Love Ivar's Seafood Combo plus the amazing view! I was out looking for something to photograph and noticed the sun on the Olympics! Ate lunch and went across the street to Houghton Park and got out my gear and started taking pictures.

Love the fish and chips. Great chowder too but I rarely get it because I enjoy the fish and chips so much. One a nice day there is a park across the street that is a great place to take your food and enjoy it.

Always a great experience here! Good location, right on the Lake Blvd which is close to several beaches in Kirkland and close to downtown which is a pretty place to walk and shop. I had the 3 piece Alaska cod and it was delicious! Quick service, just maybe go outside of lunch hour to avoid a longer wait.

Very friendly staff and great location + parking. Recommend fish and chips and Salmon Chowder. Grilled halibut may not be a good choice. I think it's either grilled from frozen or portion being very thin quickly overcooks.

Great location, across from a beach park with access to water, and children play area. Food is always great, especially the fish and chips combos. I tried the both the cod and halibut ones and they are good. The combo comes with tartar and ketchup, and fries. Some seatings inside with windows to the lake, but the outside tables are great on a nice day. Some tables have umbrella and others don't. -- Covid update. Currently serving both dining indoor and outdoor.

Amazing views of the lake!! Of course if you're lucky to find a spot in the outdoor patio. Try their clam chowder in sourdough bread bowl it's really delicious. Very reasonably priced as well.

First off the view is great! Especially when the weather is good. The food was excellent. I ordered the fish and chips and also some clam chower and they were both very good. The clam chowder was some of the best I've ever had! Definetly a place for anyone to try.

I had the scallops and chips, a cup of chowder and an order of the Cajun shrimp. The shrimp were awful! I ate only two. They were fried too long so the crisp on the outside was REALLY crisp. And the shrimp tasted old. The scallops were very good- I could've eaten a dozen more! The fries were meh. The chowder was good, though there seemed to be more veggies than clams in it. The restaurant was clean and nice inside and the service was great.

One of my favourite places. The clam and salmon chowder is our comfort food paired with fried shrimps and Cajun style fried fish. We either dine or take out once a week here and it never disappoints.

This location is so much cleaner and friendlier compared to any other Ivar's. I would not go to Ivar's except for this location in Kirkland. My go to is the Jumbo Shirmp and Chips. Made pipping hot, crispy and perfectly fried here. The Clam Chowder is better at Pike Place Chowder but if you're craving fish and chips while on the waterfront, this is a good Ivar's!

We tri d the salmon dinner which comes with a good size of grilled salmon along with rice pilaf, a nice cornbread and some nice portion of green peas. We also had ordered the scallop fry and chips along with the cod fish and chips and they were all absolutely delicious. Food was amazing. Salmon dinner was a very good portion especially with the rice pilaf and is served all day. The corn bread was absolutely mouth watering and just melted in my mouth. We would definitely visit this place in our next visit to Seattle.

We ordered the 5-piece cod, and the food was alright. The portion sizes were smaller than expected, and we hoped to be able to share it between two people (would have been better to get another meal). I think maybe ordering the salmon or halibut would be better. Otherwise, the staff here is nice, the service was very quick, and the outdoor seating was great!

Wait staff was pleasant, the food was actually prepared quickly nice and hot. My only complaint was I saw the sign at the pickup parking with a number to call however I was informed on the phone that it was either order online or come inside to order. Outside of that which was certainly not the employee's fault the order was tasty and the counterperson brought it out to the car. I would buy there again.

Ivar's Seafood bar is always my favorite. Their Kirkland location is slightly pricier as compared to the Bellevue one though, could be because of the lakeside view. I should visit for lunch sometime.

The location is delightful. Just across the street from Lake Washington the outside seating enjoys the view. Food was delicious: Cod for me and clam strips for hubby. Clam strips and salmon salad for our companions. Service was prompt: prices are reasonable. They could use having paper menus for outside seating to look at before going inside to order, otherwise, for casual, affordable dining at a wonderful location we recommend Ivar's in Kirkland.

Iconic Seattle. Always tasty. Hard to believe it is fast food.My fav is the Halibut and a side ceasar. The lettuce is always fresh! The clam chowder is a must. It is a little expensive, but worth it. After all the fish is quality.

I can't see any downside this new restaurant in Kirkland. I hope it works out over the long run. Their location should be a real boom during the summer. I'm here in the off season and find them and their chips delicious. The counter guy was exceptionally helpful showing that you can find good help these days. If he keeps that good attitude he'll go far, and it's appreciated by customers.

Rather high prices for less fish. Used to be $8 for two pieces of fish that were 4 by 4 inches. Now the same price for two 1 by 3 inch fish sticks. Still tasty and crunchy fish just less for your money.

Decent fish 'n' chips (but not traditional batter, more like breading) with some Northwest options such as chowder and salmon. Wait times can be long very long at times and this location seems chronically under-staffed.

The Kirkland Ivar's Seafood Bar is the nicest one I've been to. Lovely patio with hanging lights and flower baskets overlooking Lake Washington. And of course the Ivars seafood we all know and love. On top of that supercharged customer service. Go and get some chowder, some clam strips, some cod and chips, you know you want to!

We love Ivar's overall. The fish and chips is excellent in either version - pollock or cod. The pollock pieces are slightly larger than the cod. The salmon dinner is good to very good, with some variability there, usually very good.

This is a Seattle classic. When I was a kid, there was an actual Ivar with a ukulele - which is strange -- Scandinavian and Hawaiian string instrument. Food is... the same as I remember. Fresh cod filets. The best tartar sauce ever. When I was there last, an elderly couple was having trouble deciding. The young woman working the cashier station was sooo kind and patient. The manager quietly apologized. I was thinking the world could use a little more patience and kindness -- perhaps best served with some fresh fish and chips and great tartar sauce.

(Translation) Right on the beach of Kirkland, the scenery is good, overlooking the downtown of Seattle. The menu doesn't look interesting, but it's a pleasure to order. Fast food prices, taste really good. I really like Baby prawn, it is crispy on the outside and sweet and crispy on the inside. The fish burger is also good, quite flavorful and not dry. The chips are delicious, the drinks are American style, and the lovely thing is iced black tea. If you come to the park to play, it is good to take a nap here or take it away. (Original) 正好在Kirkland的湖滩边上，风景是好的，遥望西雅图downtown。菜单看起来没啥兴趣，但是点到手却是开心的。快餐价格，味道确实很好。超级喜欢Baby prawn,外面酥酥的，里面香甜脆嫩。鱼堡也不错，蛮有味道也不干。薯条很好吃，饮料很美式，可爱的是有冰红茶。要是来公园玩，在这里小憩或者是打包带走都是不错的。
