The best burger place in the town. I find the staff to be very friendly. It's very unfortunate that they had closed their presence from SLU and Fremont. I visit alki beach when I miss their burger. They have outdoor seating in the Alki beach branch of Blue moon burgers and a great place to enjoy the sunset !! Too can't go wrong with any burger.

Best fries and onion rings! Was not overly impressed with the burger, I did the blue shroom burger with out bacon and with the impossible burger. Maybe it needed the bacon to bring it all together but I didn’t get any of the flavoring with the mushrooms or blue cheese. Would 100% go back for the onion rings and fries though

Had the vegan spicy burger with impossible patty, instead of the black bean patty. Added pickles and fries. Oh my goodness this beast was on chiabata bread with loads of dressings. So delicious and would most definitely have another there again sometime. Great seating and very friendly service. Gives ya that old fashioned burger joint feel. So cool. Enjoy 👍🏻

This place is a unicorn! Pet friendly, no mean people allowed, and Gluten Free options (buns and beer). Not only that, they have separate fryers for gluten and gf and the grill top keeps buns separately as well.

Stumbled upon Blue Moon Burgers while biking Alki Beach in West Seattle. Really fun place with plenty of outdoor seating. Or, take your food and go eat at the beach which is just right across the street. The joint is super clean and the staff is friendly and following covid guidelines. They have plenty of options to choose from and the burgers are pretty good. I got the Hangover burger and the only thing I wish was different was that it was bigger cause it was pretty darn good. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

Great burger joint. Question though - why no bikes in patio? I'm an avid cyclist and this is one of my favorite pit stops but having to leave my bike outside the patio while I eat just wracks me with anxiety.

So delicious!!! Best part is the dedicated gluten free deep fryer!!! Yes! French fries and onion rings(**see below) for all the folks like me with celiac and gluten intolerance! I had a bun less burger(they have gf buns but I don’t like buns) and French fries with onion rings. I also tested them with my Nima tester and they were all safe to eat. Don’t ever change Blue Moon and you will have a customer for life. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Update I’m sorry to have to say they no longer have gluten-free onion rings only French fries which are never crispy enough 😭

This place is perfect for a meal at Alki beach on a sunny day ☀️ one of the best spots in Seattle in summer. The decor is great as they have modified an old gas station. The food is good and service too. Prices are reasonable I will be back very soon.

Really enyoyed the island. :) Visit was excellent. Thanks to all workers and nice peeps enjoying their day. FYI, Seattle's extreme crime problem nearly got all of us in a head on car crash. A bad actor took out a bicyclist on purpose & sped away in heavy traffic.

I'd go to 4.25 maybe 4.5 but it was pretty expensive. Okay so the order was 3 burgers (one veggie mushroom), two orders of fries and three vanilla shakes. Total... 70 dollars. The fries are the larger potato style fries, not my favorites, but if you like those i'm sure they are done right. The two burgers were the burger love. Two patties with cheese. The are juicy but not super sloppy. Very good. The shakes here were good, small drink straws so better to let it melt a few minutes or it's a workout. Overall the service was very pleasant. A guy with dark hair and maybe a ponytail took my phone order and knew when I was walking in it was me. They were a little slow that day. Anyway, great service, said thank you have a good night all that usual stuff. Expensive but great burgers and service!!

I would have to say it was a very solid burger! Built my own with pepper jack, bacon, mushrooms, onions, tomato, and blue moon sauce! After ordering it was ready in 5min!

Great atmosphere, Great food, Great selection on drinks. The burgers are flavorful, not greasy. If you want a couple recommendations, the two burgers I split with my wife was the Hawaiian (Perfect amount of Sauce) not many places can get it done right, Blue Moon knows what's up. If you love egg on your burger the Hangover burger also great choice. The egg was done perfect, the bacon had the right amount of tenderness and crispiness to it as well. We will for sure be back. Speaking of back, there is parking behind the building. How convenient, A+ all around.

Super convenient place on Alki with outdoor seating. You can also take your food to go and sit on the beach. One downside is it gets crowded/slow when busy. Has vegan options though, including fry sauces!

This place is pretty good. I think their best asset is their location. They have really good burgers,my main problem is with their customer service, though it hasn't been too bad recently. They have messed up my order on multiple occasions, and one time, though it was an accident, the person working the cashier almost didn't give me the fountain drinks I had paid for. These issues were all resolved though, and i think that the food here is pretty good. They serve pretty good veggie burgers, and i understand that the regular meat burgers are really good too, according to my brother and my dad. Their fries are really good, this is probably my favorite burger place to get fries from.

Blue Moon is my go-to for all things burger related. I have tried many of the menu options, but my two favorite are the Official Burger of Planet Earth and the Blue Hawaiian. I love that they have multiple vegetarian/vegan/dairy-free options to customize with too. Also, their fries are amazing (even left over)!

The hamburger I had was good, they are generous with the guacamole. My daughter had a grilled cheese that she really liked. The sweet potato fries though I wouldn't not get again. The outside tables were really dirty, it was noon, so just be careful when you sit down. The first table we went to sit down at was coated in ketchup.

This has been one of my go-to burger places in the Seattle area. They have a good selection of burgers to choose from, with my personal favorite being “the hangover”. Their shakes are also a pretty good addition to your meal. Prices are pretty decent and outdoor seating has a great view of the water. Whether you are just visiting West Seattle or looking for a good burger place, Blue Moon is a great option.

My boyfriend walked by this place as we were taking a walk and we decided we’d go in before getting some groceries. We walked in about 5 minutes after opening, feeling kind of bad walking in considering they were just opening but as we got greeted. The nice gentlemen was super nice and patient and made us feel super welcome. He gave us a suggestion on malt or shake, and even offered to let us sit outside if we’d like without us mentioning it. I thought that was super sweet. We didn’t wait long, and we got our milkshake first and it was so good, we got the peanut butter milkshake to share! We got our food and man it was worth it! Fries are super crisp and you got a nice view of the water!!! Not to mention, when we got done with our food and milkshake he asked how was everything and how was our milkshake and I just thought that was really considerate of the gentlemen waiting on us. Def worth coming sometime when you got time, oh! Wednesday’s it’s half of burgers when you purchase a side!!

Helpful to have good food and a caged in dining area to let a toddler run around a bit, 2 high chairs too. Chicken strips were good, fries were just there right crunchy. Sunset view was awesome. Great late dinner at 8:30pm. Dogs allowed and there's a public water bowl for them also.

Burgers are super tasty. I had the Blue Moon Burger and Garlic Parmesan Fries. Blue Moon Burger has peanut butter on it, which I was very curious about. SO. GOOD. Only thing I didn't like about this burger was how overwhelming the bacon was, it was all I could taste after a while. The Garlic Parmesan Fries are great, I think there was a whole head of garlic in those fries! The chocolate shake I had was such a wonderful treat to end the meal! We sat outside to check out the sunset and people watch (dog spotting, lets be real). The young lady at the front counter came out to turn on the outdoor heaters for us, which was very kind of her. The space is clean and has lots of room inside and out for big parties. Can't wait to come here again!

What a great place to get a burger. I think it was my fourth trip there today and I was glad to find they had three types of veggie burger. I had the black bean burger with curry fries and it was awesome. The server came out to get me when I was waiting and told me I could bring my dog inside if I wanted so I love that this place goes out of their way to be dog friendly. I have eaten on the patio before with my dog too and it's a great place to people watch. It was well worth the trip from Mukilteo for lunch.

You get what you pay for :) Seriously awesome location and a fantastic place to hang out when the weather is nice. The food is cheap, and the burgers, fries and shakes are all decent. Best to avoid the rest of the menu- the salads are super disappointing, but then again, this is a burger joint. Good selection of beers on tap, staff are ok, not super friendly, but not bad either. I'd certainly go back for a burger and a brew, just don't waste your money on anything green!

I had a veggie burger with grilled onions topped with avocado slivers. In support of living a healthier me. I love meat but this was very good. Light, crunchy, filling a real delicious recipe. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean. The prices reasonable. The TV screens have sports games to watch. Big windows let natural light in. Very nice ...I will return to try more items.

Pretty good eatery. Could have been a little bit more organized with front end service. Front end milk shake maker needs to make sure blender cleanser, or bearing grease is cleaned off of the milkshake paddle before making shakes. Besides that detail, everything else was pretty good.

Decent burgers in a little less than standard price. The burgers have many options but you can also do a completely custom piece. There are milkshakes and lots of sides and the food is generally good when hot. The only downside is the wait time. You can order to go and you can pre-order as well as get delivery through a number of different ordering services so the wait time is a little easier to get around. The shakes in the alternative fries seem to be very popular although I haven't really tried.

Beautiful setting on the beach, only one person working the counter and the place was packed, so it took longer to order then it needs to. The food was pretty good, my burger was a little over done although I usually prefer well done when I order burgers. Prices where decent and staff was friendly, overall not a bad place for decent food and unbeatable location!

A typical biker hangout. I love their make your own burger option. They have some great vegetarian options even though the menu is meat dominant. The burgers were delicious so were the fries. I'd be very vary of the amount of grease in the food though. I could have started a bonfire with my burger. But I'm guessing that's the standard for American burgers.

Everything was pretty good: hamburgers, onion rings, shakes, etc. About 10-12 beers on tap and more bottled. Everything's a la carte but lots of choices for add-ons. Service was great and friendly. I remember the very first location in the early genesis of what is now south like union Amazon hub. Ingredients were the very best. With scale come deterioration of values. With 9oz Burger, Great State, Shake Shake and even Dick’s there’s no compromise worth making if you want customer retention. Tonight was just another layer of disappointment. I come in just after 8PM on Alki Beach and it’s closed. We’re on Alki Beach!!! What logic makes sense to close at 8PM? As I write this, 100+ cars have passed by me on Alki. People are out walking. Clearly management doesn’t know how to capitalize their business at all hours of today and in fantastic location, otherwise they would be open. Best believe if Dick’s were in the same location, there would be a line and it would be open until 2AM. Goes to show that some people know what they’re doing and some don’t. JR doesn’t. With great hope, they only lease their business and someone like Great State Burger eventually takes over. 8PM closure on a half price night?!?! Dear owners, your managers aren’t meeting your sales objectives or the hungry needs of many Americans who eat at the 8PM hour on a sunny, beautiful evening. Hire me for no pay, just free food and together we will restore what once was.

Really do love Blue Moon Burgers. The gluten free buns are great. The onion rings, also gluten free, are fantastic especially with the blue moon sauce. Only problem with this particular location, is that they always seem to run out of onion rings. Probably about a third of the times we have gone there they are out. We go quite a bit, too. The fries are pretty good though. It wouldn't be a deal at all except that it's really the onion rings I go for and it's a bummer when they run out.

So-So Burgers at Best Burger You've Ever Had Prices Blue Moon Burgers isn't awful by any means, it's just not good enough to warrant the premium price. Burger and fries will run you at least $10 per person. I understand that beach property isn't cheap, but it would be nice to get a slightly bigger and better burger for what you're expected to pay. The fries are some of the best you can get in Seattle (proper hand-cut fries that are perfectly crispy and seasoned), the onion rings are quite good (crispy, seasoned batter with soft onions), and they make old-fashioned shakes, which is nice. The sides just seem overly expensive to me, considering the portion. Sometimes you can overlook an expensive burger if the fries are plentiful. The sauces are decent enough. Blue Moon Sauce is basically mayo and BBQ sauce. And that's the key to these burgers: you have to add so much sauce to them due to the lack of fat and seasoning when it comes to the patties. The burger is just okay. I tried the Classic; which is basically a McDonald's hamburger (without onions for some reason). It's basically cooked well-done (they say they cook medium-well; I asked for medium and it was all grey) and the patty doesn't appear to be seasoned (they advertise that it's seasoned, so perhaps it's just a light dusting). They also appear to use a rather lean ground (my preference is 80/20 for burgers) and there's not much variety in the sandwiches offered on the menu, so I would recommend building your own. I have to give them credit for the pickles and the bun. That's some high quality stuff. Places like Red Mill (so over-hyped) use Franz mush buns, but Blue Moon's brioche buns hit the mark. I just hoped for a bigger, messier burger, overall. The view is great and there is a lot of nice outdoor seating. The employees seemed pleasant, and I have no complaints in that regard. It's just hard for me to be impressed by burgers in a post-2007-era Lunchbox Lab burger. If the prices were a bit more reasonable, I would go back on occasion. As it stands, I'd just recommend that you try it and see for yourself.

Pros: it was fast, counter service very friendly, and the burger was quite tasty. Note, this was early afternoon on a Thursday, and the place wasn’t busy. Cons: one burger— one of the cheaper ones on the menu— and a soda, was well over $12. That’s no sides. No fries. Zero. Those are ala carte. I won’t say I’d never come back, it just seems more of a splurge burger joint if you want a bigger meal plus beer.

Our family's first time here and chose it based on reviews! Teriyaki burger and the hang over burger were delicious. We also had cajun and curry fries which were both tasty. Thick cut steak fries and perfectly seasoned. Got the kids grilled cheese and those were a hit as well Was a beautiful afternoon and we sat outside at the picnic tables, also had parking in back, very convenient! There is a noticeable additional fee on vegan items, which can really add up if you are dining with multiple vegans. Aside from that, the food delivery is prompt. The orders are always accurate. And the flavor is most excellent.

Milk Stout on Nitro, excellent. Onion rings were great. Sadly the burger was lacking. The meat was overcooked and chewy. Otherwise it was a nice experience to sit outside, watch the people and cars pass by in view of the Puget Sound. Really wish the burger was good.

Blue Moon has been wonderful to us over the past few years that we have been coming here. It is dog friendly, the staff is very friendly and the menu options have gotten better (GF options and plant based patty). Our dogs insist on stopping by at least once a week.

On Alki Ave facing the beach, this place gets packed when the weather is nice! Burgers a pretty good, fries are ok, but they do have beer, cider and milkshakes available! Veggie burgers and impossible burgers available as well!! Outdoor seating puts you in the prime spot for people watching / cars cruising! Downside - last week waited in line for 30 minutes (I think 6 people were ahead of me) during to only one POS being open so hopefully they fix that situation!

And I was eating, thinking about posting this review and looked at my garlic/parmesan fries, and thought "Well, look at that, the do like every other place in Seattle, and put all the gar/par on top in the center, and then you just have fries." OH how wrong I was!! These are the best garlic/parmesan fries, in all of Seattle and beyond! It was crowded due to the beautiful day today, and we waited quite a while, but TOTALLY worth it. We hit the Wednesday Special, but I'll be back any day of the week for this place. YUMMY!!

Fantastic burgers - However I personally am smitten with the BLT. I'm not overstating the truth when I say it's the best I've had in my entire life. Thick delicious bacon and a lot of it ... Texas toast.. Perfect tomatoes .. And the just right amount of lettuce to make it all work. The service isn't always perfect. When the right people are working, it flows much smoother than what I've experienced other times. (I live close, so I notice these things!) oh- one more thing ...I like I that can bring my dog out on the patio!

Being generous with 3... means average... This place is below average for vegan burgers. What a disappointment. Burger wasn't really cooked. Cheese wasnt melted. Way too much sauce soaking in rolls. I went on a whim, today, Thursday at 3, with hardly anyone there enjoying the gorgeous Seattle weekday. Still had to wait. I have been a resident 5 years. I was excited and decided to splurge on an afternoon alone, being my first time here. It's on main strip, so with no one there, view was good...thats it. Next time, I'm just going to stay with my favorite place: Luna Cafe. There's no beach view, but I'm also not paying $18 for a mediocre spicy vegan burger, nor wasting calories on mediocre fries and a soda that I could have gotten at Jack In The Box. I asked for blue cheese dressing...told me even that I had to pay for. Oh and the sign at door says: No Mean ppl ...They should probably inservice their employees on reciprocating this philosophy. Cashier guy and kid hand delivering food to table were barely polite. No exaggeration. 3 stars bcause I feel like being nice even after this disappointment. Was going to bring my guests here in Aug. ...not going to bother now. Over-rated. So many great places to splurge, as well as on this strip... I'd only be curious to see if meat eaters rave enuff to say it's worth the splurge.

Before tonight, I would have given it 5 stars, but I was so annoyed with my experience tonight! My husband and I come here with our toddler once every few weeks because they have good food, amazing onion rings, and a great view. We spend roughly $50 or so on a meal and drinks for two adults and one child. I always order the grilled cheese for my toddler. I’ve never had a problem before tonight and it reminds me of how much I loved grilled cheese when we ate out when I was a child. Tonight, it arrived very very burnt. I was already bothered that they let that leave their kitchen, but the high school aged table runner tried to make me feel like it was my problem, I was completely exasperating, and I should just take it. I will absolutely not serve burnt food to my toddler nor would he agree to eat it. This young kid acted like I asked to send back a $50 steak that I had already consumed. It was a $3.99 grilled cheese that maybe costs a $1 and 4 minutes to make and they were the ones who messed it up! I was livid to say the least and I asked that they get us a new one, and he told me that “he’d have to talk to the kitchen.” Ummmm? Suuuurrre. The new one arrived fine but had obviously made out of frustration as was haphazardly thrown together and delivered (again- a $4 sandwich requires this much drama?!?) I worked in fine dining for 8 years in Minneapolis and maybe it’s a Midwest thing, but we bent over backwards to make our customers happy. I would expect the item to at least be corrected at a cheap fast-food restaurant, but to be made to feel like I was doing them a huge disservice and I should take what I get at an establishment that has a tip line on its receipt before I have even received my food is utterly preposterous. I hope management will teach its employees about BASIC customer service. This experience aside, we’ve always enjoyed the OTHER employees and our food here. We’ll come back for the burgers... just hope they get some training in customer service.
