Reviews of Boiling Point

Boiling point was my fave meal when I visited Seattle. It was super filling and I was able to finish the whole pot. They’re also individual pots so you and your friends don’t have to share. The broth was tasty, the hot pot also comes with a green or black tea. I picked the green tea and it was overall fantastic. The staff was polite and attentive. Would def recommend! There’s also a ton of things to do nearby.

It’s usually a wait whenever we are here which is fine very popular place~
Food comes out pretty fast after ordering. The portions are small once cook down so I do have to order more extra items on the side. But still a good place 🙂 …

Boiling Point is definitely a must try restaurant. It was one of my favorite experiences when I visited Seattle. The meal was incredible. It was hearty without feeling overwhelming and overall was a very fun eating experience. I would definitely return next time.
Vicki
It’s been many months since I last had @boilingpointgroup in the Bay Area, and I’m so glad that they have a location in Seattle! Love my go-to House Special (“stinky pot” has always been my favorite one-person pot in Taiwan), and I think mild is perfect because it’s not too spicy so the broth flavor still permeates. This pot is loaded with ingredients, and comes with a free cup of tea during lunch times!

The whole experience was great! I was craving some hot soupy meal so decided to take a drive there… love how their fermented soups taste! Can’t wait to go back
Jason Lee
The individual hot pots here are excellent. The dipping sauces are delicious. Also, you should get an iced tea to go with your meal. It pairs well with the spicy dipping sauces. The beef option never disappoints.

First time trying dry hotpot, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the food. I was surprised that the food was already cooked for you, as opposed to normal hotpot places where you'd cook your own food. The seafood and beef were really good though, and they definitely gave just enough to fill you up.
Nick Low
Ordered a house hotpot delivery. Glad the food arrived warm. The vermicelli is not dry and clumped together, which is great. Soup base is of average, not very rich and a bit on the bland side. Taiwanese tofu is good. Has tons of veges. The portion is a little bit small for that price tag. Overall, worth the try.

Seattle Boiling Points just hit different! I've had the BPs in Bellevue and Edmonds, and a huge plus is their consistency!
We came by the ID location on Monday for lunch around noon. To our surprise, I was expecting at least a 30-60min wait, but we were sat immediately, and it was less than half full!
I always get the fish ball curry (with no cream). Rice, and I upgrade my green tea to a large. BP green tea is so good too!!! One of the best. This time around, it was on the sweeter side...but not big of a deal.
Parking validation available in the lot that shares with uwajimaya.
I always prefer going to BP during lunch for the free green tea :) Dinner costs more and no green tea...

Soooo good!! We ordered the Beef #4! And the spicy beef appetizer. A milk black tea 😋 The food was great! Service not so much! Yes they are busy but I saw lots of waiters just walking around. So they’re not short handed! Our waiter took our order brought our food and apparently after that his job was done lol that is the only reason for a 4 star

Always heard good things about Boiling Point from my sisters 👯♀️ and I love hotpot myself! Tried the milk cream curry 🍛 and it was so yummy!mil

The large Taiwanese spicy hot pot is so good - super spicy, loaded with flavorful goodies and amazing rainy day comfort food. Staff are very friendly too. Very crowded on weekends and they don't accept reservations so best to head there earlier and put your name and number down and walk around the neighborhood for a while.

Just okay. Long line to get in. Hot pot broth alright. Selection of items in the hot pot interesting. Meat overcooked in the boiling broth. Little too much tofu for my taste.
Justin Chan
The most unfortunate detail about this restaurant is the service time; while service itself is good once they get to you, the time it takes to receive a table, have your order taken, and have your check delivered and processed is lengthy at best. The food is underwhelming as compared to the menu photos - we ordered the seafood and tofu hot pot and found it contained just about 1 piece of each listed items. The broth was mild and the sauces at the table should be highly considered for improving the flavor. Rice was served colder than room temperature. Ultimately, there are better hot pot places in the ID.
Brian M. Demkowicz
First time there. Plentiful portions, good ingredients. I can only imagine how big the 'large' soups are. Service was friendly and not rushed, even though the place seems to be busy all the time. It was just a short wait and they have a cool system that texts you when your table is ready, so you can browse the local shops while you wait. Will definitely visit again... oh, get the garlic pork belly starter... it's way tasty!
Traveling Foodie
Be aware even the mild is spicy! I don’t recommend this place if you can’t handle spicy ness. I had the meat pot which was good, but I was thrown off of because of the amount of heat in the meal. I like to have mild and then add heat with chili sauce, but this was spicy for a mild! (For reference-spicier than siracha and jalapeños but not spicier than ghost peppers)
The overall meal was okay. How it works is they bring over a pot with a mechanism of heat. It is ordered for 1 person. It literally boils and when you want to turn off the heat you let the staff know and they can extinguish the fire. The staff doesn’t refill your water or pay attention. Typically you have to grab them for help. The beef one is good and has a lot of options within it.
Permastain
Very good soup. We did house special. Even better rice and egg to go with it. Right in China Town in Seattle. Good shopping too. Street's a little messy, but it's Seattle, to be expected.
stan yu
Not my typical style of hot pot as I do like to choose each individual ingredient myself but all the ingredients and broth had a nice flavor. I do like how each pot gets an individual burner, that was pretty cool. The holy cow appetizer was also a great dish. Lots of flavor
Aleric Lucero
My family has been coming here for a bit now. They invited me on this visit. I am glad they did it was a very enjoyable experience. I ordered the Spicy Tangy Beef, crab and a Winter Melon Juice. From there I tasted a little of every thing from my siblings food. I really like how the tofu rgathered all the juices. It's a very filling visit. I will have to make frequent visits here soon. Get myself another refreshing juice in the sunny days to come.
Buggy
Delicious hotpot. Being a franchise of Boiling Point, the food is the same as the other Boiling Point locations - yummy! I generally don’t like the drinks, but the food is great especially when the weather is on the cooler side. My favorite ones
are the beef / lamb / seafood one.
M M
Food is always great. This is more of a caution review if you park in their lot (Uwajimaya). When you pay your bill, they say they validated your parking, but today was the 3rd time it's happened that I went to try my ticket, it "coincidentally" wasn't validated. We asked the lady at ticket stand if this happens often, she said all the time - that way Boiling Point doesn't have to pay for the patrons parking. Make sure to take your lunch receipt so you can show the parking attendant - then they'll be charged :)
Kenneth Langley
Always very busy, which is a sign of good food. Wierd cuts of meat cooked Taiwanese style. Delicious sauces at your table. Very unique hot pot.
Kenny Thai
Perfection. Let the noodles cook before you eat. Don't be basic and use rice. Food isn't giga spicy which is good. Use the side sauces. They provide a drink already do not order another unless you are thirsty. Use that money for tip. Service is insane tip well or I will come for you.
Mike Wu
A really great authentic hotpot place. There are a bunch of different combos to choose from, and spice level is very customisable. The service is really good as food came out fast and I didn't have to worry about water refills. The food itself is also very delicious, filling, and well worth the price. It can get crowded during peak hours though so be warned. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to eat some delicious hotpot in Seattle!
Roger Lee
Have visited this place many times. The food is always good here and the quality has been very consistent. Although it's not cheap, it is still a great place whenever you want something hot and warm and savory. (Visit during lunch time if possible for the cheaper price and a free drink) House special is my favorite on the menu. But be careful cause it contains pork intestine and fermented tofu. Avoid it if you are not a fan of those things. Except for the house special, beef, and Taiwanese spicy, the soup bases for other options are more on the sweeter side. The Taiwanese spicy is really spicy for me and I consider myself having regular tolerance to spicy food. If it were not for the price, 5 stars.
June
The best time is to show up right before they're about to open because the indoor dining is limited and there's almost always a wait. The food was very good and serving size was good (we went for lunch). You can park in the uwajimaya parking lot and get your parking validated in the restaurant. or else, there's limited street parking around the streets. We got the beef and the lamb.
Garrett N.
Often busy with a lot of people waiting to get in to this place, but they now have an electronic kiosk set up where you can check in with number of people in your party and get a paper ticket or enter your mobile number to get a text message when your table is ready. Super helpful and convenient! The food here is great with around 10–12 different soup bases with varying levels of spiciness and varieties of meats and vegetables to choose from. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Yen-Linh Nguyen
Line is long and service is shotty but who cares because food is good, and it's more fun to eat with a group of friends more than regular restaurants without the hassle of places like kbbq or shared hotpots. Go to lunch instead of dinner for free tea (their green tea is actually super good)
Remo Dela Cruz
Easily the best Boiling Point locations I have been to. As with other locations, expect to wait in line if you don't come in as soon as they open for lunch. The service was noticeably better than other locations. Food is excellent for the value.
Quintin Coppola
Not bad overall. The broth for the Thai Fusion was great; lemongrass, a bit sour, touch of garlic, and a good mouth feel. Service was a little slow and they had forgotten our rice. Definitely go with someone else to enjoy your hotpot and some conversation.
dinh tran
I love this place even though it quite expensive. The hotpot is really good and spot on for me. There are some of the small think that you need to remember when you visit are:
It is really crowded during peak so be prepared or expect ahead.
You can go during lunch for cheaper price and have a free drink.
The upgrade rice is worth, but consider the food portion. It could be huge for some people.
Max Soi
Fast casual Taiwanese chain that serves multi-ingredient single person hot-pots in a variety of flavors. They also introduce new flavors and styles from time to time. Ingredients are pretty good. The broth is well seasoned. Lunch is about $13 and dinner is about $17 without a drink. Their milk and bubble teas are pretty good. Service was quite nice and speedy.
Persia Kaizuken
Looks just like menu/website pictures😁Was very tasty, I got the beef set with mild spicy, comes with tea and choice of rice or vermicelli. Felt like a delicious medium spicy🤔 Good veggies and meat, and the tea was good. My only side comment was it was kinda steamy and the spicy got in my face a bit so i had a runny nose. But thats just it boiling, hence the name boiling point, so beware, try to angle your face to avoid if you get spicy.
Very tasty jelly given at end of meal. Definitely affordable but lacking the self cooking of a hot pot, it is all put in at the start as shown.
Tracy Cambron
Just get whatever the special is, food is super fresh and wait staff outstanding. I had the miso with seafood and there's was enough to take home. The bathroom could use a make-over though.
Aaron Teh
The hot pot here was really authentic Taiwanese hot pot. I was amazed at how many pre-determined selections there were, and the portions were pretty big too. The soup tastes really good, I had the seafood and tofu soup and I was not disappointed. I would only say that the customer service could have been a little better, but that was probably because they were so busy with so many customers, especially during peak hours. I would really recommend this place if you love Taiwanese-style hot pot!
Curtis
Traditional Taiwanese “Stinky Pot”, very tasty soup base and food. Friendly staff, one of the best restaurants in the ID
Jennifer 怡慧 Lin
Taiwanese mini hotpot, came here for lunch and found the portion to be quite fulfilling. The meal also comes with a black or green tea, which we found it to be quite refreshing.
Jessiz
Tasty Taiwanese comfort food! It was perfect after a long hike - we all loved the personal hot pot style. Taste-wise, it's not mind-blowingly amazing, but it's enjoyable. There are a various options, for your preferences, including seafood and vegetarian - unfortunately, they don't allow swapping out ingredients, though you can ask for ingredients to be removed. You can request either rice or vermicelli, which is great. For lunch, there's complimentary iced green tea. There are dipping sauces at the table for use, though it's not super clean. Portions were good - not too much, but enough to fill up a person with a standard stomach size, I guess?
This location can be pretty busy, especially with it being located right next to Uwajimaya. Parking is validated for the first two hours. Service is kind of strange - had to wait a while to be seated (20-30m at 4pm), even though there were a couple open tables, and after being seated, we also had to wait a while to place our order, finally flagging down an employee who was kind of just hanging out.
Overall, mixed service experience; would come again for personal hot pot!
David Chui
I go every single time I'm in downtown Seattle. This place is amazing, damn near the best hotpot ever. Wish there was a bit less cabbage and a bit more meat or noodles, but that doesn't take away from the fantastic taste and quality of the food.
Teiyuri Aoshima
The soup is delicious but a little too pricey for what you get. Lunch and dinner portions are identical but dinner is $1 more expensive (doesn’t really make sense...). Lunch also comes with a free green or black tea but it’s drowned with so much sugar that it tastes like sugar water. The wait for food is also pretty long when it’s busy. Overall not bad since the soup is pretty good.
Davis Wu
Tasted good, but after the add-ons and the side dishes it came out to almost $30 a person. I recommend going to Mongolian.
Claya Chu
Don’t really get it why this place is so popular. Food is decent but totally not worth the wait. Seat space is really small and had a hard time finding place to put my bag
Carson Zhou
Great food! Only wish they also have a all you can eat option or at least let you build your own pot. Still, solid food with great service!
ZarChi Win
I had Taiwanese flaming soup with Hokkaido bubble mild tea and both were amazing. Staffs are friendly too.
Carlos Estrada
Boiling Point never dissapoints. Always great hot pot! This particular location is very popular so expect some wait time but your patience will pay off! Covid has definitely impacted wait time so be prapared and understanding. Paid street parking available and if you park in the paid parking lot make sure to get your ticket validated!
rwnp
Very good food (Hot! or mild) good price.
Wait might take a while on weekends.
unexpected possibly confusing checkout by QR code -> website

Forgot to take any pictures but the little pots are pretty good! The spicy pot is way too spicy than I can afford! The chef special and seafood are the best in my opinion. Kids may like the curry pot which is sweet. Appetizers are ok, not as good as the pots!
Lyly Louanghaksaphone
Even though there was a waitlist by 6:30 pm, the staff kept everything moving and I ended up not waiting too long for a table. Beef hotpot was okay, it was better dipped in one of the sauces they had on the table. Passion fruit black tea has a nice tangyness to it. Unfortunately they don't take AMEX, so I couldn't use my corporate card for my meal.
Gill Chang
Star rating is based on food only.
They offer different flavor broth and each broth has its set of ingredients. It's hard to tell if the ingredients are fresh or not, because they cooked everything in heavily seasoned broth before serving. I went and tried 4 different flavors and only like one of them. Since everything is cooked in the broth, so if you don't like the broth you chose, it's probably hard to enjoy what's cooking in it.
Bottom line, if you like a pot of food cooked in flavor broth, this might be a good choice for you.
Pro: unique dining experience, good non-alcoholic drinks, price is fair
Con: If you don't like pre-cook hot pot, their menu is limited.
David Zoraiz Benjamin
The Boilling point is definitely different than any other restaurant that I've been to. Having never experienced "hot pot" cuisine, this was definitely a new experience. I'd recommend going with someone it people who know what they are doing. But to summarize it ignorantly, it's basically a huge bowl of soup with lots of stuff, from vegetables, noodles, to meat. So expect a variety of taste and textures with this meal. Service was fine, as it was "foreign" but people were nice. There is A WHOLE lot if space, but probably enough for like 80-100? Anyways. It was good. But if def want to go with someone who knew what to order and what everything was.
annie zhiye wang
Tried the house special this time and really loved it! Portion was pretty big.
Bruce Sugiyama
Pretty good food. Only little bit noisy and too many people. You expect to wait quite long time to seat.
Mesille Mershon
First visit here. Hot and delicious food cooked per your spicy preference. I had the seafood and tofu bowl medium spicy and it was spot on. Would eat here again!
Danny Tram
I came in for dinner with a friend. We came out with great satisfaction and happiness with the service and food. The staffs were attentive and friendly; the vibe was warm and comfortable. I will be coming back the next time.
陳奕婷
Really nice hot pot restaurant. It's not really expensive and it's delicious.
Keith Van
Solid hot pot experience! I actually liked this location in Seattle over their one in Vancouver on Main Street. The matcha jelly they use in their drinks is also amazing.
Sanjay Arichandran
Food tasted good. Decent options. No chicken in the menu. Kiwi fruit after food drink was interesting. Average wait time during lunch hour. Quick service.
Sir Richard Honiker (Richard)
Fantastic food, well worth a visit if you are in Seattle.
Summer Li
The service was good. The spicy pot was insanely spicy and not enjoyable at all. I understand you want to make it “authentic” but I could barely taste the flavor other than spicy.
Liz Wright
I got the beef soup. BP is my fave soup spot in Seattle besides King Noodle!
KX Berry
Yummy soups and delicious teas! Be prepared to wait a while though..it's a very popular spot. Several different LOADED noodle soups to choose from, served on a personal burner to keep your dish hot while you eat!
Coco Li
Line is always long here. But they really have nice pot!!! I love it! Strongly recommend to spicy lover. When you have a pot at lunch. It also comes with free drink. Overall. This place has Great price and good food!
Kian Yong Lim
Very delicious hot pot! Their specialty broth and tom yam were thick for my liking and the ingredients are fresh!
Jasmine Sky
My favorite place every time I am going to Seattle.
Loving Kloud
I accidentally dropped my chopsticks on the floor. Before I finished picking it up, the waitress already gave me a new clean one. Thanks! (7/11/2022 around 12 pm the waitress in black mask and yellow 马尾辫)
Javan Wang
Been here thrice now, my favorite hotpot joint in the city. This location never disappoints.
Very inexpensive compared to other hot pot locations.
Spencer Riddering
Personal hotpot. Enjoyed the Milk Cream Curry hotpot. Fast, good service. Really liked the drink served with the check.
Irvi Aini
I like the soup, it’s spicy and delicious with a good amount of toppings as well.
Shayne Leong
Hot pot restaurant with several options to choose. The Korean bean paste pot was delicious. Also serves bubble tea.
Eric S
Great price for the amount of food. The waiters are all attentive and they have a great wait system where you enter your party size and a ticket prints off with your place in line.
Yingkai Wang
Popular small hotpot place in downtown Seattle. This place has pretty good soup base and variety of combonation. The one I like most is the Taiwanese Spicy Pot.
Turmunkh Nergui
We tried number 3 & 4 which were Korean Stew + Beef Stew. It was really good. Mild was too spicy for me but it tasted really good. And their Hokkaido Boba Milk tea tasted good as well. You should try it out.
David Hsu
Just average. Affordable hot pot, but service is spotty and music is turned up too loud. Food is pretty good but I don't like the ambiance.
Chih Ping Lee
Really authentic Taiwanese hot pot. Of course, you can find a chunk of taro inside.
Arindam Chakraborty
We just ordered hot spring egg rice. It was delicious.
Aster Nguyen
So I tasty and spicy hot pot 😍 will come back ❤️❤️
TGB
Price is reasonable and delicious!
Staff is friendly and helpful!
Good experience
Landon Phan
The wait was super long, it’s a very popular place Located in China town next to Seattle. They gave us free broth refills and being anole to pick the levels for spiciness you want is a big plus!!!
SP
Nice place with good taste especially it’s great for family time.
Bruce Thao
Kool spot. Place stays busy. Hot pot is delicious.
Thien-Thanh Le
Love the old time milk tea and pudding. Food is delicious and comes out pretty quick. Only issue is the wait time, but definitely worth it.
Delano Berry
Really neat experience! There's something fantastic about getting hot food pots right in front of you. It tastes delicious and the service was smooth and easy. Be prepared to use chopsticks if you don't know how. I'm sure they have forks but I didn't see a single one the entire time we were there. We also didn't see a kids menu so I wouldn't recommend bringing them also since the food can be spicy really fast.
mcabanero2
Very delicious! We got the seafood and and tofu and the house special.
Minus 1 star for okay service. Granted it was on a chilly Friday night. Will definitely come back again
Alex Nguyen
One of my favorite restaurants. Definitely recommend this to anyone. I found to love the curry dish because of the types of meats/fish balls/seafood compared to the others. This place gets crowded especially since it’s a small restaurant with limited parking. Lunch is cheaper by a dollar and includes a drink.
Cecil
Service was fast and the food was delicious. If you can't handle spice, make sure to get no spicy instead of mild..mild is a bit spicy but it's still really good
Fredy Lee (SaiyanFitness)
The hotpot is good and spicy. But nothing amazing just decent flavors.
Harley Groller
Amazing food, quick service, only wish is that they would bring back the Thai Fusion. Would recommend highly for just about everyone thanks to the variety of dishes and soups available.
Jason P
Very fast service. They serve unconventional hot pot in the sense that all of the meat and veggies are already in the boiling pot of soup. As a result, it's a bit crowded at first until you work your way through some of it. The service is fast and to the point. The food is great, and and I especially appreciate that you can control the level of spiciness (I chose the least spicy but still felt some of the heat).
Jonathan Flores
I got asked to see my Vaccination Card for the first time since March. As I sit there I watch other customers enter the establishment without being checked for their vaccination card. Policy might have to be adjusted or maybe the greeter just had an issue with us. Still love boiling point.
Jason Zhao
Really solid hot pot, but I think the Holy Cow appetizer stole the spotlight. It was a perfectly executed traditional Chinese appetizer. Rich and delicate beef with super fresh and bright herbs, simply delicious.
Muheng Seow
Always very crowded especially on Saturday nights but they have a nice queue system. Wish people would stop crowding near the entrance. I really like the milk cream curry and Taiwanese spicy. Their 5 star spice level is really spicy but doable for someone with spice tolerance. Personally I could feel the spice in my stomach hours after so I only stick to mild or medium now.
I always have leftovers which I bring home and add my own veggies to for a second dinner.
Love that they validate parking at Uwajimaya and the little dessert drink. Quality and taste has stayed the same over multiple visits.
Les Lautengco
Im not the most familiar with Hot Pot specifically, but I am familiar with good food. And this place has it! I tried the new menu option. I added sliced lamb on the side and an egg-topped bowl of rice. Ingredients were very tasty. The added great flavor to a mainly seafood dish.
Adam
Wonderful hot pot. Don't order the hot pot unless you're hungry, one bowl could feed two people. Just look around the restaurant for other patrons that already have theirs to get an idea of the size. I personally got the beef hot pot with mild spice and only finished it because I was ravenous. If you only want a little spice, don't even get the mild spice, as it is very spicy if you're not used to it. I personally love heat and the mild was as much as I could take. They offer chili pepper oil on the side that you can use if you want only half the heat.
Shane Danisher
This place is great. The food is always fantastic. The price is a little on the high side but I say "treat yoself". I tend to get the beef or lamb hot pot.
The complimentary tea it comes with is great and always appreciated to take the edge off of the spicy food (my choice, they have a scale of 1-5).
The service and atmosphere are good. The server's can get a little busy but that's because it's always busy here!
If you do go, just make sure to pay attention to how you get seated! They have instructions on the wall and they stick to them.
Ailina Calip (Ailina C.)
Love this spot especially when you need something nice and warm on a cold day. We went on Sunday for lunch and surprisingly wasn't too busy. I love that you get free tea with your combo orders and they have an amazing selection of hotpot. They always have such great service and very quick to get our food. The only thing that I didn't like was that we couldn't split our check based on what we ordered, it had to be straight down the middle. Other then that, it was a great experience! I would be happy to go again.
Diana Lee
I love hot soup, even in the summer months! This hits the spot when I'm in need of soup.
Kayla W
I love their hotpot choices, Great flavors to choose from. The staff were pleasant & attentive during my visit. I actually have been back two more times being that I had to be in the area once a week for 3 weeks, I chose to dine because of the great customer service specifically
秋風AutumnWind
A lot of people recommended this restaurant, so I went. Good pricing. But the food is not good as people. Don’t give me wrong, the food tastes is not bad.
Jonathan Li On Wing
Great Taiwanese hot pot, but the service isn't great.
I have ordered lamb and the curry soups before and have been happy.
Note that when specifying spice level, I'd go one level lower that your usual.
Also note that if you arrive on a weekday at noon, expect a long (30-40 minutes) wait.
Geoff Winslow
It's pretty good but I honestly have a hard time eating the soup because it's so hot. Also, to my white guy palate, the house special soup tastes like what a barn smells like. Like ... I feel I have now eaten manure. The beef soup was nice though.
Don L
The hot pot was OK. I had the Japanese Ramen broth and didn't find it to have much flavor. I ordered 4 stars of spice (out of 5) and didn't think it was spicy at all. The beef was good quality. The portions are quite good. The hot ginger tea was excellent! Not sure if I would go back, except for the ginger tea.
Pilar Del Riego
Great place! Unlike other hotpot restaurants, boiling point has pre-selected soups which I like because I don't have to worry about choosing things. However, the last time that I was there I wanted to get rid of an ingredient and they say I couldn't do that. So check the menu before hand so you can decide if the soups offered will be good for you.
Eddie Tsy
We had the best experience here! First of all service and employees were amazing! I dropped my spoon and in a few seconds I had a second one brought to me by a server who saw. The service was incredibly fast and welcoming. Let's talk about the food for a sec. It was one of the best dishes I've had in a while! Totally worth the wait! This place deserves a 5 star review and I would recommend to anyone!
PhilE Sloniker
I tried the House Special today. I can and do eat some weird stuff but the fermented tofu was not for me. I always like this place. Clean and very friendly. I will stick with the Spicy Taiwanese, my normal.

The food was good. Here’s my only complaint. I ordered veggie and when they brought it the smell was great. However, as soon as they lit the fire under the dish the smell of burning fuel overpowered the delicate aroma of mushrooms and I could not smell the food anymore.
Sean Aryana
I have been here twice now both times very busy. You get a ticket at the front and the call our numbers inside and outside.
I cannot guarantee everyone will like this. Some of the dishes have items that you may not be used to (like fermented tofu - which I would not recommend). The service is fast and the waiter was very helpful answering our questions!
Juan Padron
I have tried almost every soup, all are delicious. The only not so good thing is the waiting time, it can be about 40 minutes. Other than that, they have good service and FREE drinks!! With the purchase i.c your soup if course.
Jef Song
Even though they're always busy, service here is great. The food is tasty every time. Careful with the spicy ones though. My Vietnamese wife LOVES spicy, but can't handle the Taiwanese one.
Kim Erickson
Fantastic Taiwanese individual serving hot pot. I love that everyone in the group can get their own thing instead of having to share all the time (don't get me wrong I love family style hot pot too!). Especially love that spicy legitimately means spicy!
Only downside is that the place can get pretty busy so you can expect to wait. Of course this isn't their fault for being so popular!
Thabata Regiani
Very unique experience! Loved the environment and the food. The menu is pretty streamlined and service is really fast. The staff is also friendly. Don't come if you are not food adventurous: there are a lot of ingredients in the menu that are quite unique.
My only issue with the place is that I wish there was at least one more vegetarian option on the menu.
Alex Tran (Schimiggy)
This restaurant is good but I feel it's a bit overrated. The food options are unique and there are multiple options to cater to everyone's taste buds. However I feel there are many other restaurants with the same style offered in the same area for much less. I love that they do offer free tea with your entree. Expect to wait when you come here. The service is good but not as friendly as I would prefer. This place is good every once in while but definitely not my go-to with all the options available in the area.
K Aerie
Great place for hot pot! It's personal style hot pot so it's hygienic & yummy! Lots of combos to choose from, also plenty of choices to add on. If you have a big appetite prolly add more stuff in your pot! ;) We'll definitely come back for more & bring friends over.
H.R.
What's not to love about Boiling Point!? The food is exceptional here. It's on the spicy side (for me at least) and I always get a green tea to go with it. They're great about leaving things out you don't like and making sure you get your extras for things you want to add (there is an additional charge). Great service, always asks if you want more broth or if you want the fire put out.
Word of advise, if you are going on a weekend get there as soon as they open, if you're there an hour after they open you're going to have to wait a little while. If you arrive a few hours after they open you're going to wait a long time. It's totally worth the wait though! The only downside to the wait is that they don't have a very big area to wait in so you're going to be smashed against other people or outside, which in PNW means you might get wet.
JJ M
Quantity and food flavor are both decent. Wait was a little long, and I would prefer more portion of secrets in food and less variety which seems like they are trying to please it all. But overall, a great little spot for lunch or dinner on a rainy Seattle day
Tristanne Endrina
OMG! My favorite Taiwanese hot pot place! I always get the Curry Fish Ball bowl with extra vermicelli, beef, meatballs and bean curd. Yes, that's A LOT of food, but there's always leftovers!
The soup is always hot. They refill your soup and fire whenever you need to. I always come here with an appetite (aka "when I'm starving"). It's a little pricy, so I always make sure I've saved up for this meal. But, it's totally worth it, b/c I always have leftovers.
The line can get quite long if you come right around dinner (5-7 pm) or lunch time (12-2 pm). I always try to come around 3 or 4 pm. That's when the wait is no longer than 5 minutes. Be sure your whole party is present as they won't seat you if not.
COME HUNGRY!!! :D
Steven Farnell
This is a nice twist on Hot Pot that works great! They place a burner and a personal sized hot pot in front of you, and cook the ingredients right on the table. Sometimes it might take you one or two visits to figure out how to cook it just right, but it's a great restaurant!
Anthony Surya
Get here early for your meal time as the wait can be excruciatingly long depending on the number of people that are with you. Fortunately the queue system is efficient as they will send you a text if you are now front of the line, but make sure you already have the whole party with you as they explicitly said it!
Service-wise, I understand that as the place is as busy as it gets, they'll often get to you only if asked and if your food is served, though there are exceptions. My eating buddy dropped his chopstick and without asking, a passing waiter handed a new pair from his pouch.
The hot pot is a food adventure with a variety of flavors dancing across your tongue as you sip the savory broth and devour the chunks of food. I'd say it can qualify as a gourmet experience. IMHO overpriced for a typical lunch day even with the free drinks, especially for dinner, so I'd come back but not so often.
Aaron Smith
My sister recommended this and I wasn't disappointed in it.
There was a good selection of broths and pre-set ingredient foundations to choose from.
I believe I got the mild beef ($15?) with egg and udon as additions, and it was all very good and incredibly filling.
The only gripe I have is that the servers ignore you after they bring the food but the place is incredibly busy so I don't fault them much for it.
Gabriela Chuchro
There's usually a wait but the food comes out quickly, and it's really good
Lauren L
No change before or after covid in terms of food quality(good!) and wait time(1hr). Got here at 8pm waited a little over an hr. to be seated, many behind us were turned away due to full checkins for the day.
W S
This place serves authentic Chinese hotpots, so the mushrooms and tofu may not be for everyone. Good food, but wish there was more meat in my hotpot instead of cabbage. $15+ average meal price.
Matt Becker
Overall not bad, cool concept. Service was a little slow. Broth was good but not authentic (at least the Korean style). Pork in garlic app and lamb was good. I'd go back.
Johanna Klein
So good and the service is great! Really love the variety of options and also the sauce bar. You'll likely need to get there early or make reservations if you have a party of 6 or more.
Chris Gees
The Boiling Point is very good. And the prices are moderate. I suggest coming early or late cause the wait can get long. But it's worth it. Beef dish was good even for a non seafood lover.
alex reynolds
Wow. Always a fan of Pho and from out of town. With a local who took me here for a business lunch. Fun presentation. Excellent portion. Quality selection. Fresh. Really impressed. Pho in a totally new format. I guess I shouldn’t call it that. Hot pot. Whatever. Get here. Careful because the spice ratings are really accurate. I love hot n spicy and medium was just about right with a dash of the great bean paste and garlic sauce they have on the table. You will not be disappointed. Have them extinguish the flame halfway thru. If you don’t want anything “weird”’get the beef in the middle of the menu. With rice. Add udon. Yum!!
Lisa Lin
Been to this location a few times and the service is always meh. The waiters expect you to know everything and exchange the least amount of words as possible.
Food is delicious. You get free green/black t if you go during lunch. They also offer bubble tea. When you order your hot pot, you have the option to do rice or vermicelli noodles. You also need to ask the waiter to burn out the fire or your food will over cook and soup will overflow.
Parking is expensive so you can just go next door to uwjimaya and spend $10 for an hour validation or $20 for 2 hours.
jason pham
Like most Asian, I have a love of hot pots, but I also like to eat alone which is hard for doing hot pots as it generally needs at least two people, so I like that boiling point satisfy both of these with there mini hotpot pot at a good price.
Boiling points hot pot comes with a variety of pre-made options, listed on the menu, and comes with a bowl of rice and a drink if you go at lunch, my personal favorite is the Korean kimchi one with pork belly. Given that the option are pre-made, you can't customize to replace what's in it, but you can do add on to it, though the price for adding things seems high for what they are. Also the is some side dish that are pretty good. I some time come in just to order a bubble tea to go as it's one of the better options in the area.
This location generally has a line waiting if you come during normal lunch or dinner hours. The service can be hit or miss with the staff not that attentive.
Heather Hamilton
This is a fantastic place for hot Asian soup!
There are great deals, food, and drinks. The service is quick! This is a super popular restaurant so expect some crowds.
Michael Braccio
A very cool experience with excellent food. The lines were quite long which is expected for a popular restaurant. Careful when ordering how spicy you want your food as it tends to be more spicy than you would think.
Conley Leung
Hot pot!!
Amazing broth
Onaroon Pureemahawong
Miso soup is my favorite. We always order beef for extra. Yum Yum
Eddie Hong
Tasty hot pot with an array of Asian cuisine styles for whatever you're craving on a hangover or a rainy day. Staff is attentive and the food comes out fast. There's always a wait so be prepared to catch some pokemon.
Stephen Kim
Expect a long wait but it's worth it. A little disappointed they took the kimchi hotpot off the menu but still one of the best places in Seattle for hot pot. Their hokkaido milk tea is also really good.
Sichen Dong
This is a good place for a quick lunch. The food is good and warm. Definitely recommended if you want something fast, good, and cheap at the same time. Nothing beats a boiling hot pot in a cold rainy winter day.
Brian Yong
We were regulars at the Bellevue location before it blew up, and the menu has changed quite a bit. They have pared down the a la carte section but added a delicious korean miso soup option, as well as a delightful pork belly and a kimchi tofu option. I also think they must have hired a new process manager at HQ because the service is miles ahead of what it used to be. I will note that the wait can often times be a turn off, ranging from 15-45 minutes. Usually it's worth it ;)
Siqin Liu
I like it so much and go there often. Great food combo in a low price. Simply 15 dollars each person and could have a good single hotpot, quickly.
Joe Previte
Delicious hot pot! Spicy so be careful. I usually get mild but here that was a bit hot. Busy on Sunday nights so get here earlier than 6 or be prepared to wait. Worth it though
john tseng
Consistent is key. You always know what you'll get in terms of flavor, presentation, and the service overall is great. My go to is thai spicy for variety and spicy as hell!
Christina W
I came here with a friend for lunch and it was very busy, but not unexpected. I had the organic veggie (only option for vegetarians there) which, not going to lie, was very bland. I had to add in a ton of soy sauce. Add onto that I'm really picky so I picked out the mushrooms, tomatoes, carrots and the meal had the potential to be very sad.
However you can get add ons, so an add on of corn, instant noodles, and kimchi tofu quickly saved the dish!
Zung Do
Delicious like always and perfect for this time of year.
Hong Torrez
Love love love! Absolutely delicious! But be prepared to wait awhile! Totally worth the wait though! I loved the thai fusion but can't wait to go back and try other dishes!
David Nardo
We got the beef and house special and they were amazing. Also, outstanding service and really great feel in the place. Deff all these emojis 😍🤤🤌👌👍
James Fritzinger
In one word, fabulous. Decor, staff and of course the food, the most delicious food you can eat. First time there. I will be going back.
Ian H
Food is good and price is reasonable. But I think their way of calculating sale tax is wrong. For example, today my food subtotal is $28.90, but tax becomes $2.92. How can you calculate that with 10% tax rate: it should be $2.89. But with this extra 3 cents, think about it, with 1000 customers, it would be $30. Where will it be? Obviously, to someone's (not tax authority) pocket in the name of tax. They better fix this quickly.
Betty Van Do
I always crave for hotpot at Boiling Point 😭 the best …
Srivatsan Venkatesan
Excellent food. Their spicy honk Kong dish is amazing. Better to make a reservation if you plan to come during peak hours.
Matthew “TW” Huang
Service is extremely fast (I can see how it may come off a bit rude, culture differences). Food is quality and flavorful. Individual hot pot or you can share and add various items to the main hot pot entree.
Nick Wilson
Not sure I can say enough good things about Boiling Point. I wish there were more of them closer to me. I'm in Seattle once a month and nearly Everytime I come I make it a point to visit BP. Food is fantastic! Wish the service was a little better. On a cold, wet, grey day is Seattle the food here will breathe new life into you.
Chris Palmer
Was okay tbh. Kind of overly hyped. The beef stew tasted like something my white grandmother would cook; bland and devoid of substance. Good amount of veggies and beef inside the pot though. Their garlic beef was really good though and I stole all of it from my girlfriend.
Dale Weaver
I recommend Boiling Point to everyone that likes to enjoy asian cuisine! I had a fantastic birthay lunch with my son at Boiling Point. The chef and wait staff where wonderful and very courteous.
Sam
I liked it the food we amazing but let's me be honest...... One of the waiters...,.......... WHERE SO DAMN FXXXING PRETTY
Paul Lee
Spicy Taiwanese one kicks your butt but it’s great for the winter with a good little sweat and sinus clearing spices. I’m gonna get it again if it weren’t for the beef dish competitions with its equal greatness in flavor and content.
Toaster Spoon
sometimes the wait area can get really full, but the line goes by quick. The soup is well worth the wait and everything about this place from the side options to the broth types is 5 stars AMAZING!
Arno Yang
Very slow and longer wait time.
Customers are staying 20-30 mins after they pay and made the waiting process even longer.
Not enough staff and always had to call out for assistance.
Also got my order wrong (spicy level didn't seem right)
Siu Tam
I been here a couple of times and food is good. I recommend coming here when the weather is very cold outside. Also, some of the pots can be very spicy even if you order medium.
Liem Vuong
Parking validated for 2 hrs.
Dr. G
Unfortunately, this offers more hype than anything else. Terribly expensive, my soup was left on too high for too long. There are many other options in the international district to eat at that have much better food.
Pamela Bennett-Wall
Boiling pot dishes were good, just expensive.
Jeff Dunlap
Never been to one before and so glad we tried it so delicious and the service was good also
Sofía Chen
The food is ok, but the service is horrible. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m Chinese.
Linyao Li
Great food, a must-try spot in Seattle. I bring my friends here all the time, and they all loved it. However, be ready to wait in line because they are super popular.
Megan Kessler
Not so into the thai pot, but the beef, miso, seafood were tasty. Beware of the fermented tofu smell. Why does the spoons smell so much of sanitizing soap tho?
John Taing
This place never fails to deliver great food. Beware long wait times during peak lunch and dinner time. Try the spinach noodles and the deep fried tofu skin!
Chester Cun
Food is excellent. Beef #4 and seafood #2 are my favorites! Spring egg on rice goes well with them too!
Joseph Silberstein
The least spicy hot pot was spicy as hell! The furniture seemed worn out and overall cleanliness was questionable.
geoff
menu-wise, not my thing; lots of seafood items in the soups, even in the beef. however, it's well-kept and the service is great. pricey.
Karen Young
You get what you see. Simple hot pot pre loaded with tasty pieces. Service is not great and the waiting for a table can be lengthy at peak times.
Judy Bess
The best hotpot place in the States.
Adrian Aliwarga
Very nice atmosphere and delicious food
Christina Nhan
Always delicious! Love a good hot soup 💗 Plenty of waiters and waitresses at the International District and Downtown Bellevue locations who are helpful and friendly. …
Alex Lee
The Boiling Point hotpot is my favort
Janine M
My first time visiting, and I was pleasantly surprised. Cool atmosphere, friendly service and a good amount of food for the price. They also validate your parking, which is cool.
Cindy Fu (YUKIN3K0)
Tasty food but the lines can be long. Dinner hour is more expensive and there is no free iced tea. Lunch is cheaper and comes with free iced tea.
Jocelyn Wang
Love this place, more spacious than the other locations I've been to. Usually ask for soup refill towards the end and then take the leftovers home to eat with instant noodles.
Fansntt
Good prices and the food was very good. The service is mixed. Some waiters are super friendly and efficient while others are meh. The place is always packed.
Andy Zhou
If ur hungry, this place will be sure to fill you up... If you can stand there in a 30 min wait. But once you get in, the food if decent and served in a unique style.
Vanessa Alvarez
The food here is absolutely delicious and I'm so happy I ate here during my vacation in Seattle! The food is awesome and the milk tea is absolutely unmatched.
Joshua Minoda
It's good but just doesn't do it for me. I would only suggest going here if you specifically have the urge to eat hotpot. If you don't then other places would be a better choice in my opinion.
Bob
The spicy beef pot is the best one if you can handle the spice. (VERY SPICY)
Kurt Matsunaga
This place is great, get here early though, there always tends to be a line. Would recommend this place, especially getting a side of hot spring eggs and rice with your meal.
Roberto Ortiz
Great place for Hot Pot! Be ready for a long queue though, you'll have to leave your number and then walk around elsewhere, but the wait is WELL worth it.
Alex C
Good quality and friendly service for a decent price. Be warned, though, that the Taiwanese spicy hot soup lives up to its name.
Venus Volante
Seafood and curry are my faves. Kinda a long line but it's worth it. Their dessert in a cup is bomb.
expanding curiosity
First experience. Got the spiciest.. was so good yet so painful haha. Would get again!
Zachary Morgan
Took a while to take our order, but otherwise the place was awesome. Solid place to scald my mouth, would recommend.
Larissa Tiara (ImSmelLikins)
Food is delicious! Service isn't the best, a lot of the servers look like they dont want to be there. But at least the food is worth it.
Zhuojun wu
Very nice
Liyiming Ke
I love boiling point, my fav is the lamb hot pot. It is a bit pricey but where else can I get it? One hotpot is actually good for two ... :)
In Hwan
Soup is great
Soup is life
Soup raise my haooy level
Soup is love
Boiling point gets my love :)
However it gets a four because I was the only person in line and no-one came up to seat me :( and there were like 8tables open T.T
Carlos Romano (Walter Clements)
This place is very good love all the different options and the milk tea is pretty good as well big fan of the honey pearls
Christopher Bergman
I visited this place with my brother, I couldn't ask for anything more. It was a good price, good environment, good service, and good food. I couldn't ask for anything more for a downtown restaurant period was not too pricey either.
T K
Food is good! I'm obsess with their black fresh tea.
Tiffany Tong
The food is always delicious!
Amanda Winslow
Very popular, a hang out for college students so expect a long wait. We were visiting Seattle and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
Bryan Lee
Great food and service, but be prepared for a bit of a wait! The large sized dishes are great to share, I would recommend the Japanese miso.
Paul Nguyen
I'd go here more often if the wait wasn't so long during lunch. Avoid coming between 11:30 - 1:30 if you have a shorter lunch break.
Curry fishbowl is my go to. Add ramen if you are a bit hungrier than usual.
Dennis
Love the food. They were really busy, so dont expect fast service. The parking was free (best part)
Jamie Prins
I can't believe I didn't know about this place until now.
So Youn
Delicious hot pots to choose from and available to add extras. But it's so much food, look forward to a food coma at the end of your meal!
Kevin Caravaggio
This is a perfect, trendy choice in the International District. Try the spicy Taiwanese soup for a real kick. Staff is always quick and helpful.
Latsamy Yin
Love this place. Get there early bc lunch and dinner is a mad house!! Delicious selections and quick & friendly service.
Jennifer Y
Love the food. You can validate parking which is pretty thoughtful for the location. Avoid peak for less wait time
Thuy Tran
Cheap and good quick hotpot
Tlek Aitbai

Ziv Tsau
I come here whenever I'm craving for Taiwanese comfort food! So good. Unfortionally, it's always a long wait.
Daniel Tanapukdee
Place is always packed during lunch and dinner. Opened late to 11pm. Tasty soup served in an individual sized pot
Neda Javadpour
The concept is very interesting but the food quality is mediocre fast food.
Atharva Agashe
I got the strawberry lemonade and milk and creamy soup it was super delicious staff were super friendly too
Amy Nie
loved the food and fruit soda!
Tim Chernak
A unique and delicious food experience located in historic China Town... Highly recommend. Expect a wait time for a table though.
Angela Chin
The food is always good and the service is generally very good. Don't come here during peak hours if you don't want to wait more than an hour.
Yu Dang
Probably the best small hotpot I’ve ever had in the USA. I’ll always miss it! I love Seattle!
Thuong Nguyen
Good food that goes perfect with colder days. Just the right amount and the broth flavor is great.
Briana Leon
Delicious. Nice and juicy, the flavour stands out and the sauces are yummy. The waiting time was long but worth it though.
Conor Poull
Well spaced tables and friendly staff, great food with a not-playing level of spice.
Elysia Stonem
Delicious. Good flavor. Very spicy. Quickly seated and served.
Sherwin Spencer Kuan
Great for the cold weather. Taste was good enough, not the best hot pot. Long waiting time
Abhishek Ravikiran
Decent food and fairly overpriced. But if it's for an occasion, great place to visit because the ambiance and decor are on point.
Tri To
Delicious Taiwanese Spicy hot soup
S E
It's good entry level hot pot at a fair price. Service is fast and consistent.
Jazmin Skinner
Neat presentation, vegetarian friendly soup not sure if I can call it vegan because of broth.
CC Sevex
Food is great, atmosphere is fun, parking is validated and easy, and the service is quick and efficient. One of my favorite places on a rainy day
Rubavahini Venkatraman
I had lamb pot. It was nice. I choose medium spicy, it was not spicy enough for me.
Miubi
Best hotpot in Seattle
Dragoon
fair price and tasty food. great for hot pot lovers
Chang Morris
Taiwanese hot pot
Robin Chow
So good, but coming here during lunch/dinner prime time is horrible if you're hungry and you have nothing else to do. Bring friends. Or a book. Or both.
Arthur Pang
Efficient and capable workers, very impressed with both food and service.
Lucy Her
I will go back for lunch again. Lunch comes with free tea and lemonade with basil seeds. Worth every penny!
Adan Hinojosa
Loved the way the menu looked but the flavors were not up to par. Food that looked like it should not be bland was actually bland.
KusionLion
It’s like 三媽臭臭鍋. Taiwanese people will feel homesick here.
Rex Korrell
Great place for hot pot with lots of good selections and add-ons 👍 …
My Trinh
The concept of personal hot pot is interesting and the food is great. Good variety in each hot pot.
NAIWEI H
Love it😋 …

Expect some wait time. While the one-man hotpot is good, we enjoy the pudding a lot!
A P
went here a few times. i still like the bellevue location better for some reason. more consistent, i think. sometimes its good and sometimes its off.
Douglas McCadden
Great hot pot venue. Some of the most authentic Chinese I have had in seattle, and at decent prices.
Daniel Hammett
You wait and then you're like "worth it!" And its true. Lunch is the best way to go for me but it has never let me down either way
Lisa Yu
Nice place, unique taste, delicious food, I recommend black and green tea, but waiting time is long on weekend.
Cong Thien Nguyen
Good but wait too long time
Gustavo Frias
Omg so good!! Try number 4! The service was not great, but I want to rate the food quality. And that-- was bomb!
Evan Oeflein
Best hot pot place in Seattle! Good options. Usually a long wait so come early.
Penny Guo
Tea is too sweet, and you cannot adjust the sweetness or the amount of sugar added.
Jeff Schade
So good, the hot pots are delish. It's a 3 min walk from whatever via light rail or bus.
Kennedie Wagner
I love this place however with how much money they accumulate because of how busy they are you'd think that they could afford real cups instead of small paper ones and refill them.
Daniel Sochor
I had hot pot for the first time here, and it was delicious. The place was packed for lunch, and it's no wonder why.
Sean Stover
First time experience and I was very satisfied with both taste and hunger. Fast and friendly service as well.

Alejandro M
Low quality food, definitely won’t visit again.
Phala Phin
So very good. I love it.

The regular sized option is a perfect sized meal for most

Great food overall but menu is old and dirty, which is a drawback for a restaurant.

Great hotpot. You'll need to wait for a bit on the busier days but it really hits the spot.
Jake N
Great place to sit and eat with friends. I can't get enough of their bean paste sauce !

The food is really good! However, the wait is rather long.
