worth the wait!! I'll be making another order as soon as I can! Don't forget to order soft serve when you pick up your order! The butter pecan and black cherry were excellent
Eric
Just wow is all I can say - easily one of the top pizza spots in the Seattle area, and it’s even up there amongst the best pizza I’ve had coast to coast. The wait for the pizza is definitely long, but it’s worth it.
We tried the Mr. Pig and the Dungeness crab and were amazed by the unique combination of flavors and ingredients - they just work well. Not to mention the crispy cheesy crust was perfection and similar to another one of my favorite pizza spots in Seattle. We also tried the soft serve ice cream with a captain crunch waffle cone, which was interesting but tasty nonetheless. To top it off, the owner is super nice and went around chatting with everyone.
Even though it is take-out only, there are outdoor tables and chairs, which are great for nice summer days. Outdoor seating also means pup friendly 🐶.

My favorite pizza place! They don't skimp on the toppings and the crust is cooked to a perfection. The employees are always so friendly and I swear the owner is the nicest man in West Seattle! Plan to order ahead and make a night of it-you won't be disappointed.
Pro tip: save room for their soft serve after

Love, kindness, and fun served through delicious pizza!
We ventured from Fremont to West Seattle to check out Moto based on a recommendation from a friend and Moto did not disappoint. We arrived at 3:50 PM, 10 minutes before open and we were the sixth group waiting for open. I loved that the owner came out to say a few words to welcome and thank everyone and also asked who was a first timer and then came over to greet us first timers. This set the tone for a fun and enjoyable visit.
The pizza itself was so good. The Pig is such a unique pizza - a beautiful combination of sweet and salty with unique ingredients married with a robust pizza sauce that satisfies your desire for pizza.
Definitely will be back to experience the joy and eat delicious pizza.

I’m from NYC and I’ve had a lot of Pizza. This just might be the greatest, most impressive Pizza I’ve ever had. The only thing better than the pizza was the staff and the owner. Made me feel at home. Definitely recommend! Get the Mr. Pig!!

Fr best pizza out there. So delicious and thick!! I love the taste of the crust and how the cheese is just so perfect on it. Had to come back a day after to try the soft serve and soooo yummy! Definitely serves two because of how thick and filling it is. So so good will be coming back more often! Get the plant pizza so good! When I came back i got the cheese pizza will update! Love the plant pie though! Updated: love the cheese plant imo is my fav!

Omg. This place is so good. We pre-ordered our pizza a while back on their website and it was worth the wait. We got the plant and pepperoni and both were delicious, but the plant was my fave. It was also beautiful...I don't think I've ever said that of a pizza before. I recently started eating gluten again after 10 years and so excited that this was one of my first non-gf pizzas I have tried. So good and will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best dining experience I’ve had across the country. The owner and employees are all extremely friendly and happy to be there. They welcome every customer personally and greet you with the best customer service. The food is out of this world. We ordered their top 4 pizzas, KISSD, Mr Pig, The Crab, and Clam Chowdah. The Clam Chowdah pie is easily the best thing I’ve ever eaten. It’s all deep dish pizza, which isn’t usually my thing, but they use the freshest, best ingredients. 10/10 dining experience. 10/10 food. 10/10 customer service. Moto Pizza FOR THE WIN. I hate that I live on the east coast and can’t eat this pizza everyday!!!!!!

Pizza is definitely tasty, it’s nice and crunchy in all the right places but soft where you want it to be. Pizza’s are ready at the time you pick your order, it’s a cute nice little restaurant.
I wouldn’t really say it was worth the 3 month waitlist, but it’s not like they chose to have a waitlist, they’re simply just that popular and in high demand.
Now, for the price, $22 for 4 slices of essentially deep dish pizza, that’s pretty high. The sauce was also weirdly colder than the rest of the pizza. It was also on the saltier side (not extremely but you could notice it). And it was extremely greasy, like, oil dripping down my hand as I ate it (no that’s not an exaggeration, that literally happened).
Is the pizza good? Yes, but is it worth the $22, drive to Seattle and having to find parking on the street or pay for public parking? Eh, that’s debatable.
Now, I would still encourage people to try this place, simply just for the hell of it but I would say it isn’t the most amazing pizza on the planet. Still glad I gave it a chance!

So I'm staying here in the neighborhood visiting family, and as I'm randomly walking about, I suddenly detect the wonderful scent of pizza...so I follow it. I was ignorant to all the hype and pre-order needs, and when I casually walked up to the door, Lee greeted me with the best smile, and welcomed me to his kitchen! I asked him if he had any pizza...his reply, "it's your lucky day", yes we do! " He briefly gave me the lowdown on order needs and how long it typically takes to get this treasured dough, (July, Aug, Sept orders are sold out!) and quickly recommended the Mr Pigg and the Crab. Oh, Lee's personal tip for your Mr Pigg leftover...soft fried egg on top of that badboy! Score one for walking the hood and spontaneity 🤙 the absolute best pizza I have ever tried... especially the Crab, OMG
Kyra Laughlin
I can't speak highly enough of their pizza and how awesome their staff are! 😊 I got the crab and the Mr. Pig and both were out of this world. I was impressed with how much crab was actually on the pizza and I'm still drooling over the sauces that came on the Mr. Pig 😋 Can't wait to try more of the flavors!! …

FINALLY!!! The BIG Pizza energy Seattle needed!
Boxed up in a beautiful to-go box. Love, care, dedication, and respect for great pizza shines through in each tasty bite.
Moto is pure Michelin Star worthy pizza greatness. It's what pizza is meant to be, a community hub of great food and culture. When Seattle becomes known as a Pizza City we will have to thank Moto for putting us on the map.
Make sure you order enough for leftovers, the dreams of taking another bite hit hard after only 30-45 minutes.
Dennis Williams
If there was a bonus SIXTH star… MOTO would be one of a few places I have EVER been to that would get it. I can confidently say this is THE BEST PIZZA (and the best butter pecan soft serve and homemade cones I’ve ever had). We are soooooooo lucky to have this Detroit (NOT Chicago!!) style pizza right down the street.
OH!! And don’t let me forget to mention how AWESOME the owners Lee and Nancy. Two of the nicest people in West Seattle without a doubt. Do yourself a favor and order a pizza whenever you can get on the schedule OR show up at 3:55 for the 4pm open call on the extra pies.
Ben Connel
If deep dish style pizza with a crust as light as focaccia is your bag then this is the place for you. This is pretty different than any kind of pizza I've ever had so I wasn't sure if it was for me at first. However, when I wake up at 6 am and the first thing I do is heat up the one slice I didn't eat yesterday I think that settles it.
I wish Mr and Mrs Moto could bottle up and sell their positivity... they'd never have to spend another day making pizza for the rest of time.
Ameesh Dave
This pizza is downright incredible. Every characteristic of the pizza is 5 stars including the sauce, dough, cheese, crunch, and density. The sauce is some of best I’ve ever had and they put on in in ribbons so you can’t miss it.
Seriously, it is perfect and well worth the price. Btw, I had it as takeout 40 mins after it was handed to me due to the drive home meaning it may somehow have tasted better had it been fresh.
T.D. Womack
Hands down the best pizza I have ever had! The love and care that goes into each one is amazing and flavors, texture and crunch of perfectly cooked cheese is mind blowing. The pizza tastes delicious the next day and after reheating still has layers of flavor and the cheesey crunch. The wait-list to get this is real and every bite worth it. You won't find nicer people than Lee and Nancy preparing these tantalizing flavors. Posted pic is 2 day old reheated for brunch - definitely passes the taste test 😋
Ishmael Amparo
High quality ingredients prepared in a balanced ratio of dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings. The pizza gods bow down to you. Friendly staff!
Sierra Scharff
Do you like pizza? Do you like waiting a few months for pizza…well for this pizza you definitely should! Worth the wait. Every bite was magical and delicious. We ordered the pepperoni pizza to keep it simple on our first experience. We will be back to try all the others. One pizza was perfect for 2 people And their soft serve was the perfect addition to the meal. We had chocolate and butter pecan swirl. Basically what I’m trying to say, you need to check this place out!
KC & Brooke Munnings
While you do have to order head up to 3 months to snag some of their wonderful pizza - it is SO worth it. I wanted to be annoyed by this and I wanted to hate it but I gave in and tried it. And it was love at first bite.
Where to start? The crust is SO flavorful. Seriously, the crust itself is to die for. The perfect level of soft AND crunch and seasonings. It doesn’t matter which flavor pizza you get - the crust makes it memorable. You can’t find a better pizza this style in Seattle.
The staff are all incredibly nice too but honestly they could treat me horribly and I’d still return for this pizza.
Now my husband and I just go ahead and place our next order 3 months out after we grab our next order so that we can guarantee ourselves this treat a couple times a year :)
Their new spot opened in Edmonds recently too so that frequency will be even higher…

Finally! The infamous MOTO Detroit-style pizza in West Seattle where online orders sell out 2 months in advance for as long as they've been open. The vibe there was so cool and the owner and staff were super friendly and made an effort to connect with me even just picking up a to-go order. We got Crab, The Root, and a vegan Kissd to go. The Crab was Dungeness crab, butter, Dill, sea salt, lemon, and thyme but it did not have very much crab on it especially compared to the picture on the menu. Regardless, it was absolutely delicious and the flavors were delicately balanced with nothing overpowering anything else.
The Root was maybe my favorite because the tomato sauce and toppings absolutely burst with flavor. It was a blend of cheeses, mushroom mix, black olives, onions, pepper, balsamic glaze, and tomato sauce.
The vegan version of the Kissd had the gooiest most amazing vegan cheese. Velvety, melty texture with plant-based pepperoni and sausage, a kiss of spicy agave, and tomato sauce.
They were out of their famous homemade cones tonight so I will get ice cream next time. Definitely coming back here. Check it out if you can!
Michael Choe
I'm no pizza connoisseur but the pizzas here was amazing!! My favorite was the cheese and the pep was a close second. Mr Pig and Crab were good but not for me. The people working there were super friendly and the soft serve was the cherry on top! Already looking forward to ordering another batch!!
Matt Perrone
Moto is a local pizza place situated inside of a house similar to the one from the movie UP. They make Detroit style pizza that comes in a personal size meant for 1-2 people. It's a little on the pricey side, but it's packed full of taste. They have a few options to choose from, but you have to order weeks ahead of time. Yes, it's very unlikely you can walk up and order pizza so make sure to order almost a month ahead of time to secure your order. Definitely a must try though.
Angela Marion
Incredible pizza! After following Moto on Instagram since they first opened, I finally got my act together and placed an August order back in June. Let me tell you, it was so worth the wait! We got the root and the pepperoni and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had! You can taste how fresh the toppings and sauce are and the crust is light but crunchy and just perfect! We also got some soft serve which was the perfect dessert! The owner and the person getting my order were so personable and happy! It was an all around great experience! I can’t wait to try the clam one next time.
Kirsten Hammar
Adorable spot and some savory pizza. You have to preorder, but worth the wait. And they have delicious ice cream too!
dbznz
Don’t be discouraged by the long queue to try one of these pies. I was looking forward to trying this spot since March. By the time July reservations had opened up they were already full. So after talking to Stacy on the phone she said send an email and they will try to help me. It was my birthday wish to try the best pizza in my home town and the crew made it happen. The her husband and coowner has spent years making these pizzas at home because he really likes pizza. I really like pizza too. Thank you so much for sharing these slides of heaven. Can’t wait for a second store or frozen versions 👁👅👁
Kathleen Graham
My husband and I were lucky to snag the final walk-up order of the day as tourists visiting from Chicago! And to make it even better, MOTO’s pies absolutely rival Chicago’s top pies!! The service was extremely warm and friendly, loved the positive vibes. I definitely see why people order months in advance! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to have pizza in Seattle!
Olivier Prock
Just the best. I'm from Queens and have searched for good pizza for 2 decades in Seattle. I didn't even know Detroit style was a thing. It has nothing to do with NY, Chicago, or Neopolitan style, and its it in the top 3 pizzas I've ever had. Picked it up at 4:15, it sat in a box till 6:30 and it was still delicious. Where it excels is the next day reheated in a covered skillet. Whether it's the really flavorful brick cheese, the resilient yeasty dough, or the super high quality sauce, this stuff is worth the wait. Oh and the folks are beyond nice
John Coates
Outstanding.
1) They are the nicest most wonderful and friendly people you will ever meet. They love what they do!
2) Their (Detroit Style) pizza is outstanding. Made with love. Every pizza and ingredient is clearly thought out and therefore delicious.
In summary, delicious detroit style pizza. Perhaps the best there is.
Danielle Santos
Holy grease bomb! Great pepperonis, nice staff, but waiting 3 months for this was sadly not worth it. Don’t fall into the instagram trap. Sure it’s pretty, but it’s just slightly better Pizza Hut pan pizza. If you’re already in the area and are a teenager or adult with Tums at the ready, I’d say sure, check it out. But otherwise it’s not worth the wait and the drive in to Seattle.
Nolan Reis
Pizza was fantastic. The ice cream was superb. The owner was so cute and excited to meet every guest. Worth the wait. Put my next order in the moment I got home.
Highly recommend the crab pizza (he forages for ingredients) and the mushroom
Bryce Loken
First timer- got the Mr. Pig and Pepperoni, they were both fantastic. The ingredients are bountiful, sauce is sweet/savory, cheese is gooey and the crust is buttery with a perfect crunch. Detroit pizza perfection.
MOTO pizza is, without a doubt, the official pizza of heaven.
JJ Ferres
I’ve had a lot of Detroit style pizza and this by far the best! The owner was super personable and made an effort to check in on all the folks sitting on the picnic tables
Stephanie Arnoldin
For Deep dish Detroit cheesy goodness I will wait In a long line! The smell is amazing! To be continued....
Well I must say this... the wait was worth it! We arrived at about 3:50 pm and did not make it home until 7:30 pm! This pizza is ridiculously delicious! I mean Ridiculous! The line was so long when we left so I am sure a lot of people will be disappointed if they run out but man oh man it was worth it. We drove all the way to West Seattle just for this pizza and waited 2 hours just to order! It is truly THAT good!
Ian MacFarlane
Some of the best pizza you can find anywhere. The pepperoni is legendary, and the vegan ones are insane too. I wasn’t a big fan of the Mr. Pig, though. The pork flavor was kinda off, but the sausage was nice. Will be back.
Rick Gray
What’s not to love about a small craft pizza maker that uses home made focaccia bread as a crust with all the love and care of a 99 year old Italian grandma? Add to that the uniquely NW combination of herbs, seafood and love! It was worth the 3 month wait to pick up!!!
We took our time and drove up 509 from Tacoma to make it feel like a fall vacation on a Wednesday afternoon… enjoyed the sights and experiences of west seattle. Went to a record store around the corner and picked up a great jazz LP and to a tap room where you can bring your own food….. a perfect fall afternoon
Morgan Riley
Moto makes pizza night special again! Whether this is a result of the truly amazing pizza or the fact that you have to order months in advance and stare at the date on your calender while a puddle of anticipatory drool forms at your feet, we'll never know. Probably a little of both. Put an order in today and enjoy an incredible experience sometime before the next presidential administration.
Andrew the Hungary
Best pizza I've ever had. From the bottom up, crust was buttery but not greasy, sauce was so sweet and delicious, cheese is shredded on site... it's all in the details here and there isn't a single detail missed. Thank you Moto Pizza. Just amazing
S P
5 starts because the pizza is the best I've ever had (and I'm from Chicago and thought Lou Malnatis was a good as it gets). The flavors are so savory and balanced. 😋😋 We got Plant and Roots.
But I'm unlikely to order from here again because no food is worth waiting 4 months to get! It's a very weird model. I ordered in August for December pick-up. To spend $50 for 2 on pizza is also not reasonable...so maybe you would only splurge every 4 months even if you could order it more often! 😆
Breezy Town Pizza is comparable (they both use a foccasia style base and crispy cheese edges) so that remains our default pizza spot in Seattle.
Matthew Keene
GOATED. One of the best 2 (along with The Carlson Block) pizzas I've had in the state and in my lifetime. Can't wait to place a few more advance orders, the wait was WELL worth it!!
Excellent, warm, friendly service, pizza was ready just a few minutes before my order time, and was an absolute 10/10. Perfect crispy/crunchy crust, it couldn't have been better. Sauce was very well-balanced with sweetness and acidity. The smattering of crisped, curled pep and uncrisped pep was unlike anything I've had before. Cheese was fantastic, savory and just the right gooeyness.
I cannot say enough how f***ing good this pizza is.
Ge Henna
We are from Detroit and couldn't wait to try this Detroit style pizza!!! The owners were wonderful and we literally couldn't wait to get home, so we ate half our order in the car!!! And seriously this is probably the best pizza we have ever had in life!!! I am not kidding!!! We will definitely be back soon!!! Xo

Maybe it’s because I’m from the Midwest where
Detroit style pizza isn’t some rarity but I have to say I wasn’t impressed with Moto pizza at all.
It’s expensive and for something you have to order months in advance I can honestly say it wasn’t very good. It was greasy and not worth waiting 3-4 months for. They try really hard with the flavors and the creative aspect but I just don’t get it. I do not understand why they are so popular and I definitely wouldn’t get their Pizza again.
Or maybe it’s because you guys think too
Much of yourselves and it shows.
Barry Broman
Vegan, not Vegan. If you EVER have the chance to have this pizza, I highly suggest you do. It is the best pizza in Seattle by miles. Detroit style pizza. Incredible humans. This place is miraculous.
Lauren Foley
Being from Michigan, Detroit-style pizza is my favorite! I love that the crust is thick with crispy cheese edges, but whenever I’ve eaten the pizza at Moto, the bottom crust is a bit underdone for me. So I actually prefer taking the pizza home, putting it in the oven to crisp up the bottom a bit more, prior to diving in. Their unique toppings are always fun, though. You can for sure get traditional cheese or pepperoni, but my favorites are the clam chowdah (kind of tastes like an amped up garlic cheese bread) and the Harlem chop cheese. Usually when I want pizza I’m more of a traditional red sauce and cheese person, but Moto’s unique toppings end up being better than their traditional versions. I have tried some of their other pizzas and didn’t like them, though. A lot of people seem to love their crab pizza, but for me, all I could taste was lemon so it overpowered everything else. And I also didn’t enjoy the Mr. Pig because it was much too sweet for my taste. I am looking forward to trying the shrimp and adobo pizzas soon and will definitely keep coming back for the clam chowdah and the Harlem chop (if they keep it around)!
Riley
Best pizza you’ll find in Seattle, worth the drive to West Seattle. Get there early if you didn’t make a pre order!
Edit:
I’v came here multiple times and love the pizza.
BUT My last experience here was not so great.
Initially, I was ignored when I said hello, I was lucky enough to walk up and order a pizza day of, although I did not even know if it had went through because nobody spoke to me when placed my order. I ordered a cheese pizza.
Additionally, there were a few people who walked up and ordered after me. I placed my walk up order and waited for about 15 minutes until I asked about my pizza, they said it would be an additional 15 minutes. This is understandable, I expect quality pizza to take time, although when I saw the two customers behind me get their cheese pizza before I did and they arrived At least 15 minutes after me, it was devastating and I felt like neglected based on not being an old timer’ or regular. Overall, really lame to see my same pizza handed out to customers behind me that walked up and ordered later than me. Being a pizza enthusiast, I know that grabbing a pie from anywhere is a whole experience, I expect a top notch pizza place to be busy, but not neglect their potential regular customers. Most places will put up numbers and gives their customers the walk up food, in the order that it was placed.
Marisa Madrid
My goodness the 3 month wait was worth it. The staff were amazing and the pizza is my new favorite. Happy to drive from Kirkland to enjoy. Putting my next order in now.
Jade Godinez
I would normally never ever wait months to buy a pizza…. But… MOTO has changed my whole life. This pizza is amazing. The crust is fantastic, the owner and staff are so sweet and it’s absolutely worth the wait. I’m happy this business is doing well.
Donel Sequea
A plus all round! Sauce, crust, cheese was superb. Those fond of Detroit style pizza you won't be disappointed. The 45 min drive was worth it 👌 will be back to try the other flavors. …
Alyssa H
Mr. Pig, Pepperoni, chocolate/ cotton candy swirl with cinnamon sugar, and chocolate with oreo cone.
😙👌 …
Kara Gundersen
Lee and Nancy are pizza gods!!! It is worth the month long wait. We were missing Jets and craving the Detroit style pizza but as we took a bite of the fresh out of the oven pie we knew that this was so much better. We didn’t have the ‘I’ve made a huge mistake’ feeling we normally get after the second piece, and you can really tell they have worked hard to take it one step further.
The home made soft serve swirl ice cream is also amazing. All of the swirl ice creams I’ve had before taste like chemicals but the butter pecan actually stopped me mid sentence.
All in all, it is probably better that there is a wait to limit my pizza consumption but I will definitely be going back.
NICHOLAS SMITH
Easily the best pizza I’ve had since moving to the states in 2009. Locally sourced ingredients and the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. I got lucky as a walk-in and was given a genuine warm welcome despite them being in the middle of a busy Friday night. This is the kinda of small business that truly deserves to succeed.
Freddy Hoang
Excellent pizza. 3 month wait is a bit excessive, but it is not just all hype. Mr. Pig was tasty, with a nice acidic kick with the green sauce.

🔥🔥🔥😍🍕
Leaving Detroit left a pan-shaped hole in my life. MOTO nails exactly what makes Detroit style deep dish so remarkable compared to the pomp and circumstance of Chicago deep dish (which Seattle does better regardless..)
Waited two hours in line, made a friend, and it was TOTALLY worth the wait:
The rich buttery crust, the thick cheese, the impeccable sourcing, the composition here is on point. I don't review restaurants often on maps, MOTO is restoring Detroit Deep Dish and West Seattle's rightful place as some of the best bites in our region. (Got the Pepperoni and the Crab flavors respectively, AWESOME.)
As someone taking safety seriously, MOTO handles it with care- one of the best take out setups whilst retaining a welcoming vibe. When social gathering returns, this place will make a lovely happening outdoor dining hotspot with a joyfully surreal juxtaposition of a tiny house near two massive structures.
tony
I got the Mr Pig and it's one of the best pizzas I've had in Seattle! The staff, especially Nancy, was super friendly and helpful. Def recommended and coming back

Ordered in advance, quick pickup delicious pizza!

Imagine being a Pizzeria so in-demand that as of Thanksgiving 2022 you're sold out through 3/23/23...such is life at MOTO where a tiny house in West Seattle is churning out sought after Pies to a limited number of lucky diners Wednesday through Saturday.
Owned by Lee Kindell, his passion and experience yielding self-described “Odd Pizza” most comparable to Detroit Style Pies, it is beginning at 4:00pm that guests queue outside 4526 42nd Ave SW for a taste of everything from Crab to Pepperoni surrounded by a crispy Cheese lattice.
Medium-thickness and offered to-go only, a few outdoor picnic tables available on a first-come-first-serve basis, MOTO began with home experimentation before Lee and wife Nancy started selling mid-pandemic and quickly growing a following despite almost no advertising.
Built on a 100+ year old Sourdough starter, 72 hours of fermentation producing a base that eats like millions of interconnecting bubbles beneath a blend of Cheeses including Mozzarella and Wisconsin Brick, toppings are applied smart but heavy in a way that more than justifies each Pie’s price.
No small investment of effort, best-seller Mr. Pig celebrating Lee’s Filipino heritage with Pork Belly, Longanisa and housemade Calamansi Lime Sauce that perfectly balances fat and acid, another favorite comes as “Clam Chowdah” framing Bivalves with Bacon, Onions and Bechamel plus vibrant Hot Chili Crunch Oil.

When I placed my order 3 months ago I had one hope, that it wasn't so terrible where I regretted my decision, but it wasn't so good that the thought of having to place another 3 month wait order would drive me insane. After finally getting my order this week, I can confidently say my wish was granted.
Kamara Paye
WOW. I never knew how much I loved Detroit style pizza until Moto popped up in the junction!! So delicious, cheesy, flavorful, and unique. Every pizza has amazing flavor and crazy cool toppings. The crab is my favorite but so is every other pizza I have tried. KISSD, root, mr Pig, they are all so tasty. Best pizza ever. (Crab and KISSD pictured)
Sarah L
Ordered about 6 months prior and it was worth the weight. Delicious!
gina girgis
Best 👏 pizza 👏 in 👏town. Their sourdough is amazing. All the toppings are fresh (you can taste it). The staff is so nice and make a point to get to know customers. Even their ice cream and homemade cones are so good. Nothing to dislike about this place. …
Matt Slinger
Who plans two months ahead to grab takeout pizza?? Well, apparently we do now, because it is that good. We've tried four different types, all were incredible. The crab is our favorite, but honestly that crust is so damn good they could serve me rusty paperclips on it and I'd be in heaven. Best anywhere. (Don't tell anyone.)
Josephine Anderson
First off, these are the sweetest most inclusive people I’ve ever met. They were so excited for us to try our first bite of their pizza and it did not disappoint. Second, their pizza is ungodly amounts of delicious. We’ve had all the best pizza across the country and this is absolute top notch cooking. We had the Mr. Pig and highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for making our whole trip to Seattle this weekend extra special ❤️❤️. Will be back for sure on our next visit.
Cathy Landry
Incredible pizza and the kindest people! If you've never had this style pizza I absolutely recommend giving MOTO a try. The crust is amazing and gets nice and crispy around the edges in the best way. The tomato sauce is perfect. And the owners are the nicest people! We had to reschedule our order last minute for a family emergency and they were so helpful and accommodating. Highly highly recommend supporting this place!! We will be back!
Eyung G
Oh wow! The pizza is amazing! Had the Pig and Crab, amazing combination of flavors and fresh ingredients. The crush was especially fantastic with crunch. Will certainly return and reorder. Customer service was also on point with text reminders and even a phone call. Owner was super nice, accommodating, and PASSIONATE about food. First time here, but already in love. One of the best pizzas I've had.
Kwan Liu
Sweet people, best za in Seattle.
I was lucky enough to get a walk in order yesterday, on a Friday no less.
I got the pepperoni with vegan cheese (best vegan cheese blend ever) and my husband got the kissd which reminded him of Roberta’s Bee Sting pizza.
My fetus was especially satisfied. Will be back!
tara king
The pizza was amazing!! The owner was super friendly and inviting. I love to support small operation businesses. I highly recommend this pizza to anyone.
Kc Hebert
Can’t say enough good things bout their pizza. It’s absolutely delicious and most certainly worth the wait and to top it off the owners couldn’t be nicer. Been here a few times and they always take a few minutes to talk to everyone and make you feel so welcome
Rio Antonio
Absolutely great vegan pizza! By far the best I've had in my entire life! It's so good you have to be on a waiting list. Definitely worth the long wait.
Elizabeth Anne
Lee has a brilliant, creative mind and wonderful energy. Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. As of today we are their longest distance customers being from texas, and we have zero regrets. I recommend this place to all!
Christi Balaki
Perhaps the best pizza I have ever had in my life and I truly mean that. Every single bite was an explosion of flavor that kept me coming back for more. My favorites were the Kiss'd and the Mr. Pig. The Mr. pig especially was such a unique and delectable flavor combo: the savory pork along with the light refreshing green sauce and the hardy beet sauce was a perfect combination. Last but not least, the owner is so incredibly nice: you can truly see the love he puts into the food. Don't walk to this place, RUN!
Stacie Ford-Bonnelle
The crust is a dream. My friends and I tried a surf and turf themed evening with crab and chopped cheese. The crab- light, lemony, dilly and not enough! I could have eaten the whole pizza on my own. If I’d known then what I know now… no sharing! The chopped cheese is hearty, tomato-y and toothsome. Throw on some LL cool J to chow down on the chopped cheese because this is gonna knock you out! We were all ready for sleep. Keep an eye on their website for order dates and set your calendar so you can get in on this. Is it worth the two month wait? Yes.
Jeremy Juel
I don’t review places ever, but MOTO is exceptional. Warmest, most genuine welcome I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The staff is amazing and the pizza is ridiculously good. Went last night and this morning immediately booked our next MOTO night for 3 months from now ❤️🔥
Stellar Kennels
Excellent pizza. Unique flavors and great quality. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. You have to order way ahead of time but worth the wait.
Theresa Wallace
Way too much sea salt next I'll ask to delete it sauce had no flavor
Derek T
Great pizza great service!
Well worth the lengthy order ahead.
Pizzas are BIG so 1 goes a long way.
For me great- pepperoni is heavy on the sauce and lighter on the cheese.
Good bread dough that still manages to be "light." Only call out is they aren't shy on the salt, otherwise great@
Patrick Chung
Lee (owner) and his crew are awesome! Lee came out to chat with us and treated us like old friends! Our large group brought some homemade kombucha and banana bread to pair with pizza and we talked and shared cooking stories and food with Lee and his crew. It was a relaxed, engaged and a very happy atmosphere. Their pizzas are amazing too! I will be back. Can't wait to soak up the love that comes from MOTO.
Tiff Napolitano
The pizza is 🤤. Orginial flavors and crust like none other in Seattle and the PNW. The owners and staff are 💣 and so friendly and passionate about pizza and their business.
You have to preorder at least a month a head of time. Follow them on instragram to find out when the ordering books open up.
They also have a walk-up pies (specials of the day so you can buy what they are offering) when they open up daily, but the line can get long and they can sell out quickly.
So order a month in advance or take a chance on a day if you’re feeling lucky.
You can eat there on the few picnic tables they have in front. Then you’ll be able to order their ice cream cups and cones cold which are also unique and tasty.
It’s an experience you’ll absolutely enjoy.
Andrew Peterson
Got the kissd. Insanely flavorful. Nice crisp on the crust. Good dough to cheese ratio. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful! Couldn’t recommend anymore.
star salas
Best pizza and customer service ever!!!! The owners are amazing!!!!! Definitely worth the wait !!! We will be back !!!! owners made us feel like family..even put the tables together so our family can sit together... great experience for sure ! Thank you . Cant wait to see you guys again!
Drove from Everett and the drive was more than worth it!
Susan McKee
The deep dish pizza dough lacks flavor and there was no wow factor. Rhe toppings were fresh and delicious.
Christy Nguyen
Besides the fact that it's practically impossible to get an order in, their pizzas are so good. Almost all of them are worth trying, but the kissed and clam one are really great
Stephanie Bragdon
Such an amazing spot. The pizza is incredible. When I picked mine up I was told the root pizza included some fresh oyster mushrooms forged that morning. It tasted so good and fresh!
We ordered four pizzas because we couldn’t decide and we loved them all! We got the root, the plant based pizza, the Mr. Pig and kissed. All incredible!
The couple who own Moto are so sweet and accommodating. I was running late so they put the pizza in the oven a little later so it was hot when I got it. I can’t wait to come back!
Michael Johnson
I've spent the pandemic trying all sorts of pizza I can find, and I've even been on Goldbelly ordering in from other states. After trying this pizza I can finally say I found what I've been looking for! I have never had such amazing pizza in my entire life. To top it off, the owners are truly wonderful. We were there towards the end, so they sat and chatted with us for a bit while we ate.
On an equally important note, the ice cream is SO GOOD! Thankfully humans have a separate stomach strictly dedicated to ice cream. Don't skip out on the ice cream!!
I'm about 40 to 60 minutes away, depending on traffic, but I booked my next pizza the very next morning when slots had opened up. This place is WELL worth the drive, and I'm looking forward to going back!
Will Drew
Lives up to the hype. Buzzed by for a cheese pizza, wanted to have a review that wasn't clouded by topping, and wow it was exceptional. Looking forward to coming back for a za with fixins next time.
Gail Beuning
I love this pizza and this place and these people! In my opinion, this is the best pizza in Seattle. I can't wait to get more!
My current favorites are MR PIG and ROOT, but I've enjoyed every one I've tried.
Lee and Nancy are the friendliest and most welcoming small business owners I've ever met. They have an enviable problem, sky high demand, and they've met the problem with grace and kindness.
Jane Mathias
Moto moto moto.. been wanting to go here since they opened up and was never able to get there before their sold out! Finally they opened up online ordering for the entire month of March and I was lucky enough to book one for Saturday night!! Boy.. i am totally stuffed to my hearts content while I am writing this review and my soul is already craving for some more Moto style pizza!
We ordered the dungeness crab and Mr.Pig pizza.. both had their own merits and awesome flavors. The dungeness crab was delicious - you could taste the freshness of crab, herbs, lemon while Mr. pig (my personal fav)- some delicious pork in some amazing sauce, what a feast of flavors in my mouth! And did i mention their pizza dough? That is insanely delicious!! I could eat this pizza over and over again! Its tasty and addictive! I am guilty - i over ate but this was totally worth it - my tummy was full but my soul wanted more
The owners are very sweet. Online ordering was a breeze. You get a text message once the order is ready. Nancy also called to ensure we got the "order ready" text and was very friendly. When you walk through their door there is this very nice positive vibes homely welcoming feel - what an environment and the owners deserve all the credit for setting up such an amazing pizza place right here in West Seattle!
I will be back for more for sure and this time will try Kissd and Root(man i already know what I wana order next) welcome to the neighborhood and cheers!!
Eddie D
You'll reserve your pizza weeks or months in advance and it will be absolutely worth the wait.
Jessica H
Oh my lord this was this was so good. My only complaint is that I want to keep eating but I'm out of room. It was worth the wait!
Miles Jonard
order ahead online (preorders sell out fast) or wait around outside at 4pm when they open. arrive earlier on a weekend but weekdays u can typically still get a walk-in order after 5pm. they have a certain amount pizzas reserved for daily walk-ins.
as for the long pre-order time (month or more) it’s not their fault that seattle swarms everything new and good! maybe take inventory before leaving a bad review because they sold out. everyone else was just smarter than you and ordered ahead.
anyway, try the pizza, love it, and then come back here to read the 1-2 star reviews for a good laugh.
Seton
This is pizza that you need to eat sitting down. The crust is amazingly soft yet caramelized and crispy on the edges. The sauce is chunky and flavorful and the ingredients are perfect proportioned. Mr Pig was my favorite.
J G
Wow… best pizza I’ve ever had! 😍 and the service is immaculate. Wonderful people, food, location, and message. Can’t wait to try the ice cream :)
Tim Austin
Hands down BEST pizza in Wa. Went there yesterday and got 3 pizza's. The cheese, pepperoni and my favorite the root. Would highly recommend to all. Thanks!
Mike Allen
Great stuff here! Lengthy wait time but definitely a good experience. Staff was pleasant and we enjoyed it. We ate outside and enjoyed the sunset
TRue T
It’s not often I take the time to write reviews on google but Moto really is something special.
Lee has cultivated a really unique and warm environment that makes you feel right at home. The pizza is far and away the best pizza I’ve ever had. Nancy is such a sweet and kind presence there as well, she gives great pizza recommendations and is immediately liked by everyone she meets.
So many times I’ve been feeling a little down and Lee and Nancy just talk to me and it always is a great pick me up.
Great customer service.
Tons of vegan/vegetarian options as well!
My #1 choice when eating out.
You’ve read enough positive customer reviews go get some pizza.
Oriana Basile
Stopped by to try the soft serve, which were told was delicious, and it did not disappoint. Different flavors can be swirled in and it can be served in a cinnamon-type dough bowl. So good. Super friendly service. We were sitting in the cute courtyard when the owner came out and chatted with us. Very cool. Great story. Will definitely be back, for both the ice cream and - hopefully - we'll score some pizza eventually!
Tiffany Hernandez
Lee and Nancy are wonderful human beings with a even better restaurant! I ordered 2 Mr.Pig and 1 Pepperoni pizzas, as well as 2 cones of ice cream with a total of no regrets. If you want a quality meal, a taste of heaven, and a full tummy. This place is what you are searching for. Great family, date, and hangout spot! Will be back again for soon.
PS.
I would give this place a 10000/5 stars if I could.
Hannah Willis
Wow, what a wonderful experience! The pizza and ice cream were superb. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It felt like eating at a good friend’s house. It was absolutely delightful getting to meet and talk to the owners. They have a clear passion for what they do! That passion clearly comes through in the food. We will be back soon!
Matthew Scott
A big fan of square/Detroit style pizza, first available date was today, ordered 3 weeks ago. It was worth the wait. One of the best pizzas I have ever had, regardless of style. Throw in the fact that they have soft serve, a very friendly staff, and that I got my second Pfizer vaccine today, and it was a great day. Go check this place out!!!!
Cary Terra
Delicious - even the vegan! It's hard to describe pizza as juicy - but this is! The sauce is obviously homemade and is perfectly sweet and tangy. Moto is a West Seattle gem and worth the mysterious process of ordering - come be part of something! The owners - well, you will understand when you meet them. They make you feel as good as their pizza does. We all need a neighborhood place we can stop by, share some banter and chat with neighbors while we exchange money and goods in these dystopian times. Come by and remember how a neighborhood pizza place used to feel while munching on state of the art vegan ingredients. A great experience, start to finish.
Keith Ramsdell
Hands down some of the best Pizza in the city. You can tell how much pride, love, and care they put into their product and experience. We came in today for the first time after being lucky enough to get a pre-order. The team was just so warm and inviting. We ordered pepperoni because it's a good test of doing the basics right and it was absolutely stellar. Just by the smell, I would give it 5 stars but between the service, the ambiance of the store (amazing decor in a cute location) and the knockout pizza itself anything less than a perfect review wouldn't do justice to the place.. We will be coming backing (frequently!) can't wait to try more things on the menu!
Joe Gardner
WoW. A truly sensational experience. Met by a buzzing atmosphere and a true love for pizza. Learning about how much attention to detail goes into the whole process of making these masterpieces was fascinating. Also, witnessing the love between the workers made the whole experience beyond special. Highly recommend! ThankYou.
Mercedes Kindell
Very friendly staff!! Amazing pizza!! Just wow. I can be a very picky eater when it comes to pizza but I liked every single pizza that they made! EVERY FREAKIN AMAZING SLICE!!!! The building itself is very welcoming and the inside is painted by an incredibly talented artist. Eat here and no other pizza compares.
Megan Manetas
So freaking good!!! Ordered the pepperoni, mushroom and vegan options. The crust is fantastic. Loved the flavors in the mushroom pizza. Vegan cheese was solid, too.
The chef and staff were welcoming, and it’s a cute spot. Thank you for bringing GOOD pizza to Seattle! I’ll be back.
Una Bobinac
Just tried the pizza yesterday and will be back! Unlike other places that serve vegetarian options as an afterthought, their meatless options are just as flavorful and the flavor combos were obviously just as carefully considered as the others. That's the pizza review but I think the owners are just as unique. They were friendly, open to conversation (without being too much like some can be) and even remembered the names of people who had come before.
Randy Gallier
Best pizza I’ve ever had! The hype is real!
Christian Schubert
Lee and Nancy, the proud owners of this Detroit style pizza place, know what they are doing. Not only is the location of the pizzeria in a quaint and cute small home that resembles the home in the movie UP, the pizza itself is true to authentic Detroit style pizza. This is coming from a proud Michigander.
Lee focuses his pizza recipes on the flavor, appearance, taste, and texture. Not only does he check the box on all categories, but absolutely goes above and beyond.
Hands down, best pizza in Seattle. My wife, who is vegan, says best vegan pizza in Seattle. Look forward to coming again and so happy it is in West Seattle.
Corree Ann
The absolute nicest people! Super engaging and warm welcomes every time. Even when they were slammed one day with orders from 11am till 9 at night (non stop) because of a glitch in their online orders. They stayed cool, positive and professional 😊. And their pizzas are amazing!👍🏽 …
Kyle Erwert
The pizza speaks for itself, I’m more impressed with the truly genuine and amazing owners making every customer feel like family. It was probably 100 degrees in the restaurant (not to mention the heat coming from the pizza oven) but they continue to smile and love what they are doing. Thank you and keep up the great work, we will be back!!
Angela Manning
I was extremely surprised on how delicious this pizza was. Hands down the best I have ever had.
Alex Siwiec
Great pizza. It has that crispy cheesy edge on the crust, and an overall great texture. I’m hesitant to call it “the best”, as I still think Breezytown/Windycity might have the best deep dish in Seattle (it’s neck and neck, but you can order theirs same-day).
I had to order and pay for the pizza I just ate two full months in advance. Currently, they are reporting being sold out for 3+ months (online ordering is totally shut down as a result). I am therefore deducting a star due to that, reducing Moto from 6 stars to just 5.
黃玉麟
If someone tells you their pizzas takes 2 months just to reserve, what'd be your reaction? Are you kidding me right?! Exactly my reactions too. I even told my wife that something must be wrong with the pizzas or the chef if it takes that long to prepare.
So 2 months have passed and our turn for 2 pizzas came up. I have even forgotten about our reservation. Well the next challenge was to get to the place because we are about 1 hr and 40 mins driving time away.
We arrived in time and the pizzas were just out of the oven as we walked in. Let me tell you I have never tasted crab meat pizza and it was absolutely delicious! Then we tried Mr. Pig pizza and I realize why there is a 2 months wait - the pizzas are that good and they can't keep up with demands.
The couple (Lee and Nancy) owning and managing Moto Pizza are two fabulous people. We started exchanging ideas on how they can reduce the wait time on my next pizzas. Then I realized it's probably people like me holding them up from making pizzas when I started chit-chating with them.
At the end, I took this picture to commemorate our first visit to Moto Pizza. I am quite sure Lee and Nancy will become famous, now I have proof that I know them way back when. Thank you for the lovely crafted delicious pizzas! Kudos Lee and Nancy...
Kacie Yost
If I could give this place a million stars I would. Some of the best pizza I've ever had! Incredible vegan options that you won't find anywhere else. Not to mention the owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Highly highly recommend checking them out!
Craig Frazee
Wow just wow! This is a Detroiter speaking as a lover of deep dish rectangular pies. The owners are a ray of sunshine and absolutely excited about what they do (this shows through in the za!). The dough is light yet still has great texture. Every bite of cheese was creamy with just the right amount of tang. The owner told us it's a blend of cheeses some shipped in fresh every week from Wisconsin and Oregon. Ever since leaving michigan we have been craving that toasted cheese edge that detroit style pizza is know for. This pizza nailed it. Loved every bite. Cannot wait to try Mr. Pig!
Bianka Haro
Really nice experience, friendly service. We were lucky to come early and get a pie. Exceptional taste, will come back!
Sharon Podobnik
I don’t even love this style of pizza but my GOD it was good!!! Super kind and friendly owners, worth the wait if you’re a pizza lover!
tushar patel
Really tasty Detroit style pizza made with love. We ordered the Plant, Cheese, and Root. All were made to perfection. Flakey cheese encrusted crust.
Jacob
Hard to get into to order, but that's because they're so popular! Pizza is delicious, nice thick crusts, and great cheese. The ice cream is amazing. Prices are good. Great addition to West Seattle!
Tim Wetzel
We got the Chop Cheese. Despite all the individually heavy ingredients, there is a very pleasant balance to them all together. The dough is light, chewy, and flavorful. The staff was extremely friendly and despite the COVID restrictions being lifted today, they were still accommodating in asking if we preferred wearing masks while picking up. We will be back many times in the future!
C Kirkpatrick
Undoubtedly the best pizza in Seattle! Period.
The owner puts his love for people layered with his passion in the science of food into his rectangular pizza masterpieces. From the foundational crust with just the right amount of crunch to his generous layers of ingredients throughout. Hands-down THE BEST! End of story.
But Wait! There’s dessert! We ordered a cup of the Blue-Goo ice cream with a sweet caramel dipped crust dipped in fruity pebbles and also ordered a second cup of the butter pecan chocolate swirl in a sweet honey cinnamon crust. Not only are they a delightful treat with an unexpected edge, the light vanilla ice cream to flavor on point! The ice cream is soooo very well rounded without a heavy cream taste, which is more refreshing with a lighter texture than any regular ice cream. The ice cream alone is worth the drive from Bellevue every weekend!
See you next weekend Moto!

Pizza's pretty good. I live in the apartment next to them, so I can grab some food easily when I don't feel like cooking, but would appreciate if they had the music on a lower volume. It's pretty noisy when they open until 10pm even without the dinner rush, and with all my windows closed and I live on one of the higher floors.
UPDATE: Sometimes music is turned down where it isn't blasting up my apartment unit, however, recently, the music has been extremely loud for HOURS on end. I'm trying to have a rest at home and what I feel is that I'm at a restaurant or a bar. That's how loud it is. I can't even concentrate on my graduate program's courses or my work responsibilities. I dread working from home and at this point I'm just waiting for my apartment's lease to expire so I don't have to deal with it anymore.
Joe Drake
Moto is a fantastic recent addition to the West Seattle food scene. Nancy and Lee's hosteling business was upended by covid-19 so they poured their passion into Moto and exquisite Detroit style pizza. The pizza is out of this world: sourdough crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, and brick cheese delicately caramelized, crunchy and chewy. You can't go wrong with any of the varieties.
Heather Crisostomo
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere!! The pair that run this pizza place are awesome. Great customer service and great pizza. I had the black cherry ice cream, and it tasted like something I had as a child...I loved it!
Caroline
AMAZING!!!! Ordered Pig, Root, & Crab…..yum! We've never had pizza like this before and now it’s the only kind we’re going to want to eat! The owners are so nice and welcoming! Can’t wait to go back :)
100 stars!!!
Markus
After a month's wait, finally made the trek over hill'n dale from the hinterlands of Wallingford (with no W. Seattle bridge) last night for a Crab & Pork. To say this pizza is good is a woeful understatement. The crust is chewy but light. Toppings are divine. This pizza will become a must-repeat. Also, FWIW, this stuff reheats beautifully for cheezy breakfast goodness. 5 stars & 2 thumbs up!
Carl LaFraugh
Absolutely phenomenal! Great crust, sauce and toppings
A “Al” T
Heard from our neighbors about the hype of this new pizza joint that opened across the street and it lived up to the hype train. Had the pizza called “mr. pig” and it’s the best pizza I ever had!!!!! The flavors were so dynamite I cried a little inside when eating this, our fam will be back for so much more.
Alan & Lisa
Troy Rock
Pizza was the best I've ever had. The owners are pleasant and genuine. Also, as good as the pizza is, save room for the ice cream. You won't regret it!
margaret heitzmann
The nicest people, best pizza. We drove from Bothell with three kids under 5 and then signed up to do it again! An experience!
C Hall
I could spend a few paragraphs *attempting* to describe the deliciousness of their pizza and ice cream, but I’ll save you the time. Just go.
While my interactions with the owners with relatively brief, they both seemed like absolute gems.
Will be back (and you should go)
Kristi Kelly
I just moved here from New York City and this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Also, Lee, Nancy, and Andrew seem like awesome people.
Lorien Giles
Pizza is good but service is mediocre. Expect long delays and missed times
Lynn Drake
Really good! Crust exquisitely crusty with caramelized cheese. Friendly owners
Michael McAuliffe
Absolutely incredible pizza. The owners are amazing. The place is great and the pizza was one of, if not the, best I’ve ever had.
Christopher Fanger
Amazing pizza with unique flavors. Owner is very kind, will be ordering more in the future!
Christopher Kean
Amazing pizza. Cute place to eat and relax.
Sage Chamberlain
I’m not kidding when I say their crab pizza is literally one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The folks who run it are super nice, the food is amazing. Definitely would recommend.
Nicholas Wolfram
I love having to decide whether I love the people behind a business or the products of a business more. MOTO makes that internal debate difficult in the best way possible. Get some pizza. Talk to the pizzaoli. Either way, you win.
Kyle Kingma
Quirky little shop with cool artwork and very nice workers. Pizza was great and don't pass up that soft serve ice cream. We will be back!
Stacy Nass
Omg... outstanding!! Rad staff!! I think they stole my Spotify playlists...lol
James Grossman
Looking for love at first bite? Then check this place out. Pizza was fantastic. Can't wait to order again.
Angelina Goodman
Really good vegan pizza!
Garrett Sherman
The service and atmosphere were absolutely extraordinary! The Pizza was even better! Would highly advise anyone considering trying a new place, to try MOTO! Highly recommended!
Jannabeth Bannister
Cute tiny pizza joint near QFC and across from the California junction parking lot. Ordered the crab pizza and mr. Pig. Owners were friendly. Will go back and try other pizzas!
Rich Barrientos
This was amazing pizza. Lovingly crafted and with the freshness of ingredients was unbelievably delicious. Got the Mr Pig and KISSD.
Giraldi Alabanza
You have to try the Mr. Pig. Absolutely incredible. It's only been a week but from what I've heard, they've sold out most nights. Strongly recommend ordering online right when they open at 4pm.
jess mccall
Great pizza, and people there are super nice. Don't sleep on the ice cream either.
Justin Gehrt
Amazing food and family ran business!! Pizza is incredible and wish we could eat it more often!
David McKinstry
Update 11/21/21
The Chop was great and the Black Cherry vegan soft serve was excellent.
Igor Draskovic
Awesome looking pizza, would love to try it some year, not really sure how to get a hold of it so for now the pictures look great!
Mark Sarkies
Known for their pizza but their soft ice cream rocks.
Leroy Kendricks
Worth the wait! And an even better exp from the owner. Can't wait to go back!

Charlie Richards
Best Pizza in Seattle!
Cynthia
Worth the wait!
Caleb Cole
Who didn’t give this 5 stars!?!
Ruth Reiser
Great ice cream!
Frederick Edwards
Great Pizza
Erik Walum
Waited months to get their pies. Homemade soft serve while you wait was awesome. The crab pizza was very good. The system of having to sign up for pizza months in advance is frustrating to me. I would have eaten here many times by now otherwise.
V K
The most amazing customer service and the pizza was sooo good
John
Too expensive for the quantity
Patrick Kelly
I don't care who you are or what celestial body you hail from (Vega, Alpha Centauri, Pluto?)
All are welcome at MOTO.
Whether you're in the mood for a basic cheese or the illustrious and flavor packed clam chowda'h, MOTO has ya covered. (Get it...covered...b/c it's a pizza...'eh, ok whatever).
Nothing and I mean nothing locally, (pizza wise) compares to the flavor, smell, taste, etc of a MOTO pie, it gets my engine revvin'.
You can get a pizza anywhere but you CANNOT get a good cheesy, crusty, edgy Detroit style like MOTO offers anywhere in W. Seattle.
Do yourself a favor and get one today. Who cares about the price, your brain and your stomach will thank and love you forever.
Tell 'em Marvin the Martian sent ya.
Michelle Cruz
Have loved all their pizzas!
