Reviews of Alibi Room
This is a frequent weekend evening restaurant choice for us. The happy hour is great (4-6 PM) and you can get individual pizzas that are more than enough for one person. Intimate atmosphere inside, great drinks, and a delicious apples and brie plate make for a nice evening with friends or just the two of you.
Fun place for good late night food and drink. Friendly service, good to sit at counter.
Tasty pizza - spinach was excellent. Greek had a bit too much raw zucchini for my taste. Seemed like a salad 😂
Not hard to find, just walk down the slope next to the market entrance toward the "world famous" gum wall.
Very cool spot hidden in the gum wall alley. I didn't know about this spot before going. I wanted to see the gum wall and looked up a restaurant to go to. Honestly, I almost didn't walk in because I was a little grossed out about all the gum around the entrance. So glad I did!! Don't let that scare you off! It's just part of the character. The food was amazing and the service great! I'm glad I found this place!
Came here for happy hour. Reasonable prices considering its location. Everything was good. The pasta doesnt look like much, but it was really good with a light creamy cheese sauce underneath. Drink specials were also excellent. I loved the atmosphere, kinda divey but welcoming and open.
Yum! This place may not look like much from the outside, but you have to try the pizza. I love that you can get a 50/50 split here to try multiple kinds in a single visit. We tried the vegan pie (with the olives and garbanzo) and the supreme without pepperoni. The crust was excellent.
Great bar hidden near the gum wall in pike place. Great pizza choices and great drinks for some great prices. We got the feta, spinach, mushroom pizza and the Toki highall/ sparking negroni. I loved the toki but the negroni was not the best drink I've had, but might be on someone's palet. The service was attentive as well.
A great place which I had passed several times without even noticing this 'hidden' behind the gum wall. The pizza (fig, honey, goat cheese all from the local market) was delicious, enjoyed a hazalizious IPA and the service staff was very friendly. A great place but (as most of the things in Seattle) not the cheapest but they're open till 2 am and serve food till 1am (wasn't that easy to find a plane that would still serve food after 9:30pm). Be aware that prices on the menu are without tax and tips
A different option. The lights are low as you enter giving an exclusive place vibe. Right off of Pikes Place, this place is a nice break from the crowded streets. The food was delicious. I went during a time where all restaurants are understaffed and therefore maybe didn't receive the quickest service but just be prepared to be patient during a pandemic. The old brick walls bring you back in time. Also I had to check out the alleged haunted bathroom that is under under ground.
I was visiting from Sacramento and wandered in here for a quick bite after looking for a spot to stop. I’m glad that I did! They were busy but I was immediately greeted and offered a spot at the bar since I was solo. I ordered the Apples and Brie, which comes with an amazing flatbread, and honey drizzled on the apples, and a Seattle Co. Dry Cider. The bartender Jason was really friendly and gave great service to each person at the bar! I’ll be back next time I’m in town. :)
First time in Seattle and surprisingly discovered a hidden gem in the gum wall alley. Rustic vibes and old school theme completely justify Alibi room. Their pizzas are super delicious and the way of serving is exotic. So, if you are in Pike place market and looking for something special, this is the one!!✨
Good tasting pizza. Love the hospitality and ambience. Focaccia & Cambozola appetizer is rich in taste and served warm with goat cheese. Tomatoes served with the appetizer is the best.
The Greek pizza is not the best but the spinach and feta pizza was great.
A fun experience eating "underground" from the main floor of Pike Place Market. A bit hard to find if you're not familiar with the area, but very close to the famous gum wall. Our waitress was very friendly and made nice small talk with us. The pizza was good but basic, tasted the same as most pizza places. It was very sweet of them to bring out free dessert for my friend celebrating her birthday.
I've always loved the ambiance of this bar. It's tucked away by the gum wall which makes it feel like a secret location. Inside, there is a speakeasy type feel. I stopped in for a quick beer and had great service from the bartender. I have ordered food here before and enjoyed it very much. It's a cool place to visit in Pike Place Market
I found this late on a Saturday in Seattle, feeling hungry and craving a cozy place to sit down after walking all day. Alibi was exactly what I needed. This place has the most delicious calzones, and its the perfect amount for a solo traveler not ready to eat an entire pizza. outstanding crust and fillings.
Looks like a DIVE when you go in, just off Post Alley, but was clean and tidy. The Pizza was great, service was great. Had a Happy Hour, a plus. Go there again, if we make it back to Seattle.
Visited Alibi Room for the first time a few days ago. We got the roasted broccolini which was amazing. The vegan pizza was really nice as well but the base was a little soft instead of crisp so the toppings kept falling off which made it difficult to eat the pizza well. The service was top class but I do wish they installed more lighting as it looks really dark and dingy and makes one sleepy.
Great atmosphere! I was here a few years ago and came back again. The white bean hummus dip was so good I wish I had the recipe.
Last time I came my vegan pizza was amazing! I think I did "Build your own pie" last time. This time I ordered the only vegan pie on the menu and it was okay, but I was craving more variety of vegetables. It was mostly pesto, olives and was a bit oily and salty. I would recommend build-your-own.
The service was 5 stars and the house wine was also great for the price!
My type of place, more like a pub style restaurant. Amazing servers, diverse menu and excellent pizza. Right in the heart of Pike Place Market.
Wonderful first experience here!
Took a little while to find, as it is tucked away along the "gum wall alley". Look for/follow the signs.
Walking in, the place was dark and fairly busy, as it was the peak of the dinner rush. Nevertheless, we were seated right away at a quaint 2-person table along the wall.
The server was very nice and immediately took our drink orders. While we waited, we took in the scenery of brick mixed with local urban art - quintessential Seattle.
The drinks arrived: Moscow mule for me (with Jameson instead of vodka), black opal for my wife. Both were amazing, and prepared perfectly.
I ordered the spicy Mac and cheese, while my wife ordered a custom pizza - both fairly priced, especially compared to how much everything has gone up. The Mac was amazing, with a good amount of spice that doesn't over take the dish. My wife said her pizza was "really really good" as well. The pizza is placed on top of a giant can of olives for a fun "effect".
All in all, really glad we went. The food and drinks were solid, and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. She even brought to my attention when some cash had fallen out of my pocket. We are only in Seattle for a couple days; but seriously considering hitting up this place again before we leave.
It's off the beaten road, snuggled close to an odd landmark, "Gum wall". It can be hard to find if you're not from the area. A local friend took me there and I'm happy for that. It has a great atmosphere, tasty food which I'm sad I couldn't taste more of, and friendly staff. Only downside is the limited selection of drinks, but everything else makes up for it.
Good drinks and great pizza. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The meatballs were a little cool in the center. The pepperoni pizza was awesome.
First time in Seattle. 110% will be returning! Food was amazing! Service from Trevor amazing! Atmosphere amazing!!!
The food was wonderful here! I really loved their apples and Brie... So so good. Also the Cesar salad was HUGE and freaking delicious. Love a good salad that actually fills you up. They are the one place that serves food later than 10pm around Pike so really love that they are open late and serve food and drinks. It's also by the gum wall so it's a touristy area but kinda hole in the wall??? We love that for them.
Best pizza I've ever had in Seattle. And yes, I've been to Rocco's.
It's really hard to find pizza that is somewhat similar to the pizzas they make in Europe. This place is it!
Really light and crispy crust. Pepperoni was great. Didn't love the rosemary sausage. Was more like a breakfast sausage, but my son liked it. Great price at lunchtime.
Despite being busy, and our server the only one... he was great! The pizza was delicious, spinach and artichoke dip to die for!
Legitimate good pizza, quaint great bar/restaurant with cool staff. I wasn't expecting this in such a touristy place.
Great Staff, Pizza, and Spicy Mac & Cheese, also cool location inside the Gum Wall Alley
Great pizza with a classic dive bar feel. Definitely coming back.
Very good pizza place hidden in an alley. Staff was really nice.
Went here for some late night food. The kitchen was open until midnight and the retro restaurant redirected me.
I had a rustic calzone and a beer. That calzone was $15 and easily beat food I've gotten from places 3 times or more the price. Absolutely delicious.
Definitely coming again. My server's name was Turtle and they were great and efficient.
Hung out here Friday and Saturday night. Best lill find ever. I am planing visits with friends now . The bartender was amazing. He even remembered us from the night before and our drinks. The food smelled amazing. Next time we may have a bite while there too.
Really good pizza and drinks! Nice selection of beer.
Great food and service. Only downside was the music but that's to personal taste
Had some great food during happy hour. Apple and Brie appetizer was excellent.
Probably only if not one of very few places in Seattle where the kitchen doesn't close at 10 . Pizza was very delicious and the hostess was pleasing. We had a great time at this bar
Came for happy hour....the half price pizza was enough for 2 without over indulging. We had the apple and cheese small plate and pizza. Wonderful flavors.
Italian food, we wanted to avoid. Then we had a beer and a bruschetta that was good. The waitress was too much nervous, asking too much of we wanted something else. It was stressful. The drawings hang to the wall were fantastic.
Delicious pizza in a rustic and interesting environment lends this pizzeria to be a recommended stop when in Pike Place! You certainly won't forget the Alibi Room and - if you're like me - will be anxious to return again when visiting Seattle!
I guess I’m at an age where great service means enough for me to review a place. Especially in the post-covid, short staffed, dehumanized state of society.
I was with my girlfriend and two of our best friends. They live in Sumner, I live in Tacoma and my girlfriend was coming in from Bainbridge Island. We're all 9-5 types. Somehow we all managed to get to Alibi Room at 5:40pm for a preshow (at the Moore) food and drinks. All this backstory is just to emphasize we rushed to get to Seattle and only had 20 minutes of happy hour left, however, all happy hour prices were honored to us for the time we spent there. The woman server (I cannot remember if she gave her name) was INCREDIBLE. I believe she was waiting every table. There was a serious method to the madness in her "don't mind my reach" cadence. It's a small space and the tables can get cramped with pizza and sharing plates but she handled it perfectly. We all finished up full and even had time to grab a plus one drink (and a shot) at RGB 😂
I usually feel ambivalent to negative towards the market but this place is a real gem. It doesn’t seem to get too busy. The food and drinks are good but the service “goes up to 11.” Next time we’re in the area, we’re picking Alibi Room.
Out-of-the way pizza joint at Pike’s Place Market area with good wood-fired and thin crust pizzas! Service is great and love the assortment of rock and alternative rock playing at all times.
There are 20 varieties of pies, or you can either create your own or turn any of their pies into calzone form. Pies are 14 inches in diameter which are good for sharing, or will satisfy your hunger if you’re not into sharing.
So definitely recommend this place tucked away from the main wave of human foot traffic that passes thru. You will have to walk past the gum walls to get to this place, but well worth it.
Our calzones were incredible. The side salads couldn't match the calzones, but they did their job well enough. The staff were charming and helpful.
An amazing hidden gem located near the gum wall at Seattle's Pike Place. They have creative dishes with wonderfully balanced flavours. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They have a unique rustic decor with a relaxed ambiance. I highly recommend this place! One of my favourite spots in Seattle!
Great pizza place. One of the best I've ever been.
Service takes little longer, as servers seems short staffed.
Friendly staff and great service. Rustic pizza was rich in flavor. Crust was thin and has a good chew to it. If you like balsamic then try dipping the pizza with their delicious house balsamic glaze.
Great atmosphere, it was dark and relaxed. The bruschetta was delicious and the truffle tre fungi pizza left me thinking about it even now, months later. My husband even loved it and he's not a big mushroom-on-pizza fan.
A must go Happy Hour location, The Pizza ask for well-done New York styles. And, the old fashion is just immaculate!
I loved the pizza here ! Thin crust and perfect ! ❤️ And I’m glad I tried apple and Brie as an appetizer!
Excellent pizza. The bad part id the smell of the gum in the alley as you walk to the restaurant/bar - it can my you queasy if you think about it too much. The service was great.
This spot is hidden in the alley of the gum wall, but don't pass it up!! The pizza is absolutely delicious. You can get a "mini" size of any available for half price. The picture is a mini size and it's still great proportions for one person. The drinks are unique and tasty. Plus very friendly service from the bartender.
can't recommend enough! brie and apple was amazing, the two pizzas we ordered were also delicious. Ben is an amazing waiter, took my phone up front and charged it for me. :) We mentioned that there was an issue with one of our pizzas and he offered to get us a new one and completely waived the cost of it for us. Thank you!! Will happily dine here again next time I'm in the area.
Easy to overlook when in the gum alley but cool little hideaway place. Kinda small place with an intament feel, dim lighting and great rock music playing. The pizza here us top notch and the toppings are truly fresh. Would definitely come here again. My only complaint is that they have a pretty small beer selection compared to most nearby places.
Wow! Usually places like this in the heart of a tourist attraction aren’t great, Alibi Room is an exception to that rule. Located in the smelly “gum wall” area of the market, Alibi Room is a small joint that has surprisingly good food! We took advantage of their excellent happy hour menu which includes $6 apps and pizzas. We sampled the goat cheese, the hummus and the bruschetta for apps and all were great. The 1/2 priced pizzas are “mini” pizzas but plenty good sized after the apps. The dough was flavorful and chewy and the toppings were fresh and it was perfectly cooked! Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town - in an area filled with a lot of tourist traps, this was a gem.
Looking for late night food? This is your spot! It’s open late and serves delicious wood-fried pizzas. Don’t miss it - it’s in Post Alley in the market, and it’s delicious. The atmosphere is casual and dark.
Was difficult to find this place but loved the rustic look and the ambiance. Beer and wine were good but the Margherita pizza was alright, but soggy.
It's a cozy bar. Gives the the actual feel of Seattle downtown. Loved the pizzas, hummus pita and bruschetta. Drinks are pretty good too.
OMG did I love this place!! Given its prime location on Post Alley (the gum is stuck all over its walls outside), I thought it would be an overpriced tourist trap. Man was I totally wrong!! This place has an incredible vibe, like a local hangout. The bartender (maybe manager too) immediately greeted me and made me feel welcome. The waitress was totally cool, while the guy making pizza baked an incredible pie. I went on Sunday for happy hour, and two beers and a pizza cost only $21!!! They could charge double and it would have been worth it! Totally cool place. My absolute favorite in Seattle!
The pizzas (alibi’s pies) here are delicious. We ordered Goat Cheese pizza and Chicken and Jalapeño pizza. All pizzas are thin crust which I like. Although the place is very close to gum wall it didn’t bother me once I went in. Also they have plenty of options at Bar. Loved the place.
Hard to find entrance next to the gum wall but once you are there, the ambiance is so cozy and food delicious! It is fresh, simple and good quality food! We ordered a grape blue cheese with arugula pizza and it was out of this world! Highly recommended.
The best part of the pizza menu is that you can combine any special pizza. We got half fungi half supreme!
An interesting bar beside the gum wall. One waitress told the story, when she was getting ready to quit, that she was afraid to be alone. She said she had a “spirit”ual experience here.
Hole in the wall feel.
Comfy and friendly.
Two of us arrived at 5:30pm on a Thursday without a reservation and were able to sit right away.
Appetizer was delivered with the entree pizzas but that turned out to be okay because we had the Apple and Brie appetizer which ended up being a dessert for us.
My buddy ordered the pepperoni personal Pizza under the happy hour section and I ordered the combo/supreme under the happy hour session. Happy hour wrapped up at 6:00 p.m. so we had just enough time to order.
What a great place, the pizza was amazing as well as the service! I will be back!
Great service, food, drinks & prices.
Happy Hour till 6 daily. Really good deals.
Vegan pizza & appys were delicious!!
Brooke & Doug are very kind.
Highly recommend
The happy hour prices are great (we spent 24 dollars for the two of us). The vibe is nice and
the staff was very kind and friendly. Bruschetta was fantastic! Especially the dip.
Very cool place right next to the famous Gum Wall that is easy to find. It had that underground vibe to it which was pretty cool and the pizza was amazing. We had to wait to be seated but it only took like 5 minutes and after that all the waiters were very attentive and refilled my water. Would totally come back!
This is an excellent pizza place with rugged decor. Don’t let the menu prices scare you away. They have happy hour every day until 6pm that includes half size pizzas for half the price or less of regular menu pizzas. These half size “mini” pizzas are sizeable and should be plenty for most people. Happy hour also includes $4.50 draught beers and $5 glasses of wine.
Fantastic vibes, insanely delicious food, and great customer service! This restaurant is definitely a must if you’re visiting Seattle!
Great experience here! Off the beaten path, thought it would be crazy expensive but was actually decently priced! Our server Evelyn was great very friendly and gave great recommendations! Pizza tasted great! Super fresh and fast! It gave us a local feel! Would definitely recommend this place!
Meh. The pizza was just ok nothing to rave about. They are skimpy with the add on toppings for the price. Service was slow and I want to say unfriendly but it was more like a bunch of introverts... like i was interrupting there day. Ambiance is like an old dank basement... no light or sunshine in the place. Its is right next to the famous Gum Wall , which is weird but nonetheless an attraction
Alibi Room is the local spot you push your way through tourists for. Happy Hour prices are unmatched, especially in Downtown Seattle. Salads are fresh and big. No pizza has disappointed.
Very cute little bar. We got the spinach and artichoke as well as a build your own pizza. I would highly recommend!
Green eggs and ham pizza was delicious! Our waitress (can’t remember her name, she had red hair) was also super friendly. She let me borrow her phone charger because my phone was almost dead. As tourists in a big city like Seattle, we would have never found our way back to our Air BNB. Great customer service and fantastic pizza joint, if we’re ever back in Seattle we will without a doubt come back!
Vibe is cool. It's a cozy place, and the food is good, beers are local. They can make your pizza as a calzone if you want, useful if you're flying solo. The staff is super nice, too!
I visited here in 2019. The atmosphere is amazing. I ordered a giant spinach salad with walnuts and feta cheese 🤤. It was so fresh. But the thing I still think about and wish I could fly to Seattle for just to order is the jalepeno chicken pizza. The combination of the jalepenos, parmesan, and cilantro was to die for. Can't wait to go back.
Happy hour is fantastic. This is truly a hidden gem in the crazy confines of Pikes Place Market on Post Alley. Half price pizza’s for happy hour makes it affordable along with it tasting great.
Literally a hole in the wall, with a central location to all the action in seattle. super awesome staff at the bar here, & the margharita pizza is to die for as well. overall a huge fan of this business
Definitely get the full pizza instead of the personal ones!
Crust is soft and crispy and the red sauce is great!
Most of the appetizers are ok, but nothing you HAVE try.
The Downstairs is so dimly lit and intimate I'm really glad that I felt the pull to come here. I was searching for a place to use the bathroom after playing the giutar on Pike and just fell in love with the way I felt inside so I decided to Order a Long Island and Some Caprice, so Good!
Great little place in the alley of gum wall. Pizza was 4/5, the apple and brie was great though, the honey on top made it perfect and naturally sweet
This place is a hidden gem is Seattle, awesome service, great food and very friendly!!
Food was great! Drinks were awesome and service was on point! The tapenade was delicious! Loved the grape pizza as well!
Great little spot. I found it as I walked around downtown. Warm and friendly from the moment I walked in. Dim lights, brick and wood gives this place a very special feel. The lovely staff and great food take it to that next level. I was alone, but I saw big family groups, couples and small groups all enjoying the atmosphere. I’ll be back one day :)
An interesting take on pie and pizza. Loved the concept. Background music was 80s Rock. What's not to like?
Pretty dang good affordable pizza and drinks. The art upstairs is fun. Excellent service.
Okay service, great food. Brought my 9yr and 15yr old siblings and they enjoyed it. We all three shared the classic pizza and large Caesar salad. I’ll come back again with friends and try their cocktails.
What a cool find. This hole in the wall dark Seattle bar is exactly what you are looking for.
Get in there for a drink or food. They have delicious pizza's, calzon's, broccollini, appetizers and salad's.
The food and drinks were delicious and the location is epic.
Cheers 🍻 to the Alibi Room.
FYI the location is over 100 years old and going to the bathroom is an underground adventure.
🇺🇸🤙🤟
Service -
Waiter kept out glasses filled and checked on us with great attentiveness.
Environment -
Coming in from outside as we had been walking around downtown Seattle I expected to be greeted with a nice cool ac however instead it was very warm had it not been for the water they had brought out I would have been even more uncomfortable trying to cool down.
Food -
We had ordered a pizza to share which was plenty for two. The ingredients tasted fresh as did the tomato sauce. The pizza crust on the outside was nice and crispy but slightly soft near the center which could have used a few more mins to crisp up. The appetizer we ordered meat and cheese plate was okay as it lacked a few of the pairings like mustard and picklings.
Overall - overall the dining experience was good music was not to loud. The lighting was nice and slightly elegant. The food was very fresh and delicious we would recommend and definitely return.
Delicious pizza, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Did I mention delicious pizza!!
Great music good food and awesome staff!! Will be back! Go visit the gum wall and stop in for a cold one and a pizza.
Great pizza! The calzone was perfect not to much breading and it was crunchy. The red sauce was amazing
Just happened to come in here for dinner and it was amazing! Great good and service. The blue cheese and bacon pizza was unexpectedly delicious. The garlic bulb appetizer was so falvorful. Glad we ran into this place! Had the Fresca (if you're a fan of vodka and citrus it is a must-try.
Great service (didn’t catch servers name- around 5:30 March 7)pizza is on point & nice atmosphere.
Great music, cozy low-light atmosphere. Great beer, wine, and cocktail selection. Delicious vegan pizza pie on the menu: pesto, garbanzo beans, red onions, kalamata olives, balsamic reduction, and white bean hummus side.
Some fine fine pizza, this place is awesome. Usually hit it up later at night because of how late it's open so that's a plus. The staff is cheerful even when things get full and busy. It's kind of fun that it's hidden and out of the way. The drinks are good and the pizza is awesome.
A must if visiting Seattle, the pizza did not disappoint and the spinach dip was next level! Always ensure I'm making a stop when in town.
Fantastic pizza and beer. Music is spot on. Glad this place is somehow better then it was before. Been gone about 5 years. It was good then too.
Really fun pizza and bar, a bit noisy but it fits the speakeasy vibe. It's hidden away in an alley and a very lively place. The pizza was quite good (though could have been crispier, it was very droopy and soft) and my girlfriend enjoyed the spicy mac n cheese. Service and everyone there was super nice.
Great little place tucked away down a low trafficked hall. It feels very exclusive wandering upon it and the food is great. We ordered the mushroom pizza and they're not fooling around when they say mushrooms!
One of best pizzas in Seattle!
Incredibly fresh ingredients, especially the locally sourced mozzarella. The difference is in the taste. Small, dark, a great place for an impromptu date. The staff is always spot on!
Amazing pizza! I would definitely come here again.
Jason was a very helpful and friendly bartender. The pizza was also good and I really enjoyed the fact they had Red Hot Chili Peppers’ music playing and the movie scripts to read while you wait. A very cool place indeed.
Great pizza. Happy hour deals are killer. Hidden under the market, I'm always surprised it's never more busy than it is. I hear it turns into a club later, but we've only come for dinner.
Was told by a local that this is a staple of Seattle. Pizza here did not disappoint! I went with the Classic and it was great, I definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
The vegan pie was good, but service with a major attitude, ambiance was so so
I drive 30 minutes just to have their bruschetta. The "Rustic" pizza was great too.
Alibi room is a classic Seattle joint. Anyone visiting Pike Place Market looking for a local bar can do no better!
We went for cocktails, and enjoyed the Fresca and Gran Mariner Manhattan, both really good. We weren't there for food, but they didn't have many gluten free or dairy free options.
this is definitely not a spot for tourist- it is small and quiet hard to find but we manage to find it by the help of a janitor. the menu is definitely for pizza enthusiastist ( don't come here if you don't love pizza ). i ordered a mushroom pizza that is about 12 inches, huge portion, freshly made pizza. it does get busy later at night, especially after the seahawks game. i definitely will come back whenever i visit seattle. oh, also our server Erin was great - she was extremely friendly.
Very surprised at the awesome flavors and great service here. Highly recommend checking out this spot in downtown Seattle!
Good Happy Hour menu and great prices!
Great service. Excellent Old Fashion. Solid pizza 🍕.
The pizzas are delicious wood fired style pizza, with lots of options. The staff are great and the have a good selection of spirits as well. They even offer a military discount that is greatly appreciated.
Nice secret locals place hidden in the market. Fantastic pizza and great happy hour
Very helpful in avoiding my allergens, (gluten and dairy).
Awesome bar in Pike Place right inside the Gum Wall alley. We are visiting from Atlanta and enjoyed the fig, prosciutto, and goat cheese pizza so much that we had it twice while we were here. Ambiance was cool, server was great, the place was never packed out and very COVID safe. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good thin, crispy pizza.
An absolute must. Staff are on their game. Delicious food, excellent drinks.
Stopped into a literal hole on the wall while visiting the Gum Wall and found this gem, our waiter Adam came by quickly to get us some waters and then following that we threw the whole drink and entree order on him. The Old Fashion I had was deliciously made, no skimping on the Knob Creek. Got the bruschetta and a custom pizza 🍕. All of it was fantastic, the dough and sauce seemed like they are made in house. One of the few places I’ve seen that still throws a dough.
2.5 Stars: Good pizza mostly. I liked the crust: decent flavor and bake. Most of the toppings were good; however, there was one I had difficulty identifying over others while eating. The pizza I had came with the garlic-oil base, which I'm concerned actually made me enjoy everything less. It really missed its mark.
Great service, Dilleon was an outstanding bartender and polite good conversation wonderful place and amazing food 11/10 would come back
Great bar on the hill climb in Pike Street Market. Great beer selection, awesome mixologists, and fun peeps. I started going there in the late 90's Lol. It was hip then . I would be one of the old guys at the club these days so I keep my visits on the dl. Fun place.
Great pizza - the decor is spartan, but the good food more than makes up for it!
Super chill atmosphere, with delicious food and awesome staff!
Love this place. Good drinks & good food
Good pizza, happy hour prices reasonable, near future wall, wash hands. Staff very friendly and helpful! would recommend checking out!
My girlfriend and I stopped in after dinner on a Thursday night for a few drinks after finding the location earlier in the day while walking around pike market. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. The Alibi Room definitely has a "service industry" type feel too it and enjoying it with fewer people in late January was a contributing factor.
Awesome vibe, good food and drinks, and the NICEST bartender probably in the world. I get it, the life of a bartender is busy and largely thankless. I don't expect a Wal-Mart greeting when I order a beer, but sometimes dealing with the typical bartender is less than enjoyable. Could not be further from the truth at The Alibi! The dude that served us was so nice and chill, it felt like talking to a friend that genuinely cared about me and my hopes and dreams. It was outstanding and something I didn't even know was possible. 10/10 highly recommended
You might think this place is just hipsters and kids with too much money... and you're right.
But what they also have awesome pizza.
They're amazing.
Worth the price and the wait.
Inflation definitely crushed the menu prices so not cheap, but pizza was very very good
I always enjoy the Alibi Room. Turtle provided great service.
Great quite spot to recoup from a complete night of pure degeneracy.
Pricy, but worth it.
Great food
Early happy hour
Strong cocktails
This has been my go to hangover recovery spot for over a decade every time I am in Seattle
We went here for my daughter's birthday and got there shortly before minors were not allowed and they were so sweet to let us come in and eat! We ordered several things but the truffle pizza was one of the best things I have ever eaten. If you're in Seattle by Pike Place check this place out, you won't be sorry!
Greatest pizza ever, warmest hosts
Strongly recommend
Thank you 🙏 …
Great hidden spot under the market place. Tasty pizza and drinks in a nice tucked away spot!
Such a great spot! They pizza is delicious, price is reasonable, environment is nice, and they have a happy hour till 6! They require proof of vaccination before entering which I think is great.
I just had the BEST experience here. Our waitress was so incredibly professional, friendly, and patient- unfortunately, I couldn’t hear her when she said her name, but she had long awesome curly hair. She was so on top of everything and didn’t keep us waiting too long for anything, even when tables started filling up. This is mostly a review about how outstanding she is, but the food and drinks were equally impressive!! Don’t pass up the spicy Mac n cheese, it’s to die for. Drinks are reasonably priced, which is awesome for downtown. Not crowded, there was actually no wait when we went. Vibe is on point, music is chill, overall 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to go back :)
I had the Grapes & Bleu Cheese as a calzone. It was fantastic. It was a splendid mix of sweet and savory. I can't wait to come back for another!
Good food, but missed the mark on getting it right. My wife has cheese allergies and we very specifically requested no cheese when placing the order. It had cheese.
However, we would go back, as the food was very good.
One of the few options you have if you want to eat something in Downtown Seattle after 7 pm. But everything it's great, pizza, drinks, attention... it's a very cozy place and I really liked it. Also, I liked the fact that they only let vaccinated people in, so it feels like a safer space.
Cozy little gem with good food, drinks, and service. I love how dark it is in here!
Looking for a good pizza and stumbled upon this place. It was awesome as was the staff!!! Highly recommend this place!
Great happy hour wine and apps- we liked the apple Brie and bruschetta appetizer and the red wine.
Fun place down Post Alley. Combo of locals and tourists. Vide is dark, sophisticated, and fun. Pizza was excellent!
Amazing find! Great drinks and seriously tasty pies!!! Open late and it's a cool vibe right off Post Alley. Mist visit!
Great place for late night food, pizza was great!
We love this place. Amazing food and very friendly staff.
Excellent pizza, very cool atmosphere and truely friendly service.
Excellent cocktails, truly fantastic pizza (even flavors I don't nor.ally care for are great there), and very fun, kind, and tolerant staff. Can't say enough good things!
Delicious Tuscan Pizza
Fantastic pizza and great prices. Perfect little place downtown with friendly service.
Brushchetta was really good, humus was good too, vegan pizza is a good option to try
Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Bought a calzone that tasted great but way too small and was still hungry afterwards. Should have bought a whole pizza.
During my long weekend trip to Seattle, we ate at quite a few places, the Alibi Room was my absolute favorite. Everything we ate was so flavorful and delicious. It is the only meal I had that I want to repeat! The entrance is located off an alley way (The Gum Wall). It is rustic, dark (like mostly every place in Seattle lol, what is that about by the way??) , warm, and smells oh so good. The spicy Mac n Cheese was surprisingly amazing, the mixed greens salad added necessary freshness and brightness to the meal, but the high light was of course the pizza. We ordered the 4 cheese and with each bite it never disappointed. There are ways I wish I could explain the flavors on the pizza and within the crust, but it is just an experience you have to have yourself. Service was speedy despite the fact that it did get quite busy at the end of our meal. (Spicy Mac N Cheese is on the Happy Hour menu at a discounted rate! It comes in a smaller dish but it is just enough)
Pizza is very flavorful and crispy. I hope I could’ve dined in because the pizza got a bit cold when I got to hotel. They do allow dine-in, but I expected it to be really crowded, so I just got it to-go.
Best waitress in town, delivering the best pizzas
Gonna start by saying we probably had one of the best looking people in Seattle as our waitress. She dished out service that two people would struggle to accommodate. She had the attitude of a star, everything was delivered with a graceful smile and she was running half the tables. She would be one of the few people who deserved a 20% tip in Seattle. Everyone else, I was being nice.
Enough about the waitress. You're here for pizza and pizza you will get. We came at happy hour so a biggish pizza each. Otherwise you order a pizza the size of a small planet. They even do a true vegan pizza which was basically hummus on a cracker, but at least they had one.
Other items on the menu, not just pizza.
Hip and charming. Great pizza. Service worth a visit. Would give this place 6 stars if I could.
Best pizza on the West Coast for sure!!! Try the Green Eggs & Ham, it was a GREAT surprise!!!
Literally my favorite place to visit while I'm in seattle. It's in a little hole in the gumwall at the market with a true divebar feel presenting a dark/musky but sophisticated atmosphere. The wood fired pizza and other appetizers are all delicious. Bartenders and servers are super chill. Worth checking out.
One of my top 2 favorite places for pizza. Unique and classic flavor profiles and great salads. Quirky old world seattle location is fun but also intimate. Children allowed before 7? Double check! There is no wheelchair access for the restroom but a ramp to enter the building is available but a steep grade.
Great vibe, good drinks, and some of the best pizza I've ever had. Def recommend the Pizza con Carne.
We ate this pizza 2 times during 3 days when we were in Seattle:)
We showed up really late but the staff was super friendly to all 3 of us. The pizza was delicious, the drinks were top shelf perfect, the atmosphere was just what we needed to unwind after a long day. Alibi Room is always a great late night go to.
Good pizza and beer in a great location. What else do you need? As a foreigner in Seattle for the first time it felt very authentic
Loved it! Happy hour was great. We had a small bacon blue cheese pizza... Amazing and well balanced. Did not realize the food would be so good here. Only 4 beers on draft :( bartender was friendly and had great recommendations for the rest of our travels.
Great pizzas and appetizers with great service.
Stopped for some pizza, which was good. Salad was good, too. Old bar, frankly has an odor of grease and soap I couldn't get over so won't be back. Staff was super friendly. Lots of what appeared to be regulars at the bar.
Living in Seattle during undergrad at UW, I was underage, so couldn’t visit the alibi room, but everyone that worked at Abercrombie downtown and the restaurant I worked out every summer, of age, always went there and spoke so highly of it, so when we got a place in Belltown after I finished law school, to visit every few years (from sf and then nyc/London), it was a great spot to finally visit being old!
We had heard horror stories of what Seattle had turned into with everyone fleeing to open states over the past two years, so when we flew back from Sydney to New York and London, we had to go through Los Angeles, so we visited our former home city of San Francisco and Seattle as well, and while everything else in both cities closed absurdly early, this place is still open until 2 AM! Obviously not rare in other countries right now, but very rare on the West Coast of America which has been the strictest we have encountered going to every continent but Antarctica as usual over the past two years.
We are definitely not Seattle types and stick out like a sore thumbs (and people hate us there, the USA south, Cape Town), and yet they are always friendly even though we don’t fit in, they have New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (which is pretty rare in Seattle and the West Coast in general, which focuses on local California and West Coast wines; occasionally you get some Italian wines which we don’t even drink when in Italy every year), well priced, and while it is maybe not a spot you would want to visit on a nice sunny day since it is very cozy and dark, that makes it perfect for the majority of the years Seattle weather!
I love this place! Jason our bartender was great. I bar was packed and he went out of his way to make sure we had a place to sit until our table was ready. The wait staff was on point. Tammy was our server and gladly split the checks for us. I was supried to see a downstairs dance area packed on my way to the bathroom. The pizza is some of the best in the city. We had a crab dip to start with, it was off the hook, the crab tasted fresh & I almost ordered one to go. I highly recommend this place for late night food, dance, and banging happy hour.
We had the sweetest waitress! I really liked her a lot! She was very attentive and was helpful with answering questions about food allergies (and they use really good ingredients in their pizza)
Their drinks were also delicious, great happy hour prices and REALLY good pizza.
Atmosphere was spectacular! Low lighting and an intimate setting. We arrived around 6:30 and the atmosphere was a little bit louder and different by the time we left. Green eggs and ham was an amazing pizza! Can't wait to go back next trip to Seattle!!!
This is a must when in Seattle. The pizza is some of the best you will ever have. The appetizers were great and the chopped salad for those looking for a healthier option is great ! To top it off the staff is spectacular!!! The owner was there and it’s easy to see that this is the reason this place is successful. He is a doll!!!! He keeps the place running like a “well oiled machine”. Can’t say enough about this place. Just go see for yourself!!
I am here on a Sunday night with some friends. There is a great atmosphere and the waitress was super nice to us. I also find it cool that the famous gum wall and pikes place are right by here. One pizza is definitely enough for two people, and the calzone is a hefty option for two.
This is a fun place to visit. It's directly across from the famous gum wall. They have good beer on tap and a full bar to make whatever cocktail you want. The happy hour food menu is great with $7 mini pizzas that are quite filling as well as other small dishes. The spicy macaroni was my favorite plate. The staff is nice and attentive. This will definitely be a common spot I visit often.
I love the location and vibe. Felt secretive and had awesome pizza! Simple little place but so good! Staff was great as well. I will be back!
A very cool place for lunch. Happy Hour starts at 11:30 so you can get a great lunch for low cost. A filling lunch for two only cost $17. Pizza was delicious and our waitress gave us great service. Loved the atmosphere as well.
A nice little hole in the wall dive bar. It's located directly across the germy gum wall at like Pike Place market. It's all exposed brick and wooden tables. They do make great pizzas that go well with beer. It's a nice half hidden place at the Market. Definitely worth trying it out!
This is my favorite place to eat in the market. Old school rock, rustic wood and brick setting, great service, cheep beers, amazing pies.... Right behind the gum wall. Don't miss it. This place is a treasure.
Awesome cozy spot which has been there since forever it seems like. Pizza, cocktails, camaraderie. Hiding under Pike Place market gives it a tinge of mystery
**SOBER REVIEW**
We stopped into this fun little pizza/bar spot located in the gum wall alley during happy hour. They have a great deal where you can get a small sized happy hour pizza for half the price of their regular pizza, which we totally went for.
I got the Greek pizza which was loaded with cucumber, feta, tomato, olives, and onions. It was like a garden on my pizza. I loved it. My husband got the classic pepperoni pizza "didn't have enough sauce on it, pepperoni was cooked perfect and great deal for happy hour."
What really stood out to me was the great service from our waitress who stayed on top of the whole place and still made us feel like we we're the only guests in the entire place.
I usually reserve five stars for places that are absolutely amazing, but this place is amazing in its humble way. A dark little bar with great pizza in a hidden corner of Pike Place market. Service, nice wine selection, full bar, very cozy. If you're at the market and need a place to chill, this is it.
Food was awesome , veggies were super fresh. Ambiance and music was great, and all the servers were super cool. Thanks for having us!
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent happy hour value. Alibi Room maintains truly inventive brick oven pizza options and a decent selection of beer and cocktails. Hidden behind a subtle doorway adjacent to the infamous gum wall, this restaurant happily repels the market tourist horde and is instead full of locals.
The atmosphere and staff are amazing! The apple and brie has got to be an all time favorite for me from any restaurant. The place is such a vibe.
Great pizza . Small but good
Great pizza! Easy walk to the State Hotel.
This place was a life saver a few years ago. We got out of the concert at the Showbox at midnight on a Tuesday hungry as hell, and no one else was open. So we found the alibi room. Best pizza I've ever had, and great service. I've been back twice since then. I'm 3 hours away and anytime I'm in Seattle this is the first place I go when I get hungry
Nice atmosphere and good service. There were a lot of good vegetarian options on the menu. The pizza was really good, but seemed a bit on the expensive side.
Delicious pizza. The mushroom pizza has amazing flavors. Good drinks and service - they comped a "slow" drink that I didn't even notice. My only complaint is it's a very dark and loud "night club" atmosphere
A dark, happening bar tucked away in an alley beside Pike Place Market, one of the late-night spots in an area that sleeps early.
Service was slow the night I was there, but the place was packed. The owner introduced himself to another couple and was surprisingly relaxed and convivial.
Drinks are reasonably priced.
Food didn't seem like typical pub-grub (not much on the menu suitable for eating at the bar). But I had the Spicy Mac & Cheese, and it was tremendous. Really good balance of spice, perfectly cooked mac, not too cheesy, and the whole thing served piping hot, perfect for a cold November day in Seattle.
Not a place to go in a hurry, but an interesting, non-touristy spot with good prices, and the owner on-premises. Recommended.
Awesome place to eat late night, if you are near Pikes. We arrive late into Seattle and was recommended by our host at Palihotel. The restaurant closes at 2 AM but the kitchen closes at 1 AM. It seems to specialize in pizza. We had the classic and Cesar salad. It came out to be around 40 bucks with tip but we didn't care cause we were hungry! The pizza and salad was good. When we arrived there wasn't alot of people so we sat ourselves and Tammy was pretty quick to get us the menu. She warned us that the kitchen was going to close in 2 min. So she quickly put our order in and we waited about 20min for our food to come out. Overall the experience was pleasant and I wouldn't mind coming again.
Some of the best pizza I have ever eaten!!! The Alibi room is one of those places I would prefer not give a review about as I would like to keep it a secret but this place deserves the credit they have earned. Tucked away behind the gum wall you would never know it even existed. The amazing appetizers and mixed drinks help add to the already mouthwatering menu. If you are a pizza connoisseur as myself you MUST visit the Alibi Room!!!!!
This place has awesome pizza! Great lunchtime menu. Many of their pizzas are unique with interesting combinations. I think the most important part of pizza is the crust, and their crust is really good. A must try for pizza enthusiasts.
So a little tricky to find... Great food great atmosphere
Ben and the lovely waitress, sorry never caught her name killed it. Almost full house and they didn't miss a beat. Hat's off. And the drinks were good too.
Enjoyed my visit. Server was friendly, the roasted broccolini was perfectly seasoned to showcase the vegetable itself.
Great place! We visited for lunch today with a larger party and they did a very good job finding space for us, getting the food out in a reasonable time frame, and the prices were very reasonable. Pizza was very good as well.
I adore their brie cheese appetizer plate with wine or whiskey. I honestly just go for their yummy apps and drink varieties. They are of course social distancing with limited seating. It gets pretty dark in there at dinner, creating the perfect ambiance on a chilly fall night. Alibi is a great escape from the ordinary.
It was good pizza, just not sure the price was worth it. $22 for a pie seems a little steep when it is barely enough to feed 2. The lighting is very dark. The bathrooms are pretty clean but dungeony. The stall door doesnt lock either.
Reservations are recommended on a Friday evening. It is a good place to go have a beer or bite to eat before a sporting event. The place is small but has a good atmosphere. It can get quiet busy so I suggest arriving early or calling to make reservations. Not many drink options unless you like beer but the food is incredible! I always get the spicy mac & cheese and the pizza is always to die for! This is definitely a hidden gem that can be easily overlooked specially with the all the tourist
Pizza was great. Beer was great. Fun spot by the gum wall. My only complaint is that it is SO LOUD in there. They need some sort of sound dampening. I could barely hear what the other people at my table were saying. It was PACKED, so this might only be a problem when they are at capacity.
We wandered into the Alibi Room for a belated dinner and were more than impressed. It was very busy when we walked in and the host moved a "reserved" sign off one of the only remaining tables to make a spot for us. The pizza was SUPERB. We had the four cheese, and requested that they add chicken to it. Our waitress forgot to pass the added chicken request on to the kitchen and within less than a minute of leaving the pizza at our table she walked back (before we had even noticed the missing ingredient) and apologized, taking full ownership for not telling the kitchen to add chicken. She offered to have them remake it for us, but we declined... the four cheese was totally delicious by itself. When we got our check, she had unexpectedly given us 50% off our pizza and one of our cocktails for free. Before we left she thanked us again for our extra patience with the order mistake. It was the definition of amazing service!
Incredible fun vibe when we visited around midnight Saturday night. We were able to be seated right away, pizza was delicious, crowd was lively & fun. Wish we'd had energy to check out the party downstairs, great music & looked like a TON of fun!
The staff are some of the best quality people you will meet. I normally go there during the week instead of the weekend. Their pizza desk is unreal and their pizzas are some of the best oven cooked pizzas in the game. They also have some diverse pizza options that you can get in the calzone. Close to the gum wall so you can kill two birds with one stone on visiting a one of a kind Seattle location.
Great pizza, great staff, great location next to the gum wall
Great pizza. Great service. Great attitudes. Don't miss this place... put it on your must do list.
Fantastic, cozy little place in Post Alley near the famous gum wall. They specialize in artisan pizzas that are very interesting and delicious. Really recommend the grape pizza. Drinks are decently priced and very tasty. The Fresca was incredible and a good value.
Fantastic pizza and salad! I wish I could have shared a photo but I devoured the salad and pizza too fast! Seriously—amazing flavor and fresh, quality ingredients! And customer service was 5-star all the way!
Had a business gathering here. It was a nice vibe.
This restaurant was great. Decent selection ofndrinks. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Spinach artichoke dip was fantastic. It was a little awkward to find but definitely definitely worth it.
We have been to the Alibi room a few times and each time the service experience is different. Sometimes you get a nice friendly efficient server, the next time a server that completely disappears and this last time a server that was 100% rude and clearly did not want to be there. It's to bad as the food is good and drinks are relatively stiff but management clearly needs to have some training on customer service. We felt like just our presence was an inconvenience to the two staff members that were present and it wasnt even that busy an evening!
Overrated. The pizza is OK the one with cilantro and chicken it taste like soup. And the Brie appetizer only has 2 pieces of Brie.... the waitress was nice that is why I gave them 3 stars. Seriously there is nothing special about this place and it's food. I thought it was amazing for all the reviews, but not. Paggliaci or Delfinos is way better
The Alibi Room had great happy hour specials...a mini signature pie for half...plus the location was right by the market. I heard about the gum wall, but had no idea that the Alibi Room was right off that "attraction". Service was great, as was the food. Seattle food is much more expensive than at home, so it was good to find a reasonable value. So good, that we visited twice during our trip.
Pretty cool hidden pizza place. Prices were reasonable, atmosphere was very dim. If you're looking for a slightly more cozy date spot, this would probably be a good one! It gets a little crowded as there aren't many tables, but they do accept reservations.
Vaccine required which was nice. Great atmosphere, about 10 beers to choose from on tap, pizza was incredible! Bathroom needs work.
Hard to find if you're not familiar with the area, but that kind of adds to the atmosphere. It's got a decidedly divey feel while still being a place you feel safe eating and drinking. The pizzas and calzones are excellent, and they allow you to make any specialty pizza into a personal size for half price. Only downside is that you might lose your appetite after walking past the gum wall on your way in.
Alibi Room was a place I had heard of for a long time but had never made it to. After leaving Locust, I was starving so before heading home I decided to stop by Alibi room which was definitely worth the stop. A friend and I ended up splitting the Chicken and Jalapeno pizza which was excellent. Just enough of a kick to make you take notice, and the crust is perfectly crispy. I also like that at least the upstairs is not too loud so that you can have a conversation without having to scream. Cool place to go to near Pike Place.
The atmosphere of this place is my favorite moreso than the pizza. The pizza is good, don't get me wrong, but tucked away in the catacombs of Pike Place (it's a semi-noticeable door across from the gumwall since Google can't get you to the front door) is just a cool vibe. Add in the ability to build your own calzones and its the right kind of different.
Visited for lunch, decent salads and fantastic pizza. Classic + garlic was fantastic.
Pizza was ABSOLUTELY amazing...probably the best pizza I've ever had. The prices were good, too. My husband had a beer and we had 1 full sized pizza, was only about 20.00. will definitely be back and recommend to our friends.
This is one of my favorite pizza places in Seattle. This is a great choice whenever you're in the Pike Place Market area. Great pizza and appetizers, nice bar, good happy hour options and prices.
This was a late night stop for us as this was one of that last bars open. I had a bit to drink andnit showed but they were very nice and had quick serive. On top of that the pizza was very good. The dip was good but not great. I would go back for the pizza for sure.
Cozy and cute place to dine in. We tried their Truffle Tre fungi pizza and everything was just perfect about it. Their crusts are light enough to bring all the topping flavors in the pizza
open late ... good pizza and pleasant atmosphere from like 1980s style but to pricey
Good food, but did get our order wrong. My wife is allergic to cheese and we requested no cheese, but they included cheese anyway.
Mistakes happen. We would go back.
This is one of my absolute favorite spots for a "custom" pizza in town. Really fun bartenders, good people watching, and a mix of locals and tourists make this a place you shouldn't miss. Andouille sausage and peppers pie is the jam.
It is a great lunch spot. Dark, not too full. The personal pizzas are good, but their sandwiches are great. The meatball sandwich is my primary go-to. It's not a "5-star must go", but rather a "5-star...I can't imagine what they would do better."
This was a stop along the way during my bachelor party. Was blown away by the appetizer food. Especially the garlic dish and white bean hummus. Drinks were excellent too! Was told by the bartender that they source a majority of menu items directly from the market, which is super cool. Very friendly. Part of the gum wall and a great place to stop in while visiting the market.
Im here visiting from out of state, this place is amazing
Friendly staff, great late night pizza, intimate little restaurant. Great for both a date night or dinner.
Great Pizza here, very yummy 😋 ,and the Beer selection is pretty good 👍, I try to order a different type of beer 🍺 every visit, and I've been lucky enough to eat super tasty Pizza and Beer, I Highly recommend The Alibi Room for some tasty pies and beer. Thanks for your patience and wonderful service, the staff did an awesome job helping us. Enjoy everyone.
Great pizza establishment, enjoyed everything. A seat yourself kind of place, but service is quick and friendly. Sat down and within a few minutes had waters, menus. Food came out in a timely manner, appetizers first and then pizza. Bruschetta tasted fresh and had a wonderful balance of flavor, with fresh toasted bread. Had the chicken and jalepeno, excellent balance of fresh, spicy and mildly savory. Leftover bruschetta went amazingly with the pizza crusts. I will definitely return here for pizza!
Fast friendly service, dropped in with my husband since we were out & about being tourists. Pizza was delivered to our table fast and had great crust.
This place is near the alley with all the gum!! Lmao. Enjoy.
During my daytime visit we had a toddler with us, and the staff created a children's plate of bread and apples for us, off menu. Their actual menu items were delicious and very reasonably priced, and their consideration pushed them over the top! (Their adult drinks are quite delicious, also)
This was a good find in Seattle for lunch. It's a busy place but they got 8 of us a table and handled our demands for food and drink well. The staff were really attentive in spite if the full tables. The bar provided for a nice selection of drinks to keep us cheerful. Don't mind the gun on the wall as you enter.
Great pizza 🍕 spot open late not far from t mobile park …
Gluten free pizza done just right. Tasty drinks served and drank in good lighting. Staff is fun, cool and knowledgeable. Come and get some
Enjoy
The potato chorizo pizza was incredible. they carry my favorite rum, which was awesome, and the bartender was super friendly, even though he had to visit four times before we could make up our minds!
This place is an absolute must if you've never been - the pizza tastes great and the atmosphere is intimate (German's would say gemuetlich). When it gets later the music can get loud, so you might not be able to converse below shouting level - so go early for your evening pizza and sweet-talk, and go later for a few beers and shouting across the table to your friends - it's still great fun! (And great pizza) Don't dress up - it's too dark to really notice anything anyway - and come on - this is Seattle!
If you are looking for a blend of gourmet and standard GOOD pizza and decent draft beers, this is the place in downtown Seattle. We enjoyed some local beers and a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese that was both traditional and a little fancy. Ask for Gretchen; she was friendly, quick, gave solid recommendations and pointed us to the next brew pub!
After 7 years the Alabi Room is still my favorite hole in the wall bar and resteraunt in Seattle. The pizza and drinks are a bit pricey but well worth it. The atmosphere is perfect. I don't have anything bad to say about this place.
We got here right as it opened on Sunday. No line or wait. Service was great, very friendly and the pizza was pretty good. Very crispy crust!
Fun unique atmosphere. Fabulous pizza. Very good service
Great pizza. Loved the atmosphere. Staff were most attentive and very friendly
Excellent wood-fired artisan pizza’s, cool old brick city vibe, awesome service. It’s right downtown in Post Alley, convenient to Pike Market, the waterfront, and many things of that bustling part of town!
It was our first time there. The restaurant was relatively dark. Food (cheese pizza) was okay. Atmosphere was louder than what I was looking for. With so many food options in Seattle, I doubt I'll go back, but we will see.
GREAT ENVIRONMENT, MESSED UP OUR ORDER BUT COMPD'T. DEFINITELY REDEEMED THEMSELVES.
Fig, goat cheese, and prosciutto pizza was great!
Fantastic pizza! It's downstairs from the "flying fish"...the Ceaser salad was the perfect size and the pizza was great! Nice to see it made right in front of you. Doug the bartender and Lauren our waitress was UHMAZING! Coming back fo sho! 😊👍 …
The food was delicious. We were there during Happy Hour and ordered mini pizzas. The size was perfect and at half the price of their regular pizzas.
Great atmosphere, awesome pie, fresh hummus and we loved the spooky playlist
We came here for drinks, dessert, and dancing for a friend's birthday. The drinks were okay, nothing especially breathtaking but adequate. The brie and apple plate and cheese and meat plate were pretty, well arranged, and generous enough for several people to share after supper. The quadruple chocolate cheesecake is small but sweet and tasty. The server was friendly, helpful, and upbeat despite the packed restaurant.
The dancing and DJ... not my style. We had heard that the music was 80s and 90s dance and hip hop, and what we actually received was a bunch of hip hop that probably rarely got played in those decades. The beats were good, but nobody knew the songs or found them especially fun to dance to. At 11pm the bar was packed with dancers. By 11:30, the bar had emptied of most except for 25-30 people - 9 of whom were from our group. The DJs probably rotate, so I would be willing to try it again, if the DJ intends to play dance music rather than random hip hop. Go for the food and drinks upstairs and the semi-speakeasy experience, but move to a better club for dancing.
Long time HH patron, it's always a great time. Recently hosted a private event for a friends birthday, it was a great experience working with their Manager Corey and the bartender working with us day of, Ben was fantastic. Both provided amazing service, all I had to do was show up with our birthday cake and Ben took care of the rest! I cant wait to host my next event with them!
Very well done pizza 🍕 and I like all the variety in the menu. The service was great and we get a discount because we were vaccinated. A must try. …
Friendly staff.
Very good happy hour pizza. They're on my happy hour list now.
Cool spot in the heart of the market. Quality wood fired pizzas.
Great service! Amazing food! It was served pretty fast, too! And the drinks were strong! We came at 10pm on a weekday & had the whole place to ourselves. It was great!!
It's cozy and dark with a wonderful vibe! Perfect place to end your late night before heading home in the ferry down the block!
Really lovely hole-in-the (Gum) wall pizza joint. The atmosphere is great, their hustle is fantastic, and the pizza was top tier.
The first (and only time) I went here, I spent about 10 minutes trying to find it on the map, when I realized it's literally a hole in the wall. The atmosphere when you first enter is low key, and reminiscent of an old tavern. A delightful environment with good food, definitely a good place to eat while you're at Pike Place.
Excellent pizza, although it is not the great New York pizza. Still it was very good pizza. The bar is beautiful and very inviting. The service was awesome and the atmosphere friendly. I will be returning.
Amazing restaurant tucked away in an alley behind an inconspicuous door with a tiny sign. Don't let that fool you tho. Pizzas are hand made and fire baked. Nice selection of beer as well. Definitely a must try
The thin crust mini-pizza is just the right size for one person. They are very flavorful and reasonably priced. The place is hidden behind the Gum wall.
Great spot with a number of brews and a few colorful regulars. The pizzas are popular and the have regular restaurant seating in addition to the bar.
Restrooms are downstairs which can get annoying after a few trips, but at least your beer comes with a workout.
The pizza was incredible. I had a mushroom truffle pizza since they don't have many meat substitutes but it was delicious. The ambience is really nice as well.
Loved this place! Our Margherita pizza was delicious! The vibe is very laid back and everyone was very friendly. Definitely go here if you want off the beaten path. (tourist visiting seattle)
Dark, dank hole in the wall to get some good and unique pizzas and interesting cocktails.
They manage to do this without coming off as pretentious in that hipster way that a lot of places do, which is really surprising.
Good spot for a date, can get rowdy and loud on weekends.
They do live music downstairs I believe, typically EDM DJ type stuff.
Main draw back is that it can get stuffy when it's crowded and the bathroom situation leaves a lot to be desired, but that's a lot of places downtown so you get used to it.
This is the second time that we have gone here while visiting Seattle and I will go every time! Happy hour is great, half price pizzas,$4 beer on tap, it was great. Get away from the tourist traps and treat yourself to an excellent lunch or dinner
Great time! Great drinks! Great pizza! Great service! Left my phone their and they ran out to give it to me :)
Cool atmosphere and good pizza. Service was awesome.
Ran in here when starving from the visit at the gum wall. Really good service and pleasantly surprised with the food. Happy hour had 1/2 price mini pizzas which weren't really that mini at all.
Great venue if you venture this far.
Awesome atmosphere. Great food. Make your way here for a delicious pizza
The pizza we got here was amazing. Also we got the crab dip, also amazing. Fun atmosphere. Our waitress was adorable. Full of energy and great personality.
Really nice place. Great and friendly staff. Food is very good. Had the the apple & brie apetizer and pizza con carne. Wow! Didn't have a pizza that good in a while! Definitely recommend that place.
Great drinks and pizza in a cool space
I came in on a Saturday evening. The place was jumping. It was just me. The hostess and waiter were so nice. Had a drink and an amazing pizza. The ambiance is amazing. I will defin6come back at a time thats not so busy.
A very good place!
Delicious menu, especially their reasonably priced personal-pizza pies during lunch and happy hour. A great place just outside the middle of the Pike Place action to have lunch with colleagues or friends.
Pizza is great! And thank goodness for the gf option! It was the best I've had in Seattle so far! We will be back!
Cool place. Greet beer. Great staff. Rest rooms are from the 17th century. The decor is very basic. Some local work friends said it was a "dive bar". I thought it was pretty good. I guess it depends on your definition of 'dive bar'.
This is literally the best pizza I’ve ever had in my entire life. I will continue to come back here forever 💓💓💓💓💓 …
I have been coming here for years and love this place. Best gf pizza of my life!! Austin made my night tonight, what a total sweetheart!!
The service was warm and welcoming. My niece took me to compare to NYC pizza. I was impressed. Cool ambiance. Only con no indoor restrooms.
Hideout in the midst of Pike place market. Cozy and quiet perfect for a romantic date. Their pizza was absolutely delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend it!!
Staff was friendly even after midnight when our show let out. The apple and brie appetizer was delicious. It was a little bit chilly in there and I was glad to have had my jacket.
Quirky little spot tucked away in the alley, drinks were pretty spot on. Well crafted and moderately priced. Its a shame i was too full going there because the mac and cheese definitely caught my eye!
Just the location gets it a few stars. Love to bring people here that haven't been, it's never expected. The pizza is tasty as well as the bar and the prices aren't outrageous
Quiet little nook of a place right off the gum wall. I saw this place on Google Maps and came here because of the show Shameless! But I will come back for MANY reasons! Good food! Good staff! Good tunes! AND NO TV'S!!! Meaning not busy during sporting events. It's a rare find in Seattle!
Good fast service right until I wanted the bill...which isn't a bad thing. Capers were amazing. Pizzas are simply and tasty. Plus one of the few places you can find a good Red beer in this state
This place was super fun! Was in the city for the night for my anniversary and downstairs is where it's LIVE! the music was amazing everyone was dancing and having a great time. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back for another night.
Hands down My Favorite place to hang in Seattle. The food is delicious. & it ranges from simple cheese plates to elaborate & amazing pizza like my favorite combination grapes blue-cheese & prosciutto. They top it off with a sweet balsamic reduction. Yum I'm in heaven. All of the sandwiches are amazing in their own unique way. The booze selection is no joke either. The bar seems to be filled with Gems that you don't usually see. Like a Scotch I love called Talisker, & a rum I'm in love with called Flor de Caña. All the taps are local as well. So finding NW exclusive beers like Mannys isn't a stretch. (It's always on tap) another cool aspect is the aesthetic. Cool brick walls and archways. & amazing car decking ceiling in the upstairs. And a dance floor downstairs. You can cut a rug, or sit quietly Reading one of the film scripts that they have on hand. But far and away the best aspect of this place is the service. Kind, fast, & able to handle weird situations! Like a party of fraternity brothers in the bar area & wholesome families on the dining floor.
I absolutely love this place. Five Stars
Adorable. Great little area of town, nice bar, great service. Had a delicious pie here and a couple beers. Was traveling solo and enjoyed being able to hang out in a chill spot and eat something delicious. Would definitely visit again.
I love this hidden gem in the market. A friend brought me here for the first time in 1994 and I fell in love with the place. The Alibi Room is one of the places I recommend to all friends visiting Seattle. Can be very busy at times so I would not recommend if you are looking for a quick meal or drink. My favourite pre-funk place if going to a show at the Showbox....
The Alibi Room is fun bar, made pretty good cocktails and reasonably priced beer. Quieter bar and restaurant area on main floor and Live DJ with dancing, loud music and a separate bar in the basement.
Did not eat anything but the people next to me said the food was good.
Love the atmospheres. I did not get the waitress name(sorry) but the whole entire time I was there she was all smiles great customer service for everyone. Food? DELICIOUSNESS. JUST GO!
Good local thin crust pizza with very good selection of toppings and some interesting appetizer choices. An OK selection of beers (considering the location in Pike Market area).
A bit pricey from pizza, but the pizza was aaaammazinng! Hands down this is the best pizza I've ever eaten! 4 stars bc it was pricey and rather dark! I had to use the light on my phone to see menu and it was 5pm!
This place is great, very cool/relaxed atmosphere. The prices aren't inflated for being right down town. We have come in for beers after the game and for cocktails with the ladies, food is alway top knotch. Also the guy who checks your ID has a world class mustache! Two thumbs up from us.
Great hole in the wall bar. Great pizza.
We ordered pizza, it was very good, lots of flavor. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because it was very expensive. 2 pizzas ran about $50.
Good happy hour and really cool atmosphere, one of the best hole in the wall pizza places in Seattle 👍
The pizza is delicious and the customer service is awesome 👌 There is many other things to eat around it but, get them a shot. Highly recommend …
The pizza here is amazing!!! Great place for late-night drinks. You HAVE to try their spicy mac and cheese. I'm craving it now just talking about it. Go!
Tried the Spinach, mushroom and Feta pizza and loved it! The owner is warm and welcoming. Will definitely come back again!
Great pizza. Margherita with anchovies was amazing. High quality service with a smile. A little hard to find - downstairs. Check it out.
Such a gem in the emerald city! Incredibly delicious pizza, food and brews and don't tell anyone about the salads lol located at the gum wall Definitely worth checking out folks. Seattles finest
Fantastic pizza. Nice crispy crust, and good drinks. I've never ordered anything I didn't end up liking here.
Had the jalapeño chicken pizza pie... Terrific brick fired pizza, with an atmosphere that will bring me and who ever I can drag back everything I find myself within 50 miles. It's like a precious little hidden gem hidden literally off from the hustle and bustle of Pike's market, right across the alley from the gum wall... I've probably passed it a dozen times without ever knowing it was here.
First time back since the covid and they are still outstanding. Great spot! Had the happy hour spicy mac, delicious.
Happy Hour all day till 6. Great deal on pizzas which were very good.
Awesome location very friendly staff great atmosphere
Nice, quirky place with great pizzas, good priced wine and a great atmosphere. The bar area looked good for drinks even if you didn't want to eat.
Very good food, and drinks. Decent happy hour and selection. Waitresses were great, it is a little cramped but no big deal nothing to complain about. Give it a try it's in a great location.
If you are in the market and want a drink... Go here... If you want to share some plates with friends... Go here... If you want to throw a surprise party.. You can book the basement and just show up to the joint with the honorary guest and walk them down to the surprise... P.s. best ever place for a surprise party due to the extensive sharing menu. Pizza is bomb. Photo by the #gumwall got u covered. Please. Please. Please. If u want a drink in the market, or pizza... Shared food..,, go here. Also
There is an underground improv theatre across the ally that is to for for if you need an excuse...
Great pizza and close to the market. Happy hour from open till 3pm or 4pm. Get in early because lunch crowd from the market is busy in the summertime.
Love their pizza selections and rotating local art for sale on the walls. One of the few late night spots you can order food and enjoy a good beer or cocktail downtown.
Super cool hidden gem! Friendly staff and great service and food. Perfect stop before a show.
Friendly staff, very good food
Casual pub perfect to hang out with colleagues after work. Serve really tasty pizzas as well.
The food and atmosphere were phenomenal. Had the chopped salad, spicey mac and cheese and the pepperoni and sausage pie. Everything was great!!
Super fun speakeasy, but the alcohol selection was slim for a place dedicated to drinking.
Great pizza and service
Great place, the bathroom is terrible.
One of my Top 5 places to get pizza from, its is a small restaurant but the food makes it worth being cramped. Good prices for High quality pizza
Just a great place to grab a drink and pizza, always hits the spot
A nice little hideaway deep in the Pike Market. All day happy hour with nice well drinks. Food is excellent too. If you want to hide somewhere and have a few, try this place!
Good happy hour and a really chill spot on the edge of pike place market. Good beers on tap and the atmosphere is real chill. I'll definitely be going back!
They have amazing pizza!
Found this place just looking for a quick place close to our hotel. Right next door to the gum wall and very easy to fund in pikes market.
Had a great time here last week, good pizza and drinks. I would recommend trying the breakfast pizza and the dance area down below after you eat and drink.
I'm hesitant to rate this place. It's a perfect little paradise full of beer and pizza tucked away behind the gum wall, and everytime we've ever gone we walked right in and got a table. Just don't tell too many people about it.
Great service, hamd tossed pizza, fun place
Amazing pizza in Seattle, and I am from Chicago. Great happy hour deals as well. Overall great service and experience.
Great pizza. Small place, but I was there for a private party that had rented out the downstairs for a few hours. It was a very good time.
An unexpected treat. Low key and chill.
Had a nice late dinner, open late. Evelyn was an awesome hostess, wish there were more like her!
Went here on an evening walk & hungry! We are foodies, & what a gem! Absolutely fabulous.Thin crust, cooked to perfection! A must try! You will not be disappointed!
Cool venue. Yummy food. And pretty cool that they host an art show there.
Cool atmosphere & good pizza. It's kind of hard to find but definitely worth checking out. It's a refreshing getaway from the usually Pike Place craziness as well.
Not enough good things to say about the place... Awesome pours and prices on drinks, and the pizzas and creative food options can't be beat.
This is the only restaurant I HAVE to hit when I'm in Seattle... do yourself a favor and check it out!
Great pizza and one of my favorite lunch spots. Great deals for lunch happy hour. Try the Green Eggs and Ham pizza. Solid beer and liquor selection as well.
Amazing vibe. Amazing staff, super friendly. Strong covid precautions. Thank you! And most importantly outstanding food!! Highly recommended
A great place to grab a drink and relax. Friendly waiters and good music.
My favorite bar in the Pike Place Market. If you can make it through the tourists snapping pics at the gum wall you will be rewarded with a dark, warm, moody bar.
The Alibi Room was my favorite stop while in Seattle. Located across from the gum wall and semi-underground, the atmosphere is old and filled with a more local 20-40's crowd. Loved sitting at the bar and enjoying tap beers & awesome fire wood pizza & focaccia bread served with olive tapenade! Attentive bartender with good advice on some other stops in the area.
Great food! Awesome pizza! Good salads! Happy Hour menu. Service was excellent!
Lovely. Really lovely. Good, undemanding food and drinks in a superb location with the right atmosphere.
Hard to find and I love them for it! Absolutely delicious pizza. Big portions for decent price. So good.
Not only does the Alibi Room 100% live up to it's name, it delivers on the authentic Seattle experience; to be accepted for who you are, shown hospitality, and graciously gifted bites of freedom in the form of craft pizzas spun by hands of revolution.
Love the food and staff here! Good prices and wonderful service. My go-to pizza joint in Seattle!
The food was great but
I think this place is a little understaffed. They were very friendly though
Great food. Wasnt too busy and no one came to refill my water glass or would be 5 star. But nice environment for a date.
Great atmosphere, decent drinks, good spot to chill out.
The food was great! Service was great! We had salads and bruschetta and would recommend both!!
Great pizza!
Awesome pizza, stumbled on this place as the city has very few options at midnight on a Wednesday...an absolute hidden gem and it was so good... Thank you alibi for taking away my hangreyness !
Good service, classy joint. Little expensive but the pizza is EXCELLENT. OK beer list. More of a cocktail joint
Wonderful pizza and salads, dark and industrial atmosphere, can be overly loud especially if there's a private party downstairs. Great for groups
Cozy, good pizza - wait staff was very attentive and pleasant!
Great pizza and other good beer food in a historic bar. Good customer service as well in a lively setting.
Great atmosphere in a fantastic space with superb pizza. The Green Eggs and Ham pizza was spectacular.
Perfect escape from the congestion that can build up. Great atmosphere and service brings be back inside when I town. I'm sure things are slightly different during covid-19.
Outstanding pizza. The green eggs and ham was BOMB!
Hidden gem of pike place market. Nice ambiance, one of best pizza ever had, good service. Would like to visit again
Great vibe, great staff, great food
Dim lower level bar not far from the Gum Wall. The happy hour pizza is a good deal and high quality.
Amazing food, nice atmosphere with good background music. The place is dark, maybe the only drawback for some. Great service. Will definitely go back!
Love at first slice. Want a unique and delicious pizza? Reccomend the green eggs and ham pizza. Great spot.
Pike Place Market's best hidden secret. Just past the fish mongers and down the stairs. Great for first dates and hipster watching. Or is that just another Rockstar having a pre-show Moscow Mule before his/her gig later that night at the Showbox in the Market.
This is a very quaint, very romantic, very cool late night bar hangout. The staff is excellent, the food is good and the beer even better. Highly recommended, especially late nights.
Let it be known that I was here on October 11 with awesome friends. Drinks and the pizza were fantastic, great atmosphere and even better music.
Cool hidden away pizza parlor. Drinks were good. Service was great. Located in the him alley near Pikes Place Market.
Tried chicken jallepano pizza couple of times from here overall test is good but they have consistency issue, someday is good someday is below average
Unexpectedly great pizza. It is tucked away near the gum wall, which hides it from the traffic. Over all it feels very cozy.
Great staff, tasty food and drinks and one of the best lunch deals in the Pike Place area: $15 gets you a personal pizza with several toppings from a long list of good stuff, a pint of beer w/ tip included.
Amazing food, great service, AND the DJ on Saturday night was seriously good and the crowd was really fun. The dance party was on!
Cosy, chill, and friendly on a Thursday night. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Beer is reasonably priced, food is a bit on the steep side, but it's tourist town, whaddya expect?
Fabulous gluten free Greek pizza and nice selection of beverages, very kind staff. Cozy atmosphere.
I might move to Seattle just so I can wake up every day to ride the monorail train and eat at this place.
Loved it! Food and beer were Delicious!
Great pizza. Robust sauce flavor. Great spice pepperoni. Nice wine list. Excellent service
This place has awesome pizza, decent beverages and a good atmosphere. Check it out.
Great location to grab a drink or food before a show. Prices are pretty high (you're paying for the gum wall/market cache) but outside of that great location.
A literal hole-in-the-wall, this place has exceptional pizza and beer. It's a great little spot to escape the chaos of Pike Place
I love this place. Very cool atmosphere and great pizza!
Had chicken jalepeno pizza and white hummus. Good ambiance and both the dishes were awesome in taste. Staff was friendly.
