Just darn good burgers. Really liked the veggie burger and fries were good too. Just something nostalgic about a drive-in, and the staff are very friendly and fast! Malted milkshakes sounded good too, and plenty of flavors :) also appreciate how they have a good variety on their menu from fish and chips, chicken tenders, fish burgers, grilled cheese with varieties, and mini meal sizes!

I got the fish burger and to my surprise was so juicy and flavorful. For a drive in and out spot, I was honest surprised the food was priced so high. The shakes were small. I’d go back though if I felt like splurging on fast food.

Food was good but at this location it is a drive up. They take your order and bring your food which is nice. They expect a tip and the only quick options on the tablet is 18-22% which is pretty stiff for fast food honestly. Then when we were finished eating there was no place to put our trash, like no cans around so I turned on my lights and the "server" came over and looked at me really weird. I open my window and nicely hand her our bag of garbage. She said we don't normally take this. I asked why? I tipped you and there is no other place for it. She said for sanitary reasons. I was like really? I bus tables every day, if I used that excuse I would be fired. Lol. Won't go back to that location since apparently asking for service after a tip is looked down upon.

First time at the Aurora location. Not sure if I was having an off day or the food, but I kept wishing our lovely server (excellent service!) had included salt in our bag of burgers. Don't get me wrong. The quality of ingredients is high. And LOVE grilled onions on my burger. And fresh vegetables! But yah, all of us in the car felt like our burgers were just, well, bland. Pumpkin shake worth the calories, though. 👍

I've been in Seattle for years and finally tried this place the other day! My wife read somewhere that they have a veggie burger, but when we drove up it wasn't on the menu. Luckily, the waitress who came up to our car explained that they *do* have them, the menu just wasn't updated yet. She ordered that and I got the classic Burgermaster. We both really enjoyed our burgers, plus the fries were nice and crispy as well. Overall this place matched exactly what I heard about it, great burgers at a good price with a fun drive-up diner style that I really enjoyed.

A drive-in style restaurant; they bring the food out to your car. The bacon burgermaster was really tasty. Drive through may be faster than this drive-in, but if you're not in a hurry this is a nice alternative.

The burgers and fries were quite cold, even though I took the meals directly home. Unfortunately, their soda machine was not working, but the lemonade suggested by the server was good. The burgers didn't have a lot of taste, either. The tarter sauce was great, though.

Absolutely one of the best Burger's in the PNW. Service and speed are excellent and the employee's are very nice. The exterior lighting is a bit dark and could use an upgrade to brighter LED lights but I would still HIGHLY recommend them because you won't be disappointed !

Food is delicious however a bit expensive. The shakes are always perfection, especially the Tom & Jerry. Lately, service has been a little slow, so I would advise calling in the order and then going to pick it up. There are often people in the parking lot asking for money/food.

Omg, the food here is impressive. I mean, look at this menu. If your love of burgers is as strong as mine, you will have difficulty choosing what to eat here. The only problem with that is the burger master had me hooked from the moment I walked in. My Husband originally visited this place before me and told me what a great place it was and bragged on how I had to try their "burgers" and "fries with the "Tarter Sauce" and how it was the best I was ever going to taste. Well, let me tell you! My husband didn't exaggerate ENOUGH!!!! The menu was too much for me to decide on what I wanted, so I decided on the Bacon Master, my husband ordered the double bacon master, and the kids had the mini bacon master and chicken/chips with lemonades. And everything was cooked to perfection. All five of us were drooling over our food as we savored each bite. We ordered from the regular menu, and all five meals were great and full. I highly recommend it! Sorry, I don't have pictures to post. I was ready to eat, lol.

It's fast food, but it's better than most. Service can be slow sometimes, but the staff are friendly and I think they do their best. Try the Turkeymaster if you want a lighter meal.

Ordered the the #1 combo Burgermaster with shake (strawberry). I was halving this with my boyfriend. They must have heard and even cut it in half for us. We also ordered a kids meal. It includes a very small piece of fish with lemon and nice portion of fries. It even came with a sweet Dums Sucker as a treat. Which I thought was cute. Fish portion could have been bigger.... Employees were wearing masks. Masks are required to go inside. Service was cheerful and server appeared to like his job. 🙂 I wanted to give 4 stars. However, the bathroom was rather scarey. Our server was very polite and said it had been freshly cleaned this morning... I could not tell because when I entered there was a low light blue light. Almost like a blue nightlight for lighting in the restroom. Which is scarey even though there's a key to enter, (get key from inside), the restroom is in the back of Burgermaster in an alleyway. For safety purposes the store management should invest in a brighter lightbulb that's not blue in color. Than there's the size of the kids fish. She already ate before I could take pic. Bit bigger than a chicken nugget. Finally, the fries aren't terrible if eaten right off bat but let them sit a few minutes and they get hard and rather tasteless unless you use tartar sauce or ketchup ect.. Which they have on hand in small containers. Our #1 combo Burgermaster burger was delicious!

Good burgers fries & shakes and more as usual from Burgermaster. This is the Burgermaster on Aurora Avenue North and it's probably the smallest in size of all of the Burgermasters. I hardly ever go to this one but was in the area finishing up work and was hungry, had to wait a little longer for my order even though it didn't seem crowded. The lady who took my order and most of the servers seemed very nice and pleasant. Car hop service here of course and there is also a small counter with stools inside so you could eat inside if you want to. It's slightly up priced but the main thing is it's a Burgermaster and Burgermaster food is very good, that's all you really need to know.

Took my sister here for lunch the other day. The staff was so friendly and helpful. You can order from your vehicle or go inside and order, like we did. They offer limited seating inside or you can eat in your vehicle. This place reminded me of the old A &W; However, the food at this particular Burgermaster on Aurora was way better.

Happened upon this driving down the road and made a note to come back and check it out. Google searched and watched video and article about the history of the restaurant. Made my way to try it and it lives up to the hype! A delicious burger! I ordered the #1 Combo of a burgermaster burger, fries, and shake. I added a tartar sauce for dipping. Best tartar I've had in the PNW so far! Burger was freshly grilled, delicious, and loved the fresh crunchy toppings of onion, pickle, lettuce, and tomato. The combo will cost you almost $12, plus tartar, tax and tip it was about $17 all in. Pricey for fast food, but worth it for the drive in experience, quality food, and friendly car side service. A throwback to childhood that's worth the stop!

The meals is just like Dick's.. However they make the burgers in place of it being already made. It's the traditional greasy-spoon drive up diner type of burger. Chock full of sodium! Yum!

Good fries and shakes, only it stinks they charge extra for ketchup and other sauces. First time having a burger here, it was ok, too many onions, lettuce, and tomatoes, not enough sauce and burger was kinda overdone, not as tasty as I've had at another location. Friendly service, small indoor counter for inside dining, otherwise car only dining. Not the best location. Bus stops right across street on both sides.

This is a great drive-in restaurant. I grew up in Florida, and we had a pretty good one in my hometown, that doesn't really exist on this coast. But when I moved into my new apartment and saw this place was so close, I knew I had to try it. It's absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. The servers are always very nice as well.

The food was spot on. We went there for our lunch break and not a good stop for that unless you can pre order. It took to long to get our food. We ended up going back late to work and didn't get to finish it. We only got a few bites and had to run back into work. But what we did get was a spot on server and perfect food and shakes. We did wish they had a larger shake that was the one thing we could bring on site and it filled the void. But I would totally recommend this place.

The Quality of the food was decent, I wasn't impressed with the Patty honestly the size of my meal was good just the Quality didn't impress me. Very friendly wait staff that come out to your car and take your order. Definitely a dog friendly establishment. The server came out twice with dog treats for our dogs while we were waiting for our order to be delivered. Very good burgers and their french fries are excellent.

Placed a phone order from work and timed my arrival at Burgermaster so that I only had to wait a minute. They do a great job on a burger, cheese burger or burger melt. I had a Burgermaster and deep-fried onion rings. Hardly any grease and you don't end up eating the batter crust separate from the onion. Btw, they have thick shakes, too.

Burgermaster, an old line Seattle Burger Drive- In, is still using Car Hops. it is home to the "Burgermaster" and "Baconmaster" , and a very tasty Fish sandwich, and more. The fries are pretty good, but like an Old Line Car Hop drive-in, the floats and milkshakes are great. The car hops are no longer highschool cuties, some are guys, for some English is not their native language...but Burgermaster remains anchored in the American good old days. Now, if the cook could find where he lost that salt shaker, it would be perfect.

I'm actually writing about a visit that was almost a year ago. I took my mom to Burgermaster before her appointment at Northwest Hospital. Great food! Our car battery died. After I attempted to start the car, and was calling for roadside assist, one of the restaurant ladies realized we were in trouble and brought out one of those hand-held jumpstarter packs and competently connected it to our battery and we were good-to-go. Such a great, old school drive-in--and veggie burgers, too!

As an IT geek at-heart, this Seattle chain has been on my radar every since I learned a young B Gates and team feasted on BM - back in the day .. and this was my first time as a BM virgin, so here's my take. The whole car hop thing has always been less appealing than just a drive-thru for me, I think I associate it with my parents generation... but no tea no shade, my server was excellent. It was that small chain deliciousness, which I expected and got served. Love it ❤️

Great atmosphere. Loved the older woman who helped us tonight. Burger was huge and not all smoothed down or soggy. Nice thick hot fudge milkshake. The chicken's breading left more to be desired and maybe would be better on fish, but otherwise was perfect!

A bit overpriced, not the full burgermaster menu. Visited the Burgermaster in Bellevue and it was much quicker, the staff friendlier, and the menu was larger, with different sizes. This one seemed like a mini version of the Bellevue one. All food served fresh which is good but for the time it took and it being less busy than Bellevue, for it not having the full menu, and staff not being as friendly, I give it 3 stars. Go to Bellevue instead if you like Burgermaster.

Burgermaster is a bit of a rare breed in the age of drive through, or dine in, as you do everything without needing to leave your car. You park, read the menu, turn on your lights when you're ready and the server comes out to take your order. If you want to "dine in," they come out with a tray that hooks to your window and you're ready to eat. If you're big on meat, I recommend the baconmaster with fries, it's more than enough to fill you up. Their shake are good too! Thick, but not thick enough to block a straw.

This place was a complete surprise. I tend to plan out everywhere I go to eat for a little while advance and I find those places online. We passed by Burgermaster on the way to drop my cats off to the vet and we decided on the cuff to attend after. It was amazing! Same quality as a diner burger at fast food speed. The person who helped us was patient and kind, despite how busy it was! We'll definitely be back.

Best burgers and best price! But quality controI had gone down. Last time I ordered fries where soaking in grease and their was nasty fish tasting black stuff at the bottom I accidentally ate. Nearly made me puke clean your Fryer and make sure your not leaving the fries soaked. like to get the bacon burger no cheese(it’s not that good) but everything else is great(except their ketchup they need to get better ketchup) and then put a fried egg in it! The great people who work at this location are like one big family who takes pride in their service. I have been coming here for many years and it is always the same people coming up to my window to take my order and bring the food out. It is so rare to see the same people year after year at a fast-food establishment, so they must be doing something right by their employees! I appreciate that kind of loyalty, which is just one reason I love going to Burgermaster!

Burgers were pretty decent. Actually looked like a burger would be if I were to make it at home on the bbq. But a bit expensive. I believe it was around $14+ for just a burger and some fries. A bit much in my opinion when you can get much much more at literally any other burger place around.

A little pricy for what is a burger fries and a soda ($13) but pretty tasty. The grilled cheese is pretty small and flat but tastes great. Fries are either not salted or very lightly salted, but they give you a little salt packet so you can salt accordingly. Onion rings are super tasty. Smells freshly fried and a rich onion smell will permeate your car if you eat them there. Overall gives me a Kid Valley vibe but in a simple drive up setting. Absolutely packed around 6 PM when we visited; almost every parking spot was filled with people eating.

We went to Burgermaster to pick up lunch, and our car died! Our server went and got a jump box and helped us figure out how to use it. They really went above and beyond. Lunch was excellent as well.

Food was good, but the server took forever and forgot something and had to come back 3 different times, and did a poor job explaining that there is no substitution on the combo prices and didn't bother mentioning that since 3 out of the 4 combo meals we ordered asked for Onion rings none of those meals got the discounted combo pricing. That wasn't mentioned till I complained about what looks like a overcharge to me..

This place wins nostalgia points. I’m partial to the chocolate malt. I grew up on the bacon cheeseburger, although I can’t handle it as well anymore. I tried the chicken tendies for the first time. They were small and cute, nothing to write home about. Service is always friendly and I had a very nice lady at the window the other day.

Burgermaster is a small chain drive in restaurant with a very small menu, ok prices but good tastes. This location is usually busy but the staff is quick on things, and also pretty friendly. Makes sure to ask for the fry sauce as it's much better than the options they give you up front. Also, make sure to turn your lights on when you pull up and want service as that's how they know when you're ready.

Not the fanciest place in town but dang it's Aurora. These burgers are solid, always hot The beef is grass-fed, fries are good, services solid, milkshakes are real good. It's no fancy burger place but it's great if you just need a good burger and a shake.

Honestly it was my first time ever at a joint like this and I found it quite enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and ready to come and serve you. With it being a new experience to me I didn't realize that it was a drive in take out/diner. Anyways the food was phenomenal, the shake was blended perfectly and even if you can't decide a on one flavor, you can request to mix and match which was nice~ the burgers where juicy and well done. The onion rings where good, tho I had one bite of the onion rings and the whole onion slides out as you are just left with a huge cluster of batter (which was on the oily side to me) anyways it all tasted phenomenal!! The only thing I would recommend for this diner is to have the Drive in menu to be a little but bigger but other than that it was sooooo good

Love Burgermaster I have been having combo Number one's with the chocolate shake since before I could walk love all the Burger masters still think the Bellevue Burger master has his best grill but girl quality establishments for a decent Burger meal and a hurry. Definitely support a fast food restaurant that still pays a decent wage to its employees and seems to have some efforts at retention 1st said employees.

Best friend and I were driving aimlessly when we saw a retro-looking building out of our peripheral vision. It's ok, I haven't been to a burger master in ages so I didn't have any expectations. I thought my burger patty was dry and way too many onions. Fries are average. My daughter liked her chicken burger though .

Always great grass fed beef, and good customer service. The only reason they don't get a 5-star and more visits from me is because they slap that nasty processed American cheese on that quality meat. Ugh. The least they could do is to have real cheddar available upon request.

For the quality of food you get here the price is just too high. Ordering a combo vs a burger & small fries is the same cost, which is around $12. The fries are mediocre, but decent portions. The veggie burger is fairly tasteless and mushy. Adding anything to the burgers, customizing them, or getting sauces sneaks the price up even more. The drive in style service is cool, I guess, but I find it awkward when I don't know what to do with my tray and I'm trying to keep the garage from flying off.

An original Burgermaster location that's a must when traveling north of Seattle. Love the food. However note to management, as a long time customer I am distressed that the Banana milkshake is no longer offered. It was my go to shake stop, now, not so much. Shame on the manager at this location who made that decision.

The server was a bit much, as I couldn't tell what she was asking me when she mumbled everything but the grass fed beef is a big selling point to me. Also you dont have to get out of your car, which I love. They do have indoor seating, but when I'm out and about with my dog, this is a good option for fast delicious food.

Great location when near the University of Washington campus. A spot the entire family is sure to enjoy. One perk of this location is indoor seating. We weren't in the mood to eat in the car.

I'm usually all about the beef but for some reason I really wanted a fish sandwich of all things. I was very impressed to have a double stacked crispy fish sandwich with cheese come out and it was awesome. I'm sure the burgers are great because if you can do a fish sandwich right then you can definitely make a burger. The service was also quick and friendly! Definitely will come back.

Delicious, but really expensive. $15 for a bacon burger and fries or onion rings. About $15 to $18 per person, but in the end, it's a real treat because the flavor is there--way better than McDonalds. Great burgers, fries and milkshakes. You can't go wrong here! The staff here is pretty nice and are usually pretty quick with getting your order and delivering it fast. Update: I check in here a lot. My fiancee loves this place because they advertise themselves as local and serve up only the finest of meat (grass-fed and hormone free). I don't mind paying the price just because I know I'm getting quality food. I usually go for a Burgermaster combo which consist of the burger, fries and a drink for around $10. I personally think the burgers are really good! TIP: If you are really feeling adventurous, order two flavors for your shakes! You will not regret it. I typically get strawberry/banana or oreo/hot fudge.

Let's get one thing straight right off the bat. This is not a high-end $20 Burger served with truffle fries and a cocktail. This is a straight-up, down and dirty, go to Burger. You drive up in your car, you order, they serve you, you eating your car, you pay, you leave. It's just that simple. This is my definite go to Burger Spot. Surprisingly good burgers at a really great price. Pretty good fries. Seriously excellent onion rings. No kidding. And a very respectable milkshake which you can order malted. Only my favorite thing on the menu is the crab and swiss melt. It should be illegal for something to be this delicious. Everywhere else I've had a comprable crab melt the price has been about twice as much. If you want to impress your in-laws, do not take them here. On the other hand if you want to grab great burger on the go with some tasty fries and a shake, this place is for you.

A different dining experience. You can read the menu boards from your car. Then turn on your lights for service. Turn them off when your order is taken. Don't forget to turn them back when you want to pay this nice trusting establishment. I recommend the tasty grilled cheese sandwich with grilled onions and extra tomato.

A fun little drive-in experience like the one offered by Burgermaster is a rare breed nowadays. Burgermaster has some of the best burgera available in any fast food joint. They forgot our third order of fries but that's a small price to pay for such a quality experience as can only be offered by a classic style drive-in.

Been coming to Burgermaster all of my life! Love it! They have yummy, drip down your hands burgers, great onion rings, and good fries. The milkshakes are my favorite, and one of the few places that actually uses real bananas still! For those that don't want a burger, they have grilled cheese, BLT's, and other options. A favorite in my family is their Grilled Crab & Swiss Cheese sandwich. Like malts? They make them like the old malt shops used to! Veggie burgers are an option here, too. All drive in, no sit down restaurant, but they offer a key to a restroom out back if you need it while you're here.

Have driven by the Burger master lots of times so decided to check it out today. Very basic menu of burgers and fries, but with a name like"Burgermaster" it was exactly what I expected. You park your car and turn on your headlights, then wait for the friendly waitperson to come over and take your order. I totally loved that they had a gluten free bun! They bring your food right to your car with a tray that sits on your window. I liked my burger and fries. I would go again.

I've been making references to turning my lights on for service all week so far to no avail. Since i went with my girl,i have to say and she agreed, was oddly romantic, we got that running joke now, even the cop pulled in next next to us was stuffing his face, little recreational odor in the air for sure somewhere, no matter, there was an air of love and happiness and pretty sure the fresh Prince was talking about this type of thing when he redifined summer madness, listening to tunes not moving a muscle it's just so much better than drive through and I'm not sure why, it just is. Oh and turns out that song never came on the radio, so i had to play it off course. It was a good day and a little nod of approval from Johnny law, i nodded back, and thought this is what it's all about. A proper burger a good vibe and yeah take a date there in the summer, watch what happens.

I've been eating at Burger Master since my folks started taking me there when I was about 2 or 3 I think. This is a diff location, so while the amazing burgers are the same, the memories aren't like they are in the U-District. I've never had anything but an honest-to-goodness beef burger but I think they have chicken and veggie boc'a patties if I'm not mistaken. The one thing I absolutely love about the U-Village location is the pea salad with bacon and mayo salt and pepper. Sounds gross, bomb AF! Milkshakes are handmade deliciousness. My favorite is the BlackBerry but I think they have peanut butter, hot fudge, and mint chocolate yumyums. If you haven't been, GOOOOOO. Its great food! P.S. the tartar sauce here is amazing too

Sure, Dicks has the market cornered on iconic burger joints in the Seattle area, but that makes Burgermaster the best kept secret. My favorite order is the Baconmaster, Onion Rings, and a Peanut Butter Shake...all for a fair & reasonable price. All this plus an old-school drive in style of service and this place would win any challenge over any burger joint in the Metro area.

Covid-19 worries for dining? Burgermaster has been doing dine in your car since opening. We got the Chickenmaster and Burgermaster and so good we forgot to take pictures! Everything is served piping hot including onion rings. The rings are cooked right with a nice crispy batter and not geasy and soggy. They're a Seattle treasure for fast-food dining.
