Oh my God.... this hit the SPOT!! For $37.00 I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 order of onion rings, fries, 1 kids chicken strip meal, large soda, large chocolate malt skake. This was well worth the money after spending rhe morning at the Zoo. The children's food are combos they come with drinks and a side. The One con is that there are no adult meals and i did not see a restroom. All items are sold separately, drinks, sides, shakes.

There are some good burger places in town but the difference here is the price. You won't go broke. Its about the same as McDonald's pricing but obviously way better. And the service is excellent. My son loved his burger fries onion rings and shake. My wife and I loved pur burgers and the bill wasn't bad. At 206 we would've spent another 30 dollars.

Kidd Valley make a spectacular burger, fries, Onion rings and Fried mushrooms. Not to mention their really tasty Milk Shakes. The inside eating is comparable to any other driver in... however I have always found Kidd Valley to be much more relaxed and friendly than your mass marketed eateries.

One of the best burgers I've ever had!! I was passing though the other day with the family and we decided to stop by. BEST DECISION EVER!! I had the bacon cheese burger and it was AMAZING. The have an amazing selection of sodas and the staff is super friendly! I would definitely recommend going if you are in the area!!

My car broke down and I had to coast into their parking lot and they were very kind in letting me stay cool inside while I waited for a tow truck. I ordered a drink and burger along with some sides. A little pricier than expected, but that's what happens when you go in with the intent to buy lunch for your laborers. Cheeseburger was good quality for a modest price(under $7) Try the PB&J shake, with Oreo. Also. They aren't kidding around with their garlic fries. I'm gona have garlic breath for a month after this haha

Friendly staff and some good food. I recommend the chicken supreme and the Oreo shake. The location is really small and parking is limited and tight (and added degree of difficulty to get or out of with the congested traffic on the corner). Recommend making this a walk/bike destination. *Note: we ordered ahead via DoorDash

Burgers are the bomb! Prices reasonable, nice locale, clean, nice staff. First time I ever saw one of these signs on the bathroom! Can someone tell me what that third humanoid shape is supposed to be? Is that a half dress or half pregnant or what???

The food was great. Their onion rings and mushroom sampler is aoooo good! Well worth the cost🔥 My husband had been raving on this place for a few weeks and finally I got to try it. Their little bacon cheeseburger is PLENTY big if your getting a side.

The service was good and the sweet potato fries were nice, but the two burgers we got were both lukewarm (not even enough to melt the cheese), and the mushroom burger had no flavor. Not even salt on the mushrooms or patty. I ate it in the car as I pulled out of the parking lot, so it was not an issue of it being lukewarm by the time I got home. I was really disappointed.

We showed up with just a few minutes left before closing and the staff was still very friendly and gave us great service. The young man working the front counter was beyond welcoming and made sure we didn’t feel bad for showing up last minute. The kitchen staff was also very nice! The food is great but we’ll more so be back because of the exceptional staff.

This place is worth going to if only for the garlic fries. In fact, that's usually all I ever have. That and their milkshakes. The rest of their menu in my opinion is just okay. It's not bad but it is nothing special. They are definitely though worth it for those garlic fries. As long as you're a garlic lover because boy are they covered in garlic.

Pretty quick. They were busy with lunch rush. Very friendly service. $2.40 for a whole wheat bun upgrade, yikes. Very tasty though. Had the breaded mushrooms with. Excellent.

This is an epic Seattle Burger Joint! Quality threw and threw. The flame broiled patty is where the magic start. This is last meal material. The textured flavor layering is top notch. The tarter sauce fries and shakes are timeless. They have been serving as much as possible threw the last few years and I’m glad there still here. Go watch there and support local goodness.

During my first visit I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu. I tried the Garden Burger and was pleasantly surprised by that, too! The prices are reasonable as far as Seattle prices go. The main reason for this review is to give Sergio G a shout out! He was serving a number of customers, answering phones, and fulfilling third party orders, and doing great with everything! He knew what he was doing, and he was very kind. Basically, he was killing it! Based on my experience, I would recommend this spot for a quick bite or a shake :)

Kidd Valley is some good time food. Can't go wrong with the fried mushrooms and tartar sauce. A boysenberry milkshake is my go-to every time which is amazing. And I usually get just a basic Burger. Good times to be had with great food.

Burgers were fantastic! Sides were disappointing. Garlic fries are their trademark standard at Mariner games but todays fries were unsalted and not mixed in with garlic puree. Resembled plain fries with a scoop of minced onions on top😕 also ordered a bag of onion rings. Soggy and flavorless. Not spending 4.25 on sides anymore

I love kidd valley the milk shakes the big juicy hamburgers the deep fried sides are always good ...but be warned they are expensive. Yes very pricey. If you can part with your green. Then for sure. If your budget is tight. It will have to be another night ........ok!

The meat patty quality on the burgers is not the greatest. Has a lot of filler material like tendons bone fragments etc. The patties were compressed and stiff indicating that they aren't made fresh daily. About what you could expect for the price. Food quantity is good though.

Burgers are excellent, service was quick, and the orders were right. Staff was very kind and patient. The styling of the building, inside and out, was very cool. The only downside I can even think of is that there wasn't too much parking, but it's Seattle, so there's no parking anyway. Good place for lunch, a quick bite before an event, meeting with a friend, going on a date, or even just a Tuesday night.

Kidd Valley's burgers are LOADED. Seriously! Try to eat one of their burgers without any lettuce falling out. There shakes are what you would expect (pretty good). Their garlic fries lack the proper amount of garlic but, the fries themselves are great. Overall I recommend Kidd Valley to everyone.

Fabulous meal -- just exquisite -- almost perfectly ideal American-burger-joint dining! The menu has ... Gosh ... Just, everything that represents classic down-home cookin' on the backyard BBQ, Pacific-Northwest style, ranging from thick juicy grilled burgers, to Burger-Dip sandwiches with au jus, crispy chicken sandwiches or fish sandwiches, fish and chips, garden burger, vegan burger or mushroom burger... Can you think of another kind of burger/sandwich to offer?!? Oh wait -- they did -- they have a club sandwich, too! Amazing, right?!? And the side-selections are equally varied and scrumptious, including: fries, sweet-potato fries, garlic fries, mushrooms (random, right?!?), and onion rings (how long has it been since you've seen onion rings on a menu?!?). You can slurp this all down with a classic cola or a delectable shake (personally, I think combining half pineapple and half boysenberry makes for the most blissfully refreshing and temperately indulgent quencher of thirst when enjoying a rich hearty meal -- or even on its own when enjoying rich hearty moments of all kinds!). I must say, however, the menu DOES fall short of truly ideal perfection -- it's missing pie -- if it only had pie, I would say, "BRAVO! Good show! Any critique have I? Heavens NO! BRAVO!" But, it doesn't have pie -- therefore, I say, instead, "My oh my, it's to die for -- TO DIE! And I would... But, can't lie... If only they had pie..."

Great place. I ordered in and got a milkshake and a burger. They made my milkshake and gave it to me within 60 seconds of me ordering it. The food was delicious. Only con I experience while there was some strange, inappropriate drama one of the cooks was making with everyone else. But everyone was nice and friendly, especially the guy at the counter. Great "fast food" place in this neighborhood.

I'm going to try to find another opportunity to stop by Kidd Valley because I cannot believe this experience was typical. I was double charged for $10 worth of drinks (charged for fries+drinks combos and then charged for the drinks on top, and also charged for juice boxes in addition to the full price of kids meals that include juice boxes). This brought my order total past $50 for four burgers, fries and drinks and I was a bit distracted while paying so I didn't notice til we got home. I alsp ordered plain cheeseburgers for the kids that didn't end up plain. I can accept accidental overcharges and little mistakes on the order, but only if the food is great. Unfortunately, everything tasted as though the kitchen ran out of salt. Fries and burgers were both completely under-seasoned -- as in no apparent salt at all. I'm gonna chalk this up to everyone having an off day at Kidd, but gotta give a three star for now. Frankly it might even be a bit generous. I'll update if I have a chance to go back.

Always a local favorite. Great burgers, great fries, classics that don't need lots of crazy toppings (though they do have some good extras). The milkshakes are simply amazing The Lake Washington Blvd location has the best views and is very popular for a sunny lunch spot so be ready for lines and no tables in the summer. The beach is across the street. Overall, one of my favorite lunch spots and an excellent meal every time.

Maybe in another city it'd be 5 stars. But there are just too many awesome burger joints in Seattle. I think the burgers would taste better if they didn't smother them with that weird tasting shredded iceberg lettuce. They soak the lettuce in an anti-oxidation chemical; definitely has a taste.

I came in with my family on vacation and we ordered kids' meals, burgers & shakes. It was so well made, every detail was noticeable. How they heated the bun just so, and the cheese was melted the right amount. The shake was the best shake I've had! I ordered the peanut butter & banana, worth the small charge for an extra flavor - this one is a winner! We like the fries as well & the kids ate their entire meal! Thank you!

Usually nice service. Good food. Ok environment for dine in, even outdoor seating available. A few vegetarian options and good sides like fried mushrooms and the usual fries and onion rings. Occasionally specialty burgers will adorn the menu. Has 2 on site parking lots and conveniently located next to the woodland park.

I only have a 45 minute break and I went ( with 45 minutes still to spare) and my order took like 30 or so minutes. The chicken sandwich and the onion rings weren’t very good but the shake ( malt ) was really good!!!!!! The staff were very nice and the their was a large group ( with rowdy people) and they kept their cool. I may not come here for food but I’ll definitely come for the shakes!

This place has it all: Burnt burgers, limp fries, overworked staff, filthy tables and benches, items missing from our order and an astronomical bill ($43 for 1 adult and 2 kids). The onion rings and shakes are good. Edit: I see the owner has personally responded to a lot of the ratings, so I added another star because I feel bad for leaving a negative review. Perhaps my visit was an anomaly.

Great little spot that's always delicious and well kept. The orders don't come out as quickly as McDonalds or something like that, but you get much better food for your money. The shakes are awesome, I suggest the pineapple. The location is good, but sometimes parking can be rough due to the intersection this restaurant is at, coupled with the small parking lot. Worth trying out or maybe even ordering through DoorDash or something.

Kidd Valley is a family favorite. The garlic fries are the best! Despite this, sometimes the volume of garlic is lacking, so if you're taking them to go check it before you leave. if you get less than ½ a cup, take it back to the counter. Enjoy!

A jewel of a bygone era, this is one of only a partial handful of the remaining Kidd Valley burger outlets left.. it maintains to this day, a large following of people who will give testament that it IS the best burger in the Seattle area. A diverse menu of creative choices is found here, with plenty of fries AND if an old fashioned malted milk shake is what you have a craving for. This is one of only a few local places who still know how to make the and offer them up for a rich taste of nostalgia.

I love their double bacon cheese burger with grilled onions, a large order of wallawalla onion rings, some deep fried mushrooms and a boysenberry shake. Add in the fact that you are in one of the nicest communities in the region. The Wallingford, Green Lake, Freemont and Phinney Ridge convergencezone is without a doubt one of my top 10 neighborhoods in the country and I am always taken back by the way that area changes so dramatically each time I'm there but some how retains it's simple recognizable beauty blended with the quirky nature of the residence and business owners. This kid valley location has stood the test of time in this ever changing and dynamic neighborhood and that is a testimony to the enduring nature of the ownership all of the staff past and present and the great fair that they offer to the people of this region. The day that kidde valley is no longer in this location will be a truly sad day for me and thousands of others that grew up going here after baseball games, a trip to the zoo, or just a day swimming at the lake and playing put put golf. Great food and great memories always a stop of mine when I'm in the region! All hail the G/O's

Just a quick walk from the Park and the Zoo. Excellent for bus drivers who are dropping kids off and parking for a few hours at the Zoo. They serve good burgers, have an indoor seating area and a classic American diner atmosphere. A+ establishment and the prices are reasonable. They'll bring the food right out to you.

Big fan of this classic, quality burger joint. They have both the old school as well as some modern twists, which is great considering the tiny size of the place. I particularly like the Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger and usually share the garlic fries (with a ton of GARLIC) with my boys.

Kidd Valley is a favorite, local, pretty-quick, counter-serve burger place in Seattle area. Pros: Perfect classics including basic burgers or a variety of American and Northwest classic flavors with in-season additions like bacon, avocado and Swiss and or sweet potato fries with garlic (if you ask). Not quite gourmet but good and mid-range expensive. Cons: Tight quarter seating. And, there are always new employees who don't seem to remember you, so its always like you're anywhere USA -- and they are even somewhat depressed and grumpy.

I love going here for lunch the food is pretty good and they have an ice cream machine! Love getting shakes and fries with tartar sauce as a treat from here. The service is GREAT and so are the employees. Highly recommend. :)

One of the best local fast food options in Seattle. It may not have the ambiance or variety of places like U-Needa Burger, but the service and quality of the food is excellent. Highly recommend their signature bacon cheeseburger, milkshakes, and onion rings. When in season, their onion rings are made from Walla-walla sweet onions - and how sweet they are!

I feel like they do a very good job of hiring staff at this location. Always friendly and I haven't had any issues with incorrect orders. The food is good, not great, and pretty expensive. But so much better than the regular fast food joints so I'll keep coming back.

Delicious burgers and fries - the burger dip is fantastic, as are the garlic fries. There is also an unwritten "mini" menu for those who would like a lighter meal - just specify that you want e.g. a "mini fish" sandwich. Shakes are excellent also.

Savory burgers, delicious desserts, and appropriate appetizers. I highly recommend their sweet potato fries and apple pie shake. The apple pie shake is like drinking pie-a-la-mode. It's not as chunky as you would expect. Basically the consistency of an oreo shake.
