Reviews of Capitol Cider

If you want to drink something different than beer, this is a great place for you! Capitol Cinder is a restaurant and a cinder brewery, they have tons of different cinders. There are so many different types and flavors that you will get impressed. Here we ordered some fruit-semi-sweet ciders and fish & ships, both were amazing. You should try this place out if you want a sip of tap cider!

First time been here. Didn’t know that it is a gluten free restaurant. We ordered broccoli, calamari, cheese curd and polenta with chicken. All tasted delicious especially the cider. Wait staffs were friendly and provided good service. I highly recommend come to this restaurant if you never been. They have lots of options for food and drinks.

Being all celiac friendly- the cider is great, the food is decent. It is true that the QR code menu is not updated so ask your server for what's on tap. I wasn't wowed by the $15 autumn beet salad or even pricier poached tuna salad - there simply weren't enough toppings or that "wow" factor that I couldn't make it at home. The cider was great, but they didn't make that! The servers are nice, and I know it means a lot to the gluten-free community.

Definitely the best fried cheese curds in my lives. The fries are nice, too. However, the burger and the chili are kind mild. Overall, nice atmosphere and ok food.
Not too sure about the living wage stuff.🤔🤔

Celiac safe! The chili fries are my favorite! You can sit indoors or outdoors (I always sit outdoors). Since the whole menu is gluten free you have so many options. Service can be slow, make a reservation!! The ciders are very good as well.

Likely the best gluten free brunch place in Seattle. I had the gluten free biscuits and gravy with a fried egg on top. Wow. Fresh, tasty, large portions, and fast. The biscuits and gravy are better than regular, non-gf biscuits I've had in the past. They're extremely fresh and hearty and the gravy was the perfect amount of thick and savory. I actually can't believe I ate most of it because each biscuit was about the size of my fist (I am female though, so smaller hands, but still) but it was a cold rainy Seattle morning so the hot savory food hit just right. The coffee was just alright so don't think you're going there for the coffee but the gf good more than makes up for it.
Parking was horrible though so I highly recommend taking an app car to arrive.

What a unexpectedly wonderful place. Had friends visiting who wanted a Cider focused place.
Went in intending to just get a few drinks and ended up with a full dinner instead.
Loved the side of steak, what a great idea!
The whiskey tasting flight was great as well.
Will definitely be back. Hostess was a little rude but the server was amazing.

Hands down my favourite place in Seattle! Wednesdays at Cap Cider are a must. It feels like a small lively tavern with incredible jazz (crowd sourced, you can sign up to sing or play!) and dancing. The best crowd always. (Scotty on the piano is a personal favourite!)
And their Ruby Rose Cider is delicious.

Amazing little restaurant and cider house. Get the meads, they're incredible... I went back later for another one, haha. Also, You HAVE to try the char-grilled broccoli... It's ADDICTINGLY delicious 🤤.
IMPORTANT: Ask for a paper menu because the online menu might not be accurate. (I had a little mix up with the mead flight that I ordered, but they were very accommodating)

Very cozy and classic atmosphere, great service, friendly staff, and a nice assortment of ciders. If you’re looking for a various sampling of local ciders this is the stop!
We had one appetizer and two entrees but sadly found the food lackluster. None of the plates were bad, but I wouldn’t have recommended any of the dishes we had (the rigatoni and the risotto).
