Wow! The 12 egg omelette is even bigger in person. The four of us couldn’t finish it either!
What a great spot and a fun diner experience. Thank you all.
Kerry Taylor
The first time I visited Beth's was in 1976 - 2 of us split the phenomenal gigantic omelet and had a great visit. I moved away and times kept changing the ambiance - just kind of took away what had been such a joyous experience. But, I kept checking in. I just checked out your website and I'm coming back - I can't wait!! Thank you for being there. ❤️

To the owner i really hope u open up ur place....this is not jus a wonderful place to eat...ur location held a huge spot for my daughter n myself we visit Washington n ur our first stop...she luvs to draw n having a piece of art work for u to put on the wall means alot to both of us...we come from California jus to eat here...we absolutely love this place. My favorite spot to good. The atmosphere is family friendly. Food here is delicious. Have to try the triple bypass if you go here along with there friendship bread. One thing you will notice is the drawings on the wall they give you paper to draw on while you wait for your food. The staff is always so friendly and service is top notch. This is a small sit down place to enjoy. This is a truly hidden gem type of spots. Their servers are amazing truly amazing they dont write anything down they memorize what you want and literally it's perfect everytime.

Thanks for hanging in there and coming back! COVID was tough on all of us, glad to have my all day breakfast place back! Looking forward to that BACON SCRAMBLE 🤘 …
Zibbie Noel
I miss you so much. I spent the best times of my teenage life there with cutting board paper and crayons and the all you can eat. Hashbrowns. Please come back soon the world needs you.
Carol Weber
I don't even like omelettes except at Beth's. Add the unlimited hash browns & you have a great deal. Leave room for dessert. Chocolate decadence cake! It gets a bit loud at night but that's why we love it. Coffee tastes like dish water but that's part of the charm.

Homely nice american breakfast. We enjoyed. the omelette was very tasty and super filled. the pancakes are not so sweet at all. Just the right amount of sweetness. Service is fast and nice.
Brittney B
Great food, awesome customer service and they are taking all precautions to prevent the spread of covid!
We had the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs and Country Benedict with hot and cold brew coffee. The corned beef was cooked to perfection. Nicely crisp over a bed of hash browns. The raspberry jam served paired deliciously with the corned beef. Treat yourself and make a little sammy.
The Country Benedict took biscuits and gravy to another level! That was one of the best biscuits I EVER had! Fluffy, not dry and flavorful. I topped off my bite with the raspberry jam...best decision ever!!
The staff takes preventing the spread of covid seriously! Social distancing, wiping down seats and tables, wearing masks and gloves and using Q-Code menus. We definitely felt safe at Beth's Cafe!
Yall come pay this gem a visit!!

Food tastes amazing! I had breakfast burrito with unlimited hash. Also their cinnamon roll is so delicious. Great service and friendly atmosphere with lots of drawings and quotes from customers placed over the walls. Cafe is on a busy street of Hwy 99 but there is parking in the back. I'd love to come back here again 💕💕 …

I absolutely love this place. They are truly iconic with awesome staff. I would go here every day if I lived closer. Seriously, such a good vibe with such good food. If you're ever visiting Seattle, visit Beth's

A breakfast mecca well worth the trip. Do not attempt the their famous 12-egg omelet/all you can eat hash browns alone. This was almost a huge mistake on my part. We left way over stuffed and couldn’t have asked for more. “Ghoul” was our server and she was very nice. Thanks to the chef most definitely.
mustafa Suwaylih
I had veggie omelette with biscuit and pancake. The omelette was great, and they serve it in two size 6 eggs or 12 eggs. The biscuit was okay. The only thing I I didn’t like it the pancake. It wasn’t good at all. The design of the restaurant was amazing.

On a brief visit to Seattle, I just had dinner with a friend at a place that is apparently a well known Seattle fixture, Beth's Cafe. It's a strange and eclectic hole in the wall diner with walls covered in customers' (I assume) drawings.
I ordered a 6-egg(!) omelette (I forwent the 12-egg option), but the six eggs were a small portion of the overall quantity of food. Good gods. I got the "triple bypass".
I was STARVING, not having had a proper meal since I got up at 6:something a.m., 800 miles away. I could only finish about half of it. It must have been about 3 pounds of food... Admittedly I made a bad choice and also got a chocolate malt. I think I'll have to subsist on just water tomorrow!
I'm glad I got to experience it. Another friend tells me there's some question as to whether they will survive the sale of their building. It would be sad if they do not.

Love Beth’s cafe for anytime of the day! Breakfast in the middle of the night after a long night or mid day lunch breakfast is deliciousness at its finest! I hope you guys are around long after the building gets sold out from under you guys! I always get chicken fried steak! Yum! But also love the biscuits and gravy!
Archana Das Stockwell
It was a crazy experience to eat loads of anything! We had the omlette ordered and they have the basic minimum of ordering an omelette of six or 12 eggs and they're the only options!! Obviously we took home half of our meal but it was definitely a hearty meal! The sourdough toast was beautiful and tasty !
Qelfan
Friendly staff, let us know when the parking changed so we could move our car to the back. I had an ok burger, but it had delicious bacon, i love the thick cut yet crispy bacon! The chocolate malt was great. The wife had a massive set of pancakes which she devoured and loved. Prices are typically in the $15 range, shakes are $7. The decor is cute, customers draw stuff and they put it up. Defintely a diner vibe.
Kelsie K.
Always a great place for good foods, good company, and good service. 😋💝❣
Oh, and our friend gave us a piece of his favorite, the "Northwestern Exposure". It's an Omelet w/ Salmon & Cream Cheese. Omg, it's delicious!
Bob May
The best place for old school classic traditional country breakfast...... and yes they have big portions but that's not why I come. Great service, very attentive, and their food is not greasy and overcooked. They're over easy eggs are absolutely delicious and they have superior quality breakfast meats and if you've never been there the strawberry jam sitting on the table is to die for. We travel up from Portland Oregon and when we are headed to Seattle we go directly to Beth's Cafe to start our trip. Three thumbs up!
Yuliana Mendoza
Great service. Delicious food. Drawings all over are super cool and entertaining. Only downside is that they don’t have avocado haha. Such a Seattle classic breakfast :)
Jeb Brooks
Beth's Cafe is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant who has been around since 1954 and is well known for their breakfast especially their omelettes. Six eggs!
That is what my wife attempted. I on the other hand went for the Patty Melt on sourdough with tater tots. Good food and lots of it.
Stefanie Elizabeth
I've heard of this place for years but didn't live close, I moved to the area a few months ago & finally able to experience Beth's Cafe .... gotta say not how I except the building "lil hole in the wall" do to covid the walls are bare I was told so will have to return again & check out the art normally up. The staff is corky & friendly.
You definitely get your moneys worth in food! I had the 6 egg Triple Bypass Omelet it was so much can't imagine a 12 egg. Tons of hashbrowns under it & thick slice of toast (sour dough) w/excellent jam. I mean OMG could eat it by the spoonful gives gmas a run for it. I'd go back again just for that.
My friend ordered Chicken Fried Steak .... we shared our plates to both be able to taste the other. It was also great. After ordering our food the waitress walks by to another table with an enormous cinnamon roll. I might need to check it out next time.
Joe Tian
Great food in generous portions. Great place to let your imagination run wild(sober or not) with crayons to doodle with, while you wait for your food. If they like what you did your masterpiece gets to go on the wall! (Actually you can put it up there whether they like it or not) fun for all ages and open 24 hours, what's not to like?
Kiadaj Wildblood
Odd place, a mix of an old lady's diner and Celtic metal. The food portions are huge, the quality quite good, a little lacking in cleanliness but the staff was super chill. Parking is available behind the building in a alleyway parking lot.
Saoud
Amazing food. Amazing people there. Beths will be sorely missed in Seattle. So glad I was able to make it there one last time with my friend.
Phoebe
Delicious food and very kind and friendly staff! I got the 6-egg southwestern exposure with sourdough toast and could only finish half bc it was so big. Would recommend!
Cristian Del Rio
The atmosphere was cozy and friendly and the serving sizes were more than generous, so bring your appetite!
Rachel H
Food is great, as is service. It's an old, little dive that is worth checking out. The walls are covered with art by customers . . . Little kids to accomplished artists. Go here. Eat food. Look at walls. Then thank me.
Andy Mahasongkham
I love Beth's Cafe its a Seattle Institution. The servers are genuine and respectful. The food is great with simplicity no thrill or bell. Classic type of diner food at reasonable price. Atmosphere is like a family dinner or lack of better term a neighborhood get together.
Alanis Nash (Lani)
Shared a 6 egg omlette with one other person. Definitely large enough to share! It was also delicious and the waitress was super sweet. Definitely recommend.
We had no wait and found street parking right outside.
PayisInc
Such a great little place! My first time here was great! Spectacular service (my coffee cup and water were never empty) and great food (pancakes and bacon were hot and fast). Very satisfied with my experience overall 🙂👍 …

Beth’s is Seattle’s premier 24-hour diner dive. It’s got it all: huge portions, big tables for groups, milkshakes, a thousand eggs a day, even a jukebox. Bring your friend on their last night in the city - just when they can’t fit another bite - because their look of surrender when the 12-egg omelette arrives will be blow up the Gram.
The first thing you’ll notice is the drawings. Walls are caked in contributions, customers expressing their love and loyalty through Pokemon or Rick burps. Ask for crayons and try to win the honor before your time runs out and plates cover the table :)
Portions sizes range from reasonable (their small meals) to outrageous. The poster child is the famous and aforementioned omelet, which comes in two sizes, six eggs and twelve, each with toast and bottomless hash browns. Come for one meal and leave with three! Other favorites include the country fried steak and the waffle breakfast. For sweets, skip the cheesecake and chocolate cake and go straight for the milkshakes and the cinnamon role, ask for it a la mode.
Other tips:
1) Beth’s actually has a small parking lot behind the restaurant, enter through the alley.
2) They don’t take reservations and your whole party must be present for seating.
3) Starve yourself beforehand.
4) Too many toast options, which will I choose? —> egg toast 10/10
AL CHOKHALI
Beth’s, awesome diner great food, amazing hash browns, awesome service, Yet!!! The reason it’s 4 stars is ain’t about the service or food quality or service or environments It’s a rad spot but if you are not in a group you get to ask to sit In the area in the phots. Which is okay, but definitely they could have offered me a better spot to sit, fair enough it’s all booths. Recommend. Let’s all be = 🤟
Jacob Lyons
A true diner that is not a typical "lets looks like a classic 50's diner" but a "our food is greasy and good and we have awesome proportions and hand drawn art all over the walls" sort of a place.
I got the 6 egg triple bypass omelette and they did not skimp on filling the omelette with bacon cheese and ham at all.
Expect good food, good service, and greasy food. (Also... the 12 egg omelette is served on a pizza tray and almost the size of a personal pizza)
John Song
Beth's Cafe is the place you have to visit when in Seattle. Their 12 egg omelette is probably the best in the world and worth the price. Open 24 hrs so whenever you need food you got Beth's. They also have other greeat food like pancakes, burgers, country fried steaks. Highly Recommended
STRUT FILMS
Ordered several plates of food, each plate was massive in portion and delicious! Get anything that sounds good to you, and you won't be left hungry!
Elizabeth Pitrucha (Beth)
Huge portions, great hot chocolate fun vibe a staple down in green lake, if you haven't gone, you should go!
A M
Certainly not worth the wait. If there's a long line, go somewhere else. The food was typical diner fare and their claim to fame is their 6 or 12 egg omelet. The biscuits and gravy was decent enough. Service was slow. The portions for the price was reasonable; but with 75% of customers leaving with a doggy bag seems like a poor business model. We choose this place because the volume of reviews were positive. Can't say I'll return though.
S Pantuev
Eggs are good and inexpensive. 6 for me was enough (I usually eat a lot). If you want to share you need to pay a small fee. Unlimited bread and hash browns. Usually crowded.

One of our favorite Seattle after hours spots, if you've had a little to drink and looking for some great comfort food, this is our go-to spot in North Seattle. Dive-y and eccentric and totally Seattle!
Floryn
Love love love this place! Prior to covid, the walls here were littered with patron drawings but sadly due to current events, the walls have been stripped and it definitely changes the tone a bit.
Nonetheless, this is the best late night spot! Beth's Cafe is your quintessential neighborhood joint serving up hit-the-spot diner breakfast platters. Most recently, I tried the chicken fried steak and eggs and I was more than pleasantly surprised to dig into a slice of actual steak! It was delicious and perfectly paired with crispy hashbrowns and rich creamy gravy.
Make sure to put this in your rotation of late night food runs!

BETH'S CAFE.. I grew up here in North Seattle and have been coming here throughout my whole life. Most people from here are very aware of the existence of Beth's Cafe (similarly to Dicks) and everyone absolutely loves it! Great food, cool people, good music and a grungy atmosphere! Never a bad experience.
Dena Raney
My husband & I visited from St. Louis, Mo. In Nov. 2019 & this was our first stop... They have the BEST omelettes & pancakes EVER ❣️🤗❣️ …
Adventures Of A Traveling Don (The Traveling Don)
Bring your appetite! Portions are huge. Delicious biscuits and gravy. Very good service. Adults and kids alike are encouraged to draw and post up their drawings.
Christephen Cypher
Great place for family and friends to eat BIG meal! Frien6 staff and great service. We paid good tip to service.
Brian Kaku
The portion sizes are truck stop crazy enormous! They have six and twelve egg omelets that are gut busting delishes. I chose the Country Benedict with country gravy smothering all over. I'm so glad this place survived the Covid 19 restrictions. Make sure you support this Seattle landmark must see experience.

24- hour greatness. Beth's is a national and local favorite for the greasy spoon lovers out there. Getting out late after a long movie? No worries, Beth's food is waiting for you at 3am, or 3pm. The food stays consistently good at anytime.
Famous for it's 12 - Egg omelettes, worth it to try solo or in a group. If you do order the massive omelette you also get unlimited hash browns. Win - win. If eggs aren't your thing, no worries. They got burgers and fries. However, don't forget some bomb desserts like their 6.50$ shake that they serve to you overloaded and with real brownie peices and a whopping on whip cream on top. Go spoil yourself at Beth's. My only downside would be the overall appearance. Definitely a shabby place, but be honest, you're not coming here for fine dining. Enjoy!

If you love a good 'ol greasy spoon American style diner, look no further. This place offers MONSTER 12 egg omelettes as well as tiny little plates and everything between. They are generous in their portions and carry the golden breakfast nectar that is Cholula hot sauce. I make a trip out here at least once a year.
The only thing I'd suggest they'd improve is getting fresher biscuits to level up their biscuit dishes. They currently microwave some prepped ones and they're just not the same as piping hot fresh ones. Their gravy is pretty great though.
All in all, a solid choice for Seattle breakfast in a cozy diner atmosphere. 🍽️

This place is AMAZING!!! I see why Adam from Man v Food raved about this place. They serve 6 and 12 egg omelettes with all you eat hash browns. But the whole menu is delicious, and they bake there own bread right next door upstairs. Yummy
Paul Gibson
Beth's has the Seattle Soul , families, students, singles and the music is incredible. Great place to have a leisurely, really great meal.
Megan Penno
The food is exactly what you would expect from a classic American Diner. Huge portions, only one of the five of us could finish their meal and that was the baby breakfast! I would recommend sharing food. I felt bad for leaving so much food uneaten.
The milkshakes are amazing but again I would share these as they are so thick and filling! Pretty cool decor.
Servers were a bit all over he place though. We had four different people serve us and they didn't seem to know what each other was doing.
Noah
Weird interior, but the food is great. There’s no parking on site but free street parking near by. Very interesting characters, but nothing that’ll scare you away :).
Per Sveen
It's a fun place with reasonable prices. It doesn't try to be fancy but it does a good job being a casual breakfast place. I only ordered a milkshake but it was very tasty!!
Brandon Thompson
After having my car towed to a nearby shop, having a delicious Americana breakfast hit the spot!
Great food, and so much for a decent price I only got half-way through! Amazing, and will be back in the future.
shirin mirafzal
All the foods were made unbelievably delicious 🤤 the cooks and staffs are professionally hospitable 🎊 you will never forget your experience if you take your food to the shore of Green Lake to enjoy it, like we did 😋 …
Greg Maggass
Tasty food, great omelets, enjoyed the coffee, nice wait staff, not too long of wait (30ish), would recommend a+++
Alex Terokhin
Meals are huge! There is wait time but thats totally fine. But they didnt like our music that we payed to play. And expect us to listen to theirs:(
Samantha Edits
Very loud. Loud customers and loud servers yelling to each other. Although, I did go at 3 am. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. I ordered the grilled cheese and tater tots and hot cocoa and it was pretty good.
Scott Laughlin
Huge portions, tons of grease, the typical hole in the wall breakfast joint. It does get a little pricey, most dishes could be shared, the portions are very big. I say you have to try this place at least once.
Flat Stanley
Unique interior with great tasting food... I had a traditional breakfast with french toast as a substitute.. There is a small parking lot located directly behind
Michael
Love it always... first time here during the day shift, quick service and still the same ole Great Beth's
Kristen Maure
This place is off the chain. I had the best corned beef hash and raspberry preserves I have ever eaten in my entire life. Love the local's artwork and the general chill vibe. Go get some.
Thomas Mathew V
This place is a really cute Cafe. Definitely recommend you spend the waiting time inside contributing to the art on the walls.
Food portions are ginormous so you probably want to share each dish among two people.
Mister Moon
Awesome service and food! Remembered us after a year of not showing up! Awesome new hot sauces (Ardvark) and same great food! Oh and the coffee is kickass too!
Chris White
I have been coming to Beths since the 90's. Still great food, awesome value, and unique decor. The staff is always great.
Kent Milholland
Been spending most of my time in Downtown Seattle so this was a welcome change. Wonderful breakfast, 6 or 12 egg omelets, bottomless hashbrowns, excellent country fried steak. All in a homey location that isnt expensive. Loved it!
Andrei Pintilie
Huge meals, interesting looking place, cool and funny drawings all over the place. Service was good. Place looks a little dirty.
Caitlin Knudsen
Amazing, tasty food for a fair price. Portions are huge and the food will fill you up. The customer drawings on the walls will also keep you entertained.
Dillon C
This place was absolutely delicious. The staff where so incredibly kind and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Overall great experience.
Nahuel Azul Franchi
If you’re looking for a classic diner, look no further. Great service, feels homie and the food is just massive. The “tri by pass” omelette is the bomb!!
Eleanor Chambers
Food was great, service was all right. Went at 12am midnight which was a rather busy time. Wait time for service was a little bit above average, but quality of food and jukebox entertainment made up for wait times. Servings are HUGE.
Scott Duncan
Remember 'Singles'? I felt like I walked into that movie when I visited Beth's. Quirky, interesting people watching, entertaining walls. Great food. Omelette as big as your head.
krystal garcia
The food was great and the service was fast! The atmosphere was cozy and i had no complaints. The employees were friendly! Id definitely come back next time im in Seattle!
Don Hennick
We pulled up behind California plates, I'm not surprised this little hole in the wall would attract out of towners. Fist rate breakfast ,and if you like watching waitress legs....
Heidi Mittelstadt
Awesome food. Fun atmosphere. Old school cafe.
Kris
I have never met Beth but I know enough to know that she had a vision of making some small corner of the world in which nobody would ever feel like they didn't get enough hash browns.
Also the Amish bread is absurdly good.
Tammi Tillson
Service was fantastic! Customer service was on point even though they had a steady flow of customers the entire time my friend and I visited. Didn't even have to ask to have our coffees topped off as they were on top of it! Very friendly atmosphere and employees. It's one of those hole In the wall type places that most certainly is quite the Gem. The omelet was delicious.
jazzmaine Sims
Great place great food n staff worm feeling welcomed will go again
Anthony Siciliano
The waitress was very pleasant. I enjoyed the quaint atmosphere. I would recommend getting the jam. It’s delicious. I would have liked the bacon to be a cooked a little me. The waitress insisted they make another batch and I declined. So they were great about trying to accommodate. I was not a big fan of the canned cold brew.
I love this location and the hometown feel
John Shangin
Ate the 12 egg Southwestern omelette featured on the show Man vs. Food👌 Great service and food👍 …
Teacher Ryn
Honestly the weirdest part of them being open again is that all the employees are still smiling.
Michael Garza
Fantastic food! Excellent service! Definitely coming back as often as I can!
Jacki Cunningham
I've always loved going here as a kid with my parents and still love going now!! I absolutely love their apple pie!!
IrishGuy 23
I love Beths! I have been going there (exclusively) late at night with my family and friends for many years, and never once have I received a meal I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The portions are pretty damn good for what you pay as well which makes it a nice place for people on a smaller budget. The atmosphere is in my opinion unpretentious and doesn't try to hard to get u to like it, but I really think you will.
Sean Deevy
Awesome hole in the wall cafe. Friendly staff, very filling and delicious food.
Chelsea Riddle
Staff here was fantastic. Called in my order and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. Food was delicious, the hashbrowns were a lil greasy, though take out boxes don't do any food any favors. Their biscuits and gravy are actually quite good, and that's a big compliment from this southerner. I look forward to going back!
Tristan Amer
Best brunch and cafe in Seattle! Awesome service 👏 …
Brittney Kim
Iconic Seattle breakfast spot! Always the best 🥰 there is nowhere in the world quite like beths.
Eric Everett
Today was our first time and we were absolutely impressed with everything!!! The service and restaurant were clean, safe and they sanitized everything! The food, good lord I don't know where to start! Incredibly delicious and I only ordered half of a build your own omelet and I think I have breakfast for a week, not kidding!!! There was a $3.00 Covid charge but it was more than worth it for that great experience!!! If you haven't tried Beths yet go there now!!! Nice job guys!!!
Lisl Stadler
I've had some great experiences here, but also have had experiences where it's clear they want to get you in and out as quickly as possible (and don't refill your coffee, check back, etc.) Worth seeing and enjoying , but don't expect the best service.
Jack Strubbe
One last cuppa and biscuits and gravy for the road. Thank you Beth's for one last day before the shutdown. May you resurrect soon!
BroadwayJoe99
Well worth the visit. Good food, good prices, excellent service. And you really can leave your mark there - like my wife did.
Eric Lazaro
great food and pretty decent service
Daniel McDonnell
My dad took me to Beth's cafe in 1979 for my birthday. I had pancakes the size of a steering wheel, lol. I was 5 yrs. old. My fiance and i went to eat there last night and was really sad to see you closed. Please tell me that you will be opening soon. Thank you for the memory's. God bless.
Nick Alkire
Delicious food, fun service and great group experience.
Stewart Fitz Gibbon
A classic neighborhood diner. Food quality was excellent, particularly the hash browns that were crispy and not greasy. The hostess was one of the most cheerful people I have seen in a restaurant!
Lina Sam
So I had the chicken fried steqk and it was pretty good! My a couple my friends had the 6 egg omelet and the bith said it was amazing and filling....plus its all u can eat hashbrowns but after eating the omelet or my case chicken fried steak, had no room for 2nd servings of hash. Service was amazing, came by often make sure our water was always full, coffee full and any soda drinks full! Will def come back and maybe next time I'll habe to try the 6 egg omelet!
Thank you Beth cafe. Delish food, great service and good friends!
Lexi Rose
Best bang for your buck holy moly!
Eggs? Bomb. Bacon? Delicious. Everything. Was. Amazing. Don't underestimate it. 10/10.
Alexandria Bodas
Beth's is the perfect no-frills joint I've been looking for. The breakfast burrito was massive and filling with leftovers for later. So glad this place recently reopened. Also bonus points for having some parking in the back, which can be hard to come by here.
Ricky Hayes
Wife and I split the 6 Egg Southwestern omelette. Plenty of food for us. The chili in it is awesome. Great flavor and not just a, let's just throw a lot on the plate sort of thing. Nice friendly staff that is doing a great job of cleaning to the best ability for Covid 19. Worth the short 30 minute wait on a Saturday morning.
Roberto Villani
Local place with lots of different breakfast options. Nice staff. The 12-egg omelette is a must!
Aru Moore
Very odd looking at first, but their food is amazing and their staff is so nice and attentive! I had the bacon omelette and it was one of the best I've ever had. The place also has a lot of personality and you can spend quite a bit looking at the drawings on the walls, they're quite adorable!
Gina McKnight
This was shown on “Man VS Food” several years ago, but we didn’t get to try it until right before the pandemic. We had always wanted to try one of their mega omelettes since we saw it on the show. We finally did and not only was it absolutely delicious, we conquered it too! One of the best breakfast spots in the Seattle area.
Patrick Haley
Beth's is back and worth the wait outside in the rain!
Harry Sosa Jr
I love these types of places. The food is excellent. I'm not sure what they cook with but there's not the typical old greasy taste to their food. I ordered the steak and eggs and was surprised by the clean taste. No heavy seasoning at all; just the natural taste of the food. This is now on my list of places to visit when I'm in town.
Karena Lindstrom
This is a great breakfast spot! It's a no-frills little diner that serves delicious breakfast items. The Breakfast Burrito was awesome! They have great hashbrowns which come as all you can eat with lots of menu items. The service is great. The walls are covered in drawings and doodles done by customers. There is convenient parking behind the restaurant.
Jeffrey Lyon
"Hole in the wall" type diner with tons of goofy drawings on the wall. The pricing is reasonable and the food is decent.
Barely Alive
Beth's is a legend. Never ever ever turn down an opportunity to go to Beth's! Bring your appetite and enjoy one of their infamous 6 or 12 egg omelettes though I've never met a menu item I didn't like. Enjoy the atmosphere and bring your inner grunge kid as this is the place they dreamed of. Make sure to visit the mural in the alley parking lot as it truly shows the spirit of this legendary greasy spoon.
Tyler Nally
Great diner. Great atmosphere. Great food. My understanding is that a couple decades ago the served these massive 12 egg omelets were served on automotive hubcaps. These days they use pizza pans. The omelette we shared was featured on man vs food. The southwestern omelette with 12 eggs. Hash browns on the bottom with a 12 egg omelette containing a filler of chili and cheese. Yummy. Nobody left hungry. Very friendly staff. The walls were papered with coloring book artwork by the patrons (I assume) and their children. Beth's is highly recommended.
Mark Katon
Came here with a hunger that thought it could overcome any challenge. Ordered the Southwestern Exposure omelet with six eggs and some coffee. When it arrived to my table I couldn't help but to laugh. I knew that there was no way I was going to finish it. The chili is delicious that's inside of it and this will make a good breakfast for at least a couple more days. Glad that they are open! Cheers!

I haven't been here in over 10 years since moving out of state. Loved going to the place late at night after a long night of hanging out with friends. We'd come here and the food was alway great, and the overall vibe of this place was wonderful. Many great memories of hanging out with so many great people here.
David Hardy
Breakfast, Breakfast, Breakfast. Unique atmosphere for a large and delicious meal. The people there were very friendly and fun!
Jeff & Kim Greenawalt
I have been going to Beth's for over 40 years thanks to my parents making that our special breakfast spot since I was 5 years old. I am happy to be able to take my boys there and glad they get the same great food and experience I did. Keep it up Beth's Cafe!
Michelle Flood
So happy to see you’re open again! We went yesterday and were thrilled with the PNW omelet and the chicken fried steak. The only thing we didn’t love was how loud the music was. Welcome back, Beth’s. You were missed.
Charles
This was a really unique place to eat. Very small and popular too. Not very much seating so you wait outside to be called. Then when inside you get to see the cool crayon drawing customers have covered the place with. Wish I would have taken some pictures. The food was also very delicious.
Maitha Lindberg
No wait for 2 at 1am on a Saturday morning but I have been here other times when I had to wait at least 15 min. Service is prompt and the place reeks of memories and odes to Beth's cafe giving it a no frills homey well worn feel. I have tried most of their menu and am pleased with the basic traditional with pancakes. Their pancakes are chewy with a little crisp, bacon is thick and crispy cooked as ordered as well as the eggs. Nothing disappoints, they know how breakfast should be. I come and eat here when I want to feel connected to the older no frills Seattle and always leave, a little guilty, really full and ready for a long nap.

It was pretty cool 👍 this was my first time ever and I'm pretty sure not the least one. Food was really good and the service toooo we really like it …
Andrew Prentice
You get what you expect from a place that has a 12 egg omelet and all you can eat hash browns. I have cured many hangovers with the food from this place. And the customer drawings taped all over the diner walls are a cute touch. This place is also open late, which is awesome when all the other food options start closing. Stop by for some diner food, draw a little, and leave with a full belly. Sounds good to me.
Kristina
Surprisingly good food! I’m not usually a diner person but I would visit this one from time to time. Hash browns are not overcooked, the omelette is fluffy, good veggie options, pancakes are not too sweet (even with blueberries). Portions are really big and price is nice.
Dolola Ava
Alright, pretty average experience. They only have one toilet but the fact that they allow just about anyone (not just kids) to hang up their crayon drawing is pretty unappealing. The food came in large portions but tasted very average. The waiters were nice but parking is a test of ones patience.
Michael Adams
Love this place!! Happened to be passing and was hungry so I stopped in for Biscuits and Gravy with 2 Eggs scrambled. Loaded my plate, near instant service. Everyone was super friendly, joking around. Positive atmosphere!
This is only 1 or 2 days after their window got smashed by some blockhead they had to refuse service too. I tipped them extra because throughout the whole thing, these guys and this place, maintain there exellency.
Grace King
Delicious, giant food! So glad you're back open! 💜

This place is way cool . I love it here , the food is amazing. Looking at all the drawings that are on the wall's is sweet . All the cool drawings that are on the menu's are very cool . The service is always great . Looking at the menu what do I wanna get , I don't know it all sounds good . Chicken fried steak scrambled eggs toast & hash browns . I would love to go there right now. Sweet Place .

We have been in a few times and have always had a great experience and food!!! We pop in when we are having one of our bikes serviced at Triumph of Seattle. Overall, this tiny diner has great food and service. The portions are enormous! The omelettes are fantastic. The grilled cheese with tomato basil soup totally hit the spot!! Their breakfast never disappoints!! The older dilapidated walls are decorated with art that has been created by customers on paper using crayons. The acoustics are not very good and the conversations of those around us were incredibly loud. I did find it a little weird on our most recent visit (7/6/19) to have one of the bussers/waitresses with her butt cheek and blue panties hanging down out of her shorts...it was odd for the setting and seemed inappropriate for an employee.
David Swanson
Beth's is a greasy spoon diner. It's a pretty good one, though better ones do exist.
Expect a decent breakfast, with large portions and generally average to above average quality, and you won't be surprised.
Don't expect fine dining, but do expect a perfectly fine dining experience!
Jonquil Elise Dreadful
The veggie omelette, French toast and corn beef hash were terrific. The service is fast and the staff are friendly. Inexpensive and huge portions plus they are quick on the coffee refills. Making pictures with broken crayons to put on the wall is a priceless family experience at 1 AM after your rock show resolves.
Ariunzaya Erdenebileg
I had very delicious brunch. I ordered omelet. The portion was really big. They are really worth the price. I would go there again if I am around that area. All the workers are really nice. Even though there are lot of people waiting outside, they have a waiting room which makes convenient.
Reilly Hearne
Great food, open 24 hours, fun atmosphere. When you sit down they give you something to draw on. The walls are completely covered with drawings that people have made over the years. It seems recently their menu and prices changed, but they still offer the same quality they always have. The six-fiddy shake is a personal favorite, especially to share.
Jared G
Best comfort food breakfast around. Huge portions. Eggs are always cooked perfectly.
Lisa Geckle
The food was AMAZING and they have the BIGGEST and best cinnamon rolls EVER!! However....the restrooms were revolting, the interior pretty rough and dirty, and there was a fly circling our table the entire time. Took my out of town parents here since they heard about the 12 egg omelette and were really looking forward to it...we all loved the food, but we could’ve enjoyed it more with a cleaner atmosphere!

Beth's, a favorite among locals, is a diner which is several orders of magnitude better than any IHOP or Perkins you'll ever see. In non-pandemic times Beth's is open 24 hours and offers crayons to draw anything that comes to mind.
As of September 2021 they've announced a temporary closure. My only hope is that I can plaster the wall with another crayola creation and slam back a 12 egg omelette.
Ian Kirk
Beth's is an amazing place. The meals are huge, prices are incredible, and many of the items come with unlimited hash browns. They have an omlett called the triple bypass! The walls are covered with customer crayon drawings that are amazing to read. The staff are all wonderful. The grill is greasy just the way a breakfast place should be. The bacon is thick and cooked to perfection. Just know if you are coming on the weekend the waits will be long but always worth it. Coffee is unlimited. If you just come to see the walls covered with drawings you won't be disappointed.
Holler Pop
From the outside this place looks like a dump... Well inside too. But the food is good and the service is great. I had the patty melt. And they aren't shy on the fries. They encourage you to draw a picture with crayons to add too the "wallpaper"... charming. Will be back... Maybe to split a 6 egg omelette with my husband. 👀 …

I have wanted to like this place a long as I've lived in Seattle. It's fine, it's consistent (sorta), and it's busy. Because it's one of the original breakfast spots (and one of the few 24 hour restaurants) that is still around - Beth's is always pretty damn busy. I've been here at 11am, 3am, 3pm and a few other times in between... And it has always been greasy, mediocre quality food for standard Seattle prices ($12+). Sure, it's a load of food... But that shouldn't be the main reason people come here.
I love the interior no matter how run down, but I just don't understand why this place is always rated so highly. Spend the same money at most other establishments and you'll get a much higher quality meal. If you really need something that's 24 hours, drive to Greenwood for North Star.
Michelle St Jean
It was great!!! The food was bomb!!! The waiter , the atmosphere....no complaints here
Pamela Deschene
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The drawings on the walls give you a feeling of being surrounded by friend. The food was fabulous and the portions generous! We will definitely be going back for more our next visit to Seattle!
Justin Spiegelberg
A Seattle staple for breakfast. Bring your whole family and start being part of a long tradition. Sausage links and bacon are delicious and on point. Hash browns are endless.
Come for the food, stay for the local flavor and art!
Sophie Moss
You won't leave hungry. Massive portions so good value for money if you're looking for leftovers. Very attentive staff and a generally fun environment with all the pictures on the walls.
Large choice of food so no matter what breakfast food you want you'll be satisfied. Open 24 hours too.
Shari Segner
The food here is always best and always the same recipe, I love that. If one of your favorites is not on the menu, ask and they just might whip it up for you, and that my friends is part of why they are so awesome!
You will still find customer drawings on the wall, some are beginner level and others are of a professional level. It's always fun to grab some paper and crayons and work on your master piece while you are there and hang it on one of the walls of fame when your done!
Jeri Swatosh
This place is amazing! The atmosphere is definitely 24 hour diner with a wait staff that is urban and cool and nice as pie! The food was fabulous. I recommend the cinnamon roll and the 12 egg omelette. Just bring friends to share them with!
Stefanie Samson
It was ok. Service lacked a bit but the Man vs Food omelette was pretty good.
Jean-André Moore
So impressed with the food there! My blueberry milkshake was the real star though! They give you big portions so we had enough for breakfast the next day. Plus you get to color! They have drawings from customers all over the place and I think they use some for their menus even! Fun spot, great staff very busy feeling.
Ngoc Binh
Exactly what you are looking for in a greasy rock and roll kind of diner! Really excellent service and timely with unique art and Seattle alternative vibes. The food is pretty cool too, and the shakes are awesome! Take on a big omelet as a challenge, cause if you fail you'll always have leftovers. Just make sure to always show your ID when paying with a card and and walk carefully from your street parking. Visibility can be low and some of the seattlelites drive fast!
Victor Caceres
This is eclectic place and part of Seattle's history at this point. But it's hard to get parking on Aurora. The service is friendly and the portions of food are abundant, but the flavor is a bit bland. Like I said it's eclectic which translates to fun, different, but not the cleanest of establishments. One big plus is it's open 24 hours. So if your real hungry at 3am and you're looking for lots to eat, then this is the place for you.
Ellie Hemenway
Easily the best diner in the Seattle area! The food is reasonably priced and you get HUGE portions. Anything from the breakfast menu is highly recommended (their omelets are legendary) but everything is great. It has a grungy, cool, and fun atmosphere with customer drawings all over the walls and a modern jukebox.
Beth’s is open 24/7 which is another massive plus. Be prepared to wait for a table on busy nights but it’s always worth your time. If you’re visiting Seattle, absolutely check this place out for a flavor of the city!
Joseph Bronson
This is a great local cafe. The staff are amazing and friendly; they know how to make you feel like you're at home. The drawings all over the wall are fun to look at and the prices are great for the amount of delicious food you get. The jam is to die for!
My only personal complaint is that the biscuits are very corn-bread like and crumbly, however, that is just a preference thing.
David Garnica
Great hasbrowns! Endless hash browns! Great fun service, and they serve a huge, but delicious, omelette!
Heather Cat

Beth's is always a fun experience even before you get to the food. That being said, the food was excellent as always. I tried something new this time around: the Country Benedict.
The gravy was thick, satisfying and had plenty of chunks of sausage. The biscuits were thick with just the right level of moisture. I could easily have had just a plate of biscuits and gravy and been happy, but I was glad for the eggs and sausage patties!
Breanne Dawson
A Seattle classic, but not 100% to my taste. The food and portions are great. Their friendship bread is absolutely delicious. The service was only so-so, and if you're not a fan of dingy/grungy, this is not the place for you. However, that's sort of their thing. The drawings on the walls are fun, but it was loud and overcrowded.
Prabha
Extremely friendly staff, a very interesting place, but not the cleanest environment. I love the markers and blank sheets of papers they offer (adult and kids) to doodle with. It's super fun. The walls are covered with sheets of art people doodled while dining there.

More than 17 years ago I came to Beth’s and the 6 and 12 egg omelette blew my mind. I never forgot what a crazy idea or place. I told my self I wanted to go back one day. Years later I did just that. Food was still great. Service was great. Happy they have stayed in business all these years! Keep it up.
Zach Traynor
Seattle classic, right by Green Lake. Bit of a dive, but worth it. Great breakfast food (and more!) at all hours, good choice for a late night meal. Portion sizes are on the larger end, which is great if you're hungry! Makes great leftovers too. Would highly recommend to any visitor to Seattle
Ashley Kernes
Had the best scrambled eggs in forever and a delicious biscuit. Portions are enormous and shareable. I got one of their mini breakfasts and it was still a decent portion. Thank you Beth's cafe for a delightful brunch.
Skyler
My dad worked here a long time ago. There's still a baby picture of me on the wall. Even all these years later, some of the staff know me. But outside of all that, the food is amazing, the service is ALWAYS friendly and cooperative, and feels very home-like. Definitely go here if you need a place with good food and good people to chill at.
Joel (Eageralto)
Still a top-notch greasy spoon. The serve excellent food, mostly made from scratch, the wait staff is friendly, and the ambience, if you're into new-bohemian hipster, is great. My only complaints regard the relative lack of parking, which is to be expected, considering the location , and the burgers, which are okay, except for the bun. It appears homemade (good effort) but are much too dense and ruin the sandwich.
Lisa Bay
The food was delicious, the atmosphere is fun, but the service was less than ideal. We were greeted by a very friendly young woman but our server seemed very abrasive and once we were served never came back to our table. Getting her attention when we needed a take home box was nothing shy of a miracle.
ramie1498
This place has a relaxed atmosphere. The staff is always very friendly and they put up with me and my loud friends very graciously. Love that they hang up art and have an artsy grunge look. They blast music that customers can change to just about anything, so beware when taking out kids, and probably don't bring your grandparents here
Cachet Caraway
This was such a nice little place. We enjoyed our breakfast the omelets were great and we could split one six eggs omelette between two of us. Later we heard did Kurt Cobain used to visit there and that was a real treat to hear that we had been somewhere now I just feel famous
Kerstin Johnson
Leaving a 5 star review-- because the breakfast my husband and brother in law ordered this morning was ON POINT! Fresh and delicious-- friendly service! We came for business all the way from Atlanta-- hands down-- awesome breakfast joint that made you feel welcomed! The guys behind the counter/kitchen know how to throw down!!!
Erik Nielsen
Beth's is a Seattle Institution and is always packed. The food is great but there are many drawbacks that prevent it from being a five star place. The food is good and the portions are huge but you do pay for that. It may seem like some cheap food but the bill can rack up fast. The decor is good for those who want a casual dining experience but it certainly isn't polished. I'd still be a regular however if it weren't for the poor service. The place is always packed and so you'll be asked to wait outside for a table to open up but the wait staff had on multiple occasions been rude when asking for time updates on a table. Once seated they also are not very kind.
Vikas Kumar
Food is an experience here, in the both dimensions of taste and size! 12 egg omelette and 6-egg omelette filled with hash browns and ham, are you serious? I liked the experience more than food though. Food was certainly greasy but good for an experience. Note, go with friends to share the plate.
Quinten Grimm
Best diner in the city, would rate it higher if I could. Great place to go with friends any time of the day or night. All the art on the walls is nerdy and adorable, and they have a modern jukebox which is amazing. You can get huge omelettes that can feed your whole crew.
May
The place to be! Sober or drunk, damn those servicing sizes will make you sweat.
Ash K
This place is great. We were seated quickly, the coffee and food were great, and the service was quite pleasant. I didn't have the omelette but I was told that the eggs were delightfully fluffy, which helped my friend eat all 6 eggs. The ham steak was thick and charred well, and my eggs were cooked just how I liked them. Parking is very difficult, but so worth the hassle.
Michael U
This place is fantastic. I did a search on Google Maps for any restaurants open at 4am near the project on which I was working. Beth's Cafe came up as a hit that was maybe not the closest, but it was along my way and I'd never been before. I ordered bacon and eggs. It came out with 4 rashers of thick cut bacon, perfectly prepared crispy. The eggs which I'd ordered over very easy, were served exactly that way, soft yolk firm whites; they had sour dough bread for toast, and a mound of hash browns. Sum total it was more than I could eat. There only reason I withheld a star from 5, is because the hash browns weren't fried quite long enough. They were tepid in the middle and not at all crispy on the outer surface. Easily rectified. I'll be going back for sure, and probably at about the same time of day.
M. L. Venema
I've loved this place since I was a teen. Moderately cheap food, HUGE portions - this guy goes home happy with 3 pancakes in him because they're the size of a dinner plate and 1cm thick! Here's to hoping Beth's will always be around!
The only thing going that's changed since I was a teen is no more clouds of cigarette smoke everywhere which is a MAJOR improvement
Steve Cragar
Food coma breakfast stop.
There is always a wait and it's always worth it.
Bring your art supplies and add to the walls of art.
It's a fun way to pass the time and leave your mark on this Diner.
The proportions are insane, so come hungry.
The staff is always friendly.
A must see before walking off the food coma around Green lake.
Beth's was also featured in Man vs Food.
They have some crazy omelettes.
I've never been let down by my experience here.

Who doesn’t love a good breakfast? I discovered this place a few years ago while in Seattle on business. I try to make a pit stop here for breakfast whenever I’m in town now. Great service, food comes out fast and hot. They won’t win any awards for the decor or choice in furniture but hey who the hell cares. Huge portions, fresh food, and friendly service. We had a 10hr layover traveling from Alaska, I had to introduce my boys to Beth’s Cafe.
Candice Landry
Great food. The twelve egg omlet fed my family of three for two meals. The waitress was friendly. The food came out quickly and it was hot!
Customers are able to participate in decorating the walls of the restaurant via drawing pictures that get hung on the walls. Although, I wonder how often the walls are wiped down etc.
Rayne Ynari
We ordered the Midtown Duo( you can choose any 2 benedicts) Yummmm...
Seattle - Everything Bagel, cream cheese, lox, capers, cream cheese, pickled red onion and topped with poached egg, hollandaise aBeth's Cafe- Handmade with avocado and poached egg.
The roasted potatoes were fresh with great flavor and fresh dill had a little crunch to then that we liked, not soggy.
Scott Amsden-Smith
One of those places you absolutely have to experience in Seattle. Famous for its 6 and 12 egg omelettes, you can also get other food there as well. Food that is not quite in such large portions. That said, if you wanted wonderful omelette have one of them. the meats and cheeses are wonderful that they use in them. And they treat everybody like family. Family that likes loud music but family none the less. It is one of the best places you can go anytime and just get a smile from your waitress or if you happen to be sitting at the counter some great conversation with a cook. I have gone back many times and will continue to do so.
Michael (M.D.)
The service was terrible! Our server never came to see if our food was good. Ordered a side of hash browns, and it was very over cooked. Can't believe the server brought that to our table, let alone the cook putting them on a plate for service! I worked in food service for over 20 years. And that was not a good experience. The food was great other than that.
Tom Kuehl
Great place. Huge portions at a great price. When we travel we like to find the local hole in the wall. Homemade biscuits are soft and flakey, perfect with jam and butter. They offer bottomless hashbrowns, but I doubt you will need them with size of the omelettes they serve. The staff was very helpful in providing local information.
Ashleigh Long
Great staff! Great portions! Great food! I got so much food that I couldn’t even eat all of it. My eyes were too big for my stomach. Got “2” biscuits and gravy ended up being two GIANT halved biscuits, which looked more like 4!! I called quits after one lol had a bagel with cream cheese, some of my boyfriends omelette with sour cream, and sourdough toast!! Totally recommend this hole in the wall.
Beverly Poole
Beth's is a Seattle staple. Whether you are going there for breakfast on a lazy Sunday morning, or grabbing a table after a night of partying it is the perfect place to grab some wonderful greasy diner food. Everyone knows about their world famous omelettes, but I would love to recommend their Amish bread, and their amazing hash browns... Pretty much everything that I have tried there is good. Be warned, the space and the staff has plenty of personality, so only go if you don't treat wait staff like your own personal servant. If you remember that rule, Beth's is a wonderful place.
Roland Davis
The food was amazing. The staff was very fun and friendly. Loved the artwork everywhere.
The sasuage had great flavor and my eggs (over easy) were cooked perfectly.oh, and they were super fast!
Randy Oakley
It's a Seattle classic. Service was fine and food was good. Bacon done just right and over easy eggs nice and runny. Bring a very empty stomach or a friend to share with for the 12 egg omelet. I got two eggs and bacon, with their hash browns and toast is plenty for me.
Philip Wismer
Loved the 6 omelet and the manager Clint is great and friendly,
Kaitlyn Surber
Good food. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have gotten food poisening here once before, I'm 100% positive of this. (Hence the 3 stars) I love the environment of coloring pictures, and the pictures all over the walls. Inviting for families with children. I recommend the French toast!
Carmell Blue-White
OMG!! Excellent service. Server was the best- patient, suggestive and knew the menu and what the customer wants. The food was even better - French toast amazing and pancakes phenomenal.
Sam Dox
Huge breakfast! Real hole in the wall. The food is excellent! Couldn't finish the 12 egg omelette, definitely tasty and we'll priced. Staff was very friendly and checked up on our table frequently. I will definitely be going back. Thanks for the great service!
Zach McElwain
Great breakfast in a unique greasy spoon environment. Hundreds of hand drawn pictures decorate the walls of this old eatery which make for a fun time whole eating. Always worth a visit, just don't judge it without trying it because it does not look like a place most people would want to eat but if you try it, you'll be back again.
Foo
Great atmosphere. Punk rock cafe if you're into that thing. Food wasn't better than your typical diner, which was disappointing considering how locally famous this restaurant is. Old building; comes with the occasional spider or insect, but it's an old building and goes with the atmosphere.
Kevin Glover
The food here is always good! Damn near more than you can eat if you stick with the six egg omelette! It's the company that can be a turn-off. You should be able to have a tolerance for high or drunk people that come to feed. I thought it was great entertainment.I was okay with it, but I could clearly see that some people or not or obviously not from Seattle!
Tommy Gonzalez
This place is top notch. The service is outstanding The prices are well worth the super size servings that you get. From a 13 egg omlete to huge pancakes and french toast to manly size hamburgers. They have it all. All you can eat hash browns to boot. I can't say enough about this place. You won't be disappointed.
LANDON SCOTT
I ordered the Bagel Sandwich with a side of biscuits and gravy. I was blown away with the quality of the food as well as the customer service. Beth's Café is normally packed in the morning due to their kick ass breakfast food but I was greeted promptly and sat down where I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. 10/10 experience.
Pamela and Michael Oliver
After an evening event in Ballard I was looking for a place that made a classic diner stack of pancakes so I found Beth's on the Internet. The reviews were great so my wife and I checked it out. She had hash browns and gravy and I got the short stack and both were terrific! That said, we are country mice used to a G-rated offering and Beth's is decidedly an R. The staff is young, colorful, uncensored and there is plenty of drama. Just a head's up for the faint of heart. However, the tables and place settings are clean, the food was great and came out quickly and I HAVE to go back to try one of their 6 to 12 egg omelettes, so don't mistake my caveat for a bad review.
Jacob
Beth's Café is Home to the 12 Egg Omlett and many other dishes that are Absolutely tasty. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and they have very large portions, the homestyle potatoes are excellent, and the Biscuits and Gravy is a specialty of their's. Just all about good food and company. Keep it up and see you soon. 🤙😋🤙 …
Julio Lamar
Came off a recommendation from a friend. As with recommendations I tend to read reviews of the place before I make a decision. At first glance in Google it looked fine but here Yelp it was a mere 3.5 stars.
Only recommendation I got was their opinion between the country fried steak and the sampler. Went with the country fried steak and it didn't disappoint. Hearty portion and it came out lightning fast.
Conner Biniek
Good place, great food with a whole lotta personality. My coffee was never empty and my plate was bigger than my face. Hash browns were greasy in the best of ways. Corn beef hash had tons of flavor and did not dissapoint. Thanks for a great breakfast.
Matt Toeller
Food is awesome! They have the best omelettes and hash browns. Their cornbeef hash is fresh and tasty. Their Philly cheese steak sandwich is the best I've had in a long time! They have great service and the atmosphere is friendly. I highly recommend Beth's to everyone!
Erica Andersen
In visiting from Wisconsin went to Beth's for a late night dinner. Great food and atmosphere. Wait staff is incredible and handled my large group amazingly. Biggest omelet I have ever seen verry tasty as well!
Stephenie Aldoren Borgförð
They always say ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’. Beth’s is a great example. It looks like a real dive but the food is great. Portion sizes are rather huge and I mean huge. I ordered a cinnamon roll and needed a steak knife to get thru it! Very delicious and likely very calorific!! Definitely a must try in Seattle, especially if u like omelettes!!
Zach W
Beth's has good food, good service, and good coffee. We got a table right away and our food came quickly. Sometimes there can be a long wait if you come during a lunch or dinner rush, but that's par for any diner. Also, Beth's distinguishes itself by decorating the walls and menus with art drawn by customers, so there are a lot of interesting things to look at while chatting over a meal. Parking in rear. Prices reasonable. Would recommend to anyone who is not a food snob.
Adonis El-Mohtar, MFA
So happy they are open and food is served for seated patrons as well as pickup. The food is delicious , the service is wonderful. The Coffee and french fries are spot on good..Thank you Clint and the rest of the crew🙏🙏 …
Savanna S
Staff are so amazing, the artwork everyone does and puts on the walls are so cool!
The food is second to none. The chicken fried steak and the waffles are to die for.
I have been going to beths for years and have never been disappointed!
Julia Nichol
The food is great, but bring your and a buddy's appetite the amount of food is massive. I split the North West omelet and still had enough for a another meal for the both of us. The balance of salmon, cream cheese, and green onions is perfect . The toast was slathered in butter.... Yum!
kohlton owens
The experience is alright the food is yummy and the art on the wall make this place really unique. The service isn't that fantastic a bit slow and at least the people I've had the couple times I've been there dont seem to have any enthusiasm or they make it seem like you're almost an annoyance. But other than that it's a cool place to go if your around the area.
Greg Shank
This is a fun place with all the zany customer drawn pictures all over the walls and amiable wait staff. Four of us shared the 12 egg all- meat omelette, that includes unlimited hash browns. It was more than enough food and prepared very well. Served on a pizza platter it's so big! I wish we lived closer so we could go more often.
Megan Morris
Food was pretty good- if I find my myself in the area and hungry, I may go again, but the atmosphere was kind of weird. The 80s hits made me feel at home and both uncomfortable! Hard to explain. I got the "six fiddy" shake, and my only complaint was that the brownies inside of if were stale.. I literally called it something that I would eat at my grandma's house, which is both comforting and awkward? However you want to take it really.
Melissa Weber
I go to Beth's all the time and I've yet to have a negative experience. There was one occasion where it took slightly longer for us to receive our bill and to-go boxes but it was nothing that was outrageous. I've loved this place since I first started going. Would definitely recommend!
Khine K.
A very unique place! Amazing service and omelettes. Gigantic servings. Two of us could not finish a 6-egg omelette. The crayons brought out the artists in us. Loved the drawings on the wall.
Mary Carney
This place is a great greasy spoon diner. This is how I could imagine Seattle grunge felt like before the new gen Amazon drones moved in. The food is good, and the milkshakes are SO DAMN GOOD. If you're brave enough or hungry enough,to you can order a 12 egg omelette. 12 eggs. A full dozen. Insane. Be sure to enjoy the art on the walls.
Erica
Always, always amazing diner food from the same tasty seasoned cast iron skillets. Open 24/7 with some badass servers. Local raspberry jam is a must. Will you leave with Leftovers? Let's see!
Deborah Nelson
Haven't been here since 2000, and it is still the same "cool place" I remember as a teen. The food is legit comfort food, the staff still appear to be people you wish you were cool enough to hangout with and the waiting art on the walls makes you wish you had artisic talent to be captured in Crayola form. Nothing fancy here, just greasy spoon grub. Perfect for after concerts or a night on the town.
Anthony “zPREACHERz” Beede
Always awesome place to go to, I love going here before hanging out downtown and enjoying the surroundings. Its the beginning to the Seattle Journey. You have to make time for Beth's Cafe before heading to Seattle. I would of gave a full 5-Stars but the bathrooms for sure could use some work. Being clean and especially next to the waiting room to be seated isn't exactly what people wanna see or smell before eating. (Just my opinion)
Chad W. Campbell
What can I say, I've been coming into Beth's for years, and everyone is always easy going, nice, and professional. My son has contributed to the wall art on several occasions. Breakfast here? Always classic, and top notch. Get here early in the morning on Sat & Sun to avoid the long wait for a table. Thanks Chris & John, Seattle still needs you!

The food tasted great and was a fantastic size! I personally got the Breakfast Burrito without jalapeños and I absolutely loved it! I got filled up from that with the side of hashbrowns!
sherry Freels
The food is amazing you will never leave hungry if you do it's your fault the helpings are to say the least HUGE !! The crew are young and energetic, they do an incredible job and the food is delicious. The walls are covered in what looks like children's drawings, very unique. Give it a try you won't regret it.
Burhan Nurdin
Love coming here. Honestly the best place to eat anytime of the day! I've been here a handful of times and each time was an awesome experience. Also if you love eggs, you have to try out their 12 egg omelette. Even if you don't finish it, it will last you a whole day as leftovers.
Dorothy Dutcher
Nice to visit a few times a year. But if you're a vegetarian beware... I do not believe they cook their veggie scrambles in a separate pan from their meats. My daughter got extremely ill after eating there from all the butter and cheese and meat products that had been in the pan her meal was cooked in. Although my mini breakfast was great!
Jessica M
My husband and I shared the triple bypass omelet and added some sour cream. It was by far the best omelet I have ever had. I got a side of French toast as well. The best! It had the perfect mount of everything. Not too soggy. Not too much cinnamon. Delicious! Five stars for the food! Very Friendly staff.

To me this is the real Seattle, classic American Diner style breakfasts served by waitresses with a good understanding of how to serve without being subservient. If you need something to do while you are waiting for your food, they are happy to provide paper and crayons. Gigantic meals are available if you are really hungry and let me repeat, the food is really good.
Kerry
Decent diner food at a decent price. The staff are friendly and the place has a cool Indie kind of feeling with artwork from the customers put up all over the walls. They are open late and it is a popular spot to grab a late night bite. I personally spent many an hour there during high school, smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee.

Food is just incredible. Open 24hours so drop in whenever the hell you are in the area. The atmosphere is interesting. The inside is covered with hand drawn pictures of the most random things ever. Some of the pictures are so good they put them into their menus art. 9/9
April Patterson
I have been waiting to come here for years!!!Finally made my way from Florida to eat there and it was awesome.
Adam Howard
Stopped by for brunch. It's a small place so there may be a line but worth the wait. I had crab Benedict it was tasty with crab and avacado. Also had one of their fresh juice selections. That was very good. Topped it off with a latte. Prices are reasonable and portions are just right.
Rosanne Williamson
It was very nice I was surprised I was so hungry I order a chocolate milkshake and a veggie omelet. I had enough to eat for two meals .when I bought it home I gave some to my kitten Radar. Radar loved it. So I guess I should say three meals and yes I should also mention they added sausage also it was a very nice combination.
Vinh Lu (Vinhgetsin)
Came here because they were opened somewhat early. The portions were huge. We got one to share with a table of 7. The omelet with the bacon and the stuff was pretty good. It came with unlimited hashbrowns, those were mediocre. They had a variety of hot sauces, that made it a fun experience
Brad Clark
I stumbled upon this place while traveling to a different location. I saw their sign, "Stop here, or we'll both starve" and knew I had to come back that way after my errand. This place was amazing. Small. Homey. Chaotic. It reminded me of one of my past favorites in Charlotte, NC and I immediately felt at ease here. Staff is friendly as can be, just be careful to watch your surroundings, it is tight in there and the staff moves very quickly. Sit at the counter to get a first hand view of the 12 egg omelettes they make, it is a sight to be seen.
Duke
A real gem in Seattle's Fremont area!
The blueberry they used for their pancakes and waffles were phenomenal and went really well with their fluffy friends!
I usually order what's in season and was not disappointed by what was offered. I'm definitely coming back!
Laszlo Horvath
I don't think of this place as a "greasy spoon place," maybe I'm ordering the wrong meals. Great Cafe food. Great sized portions, great flavor in the food, can't say enough good things about the friendly staff who "actually" cared about the 5 star ⭐️ service along with their smiles. I brought a friend and he was quite impressed, we'll be back very soon. Thank you!
Keith Vowell
Classic late night bar food. Great portions for the pricing!
Melissa Harris
Came here with my husband for breakfast. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Which was so good and had big generous portions. He ordered one of their 12 egg omelettes. This man has a large appetite and was able to take this home and divide it into two other meals!
Jennifer Goddard-Crain
Well I went at about 9:30 at night and it was busy inside.. there was not a line out the door as I have seen it before but it was busy however, a waitress came right over.
The food was delicious and the portion was large enough for me to take home in midnight snack. I'm just disappointed nobody offered me a page to color on as the walls are covered with colored pictures
Tiahnan Trent
The ultimate greasy spoon: everything was inexpensive, delicious, and hugely portioned. Really low key dining area, which was great to sit and talk for a long time, and the waitress never let my (huge) glass get empty. Diamond in the rough, as long as you like diner food.
13codemeister
I've been going to Beth's off and on since high school. Recently got back into town after living out of state for a few years and visited again tonight. Beth's Cafe never disappoints me. Fantastic atmosphere, food, and an even better staff make this place a 5/5 visit every time.
Jacob Wong
Great service and food came very quickly, even with a large party being served next to us.
Elf Spencer
Creative and relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service. Food is always tasty~
That said, if you have for allergies or sensitivities (wheat/gluten, dairy, or eggs) then this may not be the place for you; the fries are slightly battered for maximum crunchiness, and even the hash browns have butter. So heads-up on that.
Justin Rowland
Oh this place. This glorious, glorious place. This should have a subtitle of "The Cure for the Hangover." It's your typical greasy spoon restaurant with history, memorabilia, and fun staff. The food is delicious and in lovely portions. Went in feeling like death. Left feeling like a million bucks.
Cameron Lowell
We probably all know this place from our college days, or have gone here after a long night of drinking. The omelettes are something else... massive dishes full of cream cheese. Hash browns are pretty good. Diner quality food but I'd definitely come here late night exclusively.
DARALEE “Daylily Diva”
Everything was exactly as we ordered. Steak actually served medium rare, scrambled and over medium eggs cooked perfectly. Bacon is top notch. Raspberry jam was super. Attentive service. We sat in the "cat spoken here" section which was quirky yet entertaining.
Cindi Nelson
Great breakfast! Large omelets that are very tasty. Great service. Excellent food. Every hole in the wall I've ever been to is awesome and Beth's Cafe doesn't disappoint.
Joseph Ejeh
I would recommend Beth’s for night owls. Anyone who stays up terribly late or for the party crowd after a hard night of hard drinking. They serve really good meals and the quantity is intimidating to say the least. Really fast service for such a busy place too. The staff are so friendly I love it.
Amanda Wood
Cute little diner, great service, great food, fast and friendly.
Karla R-B
This was just a crazy & unique place for years before all these shows came out & mentioning it. During college it was a great place to finish off a night of fun. It was crazy trying to see friends & others eat the 36 egg omelet. We always had a blast and the employees were just as crazy, unique, down to earth and fun.
Natalie Frazier
12 egg omelets, is way too big for two people. Good food.
Alex and Stella lemley
Great that there's somewhere to get some grub at hours when getting grub at odd hours is required. However, the coffee was served freezing cold and slicing a single slice of cheesecake wasn't allowed after we just had breakfast so 2 were purchased and daaaaaaang they need a new cheesecake recipe for sure.
Matthew Beck
This is the ultimate in greasy spoons. This place was a typical last stop on a night out. A six egg omelette of a country fried steak is the perfect preventative maintenance if you're risking a serious hangover.
The staff here has always been very friendly in spite of the higher than average time spent with drunk customers. The food is spot on everytime. The prices are reasonable. They have crayons and encourage patrons to share their art.
Michelle M Chappell
Gigantic delicious omelets, need I say more?! Seriously good food and a fun, funky atmosphere. We split the 12 egg triple bypass and couldn't finish it. Everything is great here!
Conor Krystad
Cheap food and very popular with the college crowd. It's also a loose menu you can order what you want and they'll make it for you at a good price. The staff is friendly and the waffles are great.
Be warned if you go too late at night it'll be full of people stoned out of their minds
Zhiming Ke
Good comfort food, American diner style. Seattle prices, especially since they are well known (famous) and popular. Open 24/7 basically never close. So they got you covered for any and all post-celebratory gorging. 12 egg omelettes are a bit much for one person, but great to share!
Six-fiddy shake too.
Maria Quiles
Beth's Cafe. Well worth the wait to enjoy the very filling and satisfying breakfast. I had the eggs and chopped bacon only. It was cooked exactly how I wanted it and was even able to share my bacon with my dad. Trust me there was enough. Their thick cut bacon looked very good too. I will return.
Adam Caldwell
Beth's is a Seattle institution. Lunch foods (especially those involving chili) are quite good, but of course it's breakfast where they shine. My favorite are the "Siders," a plate of hash browns with various topping choices. The "world famous omelettes" are excellent, but since the size choices are 6 or 12 eggs, I have to come to terms with leaving with an uncomfortably full stomach. But it's usually worth it.
The word I would choose for the attitude of the staff is "real." They are polite, civil, and want you to have a good food experience, but you won't get the saccharine groveling that characterizes a majority of restaurants. As for atmosphere, I enjoy looking at customers' crayon art on the walls, and otherwise the furnishings are simple and utilitarian. I just wish they were still allowed to have a smoking section.
"There has never been a sadness that can't be cured by breakfast food." I think Ron Swanson would be happy at Beth's.
Mitch
Great 24 hr diner w/ 12 egg omelettes and good country fried steak. Art on the wall drawn by customers; always fun to look at while waiting for your food to arrive. Friendly staff, loud music! Family friendly
J M
Huge portions, relaxing lighting, and friendly but nonintrusive staff make this the perfect place to have 3am quarter life crisis pancakes. Pricing is super reasonable and the food is very basic diner fare that is very well done.
Dimas Rodriguez
I love Beth's...period. the service is amazing and quirky. Food is unreal. I've been hungover..but honestly...take a book when sober and sit at the bar for awhile. People watching mecca!
Chris Smith
If you're looking for good service and ambiance, don't bother with this place. If you're looking for a true Seattle experience with great food, you've hit the mother lode. This place is truly a dive with the patron produced artwork plastered all over the walls and the best of early 90's Seattle grunge blaring over the stereo system. If you're uncomfortable with pierced, tattooed, surly former(or not) drug users serving you your meal, this is not for you. If you want to soak in the Seattle culture and have one of the best omelets you've ever tasted, I can't emphasize enough how much you're going to love this place. I love the food every time I go and I don't mind the service. On my last visit my server told me that she was new and had gotten yelled at for swapping American cheese for cheddar in someone's order so she wouldn't do that for me. Later in the visit I asked her if she had met Guy Fieri when he had filmed an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives there. She said she'd been working there for 16 years and had never heard of that guy. I'm guessing that she's not a "former" drug user. I gave it four stars primarily for the food. If your personal rating system is based more on service then you'll disagree with my assessment. Like I said, I expect the bad service so it doesn't bother me when I get it
Craig Foster
Get the bacon. I love Beth's. I'm always bringing new friends here and whenever they ask the waiter what to try, they always say, "Bacon". I also love their biscuits and gravy and 6 egg omelettes. You can try the 12, but man, you don't realize how much 12 eggs can be until you see it on a plate that covers half the table. The dining room floor doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned, but as long as the health department doesn't have a problem with them, neither do I! The food is well worth a little dust on the floor.
Michael Bertram
6 or 12 egg omelets are the choices. Went with the hash and eggs and mom had the chili and egg dish. Both meals were delicious, served by a friendly staff. Parking is tricky, try around back. It is a fixture. Loved the kid's artwork all over.
Megan Penrose
Food was great. Large portions. It was pretty loud though with how crowded it was so I couldn't really hear my company talking. Nobody was wearing masks :(
Harrison O'Connell
Delicious at 2 am even with a wait on Friday and Saturday nights. Crayons and the chance to post your work on the walls is cool too if your drunk. Other times it's just a delicious quirky greasy spoon diner with good food.
Lily Masters
Great food and super unique atmosphere. This isn't a place for the faint of heart and the parking was almost impossible. But the omelettes were incredible and our server was super friendly. Could have used a little more attentiveness when it came to bervages though, my water or lemonade never got refilled.
Anna M
Big portions, casual people, and it never closes.
The biscuits and gravy dish is huge, prepare yourself. The pancakes are also extra large too. And this place is good for people watching, especially around 4am :)
Amanda A
Food is so good. I think they're back to being open 24hrs. But seriously, these waffles. I wish I would have tried more things but those waffles were so good.
Q. B.
A 24 hour diner with unlimited hashbrowns - sign me up! I don't have the largest appetite, therefore I appreciate the option to order a smaller portion. I opt for eggs, toast, bacon and hashbrowns. I like to order a side of green onion and sour cream to make it a party. They also have the best raspberry preserves/jam I've ever tasted. The burgers are good as well. Service is quick and the staff seem to have a great time. They even encourage you to draw or color while you're waiting for your meal.
Mary O'Connor
Excellent food and big portion sizes, and so inexpensive that an IHOP bill for one equals a Beth's bill for two, bigger meals. Helpful hints ~ super busy after midnight until 4~5am, and Do not use the bathroom. Free parking in the lot behind the cafe. Fast and friendly service.
Hidy Abramson
Love Beth's! Iconic Seattle... up there with the Space Needle 😁 …
James Scott
We ate at Beth's while working in Seattle and they live up to their name probably the best breakfast I've ever had and I love trying these little places. They always have the best food.
Great Disappointment MY @$$ You must own a near by restaurant huh?
I will be back in Seattle in a few weeks and I will definitely stop back.
Emma Burson
Good food interesting atmosphere.
rose prince
This is a Seattle Legend with appropriate lease early wait staff, delicious eggs, and no parking. There's often a wait and it's often crowded and busy. Locals love it and it's not to be missed. The shakes are excellent. There's drawings all over the walls.
John T. Oliver
Hands down the best day or night spot for super sized grub! My favorite is chicken fried steak, scram bnb led eggs with cheese and green onions, and one super sized pancake! Highly recommend you have the seven dollar shake...as an appetizer!
Jeff Levy
Home of the Man Vs. Food 12-egg omelette. Get the Southern Exposure, with smoked salmon and creme cheese. Amazing. Best cafe in Seattle. Monster-sized portions for a very fair price. The chicken fried steak is middling, but the corn beef hash is astonishingly good.
Austin Kukay
Quirky, delicious, and more food than you should normally eat in one serving. Every time I go I usually get the Southwestern Exposure omelette, but the rest of their food looks amazing. I would go more often if it wasn't far from where I live! Definitely worth a stop.
Judah Ivy
Good prices for simple, filling, and tasty food. Omlettes & hash browns are my favorite. The coffee keeps coming. Open all night, the only place like it in the metropolis. Good place to take the kids if you want to teach them how to interact with drunks.
Kevin Thiesen
Greasy-spoon dive diner, which locals love. The walls are covered with crayon art from previous patrons. The 6-egg omelette was good, but the toast and orange juice was hands down the best I've EVER had.
Robert Smith
This place is overrated. Always popular late night with the drunk crowd as Seattle doesn't have too many traditional diners. Staff is generally surly. I've gone here stone sober and been treated like another dumb drunk. Prices are highish for diner food, but that's what it takes to survive in Seattle. The 12 egg omelettes are good, but you'll regret it if you eat the whole thing in one sitting (speaking from personal experience)
Rachel Knowles
First time coming in. LOVED all the drawings on the walls. Also the music was so weird and awesome. The food was also delicious. The service was pleasant and relaxed, but also attentive and friendly.
Carlos Balderas (The13thSeahawk)
This place is always open, and it definitely has the look and feel of a classic diner. They have excellent breakfast. I had their plate with toast, scrambled eggs, lots of bacon, and some orange juice. They do not disappoint.
LaTasha Robinson-Penilton
Customer service is great which is not always the case these days in many places. Food had big portions, temperature was good and food freshly cooked. Hash browns were delish and cooked perfectly.
Jeremy Jones
A group of people came into the restaraunt, one of them was smoking a cigarette and the rest were rude. The manager kicked them out and stood up for his people. I love this place, great food and amazing staff, 5 stars all day.
Jonathan Hoover
Super cozy, hole in the wall style Cafe. Best hours (24/7) and quirky staff. Ask them for paper and crayons and contribute to their huge collection of customer made wall art while you wait for your meal. My favorite dish is the triple bypass 12 egg omelette, which I split with my best friend whenever we stop in for a meal.
Ray Dar
Beth's offers a dive environment with delicious food that sticks to your bones. Even their small omelettes are big enough to be sharable. But if you are a glutton, go for the GIANT large omelettes. Also, don't miss the colored-crayon drawings stuck to the walls as if the whole place is Mom's refrigerator door.
Florence Tiberius Baker-Gray
This establishment is an institution of great import. That being said, this place is one of those love or hate deals depending on your demographics (age, you bringing kids along or not), the time of day or night you go, what you're looking for in terms of an experience, and more often than not, if you're sober or not.
Caveat, I have never been to this establishment when the sun has been out, so the atmosphere may be different than during the night. But as with all service industry places whether it's McDonald's or a pawn shop, it's a whole different animal when the night rolls around and the more "interesting" consumers come out from their lairs. The thin veneer of patience by the staff vanishes in an instant. You play on their terms. To many more cultured or entitled people, this is a turn off. So I will only speak review it as a recommendation if you visit after the sun goes down or before people start to wake up.
Beth's Cafe is a great place if you're part of a group of drunk high-schoolers coming from a kegger at lower Woodland. I had too many of those nights where as part of a group of friends we would all end up at Beth's to get hashbrowns and whatnot. Back then the food was and still is fantastic, healthy portions (well maybe healthy isnt the right term because the portions are large enough that it becomes unhealthy), but man back in high school, the only complaint we ever had was that the staff was garbage. Rude and impatient. Looking back now as they had to deal with a bunch of drunk loud dudes, we kinda deserved it.
But that was part of the charm that made our experiences there so great. We were fairly treated and it served to demonstrate the philosophy of the place. You go to Beth's not to be catered to on bended knee, but to experience something uncompromising in it's values. The place does not change for the customer beyond maybe on an order, the customer has to change their expectations for the restaurant. And that is what makes the place great. The place isn't the most spick and span place, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
As I have occasionally gone back both alone or with an old acquaintance, we will sit at the bar. We will talk amongst ourselves as we watch the cook make the food for the orders coming in. The waiters and waitresses seem joyful to only have to cater to us as a small momentary respite from the other room full of rowdy drunk high school students. Their table service is great with a curt manner that is terse but respectful. Neither party wishes to waste the air with empty pleasantries beyond a brief "how is your evening going?" That is all that needs to be said, anything more would be superfluous.
Food is made with a careless precision and respect for the food that is riveting to watch. The food is always fantastic. My usual go to is the six-egg Northwestern Exposure or the Makin' Bacon. Never have I been less than highly pleased.
In short, Beth's Cafe during the night is a great experience if you're willing to allow yourself to become whelmed with the grungy setting, the busy staff, and the group of high-schoolers who managed to get drunk off of six-pack of O'douls. The food is always great, and the experience can also be if you know what to look for.
Oh'Damn
Old School home made style food. Large portions, decent prices. Good place for a Late night Chow Down, People watching Session. Don't forget to Doodle on their wall 😉 …
Amy Engstrom
My boyfriend has been talking about this place for years, and finally going was so satisfying. Wonderful food, wonderful service. Did not even attempt the giant omelet.
Henry Apfel
Five stars, you say? For a 24hr diner?
Look, Beth's isn't just a diner; it's an institution. You go there, possibly inebriated, possibly hungover, possibly a bit of both, and you order massive quantities of carbs, fats, and proteins and entirely too many cups of coffee, and you marvel at the cool stuff on the walls and maybe do some people-watching, and then you stagger home in a kind of greasy tranquility. That's what Beth's is there for, and it delivers admirably. It has, as they say, character.
Sharon Nichols
Beths cafe is one of the best places I have ever been to eat and enjoy family time. The coloring/drawing while you wait or just looking at the random visitors art work is an added bonus and helps with the wait time between ordering and eating, my family and I love it and can't wait to return for omelets! The wait time to get in on some days sucks but it is worth it in the end.
Daniel C
Went with friends for afternoon breakfast this week. The food was standard American breakfast fare. Totally liked it. But the entertaining part was the wait staff. They had one spot right next to our table where they would have to make a noise or say "corner!" so they wouldn't run into each other. But one woman had us laughing. Each time she walked by she'd go "meow". Sometimes "meow meow" and she almost sounded like the real thing. I think she knew we were laughing so she played it up. One of the most entertaining meals out I've ever had. Plus it's "BIG food". Huge servings. Great place. Hadn't been there since the 1970's. Glad it's still open.
Craig R
Beth's Cafe is always top of my list for a great meal. It's an iconic Seattle landmark that truly delivers if you're looking for an amazing meal. It's one of the few "old school" traditional Café diners left in existence today. Their omelets are some of the best around. Grab a group of friends and order the 13 egg omelet with unlimited hashbrowns! You can't go wrong with a Patty Melt with Fries. They've got awesome handmade Milkshakes and these gigantic Cinnamon Rolls that won't disappoint. Whether you were out late at night or just stopping in for breakfast, Beth's is a great spot.
Jacob Espy
Food is always good, and so is the service. Cleanliness is an issue. 3/5
7/20/2021 EDIT: The coffee tastes more nuanced and the food seems better than before. I'm sad the walls are bare, but the food is better. +1
Infamous “Infamous” Victoria
My husband and I just discovered Beth's Cafe on 3/10/20 we are Fan's our new favorite place. We had the Makin Bacon omelet 6 eggs and shared it because it's Huge and strawberry pancakes, strawberry French toast, a chocolate & strawberry shake and a strawberry shake which at the bottom had strawberries omg goodness. We will be back soon
Daniel&Brianna Underwood&Buss
Great place to eat especially if you are hungry. Here are six and 12 egg omelette big pancakes and everything it just prepared great just for you. And the service is fast some days you might have to stand in line going around the block so get there early.
Michael Fedorsha
Since Im on a diet I only had Two eggs and bacon, both cooked near perfect. I'm knocking 2 🌟's off because the fact that it took about 40 min for two entrees. It wasn't even that crowded. The second star because of how disgusting the bathroom was. I understand that the appeal is it's grimy, no frills ambiance but there is no reason to have disgusting bathrooms with 4 different species of flying insects and floors that are sticky from old urine.
Alexandre Kristjansson
God. They're closing it. The best trailer park food in Seattle. Maybe the ONLY trailer park food left at all. It's not gourmet, it's not healthy. It's Beth's Cafe. And I'm very, very sorry to see it go. First date with my first husband there... He splurged, as much as you can there, and bought the ginormous Velveeta cheese mushroom omelet for me. ♥️ I'm very sad.
Paul Dean
This place has changed.
In the late 70's it sported a darker atmosphere. It was a hangout for UW frats, bikers at times, and alternate lifestyle people (I recall 2 Wiccan waitresses). In the mid to late 80's, perhaps early 90's the wall portraits were less dark (or perhaps I should say stark), there was a minor renovation, and the college students were a constant commodity.
Today it has moved 180° from the 80's. Crayon portraits adorned the walls. Some declared they had traveled here to visit Beth's since it was showcased on a foodie program. Clientele was mostly middle class. And, as usual, it was very busy.
I miss the heavy, white coffee cups. I cannot help but reminisce over the old, heavily pierced/tatted/costumed wait staff. But, Beth's has still managed to hold on and deliver fine omelettes, strong coffee, with aplomb.
Marii C (Marii)
I missed you Beth's. This place is so good. The food is perfect and delicious and the staff are fun and friendly. 10000/10
Brian Grimmer
Beth's Cafe is unique in Seattle. The Cafe's atmosphere is kinda reminiscent of the best parts of Portland-weird.
The walls are coated in the artwork of it's patrons who can color and draw as they dine using provided paper and crayons. Grumpy Cat peeks at you from various points in the restaurant with his (her) witty memes.
Portion sizes at Beth's are enormous. A 6 or 12-egg omelette lays on a pizza pan bed of hash browns. If you leave hungry, it's your fault as the hash browns are all-you-can-eat.
The coffee is strong and hot. A little pitcher of half and half is provided. On the table, you'll find a true sugar dispenser. The shakes are thick and rich. The biscuits and gravy will feed two!
Prices: be warned that there's a little bit of sticker shock when you review the menu. At least until you see the sheer size of the plates as they are delivered to the table. Knowing this, there's a $1.75 charge if you want to share a plate. Not bad for all you can eat hash browns.
Fortunately we came to Beth's during Seattle's 2019 Snowmageddon, so there was no wait. However, I was told that there is usually a line of hungry patrons waiting outside the building on most days.
I plan on returning to Beth's Cafe. It's definitely a breakfast go-to in North Seattle. I'd give six 🌟 if I could.
Donald Wickman
A true Seattle staple. Anytime of day, but best after a night of drinking.
Fantastic greasy food.
Remember to be nice to your servers. Beth's servers have to deal with a lot of drunk a-holes, don't be one of them.
Erin Anderson
The epitome of the all night breakfast diner. A staple of the Seattle area for good reason. The omelets are absolutely amazing, as well as being ridiculously huge. (That's their schtick.) I am not normally a big omelet person, but I will tear through their Southwestern Exposure (chili, cheese, sour cream) or Northwestern Exposure (salmon, cream cheese, green onion). They also have traditional breakfast staples, which are solid.
Wait times can get a little long during normal breakfast hours, especially on the weekends, but it is a small location. Open 24 hours, they're worth checking out at any time of day.
Natalie Logan
Beths is an iconic Seattle breakfast joint. Highly recommend going at an odd hour (between 1 and 5am), because that's going to be the most iconic experience. Otherwise, the drawings are entertaining and it's fun to see if your drawing ended up in a menu next time you check it out!
Felicia Bowens
Loved the food.. The service is good. Food just puts you to sleep. Nice big pancakes big omelettes big burgers. Thank was good. But they could use a little less drawings on the wall.
Naz A
This is my 2ND trip to Beth's in Seattle. I pass through when I go to California. Came the first time about 6 years ago. Food is okay. Portions are huge!! Ordered the breakfast burrito amongst other items. It was so big that you couldn't hold it without it falling apart which made it hard for the kids to eat. When I came the 1St time, the biscuits were so darn delicious. This time around the biscuits looked really yellow and they were so huge that they looked like Yorkshire puddings instead of traditional biscuits. Their homemade jam still doesn't disappoint.
Also ordered the chili burger which had real chunks of meat instead of ground beef which was good. There's no way to eat it as a burger (too big and messy) so had to knife n fork it. Hash browns are very yummy.
Beth's is famous for its omelettes. Smallest is 3 eggs and goes up to 12 eggs! I hadn't the guts to try it tho.
For a diner spot, All in all, a great experience. Staff is friendly and attentive.
I enjoy looking at all the drawings that patrons tape to the wall. There's always something interesting to read!o
Jason Axley
It is much nicer inside than you might gather from looking through the window. Portions are HUGE (plate-size pancakes are why 2 pancakes substitute for 3 french toast). I had the breakfast burrito and it was tasty. I couldn't finish it. Coffee was typical diner coffee. Filled us up but probably don't need to go back.
Erin Lockleer
Best breakfast joint around! From an amazing crew to a fun atmosphere Beth's is all around my favorite hangover cure or occasionally middle of the night munchie stop! Be prepared for a long wait of you come at a peak time, but its worth it!!!!

Beth's is a Seattle classic. There is no shortage of locals, coffee, and eggs. It is open 24 hours and therefor is not only great for breakfast and brunch, but also a good late night stop after the bar. If you are looking for fancy or "modern" cuisine you wont find it here, and for good reason. Classic, unchanging, incredibly satisfying american breakfast. Oh, there are also pinball games while you wait for the bathroom. Nice touch.

Delicious food and very kind staff. You really cannot go wrong. Just be sure to bring your appetite because these are proper hearty portions. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and even when they're wicked busy you dont feel super pressured to get out
Dana Lashbaugh
We ordered a 12 egg omelette with ham, sausage, bacon, chili, cheddar, and all the veggies. Food was served very timely and it tasted great. They forgot the sour cream though. The price has gone up since last time, it came to $64 with tax.
Lina Briones
We ate at Beth's Cafe during our visit to Seattle and the food was DELICIOUS. The ONLY thing I was not too happy about is that the place was EXTREMELY cold (went in October). I was wearing layers of clothe and a jacket, but it was still very cold inside the restaurant. I felt I had to eat in a rush, just to finish eating quickly and get back to the car and warm up with the heater.
David Malekar
Good food and large selection to choose from. Nice that it's open late. Very busy on the weekend nights, possible 15 minute wait or so. Their take on the cheese steak is good; made with Roast Beef.
Adrienne Ladd
Beth's Cafe is one of the must goes for any who visit Seattle, and a wonderful place for locals as well. It is always busy despite being open 24/7 so come with extra time, but you get your food in a timely and quick fashion. The food is absolutely a blast, some of the best americano breakfast I have had and in large portions that are very generous for the price in Seattle. Ask for the sweet bread, or friendship bread (it has an actual name but it was introduced to me that way and will always be so) for some great sweet bread, it has the texture and consistency of banana bread but is unique with its mix of spices. One of the most interesting things about Beth's is that coloring isnt just for children but all ages and they will gladly give you crayon and paper to add to the walls with your drawing, as every surface that can be has a customer's drawing. Skill and talent of all ranges are displayed proudly. So if you want the warmest and friendliest place to eat in Seattle, Beth's Cafe is the best anywhere I have ever been.

Super good food and the walls are lined with the communities art and it's awesome. Only down side is there was like a 20 minute wait time to get a table but they were packed and it was definitely worth the wait.
Joey D
I can't give a review of this place that would actually sum up how truly awesome it is. Fantastic service, PERFECT FRIGGIN OMELETS...the six egg 'nw exposure' with smoked salmon, cream cheese, and green onions, on a bed of perfectly cooked hash browns, is the bomb tickey bomb bomb...best thing this side of any heaven out there. Be aware, loud punk rock music on is the norm. Open 24 hours. That kind of place. You'd do yourself a favor to pay a visit soon.
Cody Bradwell (Woodworking Imp)
Sooo much food!! The walls are covered with crayon artwork created by customers and staff. It is such a welcoming spot. Definitely end the night/date at Beth's Cafe!!
Scott Nerger
This is the best breakfast in Seattle! The portions are huge, and all breakfast meals come with all you can eat hashbrowns. The staff is fun and very nice. Don't forget to color a picture and hang it on the wall!
steven wright
Totally love his place will eat there until they run me out!!!
Jessie Rizzo
What a wonderful surprise. What most people would call a hole in the wall diner was an amazing breakfast. The food was delicious, the raspberry jam I want to eat my weight worth.
Definitely a must stop in Seattle!
Bruce Beauchamp
A classic 24 hour dive cafe; sort of a cultural experience just being there. Great food & large portions. The unlimited hashbrowns were a treat. Left there feeling stuffed. I'll be back.
Douglas
Good enough for what it's for.
Fun dive atmosphere and AMPLE portions. SOME of the hipster waitstaff way too pretentious for where they are and what they do. For a similar food experience with superior service I suggest Wild Mountain Cafe which is close by on 85th. See my reviews for Easy Street in West Seattle, or Pancake Chef near Seatac for my favorite diner-style Seattle breakfast experiences.

The food is delicious, service is outstanding. Very friendly upbeat staff, fun place. Good prices, money well spent.
Grindolf :D
We went during a weekday so not very busy, I saw the place from Man Vs Food and I have to say the food is amazing. The omelette was the most perfect one I've ever had and the chilli was perfect with it. The staff was great and friendly the atmosphere is very laid back and friendly this place is great.
Brennan Jeffers
Awesome and unique vibe with good food and friendly staff. Took a little long to order but probably because it was 1:30am and they were still busy. Definitely recommend stopping in at any hour of the day! Plus, fantastic shakes!
Matt Knight
The ambiance was the best part. Dive bar meets breakfast diner. (no alcohol served here) Huge, tasty portions for good prices. As a picky southerner, I can say I will be visiting again!
Jordan Barr
This place is amazing! Loud music, fun times, drawing, amazing food, and all at 3am?! What could be better. Gotta get a friend and go for the 12 egg omelet! Take the challenge...And while your waiting for all 12 eggs, draw a picture and put it on the wall. Such a fun place.
Joe Rodgers
The prices have changed, but everything else about this place has stayed the same since I first came to Seattle 40 years ago. When everything else closes down at 9:00, Beth's is the one place you can go for comfort food. Bottomless hash browns are unheard of anywhere else. It's one of a kind.
Thomas Ho
Gigantic portions and fairly priced. The service was also excellent. My only complaint is that the American cheese was very liquid and not empty like a quality cheese. Seemed like cheap Kraft american cheese. I also barely had any mushrooms in my omlette. It was still good none the less. Don't go here if your trying to stay healthy. Plenty of butter and grease.
Jarrod McNorvell
So much food! Really great service too. Friendly staff and social distancing, masks required etc. Certainly doing their best to keep you safe, fed and happy. Keep it up people.
Shaun Hall
The breakfast food is always good. Service was quick and efficient. It was a pleasant experience. Try to avoid peak hours early breakfast or late night on weekends. The wait is longer. This place is a Seattle classic.
Johanna So
I ordered the waffle with strawberry toppings. It's very delicious. My boyfriend ordered the corn beef with harsh brown. The corn beef has a special spices. I don't like it but my bf does. I think the harsh brown is not salty enough but taste good when eat it with the corn beef.
However, the coffee sucks. Me and my bf love coffee and usually drink a ton. But this time, we didn't drink more than 2 cups.
Josephine Celt
I've been going to Beth's since I was 14 or 15. One of very few places open 24 hours and available to all ages. Great coffee, food and atmophere. And they put your artwork on the walls, fun for any age.
Marina Ivy-Mars
Good. Buttery. Thin omelettes. Crispy hash browns.
Kaelyn Guertin
Beth's is a great restaurant for those of us that are running low on cash. Food is okay, but the atmosphere is stupendous. Quite possibly my all time fav cheap diner.
Wyatt M Wilson
It was average, prices little too high for what was offered. Too many restaurant choices out there not to adjust prices and quality. I get it is a local hangout and hipster place. Yet im not a local so I have no connection to the place, so if I base it on quality, Ive tasted so much better 24 hour diners places across the country.
Gunnar Onarheim
Beth's is a must-try locale for round-the-clock dining in Seattle. They're famous for their twelve-egg omelette, which is a monster of an experience; the food here is on the heavy side, which makes this even more of a challenge.
Most patrons tend to choose from the comprehensive breakfast menu where you'll get unlimited, perfectly crisp hashbrowns as a side. Shakes and desserts are also on the table here.
Portions here are a good size, even if you're not going for a jumbo experience. You'll find yourself coming back time and time again, any hour of day.
Augusto Millevolte
Phenomenal. Quality greasy spoon with old school prices. Service was unfailingly on point. Bottomless hashbrowns hit the spot. I expect I'll be here many times to try some different omelettes.
ALittleBeast
I would eat here every day if I could.
Edit: lowered my rating. Visited today and there was a waitress that meowed loudly EVERY SINGLE TIME she walked past my table. I love this restaurant but dear lord I wanted to murder someone after 5 minutes of this. Still love this place but if that lady is there the next time I visit I'll just go home and starve.
Fatima Thompson
I love this place.
I call it a "greasy spoon" in an affectionate way.
Homestyle menu items, huge portions, decent prices, local servers, patron-created art lines the walls, people are real and decent.
24 hour eatery thst has food with quality that does not change no matter the hour.
My favorite: baked potato with a choice of toppings (about 15 items)
My favorite used to be the "Friggin' Fried Chicken" until people complained that it took too long to arrive at their table (WTActualF????). They don't offer it anymore :-(
Andy Thompson
24 hour restaurant with a greasy spoon feel. The decor and individuals you find there are what makes it memorable more than the food which can be done anywhere. The exceptions are made for the always popular Amish friendship bread. If Beth's could get a remodel and update it would probably re build its place as a Seattle hotspot, otherwise it will eventually be replaced by someone willing to do it better.
Nannette S. Boshart
Oh my, what a wonderful fun experience! The History alone beckons you, but, great food and lots of it? Where else can you get a 12 egg omelette... and homemade corn beef hash? Plus their shakes and makts ate the real deal!!!
Harper Anne
My food came out nice and hot, the pancakes we're HUGE!. There are drawings all over the restaurant walls, which is cool to talk about and look at while waiting for food. Over all it's a nice place.
Jaylin Calhoun-Davis
Beth's is my go-to spot to get breakfast all day/night. The hash browns are truly delicious and always worth a visit. But the not-so silent treasure of Beth's is their eggs. No matter what dish I get, the eggs ARE the star of the show. Oh but they have a jukebox that I never mess around with. Some arcade games if you have to wait for a table/escape a conversation. But the best thing about Beth's is it's consistency.
Sennie Rose
I have been coming here for almost 25 years. Always lovely staff. This day was special because somebody from the East coast placed an order and did not realize they made a mistake. Their mistake turned into a blessing as I was able to take a few bags of food and give them to people whom needed it.
zen grey
It's Beth's Cafe, and it's been Beth's for 65 years. I'm from the future, sorry. The new TOOL album is amazing!
All kidding aside this place is a mainstay for a reason. You'll either get it or you won't. To the owners, bring back the old jukebox. Sometimes it's okay to flip the bird to progress.
Biscuits and gravy, four biscuits, seven bucks. I couldn't finish the last biscuit, I was stuffed. If you're lucky you'll get the meowing waitress. Also, my only ding on this place: if you're lucky the meowing waitress will bring you coffee and water.
Otherwise, it's Beth's Cafe. It's one of the last remaining old school Seattle institutions, and I hope it never dies.
Wayne Wallace
You might be less than impressed by the low rent decor. (Old west meets 1950's, shaken, not stirred, then aged.) However, the food was awesome and plentiful. The children's artwork, crayon drawings as only 4-9 year old children can draw, are taped to every available square inch of the walls. The building is hard to find the first time. It is located on Aurora which means very limited parking. You may have to park off Aurora and walk a block or two. If the standard 6 egg omelette doesn't do the trick feel free to try the 12 egg omelette. Or, try the never-ending hash browns. You won't leave hungry.
geremy condra
Local landmark stripped of its art as a result of covid. A shame, but the food is still as great as ever.
Get the omlettes or the breakfast classics. The chicken fried steak, steak, and corned beef hash are diner-typical, but the eggs, bacon, french toast, waffles, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, bacon, omelettes, cold brew, and bacon are really really good.
Antonia Wilson
I love this place!! I always get the breakfast as you just can't go wrong. The portion sizes seal the deal. You'll always feel at home and leave full at Beth's Cafe.
Morgan Cauthers-Knox
Beth's is the got-to spot when you want a diner ambiance and diner food. They are fantastic at what they do. For to-go orders, they separate the dry stuff (i.e. the waffle) from the wet stuff (i.e. the strawberries/whip cream). Essentially, they give you control over when/if your food gets saturated with the flavoring. Bomb!!!
T MOM (Terry)
Love this place. handicap accessable a few parking spots on the street and a few behind and bathroom is handicap accessible too. Wait staff and Cooks all work together fun place to go you will not leave hungry food is real good. Blueberry pandcake with whipped cream and share a triple bypass omelt my son had a Chile omlet. We all took left overs home Mmm Mmm good. Our friend said they have awesome shakes and deserts too. I would recommend this place to anybody. Very casual fun funky. Bring your hungry teenagers here Enjoy.
Lyndsey Howell
Visiting from Idaho and just googled a good breakfast place. This place is awesome! Really yummy and huge portions. I love all the pictures on the walls, gives the place a lot of character 👍 …
Lauren Walton
Food: divine. Atmosphere: authentic American dining experience. Friendly service. And coloring! 🙂 We were seated relatively quickly and received our food lickity-split, too. …
Candace Hull
Classic diner food. Everything comes with an extra side of grease, so be careful if you gave a sensitive stomach. I feel like this place is more about the atmosphere and "Seattle classic" than the food itself.
Ryan Spring
A great diner experience, and its a huge plus that the establishment stays open 24 hours. I would much rather support a local place like this than some others *cough* Denny's *cough* . A tad expensive, but all of the food is delicious and it's a fun place to be whether you're sober, drunk, or nurturing a hangover
Chris MP
I haven't been here in a while because of a couple of bad customer service experiences. The food is exactly what you would expect it to be which is fine. I kind of have a soft spot in my heart for Beth's because my dad would take us here as kids, but I question why some people are able to get jobs here.
Meghan Naumburg
Crazy large portions, lovely taste. The waitstaff is very friendly, love the attitude, and desire to be precise and helpful.
G M
Big portions, good food, good service, great place. Able to draw pictures as you wait and hang your art work on the wall. I have finished one of the 12 egg omlets, no need for food the rest of the day or the next morning.
Rick Geving
The omelet with salmon was great, the salmon is smoked with cream cheese really good. Parking can be difficult, street parking around back is best. Waiter was very good, a little on the pricy side, however the omelet was cooked perfectly.
Eduardo Santos
Beth's has the traditional breakfast you always crave. Strong coffee and good bacon! Their portions are ridiculously big but doable and of course their hashbrowns are the BEST ever :)
CC Sevex
Rich food to get you through a hard night or the morning after a hard night! The crew is great, drawing is great, peanut butter milkshake is great and the Juke box has a lot of options! I love the character this restaurant holds.
Wyatt Delahunt
Generous portions and being open 24hrs makes this place quite the little diner. If you draw something good enough, they may display it on the walls! Food takes a little bit of time, but it's well worth it.
Food- ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Decor- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service- ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Price- ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I LOVE BETH'S CAFE!!! Maybe I'm a bit bias from working there in the past, when they took me in after moving from Ohio. The staff are wonderful people, the location is well known, parking isn't the greatest, but there's an awesome mural to look at back there. Squished between two bars, it's a great greasy spoon to stop at after a few drinks. But again, it's a greasy spoon, so it's really good at helping, clean you out XD
Robert McClure
Always a five star experience! Great food, great atmosphere, just enough service haha I've been going to Beth's my whole life and will continue as long as their around for me to visit!
Cameron Eckardt
Whenever I go to Beth’s, I feel like I am breaking all kinds of unspoken rules and poking at an unknown culture and vibe that I don’t comprehend. The food is tasty and well done, but honestly not preferable over any other diner staffed by appropriately dressed people.
Daniel Yager
Awesome food, people, and environment. You can't go wrong with Beth's. The environment is geared more towards a very casual young adult setting but most people of any age would probably like it.
max pierce
The food here was amazing. Im said to hear that it will be closing down soon. I hope they open back up after covid. Ill be one of the first in line.
Robert Smedley
This is the kind of place I like to see. Good food and a great atmosphere. The art on the walls is super fun since they give you crayons so you can contribute. Prices are a little higher but worth it.
Rachel McClain
Love this place, service and food is always excellent. Don't expect perfect diner ambiance, it's more like truck stop flair but that's what makes this place great. Truly Can t go wrong with anything you order
Marie Lenac
Classic Seattle spot. Get an omelette. Even if you dont like omelettes, trust me, you will like this one. Eggs perfectly cooked and loaded with goodies they are the best. Not to mention you can stuff yourself to the brim with bottomless hashbrowns. Be ready to be patient because you will have to wait but it's always worth it.
Justin Almeida
Beth's is an iconic greasy spoon found on the historic 99 "Aroura" highway. Tucked along the NW corner of Greenlake, it has a cult like following of locals who talk about the dive-like atmosphere with a sense of nostalgia. The food is perfect for short order simplicity - and the helpings are enormous. Seriously, come with an appetite. If you're visiting Seattle, this is a breakfast place you want to hit before you leave.
Elisa Sun
I fricking love Beth's. It's great at 3am when you're extremely drunk, it's great for the all-nighters during finals week (the coffee is unlimitrd... And so are the hash browns). It's famous for their disgustingly huge omelets and piles of greasy food. Honestly, probably not the greatest place to make a first impression because it's not the fanciest food, but great for close friends and family.
S. Olsen
It's an icon of Seattle, you must try the greasy legendary hash browns. The staff are adorable and quirky. It's a classic hole in the wall feel known for its late night rushes.
John Forrest
For a hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon, Beth's is one of the best! Don't expect fancy table settings or marvelous decor, but that's part of the charm. The walls are covered in customer generated art, and you can you add to it as well. I love going to Beth's for breakfast since it reminds me of diner food I might pick up in a random place on a road trip. Oh, and I'm so glad there's no more smoking in Beth's: first few times I went there, it was clogged in cigarette smoke. Yay, smoking ban!
J M
Fantastic if you are very very hungry or very drunk. It's diner food. You go in the dead of night after a show and ur golden. Pretty sure it's a liminal space.
The food isn't "good" tho, but it's not bad either. Except the milkshakes are bombastic.
Damon Shearer
What is there to say. This is an amazing place that I hope remains here forever and ever! The food is fantastic, the staff is great and I learn something from the ever changing artwork every time I stop in. If you see a big line outside and wonder... YES it's worth the wait, day or night!
Lawrence Holm
Oh Beth's, how I love you, let me count the ways:
1. Your 12 egg omelettes are amazing, and never disappoint. Whether it's to cure a hangover, or go out for Sunday breakfast with the family, they always hit the spot!
2. The buttery, salty, and slightly crunchy deliciousness that is Beth's hashbrowns is cause enough to get excited, but learning that they are free and bottomless with an omelette has me writing poems about them.
3. The pictures on the walls always give us talking points and a few laughs. You have some talented customers!
4. Although you have polished your image over the years, you still remain one of the last bastions of old 90s Seattle. When grunge ruled, and condos were almost nonexistent.
5. All of your food is amazing: from the cheese covered hashbrowns, breakfast burgers, and waffles, to friendship bread and coffee, I am not afraid of occasionally straying from the omelettes because I know I am in good hands.
6. Open 24 hours! It doesnt matter if I'm looking for a hashbrown fix at 3pm or 3am, you're there for me.
Seriously folks, if you haven't tried Beth's Cafe, give them a try.
Jerod Powell
This place is Seattle, a little crazy, a lot weird, ton of fun, food is off the charts. I had one of the best bacon, egg, hash brown sandwiches I've ever had. Great place to eat late at night.
Nadia
Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. I hate waffles and have hated them my entire life, but Beth’s made me absolutely adore them. I would eat here every day if I could.
Travis Law
I've been going to Beth's Cafe in the middle of the night since I was just a little kid. They have never failed to have good food, great atmosphere, tasty coffee, and entertaining scenery. Wether you are a tourist visiting, or you live in the area, Beth's Cafe is a must -have stop on your agenda.
Angela V
Every first Friday in January a bunch of us have breakfast at Beth's. The staff is always so great about accommodating us. Coffee always full. Food delish and serviced quickly. Hashbrowns as perfect as every.
Gabi Sciuchetti
Favorite diner in Seattle! I can't believe I lived in Seattle for years without knowing about Beth's. Their French toast and country fried steak are my personal favorites. Make sure to take advantage of the bottomless hash browns that come with most meals!
