Reviews of Cornuto Pizzeria
Allie H
Perfect for a date night or dinner with friends! It’s dark and has an intimate atmosphere inside, highly recommend sitting on the bar side where you can watch them make the pizzas. Pizzas were so fresh they were gooey and fell apart quickly, but so tasty. The burrata is a must, definitely get flatbread with it. Also loved the dessert calzone. Highly recommend coming early (around 5-6pm) as tables fill up quickly!

Discovered this place and we’re glad we did. We ordered a Caesar salad which was served whole leave and anchovies. Delicious!!! We ordered the Americano which had just the right ratio of salmi, sausage and mozzarella. The pizza is a perfect size for sharing. With a couple beers our bill was 75.00. Service was excellent. Food came out quick. We found parking off the street very easily. Will be back.
Brendon Enlow
The pizza came out fast and was so delicious. The Americana was the perfect amount of salty and savory. They use real candles on the tables so the ambiance is pretty romantic
Nicholas Richter
Good spot! Everything we had was very good, prices weren't terrible, and decent cocktails. Will be back.
Dan Chiang
Pizza is fantastic Caesar salad was very fresh and full of flavor, tiramisu was well flavored with just the right amount of espresso. This place has a great neighborhood vibe, highly recommended
Adam Ware
This is my favorite pizza place in Seattle. We’ve been nearly 20 times at this point. It’s so authentically Napolitano. The pizzas are just perfect and the cocktails are amazing (and strong) too.
Howard Sewell
Phenomenal neighborhood pizzeria. The food is amazing but don't miss the cocktails - Andrew is a master. Weather permitting, eat on the rear deck for pizzas al fresco. Kid-friendly, too.
Raven J.
Best pizza I had in May!! One of the top in Seattle! The bartender is very chatty and fun. Love this place
Megan
This is the best pizza place in Seattle. The Gnocci is delicious and it has a very classy atmosphere.
Federico Espriu
The best pizza in the area. Small selectiom of beers but good options for italian wine. Good amari and aperitive menu

My partner and I came to Cornuto right after a trip to the south of France -- we were craving the Sicilian pizzas we were eating!
Since that trip, we have been back 5 times! This is by-far my favorite restaurant in all of Greenwood. To start off, the cocktails are handcrafted so uniquely and are yummy. The pizzas are delicious (the absolute best we have had in Seattle.. and we have tried a lot of places). Also, the appetizers (salads, warm olives, etc.) are all so high quality. They do not skimp on ingredients on their smaller dishes. Their less-known items like their gnocchi are also incredible.
This place is great for date night or even just going out with friends.
I also have to mention Noah -- one of the excellent staff at Cornuto -- is so helpful. He makes the best drinks, gives out excellent food advice, and also is just awesome.
I could not vouch for this place more. If you love high quality Italian food and a super good vibe, come here.
S. Roit
This guy was happy.
I’ve been here twice. Once years ago on a date. Recently, with a pal. Both times, great friendly service. I like the cozy atmosphere.
Pizza first time. Yum. Second time, gnocchi and my friend had clams. Tasty. I DO think it seems pricy for the smaller plates. I think I’d stick with pizza, also. This isn’t to diss them. There’s just so many places to go in Seattle, and I’ve gone to some legit Italian spots that I’d rather have pastas, if I’m feeling that.
Nice Chianti, btw. I’m sure sometime I’ll swing back in. Actually! Would love to try some desert and coffee.
Nestor Voronka
Great flavor but I was hoping for a crispier crust. Very chewy.
Barry Fitzpatrick
Superb little place, the pizzas were amazing, really fresh and filling, good atmosphere.
Amy Paris
Amazing food and service! Thank you to Noah who served is at the bar for fun conversation and drink recommendations.
Hayley Kite
One of the best pizza places in Seattle. Everything I’ve had here is absolutely delish. We frequent this spot and I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. The owners have created a fun and friendly neighborhood spot that is super relaxed and reliable. Just came back from another fantastic meal there and can’t wait to go back again.
Sara DePasquale
This place is a whole vibe. The pizza is delicious (amazing crust and delicious sauce with top tier toppings...yum!). Well stocked aperitif selection if that's your jam, plus great cocktails and well curated wine & beer selections. Take your pick of the cozy bar or booths inside or lovely outdoor patio. Have found this a great spot for a solo meal, a date, and even a larger group.
John Carrico
Yum! Kid friendly classy pizza place with great options. Staff is always nice, pizza is amazing (I always eat too much). My 2 y/o daught loves the patio. Great spot
Joe S
Good wood fire pizza, fun group experience. The back patio is great. Cocktails are good if you like boozy Italian style cocktails. Wine selection is affordable but still high quality. Staff is always friendly and efficient.
Brandon Mayotte
Great cocktails. Very cute back patio.
The pizza crust is unbelievably good. It's by far my favorite in the city. Super authentic Italian flavor that I haven't tasted outside of Naples.
Josh Haftel
Favorite Neapolitan pizza in Seattle. Love their tomato sauce and my kids love their meatballs.
Alison Stock
Really good pizza ! We just moved up to Seattle from Portland and my expectations for finding good pizza in Seattle were down (in comparison to the incredible food scene in Portland). Nonetheless, this pizza is so good and really comparable to the pizza I ate in Italy . So happy to know this place is nearby !
R. Routier
Our first time here thanks to some wonderful friends who gave us a gift certificate. We had the Verde pizza (delicious) insalata di Parma and tricolor salads (both fresh and tasty) and finished it off with an Affogato each. Great dinner... we'll be back.
Ian Joslin
Great pizza, great vibe, great service. Attentive staff and consistent quality food and cocktails. They always have good wine selections and suggestions if you ask. It can get busy but if you love pizza you should eat here, where it's made the way it should be.
I definitely recommend visiting during the summer when the back deck is open, but this spot is welcoming year round. Can't find a better place on the ridge to sip drinks, eat pizza and enjoy good company.
bob zhuruncle
No better pizza in Seattle. Seriously. It’s a humble food that reaches perfection only when the ingredients are allowed to speak. They’re so like the thin crust pizzas I’d get along the side of the road near Tourrettes, Provence; simple as can be, but done perfectly with their sweet little wood-fired brick oven. The salads are also pure little gems made well. Good ingredients they don’t screw up. I often ask for a mozzarella, onion, anchovy, and olive oil pizza - throw in some basil if I’m feeling fancy. They do it gladly and I’m back in the Côte d'Azur where the line between Italy and France is a delicious blur.
Brava, Cornuto!
We’ll be back.
Mitch Johnson
Great pizza, great wine. But you know what really makes this place stand out? The salad. I know! I'm surprised too! But seriously, some of the best leafy green medleys I've ever had the pleasure of paying for. The staff is awesome, polite, patient and helpful.
Lis Bee
The staff is great and I love their Salumi platter with different meats. Authentic wood fired pizzas are SO good. They have the best soft buffalo mozzarella caprese salad. Their house white and red wine is from Solea and it's a hands down favorite.
Ken
Very decent napoli pizza. The place is cozy and calm.
Alysha Williams
Amazing! Closest we’ve found to pizza we’ve had in Naples!! Love having a seat by the counter to watch them make everything from scratch. And everyone is very welcoming - great service!
Shelby Smith
Everything we ate was delicious! Cocktails were amazing, wine was perfectly paired to our meal, burratta and meatballs were heavenly and the Bufalina was scrumptious. The staff was above and beyond. Haven't had that kind of service in years!
Martin Crownover
After a long day of walking around Seattle we found ourselves in the neighborhood and thought we'd try out Cornuto - and I'm glad we did!
The pizza here is amazing, and even better, it comes out quick! Service was great too - our server/bartender was there to help at just the right times.
Instead of being pre-cut, they gave us shears to cut our pizza, and it was nice to be able to choose how big to make each slice.
If you're looking for a cozy place to have some great pizza, Cornuto is it. I'm really glad we got the chance to try it!
William Brown
Genuine Italian, friendly staff, strong drinks, a neighborhood gem!
Sarah Brauneis
The pizza here is incredible! They have really perfected the thin and crispy but flavorful crust. Shared the Verde pizza and the ingredients were deliciously laid out with the right amount of goat cheese per bite. Plus who doesn't love pizza cutting scissors to cut their own portion!
LJP
Excellent service. Extremely nice staff & very good pizza. I would definitely return.
Andrea Nassisi
I'm from Italy. This place menu and ambiance is comparable to many Italian's "Ristorante e Pizzeria".
I had the pizza several times, I have not tried the pasta yet.
I will give them 5 stars if they are going to season the pizza dough a little more.
Enjoy,
Tho Nguyen
Started with a Caesar and had a Salsiccia e Rapini. Food was good, but service was a little lacking, and everything felt very rushed. Also felt ignored a lot of the time, but it may have been because they did not have a lot of helpers that night.
The entrance point was pretty confusing and not intuitive as to where we supposed to wait for service. Tables for dine-in were pretty close to each other, which we didn’t mind, but be wary of that if you choose dine-in.
Keyth Sokol
I'm really glad we returned here. It had been a few years since our first visits there and we'd simply overlooked it since. Until now. The food is fantastic and not overly fussed over. The atmosphere is perfect. Well, almost perfect. It was so dark I had to use my phone to read the menu. We could have used a couple more votives and it wasn't even dark outside yet.
But what really impressed us-and we are difficult to impress-was the service. Impeccable. Friendly, perfect timing, excellent suggestions. We will not wait so long to return.
Matthew Ellington
There are lots of TV's here. It's a nice open format type of place! Looks a lot smaller from the outside. The pizza, is really delicious. It's worth mentioning that you pick your toppings, their menu is only toppings and beer.
We had the red pizza with some sausage a Gardiner because this is Seattle. We did the other half (also red BC you can't split sauce) with tomatoes and basil.Pretty good price also.. The pizzas are big!
Carter B
Staffed by a very pleasant, and knowledgeable group of extremely nice people, who, though all unrelated truly seem like family to each other. Everyone seems to really love working there and you can feel it. Equally as impressive is the pizza, gnocchi and Caesar salad (my usuals). Valentin is a true master at the wood fired oven. The menu is small, but you are assured that everything on it is made with care. This is my hands-down favorite, most comfortable place to eat in Seattle.
Hannah Buckendorf
Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly. The cocktails are great and the bartender has recommended perfect wines every time I’ve been there. The food is consistently delicious and I will definitely be back. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Michael Ford
One of our local favorites. Pizza’s are thin, individually sized and similar to what you get in Italy, although about double the price. Atmosphere is super and the staff are friendly and efficient.
John Logic
Not only my favorite neighborhood joint, but my go-to for simple authentic Italian. The Martino brothers always make you feel welcome. My favorites are the Salumi platter, salads, anchovies, wood-fired pizza. Andrew Martino is always coming up with light, refreshing cocktails, and the wines never fail. If you like Piccolino (I do), you should try Cornuto; completely different vibe and menu but equally deserving of your attention.
Joel Mosier
Good place with nice people. Came in a bit before closing and they graciously took my order and make two excellent pizzas. Will come more often now and earlier. Good indoor seating. Good for friends, families and couples.
Elijah Pasco
Small and cozy atmosphere, and authentic Neapolitan pizza served by a friendly staff. Good, well made, simple pizza and other side dishes. Limited dessert, but they make a very delicious nutella calzone.
Rebecca Taylor
My favorite neighborhood pizza spot. They have AMAZING, authentic pizza
in a cozy atmosphere and use quality ingredients. And... their happy hour is awesome! All a win in my book.
Chelsea Proulx
When you're in the mood for some authentic pizza, Cornuto is the place. Been a very loyal patron for years. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious.
Max Holmberg
Wow!! The pizza, drinks, and happy hour are amazing. So is the ambiance. Real quality food and people. Also they have a unique kind of tomatoes that only they are allowed to import.
Michael U
I came here based on a search of Google Maps. I happened to be in Northgate around 9:30 pm and wanted to get some dinner. I'm not very familiar with the area, with the exception of the few places I had been many times and I wanted to try some place new. As I stated to search, pizza came to the fore and that sounded good. I love a good Neapolitan Pizza, so focused on pursuing that end.
Cornuto Pizzaria had two things going for it. First it received many good reviews on Google Maps. Second they were open until 11:00 pm so it meant I would not be rushed. I drive to Greenwood, a mere 10 or 12 min. It's on Greenwood Ave N, along that really quaint yet hip commercial district where the 74th St Ale House, Two Birds Tattoo, and Proust! are located, just north of Phinney Ridge.
The woman who greeted me was very pleasant (and a very pregnant) and allowed me to sit in the window by the best when I asked. She was very attentive, despite the place being a little busy, and brought for me a small Cesar salad with anchovies, before the pizza I ordered was served. I ordered the Diavola pizza which was easily larger enough for two, but because it was so delicious, I ate 3/4 of it while sitting there. It was the best pizza I've had for a very long time. I only just realized while writing this review, that this place is a part of the Via Tribunali group of restaurants.
I've been a fan of theirs for a while (bring back the late night happy hour to your Pike Street/Cap Hill location!). But the pizza here was even better than I've had at there other restaurants before.
5 stars! I will definitely be going back to Greenwood just for another pizza here.
Matthew Griffin
Would hate to give up this amazing Greenwood, secret... but credit where credit is due. Amazingly delicious, thoughtful and attentive wait staff and such a great little date spot. Oh, and the pizza is incredible.
Guido Boselli
Very good and real Napoli Pizza
Teri B
Cornuto is so good. We live nearby and always have a great experience. Excellent food, drinks, service and music! (no music in the outdoor patio yet but even without it we love this place!)
Abhishek Choudhary
Love this restaurant. Best pizza, best drinks, best service and best music. It’s a neighborhood vibe with wonderful ambiance + decor.
Sofia Hodge
I've been going to Cafe Vita next door for years and this place was right under my nose! Think it was Vera Pizza so not sure what the relation is. Outdoor patio is endearing. Pizza is delicious. We got the Fratelli di Bufalla, and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to try a different one next time.
Janell
Hands down best pizza in Seattle! True Neapolitan style. Great service. Love this place.
Matt U
Amazing Neapolitan, incredible dough and sauce! Lacking in some traditional elements such as the signature air pocket filled/bubbly crust, but you're gonna be hard pressed to do better in Seattle...
Buzzy Street
Simply the best pizza marguerite I've ever had and as close to Italy as you can get. It's so good we each have to order our own pie so we don't have a showdown over the last slice!
Morgan Schramm
Get the ricotta gnocchi and add a tiny (goes a long way) of the homemade chili oil for a little spice. This was a weekly staple when I lived in Seattle. I crave this stuff still! Can’t find anything like it.
Arlene Satz
This place has the best pizza. Very thin crust, with delicious, fresh toppings. It's going through a renovation when completed the place will double in size.
Sandra Mendoza
We love this place. Pizza's are delicious! Had the best peach sorbet. The bar side is cozy. Always great service!
David W.
Picked it based in on their 4.7 score and it was totally worth it. Quick and personable servers, probably the best brick oven pizza I’ve had, nice selection of wine and cocktails.
Jared Banks

Jamie Anderson
Great little place with authentic Italian pizzas.
Really nice staff, and very cozy place. Nice patio in the back for those sunny days
Ron Chatman
A recent name change may have you looking for Cornuto Pizza, but this is the right place. An excellent selection of wines and a robust menu make Via Tribunali a gem of a find.
Ben Streissguth
Fun neighborhood vibe, lovely patio in the back. Street side seating is for the pie shop, but the back patio is better anyway!
Erin Heckman
Great pizza in Seattle is hard to find, but this place does fantastic italian pizza right with a great wine selection
John Davies
Euro style thin crust pizza with quality ingredients. A great place to take a date or partner.
Ere Santos
Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, and great honest service! My only issue is that the music was a little too loud, and that made it hard to hear the waiter and my company sometimes, but other than that.. utter perfection
Jeffrey Homme
Flavorful pizza, not greasy but order more than you think you’ll need to fill you up.
E
This place is a gem! Great service, pizza, and experience.
CC Conklin
Great restaurant! Food is excellent and the service couldn’t be any better. Outside and inside dining. Really nice deck in back. Just go!
Paul Kasin
Salads, appetizers, pizza, cocktails and desserts are all amazing. Best pizza in Seattle, and the staff are all super friendly and helpful.
Lucas Duffey
I wouldn't get the Fratelli Di bufala again since it was too dry without any sauce, but I bet their other pizzas are really good. affogato was great.
Robert Roodzant
Probably one of the best pizzas that I have eaten outside of Italy! Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your date or your coworkers... This place is awesome!
Adrian Maziak
Staple Pizza joint over the past few years. Consistent in quality and service.
Roger Knopf
Really authentic neapolitan pizza. The only thing which would make this better is to be able to eat it immediately instead of current take-out due to COVID-19.
David Breton
Really enjoyed the great ingredients crafted into fantastic chow. Professional and engaging kitchen and front of house staff, can't say we enough good things about this shop.

A little cramped for space, but don't let that stop you and 3 other friends from enjoying this awesome pizzeria!! Fantastic combination pizzas but they WILL go quick, so expect to get a couple of larges. Affogatos coffees are excellent!
Sarah McGeehon
I have never not loved my meal while eating here. This most recent visit we snuck in at the very last minute, and they were happy to have us/ didn’t make us feel bad for getting a 9:15 table
The server was delightful and helpful, he ended up making an amazing wine recommendation.
We each got a Cesar salad and glass of Barberra red wine, a salsiccia e rapini & prosciutto crudo pizza(s). Everything was absolutely amazing, and the pizza is to die for. The crust is equal parts soft a crunchy, it doesn’t flop when you pick it up but the crust isn’t overly doughy.
We didn’t get any dessert, but in the past have loved the tiramisu and affogato
OHH! And if you like spicy you have to try the chili oil. It’s house made and the perfect addition of heat and spice to your pizza.
Enjoy!
