Reviews of Cheeky Cafe
The loco modo was very hearty with a dense meatloaf. The chicken fried steak was also very tender and seasoned to perfection.
Restaurant was a bit understaffed in the kitchen which led to some wait for the food.
Nice little diner with delicious comfort food; made me feel very homey.
It’s rare to find such great food for affordable prices, especially in Seattle. But Cheeky Cafe delivers on that promise.
The French toast was the highlight, with a crisp exterior but perfectly soft inside.
Friendly staff, great lo-fi music, chill atmosphere.
Would I come back? maybe. I came for breakfast but nothing really impressed me. Probably just me being the picky guy that I am.
It's a fairly mid school diner. You order and pay in the back then find a table. They do bring it out to you.
I split a moco Loco with a friend and it went well, but the rice was not exactly the kind of rice I preferred for a moco Loco. It also did not come with a Mac salad which is new for me. I'm used to it being included with the moco, but nope, not here. Just gotta be glad they even have it. Wait. Theres a good part. The meat patty, it's like a really yummy and dense meatloaf. I added egg and cheese. I ate the whole thing and only added a bit of salt.
Would I come back? Maybe.
Friendly staff. It was lunch time but not too busy when I came in. Nice atmosphere and vibe.
Food: I got the fry bread and kimchi Mac n cheese (small). Awesome, absolutely great food!
Breakfast served all day, and espresso drinks til close…for the late rollers ☀️
Highly recommend the Lemon poppyseed pancakes ❤️
Food is delicious! Waitstaff are friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a brunch spot as well! They have pitchers of mimosas!
Employees were attentive and polite.
The meatloaf was amazingly spiced and delicious. Very filling. Great for a cold day.
The traditional French toast has a fabulous texture and the eggs were cooked perfectly.
Portions were neither meager nor excessive, we left full and satisfied.
Would recommend.
An excellent meal! I got the Garden Omelette, and my roommate got the Cheeky French Toast. He said it was the best stuffed french toast he’s ever had. My omelette was immensely delicious; the egg was light and folded around the vegetables, opposed to normal omelettes that have them mixed in, a change I greatly enjoyed. Everything was cooked to perfection, I plan to go here more in the future to try out their other menu items!
Great home-style comfort food for a reasonable price. Came here with a few friends and we got the fried rice, curry rice, and loco moco, and we all enjoyed our food and left satisfied.
One thing to keep in mind is that it's very much a casual diner as you order and pay at the back before sitting down but otherwise get full table service. No complaints about the service, but definitely not the type of place I'd want to bring someone for a romantic date or business lunch.
I work across the street and have been coming here at least 1x a week for 2 years. The meals I've had there have always been fresh, filling, and well made. The staff is very friendly, as well. It's a great sit down spot! Be prepared to spend about $10-$15, but I think it is well worth it.
This restaurant was an unexpected gem that we found. We went in late in the afternoon for a late breakfast on Sunday. The restaurant was not at all busy but then we were there an hour before closing. However, when we arrived we were greeted promptly and seated at our choice of table. Our waitress promptly brought over menus and water and asked if we would like anything else to drink. We declined, and instead perused the menu.
For our meal, we chose the lemon poppy seed pancakes and the cheeky French toast with chocolate. The food was delivered in good time. What arrived was piping hot and cooked too perfection. My French toast was crisp on the outside and yet fluffy and soft and creamy on the inside. The lemon poppy seed pancakes had outstanding flavor. Are eggs were cooked perfectly with my over easy eggs being neither undercooked nor overcooked. My husband's scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and not runny or dry. All the food was seasoned perfectly and was appealing to look at as well as eat.
Drop the meal, our waitress was perfectly attentive. She was neither over intrusive nor was she neglectful. All in all, this was a great meal at a restaurant that we plan to frequent again and again. They have gained a customer for life. I'm looking forward to next going in and trying their meatloaf. Although there are many other things on the menu that also look appealing and I may have a difficult decision when I actually go to order. I would say that you should go in and not judge the book by its cover as it doesn't look fancy but the food and service are as good as you can get at some of the finest dining establishments in Seattle.
Great food and friendly staff. So far I've had the kimchi Mac and cheese, the chili fry bread, and caramel milk (not all in one sitting). All of it was amazing. Highly recommend the chili fry bread and caramel milk for a cold day with comfort food.
Got here just before the brunch rush, what great luck!!! Great food, amazing lattes. Recommend getting here kinda early on the weekends as it seems like a hot destination for brunch. Within walking distance of a lot of activities too!
Delicious brunch choices, unique but familiar.
First timer. What a gem. They have a great menu with interesting combinations.
I had the coconut curry quinoa with lentil and kale, which was one of the more Asian style dishes. It was more like a soup than I expected, but it was absolutely delicious.
I’ll definitely be back to try the Kimchi Mac and Cheese and many other dishes.
I’ve been eating here for a while and it is honestly the highlight of my week getting to go! Everyone there is incredibly friendly, the service is fantastic, and the food is delicious. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
Less than a minute walk from me and I couldn't be happier! A unique menu with an Asian twist. This will definitely be a weekly stop for us.
We had the spam and eggs, coconut curry with quinoa and lentil as well as the matcha pancakes. I highly recommend the pancakes! They were incredibly moist with the perfect balance of sweetness and matcha.
We always go cheeky cafe for weekend brunch. The food and service is great! They also give crayons and coloring pages to kids. Very family friendly location. delicious food and coffee!!!
I appreciate this brunch spot. I went on a Saturday. It’s quaint and cozy, with a lot of natural light. And at around 2pm, it was easy being seated. The server was friendly and food came out fast. I actually had a difficult time trying to pick what I wanted! It was a toss up between the garden omelette I ordered, the matcha pancakes, or the cheeky stuffed pancakes. Will be going back!
Food is simple but delicious. Spam and eggs is tasty with the spam cooked just right. French toast as well, perfect golden brown with fresh toppings.
Very interesting and delicious twist on breakfast items. The Lemon Poppyseed pancakes are are refreshing. Friendly, chill location.
Food was good, but took a very long time for drinks and food to come out (about 40 minutes for food) nice ambiance and many different fusion items (like the kimchi Mac and cheese) to try another time
I was really impressed with the menu and my meal. I came mid day during the week and it was a bit busy but the service was faster than expected. Easy to find, adequate seating and a comfortable atmosphere. Street parking only, but not metered.
Had a positive breakfast experience here last week. I enjoyed a garden omelette with a lemon poppyseed pancake. Service felt a little on the slow side but everyone was busting their butts on a busy Sunday morning. Will definitely come back!
Nice little place for a brunch. The food is pretty good, we got the chicken fried steak and tuna sandwich. The chicken fried steak has a pretty good batter but the bread for the sandwich doesn't seem to be too special. Still great food though!
I
Have had the pleasure of dinning here twice now and previously we have also enjoyed take out as well. The Cheeky Cafe is pure genuine , not pretentious in the slightest. The food is incredibly awesome , fresh , served warm and delicious. The staff is friendly , prompt and professional . Our coffee cup was kept full as well as our water glasses. Definitely a neighborhood place to go.
Great little spot to eat. Good food prepared perfectly, and priced well. Wide range of veg and vegan choices.
Onesies , 8oz mocha and water. Friendly place with gluten free bread. Food is delish. The scrambled soft eggs (perfect) are nicely seasoned. The water is great. Worth a return. May try the fried rice.
Super tasty and tender homemade beef Curry Rice. Not very spicy so good for those who don’t like much heat. My partner had the Roast Veggie Sandwich and really enjoyed it. Portions were good and prices were fair. The staff was nice and the wait time was moderate. Also stuff like Mac n cheese on the menu and chicken patties so I think it would probably be okay if you had kids who may be somewhat picky.
Amazing food. Dishes taste and feel homey, which is a plus here. Everything we tried was good!
Fresh food - reasonable prices- be patient, service may be a little slow but food is worth the wait!
I don't get to Seattle often, but came across the Cheeky Cafe on a recent visit and stopped in for an early lunch. First, I amazingly found a free parking spot right in front of the cafe. How crazy is that in Seattle? The place is spotless, including the restroom. The menu is quite varied, including American, Asian, Mexican options and more. I chose the Pasta Carbonara and was pleasantly surprised to find it was made from scratch on the spot. It was excellent. The service was attentive and friendly and I would definitely return to try more menu selections on my next trip.
Great breakfast spot to end our weekend in Seattle! From the coffee to the food it was so good! The rice was cooked to perfection and the batter on the chicken was amazing. Will definitely be back again.
Really underrated. Great unique menu choices like Kim Chi mac n cheese and meatloaf loco moco. Great beignet pastry. Wonderful staff. Great atmosphere inside. Highly recommended. Easy parking nearby
So many questions. How can their menu be so extensive and still the food be of such good quality? Every dish is delicious!! How do they make the iced tea that perfect? Why don't I eat here EVERY day?
Good food! The vegetarian omelet and meat loaf Loco Moco are a must try. The customer service is lacking but the staff appears to be hard working.
Great lunch. I had French Dip. It was a lot of food with good french fries. My son had an excellent grilled cheese. Good ice tea too. Lovely staff.
I don't take myself out for breakfast very often. When I got there it was closed this morning. Luckily I checked the website and it said "Open at 9:30 a.m." I was a half hour early. It was well worth the wait. I love eating breakfast here. 💖
Ok, I know I better try some of the other stuff. Next time I'll have the Cheeky French Toast with a Garden Omelet and just maybe have a friend to enjoy it with.😊
Menu is out of this universe! Can't wait to try it all. I just had a pineapple beer for now and it was great. The smells while inside will fill you up alone. The environment is comfy and inviting. Glad I stopped here with my mother! She had a wonderful tea! Great service and affordable prices!
Food was awesome and simple. Ordered to go and the lady brought us waters the moment she noticed we were going to have a quick bite before we left
Excellent food, reasonable prices, fast and friendly service... this place hits all of the marks I look for in a breakfast cafe!
The menu is simple and classic with some nice twists like Loco Moco mixed in. They also have gluten free free bread and pancakes available for a small upcharge.
Modern decor and a newer building near downtown give this place an open, and inviting feel. The chalkboard menu also adds a nice personal touch.
This is the cutest place! The garden omelette was delicious, too. Nice music and great decorations.
Holy smokes, this place hits all the boxes! Good value, very tasty and creative menue, decent coffee, minimal wait time even at peak brunch hours, and attentive service. I got the lemon poppyseed pancakes and really enjoyed them. Will be back again!
Wow! Seattle at it's finest! Great food and a fun selection of music. My kids plowed through a breakfast meal for dinner. If and when I return to Seattle I will be returning for another Cheeky Burger.
One word.....Amazing! We all had different dishes & they were all yummy!! The French toast, pancakes, chicken patties.....all great. Crispy bacon! Fast, friendly service. This would definitely be my go to spot if I were local 😁
Absolutely loved going here! Our waitress was very kind and helpful, not too overbearing. The food was great, and not to mention a good price. It was quiet, which was nice for a Sunday brunch. I will definitely be visiting again.
Very busy at 11am on a Saturday, delicious sandwiches, and solid chicken fried steak. Prices are maybe a hair high but the food stands up. It also has a bunch of cute rosemary bushes in front! Rub the leaves to release the smell :)
A very nice place for brunch. The pan cakes were very nice. Will definitely go again. The staff was super friendly.
Great Cabonara and French Dip Sandwich - came back the second time and enjoyed the meal as well.
This cafe they serve you a fresh fresh food and amazing customer service. Like to come here more.
Dine-in with "excellent" covid-19 cleanliness rating. Had a great breakfast this morning. great portions and great service!!
Great breakfast and lunch. So nice to go to a restaurant that serves a real 2 egg, bacon and french toast breakfast for a fair price 12.95. Good service, good food, good price. Thanks Cheekys🥳. The service here is great. Very relaxed and fun ambiance. Good music. The cheeky burger is delicious. Coffee is not consistently good. The lemon pancakes you can crave for but bring your own maple syrup if you want the real stuff. Definitely good restaurant to visit.
Lovely little cafe! I went for the chicken fried steak, but they were sold out for the day (my own fault for showing up 30min to close on a Sunday without realizing it), so I tried the cheesy chili hash browns and was very happy with it! The vanilla latte was also perfect. I'll definitely try to stop in earlier sometime to try out the CFS. 12/10!
Love this place! Food is always amazing, staff is always amazing, the atmosphere is sunny and bright. Its a joy to eat here or take out at any time! One of my favorite places
Utterly delicious. Food was filling and simple. Served and seated quickly.
The stuffed French Toast was so profoundly and unexpectedly AMAZING and unlike any French Toast I've ever eaten before🤤 …
Cute cafe with really good food and great service! It’s our weekly must go!
Got the meatloaf loko moko, came with bacon wrapped meatloaf on a bed of rice n covered in gravy, topped with an egg of your choice. Was amazing and delicious.
This is my favorite restaurant in the neighborhood. I've tried so many things from the menu and have never been disappointed. The fried rice might be my favorite, but I'd happily take anything they're serving. The customer service is always great, too, doesn't matter if you're dining in or taking out. I've made a point of introducing as many people as possible to Cheeky Cafe and every person I've taken there has loved it, too.
Just moved to the area and checked this place out for our first breakfast in Seattle. The place was busy at 11a.m. which I took as a good sign. The person who took our order was very welcoming, offering us water while we waited for our take out. I had the meat Meatloaf Loco Moco (the gravy!!!) and my partner had the veggie omelette. Both delicious. We'll definitely be back!
Great food, service, relaxed and comfortable but well-designed space.
The cheeky French toast with berries is to die for, such a delicious pastry taste. My spouse got the chocolate flavor and while it was good they agreed that the berry one I got was where it's at.
Stopped in for brunch today. The garden omelette with bacon and slice of perfect french toast was wonderful 😊! …
I really like this place, the food is SUPER GOOD. But they KEEP BURNING THE BACK OF MY FRENCH TOAST. This is the second time ughhh
I have never had a single thing here I didn't love. The kimchi mac and cheese is great, and my personal breakfast/brunch favorites are the chocolate and banana stuffed cheeky french toast and the breakfast sandwich with vegetarian sausage, which you can also get as a wrap. Cheeky is a highlight of the neighborhood.
This is a cute little place. Very casual. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The menu is on a chalk board at the front. They have a good selection of breakfast and lunch selections, including some vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. It isn't gourmet food, but the quality is good. The fish and chips are good. There good size pieces of fish. My wife had a veggie burger and said that was good, too. They are several toppings to the burger to make it more interesting.
Food was absolutely delish!!!, eggs were cooked perfect super chill and relaxed atmosphere and the staff were so helpful and friendly. It was my moms first time in Seattle and she love love loved this place! We are only here two night but we will def be coming again.
Amazing food, lovely atmosphere, great espresso drinks. Will be coming back.
Amazing food chill vibes great for a quick meal study session portions won’t leave you wanting more great flavor food variety overal a great spot 10/10 recommend
I had two delicious breakfasts on two separate occasions. Took one home and did not eat it till the next day, it was still great. Had the second one in house and the service and atmosphere where fantastic. I will absolutely be a regular on my "take care of myself" day!😊 …
Not speedy, but lots of yummy items, friendly staff and reasonable prices.
This place has a great selection of diverse food choices; I can always find something to fit my mood. Their turkey chili is also amazing. Highly recommended!
The stuffed French toast is incredible. Same with the Chicken and Egg breakfast sandwich. Everything is awesome and the menu has a great variety. Super convenient for take out as well. One of our favorites!
I loved everything I’ve had here. It’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy some great food amongst a hectic world. Staff is also very friendly and kind. Highly recommended!
Very tasty food with an interesting menu at reasonable prices. 😁
Go eat here y'all. I ate here for the first time, and my only complaint was that I should have ordered more. The fried rice was so delicious I had to stop and ponder where I went wrong in life to have lived across the street from this place for 15 months without trying it out. Food was hot, fresh, and had the comfort of food that you'd get at a friend or relative's house. I'll definitely be going back.
Came here recently for a weekend brunch with my wife. It was not very busy when we got there, but got busier as we were there. I will go into more detail, but basically the food/service is 4-star, the COVID precautions were maybe 2.5-star, so overall for the place is 3 star.
The food was good. I got the loco moco and my wife got the chili fry bread. The loco moco meatloaf was very good and the gravy had a little kick to it. Decent size portion as well. The chili was good too, just a little sweet. The fry bread balls were very good.
The service was prompt and friendly so no complaints there.
My issue was with their COVID precautions. They did have hand sanitizer by the door and the entire staff were wearing masks. We also saw them sanitize tables after people left. Our big issue with their COVID stuff was social distancing. As they got busier, it very much seemed that they were seating tables less than 6ft apart, so that was very not good. There was also little to no air movement inside, the door was closed and no windows were open (not sure they are openable) so that was also not great. I would hope they can make a little more space between the tables.
The price was also very competitive for the area, so that was nice.
Would come back to explore more of the menu, but will stick with takeout for the time being.
This is such a great hidden gem!!! I've lived in this area for years and driven by this place, but never been or knew much about it. I've been craving a burger so gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised! It was a great burger, yummy sweet potato fries, and good portions at a great price. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. It's super cute inside and really clean (excellent rating). They have an eclectic menu of standard American fares mixed with some Asian/Hawaiian influences like Japanese curry, Kimchi Mac & Cheese, meatloaf loco moco, Kailua pork sandwich with a mango twist, and of course Spam options. Their breakfast and brunch menu looks tasty as well. I'll definitely be heading back regularly and look forward to checking out more of their menu with the many options and great variety.
Excellent American-Korean fusion. The meatloaf sandwich from this place just about blew my socks off and the mac and cheese are delicious! We ordered a fair amount of take-out to try this place and left every box clean! I'll definitely be back.
An adorable little cafe nestled in the neighborhood. It was fairly quiet when we came but the service was delightful and the food was really great. Wonderful value and look forward to trying more than just breakfast next time.
This place stands out as one of the few places I've visited that can cook an egg over medium. The gluten-free cheeky cakes were delicious too.
While the service wasn't the friendliest, the food was great and I'll definitely come back.
One of the greatest local place I've ever tried in Seattle. Cheeky burger is highly recommended. The burger is perfectly made with nice juicy patties. They know how to make delicious food.
It is very basic we ordered breakfast
Great casual place, with some unique takes on typical food. Standard fries are sweet potato instead of regular (they ask if you want regular fries). Decent prices, some beer, coffee. Great for a lunch with comrades from work. Talk shop or just relax.
Pancakes are very fluffy and well-composed. Spam & Eggs was simple and enjoyable
Super cute, chill little place. The food was delicious, especially the coconut curry kale lentil thing--I'd love to see more options like that for my vegan friends, since that was the only brunch entree that was vegan. My bacon-eating friends were very happy, too. Will try again!
We discovered Cheeky Cafe when we lived nearby. Their food is consistently great every time we've been in. They have a nice variety of options on the menu so even a picky eater like myself can find something to eat. The Pasta Carbonara is one of my favorite dishes there; nice presentation and just the right amount of food on the plate. My husband has tried many items on the menu and has liked everything (the Balsamic Mushrooms are one of his favorites). We've never experienced the slow service others have noted, it has always been very prompt and pleasant. Definitely recommend if you're in the area or ordering take-out.
They were very accommodating for our large group despite not having a reservation. We didn't have to wait long. I saw that they had spicy Mac and cheese with Kim chi so I had to have it and it did not disappoint. It was really good! It also came with a delicious side salad with greens, feta, cranberries and sliced almonds. All my favorite toppings! My daughter killed the quiche and my younger kids finished their cheeky cakes. Very rare! I also love the atmosphere. It's very bright and inviting. The set up is a little confusing. Didn't know whether to wait or just sit down. You can also walk up to the counter and order for take out. Also there's only street parking but you can find it pretty easily in that neighborhood. Will definitely return to try out the rest of the menu.
Ordered the Okonomiyake, Wendy's Fried Rice, and the Large Kimchi Mac n Cheese for lunch. Only came out to $32 for 3 items, and the mac n cheese is definitely enough for two meals or good to split with someone if you also have an appetizer or something. The portion was VERY generous. Kimchi mac n cheese was absolutely DELICIOUS. I had my doubts, but it worked really well. Fried rice and okonomiyake were both good. Our food was ready in 10 minutes and the service was very friendly, place was clean. Definitely recommend!
Really impressive menu and everything I’ve had so far is great. From the roasted veggies to the chicken sandwich, to the beer they have on tap, you can taste the love in every bite or sip. Gradually working my way thru the menu and I’m glad to have found them so close to home.
The fry bread was amazing, and the green tea pancakes were delicious. Quick, friendly service mid-morning. Easily 5 stars 👏🏻 I will be returning …
What a great experience. It took me so long to figure out what I wanted from the menu because there were so many great options! I ended up getting the spicy Mac & cheese with the salad and meatloaf loco moco plus a dirty chai latte. The Mac was a bright orange color but super tasty! I chose the raspberry vinaigrette for the salad which went well with the cheese they put on it. They give lots of gravy on the meatloaf loco moco and good portions of rice, meat, egg, and gravy. It’ll have you feeling full for sure. The dirty chai was delicious and came in an adorable mug. Overall good price for yummy dishes!
Young vibe, when we went on Saturday for brunch mostly 20-somthing couples and a few young families.
The food was good, better than I expected. I had chili and fry bread w/a fried egg. All well prepared, the chili was quite sweet, more than expected from the tomato, clearly a big scoop of sugar was added. Still good in its own way.
One of my favorite Seattle restaurants. The Traditional French Toast with berries and bananas is amazing. If you have a sweet tooth, get a caramel milk!
Everything I've tried here is good... Except, maybe, the Cheeky French Toast. Only those with a high constitution and a penchant for fried food can eat that without suffering.
A Rare gem and One of my favorite places to eat breakfast or lunch when we are in the area. Banana stuffed pancakes are to die for. So many delicious choices. You won't be disappointed.
Neighborhood cafe with great food and service! My favorite thing was that you can order a dish that contains both sweet and savory options (so rare at most places!). Got the fluffy lemon poppy seed pancakes that came with eggs and veggie patties on the side! Fulfilled my sweet AND savory cravings at the same time! Another commendable point is they subbed the bacon for delicious apple sage veggie patties for no additional charge. Love Cheeky Cafe!
This place is great. Gina is always very friendly, it's clean, and I love the food. The pasta carbonara and the fish + chips with sweet potato fries are my favorites. They also have some great salads. The prices are reasonable, plus, you're supporting a local PoC and family-owned business!
Cheeky Cafe is a terrific neighborhood restaurant. Last week our youngest son and I met there for dinner shortly before closing. They were nice to let us arrive and order so late and we enjoyed loco moco (in this case, meat loaf and gravy over rice) and a burger with fries.
When I've been there for breakfast, I've had wonderful eggs, bacon, and the works. There are dishes with a Japanese flavor like macha pancakes.
I love going to Cheeky Cafe. I hope you check it out if you're near the International District or Central District of Seattle.
Like its creative name, this is just a whimsical quirky very reasonably priced cafe in an area that's very accessible with easy parking. They have a very creative menu which is Americana meets whimsy with a dash of ethnicity. Their menu balances the slippery slope of short, simple and easy to navigate with a wide enough diversity to satisfy most tastes.
Great food and prices. Bit of a long wait for food once we ordered, and the coffee left a lot to be desired, but we enjoyed our omelettes and will be back to try more things. Plenty of vegetation/vegan options and fee-free substitutions!
Always love to drop this eclectic café for breakfast or lunch.
Yummy breakfast food. Small place but I would definitely go back.
Stumbled upon this place with some friends by Googling, "Best brunch near me," and have never been so content! I had the Carbonara, which was to die for. It was the perfect portion size, creamy but not over sauced, not too heavy, not overly filling, but incredibly delicious. Undoubtedly, I'd be back in a heartbeat the next time I'm in Seattle.
Excellent hand-crafted food at astonishingly low prices. Friendly staff. Good food takes time, so I suggest ordering in advance or having something to occupy yourself. When I lived in Seattle this was one of my fav restaurants in the whole city.
This place was a huge surprise. Great brunch, no wait. I had the spam and eggs and it was perfect. The pancakes were amazing as were the rest of the items on the table. Would definitely recommend to others.
Great place for breakfast. Nice little restaurant.
Food and service was excellent.
Thanks from Texas
What's not to love. Great breakfast sandwich and affordable. Eaten here tons of times, always enjoyed. Do wish the cheeseburger was better
Love this family owned, neighborhood spot!! Super friendly, quality food at a great value, and eclectic menu. Huge fan of the meatloaf loco moco, spicy/kimchi mac, burgers, and curry rice plate.
Too bad we found this on our last evening!! Great food, nice comfortable atmosphere. Four of us ordered all very different things and everyone enjoyed. The coffee was great!! Will be back next visit!
Cute and fun lil cafe with delicious food and reasonable prices.
I love Cheeky Cafe. This is our local cafe and we love stopping in. They are a great family restaurant. I haven't had anything on their menu that isn't delicious. Everything from their pancakes to their meatloaf is great. We love coming here again and again.
My boyfriend and I decided to eat here because it was the closest restaurant to our AirBnB house. We were really impressed, the food was an innovative take on American favorites like fish and chips and meatloaf. The restaurant was clean, the service was great, and it was an excellent value. If I lived in Seattle I would eat here all the time. Truly a hidden gem.
Delightful selection of breakfast items. Will definitely be back to try some others (I'm looking at you, matcha pancakes)
Always happy with the quality of the food, reasonable prices, clean, neighborhood diner
Great food service was a little slow but the food 👌over rode that. I had the stuff French toast I asked for berries got banana but was still great... would come again! …
The whole menu looks so good! What I ordered was great. I would go again. I'm stuffed! Unfortunately, my ADHD was on full display and I forgot my leftovers. They would have been so good!
I went based off the Yelp rating. They raved about their Asian fusion breakfast/lunch food. I'll say this much, it was tasty American food but to claim this place as a fusion restaurant is kinda misleading.
I liked my meatloaf sandwich. But my friend Jonathan was indifferent about his loco Moco. And honestly when I stole a bite of it I was also.
One of our favorite neighborhood spots. This is one of my family's indulgences, when we want to treat ourselves to not making dinner. The food is always so nourishing, delicious and wholesome. We always feel welcome when we walk in.
Excellent Sunday morning breakfast spot. First time for the NOT SPICY turkey chili. it was GREAT! Huge variety of things to try.
I had the house burger and it was a pleasant surprise 😊 It was a weekday around 2pm and I went with co-workers for lunch. Atomoshere was relaxed and most of the tables were full. Cute. Casual. Definitely recommend. …
Prices are reasonable. Some slightly adventurous breakfast items, and they also have the basics. Diner fare. I had the matcha pancakes which were light on the matcha flavor.
I've been eating here since 2011. Many changes have happened in that time but the food is the same, hearty and good. There are several Hawaiian items on the menu and I've never had a bad meal at this place.
You can get French toast on the side with your omelette for no added charge: that along is almost five star-worthy. Their gravy is also pretty fantastic.
I got a burger and pancakes through delivery. The pancakes were a bit bland, I wasn't impressed - until I tried the burger. It was incredible - so juicy that just by squeezing the bun you could make a stream of sauce run out of it. The balance of flavor was perfect, the vegetables were perfectly crunchy, the whole experience was mindblowing.
Get the burger. Get it right now.
Variety of great selections (including all day breakfast!), Korean/Japanese fusion food are really good too. They have a few rotating beer on tap which are usually fantastic as well.
Modest eatery with tasty food and excellent service.
I placed an order through a delivery service. I had the spaghetti; a friend had the yaki udon. Both were amazing, and I was impressed by the portion, quality, and flavor. First the spaghetti: the meat sauce was perfectly proportioned to the pasta. It was neither runny nor scant, and was chock-full of ground beef. The yaki udon was perfectly stir-fried, with just enough sauce to give good flavor, without becoming soggy, oily, or salty. The strips of beef were perfectly tender. Both of us were very happy with the food and the value, and we can’t wait to order from Cheeky Cafe again.
Honestly, I don’t understand how everything here is so quality! I’ve been here several times. Each time, the bacon was perfectly balanced between crispy and tender. Today I tried the sweet potato fries and they were seriously the best I’ve had anywhere. You’re really missing out if you don’t come try this place.
I go here a lot for work discussions over lunch. Sometimes the wait can get a little longer than I expect, but never outrageously long. My favorite to get is their meatloaf sandwich. They have a surprising amount of seats, so I've never had to go somewhere else which is nice.
OUTSTANDING food and extremely nice people. I wish this cafe was close to my house and in my home state.
Gorgeous breakfast! Will definitely come by again. Thank you!
Wow, this place is amazing. Their chicken fried steak is like nothing I have ever tried. Very different from a traditional recipe but in a really good way. Delicious!
I absolutely adore this place! There's something on the menu for everyone, it's so varied (and somewhat random), but they seem to put heart and soul into every dish. Their meatloaf Loco moco is my personal favorite, I have an unhealthy obsession. Also, randomly, their chai latte is one of the best I've had....not terribly sweet, but still doesn't need anything added (although, sadly, I have a hunch that it's a mix). The staff are a group of quiet, but very friendly people...you somehow get the sense that they're family, it's nice.
We bring all of our out-of-town friends here, everyone always loves it :)
Go to Cheeky Café, you won't regret it!
A brunch corner in the middle of a residential area that has a large menu but a small shop vibe. I thought their brunch was just average.
I had bacon, eggs, and green tea pancakes. The bacon and eggs were satisfactory, but the pancakes barely had any flavor. Their was a slight aftertaste of green tea, but the pancakes were really bland and disappointing to a green tea lover. I used all the butter and maple syrup, as the honey had frozen over and I couldn't use it on the pancake.
I tried some of my friend's other foods and it was just ok. The gravy for loco moco was too light and barely had any flavor. The loco moco was actually really forgettable when it should've been rich, the meat was too light and the dish was not hearty.
This is a nice casual spot to chill with friends, as it gets loud and busy. Their brunch however is pretty average.
Great food, family owned and operated. They have a but of everything too so no matter what you want to eat I'm sure you'll find it here. They also serve breakfast all day, and they have vegetarian and vegan options.
This is my comfort zone. I love this place. I try to come at least once a month if not more. The environment is really chill and the lady who I assume owns it, is amazingly friendly. I mean she's soo sweet. Love love love them.
Great food but the service can be spotty but they do try hard! They get busy on weekends and it's just a few of them working there, but it's worth the wait! Great Omelette, Chicken Fried Steak, and pasta Carbona
Wwesome place to eat out without going broke. There's a lot of good stuff, my favorite would be the classic fried rice. Very nice customer service. I highly recommend this place.
Nice mix of options, I'll be back for all-day breakfast.
Beautiful latte but didn't take a picture. Food was a little slow. Busy Saturday am. 😎 …
The French toast is excellent as are the cheeky cakes. The chili was a let down. If you're expecting any apreciatable heat from it you'll be disappointed. It's more sweet than anything. The fry bread side was goo though.
Got the fried rice, it was alright nothing spectacular tho.
It's a very cute and family friendly place. The food selection and service is good. Price is fair. However, the food itself is ok. Ordered fried rice and spaghetti, both items were a bit too salty.
Real yummy but pretty slow. They were very nice and brought out or kids food long before ours which was nice so they didn't loose their minds. It's the kind of place that you know everything you can get will be good.
Food is fine here, I like there burgers and sandwiches. Parking on Jackson Street is only for an hour, don't be late. Otherwise your car will earn a ticket.
Excellent breakfast! Gourmet presentation and taste. Friendly service. Great coffee as well.
Great restaurant. Chicken fried steak, spicy mac n cheese, meatloaf on rice, spam and eggs...
In short: Classic Americana with Asian and Pacific touches
The food here is great with lots of interesting options. Maybe because of this, service can be slow when they are busy. As long as you're not in a hurry, it's a good place to eat.
Cashier was polite, and the food took an average amount of time to come out. Ordered the fish and chips. The fries were good, but the fish was not great.
Food was good and front staff was friendly. Got some fried fish and chicken meatballs. I will try some other food items next time!
Local favorite for the wife and I. Great vibe. Wonderful breakfast food. Don't expect fast sevice just that it will be consistent and good. This is a quinticental neighborhood place.
Great Seattle brunch place no one seems to have discovered yet. I've never seen it crowded or had to wait for a table! Cheeky french toast is my fav.
Officially my favorite spot in Seattle. I have not found a restaurant I’ve really liked since moving here.
Really cute little cafe. The food was ok, not amazing. Have to park pretty far away. Service is pretty slow, but it seems that this is a laid back place so kind of the culture.
Not sure how this cute gem isn't packed on the weekends. The interior is so cute, the food was great, prices were good, and the service was wonderful! I plan to come here for all my weekend breakfasts!
We come here at least once a week and it’s our favorite local spot :-)
Good portions, very friendly staff, extremely tasty food. Great coffee too.
What an awesome neighborhood spot. Great for brunch. Just great food at a great price. I bring friends and family from out of town here all the time!
Awesome brunch. The options they have are a little different from the typical American brunch spread, but everything is super tasty. My favorite is the chicken and the egg.
Love this neighborhood restaurant. Always great service and tasty food. Good portions and easy parking around the area.
Always friendly, amazing made-from-scratch food, and an interesting mix of Korean, Americand, and some Hawaiian dishes. Had the Loco Moco and am now an addict.
Very quaint and casual. Choose your own seating and pay before you get your meal. I got the cheeky pancakes with chocolate chips.
Went in with a party of 5, everyone’s dish looked delicious. My quiche hit the spot. It was much larger than I thought it would be. It’s a good thing!
Cute Cafe with great late's and French toast. Good variety on menu, I will definitely be going back
The Cheeky French Toast was amazing. Plenty of sitting and he waitress was super nice. Would def recommend.
Great local place. Pancake breakfast was reasonably priced and tasty. Lot's of interesting dishes I want to try next time.
I love Cheeky! The French toast is a favorite! They’re so kind as well. Eggs are seasoned to perfection!
Always great food! Prices very reasonable. Have been coming to Cheeky Cafe since they opened. Best kept secret of the Central District!
Exceptionally friendly staff, great atmosphere, and tasty food. They blend Asian recipes with American comfort food and everything I've had has been nothing short of an A.
I keep coming back. Love the giant french toast. Coffee is good. Touch expensive but i feel the service makes up for it. Good experience.
We ate the Spicy Mac with Spam. Delicious. They serve breakfast all day and they have Moco Loco on the menu. I'm coming back.
Very nice breakfast, but since it was a smaller restaurant, definitely want to go there when you aren't pressed for time.
My Favorite spot in the CD. Very friendly staff and the food is excellent.
When in Seattle on the weekend's Cheeky's is my #1 choice for breakfast 😋. Excellent comfort food that fills you up. …
One of my favorite Diners...food is unique, well crafted. Service is excellent
Not bad. Kind of a cool/different place to try out. Food is pretty good and recipes are a bit different. I like the twist they put on a lot of their dishes.
They have plenty of options, my favorite is the vegetarian Loco Moco. The owners are amazing and super nice, highly recommend!
Great breakfast!! Had the chicken fried steak and hash browns. Very good flavor!!
The cheeky cafe is a great neighborhood spot. There is a lot of Asian influence in their dishes and it works well. So far there isn't anything that I haven't liked so far.
Great food and attentive staff. Has some vegetarian options. A little slow to serve, but it's worth the wait!
Great food near Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. Your stomach and your wallet are going to be happy. The Cheeky rocks! Get the meatloaf.
Very good food and awesome service. I recommend everything on the menu it's so delicious.
Food was great! Got the veggie omelette and a side banana pancake.
Classic American breakfast, prepared well, no line outside. Chicken fried steak is exceptional.

I'm a chef and I approve of this spot, the food is incredible and that's hard to find around the Seattle area.
Really good food and lovely staff. I was impressed and I’m picky.
Great food, yummy pancakes but it takes a long time to get food and one of the servers is always grumpy :(

Small cafe but cute. Food and service was very good. Will return.
I don’t like spam, but the spam and eggs are amazing. Can’t get enough.

Super tasty food and friendly staff!
This is my third time here, and I had three different meals. I recommend this place. I was lost & found this place randomly. I come here mostly every weekend for the customers, the vibe of the chill peace, away from downtown Seattle, the owner is very nice & adorable. Good prices here for sandwiches, salads, specials, soup, burgers , pancakes, breakfasts and drinks. Come check it out!
