Reviews of Bar Cotto
Really can’t beat $50 for salad, pasta, pizza and a bottle of house wine! The food was fresh, flavorful, and filling. Everything paired so nicely together. The ambiance is dark but in a romantic way. My only complaint is that there is 5-6 tables max, so at times there is certainly a long wait and when I called they did not take reservations. Overall a great date night spot and we will definitely be back.
I really enjoyed myself here. The wine was delicious. We had a bottle of the Abruzzo with Burrata and Spaghetti Meatballs & Ricotta Gnocchi. Only giving four stars instead of five cause I didn’t think the pasta was great. To me it lacked flavor. But still good!
Popped in for a late dinner and we were that table that was so deep in conversation we took forever to order. All the staff were incredibly patient and kind. The food itself was delicious. The olives were wonderful, with orange zest and chili flake making them a unique and surprising bite. The fried Brussels were a favorite, and the focaccia, meatballs, and pizzas didn't disappoint. Will definitely return and recommend to friends. The bill was also surprisingly low at $37 each considering my companions had cocktails and wine and we ordered so much food.
Sonji, the waiter was absolutely amazing! From start to finish the absolute best energy & suggestions. Thank you for making our random Sunday night out, so special :) I appreciate you. The pepperonata pasta was freaking incredible, rich & creamy & oh so balancing with the chili oil. Diavola pizza hot & spicy!!!! FIRE! Thank you thank you! All for $50 WHAT!!!!
The $50 Dinner for Two is one of the best deals in all of Capitol Hill and definitely worth it!
Portion sizes are good, definitely big enough for 2 hungry people.
The Diavola Pizza and the Caesar Salad are absolutely delicious.
The pasta isn’t the best, but the great $50 deal more than makes up for it.
Highly recommend as a (relatively) inexpensive date spot with a great atmosphere and even better service.
The service was great, but the food was just okay. We got the 3 course option. The salad was simple but tasty, the pasta tastes store bought and the sauce was very watery, the pizza was decent and the wine was good for the price. Also, the table outside was partially broken.
$50 for a salad, a whole wood fired pizza, a whole serving of mouth watering pasta, and an entire bottle of wine. It was delicious and way more than we expected. This place is doing everything right. Service was great, Christian was polite and on top of it. We also took home a trifecta of salami for only $18. Tomorrow nights dinner is as good as done. Highly recommended.
This is the best place. Great value, lovely vibes, great bar. So accommodating, we got a huge party in here no issue and they were so sweet. Great place for a birthday happy hour or a cute lil date. Food is so yummy and they have a great deal for 2 with pizza and wine. One of my favorite places in cap hill.
Fun pizza spot on Capital Hill in Seattle, WA. House red wine was quite tasty as was the Salsiccia (sausage) pizza I had on a Tuesday night. I showed up at 6:30 and the place was pretty empty but by the time I was done (an hour later) the place was really hopping. Super sweet server!
Great place for a night out with a date or family. I’ll be back!
One of the best Martinis I have had in a long time! Great service and great food! Love their Pizza, love their cocktails!
Service was great. We had to wait oitside for more than 45 minutes on the weekend because we were a big party. The butrata was delicious but but I didn't like the carbonara pizza.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal and a great vibe!! Everyone here are amazing and friendly menu is very friendly!!!! Come here
So my life partner and I have been coming to bar cotto for about five years. We love it and want to share the reasons why:
1. The food is great. Happy hour munchies are great. And really a cut above the standard bar fare.
2. The wine is great. The standard house red is always great. The specific wines are also awesome. Usually Italian, but I’ve always been delighted with whatever in the offing.
3. Did I mention that the food is great? Salads, finger food, entrees, pasta, pizza, all good. Very much better than the generic “brick oven pizza” you see everywhere.
4. The people are great. The folks who work here are very much the opposite of the surly seattle bartender.
This is our old standby. We love it just as much or more as when we first started coming.
TLDR great place for Manhattan and olives and friendly conversation
Can’t believe I live so close and only went here last week. Everything from the olives to the meatballs was sublime. Super easy-going place with amazing food to boot. Thank you so much to Chris our server for excellent service and recommendations ♥️ ♥️
Solid pasta and okay pizza. The $50 deal is an outstanding value. Salad was good and the house wine is drinkable.
Their $50 for 3 courses and a bottle of wine or two cocktails is great value for date night. The manhattan cocktail I had was quite tasty, and the pesto pizza a favorite
This place is simply phenomenal. Staff is awesome and the food is my favorite in the area. PUT the chili oil on your pasta and pizza, you won’t regret it✨
I’ve been to barcotto a handful of times and every time has been exceptional. The pizza, pasta, and salad are excellent, and the wine is a great deal! Also a great takeout option!
Oh my goodness where do I start? To the deals, customer service, wine and food. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Has great atmosphere, slower dining, wonderful staff and an incredible experience. If you want a fun fine-dining date night without breaking the bank GO HERE!
Easily one of my favorite restaurants as well as one of the best happy hours in Capitol Hill. The restaurant is small with an intimate feel, and the staff and owner are always very friendly. Their happy hour (which they have twice per day everyday, including weekends, open-6:30 and 9-close) offers delicious food and drinks at excellent prices. The $6 glasses of wine and the super refreshing $7 aperol spritz are always generous pours (they also have a published article framed saying that their aperol spritz is one of the best, if not the best, in the country). I’ve also never had a dish that I didn’t like. Just this weekend I went with a group, and we ordered several food items to share. We got a couple Caesar salads, an order of meatballs (very big), two individual size pizzas, and an order of gnocchi. It was plenty for the four of us. I would highly recommend Bar Cotto for a casual happy hour or even a nice dinner date.
Wow! Amazing food. Some of the best gnocchi I've had in my life, and the pizza is a great thin, woodfired crust with an incredible selection of meats to put on top. We had the Italian sausage and it was incredible. We also got the "pillows of fried dough" appetizer, which could have had a sauce, but on its own was very good still. Probably my least favorite thing was the tiramisu, which was very heavy on the liquor, but it was still tasty. Good service, a little loud, great prices. An app, a pasta dish and a pizza fed four of us.
Caesar salad was very good. Right amount of dressing, cheese, good amount of lettuce, crunchy croutons - one of the highest quality Caesars I've had. Beat salad was also very good. Pizza was your an average Neapolitan pizza. We had the pepperoni - wasn't anything special. Salads were 5 stars, pizza 3 stars.
Now to be totally fair, I've only gone for happy hour, but it surely is the happiest hour when it comes to pizza! Their pizzas are SERIOUSLY on-point... as with the entire experience!
Atmosphere - try to hit it on a nice day, because they have a cool outdoor sitting area that catches the afternoon sun that is awesome! You can people watch and enjoy your delicious food and beverages.
Grub - again, I haven't branched out from the happy hour menu, but it is to die for! I know I may loose some at this, but the charred broccoli is AMAZING, I had to convince my husband not to order a second round due to extreme amount of food we had ordered. The pizzas are all flat crust and feel straight out of Italy! They also have a spicy olive oil that I tend to overuse because it is amazing.
Drinks - they usually have a daily cocktail option and that has never ceased to please me!
Service - they have extra friendly service that is the cherry on top to a great meal!
Came here for happy hour on a weekday. The happy hour here is fantastic! They have great prices and decent sized portions. You can get full and drunk here on happy hour for a good price. And the food is delicious (we especially liked the gnocchi). The personal pizza was alright (would recommend the pasta/meatballs more).
Haven't eaten much here, but what I've tried, I loved. Casual bistro style restaurant with small plates and pizza. Brussels were perfectly roasted and seasoned. Romesco was on point and pAired it perfectly. The eggplant caponata burrata crostini was to die for. Drink menu was good, wine menu limited. Ethan Stowell hits a home run again.
A bit expensive, but delicious Neapolitan-style pizzas. It’s also a salumeria so the meats are delicious! It’s a small place so we made a reservation on Friday at 7 but I’m not sure we needed one.
Went right as they opened and we were only ones there so can't comment on vibes and all that but decor is cool and I liked the open kitchen. Ordered the funghi and sasiccio pizzas and both were pretty good. Loved the mushrooms on the funghi but didn't have too much flavor in the sauce. The sasiccio hit the spot. Would definitely go back.
Great food, exceptional service, and that $50 dinner rocks. We ate outside and were plenty warm with the blankets and patio heaters. We'll definitely be back again!
Favorite pizza place in Seattle. The pepperoni is fantastic & make sure to ask for the off the menu “green sauce” which tastes great with pizza.
Pizza was delicious and tomato soup was some of the best we’ve ever had. Will definitely be coming back.
The staff were great and the place has really nice vibes. However the food was major disappointment especially after reading the reviews on here. Our carbonara pizza came out and the egg was completely cooked through. This shouldn’t be allowed to leave the kitchen as the entire point is to let the egg run.
They do not provide silverware for take out orders. The price of the food is also $2 more than what it shows on the menu here on google maps.
My favorite restaurant in Capitol Hill. Great food, drinks, ambience, service, and reasonably priced for a nice meal.
One of the best meals! Will definitely come back here! Legit funghi pizza and tomato soup. Very fresh ingredients that come through in the food. We waited for over half an hour but very worth it! Perseverance pays!
The evening we had here was outstanding and I could not recommend this place enough! After seeing this restaurant on Tik Tok, we thought we'd give it a try, and boy did they not disappoint! We shared the $50 course deal which is unbeatable for the quality and quantity of the food. Every ingredient they used was incredibly fresh and fulfilling. Not to mention how much care the owner puts into ensuring you have the best experience possible, he went above and beyond. Weather you want to go for drinks, lunch, or a romantic dinner, this place has all the warm Italian vibes! This is our new favorite spot and we WILL be back!!
Delicious Italian food, great drinks and friendly staff! My favorite casual Italian place in Seattle
Best bartender I've ever had! Super knowledgeable about the drinks and has tailored them to his style! The pizza was top notch. Delicious! Appetizers (mixed greens salad and bruschetta style crostinis) are all flavorful and to die for! Great atmosphere with funky music that makes you want to get up and boogie! Will come here SOOOO much more! You should too!!! 😉
Super cozy and vibrant atmosphere. The pizzas ranges from classics to twists on old favorites. I had the Parma and my partner had the diavolo, and both came out perfect. Dough was amazing, ingredients were fresh, drinks were unique and strong, and the owner was super nice and interesting.
Just another/yet another pizzeria. They serve thin crust wood fired pizzas. The dough seemed okay, the cheese was just falling off the pizza. The presentation of food can improve. Roasted salad was cold.
Service is still great the focaccia and burrata was the best, The pasta was not my favorite. The bolangese was missing something..it didn’t have much flavor..it was meh
Food was great. Glad we ordered appetizers because there was a wait for the pizza. Definitely could have used more staff, but that is everyone right now! Favorite of the night were the pillowy bits of dough!
If you’re visiting, don’t waste your taste buds here. If you have a kitchen full of spices, then this pizza makes a good base. I ordered the margarita pizza & it was just a cheese pizza with a few leaves of basil.
Excellent service and ah-mazing pizza, appetizers, and cocktails! We came for the anchovy pizza (the A&O), and we were not disappointed. Not to mention, our server was excellent and so accomodating when we wanted to sit outside. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll certainly be returning.
Great Happy Hour from 5-7pm! Huge pizzas for happy hour and the other foods are delicious as well. Brussel Sprouts and Olives.
I'm so bad with names and forgot our server's but they were SO NICE and answered all our questions (they had a gorgeous snake tattoo on their arm). The atmosphere was gorgeous, food delicious, drinks beautiful. If you need help deciding what pasta to get I highly suggest the pepperonata, I've never enjoyed a pasta dish more. Also the $50 two person deal?? A dream come true. We are for sure coming back.
Brandon and Chris at Bar Cotto are the best! It was such a busy night when my friends and I went, but the atmosphere was wonderful, the service was exceptional, and they were so fun! Love this place and will definitely be back. Everything on the menu was delicious as well--you seriously can't go wrong. The drinks are yummy too!
-The Britney's ;)
We had a great dinner on a quiet Monday evening. The happy hour specials (which last until 7!) were an amazing value.
Great food, tasty drinks, excellent service! After hearing great things about Bar Cotto it was a must that we try it. Had a caesar salad, peperonata (that sauce was on point!) shared a pizza- great crust and toppings, shared some spaghetti n meatballs…not like what your mama used to make. My old fashioned was perfectly balanced. (as a man who loves his old fashioned, this is a huge test for me, and they delivered big time!) The staff was very friendly and attentive. Give this place a shot if you haven’t! If you have, ya gots good taste!
This place has been around for a while and has changed hands. These things obscure the fact this is the best artisanal pizza on Capitol Hill. Sorry, establishment and new kids on the block.
2 person dinner for about $50 (no alcoholic beverages, includes 1 appetizer, 1 pizza, and 1 salad). Brussel sprouts were AMAZING - best dish of the meal. Caesar salad was good but very cheesy (literally, not figuratively). Verde pizza was underwhelming (not enough toppings), but adding chili flakes and chili oil helped elevate the dish. Great customer service overall.
Delicious plates at a great price. The entire time, the songs they played were bangers. Can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu.
The brussel sprouts, chopped salad, and tiramisu were much better than their pizza and pasta.
I enjoyed the house red wine. Food was okay; but nothing outstanding, as it was 2 weeks ago. Menu was limited. We ate about 6-ish - parking was almost non-existent but after circling 4-5 times, I found on-street parking 3 blocks aa sea away.
All in all this place was awesome there were just a few things that could be improved but I’d still 110% come back & we will!! We ordered the meatballs, Caesar salad, burrata, 2 Brussel sprouts, Parma and the A&O pizza, a calzone, and the pepperonata pasta. All the food was to die for except the salad, I think maybe they forgot to add the Caesar dressing. It had no flavor whatsoever! :( but the Brussel sprouts were some of the best I’ve ever had so totally made up for it! We placed the order online several hours in advance to be ready at 7pm and it wasn’t all ready until around 720pm. Not a huge deal, but maybe a time frame as opposed to an exact time when placing ahead could be helpful. The appetizers were ready closer to 7 but the pizza wasn’t so after 20 mins the appetizers weren’t as warm anymore once the pizza was done. Overall the food was delicious though & I think very well priced for quality and portions. And altho we didn’t dine in, the few interactions I had with their employees were great! Super kind.
They kept checking in on us while we waited (which was only about 15 mins) and I appreciated them letting us know they hadn’t forgotten us. The pizza was great and the draft Pilsner was so fresh, it was a perfect meal and all around pleasant dining experience on a Friday night.
The pizza dough is hand made, and absolutely incredible! My favorite pizza in all seattle for sure. Brandon the owner is incredibly friendly and over the top in terms of phenomenal service and bartending. Drinks are amazing. The black Manhattan is dope. The Funghi pizza with truffle oil is a must have!! Will be back for sure!
Pizza is good, but the star on this menu for me is the Peperonata. Reminds me of home. Creamy, good portions, cooked to perfection. Best pasta dish in the city in my opinion. The owner/manager was also extremely friendly and helpful when I asked if they would be willing to cater my birthday dinner and gave me tips for visitng Italy when this pandemic is over!
Great food and service. They have a current special for just 50$ for two with more than enough to eat and drink. Love this place!
We've been twice in the last few weeks (takeout, can't speak to dine in), and I don't know why we hadn't been before now. Delicious wood fired pizza (diavola & pepperoni), pastas, and a delicious beet salad (beet salad are one of my faves, and this one is quite nice). We'll be back.
Their pizzas are delicious and stay crispy even when you do take out. The staff is really nice and it is really pleasant to see the same people. It has that feeling of a neighborhood restaurant. Bar Cotto is a great place and I recommend it to anyone who likes pizzas!
Very rarely will I rate a place 5/5 stars but Bar Cotto was above and beyond. Christian was our server and he was fantastic. Gave great recommendations and the food/drinks were excellent! I had an aperol spritz....amazing. We tried the brussel sprouts and the diavlo pizza. I haven’t had a pizza that well made in my life. The brussel sprouts were next level!! Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone.
I’ve had my share of takeout/delivery meal experiences since covid, and I would consider this one of the best I’ve had. The meal “took away” very well and after ordering a few small plates turned into a very presentable and diverse plate of food.
The portion size for the price, given the quality of the restaurant, is quite good.
All in all I had a fantastic meal and would highly recommend this as delivery if you’re looking for a nice meal at home
Great food and very friendly staff! As others have commented their $50 deal for two includes salad, pasta, pizza, and two cocktails or a bottle of house wine. I would highly recommend.
Best Italian in Seattle. Small outdoor seating with heat lamps is perfect for four people. Great mocktails for those who don't drink but want something fun. The gnocchi is definitely a must try, as is the burrata.
Great food for a great deal. We get their special dinner for two every once in awhile: pizza, pasta, salad, and a bottle of wine makes a nice date night. Don't forget the tiramisu!
One of my favorite pizza places in Capitol Hill (mainly due to their close proximity and amazing happy hour). It's a small restaurant and fills up quick, typically we've managed to slide into their bar or outdoor seating. All the menu items are extremely flavorful and as mentioned above they have a great happy hour. The food and service has been consistently good every time we've gone!
We ordered the Margherita pizza and the roasted beet appetizer. Both the dishes tasted just okay and lacked flavors. Roasted beets were plated awfully making it difficult to get all the flavors in one bite. The pizza had extra big basil leaves that were not chopped and dollops of cheese kept falling off from the base whenever you lift the slice. The place has a cozy ambience and the service was quick.
Perfection!
Try to take some time to watch them make the pizzas. It's incredible.
We started with the roasted brussel sprouts. They were perfect the sauce was amazing. Next we had the gnocchi the texture was light and flavor was wonderful!
Lastly we had a true neapolitan wood fired pizza, let me say, the dough was perfect in fact I have tried hundreds of italian style pizzas and I must say without a doubt this pizza has the best crust. Most pizza's of this style lack structure towards the middle of the pie, however Bar Cotto Pizza had perfect structure, Perfection!
Pro tip: If you like spicy then definitely ask for the spicy oil it is so good on the pizza!
Everything was wonderful and I will be back again soon!
Food was great! Gnocci and the torta frittas. Very tastey. Service was average. Homie just doin his job. Kitchen is open tho which is kinda fun to watch and smell. Clean bathrooms. Price wasn't too bad either. Nice little spot.
Solid wood-fired pizza. Great salads. Quick service. Only complaint was that they were playing Mexican music the whole time. Love Mexican music, just not at an Italian Restaurant.
UPDATE: Love the receptiveness to customer feedback. Changed to 5-stars!
Wow 😯 this place is so good!!! I’m in love with this place and the staff is great. If you are looking for bomb Italian food pleaseeeeeeeeeeee go to here you will thank me after I promise!! …
Went for happy hour, and was very pleased at both the options and quality of the food! Split a few plates with a friend and left full and happy! The gnocchi is suuuuuper good. Meatballs were delish, and pizza was very tasty. Will definitely go again for another happy hour!!
Can I give 4.5 stars? Better than a 4, not a 5...
The $50 pandemic special is a super value. The meal is leftovers worthy. Tip heavy my friends.
This cute little pizza place has a cozy vibe and friendly waitstaff. Went there solo to indulge and sat at the bar with a glass of wine and the mushroom pizza. It was nice. Highly recommend!
Excellent authentic Italian food. Service was good but the kitchen was a bit slow for our pizzas. We ended up waiting for around 30 minutes for our food.
This place is amazing. Love the $50 for 2 (salad, pizza, pasta, drinks) deal. Great food, atmosphere, and people. I love coming back here and consider it a neighborhood gem.
It was Tuesday and another restaurant was closed; we stumbled in to Bar Cotto. Loved it. We had salumi misto, foccacia, and pizza blanca. Quite good. I drive by here but have never looked closely. Lots to go back and try. Good choice of veggies, pizza, pasta, and drinks. We had pizza, salumi, 4 drinks, and dessert. The bill came to $64 not including tip. Part of our order was happy hour pricing. Pizza was $17. Drinks at happy hour pricing were $8.
Great little space for a quick bite or drink! We visited during happy hour, and enjoyed a nice discount on our drinks and pizza. Pizza was delicious (made in a wood fired oven I believe); really digged their chilli oil. Service was quick and friendly, would recommend a visit!
New ownership/chef, but sneakily not communicating that to guests. Prices are higher and portions smaller. The salumi is dry and lower grade. The happy hour that was once a great deal is now actually a rip-off, considering what is offered. Oh and be sure to ask for the prices for the orally presented desert menu. A calzone full of nutella, like something you'd make at home when you're high, was $16. Jean-Georges doesn't charge that for dessert in NYC. Still three stars, though, because for Seattle, this is about as good as pizza gets, which isn't saying much.
Popped in here on NYE most recently. The new owner was onsite and an amazingly gracious host. Sampled several shared plates and pizza. Great Italian cured meats, and the brussel sprouts were to die for! Will definitely be going back soon.
Simple and elegant. My German girlfriend has been in North America for two years now and said it’s the closest to Italy she’s had. Pasta was great, pizza was amazing, and service was super friendly.
One of my favorite restaurants in Seattle! It's small, so it's usually a bit busy, but it's not too hard to get seated (especially if you're ok with bar seating). Great pizza and awesome drinks!
I love this place, an improvement since Brandon took over! Friendly, sweet staff; delicious food, great outdoor high table, if you can snag it! My favorite gluten free crust in town!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Seattle for the very first time. We stayed in the Capital Hill area and Bar Cotto was mentioned as a restaurant to try. Oh my! So glad we did. We were in Seattle for 10 days and dined at Bar Cotto three times! From the amazing drinks to the brussel sprouts, beets, rigatoni, gnocchi, pizzas, meatballs, torta frittas everything was superb! Brandon, the owner, made us feel welcome and like part of the local family. I highly suggest Bar Cotto for your dining, it's worth the trip!
Service was fast. I loved that for happy hour I could get a personal size pizza for 7 dollars which you can choose either pepperoni or margherita. The margherita was really good. The ambience is nice as well.
Simply best pizza in town. Pasta as well. And don't forget the burrata. If you wanna eat true Italian food, this is the place to go. Living a couple of hours off the Italian border please believe me.
Great food and service.
We had a variety of wine, sides/veggie/apps, a meat platter, and a couple pizzas and all were fantastic.
The very friendly staff was very accommodating of my multiple reservation changes.
Great atmosphere, every dish is delicious and for no reason at all it’s extremely affordable. Highly recommend the gnocchi and the bruschetta !
This is a very special place in my heart. I have had so many romantic dinners with my fiance here and she loves it. 5 stars. Try the lambrusco wine with the fennel pizza.
Here on our honeymoon came here twice it is was that good Patrick and Camilla were extremely helpful and friendly. The drinks were very modern and tasty. I recommend the twilight in Parma. It is superb and highly recommended if you like gin. 😀 …
Food is average for being an italian restaurant (I'm Italian!) and the prices do not justify the quality. The place is nice although there are much better italians. If you are looking for Italian places try the Happy Hour of Barolo or go to La Spiga (the closest you can get for an Italian restaurant in Seattle!)
Fantastic Italian spot. Excellent high-end pizza and pasta. Save room for the killer tirasimu. They're getting espresso soon.
One of my close by, feel good places. They have the Ferrari of meat slicers and a stone oven. I discovered the Aperol spritz here on a very hot summer day-- perfection! I enjoy Ethan Stowell restaurants and you will find all of the great Italian charcuterie your heart desires. Don't be afraid to ask for the charcuterie you want if you don't see it listed. They just might!
Brandon and Chris at Bar Cotto are the best! I love this place. Great venue with outstanding pizza, great drinks, and 5-star service.
Good drinks, good food, decent prices for Seattle. The service was splendid. The atmosphere was enjoyable, but popular times fill the seating rapidly. I would go again, good times with friends sort of place.
One of the most delicious pizza I've ever had
I love this place. The burrata and meats are fantastic. The pizza is also pretty tasty. Service is good and the drink menu is ok. I would go here before it's too late
Absolutely phenomenal!
The service, the food, the drinks, the ambiance, everything about this place will keep me coming back time and time again. The new owner Brandon is also what makes this place even better than it was before. The only thing that’s not world class is the lack of parking/valet.. but hey that’s Cap hill right?
Nothing special about this place for being an Ethan Stowell restaurant. Cocktail was good. Pizzas were ok. Burrata was really good, but the white bean appetizer was blah! Overall, ehh!
If I could rate a place 6 stars, I would rate Bar Cotto 6! Amazing food, amazing service and being able to see the food being prepared in the kitchen is an added bonus. Amazing!
This quaint little Italian restaurant in capital Hill has great pizza and the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is wonderful. If you want great pizza come visit this lovely little restaurant.
One of the best happy hours in Seattle. Affordable small pizzas and there's something amazing about their Caesar salad and I tell everyone to go there and get it.
Love the happy hour deals! The pizza was really good but the star of the show was the brussel sprouts appetizer.
They make good pizza. Best $50 Dinner FOR 2 in Seattle.
Very precious pizza. Light and tasty. Of you are in a mood for salad so get the beet salad, highly recommended place for dinner!
I have only gone here once but I really liked my food–pasta with meatballs. Also the bartender made me a custom drink of my choice. I am going there again soon.
Really tasty small plates. Everything made with come out of the wood oven. Good cocktails too. Small, kinda sexy environment.
Had the Burrata and Crudo pizza, both were so delicious, plus great service 👍👍
We had cold cuts and a pizza. Good food, great service and nice ambiance. Nothing that blew me away, but I'd go back.
Best Pizza in Seattle. Come after 10pm for Happy Hour prices! Do not skip out on the Torta Fritta.
Great pizza and drinks. Happy hour specials are fantastic and great sized portions.
Get the aperol spritz!
This is a good little spot for you and your partner to get to know each other 🥰
Only been there for their happy hour, which is excellent both in terms of drinks and especially in terms of food (esp their pizzas).
Wasn't horrible, but certainly not a pizza worthy of place requing reservations. I'd pass if you are a pizza nerd you'll be disappointed
Best dang pizza I've had in years and I eat a lot of pizza. Pizza had truffle oil, was amazing! Great service
Great place with amazing food!
Pizza was delicious. Amazing place. Staff were polite. Services was great.
amazing pizza, amazing service. good vibes, high quality. will come back.
Love y'all and the food. Thank you!
Awesome pizza and great attention. The owner and the staff are great. 100% recommended.
Food was really good. The $50 for 2 was amazing! Highly recommended!
Great service and delicious pizza and cocktails. Also loved their brussel sprouts.
Love this neighborhood Italian. Great meat boards, delicious cocktails, and friendly staff.
Great happy hour. I loved the arugula salad with burrata cheese, it blew my mind
Tremendous food and good service!!! We can't wait to come back!
Great pizza, cosy atmosphere, and friendly service.
If you haven’t. You should. You deserve it!! Authentic Italy. Such a warm atmosphere. You’ll fall in love
Pricey but great quality. The bartender was great! (Try their sparkling red wine)
The service was amazing and the pizza was really good but the pricing was a little high
Small joint but good pie and apps. Their happy hour outside is a good deal also.
Food and drinks were both great. The dessert selection is a bit small.
Wonderful service at a lovely spot. Try the pizza and you will not be disappointed!
Amazing very authentic Italian, get a spritz and pretend you are back in Italy.
Great food and drinks but a little on the pricy side, even for small plates
Usually a long wait. Not the best pizza I've ever had but pretty good.

What an incredible experience! We went the day after valentines which reasonably should be tired but we had an awesome date together accompanied by our friends pizza pasta and cocktail. The owner Brandon and server David made the experience over the top with excellent customer service. We prefer non corporate, small and intimate spots with high attention to detail and quality. This hit on all levels. An unexpected gem! Perfect for dates and affordable.
Suzy and I recently dined at Bar Cotto in Seattle and we were blown away by the delicious food and impeccable service. The intimate setting provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for our dinner, and the knowledgeable staff helped us select from their extensive menu of Italian cuisine. We especially loved the wood-fired pizza, which had the perfect balance of crispy crust and savory toppings. Overall, we highly recommend Bar Cotto to anyone in Seattle looking for an authentic and satisfying Italian dining experience.
It was very busy but that all melted away into the background. Very chill atmosphere. Great food + good company= amazing night.
