This place is absolutely delicious. The servings are generous and the quality is top notch. While it's a smallish venue the atmosphere is great for casual dining. The staff are also super friendly. Highly recommended, we've gone back so many times and the food is always great.

We've been here twice now and this place is low-key amazing. Very chill but thoughtful dine-in vibes, extremely family-friendly staff, and very tasty food for the money. We've had two pizzas, three pasta dishes, and two salads. Note: the cream-based pastas are VERY rich. Love this place ❤️ PS: this place looks to be under be ownership so reviews from 2 years ago or more are not relevant 😊

SECRET STUNNER IN ROOSEVELT Insanely delicious, scary fast delivery. We order the CRISPY PEPPERONI LOVERS pizza and it makes me want to cry. As soon as you take the first bite of sizzlingly hot pepperoni laced with fresh and tangy cheese, you get kicked in the face with flavor and smoldering spice. This is not your national chains pepperoni. Yes there’s some grease but sop it up with a towel or get over it. Meat and cheese produce oil when cooked. More cheese and meat = more oil. Shocking, I know. I wish they were open later!! Serve the college students at midnight instead of the boomers at 10 AM.

Great place for good food! Daughter ate here while doing weekend hockey tournament in Northgate. Food was filling and gave her the energy for the second game in a day. Wife and I enjoyed our sausage pasta dish and salads. Very good food and ambiance. Keep up good work.

exactly what i was craving for a pizza, super tasty and lots of jalapeños in my request. *the bite in the photo is from myself haha, not delivered like that* i liked the pepperoni being in slices, surprisingly made it easier to eat without the whole cheese topping falling off and crust was fluffy ( i am not a crust eater, typically). 10” is perfect for one with leftovers. delivery was quick as well, ordered through toast.

I've been waiting for this place for years. I had the combo pizza with salami instead of Canadian bacon. The garlic cheese bread with amazing marinara and their ranch. Love when restaurants take the extra time to make things in house. I even took some extra ranch home lol. Next time we do desert. The owner is absolutely the sweetest and we lived 6 hearing their story behind the restaurant!!!

Friendly staff, small and cozy place to quickly grab something to eat. I ordered the Italian sausage pomodorini which was really good. My sister ordered the spaghetti bolognese and unfortunately that one tasted bland and we didn't feel it was worth ordering. The garlic bread was really crispy and delicious, so that was a plus. Overall, I'd say this place is pretty good. I'll have to go back to try their pizza.

Customer service was great. The food was pretty good, we all liked what we ordered; my daughter had the chicken and pesto sandwich and said it was delicious. The garlic knots appetizer was tasty and fresh. We also ordered the Modena pizza and calzone, both of which were good. I would go here again if I'm ever in the area.

Great thin crust pizza. Hard to imagine how to improve on it. The plain cheese was my favorite, believe it or not. High quality. The pepperoni was also very good. As my son says “this place was awesome!” My nephew says “best Italian pizza restaurant ever!”

Stopped in because my car was being worked on and was so surprised. Hole in the wall gem that had excellent service, kindness, cleanliness, and food. Pulled out my computer and they immediately offered me the wifi password. Brought me filtered Kangen water (which is one of the best) chilled in a spotless glass. Brought flavored dipping oil with my meal. So surprised and very impressed. If this is not a regular of yours, it should be.

I'm conflicted between 3 and 4 stars because I'd divide it into pizza and pasta. To start - the pasta wasn't that good. However, the pizza was delicious! I was craving Italian because one of my roommates was heating up some pizza bites and so I stumbled upon Modena on Grubhub. Food was prepared quick and still steaming hot when I received it. Credits to both Modena and the driver for that. I was looking forward to tasting some chicken parm but the one here wasn't quite satisfying. The chicken was made well and perfect when coupled with cheese, but the rest of the dish was mediocre. Honestly it was simple noodles doused with marinara topped with a piece of chicken that received all the love. Would have rather made my own pasta and added chicken. That being said, most if not all pasta dishes are accompanied with garlic bread and another side. Those sides include more bread, salad, or soup. Personally, I chose the soup of the day to be surprised and it was chicken noodle soup. I almost chose extra bread, but I'm glad I didn't. The garlic bread was fluffy but rather bland. Chicken noodle soup was super hot but creamy and delicious. On the other hand, pizza was fluffy and simply looked appealing which added to the overall taste. It was not overly saucy and allowed the toppings to shine. I opted for the Meat 10" with pepperoni, ham, sausage, and salami. I was able to appreciate each meat's flavor due to the minimal sauce versus a fast food joint where they may be a bit underwhelming.

Such a breath of fresh air! Lovely little restaurant with amazing food. The owner/cook/waitress was professional and she was happy to answer all or questions! I had the chicken marsala, my son had chicken carbinara both sauces house made and delicious! Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

It was the second time my mom and I have stopped into this restaurant. I don’t ever leave reviews, but tonight I felt the need to. After recovering from a power outages throughout Maple leaf and being slammed with to go orders, the sweetest woman behind the counter still was able to accommodate us quickly (despite being stressed with the volume coming in and perhaps lack of staff). The rice and chicken soup was amazing (later mentioned that she had made it herself). The pesto chicken pasta and chicken parm tasted like a warm home cooked hug after a long day of wind and rain. This place is special, service is exceptional, and perfectly charming. I have finally found my new favorite local spot.

I ordered delivery, you can set the time...I did and the food arrived on time, piping hot and delicious. So happy with my choice as the hubby was getting home late from a nursing shift and really wanted spaghetti and meat balls. Awesome food.

We went for my grandfather's birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the red goat pizza in particular was so good. The staff was the best I've ever experienced at a restaurant. They were absolutely on top of everything, the food came so fast, and they were so nice and friendly! They even gave my grandfather a piece of tiramisu with candles on it and sang with us. Wonderful evening!! Highly recommend the place.

Best pizza I have ever had!!! I bought the Modena special. So much delicious cheese, everything tastes fresh and had so much flavor. The people there were super friendly, the restaurant was clean and organized. You have to try the mini cannolis....mmmmm delicious. Great local business, good prices, especially for the Seattle area. It's one of my favorite places, I will be returning!

Excellent pizza, recommend ordering over the phone instead of online. The online third party that sent my order didn't send the order with the toppings to the store, just a plain cheese. When I explained the problem to the store, they shipped me an entire separate pizza and a dessert! This is excellent customer service and I greatly appreciated it. On top of all that the pizza was great. Easily the best pizza in northern Seattle.

pizzas great, had both the crispy pepperoni and spicy sausage. fair warning, the crispy pepperoni had too much pepperoni for me but if you are a pepperoni lover I would definitely recommend it

Went with my family of four. It was a nice environment, but you could tell most of the business happened with delivery because they are people leaving every 10 minutes. The food was excellent, and they gave us generous portions. The server was very nice, seems to be family run. They even gave us a complimentary tiramasu with our check!

the food is great, and the people care about their customers. i had a shaky, and then amazing experience with modena last night. here's the details... background: they’ve been delivering to our house for months now—great food, but the driver never seems to remember to reads the details for not ringing the buzzer because of our dog. after the last dog going crazy moment, i decided to give them “one more chance.” last night, i ordered carry out… and i got home to discover they messed up the order. when i called to tell them what had happened, before they could even sense my frustration they immediately sent out a replacement order. 10 minutes later they were calling me from the curb (the driver remembered me previously asking why they didn’t read the order note) and then handed me a bottle of red along with a new order for my troubles. it was the kind of customer service that makes you feel both guilty for your frustration and a part of a close knit community. i love this place.

We went to Modena’s pizza and pasta today. Will Never go else where for pizza again! We had cheese bread and pizza! The food is fresh and one bite makes you want to over eat and get more to go! But they won my heart over with dessert! The tiramisu is the BEST! Could eat that every day,all! The have a life time costumer out of me, especially for dessert!

Finally a good italian place! We had gnocchi and spaghetti from the lunch menu. For less than $10 we were served large portions with a choice of soup or salad. The salad was fresh with house italian dressing. Chicken noodle soup was on spot for a rainey day. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and fluffy. The meatballs were delicious. We're excited to try their pizza.
