Reviews of Los Andes

A must stop if you’re in the Providence area! There is definitely a reason why this restaurant is on all the top 10 lists of restaurants around this area.
Make sure if you go to make a reservation or just get there early because the wait can be long during peak times. We went in the summer and told us that they would only have tables outside for wait list, so keep that in mind. There is also a valet so you don’t have to worry about parking, which is nice.
The service was phenomenal and the food came out so quick. The drinks were also fantastic; we got the pink sangria and it was very refreshing for a hot day.
The Parmesan clams were so good, I wanted to eat the entire plate. The lobster paella and the panchamanca Del Mar were both delicious as well. We saw a lot of steaks pass by us along the way and they looked and smelled so great. I would recommend anything we got and also a steak as well.
I’d highly recommend coming here even for special occasions if you’re in the area!

Fantastic meal. Have not been in years, and a lot has changed since the last time I visited. Food was amazing as expected, but for me the most impressive part of the experience was the service. We were greated by each staff member we passed, and each person that helped us at our table in any capacity was kind and helpful! Our waiter had the perfect cadence of visiting our table, very helpful with the menu and recommendations, and even had our dessert decorated for our special celebration. Food and drinks came very quickly and the attentive wait staff were always quick to clear empty plates. This was the best dining experience I have had in a long time!!!

I really try to be very aware of handing out 5-star reviews, but this place really deserves it. It's been awhile since I last visited Los Andes and I cannot believe how much its grown. The restaurant feels like it takes up an entire city block so you know they're doing something right. The drinks were all incredible. My girl could not say enough good things about the Brazilian daiquiri and, of course, the food did not disappoint either. The restaurant pays attention to every little detail and it's easily recognizable, from the garnish in a drink to the presentation on the plate. My only complaint was our waiter. He had to come back a second time for our orders for some reason, but it wasn't a huge deal. We were in one of the igloos with good company so we were in no rush. If you're in Providence for just one night and am looking for something a little different, this should be your choice.

Visiting a friend at Brown and the service is amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and will do their best to cater to you. Gabriel was our server and he is very professional, one of the best waiters I’ve had. If you have not been, I would definitely make a stop here, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! I will let the pictures do the talking. The only drawback is that the lobster paella shouldn’t come with the sausage. The saltwater fish tank is spectacular and as a fellow fish keeper, their tank is very well kept and the livestock are all healthy.

First time and it's now my new favorite place! The food was absolutely delicious! The drinks were so tasty. Everything from the bread and oil to the appetizers to the entrees were flavorful. For appetizers, we had the stuffed mushrooms as well as the short rib empanadas. For the entree I had the blackened salmon and my husband had steak. The waitress was very nice and informative. The dessert menu sounded fantastic but we were so stuffed from our meal that I will have to try something from the next time. The area dedicated for outdoor seating was beautiful. The indoor seating was very nice as well, the lighting was perfect and the decor was giving such a relaxed vibe. We will definitely be back very soon!

Our experience at Los Andes was incredible! The service was amazing and he was so kind and helpful with the menu. The ambiance was filled with positive energy, which makes sense because the food was unlike anything we've ever had! Definitely one of the best meals all around.
I ordered a margarita that was so tasty, we ordered the calamari which was delectable, and our main courses were absolutely divine. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu and the dessert, the tiramisu, really was a perfect ending to everything!
Our night was incredible and we couldn't stop talking about it after we left. Los Andes is a true gem and if you ever get the chance to go, GO!!!! We're from NY and we would literally drive to RI just for this place.
Thank you to everyone at Los Andes!!!

My family and I celebrated a graduation here with 13 guests. I need to emphasize how impeccable the service and food is here! The owner was very accommodating to our changes in schedule. The staff were friendly and communicative. Nobody skipped a beat. Our glasses were always full along with our bellies!
I had the lobster paella which was perfect. We also had the chicken wings for starters. The calamari was better than most calamari I have ever tasted. The portions for every dish are double the size of standard portions at other restaurants which I loved. I enjoyed every bit of my stay here and would highly recommend it!

In town for business and stopped into what's one of the best restaurants in the area. Absolutely wonderful food, drinks, and atmosphere, especially with the live music. I got the chef's cocktail of the week, however I also regret not getting the sangria as it looked very delicious!
They have a valet service that is complimentary however tips are appreciated. Parking is pretty difficult otherwise.

We went here for an early dinner and were accommodated with no reservation, but were seated inside. I'm thinking maybe you need a reservation to sit outside but didn't ask. The service was great, staff checked on us often, refilled water, and were very attentive. Food came out so fast. Margaritas were good, and food was awesome. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

We made a reservation and valet parked at the side of the restaurant. It was quick and easy. The restaurant seems much smaller from the outside, but once you enter, it is huge. The staff was very friendly and we were seated quickly (even though we arrived an hour earlier than our reservation time). We were seated next to the pond with many koi fish which our kids loved. The food was phenomenal and deserving of every 5 star review it has been given. Also our server Antonio was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely come back even though we live almost an hour away!

Hands down the best Peruvian food I've ever had. I'm so sad they are so far away from me. The food was amazing, the service was great, the restaurant setting was beautiful. I have no negative things to say about this place. Best flan I've ever had (we had to order two at the restaurant and we got one to-go), tender grilled meats, sweet plantains, and fluffy rice. Trust me, you're missing out if you don't give this place a shot. Definitely in my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time.
Tania Amaya
The food is absolutely phenomenal. What makes this place even better is the service they provide.
The food portions are huge and worth every penny. Come here for a good time and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere while listening to some live music ❤️🔥 …

Delicious food and great place to enjoy with friends and family. I love the seafood items that I tried at this restaurant. I have been here 2 times and loved it both times. Needless to say, I’d love to be back and introduce this gem to friends if they are visiting Providence. Make your reservation! The wait can be long but it is worth it.

I was visiting Providence and this place kept coming up as one of the best places to eat. Rarely does a place with this many reviews and high of rating live up to the expectations but it did.
The place was huge with a vast amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Their staff was super friendly and inviting.
The octopus appetizer was amazing but the short rib empanada was the best empanada I’ve ever had. We got the surf and turf for the main entree and every part of it was delicious.
A must stop if you’re in the area.

First off, wonderful service. Second, drinks were on point. The sour and kiwi drink. The paella was well cooked and the amount of seafood was appropriate. Also ordered the lomo saltado and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend maybe a third less rice and maybe more of the protein/fries. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and the aquarium with the variety of fish were a nice touch for the patrons dining indoors.

Been multiple times. Great Southern American cuisine & service. Definitely upscaled Latin culture in my opinion but 5/5 stars. I've had multiple dishes & drinks with my girlfriend. I'll post some of the photos I have of their dishes.

Amazing Bolivian/ Peruvian food ! The ambience was superb, our hostess was really sweet - gave us good suggestions and helped us to choose dishes (it was our first time trying our Peruvian food). The service was really quick.
There is valet parking available as well as you can park on the street if there is a spot.
It is a must go place!!

Great food. They have expanded and renovated. This place is awesome. Outdoor seating is very nice with live music. You cannot go wrong here. Great place to celebrate an event

Who knew Peruvian food could be so delicious. One of my favorite restaurants in the Providence area. Consistently good. Steak los Andes, chicken los Andes and Calamari for the win. Place doesn't look special from the outside, but once you step inside you escape to a magical place. Very good food and excellent service.
Thang Phu
Beautiful venue, delicious food, good service, good value, absolutely must try. We went with a group and tried many dishes on their menu. The lobster and seafood paella was fantastic and was my favorite. I also enjoyed their ceviche and baked chicken with mushrooms. The server seemed a bit newer and had some trouble keeping up with our requests, but he checked in very often so it helps remedy most of the issues.
Some minor grievances from my experience here:
1) We got a pitcher of sangria, and they brought the pitcher out, but forgot about our glasses for a good 5 minutes
2) The server made a mistake and gave the standard ceviche and mixto ceviche (which included octopus) to the wrong people and they ate it before the mistake was addressed. This was bad, but it's an understandable mistake since the dishes look very familiar. The restaurant should establish an easier way to recognize the dish - they serve it on the same plate. From my photos, the only way to really notice it is the small sauce container being available on one but not the other.
3) One of our friends asked for a water refill 3 times over 10 minutes before actually getting it. Yes, it's understandable that the restaurant can get quite busy, but please be more attentive.
JoAnn Brown
Los Andes is phenomenal!! If you're in the Providence area, check out this gem. Atmosphere and service is awesome. Our bartender was lively and made the tastiest Morada Mules. The food was spectacular. We'll definitely be back and bringing friends

For much of the past 15 years this has been my favorite Rhode Island restaurant.
Somewhere on the internet a previous Google review must survive.
Do to the covid years it took almost 3 years to return to, but this visit was in the planning for over 6 months.
Since my last dinner date there, the restaurant which has seen continued growth and several steps of physical expansion has maintained their ability to feed you extremely well and service your culinary desires with a supportive staff.
What started as a couple rooms and a beautiful large fish tank, has become a maze of settings and areas. Since this visit was after dark on a crisp fall Sunday evening I didn't get to visit every cranny but got an over view of some of the changes during my absence and its growth.
The place was busy for sure. As always reservations are recommended.
We were seated in a new room, so for us older fans it took a few minutes to adjust.
But once we settled in the charm of the brother/owners, the waitress assigned to us and the food reassured us that at its core my favorite restaurant remains just that!!
Tiffany Hooks
Outstanding! I've heard so many great things and finally got a chance to try it myself. The food was delicious, innovative, and very authentic to the south american cuisine. Being sat near the koi pond made the ambiance more romantic. Appreciated the valet service. Can't wait to go back again!
Rich Pearson
Amazing food and service! Was told almost hour wait and got us in roughly 15mins. Staff was amazing and steaks some of the best we have ever eaten. Highly recommend!
Branson Machen
Superior customer service and cuisine! Los Andes serves as a trademark establishment in Providence as they never fail to please every customer. The food was phenomenal, the portions are large, and the staff are experts at their craft. Valet parking is also available! Highly recommended for diplomats, friends, families, and anyone looking for a superb meal and outing. I'll be back for sure. 👍🏾
Erica Kahn
Literally my favorite restaurant in the world! I know that sounds hyperbolic, but the flavors and overall quality of every meal I’ve had at Los Andes blew me away! The owners are so kind and the overall service is amazing! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!
Melissa M Parsons
I haven't been here in a while however the food is still amazing and the atmosphere and renovations are absolutely beautiful! So quaint!! Service is always done with a smile and our waitress was amazing! Wish I remembered her name 😕
Rafi Singer
Absolute stunner of a restaurant. The type of meal you can't help but eat slowly as the multitude of flavors unfold. Perfect service.
And I'll add a little thing that seems small, but is probably big. As we approached the restaurant, two employees were scrubbing off the container which likely would receive spent cooking oil outside. Care in both front and back of house is big.
Edgar Maldonado
Found this place on phantom gourmet. Boy what a find! Their website doesn’t do it justice. The place was super nice. The ambience was excellent! Way better than expected. The service was excellent! Extremely attentive. Wife wanted to try their paella which was fantastic! We stared with what we thought was the best calamari we have ever had! The pink sangria was super good! I had the los andes pollo. Besides the fries being soaked I thought was very tasty. Not a cheap meal but we Highly recommend!
Costa P
The food was really good. One of the best ceviches I've had since visiting Peru. Lobster paella was spot on. The only part I didn't like were the drinks. I've tried two, pisco and Don Julio margarita, both missed. They need to work on that
Alex Elmassih
5 star. If I could I would give 10 stars. We where seated by one of the owners Omar, extremely friendly, super welcoming. Our waitress Mamadu was amazing. Enjoyed every bite, Definitely coming back!

I went for the first time after hearing so many amazing things and it did not disappoint. It was easily the best meal I’ve had in RI since moving here. John our waiter was the best. He knew the menu inside and out, so friendly and gave us the best recommendations. Everything looked so good that I told him to surprise me for my entree and he nailed it. John + the food + the drinks made this experience wonderful!!!!!!!
Kayla Marie
Food was great, and comes out so quick! So much flavor, and beautiful presentations. Prices are reasonable considering the quality, and amount of food you get in a plate. Service is amazing, they’re on top of everything. They also offer valet parking which is awesome.

This restaurant is fantastic!!!!! My boyfriend grew up in the restaurant business and is an amazing cook so he finds it difficult to find good restaurants that he recommends to friends and family. This is his favorite restaurant in the US. We came up and stayed overnight in the area just to eat at Los Andes. This was my first time eating here and the food and drinks did not disappoint. The staff is SO friendly, the ambiance is amazing and the food makes this a home run, 10/10. We got two Bamboleos to drink, the Ceviche Martini, the Lamb Specoal (Cordero), Bisteca Andina, Ensalada Russo, and Plantano Frito. SO Delicious!!! A must go!
Erik Domingues
Delicious food and large portions. So tasty! Very nice ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent customer service too!
Gina Hoseiny
This place never disappoints me, I've been here so many times. You must make a reservation!
Everyone greed's you always with a smile, it's very busy but organized, it's cleaned.
Food to perfection, never waited too long for our food, it's very fresh, warm, always satisfied on whatever we ordered. The service, not just from the waitress/waiter is amazing.
With Covid this restaurant has applied to the regulations, moving tables and setting up with beautiful decor, keeping everyone safe.
Prices are affordable. Always recommending it to my friends.
Update: new dishes & drinks.

Sunday Dinner, Sat outside in the igloo. As always, the food was amazingly delicious. The seating in the igloo was warm and a fun new experience. I ordered the 309 Tasting. Loads of sea food, in 3 different styles of cooking. Will definitely order this item agail

Best Peruvian Food ever. It’s a huge place and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. We tried the ceviche, which was perfection. The fish tacos (special). The lomo saltado was nice but on the sweeter side.
Great for: families and date nights
wendy martin
Such great food, service and hospitality. No wonder why I always need to go back for more! Since my nice photo of Omar came out blurry, Guess I'll just have to go back and do it all again! Awe shucks! Thank you all!
Shanice Tharkur
Food is consistently sooo good here! Love all the dishes, from the meats to the seafood, and the desserts. Service is amazing and the managers come around to greet their patrons and ensure they are enjoying themselves. Love this place!
Carla Jaggi
We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary at Los Andes. The atmosphere, service and food were all wonderful. We started with Calamari. There were some odd things in the dish but the Calamari were fried perfectly. I had a 10oz Rib Eye. It was served with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, asparagus and the most delicious Madeira wine sauce. My husband also had a beef dish. His was a stir fry with a Latin flair. We ended the night with a Passion Fruit cheesecake. It was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Mohammad Naimur Rahman
The resturent has good ambience and vibe. The service is excellent. Food served in an order for different items to ensure it’s test. All the items are good. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend!! Advice to make reservations if possible to avoid wait time.
Michelle Wang
Food is amazing but portion is too HUGE lol. Every main dish is meant for two ppl. The bread was super good too!!
Julie Triggs Robinson
The whole experience was outstanding just as good as the rehearsal dinner that we had there. The owner outstanding the service, the waiters the waitresses great. I can make that my regular place
Junsik Choi
Usually I don't say this....but this place is perfect. Kind, great bang for bucks, amazing food, valet parking (free). You need to make a reservation as the place is super duper popular. Without one, you might wait for 1hr or more!
Wayne Beaumier
Friendly staff, unique and unexpected ambiance delicious food and drinks, huge portions. Definitely will return and recommend

My husband and I had our valentine's dinner at Los Andes, we loved and came back . The second time was even better..everything was perfect 👌 ❤ the service, the food was delicious and the portions huge, nice drinks,, the manager walks to the tables asking if everything is ok, (which I think is the best way to keep a great customer service). Now I want to talk about my favorite part, a incredible atmosphere, we had our table in front a little pond with a bridge, we could see fishes, and hear the sound of a very cute waterfall, under a beautiful apple tree ( I saw an employee coming from the kitchen and grabbing a fresh apple , which I thought was very cool!
What a great time we had!
Highly recommend!

First time dining at Los Andes:
We arrived later than our scheduled reservation and they accommodate us fully, when they certainly didn’t need to. Our family greatly appreciated that which, of course, set the tone for such a wonderful dining experience. We were made to feel very welcome.
Our food orders came quickly and without any issues. The food itself was so flavorful and delicious. Two of us in the family have lactose and gluten allergies. They were able to accommodate us by doing their fullest to avoid cross contamination while offering enough dining options for us to still be able to fully enjoy the exotic Peruvian and Bolivian flavors that they offer.
Customer service was superb. We had a very proper and polite waiter. Details were taken care of from attentively filling waters as needed while managing the dining experience without feeling like we were being suffocated by service.
The food was extremely flavorful, the quality and presentation was just enough to feel premium yet not so posh to make it feel very comfortably family oriented and homey. That being said, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this as a more romantic date night dinner location. We sat at the traditional dining room tables (they offer other unique dining experiences) and the feel/decor is very good feeling, being both subtlety romantic and again, cozy and homey.
I definitely saw more things on the menu that I will just have to try, so a return trip is definitely in the cards. I hear the ceviche is to die for!!

Went here for the first time on my birthday and all I can say is wow! We got to eat in one of the igloos which was a whole experience within itself. Delicious food, great staff, awesome atmosphere. What more could you ask for?!
Michael Kling
This is always one of our favorites! The good is amazing every time and they are very accommodating for allergies. The staff is really friendly and the owner is always greeting folks and making sure everything is perfect. Highly highly recommend eating here! And if you are going for the first time don't judge it by the exterior, the inside is gorgeous!
Lorenzo Phillips
Los Andes has great food and atmosphere. We were seated outside in their garden-like patio area. It was a nice place to be in the summertime. I had the Jelena, a fried mixed seafood dish with fried mussels, WoW. 😋 They have great drinks and when we went, free Valet parking. We'll go again, for sure.
Michael Pants
Absolutely eat here! The Lechon el Horno was just unreal. The dish is unassuming and then just explodes with flavor from the first bite. The pork is marinaded from the day before, and potatoes so buttery they'll make you melt. The portions are generous. I had leftovers for the next day.
Carol Morgan
Have been eating at Los Andes for years, thru all its expansions. Learned to love Peruvian food here. Huge portions, great service, beautiful enclosed patio. Best, tenderest octopus evah!
Ben Echevarria
The food is tasty and huge portions. You can easily share a plate and app for dinner. The ceviche is delicious along with everything we tried. The drinks are well made with fresh ingredients
Lily Lai
Went for lunch with some friends. A little pricey but definitely a good bang for your buck. I am obsessed with their ceviche!! Ceviche will forever have a special place in my heart and theirs was tangy and has a good kick of spice! The main dishes were pretty big portions and their sangria is so strong. I will absolutely be coming back for the ceviche! :))) I also want to come back for dinner someday!
Michelle
Delicious meal! I had the lomo saltado. The meat was flavorful and tender. Great portion and good price. Also had the empanada de arroz. It was a large portion and very delicious.
Tim King
If you get a chance, make this a stop for dinner. My wife and I went for our anniversary and was very happy with our meals.
The one con would have been the seating. We had a small table and the seats sunk in so much that you almost had to reach up to eat!
Danilo Jose
I went again with a couple of friends, service was excellent and our waiter help us with the election of the food. A lot of food but I order the chaufa aeropuerto 3/5. Didn’t like it to much and it was too oily. But in general everything was good and my friends like it.
—————————————————————————-
The waiters were excelent. they give you bread with mild spicy sauce and olive oil. We tried the empanadas andina and it was ok 3/5. We ordered “lomo saltado” and the “pique a lo macho” it was good but too salty. The good thing is that they give you a lot of food.
Rolando Huerta
Disclaimer: I ate here about three weeks ago so the review isn’t as fresh as the food was in the pics.
So I had their steaks and I don’t think that was necessarily the best part. Not pictured was the seafood sampler that had muscles, oysters, calamari and more. That was just something else! I think we ate it before I realized I’d like to have had a pic of it.
The steak was a little dry but I did order medium. I was also surprised that it didn’t have too much salt or pepper. I admit it was a bit more plain than I’d have liked but it was still a good delicious cut.
The drinks we had were the real star. I’m not sure what they were called, sorry! But it was sweet and satisfying.
I’m so glad I got to go to Los Andes again after literally years. Hope to visit once more soon!
Claudia D.
Great place to meet up with friends! Food was really good. I had the Pollo Napolitano - delicious and filling. We tried cheese & chicken empanades - regerted not getting an extra cheese empanades. My friend got pork with rice - she loved it, cooked to perfection she said. (Pic added)Staff was nice & price point right for what you got. Next time will like to seat outside; they do have the igloos. Parking is tough so utilize the valet - quick & friendly. Recommend thus place.

Always an amazing experience every-time I visit they are one of the top restaurants on my list
jose viveiros
I haven't been there in quite some time. I went on Saturday I was disappointed nothing like it used to be. The food wasn't so great, the steak was better before, now the price is so much more but yet so much less steak, but plenty of rice. I would have loved it to be a better experience like I've had before, but unfortunately it wasn't. We did have appetizers and a pitcher of sangria.
Johanna Bravo
What a lovely place. I went with my husband on a dinner date. It was our first time there and we had a wonderful time. Janelle G was our server and she was incredible. Her recommendations were just right and she checked on us a few times during the meal to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The portions are huge and very tasty. Great place for dinner!
Kaiyu Wang
The best restaurant I have had experience. Highly recommeded
Amy Monteiro
Ist time here. We've heard so much good about it through the years. I didn't know the outdoor area for seating was that big. I liked being indoors last night because of the A.C. The waiter, Antonio spoke about the restaurants background and was very nice. He suggested some plates to try. You could tell they've trained them to say and do things proper. He was quick to take away our bread basket on the table and appetizer dishes. Appetizers and entrees were delicious! Our friends went with us. They started with a cheese n tomato plate. We had the calamari. Both were good choices. I had the ribeye and my husband had the steak with an egg on it. I felt lost looking at the menu because I wasn't sure of the names of the dishes. The red sangria was the bomb. The portion sizes were so big. We brought so much food home.
Victor Knox
Absolutely the best steak I've had I recommend it highly!! Great service and extremely friendly. Some plates are pricey but worth it.
Ira Lieman
One of the best meals I've had in Providence. Surprisingly fast service, good drinks, and very tasty food.
Ana Zabala
The ambiance is so beautiful and relaxing. The food is always delicious and great customer service.
Andrew Flye
Heard about this place and have wanted to go for a while now, finally went for date night. The restaurant itself is really well decorated and set up. We went early (5 pm or so) so we avoided big crowds, and were seated right away. We choose to be out on the patio, though it was a windy day, it was still nice. The general vibe of the restaurant was great, everyone was happy and chatting, the music was great, waiters were all friendly and happy.
The food was great too. The appetizers were really where it shined, some of those different empanadas were to die for. The main courses were also delicious, I got the steak, she got the pork. Everything was well season and delicious. Definitely would come back and highly recommend.
lokesh
Great ambience with good food. Reservation is required, I had to wait for an hour as I didn’t have one
Nelli “LesgoTRAVEL” Vegan-ish
OMG everything was so delicious. Definitely can say this place did not disappoint 👏 food was very flavourful, drinks were great and the staff was amazing. Our waiter Gary was super nice and attentive.
Nicole R
This place is absolutely amazing!!! The ambiance is gorgeous (especially outside), the waitstaff are wonderful and the everything I've ever tried here from food to drinks has been delicious and beautiful. Definitely a special occasion place for me as the prices are a bit steep and it's impossible to get in without a reservation, but I would highly recommend everyone try it at least once. You will not be disappointed!!!

Went here with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. So glad we did. Our server was fun and very informative. She knew the menu inside and out. Every bite was great. I started with a beef heart appetizer then moved on to a rib eye steak. My wife has salmon. All of the sides were flavorful. We shared some of thier signature sangria. This place is a home run.
Andrew David
I think this is probably the best restaurant in Providence and that's saying something. We recently moved to the area from New York and of course the first thing my wife and I did was sample from every restaurant we could. I was amazed at how efficient, patient and friendly the wait staff were despite the fact that it was a pretty high energy environment with lots of tables and quick turnover. The food was pretty cheap and the portion sizes was massive and the quality was impeccable. Heck, the food even tasted better the second day after we brought home leftover. The atmosphere is electric; live music, great ambience - perfect for summer nights.
Brandy Robinson
Food and ambiance is always amazing! Recommend making a reservation during the weekend as they get quite busy.
Marilis Hopp
Service was wonderful and it looks so beautiful inside. Food is good.

What an amazing restaurant! This place lived up to all my expectations, everything about the place was amazing. If you are looking for a restaurant that is well-priced and has an amazing ambiance this is the perfect place.
We ordered stuffed mushrooms, bistec andina, pescado a lo macho paiche, and lechon al horno. Everything was so yummy, plus the servings were so big (we had lots of leftovers). Each plate was filled with flavor and so unique! Perfect place to celebrate something or even a nice dinner out. Def recommend!!

I think I have a new favorite restaurant! Hope to return soon and often!

Great food, service and ambience!! Would highly recommend

Amazing food and exceptional service. Beautiful restaurant behind the uninspiring façade of a building on the corner of a residential neighborhood.
Jerry’s Adventure
Amazing food and amazing service!
Must try their cold dishes, empañadas, and flan

Haven't been since pre covid..... gorgeous renovations and expansions. Same exquisite service, food and ambiance. Highly recommend!!!!!

We had a group of 7 (bilingual) and we spent a wonderful 4 hours at Los Andres for a dinner to celebrate our getting together after 3 years. The menu is now bigger (and the prices higher), but the ambiance is improved. And, it's been a successful transformation into a first-class, high end restaurant including valet parking. If you're in the area, and if you know Peruvian food, this is the place to eat!
Kimberly G
You'll love Peruvian food, I promise. Los Andes entrees are more like 3 portions - so come hungry. You cannot duplicate these flavors! Spices not gravy or sauces - so nice. Get your reservations in days/weeks early. What are you waiting for?
Do not miss this experience!
Start with the ceviche for sure.

Going into the restaurant I was already filled with high expectations due to the locals raving so much about their food and customer service.
I was not disappointed one bit. This restaurant is definitely a 5/5. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, our waiter Gustavo was very charismatic and knowledgeable on the menu & the atmosphere was vibrate.
The drinks and food were slamming! Definitely a “must-go”
Jessica Silver
Beautiful outdoor space, great customer service, delicious food. The entrees are HUGE so unless yiu want a lot of leftovers would consider splitting one entree between two people, especially if you are getting appetizers or dessert. Highly recommend!
Allison Van Fechtmann
Super super tasty and very filling- left with lots of leftovers! Ordered calamari, paella, and chichirrón. Ingredients tasted very fresh, especially the clams in the paella. Waiter was very attentive and atmosphere was enjoyable.
Stephanie Daly
The Pisco Sour and Pulpo Pachamanquero were absolute perfection!
Zenaida Maysonet Soto
Words are not enough. Incredible food and environment! Extra Kudos to Mamadou T for the EXTREMELY GREAT SERVICE. Will definitely be back and will ask for him to be our server.
Joe Michels
Wow! The food here is spectacular. We split the ceviche and the paella and we were absolutely stuffed. The place was busy, but they were able to get us situated quickly and the staff was super friendly.
Andrew Davinack
My favorite restaurant in Providence. My wife and I keep coming back to this place again and again. The food is cheap and the portions are wild; a single portion is enough for two dinners. The ingredients and dishes are simple but they way the food is seasoned and cooked is beautiful.
Hillary Browne
It's a must do...must experience kinda place! The service was phenomenal!
Ann Revell-Pechar
this is one very very busy place. but for good reason! The food was outstanding. and the service was over the top. excellent. if you don't mind, lots of folks around making their own sets of noisy noises, this is an unbeatable place to be
colin aina
I went here when they first opened in 2009(10?) and haven't been in 3 yrs until this evening. Everything was amazing as usual and it's great to see that they are continually expanding and still offering top notch Andean cuisine!
Sammi
I came here on a Saturday evening for an early dinner. We got to the place right at 5pm when they opened (and for when our reservation was which I highly recommend) and a line was already forming! It made complete sense as to why it was so popular once we got in. The outside seating was gorgeous and tables well spaced. The service was fast and the food amazing. We shared the 903 tasting as well as 2 appetizers and had way too much food! Overall I can't say anything but wonderful things about this place and will definitely want to return.
Kathryn Sheehan
This place was bomb. We are already planning to go back. The server was super knowledgeable about accommodating gluten allergies. And they had so many gluten free options, it was easier for me to tell her what I wanted and she could tell me if or how it could be modified. It was great. We got a cheese empanada for an app, and I kid you not, I dreamed about it the next day! We can't wait to go back!
Michaella Williams
This place is extremely busy we had to wait till the next day to go. It was so worth the way the food was delicious the portion size wear huge you can definitely share a meal. and the ceviche was delicious
Daniel Lamountain
Food was plentiful with amazing flavors I had paella . How ever most of the seafood was slightly over cooked and I was very disappointed not to have the crispy rice on the bottom. I believe it’s called socorat it’s a signature part of paella and I was looking forward to enjoying it. While I don’t think it was over priced. It is expensive enough to expect it to be authentic.
Michelle Polk
Loved the night in the beautiful igloo! Best Birthday I could have asked for!!! Thank you everyone there from the owner to the wait staff that added to the most amazing Birthday I could have ever asked for!!!! The food was amazing and served nice and hot.
Thank you. We will be back soon.
Frank Dantuono
Best empanadas I've ever had! Atmosphere is great, all the employees were very nice, prices are reasonable (especially with the huge portions you get). The paella traditional was wonderful, as was the ceviche. My family had the chicken and the steak which they loved. Make sure to try the short rib empanadas. Try the house sangria as well.
Michael Howard
Food and drinks were amazing! Joe at the bar was excellent and wow'd us! John, the manager, was at the host stand helping out and I love to see this. 100% will be back.
Brenda Rozario
Our waiter JOE seemed to be very attentive to all the other booths around us especially one older white couple in particular. I didn’t feel like our table got anywhere close to that same love, it felt rushed. Parrillada Andina was the entree of our choice, not sure if it’s supposed to be served this way but the arroz con queso was cold.
When we asked to have it boxed up he just simply gave us 2 foam trays and 2 plastic bags. The table was still very crowded from our appetizers and the Styrofoam box actually caught on fire from the candle on the table. Meanwhile I noticed him bring over a separate little folding table and put on gloves and personally box the couples appetizers and dinner for them. Another booth next to us seating four also received their desserts with little candles on it that he lit to celebrate a birthday. I did mark off the reservation would be for a birthday, my birthday, not once was it mentioned. My friend and I ordered two desserts, a tres leches cake and tiramisu. We waited so long for the desserts I thought he forgot we ordered them. I over heard the couple in the booth to the left order their desserts after us, now I knew this was the defining moment of whether or not he was providing more courtesy to this couple. Truth be told they received 3 desserts to taste as well as more friendly banter and we have a tres leches plopped on our table and “enjoy ladies”. Joe is already down the stairs almost around the corner and I have to call out for his attention because we each ordered our own desserts. A bus girl brought me my dessert where he soon came back later and said something along the lines of “small problem simple fix”. Some people may not be as observant as I am but I noticed these folks were continuously being favored since that was part of the only view from my seat. I hadn’t been here in years and this wasn’t exactly the best experience on a day that is supposed to feel special. More thank likely he was trying to hustle a good tip from this couple, but he could have earned well over 20% from my table had he been as invested in us but i felt even the 20% was being generous.

Awesome!! Perfection in every way!! Food. Music. Ambiance. Service. A buffet for all the senses! Authentic in every way. Beautiful presentations. Delicious. Happy place! I can't wait to return!
Mary Olayanju
My husband and I come here at least 2x a month. It is probably our favorite restaurant and we have tried to pull our friends there as well. We pretty much have ordered almost everything on the menu but my favorite is the chicken empanada. It’s so juicy and perfectly crisp all the time. It comes with a tomato base salsa that is good as well. We have only been there about 2x since the pandemic.
Christian Rodriguez
Delicious! All around flavor explosion. Service is attentive and knowledgeable. Chef specials are excellent surprises. Can’t say I have a favorite. They will not disappoint.
Bianca Ito Gandini
The food is delicious! We ordered two meat dishes. You can definitely tell there is been a slight change in the recipe to accommodate the regional preference but it is fair - the empanada, for instance, is fried and confectionery sugar is sprinkled on top. I do recommend. We'll return to try the seafood. Make sure you make reservation or arrive right after it opens.
Peter Bacchiocchi
Great place, excellent food, service and the restaurant is beautiful

The service was impeccable as usual considering a busy Friday night. The grilled octopus appetizer was delicious but we were very disappointed to see a plate filled with potatoes and 1 miserable small tentacle, for 15 dollars a total rip off if you ask me. The ceviche appetizer served on the martini glass was amazing, with a rich selection of seafood and fish. We order the Parrila Andina was more than plenty for two people. The cheesy rice and Russian potato salad were great, the Ribeye cooked to perfection (medium rare), the chicken was a bit dry and the sausage was overwhelmingly seasoned, we didn't eat the sausage, too strong. The beef ribs were also delicious! We ordered the famous pisco sour cocktails that were as authentic as we remember from Peru. All in all a great dinner experience with a very lively scene, beautiful people all around and an amazing water fountain at the entrance. We will be back and try different items in their menu. Our dinner was 145 dollars plus 30 dollars for tip including drinks, appetizers and main course. We didn't have dessert or wine.
Andrew Eliquen
As someone who visited Peru in the past, the Peruvian food here seem authentic. They had outdoor tents for big group dining. The staff was very friendly and offered good recommendations. All the food (Empanada, Champiñones and Ceviche) we tried were good. Highly recommended.
Stacy Lacroix
Amazing food! Great staff! Loved dining in the outdoor igloo in December. It was perfect! Will be back!
M Abreu
This is my favorite place in Rhode Island. Their specials are always amazing and their menu items are beyond delicious. Make sure you make a reservation because they book you fast.
Heather Raposa
Warm and inviting atmosphere outside on the new patio. Highly recommend for a date night or just dinner with the ladies. Complimentary valet (please tip your valet's) upon arrival. Social distance and mask required which is great. Family owned and run which makes every person on the staff family and guests are treated in the same respect. My girlfriend and I split a pitcher of red sangria (which is our favorite every time we go), the app with potato and chicken salad (sorry forgot the name of the dish!) so yummy and we got two entrees that we shared. Every was amazing, we stayed for 3 hours though it felt like an hour. The staff never even flinched how long we stayed. One of the best SMALL BUSINESSES IN RHODE ISLAND! Can't wait for our next ladies our next ladies night!
Mathew Xiong
Loved it so much!! Nordic didn't have any reservations available and we did not feel bad at all! This place was amazing!
RAPID RESPONSE REPAIR LLC. MANAGEMENT COMPANY
Incredible food and service owner is always available for any concerns. This place is the best restaurant in Rhode Island bar none period. EXCELLENT.
David Hohrath
I’ve heard this place called one of the best restaurants in Providence and based on my two experiences here, I would definitely agree! This place serves Peruvian and South American dishes that are both delicious and huge. Generally I have gotten an appetizer then split a main dish with my fiancé and it was more than enough. We even took some home. I highly recommend the cheese empanadas and any of the steaks! There is a wait most nights and reservations are often booked if you try last minute so I would recommend trying to go during the off hours when it won’t be as busy. 5/5 will be going back soon!
Karen Rivas
First time we went here and its paradise the service and food are amazing
The building looks deceiving the restaurant is big has seating inside and out we will definitely be going back highly recommended.
Pat Fournier
Absolutely love Los Andes! Have been going there for 10 years, and we are never disappointed!! Whether it's date night, dinner with friends, or a special celebration, we always enjoy the delicious food!
Jc23xo wonderland
Food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Service is really good, friendly and helpful with any questions about their dishes.

Much ado about nothing sadly. Unfortunately, all the hype about this restaurant did not match the experience.
Service was phenomenal and attentive - absolutely. However, the dishes were a huge letdown. The chicken dish we ordered was pitiful. It almost reminded me of a tv dinner meal. It was dry. Precooked and sat around maybe?
The steak dish was very chewy but flavor was ok. The seafood special appetizer was good though.
Overall, it was ok - just not up to the expectations I had going in. I would not come again though.
Katherine Cotuc
Waited 30 min for a table when I made a reservation. I recommend making one but just know you’ll be waiting. Service was fast, person was a bit awkward but nice and attentive.
We ordered the choros a la chalaca as a app. It was really good. Must try if you like raw mussels, high acidity, and can handle spice. Then we shared a jalea which was seasoned well and had a variety of fried seafood. Would come here again if I was in providence.
Dave Talty
Wow!! Sat at the bar for dinner after picking up my son at the train station. Los Andes was recommended by a friend. Meg was our bartender and server. She was friendly, professional and super knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients. Huge portions and the flavors were amazing. I had never had Peruvian food before, but will be sure to return.
Kristen Pavlic
I asked our server Kathy if there were any vegan options and she came back to tell me the chef would personally make me a custom vegan dish. The picture included was it. AMAZING. I’ve never felt more welcomed and accommodated at a non-vegan restaurant. Kathy was perfect, knowledgeable and efficient. The staff is super attentive and friendly. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is glorious. We sat on the outdoor patio nestled along fresh flowers and warm sunlight. The sangria was crisp and refreshing. I would give this place ten stars if I could. Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming back.
Eloara Cerioni
This place has g r e a t food and wonderful drinks. Today I had lunch with my family and it was awesome with our waiter Gabriel, very welcoming and friendly!
Melissa Duffy
I have no words... the food here is to die for. Everyone at the table ordered something different and amazing. The portion sizes are huge. You have to come try it for yourself. And get dessert!
Izabela Buczek
Went there for anniversary dinner. Definitely coming back! The food was amazing both taste and presentation. We had a special and ceviche martini for appetizer and shared paella. So good!! Make sure you have reservation! The complementary valet is very helpful, not much parking available.
Chef Linda Burns
Delicious, authentic fare. The outside of the building is deceiving, but inside and the outdoor patio dining are a secret oasis, filled with beautiful flowers and a wonderful south American feel. Service is great! Our server, Brittsny was able to answer all of our questions and was super sweet.
The host was so polite - they made you feel welcome from the first moment you set foot in the door. Valet parking available. Make a reservation because they are busy - bar and restaurant are hopping.
Katherine Alizo
The food was really good! I had the quinoa salad and Jalea (seafood platter). One of the best seafood platter I've ever had. I also had their flan for dessert and it had the right amount of sweetness. The waiters and valet were friendly and definitely deserved their tips. I can see why the restaurant is always packed.
Sherry Ann
Gabriel V was a great server! Very professional and kind. Food was delicious as always but having him was the cherry on top!
Cody
Amazing food and helpful staff for first timers. Id recommend the beef heart appetizer, so tender and full of flavor. And of course the seafood was really fresh! Also the dessert i got was amazing, i got the passion fruit cheesecake
Steven Murillo
Very delicious food. A large variety of irregular meals that will definitely be enjoyed. The plates are huge so if an appetizer is ordered you most lilely wont finish the main course. Was very impressed with the restaurant, only complaint would be the cramped entrance and struggle finding parking. They do have vale.
Sandra Adorno
Excellent customer service, the place was so beautiful and most importantly the food was Esquisite!!!!!
The Owner and his son are very welcoming
Definitely recommend

This spot is a must go. For a couple that enjoys Spanish cuisine, finding this restaurant was unique. I've never visited an infused Peruvian & Bolivian place. Our server, Miledy was friendly with a smile and the servers were further polite. If I ever visit again, I'd go back. Certainly recommend!
Diana Nguyen
Los Andes is a gem in Providence and I'd highly recommend this establishment. It's a Peruvian (seafood) and Bolivian (meats) restaurant. I ordered the oxtail and it was rich, flavorful, and hearty. The prices are very reasonable as well! I could not finish my meal so unfortunately I was not able to try any dessert.
The service is wonderful and extremely helpful with the menu. It is an unassuming place on the outside but do not let that deter you! Inside is clean and ginormous!
There's valet parking as well as plenty of street parking.
Derek Hines
Our second time here. The food was delicious (Lomo Saltado & Paella), but the service was slow, even though it wasn't busy.) Will come back though.
M White
What a great place to eat from the atmosphere to the awesome food. Family restaurant owners are great and I read in USA today it’s #23 in the USA
Judy Sun
Yes this is one of the best restaurants in Providence. I love their seafood, especially the ceviche. We tried their lobster paella this time and it was really good! They even split it in two for us. Their cocktails are tasty and strong as well. Love this place.
Heather Pina
1st time here and it was awesome!! The bar area was small and hard to scoot by to the front desk to check in. The atmosphere was inviting and I felt at home. I had calamri and it was great but I am not a fan of whole squid. So pushed them aside. The flavor was perfect! My main course was amazing!! Chicken with hot papers, tomatoes, mozzallera cheese and crisp French fries underneath. The food potions are large. The drink was small for the price but very good.
Errick Nunnally
Absolutely delicious food (all sorts of grilled beef and veg)+ and drinks (some very interesting cocktails). Good service, well worth a reservation or for takeout.
Rohan Moitra
Great location for South American (Peruvian & Bolivian to be specific) food. Ceviche and empanadas were quite good. One thing to keep in mind is the popularity of the place - lots of people waiting in line or waiting for pickup orders in a fairly confined area ( bar / reception area). Once you've crossed that hurdle, though, there's no looking back!
Natalie D
Went here for Father's Day. Service was great during pandemic. Took our temperature at the door and made sure we had masks and sanitized. Food is very delicious with huge portions.
Dania Flores-Heagney
Always good, food is amazing, friendly staff and very careful around Covid19 precautions. Only one comment that will had improved my date with my partner and baby, the men's bathroom didn't had a changing table....what's up with that? We are like in last century or something. Please encourage man to take parenting seriously. My partner is making the best effort but was kind of embarrassed to be waiting outside the woman's bathroom and then had to change the baby there while los of woman where trying to get in...
Johanna Ortiz
Great dining choice. Their focus is the customer experience. The ambience, the food and the service are above and beyond my expectations. It’s one of the best restaurants in Providence.
Brittany Brookins
Los Andes was really good. Our large party was accommodated despite our difficult time making reservations (our fault not the restaurants). For drinks we had sangrias, Venezuelan mai tais, and the South American flight. My favorite drink was the classic red sangria, with the mai tai a close second. For appetizers we ordered the beef hearts, classic ceviche, chorizo, and beef and chicken empanadas. The ceviche was fantastic and I would definitely recommend trying the beef hearts. Of the many entrees we ordered the paella was definitely my favorite. We had both the lobster and classic paella, while the lobster was good, I don’t think it was worth the $20 up charge. After all this food we didn’t have room for desert. A wonderful time was had by all. The only difficulty from the restaurant was when we tried to split the bill.
Oscar De La Rosa
This place is an experience unlike any other. First, it's super easy to make a reservation on their website. Great accomodations if you have to wait a few for your reservation. The service is incredible, they make you feel like royalty there. All staff members were very attentive and very helpful when needed. The food was unbelievably good. Consistently excellent experience every time I come here.
Sophia Khedekar
First time here after getting recommendations from friends and family for so long. The place is so organized and they take your temp at check in. We got a table on the patio and it was covered and they had heaters so we felt super comfortable despite it being cold outside. We both got the Bistec Andina Ribeye and it was excellent! I actually just started eating steak again after several years and this was the perfect one to eat as my first after so long. The sauce and spices were very tasty. Portion sizes are extremely generous. They were able to make us really great virgin mango mojitos. We had impeccable service from our waiter Christian!
Carina Neri
My favorite restaurant to go to at any time of the week. Food is always great and service is top notch. If you haven’t eaten here yet you should definitely check it out. You’ll fall in love. It’s a hidden gem.
leesah silva
Addictive! I’ve had Peruvian food in NYC as well as right here In Providence, by far this is the king of Peruvian food hands down.!! Valet is a available if needed. It’s a good idea to call ahead and reserve a table. This place is always packed & for good reason. It is a small restaurant but the decor makes up for it. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and take time to explain menu items if needed. Lighting is low here & give a extremely romantic atmosphere . Perfect for that special date night. Now on to the food. Omg 😳 the food is so pleasing to your soul. I had stir fry rice with veggies & sweet plantains. I ordered salmon on the side as well. The Salmon melts in your mouth nice & buttery. The rice also had a light bartered version of onion rings on top then topped with a beautiful fried egg. Exquisitely enjoyable.! It is on the pricey end but well worth it. Dinner for two with appetizers, One alcoholic beverage for each of us and our main entrée with once a dessert to share was $97. It is worth the money. Such a good experience here.
Michael Boyd
Such large portions with a slightly large price tag. The atmosphere is dim and Peruvian in a sense. I like the fish tank. Food is flavorful. The staff is amazing and attentive.
Maura Perez
Amazing service!!! Highly recommend!!! As soon as we walked in the door everyone greeted us, extremely friendly. The food was good but the service here was outstanding. Good food, outstanding service, great laid back chill atmosphere.
Daniel Marques
My god is all I can say. Too good! I got the Bisteca Andina and it was one of the most phenomenal dishes I have eaten at a restaurant. Large portion sizes. Truly amazing!
John Louie
Authentic yet inventive, large portions beautifully presented. Large yet intimate. No wonder everybody comes here.
James Hammel
Good service big portions very nice!
L C
One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. The brothers were all so welcoming from first greeting us, to the service, to sharing drinks and stories at the end of the night. The food and drinks are incredible. The atmosphere on a warm summer night makes you feel like you’re on vacation. The hospitality is what really brings it all together and ensures that you’ll be back! Thanks for everything :)

At first glance, I was skeptical of this restaurant because of its neighborhood and appearance. As the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover.
Not only were all the servers friendly and more than happy to recommend entrees to me and my family, but the food quality, ingredient variety (including Peruvian/Bolivian plants like yucca and maiz de Peru) and portions were well worth the fees. I studied abroad in Spain for a month, and I can say that I highly recommend the paellas, empanadas, toda comida con mariscos(the seafood), and other Spanish/Latin American dishes. The interior is beautifully decorated and all the facilities are clean.
Tom K
Back patio is perfect for a quality cocktail and saltania or empanada. The meat for 2 and ceviche are recommended also. Staff was on point special shout out to the manager who was able to sit 8 people. I would also recommend reservations as the place was really busy on a Wednesday night.
Karen C
Very delicious food! They don't disappoint on flavor or portions! If you eant to go, get your reservation in early!
Broke Bougie Hungry
The food was fantastic and portions were great. I have no complaints. I love the ambience and set up too. It was great!
Karen
This was my first time at Los Andes. Atmosphere was great and food was amazing. Started with the Peruvian Pink Sangria and Chicken Empanadas. We had the Bisteca A Lo Pobre (portions were huge) and the Salmon Aymara. Staff very attentive from the minute we walked in even though it was extremely busy. We went on a Saturday night and would recommend making reservations.
Kollinak Sar
I been to this place when I was up north. They really have some good food and excellent customer service.
David aguirre
Amazing service a good presentation on food a great experience. You won't be disappointed.
Ken Sullenger
Simply amazing food and service. Dining area and bar were packed, be sure to get a reservation unless you want to wait for awhile. Ordered the prime rib special and it was to die for, and the au jus was rich and flavorful. Excited to go back and try other food from the menu.
Sean Snively
Good food and good dining experience for a good price. I enjoyed getting to try new foods.
Caitlyn Carey
Delicious food with great service. Outdoor seating area is beautiful, and even better once it got a little darker. Nice pond with flowing water near our table. Loved the food and our waiter was on point!
chris mayben
Everything was phenomenal. Food, drinks, service and reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back.
Hip Aguilera
Amazing place! Highly recommend the food here. They are known for their ceviche, it's a must try 😋. Be prepared to hear a lot of birthday songs, it's a great place to celebrate this special occasion. …
Joe Agresti
The atmosphere outside combined with the service and prices make this a must visit dining experience. There is a huge menu, including a kids one. The food is an 8/10 but everything else is 10/10. We had the paella, chicken envuelto, burger, and 2 different empanadas.
Sandy Greenberg
delicious food..beautiful presentation
excellent service and great atmosphere..nothing better to get through these strange times
Stephen Carreira
great food! We walked in wait was told wait was 1.5 hours. Had drinks and app at the bar. After over 2 hours we were sat. Due to the wait managment provided us with a free app and after dinner drink! The food comes extremely quick and was delicous. Overall even with the wait great experience.
Marami Kar
One of Providence’s most celebrated restaurants and its quite easy to imagine why. Serving Peruvian and Bolivian fare, Los Andes has a great menu with wide variety of options, and tremendous portion sizes at very reasonable prices. Pretty much everyone walks out with a leftover box - given its hard to restrict yourself to picking just 1-2 things from such a treasure trove of a menu to begin with, and with their portions it’s impossible to polish all of it off in 1 sitting!
Their service is exceptional too - super polite and friendly servers and very quick serving time.
Gersie Domond
One of the best restaurants in Providence. Everything that I’ve ordered has been amazing. I would recommend the ceviche, steak, calamari, and/ or the pink sangria. Every time I take people here, there have been no complaints!!!
Maryam Attarpour
Serving up another winning dish😍
The food here is always delicious, made to order, and the portion sizes are extremely generous. Their outdoor patio is a beautiful space for any gathering. Remember that you'll definitely need a reservation since they're always super busy 🤪
📸 Churrasco Anticuchero 🥩🥘
16 oz. Argentinian ribeye, grilled and basted with anticuchera, topped with sautéed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and basil, over a vegetable chaufa rice, finished with onion strings and a sunny side egg 🍳
Tyler R
One of the best restaurants in Providence (a city filled with competition). We came across this place for the first time recently and we were blown away by the atmosphere and service. If you are around the area this is a must to check out.
Rebekah Acevedo Vine
This is a smooth operating, well run restaurant. The service from beginning to end, from the vallet to the bussing staff are all very respectful, responsive and attentive. Clean and nicely decorated. Our waitress was amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. Third time visiting Los Andes and every experience has been fantastic. Try the prime rib!
Mike Neilan
Los Andes is always amazing. The portions are huge! You will never go home hungry I can promise that. The staff is excellent, always friendly, willing to give recommendations and very courteous. The food is just delicious and tases very fresh. I will be back for sure and highly recommend it!
Zuleirys Santana Rodriguez
I ordered delivery from Los Andes via a recommendation from one of my Uber drivers that I needed to try their food and I’m so happy I did! The flavors were amazing! The ingredients super fresh! Very large portions of food which I was really surprised about it. And it was a prompt delivery as well. Would for sure visit Los Andes again if I’m in the Rhode Island area.
Sarah Desrosiers
Tried the pork shoulder which was melt in your mouth amazing! It came with rice, potatoes, fried plantains, roasted carrots and was topped with scalions. Everything was delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The overall atmosphere was beautiful, hip and warming (and they have a beautiful fish tank filled with beautiful fish.) I really enjoyed my drink special "thank u next" ordered based on ingredients not because of the name (not a fan of the artist but they shouldn't lose points for that.) Free valet is available.
SJ
Came by for a quick drink and ceviche and ended up sitting down for an unforgettable experience! The Los Andes margherita was very good: mixed well with the perfect amount of tequila. My date enjoyed a pumpkin enhanced cocktail and later enjoyed their sangria. Their ceviche was delicious, simply put. They give you three separate glasses generously filled with spicy, sweet, and salty flavours. Lastly, their main entre is so big you can easily split it with a date. The size of their portions does not mean diminished quality either! The meat was tender, veggies cooked perfectly, and the rice flavorfully soaked up the marinade.
Finally, a manager comes by to all the tables to check in on your party. It's clear their staff/ownership is focused on providing a quality dining experience of Peruvian cuisine.
Evelina Plewa
Service from host to waitrons is very good, menu is great, drinks and food delicious. Also lovely atmosphere! Thank you to the very kind host who arranged us to get seated. ❤️
Claudine Taylor
Phenomenal meals and service! We ate outdoors, which was one of the nicest outdoor dining areas we've seen.
Jessica Blanco
I really enjoyed eating at this wonderful place; the only thing I request is that you can somehow get a bigger tank for the turtles that live in the fountain. It is really small and barely fits them. Other than that, it is awesome.
Nilda Vega
I had a great experience!
Ken Hehir
I was recconended the pork shank, but unfortunately they were out on the night I went. I ordered the steak instead. It was not the greatest steak, but still decent for the price.
Would definitely like to come back, but I think I'd get something else.
Elmer Velasquez
Very good food,I like how they have the garden right there it has a nice touch. I think the food and drinks prices it's a little high.but they have good service I'm I'll be going back again.
Michelle Tulcan-Hiestand
If you come to Rhode Island for any reason at all it’s too eat here.
The only downside to the outdoor dining is all the flies trying to join you. I recommend the owners install some citronella lamps or tiki torches
Lucas Campbell St. Laurent
The chicken is amazing, this is real authentic Latin American food. As a Brazilian I can say this is delicious and the service that Camila and Hector provided really made me fall in love with the place!
Zee Lopez
Food is always delicious! It was super busy the night we went but was still excellent service.
natan daviau
The staff is very professional.great food with huge portions that will make you crave more.i have been to Los Andes several times and will continue to go because it is by far one of the best.
Andrew Thomson
Great ambiance on the patio with live music. Amazing service. 10/10! Recommend the pisco sour and paella
Nurys Montepeque
As always, Los Andes exceeded my expectations. Had a wonderful time with the family and the food and drinks were excellent. By the way the place looks awesome.
Nicole Baetiong
Everything was amazing. Always. Tres Leches could be better, more moist. But hey, Mexicans do it better.
David Palms
Service, atmosphere, drinks and price were great. We wanted to like it more but didn’t love the food
Albert Spector
Great food, even better service. Friendly people and very welcoming atmosphere.
Peter Gresch
Good south American cuisine in and plenty of it. The staff is quick on their feet, friendly, and attentive. Comfortable atmosphere all around.
Christopher Brennan
Food was unbelievable and our server Vinnie was awesome. Highly recommend this place if you haven't been. Top notch.
Amanda Torres
My FAVORITE place to diners! Their steaks are AMAZINGGG!! Hubby got the 'tierra y mar' which consisted of a filet mignon on a bed of cilantro rice, snow crab legs and an elote. I had the bistek andina with cheese rice and asparagas. They never disappoint!!
wayne cabral
Great meal as always.. the wait staff was attentive and friendly especially our main waiter Brian.. well done sir and well done Los Andes

Very classy and very tasty. Busy place as it was packed to capacity when our group of five visited. Staff was attentive and always nearby to refill our water. Would recommend making reservations, as our birthday group did.
Neil Childress
We loved this restaurant. Wonderful and very attentive staff, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere is beautiful. We will be back again!!
Michelle H
Great food and service, inside or outside dining. Love the decorating and environment! Favorite appetizer is the stuffed mushroom~
Jonathan M
One of my favorite restaurants in Providence. You can never go wrong with steak or seafood in this Peruvian restaurant. The food is great, the place is cozy, the staff is friendly and the service is on time. If it is your first time you should ask for the empanada de queso to start. Don't forget to try the typical drink from Peru called Pisco Sour. It has egg white but you will be surprised by the flavor.
Ronin
Very good! Service was excellent attention to detail. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly. The taste was out of this world! Definitely a gem and a must try. Extremely busy so book ahead. One more thing the atmosphere was warm and inviting with a saltwater tank that separates the dining room and the bar as you walk in!
Alex Armstrong
This place is unbelievable. From the outside you may not think it is the most classy or big restaurant. However, as soon as you walk in, the bar scene is lively. You are greeted by friendly staff at the check-in. When you turn the corner you are welcomed into a big dining area with more dining in the back. The place is actually huge! My waitress asked if we had been there, which we hadn't. She answered many of our questions promptly, showing excellent knowledge if the menu. Differentiating for us which parts were Bolivian based and which were Peruvian. Her and the staff cleared our table for each stage of the meal. We started with new plates and utensils for each course. The food is SO good... we ordered Jallea and Pacumuto and the portions are massive. Everything was spiced well. I couldn't have been happier. The prices are cheap for the portion sizes you receive. Everything was perfect. Will be back soon.
Adam Williams
The staff is so amazingly attentive! My wife and I had my birthday dinner here and felt like we were the only customers in the place in the middle of a Saturday night!
David Mitcham
This place is amazing. Always a great dining experience. The service here if impeccable. Servers are knowledgeable in everything on the menu and will offer great suggestions. The lobster paella is my favorite menu item. Not to take from any of the other wonderful dishes. Their ceviche is out of this world and they have different styles for everyone's taste buds. I can't recommend this place enough. When in Providence this place is a must.
brandon borrayo
Los Andes is simply spectacular... the moment you walk in your surrounded by beautiful fountains, flowes, fire, and palm trees.. your then greeted with the utmost professionalism and treated with priority.. once you get seated your waitor continues catering to your needs quickly and professional the drinks came quick and my water was never empty... I ordered a ceviche martini (a seafood appetizer) and the veal special of that day and left extremely satisfied I would definitely suggest a reservation and try to snag a seat by the koi pond in the back you won't regret the time you spend there
K S
I went there for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed! Food was just outstanding! There was a few of us and everyone loved their food and drinks. The customer service is great! They know menu very well and will be happy to help you. Definitely will be back soon!
Gino Paolucci
Excellent experience. Our waiter was phenomenal. The food was awesome. Will definitely be back
Brendan Scolari
Long wait and took an hour to serve our food. However, the owners came out, apologized, as comped some of our food/drinks. Really appreciate the service!
diana patricia montoya
It is an excellent restaurant I recommend 100%. the attention is unique and the flavors of your exquisite food
Sarah Medeiros
Absolutely loved this place. From the outside you'd never know how beautiful it is on the inside. Phenomenal food! I mean everything we ate was ridiculously good. Including the bread they give you. We ordered a cheese empanada and holy smokes!! Yum! Then we ordered two main dishes and split them. Chicken stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, cheese and red peppers along side rice and this yummy sauce. Steak, with fries, rice, fired plantains, and a fried egg. Nom nom nom just thinking about it. The drinks were phenomenal.... utterly delicious. We sat outside by the coy pond and music was playing, light were on. I felt like I was on a vacation at a resort. The staff was amazing. My water glass never got halfway empty!! Priced right too!!! Will one thousand percent be going back! Just wish we had better weather for longer because the outside is a whole vibe!!!

Los Andes is one of Providence's best dining experiences. Here you'll find deliriously happy, well-fed customers dining on Bolivian and Peruvian cuisine, eating dishes such as ceviche, seafood paella, massive spice-marinated ribeye steaks, and Andean regional street food.
Los Andes' appetizers are first-rate, and I recommend ordering several. Upon being poked with utensils, Salteñas and Empanadas explode with meaty juices and garlicky, piquant flavor. Although Salteñas and Empanadas are similar pastries, I'm partial to the former due to its sweeter, corn-based crust.
The "Ceviche Martini" contains barramundi, squid, shrimp, mussels in an acetic mix of citrus juices, chilies, cilantro, onion, and garlic. Since it is served in a martini glass, you can sip the juices after plucking the last delicious bit of seafood from the cup or, better yet, request a shot of pisco or vodka to spike the 'leche de tigre' with. That said, the ceviche dish to order here is the sweet and spicy "Passionfruit Salmon Ceviche," a smart ceviche mixture of two components that complement each other better than one would expect. Unfortunately, it is not on the regular menu and is a daily special subject to availability.
"Anticuchos de Corazón" is a classic "meat on a stick" street food from Peru featuring beef heart marinated in delectable spices, then threaded onto skewers and grilled. Some could consider "beef heart" exotic, but no need to fuss about it -- it is a lean meat that works perfectly with these spices, has a pleasing but bold beef flavor, and bears a mouthfeel of a smoother and slightly chewier (though not 'tough') tenderloin. Both the texture and flavor of this dish makes this one of the best bites of food you'll have in Providence, or anywhere for that matter. Like me, you should a) dine at this restaurant frequently, and b) ALWAYS order the beef heart as one of your starters.
Be warned that nearly all the massive entrées that leave Chef Cesin Curi's kitchen will not be finished by a normal-sized person in a single sitting, so expect you'll be taking some food home with you. You would expect to pay a fair amount for the level of quality and sheer quantity of grub on each plate at Los Andes, but nearly every dish is less than $20, and only the "Langosta Paella" ($45) is offered at a high-end price, owing to the inclusion of a flawlessly-baked 1 1/2-pound Maine lobster which sits on top of what seems like an endless amount of rice, chorizo, shrimp, squid, and clams in a buttery white wine broth. Another seafood favorite of mine is the "Pachamanca Del Mar," which is the Peruvian equivalent to a New England Clam Bake, featured a tender Spanish octopus, mussels, swordfish, and shrimp served with marble potatoes while sizzling on a Peruvian hot stone, the whole of it covered in a pachamanquera sauce punched up with chilies and aromatic herbs.
Turf dishes are also exquisite here, from the silky "Lechón Al Horno" Bolivian roasted pork shoulder to the "Churrasco al Gaucho," an affordable one-pound beef ribeye rubbed with spices and expertly grilled to pick up a smoky crust, served with fried yuca and rice.
The restaurant, which looks deceptively homely on the outside, features a modern woody dining room that is a bit too dark for my liking, but made up for by a beautiful and spacious outdoor patio with a separate bar and fish pond in the back. This is the area to reserve a table in, weather permitting. And, yes, you definitely want to make a reservation - this place is busy regardless of day or time.
You won't be disappointed at Los Andes. Even though I grew up in the Providence area, I currently live in California and travel extensively. Los Andes has nonetheless become one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal in the U.S., and it will be one of yours too.
John V. Gibbons III
Los Andes' menu has a tremendous selection. No matter what you pick, it is always spectacularly prepared. The food is always delicious and the serving sizes are very generous. Everyone leaves with a doggie bag. Look how amazing our dinners all looked. They tasted even better than they looked!
Twaquisha Williams
Inside is cute! Never expected it based on outside. Loved the valet option. Too many sirens from local hospitals nearby.
Stephen Nault
Food was really good, empanadas were awesome. My steak was cooked perfectly. Prime rib was great to. Had the cheese cake to finish it up. Fast food service too!
Suzanne D
As always, this place is a treat. Excellent food, excellent service. As usual, they were very busy, but since I made reservations through their website we were seated in under a minute. Parking may seem like an issue given the location, but it's not since they have free valet service. We started with one cheese and one pork empanada and each had half. Although they we're both wonderful I probably wouldn't mix them again, since the cheese is sweeter while the pork is savory. I had one of the specials - pork loin with sweet potatoes and bok choy (pic posted), and 11/10 would order again. I had flan for dessert (I love flan, so I'm SUPER picky about it) which was smooth, creamy and delicious. My friend had the parrilada andina, (which is for two, since she promised to bring home leftovers), which was delicious, but we agreed that my pork won as the better entree. Our server (Camile, I think) was gracious, helpful, and professional. This is a kind of a special occasion restaurant for me, so my expectations are pretty high and I have never been disappointed.
Brian Baldwin
Had the ‘sampler’ main course (903 Tasting) - it was amazing. I suggest splitting between 2 as it was huge.
Jairo Reyes
One of the best Peruvian restaurants in New England. The food was fresh and staff was friendly.
Yuki Yang
Love here!every year we fly from California to providence here is the first restaurant we have to come! Best dish and best service you will not forget about it!
Bill Dennen
Excellent food. Great atmosphere.
Susana Passaglia
Took a detour off the highway to eat on the way home. Was not disappointed! Amazing food and service! We ordered the ceviche de pescado and chaufa aeropuerto, the portion are great and took the rest home. Will definitely stop by again when in the area!
Bryan Zwicker (Zwick)
Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for
Erik U
With all of the hype that this place gets, I have to say that I kind of felt a little let down. Don't get me wrong, everything was very good, but nothing was mind blowing. There are definitely better restaurants in Providence.
Ed Moko
Had a Pisco Sour to drink, was missing a bit more Alcool. Food was to die for, the rice of my Paella was amazing. The only thing bad I have to say about the service is that I had to wait alot for the bill. But fun and attentionat screw. Thank you can't wait to go back.
Alex Gustafson
Outstanding. Simply amazing, delicious, and authentic food from parts of South America. Lovely ambiance, with friendly, professional, and helpful staff. Absolutely HUGE portions that are so good you won't want to ask for a box, but you certainly will need to. Tasty cocktails and dessert to boot - this is one of the highlights from my short time in Providence. Wish I could bring the restaurant home with me!
Elizabeth Darosa
I’m big on customer service. I must say, they’ve grown wonderfully. Being within the walls there’s a wonderful ambience which leaves you feeling like you’re overseas & not in Providence. Went there twice in a week after not going there for years (prior to the renovations).Once with my partner & the next with my kids. Both times the service was excellent. The waitstaff was professional & courteous. One of the owners came to our table both times. The first time he introduced himself asking how everything was and made genuine conversation which was nice. The second time he approached our table asking how everything was. He asked my daughter why she didn’t eat her burger & he immediately noticed it was a bit charred. Although we asked for medium well we didn’t complain but he insisted on making her a fresh new burger the way she originally asked for it. He takes his business and the food they serve their patrons very serious. This is how customer service is done. I appreciate Los Andes for the wonderful service & delicious food they serve in big portions, you’ll be leaving with doggie bags for sure. Worth a visit for sire
Ben Papandrea
The service is very good, the parking is so-so, and the food is high volume with less than spectacular taste. You def get the sense that these people care about your experience and they try to give you the feel of higher end dining. However, it appears they have sacrificed quality in order to give you a huge amount of food. I got the pork shoulder which was very salty, a little tough and a tad dry. The pork was served over enough rice to feed 3 people along with potatoes and carrots. My co-diner got paella which was also very salty, had mediocre flavor and again seemed excessive on the quantity of rice. If you want good service with a huge mound of average quality food, this is a good place for you.
Lorenzo DeCampos
Really great Peruvian food, not the best I've ever had but very close. They have some amazing appetizers though, definitely recommend the calamari!
Lester Mendoza
Had the best date ever, thank you for the great food and service!
Josh Philpott
I came here upon recommendation of a Rhode Islander in my training class. The food was outstanding. The service was also excellent. They were very attentive, even during the dinner rush. I had a chicken and a short rib empanada for my starter and the fried rice as my main. Way more food then I could finish. If I'm ever back in Providence I'll definitely be eating here again.
Karl Schaeffer
I love going to a restaurant where all the choices are so good, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to settle on just one. It simply means you have to go back!
Biggest impression? I've never been out to eat where separate paper napkins are set out on the table to rest your silverware on in between courses. Simple, brilliant... Simply brilliant!
Brendan B
Amazing food and service. My wife and I ate there over Memorial Day weekend. We had the marinated beef heart, the pork and paella. It was all incredible and the entrees were basically double portions. The owner and someone else from the front of the house both came around to make everything was good. We'll definitely be back!
Dasha Smolina
Service was outstanding. The mariachi guitar player was awesome. We loved the happening atmosphere of this place. Barely got a reservation and it was so worth it. The drinks were big. The portions were generous and the food was scrumptious. We really loved the steak here. The fried seafood was also very good. Would return here in a heartbeat mostly for the fun atmosphere. Prices are fair for the portions, experience, and quality of dining. Dessert was to die for as well. Loved our celebration here!
Dan Colwell
By far the best restaurant in RI when it comes to quality of service, selection of food, sizing sizes and prices. It’s no surprise Los Andes is consistently a top rated restaurant. Be sure to check out the weekly specials.
KPop Noonnie
My boyfriend and I went there for my birthday. I've ordered their food through GrubHub but it's our first time eating at the restaurant. Janelle is really nice and took great care of us. She even wished me happy birthday and said really sweet things to me. Even my boyfriend who rarely goes out to eat enjoyed it so much he's recommending it to everyone. Thank you so much, Los Andes, for the wonderful experience!! Will definitely be back!!
Chaohui Sun
All dishes come as pretty big size, cant finish any one. Delicious food and excellent service, must come back and recommend to friends
L T
This place is fantastic. The dishes are absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly. They will answer any questions you have about the different options. The service was fast and the food was nice and hot.
Steve Farrar
The paella was delicious and the sangria was really good I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Christian Mercado
This restaurant has a great ambience, perfect for anything between a lunch with friends to business meetings. The menu is quite comprehensive, containing staple Peruvian items as well as some Chifa cuisine elements. The heart skewers (anticuchos) are exceptionally tender and flavorful and the main plate portions are outstanding. Even though it is pricier than your regular Peruvian joint the decor, portions, presentation and service level make up for that gap. I recommend this place.
Amanda Yates
Out of this world service! What an awesome place, And great food and drinks!
Jeff Sherman
Great food and drink. Our bartender was so personable and friendly. She convinced us to get a dessert and it was so good. We will be back.
marcus collins
This was for a friend's 40th and it was my first time going. I will say the service was great. The food was OMG INCREDIBLE. And for the price the food The drink with all the extras appetizers Sangria Was absolutely amazing I would suggest this to anyone anywhere in the United States of the world to just stop by and try their food. And what I understand is they've been in business for quite some time it's some time and one of the owners still finds the time to come by and thank its patrons for coming by now that is a touch of class.
Peter Paulo
AMAZING!!! From the parking, to the bar, to the environment and atmosphere, to the food, to the service is 5 stars all the way. I can't even give a recommendation. Try everything. OK the sampler is my favorite. GET A RESERVATION

Highly recommended especially the ceviche,
Robert Scanlon
Excellent food great service. Atmosphere was awsome
SAMANTHA SMITH
Saint was an AMAZING server!!! He made us feel like we were the only ones around even though his section was getting full. Our last server was great, but Saint is fantastic and a great asset to the industry. We will be back just for him!
Papa Gagz
Great food!! Great prices
Luis Bonilla
Food was excellent and more than any normal person could eat in one sitting with quick friendly service. I don't do dessert and I had some.
motivation rodgers
Great food and atmosphere. Reservations are a must ! The servings are huge so come with an appetite.
Carrie Diaz Eaton
Made reservations on Google/Open Table. It had been a few years and I didn't realize they'd made such a wonderful outdoor patio dining space available. So if it isnt too hot, definitely try that! Quick seating on a Friday early evening. Very friendly staff. One chef Special was a Lobster Paella. I normally don't get Lobster because I live in Maine and prefer soft shell, but I'm also Peruvian so the mezcla seemed intriguing. It was huge and phenomenal. Table favorites for the familia also included the Ensalada de quinoa (lots of cheese if you like cheese), Ceviche Martini, and the starter bread. Also my pisco sour was perfect and you can order a pitcher of Chicha Morada off-menu (highly recommended). My only complaint was there were no alfajores for dessert. I love to take a caja de alfajores home after a big meal. 🤣 oh, and I didn't get to say hi to the owner.), so please Los Andes, if you are reading, send my best to the owner and the chef!
Elizabeth Olaoye
The inside of the restaurant looks very nice, good food, professional workers, just be prepared to wait up to an hour. I went on a friday and it was packed to the brim. Extremely busy.
Joy Gormley
We tried a beef empanada, civiche and a steak. The service was great and the food was too. Highly recommend.
patrick mallard
What a great place to eat! The atmosphere was teeming with energy and the food was fantastic! Indoor and covered outdoor seating. Valet parking is provided or you can street park.
Brian Young
Great atmosphere, especially their out door dinning. Beware!! Their portion size is HUGGGGGGE!!
David Purdy
We really enjoyed it!! Outside eating was really nice. All covered. Then the food was excellent and huge portions. Definitely going back!!
Jimmy Seaver
Went for our anniversary. We had seat on patio right near beautiful koi pond. Staff was great. Red Sangria and food was delicious. Thanks for beautiful night
Axel Piazzola
Great authentic Peruvian food! Speakeasy feel to it. You walk through a small dive bar into a very nice well managed restaurant. Don't forget to make reservations.
Mark Thompson
Great food, terrific service, vibrant ambiance. This place hits it in all counts. We enjoy the ceviche, empanadas, and ridiculously addictive scallops parmesana. And the craft cocktails are a huge cut above the rest.
Donna Medeiros
Dined at Los Andes. Fabulous dinner. Musician, Stephen Burke was great. Lot of patron engagement. Loved the full experience.
Dennis Charette
Absolutely delicious food, great atmosphere with live peruvian music, awesome service!!
matthew cesario
A must go to spot every time I visit Rhode Island!!
Kay Karahalis
Okay, so three stars because the food was edible, the waitress was really nice and the vibes were good. However, I’m not sure if this is a cultural thing or just me, but the food was super salty, I don’t salt my food so I’m sensitive to salty tastes so to me it tasted like the chef got a little salt shaker happy.
Clary Pardo Johnson
Reservations recommended. The restaurant was packed. Nice ambiance, artist entertaining, bigger than expected, nice bar, different menu with great food. Pleasantly surprised.
Colin Barker
Have dined here multiple times, and the service and food has always exceeded my expectations. Great for ceviche dishes, huge portion sizes also you wont leave hungry.
Though last Monday (4/2/18) my date and I shared a ceviche classico and lobster paella, food was great, but we both got sick the next day, coincidence? Maybe but have been here a lot and never had any isssues, the food was great but I think was the culprit for the stomach problems. Dish pictured is there ceviche/fried seafood plate.
Darius Young
Great service and food. The meals on the menu are in another language but the description is in English. And they valet your car for free
Andrew Bartley
Amazing seafood, steaks, and drinks. This is easily one of the best meals I've had in Providence. Be sure to make reservations though; they're busy even on weeknights now!
Trevor-Max Smith
The decor, service, and food at this restaurant are all fantastic. The prices for everything are really much cheaper than you would expect as well. When a Bolivian coworker heard we were going to Providence he immediately recommended Los Andes, we will do the same from now on as well most definitely.
Alissa Delorey
We made reservations for our Anniversary dinner for last Saturday. The restaurant is unassuming on the outside but is quite large with many rooms on the inside. We found street parking nearby, but valet is also an option, there is no designated parking lot.
I tried the Sangria and would highly recommend. My husband ordered the Don Julio margarita and later a mojito. He was disappointed with both drinks. I ordered the chicken empanada for an appetizer and my husband had the gluten free yucca rice flour empanada. We both loved our empanadas so good!
Our dinner portions were huge, enough for us each to take half our meals home. We both thought our entrees were just ok, and we would order something different if we came back. I had the steak with egg and French fries. I am used to Portuguese style gravy and prefer that, but the dish wasn't bad by any means. My husband had the dish with steak, pork chorizo and queso Blanco.
For dessert the only gluten free option was flan, so we went elsewhere for dessert.
Service was a little disappointing. We were in and out in about an hour. Overall it was ok, but a little disappointing for our special anniversary dinner.
Jenae Edoro
I love this place and I am over the moon anytime I go there. It's a place that is synonymous with making memories. I've seen bridal showers, baby showers, Anniversaries etc. The service is 2nd to none. My boyfriend brought me there for new years Eve as a surprise. They really have done alot of improvements to the restaurant and make it look beautiful no matter what the season. Their steak and ceviche are what they are known for. My favourite is the Sirlion bistecca Andina. Huge portion sizes as well. Their take out service is precise and robust but, what a treat to eat there.
Nick Johnson
Amazing restaurant flavors of Peruvian cuisine excuted perfectly. Highly recommend the ceviche, also great lomo saltado!
Sin Lach
The food is simply delicious, never a disappointment. Service was great.
Kevin James
Juat do it. The food is incredible. You can order anything on the menu and be satisfied. The service is top notch. I really can not think of one bad thing to say about this place.
Matthew Nigrelli
Very good food! Very tiny place. Book well in advance if you plan on eating here especially with parties greater than 6.
Rachael Herbison
As someone who spent some years in South America, I was very excited to hear about Los Andes. And I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, the food amazing and tasted like I remembered. We will definitely be returning. 100% recommend the ceviche, and I can't remember the name of my meal, but it was the first one in the enterees.
Aloura
Amazing service and beautiful setting. We really enjoyed the food!
Michael Buchko
Food is incredible. Drinks were fantastic. One of the best restaurants ive been too. Server Janelle was very attentive and made for a pleasurable experience
Glenn Pisani
An absolutely unbelievable experience! What an operation and amazing food. My only critique would be that the portions were huge. Probably way too much for most people to eat in one sitting. However, others might enjoy that. Service was spot on from the top down. Nevertheless, delicious and a must try in Providence.
Victor Gonzalez
The service, the quality of food and taste always impeccable. World famous for a reason. Did dine in and takeout before.
Tbelenger 88
Busy Valentines Day weekend. Got us to our table of 6 pretty quick, even though we were early for our reservations. After seating told us the the kitchen was backed up, and brought us complementary appetizers to hold us over while we had a few drinks. Was very nice of them, and both the drinks and the food were spectacular as always. We’ll always be back to Los Andes !!!
Alicia Pickering
This is one of my fiancé and I’d favorite restaurants. We have been here over 10 times, and tonight was our best experience. Every time we come, the owners greet us and the wait staff is incredible. Tonight, we had the pleasure of having Mamadou as our waiter and he was outstanding. One of the best experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend coming to Los Andes.
Josh Vanslovie
Awesome atmosphere, even better food. Request a table on the patio if weather permits
Claudine Deshaies
Visited for the second time. Delicious food, huge portions and way too many offerings to sample in a few visits. Must return.
Kev PC
Everything was good. The environment, the setting, the portions, the valet Just the food was a bit too salty for me.
Jean Giles
We celebrated my sons birthday last night and we had an amazing experience at Los Andes! Our waiter Rolando was the best, he was attentive and did a great job with explaining the menu. The presentation of the food was on point and cooked perfectly, so good! There was even a funny, handsome guy that performed with his guitar. He even sang Happy Birthday to my son! We had the best night and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rosalynn Dávila
I’ve dined here many times and the food quality and service is always superb. My favorite dish is the “Champin Callao”. It is a mix of fried seafood paired with a bowl of ceviche(blanched seafood marinated in a citrus and spicy juice). The flavors we dancing in my palate all night!!! The service is very good. The server and managers were very kind, funny and attentive.
Mina Wilson
Arguably one of the best restaurants in Rhode Island. Prices more on the expensive side but the value far exceeds the money. Do not miss out on the ceviche and their bbq!! A new favorite.
David Reynolds
So if you're looking for awesome authentic Peruvian food, make sure this spot is on your list. Call ahead as they are almost always packed. The service is superb, and the food is absolutely amazing. There is an outdoor patio that's also fantastic with a cool koi pond. We take folks here from all over and out of state and they're always impressed 👍
Athena Diaz
Great food with substantial portions! The Paella is a must try along with the Pollo Los Andes. Take a glance at the menu, make a reservation and enjoy some amazing food.
Nicole Nater Navarro
Highly recommend the 903 Trio! Get s taste of everything. Our drinks were also fantastic and the service and ambiance was excellent.
Zhongxia Yan
The food here is good! Some of the best and easiest to eat lobsters I've had
Saul Disla
Need to call ahead to make a reservation. The food is always great. But the service was not the best because of how busy they were.
Sascha Perry
Amazing service by our server Jose - gentleman with nice haircut and dreds , he knew the Menu well and gave us amazing recommendations !
David Muniz
This place is a gem and my go to for any occasion. Great food and ambiance. My go to place
Michelle Pacheco
We have been here a few times and everything I have tried is so flavorful and the waitstaff is super friendly. Ceviche is one of my favorite apps as well as the calamari. Seafood, chicken or beef for dinner options. Great portions as well and Valet parking.
Jessica Paris
I can't say enough things about this place. The food and the atmosphere are phenomenal! It's so hard to pick a dish because everything is sooo good. One of the few places I can say I've only ate the same meal once....the food is so amazing you can't help but want to try everything on the menu?! Don't let the prices on the menu scare you....I ALWAYS bring home leftovers!
James Fenton
Always great food and ambiance here. Love the upgrades they've made to the extension!
Cade
A very modest exterior hides Bolivian and Peruvian culinary wonders. A glorious fishtank greets you as you enter! Excellent shellfish and well done decapod plates await those adventurous enough to try them. Feeling a little less so? Plenty of delicious salads, chicken based dishes, and heavenly drinks are also available, all accompanied by a friendly staff and an ambiance to die for.
L P
My first time ever here for our anniversary. I ordered the arroz con mariscos and my husband got the jalea. There was enough portions of food for three more meals for me personally. The flavors were well done.
The service was great too!
Kaitlyn Paradiso
This was my boyfriend and I’s first time being here, and all I can say is this is the best restaurant experience we have ever had. The service was PHENOMENAL. Out server Nevy was so attentive and polite and kind. The food and drinks were fantastic. At the atmosphere was overall a great experience. We plan on coming here again and again! Thank you
Faustino Rocha III
Pork shank cooked over 12 hours. Steeped in rice, with pretty of flavor from garlic and vegetables. Two different type of potatoes in there also. Comes in a deep skillet
John Paul
Food and service are amazing. Arrived early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar. Bartender was friendly even while hustling to make drinks.
Joe Capri
HUGE portions! The empanadas and saltenas are delicious. Here is a picture of Lomo Saltado and a King Kong Sour, both really great. They make some really unique cocktails!
ThinkPauseGo
Unreal flavors and stellar service. This is a MUST DO. I advise you not to miss this and as far as pricing... It is expensive however honestly worth it. I almost got paella to go...thats how good it was. 😂 …

Los Andes is so much more than a restaurant - it is a dining experience! Upon arrival, you are greeted by friendly and professional staff who facilitate complimentary valet services. There are 2 dining areas: the first one features authentic and cultural interior decor and offers diners well-lit yet intimate dining. The other option allows diners to eat outside on a well decorated patio that offers a mini pond teeming with beautiful Koi fish and hanging flowers and twinkling garden lights. You really are in for a treat regardless of where you sit. Los Andes is kid friend and handicapped accessible. The drink menu offers a variety of wines, lagers, and mixed drinks - the Pink Sangria is legendary (you're welcome). The menu is a fusion of Peruvian and Bolivian cuisine. The affordable menu features seafood and meat dishes - I suggest the Causa de Limena (it changed my whole life). Portions are more than generous and the take-out option is very simple and efficient. Staff is attentive to detail and prompt. Wonderful experience every single time I go; I have gone alone, with colleagues, with family/loved ones. Without hesitation, I would recommend Los Andes to any and everyone!
Dayan Siri
Awesome Peruvian food. Great foods and drinks. Friendly and timely customer service.
Bruce Wasser
Just a bit too noisy and cramped for me.
Food was great and fast.
Reasonably good prices too.
Katie Titcomb
The food is outstanding and authentic. We were incredibly lucky to have Nevy as our server. She knew the menu inside and out and provided us with great suggestions. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and personable I would highly recommend Los Andes to anyone! The owners clearly care about their customers and the product they are providing. We had two owners come to our table to check on our experience.
Kerstin Pohl
Very attentive service. Great food. Nice ambience. Thank you!
Kay Ho
Los Andes is always great! We have never had a bad meal there, the food and sauces are fabulous, drinks are good, prices super reasonable for the quality and quantity. We always get I lunch the next day! So good. Wish I lived closer.

Excellent food! Authentic Peruvian (not that I've been to Peru....). Make a reservation. And use the valet parking. We always look forward to supper at Los Andes.

I don't live in RI anymore but someone just mentioned they're going to be in Providence and I told them they have to go here and to make a reservation immediately. Simply incredible food!

Great place, with great food. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Just be sure to make reservations. This place is always packed.

Thomas Holstein
Service was great and the food was delicious! Definitely going back again!

Fantastic place! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful; the food is impeccable, love the paella.

The outside does not prepare you for the interior. It's a fancier restaurant than a expected for the area. The food was good, although the dish my brother-in-law ordered was not to his satisfaction, mine was. But once we told the waiter, him and the manager took car of it and removed the it from the bill along with providing a gift card for and desert on the house.
Speaking of the waiter, he wasn't a delight of excellent customer service. Made the experience all the more enjoyable.
They also had a guitarist stopping by tables to seranade the diners, which was pleasant.
Overall I highly recommend this place, if you can afford it as most of the dishes are pricey, but the portions are filling and the ambiance and service is more high-end.
I would have given them 5 stars had it not been for one thing. The pre-dinner bread provided. Those things were rocks. Yeah it's petty, but I like nice warm soft bread, lol.
Fix that and it's a 5 star from me.

Great vibe! Outdoor patio area with live music is perfect for summer evenings! Interesting food and good drinks

Absolutely phenomenal food and service!!! I got the Pollo de los Andes and my fiancé got the Bistesca a lo Pobre and both were absolutely amazing! We were there for my fiance’s birthday and we had the best seats in an igloos style room next to the koi pond, it felt very exclusive and special for the occasion. Before we left the manager Diego came over to wish my fiancé a happy birthday and came back with limoncello shots for us!! All this to say we had such a special and memorable experience at Los Andes and is definitely one of our favorite spots!!!!!
Ligia Lopes
Everything was great, the food is amazing 100%, the server Chris was the best, very friendly, polite, on point with his suggestion and recommendatio. I will definitely go back and recommend 👌🏽 …

Valet parking was fast & efficient. We were treated very well by servant and restaurant owner. Their aquarium was gorgeous with wide variety. Only reason for a 4 star was because the meat 🍖 dry. …
Denisses Cortorreal
Los Andes is one of the best restaurants in Providence. Excellent service and food.
Their People are the best. Even during difficult times such as labor shortages and a storm, they manage to serve their guest in away that their time feels appreciated.
Thank you Los Andes for your continued excellent service and quality food!
I'm forever your customer.

Good portions are large and everything we ordered was delicious. Sticks we're inventive and tasty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for Peruvian food as the food quality was exceptional and prices were not outrageous for what you get.
Optimus Ryhmes
Always great. Food is on point and the service is always exceptional
Ashlyn Matthews
From the spectacular service, to the delicious food, large portion sizes and live music this restaurant was simply amazing. I can't wait to come again.

Had an awesome experience for my wife’s birthday dinner great food great service….
Mercy Iwok
The food was so flavorful! All the ingredients meshed well together to make something absolutely delicious. The portions are so huge that after appetizers, the main course, and some drinks, we had no room for dessert! A shame really but that just means I get to go back and hopefully leave room for dessert next time. Try it out, and I guarantee that no matter what you order, you'll be left thinking "wow!"
nick david
Great service, HUGE portions, outside dining in front and back. The food was amazing, and very reasonably priced as well. if you & your date love meat then I highly recommend the Parilla Andia; it had everything from steak, chorizo, chicken, fried Yuka, rice and potato salad. The menu says it serves two but can easily accommodate three!
W McFly
The ceviche here... my goodness no words can describe how perfectly balanced it tastes. Definitely spring for the entree rather than the app... it's worth it FOR SURE. Also their cocktails are really tasty, and the bartenders work their butts off- gotta show some love for their hard work!
ttedstone33
Food was incredible. Atmosphere was very nice and chill. Our waiter was the best! Very knowledgeable. I forget his name but he had long hair in a ponytail. We loved it and will deff be back
Duane Pacheco
Amazing menu a great variety of Peruvian and Brazilian food. Their ceviche second to none. Great service and atmosphere as well.

Amazing Food!! We were a party of 4 and everyone was more than satisfied. The food is beautiful to look at and delicious. Prices are moderate for what you get. And the specialty items and seafood that no other restaurant has, are amazing! Book early because they fill up fast. Drinks are also great.

Absolutely wonderful! We drove all the way from Haverhill Massachusetts to check it out because my sister swears by it and let me tell you, it was worth the drive and I will be going again ASAP! This restaurant might be the best thing in Rhode Island! it should be the state’s most prized possession. The food is unbelievable, the drinks are delicious and the ambiance is perfect for a date or a family. it was packed when my wife and I went but it didn’t feel crowded. Our dinner was still intimate and private which I think is a very difficult task to accomplish. The only thing better was the service. Everyone, from the young lady at the front door to the gentleman who sat us, was kind and polite. BUT the icing on the cake was our waitress ( I wish that I could remember her name and I am kicking myself for losing the paper I wrote it down on! But she worked Saturday Oct. 23 and sitting in the back where there were only about 6 tables). She was the most amazing waitress I have ever had in 37 years of life. We go out to eat a lot and have had some really good waiters and waitresses but none of them are even in the same category as this woman. If I could give her 10/5 stars I would! She took time to explain everything to us, ensuring that we understood the specials and the ingredients. She showed up often but not too much and each time she did so with a reason: checking on our meal, our drinks, our napkins, etc. She joked with my wife but it wasn’t forced. she was attentive to us both but was respectful and sweet. It never felt forced or obligatory but instead it was always with intention. I believe she genuinely cared if we had an amazing experience. She was so good that I would eat out at McDonalds if I could have her as our waitress again. I can’t say enough about her or the Los Andes team. What an amazing time!
Tony Petruzzella
We just went to Los Andes this week, and the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. Our server, Jazmine, was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the menu options, even providing helpful recommendations.
Fanuel Muindi
Wow! A must visit. Some of the seafood dishes are very pricey. The salmon is great.
William Thurber
If someone ever gives this restaurant a bad review don't believe it! How can you ever give this place less than five stars. My wife and I have eaten here at least 20 times.
Mike Summers
My all-time favorite restaurant. My wife and I went one evening to try a different cuisine and it was so good and affordable that we made reservations for the next day and went there again. We live about 2.5 hours away and have made dinner reservations on a few occasions just because we enjoy it so much. The outdoor space is beautiful and they accommodate dietary needs very well.
Lisa McCarthy
The food is very good, the sangria is tasty. I would definately recommend it. My only complaint is the long wait, with no wait area..the front bar is always overcrowded
Amelia P.
My husband and I went for lunch today, it’s our first time back since COVID so it’s been a minute. Rolando was our server and every time he left the table we smiled at each other and said how thoughtful and kind he is, double checking everything was up to par right down to the 4 empanadas de arroz we ordered to go. Thank you Rolando!! Food as always was amazing but you made the afternoon for us!
kim hoyte
This was my first time eating at this restaurant. I got the Salmon Andina and it was delish. The Salmon was well seasoned and the rice was out of this world. I don't think I can find another place that has tasty food like this. Very pleased customer.
James McCarthy
Great food and great service. The margarita and the sangria were excellent, and the empanadas were delicious. I had the Pollo Napolitano and my wife had the ceviche for main dish and both were very good. We were there on a Friday night, and it took a long time. We had reservations but had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. Then we had to wait for the waiter, and then our drinks came after we finished the appetizers. Finally, it took a good 30 minutes to get our entrees. It's worth the wait but I wouldn't come here if you are going to a show or movie, especially on a Friday night. It's super busy and the kitchen and bar are definitely backed up.
Estela Polanco
Amazing restaurant. Highly recommended

This is a gem in an unassuming part of town. The food was amazing and the staff were superb.

I absorbed love Los Andes. ( post) appetizers: ceviche and the fried calamari. DISH :Jalea fried seafood platter ( calamaries, fish of the day, clams and shrimp, with yuca. Deserts: passion fruit cheesecake and tres leche cake
Jake Porter
Everything from start to finish was absolutely stellar. The decor, the service, the atmosphere, everything was exactly as we had pictured it when we imagined a perfect romantic dinner for valentine's day. We started with the cocktail that was garnished with a grey goose infused strawberry dipped in chocolate, our potato based appetizer with the avocado puree and chicken was phenomenal as well. When our entrees came we were surprised at the amount of food they give you, the portions are large enough to take home for leftovers the next day. Everything we ordered tasted so wonderful and had such a beautiful balance. At one point the owner came to check on our table and he was so kind and personable. It is very clear he puts a lot of love into this restaurant, and we are ecstatic to return soon to try another delicious entree. Visiting Los Andes for dinner was the best decision we could have made for ourselves. If anyone is wondering if it's a good place to try and have never been, do it. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first time back and Los Andes since they opened the patio - it was so lovely! We felt like we were on a tropical island right in the heart of the city. Food and drinks were delicious (as always). Waiter was top notch. Our kids, 10 and 12, felt comfortable trying new things and loved the special drinks and empanadas.
jose jimenez
Awesome place. Great attention
The food is delicious. Ceviche was our favorite
Mike Godin
So many wonderful flavors in their food!! Love this place!
Kay UdeGod
If you can get a reservation and get in. This is exquisite and at least a once in a lifetime experience.
Eva Marina
We had a great "father's day/birthday" dinner. The calamari was just out of this world! Pink sangria, lomo saltado, bistek a lo pobre and salmon... You can't go wrong! Alex, the server, was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the menu. Thank you Los Andes Team and especially Alex!
Daniel C Costa
First time there and was great food is great and owner verry out going well worth the trip
Elizabeth Cupertino
This restaurant is amazing. Staff is always super welcoming and helpful. They legitimately act like they're happy to have you there. Food is outstanding. Drinks are great. Everything is very reasonably priced.

My wife and I had the pleasure of going to this restaurant this past Saturday night. My wife happens to be of Hispanic dissent. I want to tell you that the food was absolutely out of this world. Our server his name is Vinny. He couldn’t of been more charming. Fortunately because of my wife I didn’t need help navigating through the menu. But Vinny was right there for us if we had any questions. I found out the story of this restaurant. It seems that there are three brothers that started the restaurant And still run it on a daily basis. We had the pleasure to meet one of them. Because it was our anniversary he thought it upon himself to give us two homemade lemon cello. They were amazing. If this was not enough. The ambience of this restaurant is spectacular. I highly recommend it to anyone. Please ask for Vinny. He is a great representative of this restaurant.
Erica Nunnally
This place is a true gem of Providence. The atmosphere, the care they have taken throughout this pandemic and their food are top notch. We enjoyed an igloo in the outdoor patio this winter. Spectacular. Warm and inviting. Our server made perfect pairing recommendations for cocktails to suit our meals. I dare you to try to leave space for dessert.
Tanya Kieron
We have been here several times. We love to sit on the patio and watch the koi fish in the pond. The food is always fabulous and the service is always above and beyond. Jarret was our server tonight, and he treated us like family. The portions are huge and we never leave hungry.
bobby pawlitschek
This place is AMAZING!!!! From the curbside free Valet, to the greeter, to the person seating you , and the wait staff. You walk in to a very clean , great atmosphere, plenty of room between other visitors dining ,, then you get a menu that is spectacular!! Not to mention the bar there with a GIANT salt water tank with colorful fish and live plants, the management always makes an appearance to each guest to make sure Everything is to your liking!!! You will never leave LosAndies restaurant hungry! I highly recommend this place,, 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is amazing! Delicious food and mouthwatering deserts from The FABULOUS Peruvian and Bolivian Cuisines.
Exquisite set up with a huge elegant patio featuring a large bar.
An absolute MUST EXPERIENCE if you come to or live in Providence.

Everything I’ve had here is exceptional. I love coming here. And our server (Marcelo) was great. Really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great and it was. We’re coming back

This place is one of my ultimate favorites. The decor the staff. The manager is a class act.
Now the food, every dish I've ever had I could literally eat 2 of them. Flavor cooked to perfection every time. Definitely a 10!!!
Alfred Roda
A really great experience. The food was excellent. The waiter was very personable. A definite beautiful place to go out and enjoy a great atmosphere.
If you are looking for a beautiful, different place to go, I highly recommend Los Andes!
Lyann Antongiorgi
Our waitress was awesome. I don’t remember her name, but she went above and beyond for us..
Shana Boyer
By far one of the best, if not THE best restaurant in Providence. The service is always exceptional down to the last detail, we had the pleasure of having Gustavo as our server this evening and he was (as expected) incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and personable and made sure our every need was met. As someone who spent years in the service industry it still amazes me that EVERY time we come our table is visited by at least two of the three brothers to make sure everything is perfect. Cesine, Omar and Diego are completely amazing, always holding the highest standards seen in the industry. Amazingly delicious food, incredibly generous portions, meticulously curated atmosphere...a complete oasis in the heart of Providence. Do not miss the opportunity to experience the love that is Los Andes, you will not be disappointed. ❤
Aliafzal Bhanji
Wait line at the entrance was weird, but the food and drinks were quite good.
Marissa Goddard
It is a very unique cool place. However the meal I got was way over priced with barely any seafood. I got the special lobster paella, I was so beyond excited to go to this place for a few weeks and it was quite disappointing. Next time I definitely will go with a steak. But still disappointed, paid 70 for a meal that wasn’t impressive.
Chris
Amazing service and great food... love this place. Portions are huge but the quality is not sacrificed one bit
Daniel Keith
5 stars. Due to my poor eating skills I almost choked to death but the staff saved my life. Most embarrassing dining experience of my entire life. I was eating the most amazing Calamari I have ever had when a piece got lodged in my throat. I got up frantically as everyone around me panicked. A huge Hispanic dude came out from the back of the house and lifted me into the air multiple times. The piece of Calamari came flying out of my mouth. Thanks to the large mysterious Hispanic man I am alive. I finished my meal with tremendous embarrassment and the food was really good. I may never return to my shame but will recommend it to as many people as possible.
Brian Poli
Always great food and service. They always go out of their way to ensure that the patrons have a great experience. Food is excellent and there is really nothing else like it. The paella is my go to and this time my girl tried a dish that ended in Aeropuerto which was amazing. We had the calamari for an appetizer as well which was great. I always forget to take pictures because I dig right in.
Marlene Prescott
Loved this restaurant. It was highly recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The food was excellent and so was the service. I do plan to return.
Allen Iannacone
Los Andes is some of the best South American food you can get. I have eaten here many times and the food is always amazing! The drinks are also great. It's also a amazing value. You can't go wrong eating here.
Jessica Brandenburg
Great place staff is amazing. If you go to Rhode Island you have to check it out.
Melodie Chase
I have been going to Los Andes since 2013, their quality has never declined even as they have expanded and grown. Their restaurant is beautiful, a hidden gem in the heart of providence and their food is out of this world! The attention to detail is so special
Ker Pow
Amazing food. From appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious. (We didn't have dessert, but I'd bet that it's delicious.) When we get back to the area, this will DEFINITELY be one our list to visit again.
Liz Colon
Always plenty of delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful service!
Tyler Wicklund
Food was delicious! Staff was kind and the manager was incredibly friendly. I saw him running just as hard as every server on the floor.
silverlake girl
My salmon was excellent. My friend ordered steak and she sent it back twice. She said, "Never again!"
Liz Dickinson
This restaurant is unique in terms of the menu choices--so delicious! The service is friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered the pobre vegitariano. Portions are huge so you can take them home. Manager came by to welcome us and check in on how things were going. Cocktails are so good, too. Definitely check this place out. You will want to come back again and again.
Rohit Gupta
Went there as it was Highly rated but foo d the place average. Bad neighborhood. Un-overwhelming menu and food.
Corey Stallings

I went to Los Andes for the first time last night. Check in was courteous and fast. Seating was faster than I actually thought. Our server was fine, I think she needs to be more emphatic with people to try to make a better connection with guests. Food was impressively OK. I am a HUGE FAN of Peruvian food so I’m always looking for the best Authentic food. We had Causa Limeña which was good but nothing out of this world. Martini Ceviche was extra extra extra sour, they have to measure their lime because they for sure used to much last night but at least fish was fresh. I had Chaufa Aeropuerto, and let me tell you, it was more like Chifa, which is fine but definitely is not Chaufa! My husband had Salmon he really liked it. The best was the dessert: Tres Leches; it was perfectly sweetened and texture was so pleasant! I would definitely go back just for the dessert! I think they’re missing some real Peruvian flavors even that the food is not bad but for ME is not authentic. The place overall is really interesting and the atmosphere is inviting! Their bussers are amazing and the attention is really good until you leave the place. The guys from Valet are really good too!
Aaron Mittra (AD)
Incredible food and incredible portions. Bring a huge appetite. We made a mistake of ordering too many appetizers....yup you guessed it, we couldn't make a decent dent on our main course. However, we didn't cook the next day. A little loud inside to carry on a decent conversation. Make reservations and show up early so you can check in. They have a complementary valet service, although we found parking on the street. Dont be fooled by the entrance and waiting area... the inside is very nice indeed. Highly recommend the prime rib dinner .... smooth.
Shirley Samayoa
The renovations that they have done to Los Andes is terrific it is a very beautiful comfortable place to eat now. The food was exceptional and each serving was very plentiful. The wait staff and management were very pleasant and accommodating I certainly would go again--soon!
R K
This restaurant is amazing. The portions are great, no they are amazing. We will be back!
Justin Furtado
This Peruvian restaurant has been one of the top rated in Providence for a few years now, so I decided to try it out. This place was absolutely amazing and the food is unique. I had the Los Andes burger, one of the Chef's specials, and it was really good and different. The burger was made up of short beef ribs, rib eye, sirloin and brisket, toped with bacon, plantains, a tomato jam and crispy onions, the flavors were really amazing. My girlfriend also had the ribeye andina, which had an amazing sauce and was cooked to perfection.
The staff was also very attentive and friendly in making recommendations. I would also recommend the empanadas, which I can say was some of the best I had, with a very flakey crust and cooked fresh. Lastly, anybody who comes in should try the Krakito Mojito, which is a Chef's special drink made of dark rum, passion fruit and ginger, it was really tasty and goes down smooth. Recommended for any tourist too, release the Kraken!
