Atmosphere, service, and food were all great. You can sit inside and watch the pizzas going in the big ovens or sit outside as well. We started with their signature salad which was robust and fresh. I got the gf pepperoni and mushroom pizza with vegan cheese which was delicious and thin crusted. Husband said it was quote GOOD pizza. We ended with the blueberry oat cobbler with ice cream on top and it was phenomenal. I do wish it had more oats to the blueberry ratio but other than that fabulous dessert.

y favorite pizza place since I moved to Providence. Family friendly atmosphere, a big warm pizza oven amuse children and even grownups. Servers are friendly. I love to have pepperoni and large half and half with mushrooms/ Kalua pie. The price is cheap for 3 people compared to the money I pay to other restaurants. I hope this business last as long as possible until my son becomes a grownup.

Very good tasting wood oven pizza. Not my all time favorite, but near the top. Went with a Pepperoni and crumbled sausage. Good crust, decent crunch. A little light on the toppings. Not bad at all.

Let me just start out by saying, for one, this place is truly addictive and delicious! Secondly, my husband and I have our "go-to" regular pizzas we always order. I get the GLUTEN FREE pepperoni and mushroom Flatbread, and my husband gets the Chicken Bacon Ranch (with gluten🤣) I am so glad this place exists. The brownie sundae dessert is amazing too! And its offered in gluten free as well! 👍Staff is always do kind. Shout -out to John who is AMAZING. We always request him!! The staff is very mindful of allergies and always attentive. This is literally OUR MOST FAVORITE PIZZA PLACE EVER!!!! We have also been to the Portland Maine location as well!! WE LOVE FLATBREAD COMPANY!!!!!! Drinks and desserts are spot on too!!

Fun place. Excellent pizza and a decent draft selection. Service was friendly but on the slower end, on premise parking is a bit chaotic as the parking lines appear to be close together making double parking a standard. All in all, definitely worth checking out !

Hand tossed dough, fresh ingredients, wood fired ovens, awesome staff, and reasonable prices combined with an uber flexible menu is what you get at Flatbread. Located just off Thayer Street in Providence this family friendly makes the tastiest pizza at a price that won't break the bank. Oh, and the Maine Root beer is is pure ambrosia.

This place is a great stop for a good flat bread with fresh and locally (New England) sourced ingredients and a pint of good local craft beer on tap. The place is casual, hipster yet manned in a corteus and professional manner. If you are looking for a place around Brown University with a great beer selection than look no further.

I was initially charmed by the cozy, rustic atmosphere of this place. But I genuinely like the no frills, casual style of the way things are done here: just a few flatbread and salad options with the option of customizing your own. We ordered two of the specials (a Margherita style flatbread and a pork shoulder, hot sauce with pickled veggies flatbread) plus a custom salad. Everything was delicious and included local ingredients.

Very delicious food but wouldn’t dine in again. They would not split our check into two separate checks, didn’t check on us after the food was served, and neglected to tell us that sodas weren’t free refills. There were only two other full tables in the entire place. These are very basic customer service requests, and when there are multiple restaurants in the area to choose from it’s tough to dine at a place like that. However we would definitely pick up a to go order next time, the food was excellent.

Original review was one star due to how chewy the pizza used to be years ago. Flatbread reached out and I tried again. Not sure if the recipes were changed but so far, this was the best pizza we've had in RI. The salad and chicken was also the best we've had. No exaggeration, all the food literally melted in your mouth, I literally didn't even have to chew the chicken! Both the pizza and salad were seasoned extremely well, tasted fresh, there was no overburdening flavor and felt like a professional chef made them. Everything was light and worked together. Staff were also super duper nice! I'm not sure if this was a one off from my previous experience, will update as needed.

We held a small family reunion in the back area, for 12 of us. The staff was amazing! So patient as we waited for latecomers and the pizza was, as usual, fantastic. I ordered the veggie special: corn, herbs, cilantro, spicy finish. Love their white pizzas!!

Get the Mopsy with pulled pork. You won’t regret it. We love flatbread! It has been such an easy go-to pizza joint for our family. With its big open space, it makes it less intimidating to bring our not-so-quiet toddler out, and we all still have a great time. Service has always been amazing and timely. We typically ride our bikes over, since parking can be a hassle, but it’s always worth it!

First time at this location and it was as good as any other. We came in for beers but couldn’t help but order a pie to enjoy. I don’t eat pizza often but when I do it’s only for pies like they make here. Delicious. Staff was friendly and took covid precautions seriously to make us and them feel comfortable and safe.

Hello ALL! This place was SO good, and extremely whimsical! One large flatbread was enough to satisfy me and my friend; we're both really big and we go to the gym together, so that's saying a lot! I also really liked the ciders, and my friends had the salad and enjoyed that too. That means: flatbreads, salads, and drinks are all great! And for a reasonable price too. Let's ride.

Wow, delicious and extremely kid friendly. The staff was very attentive to our needs and made sure the experience was enjoyable. Our toddler really enjoyed watching the pizza being made as well. Never disappointed. Also, they have some parking available in the lot out front so don't make the mistake we did by parking a few blocks away because we didn't know... Though after the food, a couple of extra steps wasn't a bad thing.

My friends ordered 4 pizza and one of them was a customer coming back while we were all new to this place. The pizza and dessert were really nice. 5 people with 4 pizza was way awesome. Staff were just fine like any normal ones, very nice! My friend really love this place have been talking about it all day so we decided to go and I wasn't disappointed at all (just that I forgot to bring the root beer bottle home for a memo). Definitely will come back maybe on my birthday and get another bottle!!!

I love this place! I eat here whenever I'm in Providence. The pizza is thin-crust and very tasty. I had one of their specials, a cheese pizza topped with potatoes, leeks, garlic, and herbs, the first time I came. I wish it was part of their permanent menu! There is also an excellent selection of local beers on tap. Service was great, the atmosphere was perfect (not too loud), and the leftovers were delicious the next day!

Great atmosphere and staff. Only reason for 3 stars was that in my opinion the beer selection was average as well as the pizza. Don't get me wrong, I love pizza and beer but I've been to places with better pizza and beer. I would still recommend this restaurant for a date or a friend get together as you can all order different pizzas!

Flatbread is consistent pizza, solid crust, the specials are very good and super creative. They have hands down the best gluten & dairy free pizzas in Providence. Was a little underwhelmed by the freshness of the salad greens on my last visit, and broken hearted when they were closed for a Brown U private event. 5 stars otherwise. The parking lot is tiny... Plenty of free street parking though.

Fantastic pizza made with high end organic ingredients. Try the buffalo chicken pizza specialty pizza if you can. Allergy friendly, and willing to work with you on your requirements. Friendly service and the kids got to watch them make the pizza and see the fired up ovens. Will be back.

The servers are incredibly charismatic and the pizza is unbelievablely good. They host events for local groups, like adult artists with autism, and benefit the community around them. Also, there is free parking for customers. The tables are clean and the place itself is well-kept. I have nothing bad to say about this place, cannot recommend it enough.

The place is cool, looks really nice, and the staff is friendly. However, for a company that focuses on flatbread (essentially fancy pizza), I thought the food could have been a little better. It wasnt bad and I was hesitant to give a 3 star rating but it didn't "wow" me. The menu reads great, but the final product wasn't great. Seems like a nice healthy option for kids though if you want to trick them into eating healthy options. It's spacious, inviting, and they have a full bar.

Absolutely love this place! Pizza is delicious- everything is fresh and organic. Kid friendly with a library area for ALL. Kids get a peace of dough to entertain themselves with. The art kids create becomes part of the menu cover inserts. I would come more often if I could, but the 3 hour drive keeps me from doing so...

Brought the family here to try the pizza boy they were happy. The service was excellent and recommended the veggi pizza which we are glad he did. The pizza is chewy yet soft and very yummy. We got a large cheese, large half veggi and half sausage and a small pork pie. All the toppings are very fresh and the pizza sauce is yummy. You can tell the pizza makers have thought about each bite and made the pizza so that each one is amazing. The pork pie was sweet and savory with the bbq sauce red onions and pineapple. But honestly I would just recommend the good old cheese pie. Nothing to hid behind.. and quite yummy. Highly recommend the pizza.

Great beer, great food! It is your quintessential college town pub/brewery/pizza place, but better than most I've been to. The place is huge and would allow for any size groups. There is a plethora of mostly regional beers on tap. There's also a large patio to soak in the sun on the pretty days.

Thank you for a DELICIOUS gluten and dairy free cheeze pizza! They were happy to remake it for me when a order mix up happened, and they gave me a free flatbread for my trouble. I was happy to wait, but now I have even more reason to order again! Thank you Amy for doing that. It was not expected and generous. We are so happy to support the local LGBT youth group, thank you for donating a portion of the cost to them! Hands down the best gluten and dairy free take away pizza in the city. You have two seven year old kids who are extremely happy. When the craziness dies down, we are absolutely going to come visit and dine outside.

We make it a point to visit Flatbread Company for their gluten free pizza when we are in town. I wish they had some on the west coast too. The pizza and service is great. Their drinks are good too. We rarely take any left overs home because it is that good. Try the pesto. It's fabulous.

Fun, conscientious place. They have great pizza, with the crust on the thin side. There is usually a good vegetarian option. Local-sourced foods, and interesting options (seaweed, I think) can be part of the options. Good salads. Great root beer float. Not much else, other than some craft beers and cocktails. There's a couch area with books, since it is family friendly and popular. Community events hosted here sometimes. Bernie Sanders fans are going to be much happier here than Trump fans.

But the staff and management recently went above and beyond for me, helping me pull off a gender reveal surprise for my best friend from 1500 miles away. Love their thin crust pizza. Right next to Brown University so can get crowded. They don't take reservations but you can call ahead to be put on the waiting list. Great place to bring your student and all of her/his friends.

The pizza here is really good, like really really good. Especially their take on BBQ Hawaiian. We have gone out of our way to eat both here and at the Portsmouth, NH branch. The kitchen is actually a big wood fired oven out in the open in the middle of the reference. The service here leaves something to be desired. The restaurant is definitely overcrowded with tables and not enough servers. Menu options are limited, If you don't like flatbread pizzas or limited salad options you are pretty much out of luck. Parking options are limited but there was a free valet service when we went during the weekend.

An excellent place for lunch in the East Side. Pizza is prepared and wood-fired in plain view of of the dining room. Pizza was flavourful, crisp, and piping hot. Service was fast, and the servers were attentive and friendly without being overbearing.

Delicious pizza! The restaurant itself is nice with lots of tables, an outdoor patio area, and a quieter area in the back with couches and a library for reading and relaxing. They even have parking which is rare on Thayer Street! I only wish they were better with keeping take-out orders warm- everytime we've ordered from there we've picked up a cold pizza.

Nice place off Thayer. Has room for larger groups too. It was very loud so great place to bring kids because they can be loud and not cause a bother. You can see all the action with the unique ovens. They use quality local ingredients as well! Definitely recommend making reservations though on a weekend night.

Generally good pizza, it is somewhat thinner than what one would normally find in the US. The eating area doesn't necessarily have the best ambience or anything, but if you are just going to eat, then it is a nice place for a good meal.

Building your own pizza here should be a crime. The specialty pizzas here are amazing and are perfectly made in the on-site stone oven. All the food, ingredients, beers, drinks, and even the firewood are sourced locally which makes for some of the best food I've had on Thayer St.

Great brick oven pizza! Gourmet topping, mix and match your favorite, or pick one of their specialty pizzas. They have vegetarian and meat based specialty pizzas that change regularly. The bar is a great place to get a craft beer, the bar tenders are great. They know a lot about the drinks they serves and can help you make the best choice for you. I personally love their Mopsy's Kalua Pork Pie, it is heaven in every bite. The goat cheese mixed with the savoriness of the pork and BBQ sauce is an amazing mix of creamy and tangy. My other favorite is the Homemade Sausage flat bread with the fennel sausage, it's such a rich filling pie. It's not a complete visit unless I get both, and a beer or two at the bar.

I like their pizza a lot. Staff has been super friendly. Only thing is would like more sauce on the pizza. Somehow it looks like they don't put much sauce on. Just my own observation, and not speaking for others.

I came here with a group when my son was being shown around the college. I would give it a five but there were a few nays about our visit that would cause me to not return. First, the server was lovely and knew her job better than most. The food was amazing and worth ordering for take out anytime. The atmosphere was nice. What I didn't like is the little monsters running around out of control. I realize they are so misbehaved that their own parents just didn't want them around either and it was easier to have them tormenting other guest then themselves. One bully was torturing another little girl so much so that I almost got off my chair to set him straight. The mom finally saw what bully boy was doing and got her little girl away from him. Kids need to be seated and behave or kept home - please. The second was the 15 minute extra delay in the one pizza made especially with no onion or mushroom so I could have it. Everyone else was done eating and I had to sit there stupidly because this place brought all the other ones first. wth? Think a little here, okay? Then they ordered desserts which were out of this world and almost worth sitting in there for. Maybe you can get those for take out also? I do recommend this place if you can tolerate uncontrollable kids - and they can't always be in there - can they? It's not Flatbreads fault parents have no respect for others trying to enjoy a good meal.

Went here today with another mom and 3 year old. Staff were wonderful, even when my little guy decided to lick the parmesan cheese shaker and the table. SMH-- year olds!!! Their organic salad is large enough for 2 adults share and really yummy. I love the little carrot bits.

This place uses the freshest ingredients available and the beer selection is impressive (two roads, foolproof, sierra nevada and others). I completely forgot the bartenders name but he was super-friendly and entertaining.

I've loved their pizzas since before they birthed a new location in Providence. The salad with goat cheese and marinated chicken is amazing, the lemonade (and the hot lemonade!) is exquisite, and the pizzas, well, no pizzas in Providence can hold a candle to the pork pie. And when the buffalo chicken pizza is on the specials menu - grab it!

The pub sing I attend regularly every 2nd and 4th Monday is held here, and it has always been a welcoming place. Their dedicated tap lines for their gluten free ciders also means my husband can have one with confidence, and that is also awesome. The one time there was an issue that could've been sad (they booked a Brown freshman class event the same time as pub sing), they made it VERY right by giving us all free flatbread, beer, and yes, even cider from that dedicated tap :)
