Super yummy pizza here!! The classic pepperoni was very generously layered, and had perfectly crispy edges 😋 The house made tomato sauce was really nice too! We also enjoyed the Mad Scientist! The pesto sauce was delish, and it had a great cheese to topping ratio 👌 The only thing that wasn’t perfect was really the fault of DoorDash / Caviar I think! We ordered a Madaccini pasta assuming it was a fettuccini with white sauce, but actually got penne with tomato sauce. I saw on the actual Mad Pizza website that there is a choice for sauce available, but DoorDash doesn’t show any options! So if the owner reads this, it would be great if you could check on that, since it was a disappointing to get a different pasta than we expected, but understandable when working with third party apps :) Overall it the food was great and we will definitely be ordering again!

When I entered, the gentleman making pizza didn't seem to notice. That's fine, he was busy and I didn't want to distract him. But then I walked over to the order counter and no one else was in the place. He never turned around to ask if I was ready. Finally had to walk back over and get his attention. Ordered a 17" Prozac Pie. It was ready fast! He charged me $32 even though the menu says $29. (The web site does show $32). The pie was a weird shape. The crust was crispy (we like that) and held up well. There was plenty of cheese and other ingredients, except the sauce was spare and poorly spread. Some slices had no sauce. Overall it tasted good, but was not a good experience. It's close to where we live so we'll probably be back, maybe they were having a bad day.

Edit: I had an issue before ordering with doordash and the owner was kind enough to call me back and treat me with a new pizza to fix it. I recommend this pizza place. The owner and the staff are great people. They will help you out and serve you great pizza.

Pizza is seriously lacking sauce. It's a beautiful pizza that is cooked to perfection!! bits of crispy and burnt crust and pepperoni and loads of cheese. It's almost perfect. I just wish it had more than a fraction of a millimeter of sauce. The wings are a 1/10, however, as they weren't crispy. Soggy and bad quality. Full of fat and grisle. Hardly any meat on them. Ranch is bomb though 💯 Overall, I don't think I'd eat here again.

Huge slices of pizza.. about $5 a slice.. really good.. I love greasy pizza and this damn near had the grease running down my hand.. So good.. 1 slice is definitely enough for lunch.. I bought 2 slices 1 time and ended up giving the 2nd slice away.. I can't eat that much for lunch.. specially if I'm not trying to pass out at work.. 😂

I absolutely love mad pizza. I got it delivered my first night in Seattle, ate it out of the box in bed. It was fun and comforting and delicious and I have never been disappointed. It’s thick and cheesy, SERIOUS pizza. Will probably order more today.

I usually don't like mad or angry when pertaining to food but it's a pizza pie and you have to try a slice or two, right. They offer individual slices as well as whole pies. Added a salad and wings. Did someone say pizza, I'll be back.

It has pizzas (whole pie and slices), salads, appetizers, and already some pasta. The pizza's menu is plenty of options, including a vegan option, but you also can create your own. By the slice has 4 different options, but none is vegan.

I've ordered from here 3 times. It was amazing 2 times but the 3rd was nearly inedible. The pizza was somehow both over and under done, with a dark and super crunchy crust yet raw in the middle. The mozzarella sticks were a joke - pale and cold. I won't be ordering again after wasting $45.

I went to the U-district in Seattle to hook up with some friends after work. I did some drinking and got the "munchies". I saw this place and it was still open at 1130pm. Everything is cooked to order. I also noted this was where all the "Uber" driver's were hanging out. Note to self. So I decided to order the personal pan called "Sybil's Breakdown". Excellent pizza 🍕 pie! Oh, and your eyes aren't deceiving you. Those are mandarin oranges, a pleasant suprise😊✨

I only had the Mad Life Crisis pizza, in a nutshell this is the best pizza in town, I recommend it and encourage people to try it especially those who love garlic!!

Let’s first start with the fact that we had our food delivered and even though by the time we went to eat it it had slightly cooled it was still magnificent. The garlic cheese knots were very cheesy and delicious dipped in the marinara sauce. Our veggie pizza was excellent. Substituted the olives for garlic and the mixture of the other veggies and especially the basil cooked into pie and the fresh basil that was added after was tasty. Overall best pizza we’ve ever had in Seattle. Would recommend to anyone wanting pizza in the Seattle metro area. Will definitely be eating here again.

Never dissapointed. Unless using an app like Doordash or the like. If you call they will deliver nearby and accept cash or card. We always get the Mad Life Crisis and add pineapple. My other half likes the Jamaican Jerk wings. I wish they had boneless wings. Worth the price. Never a long wait if ordered directly. Perfect pizza. Avoid the apps n go the source for take-out or delivery.

I love the pizza at the Mad Pizza on Madison. The crust is always fully cooked and not doughy or gross. Also I like that I've never gotten sick from the food here. Customer service is great too.

My boss ordered like 15 pies for the crew. The 'za was absolutely delicious. So delicious, in fact, that, not only did I steal an entire leftover pie for myself on the way to out, I had to ask my boss where they ordered the pizza from, just so I could order some for myself in the future. Whatever mozzarella they're using has a picture perfect "stretch" and texture to it. Just all around good stuff. Can't praise it enough.

Got a pizza, salad, and garlic knots. Honestly the salad is saving this review, it was really good cesar for a pizza place. The garlic knots and the pizza were disappointing. I ate them, but I wish I had ordered from somewhere else. Just very meh.

One of the best Pizzas i have ever had! Got the Smokin Chicken. Very delecate and creamy riccotta cheese crust, the cheese just blends in so well. Great toppings as well. Little pricey though. I guess you get what you pay for! Definitely ordering again!

So for the longest time I had this guy mixed up with mod pizza. Boy oh boy !! this guy is nothing like mod pizza. . MAD mad pizza is mad! mad! mad!! This pizza is sooooooo ,,,,oh my God, I don't even know! what's in that sauce? and that cheese!!! holy cow!! Hands down the best place for vegan cheese on a pizza. Most vegan cheeses have a different texture than real cheese but this one is basically indistinguishable from real cheese. The toppings are tasty and the pizza has good crust too. Friends say that their regular pizza is delicious as well. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, especially if you want toppings, so I only buy it as a treat. In my opinion it's worth it 100%.

My favorite pizza in Seattle. The only place I’ve been (in Seattle) so far where I don’t begrudge them the price. A friend of mine doesn’t like it because she prefers thinner crust. I like my crust a bit doughy and Mad Pizza hits the mark. The amount of cheese and the flavor of the sauce are delightful as well. Keep it up!

Their meatball sub is great, and the pizza is really good but I've never gotten it by the slice. I find that its never as fresh since thats just how pizza places work. Saw a poor review about old single slices, stop being cheap, if you expect fresh pizza pay for one! Everything I've gotten from here was great, and I would order from here again.

A super convenient location, however, the pizzas are always preposterously greasy and floppy. The ingredients are hit or miss, some days they are full of flavors, while others are less enjoyable. Inconsistency is the worst quality in food, but it's not ever truly bad...

The pizza tastes really good. It's hard to explain why, I just really like how their pizza comes out. The people there are usually pretty laid back too. They sell by the slice up until later at night but even after that, they can make you a fresh pizza pretty quick. So far, this is easily my favorite pizza place in the city. P.S. like somebody else said, if you want a fresh slice, don't be cheap - bypass the premade sides and order a fresh pizza. That's common sense 101

Why choose between Pizza and Pasta when you don't have to? The Mad Mac 'n Cheese Pizza is delicious and will satisfy both cravings. This Pizza is the best, period! I enjoyed it thoroughly... fair warning it will make you skip dessert. Also, the staff was great and accommodating to our large group. Can't recommend enough. Eat here, you will enjoy it.

Had a meatball sub before and it was delicious. Plenty of seating for groups and has two levels. Friendly service. Update: Had the Pepperoni slice and Bread sticks. Great lunch value and delicious. Now 5 stars.

When my friend was here in his car to pickup and order to deliver.... The place was closed. It could've been because of the snow but they may be a good place. Though they don't seem to have good communication with the web or even to customers. I may be wrong but that mistake of a lot of people ordering for this place to be closed was kinda disappointing to my friend who delivers. And the customers who didnt get their orders. Not a bad place though. Looks nice when it's open.

They def mess up every time we order, but we always get both pizzas soooo *shrug*. Also, they say they're open til 10 but they don't take orders on the phone after 9:45. They're a cool place and def better than the one closet to us. Cool people, def make the neighborhood friendly.

Great pizza obviously, but also amazing staff. Friendly and kind folks here. I imagine they get a lot of business from the hospital and they are always a bit of a smiling face to talk to. The salads are also wonderful. Buy a slice or three. Great stuff

I pick up food for a variety of customers. Yesterday a local ordered garlic, cheesy knots and a pizza.. I proceeded to deliver to them to the family in Ballard. My entire car had the most amazing aroma .. I ended up ordering those cheesy garlic knots for myself later.. $6.00 for 6 with sauce.. So Yummy...

This pizza is one of a kind!!!!!! If you're looking for a good traditional slice come here. If you're looking for something because you haven't eaten all day, try their double-crusted/stuffed pizza. If you're looking for something more creative and unique, try their BBQ Pesto Chicken! You can't go wrong by choosing to get Mad Pizza as your go-to when getting a nice pie. REASONABLE PRICES. We went there right before closing so we were the only customers there. The owner (or the employee) was super nice and gave us 2 extra slices of pizza for really no reason. It doesn’t seem like it’s cuz they were closing because he was still baking more. Taste wise, it’s just ordinary good pizza. I like cheese and their pizza has a lot of cheese. But it is a little bit oily though. But I value service more. So this place is great!!!

This would be considered a four star if they didn't build the pizza we ordered for delivery inccorectly. I will give them the benefit of the doubt knowing that it is PAX weekend and the town in packed! Additionally I'm not a huge fan of lots of cheese with less sauce but that is completely my preference and someone who loves higher amounts of cheese could love it. Side note, the 6 pack of soda delivered was perfectly cold which was a major plus.

I asked them to draw a picture inside the box for my friend, i had ordered the pizza online from out of state and they delivered before the expected time. Friend said pizza was excellent! I got a picture of everything and it looks as good as she said it was. I owe these guys a tip since I don't think she had cash to get them this time.
