Reviews of Dreamland Bar & Diner
Love the outdoor seating area. Very lively with colored lights and cool decoré. I like the fact that the outdoor heating system work very well.
The food menu is very limited but pretty good. Drinks come in a lovely presentation and are unique. I enjoyed the graphic design and story on the menu. Quite fun to read.
The hallway to the bathroom is very vibrant and fun!
The price seems to be reasonable and the staff provided excellent customer service.
This place was so good!! My eggs Benedict was amaaazing, however the hash browns on the side were lacking a bit. They were pretty mushy on the inside and not very crispy.
Also the avocado toast was served with a cold (refrigerated) hard boiled egg, which I thought was weird… seemed like fresh ingredients on top but the cold egg just kind of ruined it, I wish it was fresh and warm.
Other than that all the food was great!! We saw the drag show outside through the window on the patio. So I definitely want to go back someday and see the show! Seems like a fun place, lots of young trendy people, but also older people. The servers were very welcoming and it seemed super busy that Saturday!
Stop here for happy hour! HH is daily 3-6pm and also from 10-12pm on Fri and Sat. Their French fry basket ($7) is amazing with every sauce you could imagine and great for sharing with a group. Also a big fan of their Crunchy Rap Supreme ($12). The seasonal mule ($10) was blood orange flavored and delicious. Love all the plants, music, and must take a trip to the bathroom to see all the disco balls!
Amazing decor and very friendly and attentive staff. My group went during happy hour and we sampled several of the menu items. The spicy chicken was my favorite and I’ll definitely be returning for that! The patio is interestingly decorated and feels like a little bit of Las Vegas in Seattle. Very unique. All of the food and drinks I tried were delicious.
The food was AMAZING. The dressing on the wedge salad was garlic-y heaven. The chicken was fried perfectly and the waffle was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Music was ON POINT, so many throwbacks! And the inside is gorgeously decorated, so fun and cool!
Dreamland is always fantastic, but Carnelian Bay is where it's at if you're looking for all the vibes!
Check out the patio during brunch for great drinks and even better food, but if you're looking to elevate your night, go back when the patio changes into Carnelian Bay! The whole vibe is incredible. A different menu, curated cocktails, and some of it not the best bartenders around.
Truly a great experience!!
This place is awesome! High quality appetizers and cocktails with a very unique and charming Sci-fi inspired menu. The decor outside feels like an adult rainforest cafe with the shrubbery from ground to ceiling and the roaring tiger when you walk in. I’ve had a good serving experience both of the times I’ve been here even with it being very busy. I love the disco balls on the walk to the bathroom, everything about this place has made me want to share it with everyone I know!
15/5 stars for me! Service, food, environment, setting… perfect! The restaurant is so much fun. They cater to all ages, my 4yo had a blast and ate her whole breakfast. We went for brunch, but will DEFINITELY go back for dinner.
I got the breakfast sandwich. Hubby got the crunch wrap, and daughter got bacon and eggs. We all shared each others food as everything was amazing! Oddly enough I think my favorite bite was a piece a bread with this raspberry jelly…. I’m drooling again thinking about it!
We’ll done! A must go!!
Dreamland Drag Show Brunch was amazing from the beginning to the end!
Let’s start with the fact that they have actual Vegan and Gluten Free options on the menu and not just pointing you to French fries or a Salad. They were serving from both the Brunch Menu and the All Day Menu. We got the Endless Forest & The Dreamland Two Egg Breakfast w/Royal Ranch Ribeye! All the flavors of the Endless Forest were put together very nicely and it was very filling that’s hard to find. It was a 10! The Dreamland Two Egg Breakfast w/Royal Ranch Ribeye was to die for. My eggs were cooked perfectly. The Hash Browns were so soft in the middle almost like mashed potatoes but the outside was browned and crispy just how I like it . The Ribeye was the largest Ribeye I’ve ever had on a plate in front of me. It was cooked perfectly as well so flavorful and juicy. It was a 10! As you can see the food portions were huge and delicious definitely worth the money!
The show was amazing and very entertaining! I’m talking everything down the line the DJ the MC and the performances all 10’s! The drinks were delicious and were not watered down at all. Our table did get mimosas and a few other drinks but in the pictures I posted was a cranberry juice and a NA Drink (non alcoholic). They made it look all fancy for me not to feel left out! 10! The servers were wonderful came in and out quickly as to not ruin the show. That was a 10! The whole experience was the best -10! I’m giving this place all 10’s all the way down.
Keep in mind when you go with a group of 6 or more they do not split the check up! That’s not a downfall for me for this place it’s still a 10! Amazing Drag Show Brunch our table didn’t want to leave when it was over. We will be back very soon and if you’re in the neighborhood stop by this place won’t let you down!
Go for the decor, stay for the food and cocktails!
The decor was so much fun and a great talking point if you need it for a date. Went with my friends and we got the best of both worlds getting there near the end of Happy Hour and just as dinner was starting.
I had the Caramelizes Pineapple Mule and the Blueberry Ginger Whiskey Sour cocktails. My friends were fans of the old fashions. (They used Four Roses as their base)
Food : we ordered the chicken strips, crunchy rap supreme, 3 meatballs with garlic toast, and the beignet donuts with lemon curd .
We all agreed that the short rib crunchy rap supreme was our favorite. It’s normally served cut in half but they cut it 3 ways for us.
We also enjoyed the crispy chicken strips with their 3 different sauces.
The garlic toast that was served with the meatballs was bomb. The meatballs were not quite salty enough, but apparently that is being worked on as prior customers said they were too salty.
The lemon curd were the beignet donuts saving Grace, as the donut holes were just too heavy.
Service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back . A pretty good replacement for the Red door.
