Reviews of Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls

I went here two days in a row for lunch over the weekend. It is definitely busier closer to 1pm, but if you order online, that will save you from waiting in the queue. Just know that when it gets busy, there's no one stationed to facilitate the online orders so you have to wait until they call out a new order to ask for your bag of food.
I have had the lobster grilled cheese, Connecticut lobster roll, tater tots, and lobster bisque.
Lobster grilled cheese is a bit pricey for the size, but it tasted good and I would eat it again.
Connecticut lobster roll was delicious, but I wish it had additional toppings so it wasn't just buttered lobster pieces in bread. It's $22 which is the same price as all the other types of lobster rolls that has toppings.
Tater tots were a bit disappointing for the price. It was $4 for a portion that's on the smaller side and definitely not crispy enough to hold its shape when stabbed with a fork.
The lobster bisque was goodl. Both times I ordered it, I got it as a side to the main entree to make it a combo order. The flavours were consistent and I can see the appeal to add lobster pieces on top but I'm not sure if I would for an additional $5.
Overall, I can see myself returning in the future.

As an avid lobster roll lover - having dozen upon dozens in Maine as well as making them myself - Mason's nails the flavor and freshness. Tastes like it's right off the boat. Get the classic piled high Bar Harbor.
Will be back. Also, the bathroom is nice and clean. Always a good sign!

Fantastic lobster rolls at a reasonable price. Highly recommend getting the Bar Harbor for the extra lobster. Don't know where they get their lobster from but it tastes better than any lobster roll I've had around here.

Rolls are $22 and any side + drink is $4-6 additional. Can even pay a few to overstuff it. I ordered the Connecticut Roll and fountain drink. This is the warm roll with butter overload. My family got the classic & they enjoyed too!
Worth the money because all lobster, no filler. The bread was crispy and soaked in a bit of the butter - a lot more of the butter dropped out. On table can season with salt, pepper or old bay (but not necessary). Orders fulfilled quickly.
Can sit inside - there are quite a few tables.

$22 for a lobster roll.
Is this a snack for royalty? Are these lobsters imported from the northeast or something?
You don't go here if you're starving. You go here if you're like kind of hungry but not really. 3-5 bites and gone. The roll and tater tots are very tasty at least. Not so salty or greasy.
This place is counter service. There's a single restroom for use. Moderate amount of seating for dining in. Service seems fast. Somewhat clean place. Menu is very simple.

They say "Keep lobster simple" and they do keep it simple, and tasty! A bit pricey though. I liked it and will be back. Lobster bisque is delicious as well.

I can't say I'm a lobster roll connoisseur but these rolls were full of big chunks of lobster. Their clam chowder was also very good. You can either get a traditional roll which is cold or a hot version. Be sure you know what you're in the mood for.

I was here from out of town. I ordered the classic lobster roll. It is a delicious tasting roll with lots of juicy lobster pieces. I would say it is definitely pricey for what it is. I went there on a weekend, it wasn’t too busy.
The staff aren’t as hospitable as most other places I’ve been to in Seattle.

Tasty lobster on a warm soft roll. Very expensive for what it is though. Was surprised that for the $22 roll (27 with taxes and some tip), the only included side was a pickle.
