Reviews of Hi-Spot Cafe
Cute brunch spot! You can almost always count on there being a line and wait on the weekends but you can call ahead and get your name down on the list which helps a ton! We loved everything we ordered and would go back again just for Biscuits and Gravy! Also love getting 1 side pancake for the table to share as a last sweet bite!
Amazing food and coffee! I had a cold brew and it was great! For a sweet we tried a cherry and blueberry scone, a plain biscuit and the cinnamon roll and they were all amazing! For my meal I got the Sammy sue and the portions were huge and the meal was delicious! Place was very clean and the staff was friendly! We sat on the patio and it was great weather and great vibes!
Super cute restaurant that gets a little busy. Usually a line! Had to wait for a while before our order was taken, would not come for a quick meal. Very affordable, good-sized plates. Interiors have a cute euro-style home feel. Would come back again.
EGG-ceptional breakfast spot!

Lovely brunch place with a lot of options and nice decor. It was very busy today so I ended up waiting for 30 mins. Calling ahead for a reservation would be ideal for a Sunday brunch I believe. My wife took the El Pacifico which was very good. The smoked salmon in the omelette hit all the right notes. We also took the Sammy sue which was a good sandwich. I wanted to try the orange scone as it looked very good when we walked in but I was too full. 😅. Maybe next time.
Haven’t been here for a long. First time here after pandemic. We ordered full house and Tacos de huevo. Good coffee & chai tea! Great service as well!
Delicious food, amazing coffee, beautiful ambiance especially the outside. I am definitely coming back. I was caffeinated after 1 cup of their drip coffee. It was so smooth and delicious. I had a pancake and I was very impressed by the texture and the syrup they use. I wish I took a picture, but I was too busy eating lol.
I just moved to Madrona Park and I’m already in love with this spot!! The coffee bar is great, delicious pastries. The restaurant has such a great vibe and is cozy. The staff are all SO friendly and attentive and the food is delicious!!! What more could you ask for! AND they are dog friendly 🥰 I will be coming here often, definitely check it out!
Great experience, vibe, and food! Ended up sharing multiple pastries (they were all really good, but cherry almond scone was my fav)! Got one of the omelettes for my entree, which was served up with jam and toast! Jam was amazing! Definitely recommend if you are in the area for breakfast/brunch!
I feel like I’m eating heaven. Wow! Definitely worth the wait - the Hi Spot in Seattle doesn’t disappoint! ❤️ Pictured: Tacos De Heuvo, Chorizo Scramble, and Biscuits and Gravy De La Casa. Great food and customer service!
One of the best breakfast spots in Seattle! Nestled in a house in Madrona, it can get busy and a little tight inside but they now have an outdoor patio with heat lamps outside that was really cozy on a rainy morning for brunch. Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy or the corned beef hash 👍
It's been a while since I've been at Hi Spot since I moved to Burien a few years back. But, today I came back and nothing has changed here, except for the better. The atmosphere is the same and I found the Huevos a la Mexicana is even better with a larger portion than I had remembered and the Bloody Mary is one of the best; actually came with a stalk of celery which I never see anymore.
Lastly, I really like about coming here is getting a cup of coffee in a ceramic cup where I can pay later when I finish breakfast. Although last time I was there asked for more coffee and got a to-go cup. Paid the $28 bill with $40 dollars and left $10 bill. I think this was Seattle passive aggressive code for time for me to leave and pay a 39% tip.
Cute cafe serving Fonte coffee and espresso. Breakfast and lunch. I indulged in Avocado toast swapping out the bread for gluten free toast. Inside and covered outdoors patio seating options.
Hi-Spot is a lovely neighborhood place that I've been going to for over 20 years. Their food is excellent: classic American fare. I can never leave Hi-Spot without ordering a hot cocoa with whipped cream.
I can't remember the name of our server but she was lovely. It was a Monday morning & I sat outside with two girlfriends. I'm a fan of the heat lamp with the torch style large flame, I could feel the heat even a few tables away.
Highly recommend Hi-Spot. It's nostalgic for me but also just homey and cozy and always a pleasant experience.
We’ve been here several times recently & I came here often in high school like 8+ years ago!! The food is delicious, it’s very well priced and the people who work here are super nice and friendly. I’m just knocking one star bc it’s extremely disorganized, you walk in and there’s a wait list on a pad of paper. We had called ahead and put our name down and I saw him skip over our name and call out the name of the people below us so then I said our party for 2 is actually here.. and he’s like oh ok I’ll seat you next. Then we get seated and all the staff is running around helping every table but us, finally after about 15 mins of sitting I grabbed someone who kindly said I’m not your server but I can take your order. And then after we finished eating same thing, had to flag someone down to get the check. But besides disorganization it’s great and definitely one of the better breakfast places in seattle!
Awesome space with walk up coffee/pastry bar or dine in options. I had the Sammy Sue breakfast sandwich with fruit and tasted some of the biscuits and chorizo gravy, all were delicious!! You'll also love the side of bacon, giant thick perfectly cooked slices!! Highly recommend.
Saw the reviews commenting on long waits so we showed up as the door was unlocked at 8. We were sat and had drip coffees within a few minutes. The coffees were never cold or empty which is perfect for a breakfast spot. Food came out fast and hot. All around needed more seasoning but it was yummy.
It’s pretty cold so later up! Probably gets warmer later in the service but even the staff were in their coats and scarves.
This was a pleasant surprise that TikTok did not steer me wrong. It was busy but parking wasn't an issue, the wait was short, and the staff was friendly. It's very homey and reminded me of Sunday morning family brunch. Which can make any homesick transplant feel better.
I found that even though the food was good, the amount of food I got for the price wasn't justified. But the service was lovely and the constant pouring of coffee to top off my cuppa Joe was delightful! Not sure that I'd go again but good vibes overall.
I went there for brunch and loved this little gem. The french toast was really good. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go there again and highly recommend it.
I've been here twice and ordered the biscuits and chorizo gravy both times. You can't go wrong (if you're a meat eater). The staff is super friendly and pleasant to be around. The food is quick, they have wifi and delicious coffee, and outdoor seating. Pastries go QUICK! check 'em out!
Little awkward waiting for a table because you feel like you're in the way, but 100% worth it for the food! So cozy and fun. Will definitely be going back.
Hi-Spot is a gem. It's a cute space, bright and welcoming. The staff are fun and attentive. The food arrived quickly, and was quite tasty.
Very cool spot! The place is very cute and vintage, makes you feel at home. Food was very good (we had the corned beef hash and the huevos rancheros which the hubby raved about!) I also had an English muffin and the jam was delicious!. I missed a bit of flavor in my chai latte but it was good. The servers were sooo nice, I love Seattle's people! Wish we can return soon. Greeting from Arizona! Sadly we didn't take any pictures, we were starving! Lol
Best breakfast in Seattle. Very cozy house converted into a dining spot. Everything on the menu is perfect.
On a random autumn Tuesday morning I was deliberating between a few places to go for breakfast but eventually decided on the Hi-Spot Café. I put in a call for the El Pacifico to go and my order was taken by one of the friendliest café employees it has been my pleasure to encounter. The phone etiquette was top-notch and you could really hear her fun/cool personality come through. About ten minutes later I showed up to pick up the smoked salmon omelette and appreciated her rapport with the other customers too. It really gave the café a homey feel where the employees know the customers and their orders by heart. I left there really happy that I chose Hi-Spot Café for breakfast. To add, the café is cute and quaint and I regret not having gone before the pandemic so I could have enjoyed eating there. To wrap up, the omelette was very nice with a nice dollop of a creamy dill sauce that is a natural pairing with the smoked salmon and the breakfast potatoes were nicely crisp. Finally, the raspberry jam was that vibrant red and tasted fresh with tart and sweet notes. I really recommend anyone to go to Hi-Spot for that hometown café feel. Their service is really what sets them apart.
By far Seattle’s best breakfast. Always on point. — Good luck finding a fruit cup anywhere else with strawberry, kiwi, grape, orange, banana, pineapple, cantaloupe and apple. The person responsible deserves a raise. Classic cafe excellence.
The breakfast tacos are incredible! I substitute the bacon for the veggie sausage and it is absolutely delicious. My favorite brunch spot.
Friendly staff, solid drip coffee, delicious selection of breakfast sweets & savories. 🥞 the chorizo biscuits & gravy is perfectly flavored with a nice kick of spice. …
Good food and service, set in a quaint environment of an old house. Check them. Pro tip that I didnt know. Tell them NO ICE in the mimosas! I still cant comprehend why Restaurants think it's a good idea to water down champagne. For food I had the baked eggs and cheese with chorizo! Takes about 20mins to prepare but always worth the wait!
Most delightful little patio. Visited on a cold, rainy morning. They turned on the heaters and the atmosphere was just lovely. Strong recommend.
Great breakfast place with friendly staff. They have both indoor and outdoor patio seating perfect for families with small children.
This is a perfect brunch spot. Beautiful neighborhood, character filled house morphed into a top noch restaurant, and great people. The food is always good and I always try new stuff. The wait can be long, but for good reason. If you haven’t been... GO!
We love brunch and have been to almost every brunch place in central Seattle. This is my absolute favorite.
The food is delicious and high quality, with a variety of interesting options not found elsewhere.
The service staff is incredibly friendly, prompt, and helpful.
They have a liquor license and serve mimosas, beer, etc, and my favorite: the spot on Americano (americano with baileys).
I suggest this place frequently to friends and family, and go every chance I get!
Great breakfast spot! Nice home converted into a restaurant. The pastries are good and the coffee is strong. Food was excellent
Love love love Hi-Spot! It is a little bit of a travel distance for me so I make it a special trip. The service is always spot on and the food is amazing! The Roundup dish made with chicken sausage and goat cheese comes together quite nicely. There's sourdough bread coupled with their amazing preserves is most pleasing. Best thing there is a coffee shop onsite! That means espresso with your breakfast.
Best breakfast spot in the Central District, right by Lake Washington. Unique looking inside, with widely spaced tables and a friendly, attentive staff.
There was a small 20 minute wait on a Sunday morning, but they have seating and a coffee bar while you wait. The food was served in good time. I got a smoked salmon omelette... The capers were very good addition. Overall, a solid brunch spot.
35 years after my last experience here, I returned. Some of the best Huevos Rancheros ever. Great service, good mochas.
Great place for quick coffee or sit down breakfast. Quick service, and consistent weekend breakfast.
Our first time visiting! It was pretty busy (a Saturday morning) but despite that we didn’t wait long for a seat, the wait staff was attentive and made sure our waters were topped off and the food was well priced, with good sized portions and DELICIOUS. Really enjoyed our visit
One of my favorite breakfast locations. Green eggs and ham is the best! :)
We've been coming here for years and I shouldn't tell you this, because they only produce a limited number each day, but the raspberry scone is what life is about. Nutty, perfect texture, with a puddle of hot raspberry jam. Prepare for battle for the middle earth if you plan to share.
Good place for breakfast and according to the plaque on the sidewalk, they have been in business since 1979!
Love that place for its relaxed atmosphere and weii prepared dishes.
Loved going out for breakfast at an old favorite and seeing how a beautiful old building breathes during these times.
Delicious and spirited breakfast/lunch/brunch joint in the quaint Madrona neighborhood. Tasty pastries and coffee, as well! Busy on weekends - you can't make reservations ahead of time.
Funky old house outfitted as restaurant. Salmon omelette. Yum. LGBTQ friendly.
Love the atmosphere, staff and most of all the FOOD! I’ve tried almost all of it and love. Only thing I’m not a fan of is the tofu dish. Otherwise you can’t go wrong! Other thing to note: this place has a long history in the community. If you want a place that truly is local through and through, you’ve found it.
Love this local place for breakfast and lunch! Hi-Spot Cafe is in an adorable house with a coffee spot at the ground floor. They also have covered outdoor seating. I most recently brought out of town guests here and they loved it too. The bacon is out of this world delicious. The owner talked to us personally and was really kind. I’ll definitely be going back regularly!
Sitting under the heat lamps on the cozy patio was a lovely way to spend Sunday Brunch. The avocado toast was delicious as were the biscuits and gravy. Friendly staff as well!
Great local breakfast joint in cute neighborhood! Recommended to us when visiting from LA and we’ve already been here twice. Friendly, quick and super good!
Wonderful place for brunch! The servers are nice and courteous. They're fast too! Would go again if I'm in town.
Cool house. Had the green eggs and ham. It was a bit dry but tasty. Pretty expensive for eggs. The homemade freezer jam is awesome. They don't put butter on the toast, kind of a bummer. I like melted butter on my toast. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Even though the menu has been reduced due to COVID, still highly recommend this place! The avocado toast was phenomenal!! Very healthy and very tasty! The perfect combination of these two. Always superior service here. The entryway can get slightly crowded and I don’t recommend sitting on the lowest level. When sunny weather comes, sitting on the patio is phenomenal. I come here as often as I can and you should too!
Great local brunch place with a family friendly vibe and great local ingredients. From the locally roasted coffee to the tasty pastries, there's something for everyone that's served with a smile in a welcoming and safe environment.
It's been a while since we've been here. Traveling east and west in Seattle is always a fun, got to see some of the CD on the way here. One little note, please bring back the baked egg dish 🥚😍 …
Great spot with great stuff. My favorite dish is "hush it out"
Great food. Tasty and fresh. Great service.
First time here and the food and service is excellent! Cool little house with plenty of great seats and windows. Outdoor seating when weather warms up!
Brittany and Quinn did a fantastic job making sure my coffee was full and I had everything I needed for a yummy breakfast and excellent guest experience! Many others also worked together to help me and all the guests dining.
There's also a nice little coffee spot just inside the front door if you just want some coffee drinks🤗
Thanks to all for a job well done!!🤗🤗🤗
Thank you to the Owner, Mike for running a great business!
The did is very tasty for breakfast, lunch or brunch. The BLAT (avacado added to a BLT) is a go to along with the Roundup scramble with goat cheese.
Outside seating or inside a charming house.
Mike the owner along with all the servers give Excellent Service!!
And you can walk off the meal in the surrounding charming neighborhood.
Enjoy!!!
I can't say enough good things about this place. So maybe I ate breakfast there three times this week. The staff is delightful, the food is delicious and the coffee and/or cocktails are divine. You won't be sorry, promise.
Love the breakfast fare, particularly the Bengal Benedict.
Pretty good! And I got respectful service as well
“The best kept secret, I guess I just leaked it.” The Hi-Spot has long been my personal favorite and go-to breakfast place in Seattle. They have a diverse and well crafted menu full of breakfast staples such as a breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, etc. Located inside an old house the ambiance is also terrific. One word of caution is that as you would come to expect from a beloved and delicious brunch spot in Seattle, you’re best off getting your name on the list early on the weekend.
Have been going here since I can remember, walking up with my family from a few blocks away. Always delicious food, the cinnamon rolls are a great thing to split or if you have a sweet tooth, delicious with coffee or tea! Love the omelets, home fries are wonderfully seasoned, and the jam and toast are also divine. I've had almost everything on the breakfast/brunch menu, and nothing has disappointed! Great atmosphere inside, as the restaurant was built in house. Also great local art is displayed on the walls and the walls are fun vibrant colors! The servers are very friendly--and very Seattle.
Wonderful breakfast and skilled, accommodating staff. An excellent experience even with a big party including several kids. The patrons were not as thrilled about the kids. Even though they were well behaved. If you're taking one or two littles and they're cooperative you'll be fine.
One of my favorite brunch places in the city. Start with the cinnamon roll and then try any of their super tasty mains. My personal favorites are the breakfast burrito and the breakfast sandwich. My husband can't get enough of the Bengal Benedict. It gets busy on the weekends so prepare to wait a bit. They have a great patio and a unique interior being inside an old house.
6 out of 5. The full house breakfast and Bloody Mary were the best I've ever had. No joke. They have adapted very well during the pandemic and have nice outdoor covered seating with heaters.
Great americana breakfast place! There is plenty of seating. We didn't wait long on a Saturday at noon which was surprising since it's prime brunch time.
Cappuccino was amazing, perfectly foamy and in a large cup - much needed pick me up. I had the Full House breakfast, the pancake was my favorite, extremely fluffy! The bacon was fantastic too. The scrambled eggs were a little dry so I didn't eat much of those.
My sister loved her biscuits and gravy. The chorizo gravy was a unique twist and gave it a bit of a kick which was perfect.
Will definitely be coming back.
Exceptional service. Lovely patio and delicious food. Cannot compliment the servers enough- they were exceptional! Definitely a great spot for breakfast/brunch.
Breakfast all day! There were alot of healthy menu options and great variety to choose from, it was hard but I chose the biscuits and chorizo gravy. It was delicious. Will go back to try another new menu item for next time. Plus the service was very fast, friendly staff and delicious generous size mimosas.
The wait staff are super attentive and friendly. Love this place.
Always busy and always delicious. Very little of their menu can't be cooked in my own kitchen but then I'd have to do it, there'd be a mess to clean up, and it would take longer. Their drip coffee is divine and the old house turned into a restaurant makes for fun seating. Their outdoor patio is nice but the chairs aren't great.
I drive from Fremont to dine for brunch here. The weekends can be pretty busy here. I typically go a few hours before they close. Heads up, if you want a table write your name on the clipboard and grab a coffee. Service is super nice and friendly.
Hi-Spot Cafe is a good local hangout for breakfast, in a converted Victorian house. There are lots of tables squeezed in to each nook and cranny. I’d say the food is 3.5 stars, service is 4 stars and the vibe is 5 stars. The hardest part is getting in to eat, and a typical weekend morning will take you 45 minutes to an hour to dine. Is it worth it? Not really.
The El Pacifico Omelette es Magnifico!! Best omelette I've ever had, seriously!! Service was chill and had a nice covered table out in the patio whist it rained, warmer was great, and stayed dry whole time. We are from AZ traveling on a college visit and met up with an old friend who raved about this place, so pleased we went
I'll be honest, I have a high standard when it comes to breakfast dishes, and I'm rarely satisfied at most places I've been to. If I can cook a better version of the dish myself, then I won't be willing to pay for it. And that's the case for most of the time.
But the breakfast here blows my mind. It's tasty, cooked with perfect combination of flavors. And to top that off, the homey atmosphere is complementary to the meal. Services are friendly too.
I regret for not discovering this place earlier.
There's lots to enjoy about your dining experience at the High Spot. You want good coffee, you'll get good coffee. You want delicious food, that's what you get. You want a calm atmosphere while dining, that's the High Spot. If you like natural light and classic Seattle architecture, check out the High Spot! And you never know who you will run into in this popular Leschi breakfast cafe!
Absolutely wonderful cafe here in Madrona. Amazing food, amazing service, and the best coffee I’ve ever had. Barista Mattise is lovely!
The Hi Spot is a super friendly cafe and brunch joint. Coffee is excellent (Fonté beans) and the Mexican-influenced food is to die for. I always get the El Jeffe.
Consistently delicious and varied breakfast options with good coffee. Quality ingredients, tasy combinations. Cozy setting in an older home. Always good service with personable wait staff. Be prepared for a wait on weekends unless you arrive early. While I have tended to go there more for breakfast, I've enjoyed lunch there as well.
Located in a former home, and has an outside eating area. Best brunch in town, with everything made from scratch. Homey atmosphere, wonderful staff, and quality meals. Best bacon and coffee also! They serve breakfast and lunch.
The Hi spot has interesting takes on classic breakfast. The coffee isn't that good.
Incredible food, incredible employees. Great restaurant.
Best brunch we've had in Seattle. Great menu options, quirky interiors and very unique. Our ten month old loved the Mickey mouse pancake. We will definitely be going back.
Best breakfast in Madrona hands down. My husband and I ate breakfast here 3 of the 4 mornings we spent in Seattle and we felt so welcomed by the staff. It is rare that a waiter tells you that they're glad you're there. The menu item below reminded me of The Princess Bride, just had to share. DO have the French toast, they serve it with the most delicious whipped butter that contains chopped up slivered almonds and the toast itself has an orange flavor. It is VERY good!!!
This place is pretty great. Cute atmosphere and the food and hot cocoa were delicious. I ordered the Sammy Sue and I am craving it again already. Reasonably priced 👌🏼Definitely will recommend a visit here if in Seattle. …
Been here a few times and and love the vibe and food. Its inside of an old house, which makes it super comfortable feeling. The coffee was tastey and food reasonably priced, as i am a broke college student . You should stop looking for breakfast joints and just come to Hi-Spot already!
Delicious spot for breakfast/brunch!
Great breakfast and solid staff. Really good and not overdone Bloody Mary. Portions are generous but not obnoxious. If you're visiting Seattle, this is a great spot to seek out for brunch.
A very decent brunch place that gets busy during the weekend. Service is relatively fast once you are seated, and their servers are very congenial and will chat with you if you engage them. The food is more than adequate though not the best either. For the price, I think it is worth it.
This place sidles the line between standard breakfast cafe and fancy breakfast. For example, the toast is big thick nice bakery bread, but you butter it from butter packets on the table. Pros: atmosphere and service is nice. Food is solid - the home fries are lightly seasoned potato wedges, yum. Cons: my bacon was a bit weak. At $11 for bacon and eggs, it's expensive for what you get. My meal came with a side of tasty raspberry preserves, but not enough jam to cover my two smallish pieces of toast.
Service , Kitchen , Place !!! The best ever for Seattle 🤌🏆🤌🏆🤌🏆
12.4.022 - blonde girl..Beatiful smile 🥵
if she happened to read it - instagram anti_hmota 🤌😁 …
Hands down one of the best places for weekend brunch. Cozy and homey atmosphere. Cinnamon rolls are pretty big, so great for sharing. The Bengal Benedict is a favorite. Curry sauce instead of hollandaise and home fries to go with. The Tofu Scramble is another favorite.
We showed up late morning and had the option of an early lunch or a late breakfast -- which is fantastic when your group needs options! Food was great and service was too.
Super place! Amazingly friendly vibe, courteous staff and delicious food
The food was off the hook. I had the turkey melt which was superb and the garlic potato soup with basil Apple bacon. The atmosphere was quaint I enjoyed the experience and the mail I recommend it to anybody and the prices were good.
One of my favorite brunch spots in Seattle. Great brunch, delicious beverages (coffee, mimosas, etc.) and friendly staff. The wait here can be long so set aside some time, but it’s so worth it!
One of my favorite brunch spots in all of Seattle. Intimate vibe, set in an old house. They don't come out with new additions to their menu, but what they have currently is quite tasty. The Bengal Benedict is a must try.
Hi Spot is a good solid breakfast spot where nothing was incredible, but everything was pretty good. The coffee is good, but pretty much what you'd expect at a dinner. The Sammy Sue sandwich was good with nice thick sourdough bread, egg, lettuce, tomato, and delicious bacon. The bacon here was outstanding, fairly thick cut and very chewable, almost more like pork belly. The bengal benedict was nice with some curry sauce on it, but I could have used more spice and seasoning to bring it out. I ended up adding tobasco sauce which did in fact enhance the flavor considerably. The potatoes were a bit disappointing and a little mushy. Service was good though not outstanding. It was incredibly warm inside on a fall day which was odd and I wish they had the outside part open because we ended up waiting a while to be seated.
Was in Seattle for three days for my honeymoon. My wife and I ended up at the Hi-Spot Cafe twice. Great food, great people, great vibes from this fun cafe. The staff was awesome as they recommended several places to go while in Seattle and even gave us a free cinnamon roll (HUGE) for it being our honeymoon. Highly recommend!
Among our favorites for breakfast and lunch for the past 20 years. Perched in an old multilevel house with small rooms, a nice patio and entry espresso shop. Street parking can be tight at peak weekend brunch hours. Great authentic neighbourhood coffee shop/eatery.
Love their breakfast! The Chorizo Scramble is what I always get and they never disappoint. I love the ambiance of the restaurant...it's a cute lil house. And I can't forget: delicious coffee as well!
By far my favorite brunch spot in Seattle and friendliest service I’ve had in the city!!
Set in an old Victorian home, this cafe is a win win. Light, open, breezy. Plenty of options; baked goods, yogurt w home made granola or a full breakfast... delicious. Service is quick and friendly.
I love this place. The food is always well-prepared and interesting. The ambiance is great although sometimes a little noisy. The service is good. I go out of my way to come here because it's always a treat.
I’ve lived in Seattle for more than 20 years and Hi-Spot cafe is always at the top of my list - for the best breakfast spot in Western Washington. Delicious healthy ‘clean’ food in a charming setting with wonderful people.
I've been going to this breakfast and lunch venue - I've only eaten breakfasts - in a converted heritage house for more than a third of a century, and nothing seems to have changed. Cheese-baked eggs is an outstander. Biscuits and gravy. Great coffee and baked goods.
Great creative breakfast dishes and a lively cafe. Staff were helpful but wait times for more that two is often long.a little cramped on weekends but fast service and good food makes up for it for sure.
A nice establishment with great customer service, variety selection of of food, and the food tastes amazing. Definitely a place I recommend going.
Super cute and slightly eccentric layout, and the food is phenomenal! The curry eggs benedict is definitely my favorite. Great service too!
Always delicious and the staff is so nice. I recommend the avocado toast, although I'm sure everything else is just as tasty.
Wonderful brunch spot. One of my favorites, with fantastic, quick, friendly service. Can be a bit of a wait on weekends, and unfortunately not great for large groups as it gets a bit busy.
Food and drinks are fantastic. The cocktails come in pint glasses for the $9. Only 4 stars because the ketchup isn't housemade when it seems like it should be given the freshness of the other items.
Super tasty chorizo biscuits and gravy. Amazing atmosphere with cool al fresco outdoor seating. A must go to for weekend breakfast if you live in the area
Waiting was confusing - no reservations, but you can call ahead? Food great - excellent mimosas!
I liked their white chocolate mocha, although they didn't have it on the menu, they made an exception for me.
Delicious brunch! Huge and varied menu, very fresh and good size portions. Comfortable , relaxed atmosphere. We willl be back!
Nice place to brunch in Seattle.
Place is incredible good food couple extra bucks more than you want to spend but well worth it all sorts of stuff on them breakfast menu my boss want to take you to breakfast so when and I live in Seattle for 50 years it's my first time being there good nice place good service Anderson central district
A solid option for breakfast or lunch...I'd say 3.5 stars if I could. Lots of choices, so everybody should be able to find something that floats their boat. A but pricey for what you get, but not outrageous by any means.
Best sconces in Seattle. More of a biscuit like scone - like no other. Also, great reliable breakfast. A classic Seattle brunch joint. Be aware of the lines on the weekends.
The food was great. Very tasty. Gourmet food at low price for Seattle. Very friendly staff and fast. Good place to eat. I will go there again when I am in Seattle.
I love this restaurant. Michael is an amazing owner of this very successful restaurant. Consistently good. Great coffee!. Ambiance is wonderful especially Outdoors. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Service is EXCELLENT, food is good but overpriced, and don't even bother coming here on the weekends as the wait will probably take you 45 minutes to an hour. If anything, come here on a weekday morning and accept that you will pay $15 for a fancy scramble.
A surprisingly roomy inside for how tiny it looks from the outside — plenty of seating. Fantastic terrace in the back. Great food and service. Very friendly people work there.
Fantastic food, great coffee and the perfect vibes for a breakfast in Seattle
Delicious food and great drinks. The service was fast and friendly
Delicious! A must eat
Love this place. Great coffee shop. Food is delicious. Highly recommended for breakfast.
Excellent coffee and the cinnamon roll is big enough for two breakfasts. Scones are great since they are nice and moist.
Curry Benedict is FANTASTIC! Gonna order this again.
Very good spot for anytime in the day!
Tasty healthy food, great service. When we come back to Seattle we always eat here.
This cafe has delicious breakfast! I would recommend this place to all my friends looking to eat at a cute and tasty cafe in Seattle.
They serve great coffee and pastries while you wait for your table. (Expect a wait). This a great neighborhood gem for breakfast and lunch.
Great breakfast in the heart of Madrona. Reasonable prices and close quarters! Try the almond/cinnamon butter on your pancakes.
Good drinks, good food, nice service, always super crowded. A Medrona neighborhood staple.
The space is an old house, so that gives it a homey feel, and the bathroom has a tub in it!
Great place for breakfast or lunch. Love the food, the portions are generous and the owner is always working the floor with a smile.
Some of the best poached eggs I’ve ever had! I always get the biscuits and gravy (w/poached). Delicious!
Excellent every time. Perfect breakfast spot. In a cute old house. Gluten free bread is outstanding.
Great food and a really cool vibe staffed by hipsters. The server messed up the splitting of the check, but was otherwise good. This place was hopping with people
Huge portion, friendly service.
Love the vibe, the food was delicious. I wiould come back.
Amazing service and one of the best lattes I've had
There was a short wait to get a table, even though they didn't appear busy. The food was good. Tables are packed in pretty close, so it was a bit noisy.
Nice picturesque place to have breakfast in Seattle. Chorizo scramble was delicious.
Always great food. Love the Cheese Baked Eggs. It gets very busy here, so expect a wait.
A diner in a repurposed home! It is cozy and comfortable. The food is fresh and delicious! A great spot for brunch.
Great breakfast. I love the Cheddar/Ham biscuits. Get there early on the weekends or it can be a bit of a wait for a table.
So good, a lover and I eat here half the times we meet. Yummy. Cozy. Comfortable atmosphere, classy food!
Pretty good food, with a cool coffee shop and restaurant layout. I'd recommend it for brunch.

Amazing food, love the outdoor dining and service was excellent.
This place is consistently fantastic! The service is great, the atmopshere cozy yet energetic, and the food is awesome. I recommend!
Lovely cafe and staff. Cold plates makes for cold food. Overpriced coffee and delicious biscuits.
Good neighborhood staple. Fresh made and inventive breakfast and lunch creations.
Always good food .I've been a customer for 17 years .
Always great.
I love the En Salada Del Hefa.
But everything is great.
Coffee the best .
Love the food, people and ambiance here, but the wait on a Sunday for brunch can be over an hour, which is tough.
Loved this place, had a chai tea and wife had a coffee. The owner and staff are very friendly, gave us a tour around the restaurant.

$16 for a sandwich and side salad. it tasted good, but should be $12 or $14 max.
A bit chaotic at get seated. My husband loved his hash, I wasn't a fan of the pancakes.

I've been eating there since the 90's. Good food, good people, nice lanai...what's not to like?
I've been eating here since elementary school and I love it! Still amazing!!
One of my favorite breakfast / brunch spots in the neighborhood. Especially in the summer when you can sit outside in the garden!
Pleasant place. Good service. Good food. I had a nice Chorizo scramble.
Cozy and crowded spot for weekend brunch. Oatmeal and coffee were delicious. Recommend
I loved the biscuits & gravy with their potato wedges they are seasoned just right. Very delicious
Good food. All day breakfast and Macrina classic cinnamon rolls!!!
Went for lunch and it was worth the (30 minute) wait. This is how a Cobb Salad should be made!
Great food. However it took us 20 minutes to be seated despite have a reservation.
One of my favorite breakfast places in the city. The "Tacos de Huevo" are exactly what I need on a Sunday morning.
Good food, great service, fun place for Sunday brunch!
