Reviews of The Gladly
The Gladly is nestled in the heart of the Biltmore. A classic venue for working professionals to escape and enjoy a meal and cocktails.
The venue is a staple favorite as they are very consistent when it comes to the service they provide.
I’ve been here several times and can say that what I get is always the same top notch experience.
From the servers, to the host and including the bartender the service is pristine.
You can never go wrong with their original salad. Such an interesting mix of ingredients as the dish is served cold, presented and mixed table side. You can never go wrong ordering this.
I’m usually skeptical of ordering salmon as many places rarely cook it so it’s not dry. I’ve had the salmon enough times to assure you I savored each bite.
I’ve also had the steak which is also a vested dish that will satisfy your taste buds.
The cocktails are always strong and if you’re unsure of which drink to order an easy conversation with the bartender will remedy that.
This place was exactly what I was wanting for my birthday dinner! The decor and atmosphere are lively and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was excellent! I definitely recommend this place for a special occasion or if you're just looking for a nice dinner out..
Perfection from start to finish! We were here for New Year's and were not disappointed. Our server, Terry, was fantastic! He was very friendly and gave very honest opinions and recommendations. I had the House of Lords cocktail and it is my new favorite! Perfectly balanced and delicious. My husband had The Beginner's Luck and said it was one of the best cocktails he ever had. I had the chopped salad which was a great variety of flavors and textures while my husband had the daily soup (sausage and lentil) which he loved. We had the noble bread plate which was delicious given it's simplicity. We both had the scallops on Terry's recommendation and OMG absolutely the BEST scallops I ever had. The were beyond perfection in both seasoning and texture. I think any other scallops will be a disappointment from now on as The Gladly has really set the bar at an unsurpassable level. The grits had a very smooth, creamy, and just luscious texture. Bread pudding was nice and light and the sauce was to die far. Literally not one piece of constructive criticism I could even offer. I can't wait to come back!!!
I'm a big fan of Citizen Public House but this was my first visit to their sister restaurant, The Gladly, and it was just as excellent! A few menu items are available at both restaurants and we couldn't resist the chopped salad here either. I also tried one of the specials that night: short rib ravioli and it was delicious. The cocktails were also really good. I will definitely be back and would like to try something from the raw bar next time too.
A lovely experience on a lovely Phoenix night. We enjoyed dinner on the patio. Nice ambiance, even with Camelback Road a stones throw away. The entire staff was polite and caring, and our server (Rachel) was fun and delightful. The salmon I ordered was great, my partner's scallops were delicious, and the bread pudding makes my mouth water now just thinking about it. Looking forward to returning!
Gorgeous venue, attentive staff and delish food. My friend and I are in town and stumbled across this place. It was eye catching at night with cool lighting and candles. So we decided to turn the car around. We were greeted by a friendly hostess then the waitress. The grits and Brussel sprouts were different but didn’t disappoint. We both enjoyed a house cocktail which were smooth. Then for dinner we had the chicken with a spicy potatoes. Take my word it’s a great classy place for a fine dining meal.
This is a top favorite of mine for lunch or dinner. It’s great to take clients to if you’re looking for a higher end place and vibe. The chopped salad is absolutely delicious and the salmon and mashed potato’s are to die for! Hands down best I’ve ever had!!! And I eat out a lot! The service is top notch. And the drinks are phenomenal, you should definitely try the Glady Manhattan and That One Drink. So amazing. Check it out! Never a disappointment. Ever.
Great vibes for a neighborhood restaurant. There are indoor and outdoor space where you can bring dogs to dine in with you. The staffs were very friendly and well trained with hospitality mindset. Try the experimental cocktail menu, where the bartender will make you the special cocktail of the day (it’s ok to try…if you don’t like it, the waitress will change the cocktail for you.)
I would recommend you to order crab cake and brussel sprout . The sauce for the crab cake was very refreshing and they use high quality graded crab. The brussel sprout was not that crispy but the mashed potato was out of this world! They put truffle oil in it. Very delicious. The dish that I was not impressed the most was the poke bowl. I think it lacked of the soy sauce flavor (it was a think lemon cream sauce).
We went here for our girls bachelorette party over the weekend. This was our fancy dinner. It was delicious 🤤 everything everyone has was up to par. The drinks were incredible and not too badly priced. Staff was very attentive and even gave the bride a note from the staff for being a bride to be. Dark nice ambiance inside.
Overall, a nice restaurant with many speciality cocktails and drinks. The service was not up to the quality of the food. We had to ask for refills on drinks and dirty glasses were never removed. No serious attempt was made to sell dessert. Short Ribs and accompanying sauce were great.
Great place to bring friends and colleagues. Food and service are fabulous! Our waitress Liz is amazing and always helpful with recommendations on new items to try. This week's special....tritip French dip .. amazingly delicious!
We were a party of seven... birthday dinner, on a week day night around 6ish. Let me just say... This place has the BEST waiting staff I have ever seen in my life. I'm gonna praise them. Every one of them, from the one we ran into outside, before arriving for the meal, to the very last one of the night. Amazing. These people seem to really enjoy their jobs as well. What a breath of fresh air. The food was really good. Everything arrived perfect. Drinks were amazing. We all had a wonderful time. It does looks strange from the outside, next to MedOne… kinda like an office building. Looks can be deceiving. Do not let that fool ya. I would fully suggest going here to experience the ambiance, the food and beverages, and especially the wait staff. All wait staff, everywhere in the world, should be trained by this staff. Just amazing. I’ll GLADLY go back! Ha! I crack myself up.
Great atmosphere and staff, good happy hour food on the menu, burgers were really good and my son enjoyed his steak. I was not a fan of the crab cakes but would go back for the HH.
Food, bar, and service were all excellent. Atmosphere after dark was less neighborhood eatery, more upscale swanky joint with an interesting clientele mix of those in shorts and those in sports coats, a bit like “come as you are”
Fantastic place, the food, drinks and service is all top notch. I have been here a few times and this place keeps raising the bar.
They have a fantastic Bourbon 🥃 and Whiskey collection and offer a clear ice ball pressed right on the table. The rock lasts for 3-4 drinks easy. A must try if you like whisky.
The food is super. They also have a happy hour which is an amazing deal for the quality of menu items.
The sausage & pretzel, burrata and super yummy nuts are superb. The crab cakes and tuna crudo are good.
The short ribs and chimichuri chicken are phenomenal. The chicken dish is quite spicy and very flavorful and savory.
The service is exceptional and overall ambiance is great.
First of all I just want to say that it was a really hot day and I had just got done at my orthopedic surgeon getting my cortisone injection in my knee that's my wallet at home however it was hot and I needed something cool to drink and a lady named Tara went above me under Call of Duty and made sure I was taken care of first of all most places won't accommodate you yet alone accommodate you when you're not even buying anything at the time but this place surely did
Really delicious lunch. Giuliano was a fantastic server, highly attentive with great customer service skills. He helped us get out the door on time for my flight. Thanks for a great experience!
great food - we got the yellowtail crudo, commander burger & chimichurri chicken. the potato casserole on the chicken dish was soooo good, burger was cooked to perfection. great spot with a good spread of options
I really wanted to enjoy my meal at The Gladly however unfortunately there were just a few too many disappointments to rate it higher. The drinks were strong and on point, however the food was a bit of a letdown. The burrata appetizer was entirely too salty, and the cheese itself just didn’t have the classic flavors you’d expect from such a delicious soft cheese. The parsnip purée with the short rib had a very unappealing flavor to it that both myself and my boyfriend found to be inedible. The short rib itself however was cooked very well and had good flavor. The Chimichurri chicken was good, but again not great. I’m not sure if this was just a one-off bad meal here based on all the positive reviews, however I would pass on returning to find out.
I was looking for a nice place with great ambiance for my birthday. A friend advised we go to the gladly and after looking at pictures and the menu it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.
I’m a bourbon fan and was happy to see how many options they had. I ended up with a Manhattan (my first ever at the age of 44) and it was delicious.
We had two other people show up unexpectedly and the restaurant easily accommodated them. We had the crudo and shrimp cocktail to start- the shrimp were jumbo and the crudo was fresh and flavorful.
I had the field greens salad which was perfectly dressed and the almonds and raisins complemented the greens and dressing.
One of our party mentioned they wanted a sidecar and we all thought that was a great idea so we each got a Hennessy XO sidecar. I was a bit skeptical since I’ve rarely had a well made sidecar. They’re usually too tart or off balance in some other way. These were delicious. Refreshing.
I ordered the scallops for my entree without bacon (I don’t eat meat) and I couldn’t have been happier. The scallops were cooked to perfection and went well with the creamy corn grits and sautéed greens. I scraped my plate.
For dessert we chose the bread pudding and snickers cake. I ate them both together and was more than happy. I have a huge sweet tooth and thought them to be an exceptional ending to the meal.
I have a te fancy to suck down water and the SA was constantly refilling my water before it was even half empty. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable.
Great experience everyone. Thank you.
The original chop salad with oil and vinegar was 🔥. I also added chicken to it. Server mixed the salad and it was a party in my taste buds. What an awesome experience.
My sister and I had to check out The Gladly for restaurant week and we were not disappointed. The Burrata was delicious and so was the gumbo. I believe the waitress said it was made with pureed scallops.
The filet was cooked to perfection...melted in my mouth. It's accompaniments added to the deliciousness.
The salmon, fried capers, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and buerre blanc were mouthwatering good.
Dessert was tastey. It was my first time trying bread pudding and I would have liked to have tasted a little more flavor and the temperature to be warmer. The brownie was different, but not bad.
Had a great experience with food, service, and ambience.
I went here for a meeting and training. The food was incredible! The original chopped salad was the best salad I’ve ever had. will be back with my husband for a date night.
I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. I can see being single and/or working in nearby and want to meet up with friends and be at a cool place then this would work. The bar was packed and had a upscale vibe. The interior of the restaurant on a Saturday night was very loud. We chose to sit outside. Servers were attentive and nice. My biggest issue was with the food. Be prepared for $22 dollars and up per glass of wine by the way. My husband ordered sausage and pretzel. What arrived was a small roll with four slices of a regular kielbasa and extremely large chunks of cheddar cheese. I got the burrata which I order any chance I can get and it was mediocre at best. Bland, and the pistachio pesto overwhelmed the palette. When we went I order dinner we were told by the server that they cannot cook their meat any rarer than medium and suggest medium well. What?! I like my burgers rare and I get it that’s not everyone’s taste but you have a $68 special of NY strip and you’re going to hammer that to medium? No pink? At that point I wanted to leave but we stayed and I ordered a salad. My husband got the burger and his side salad had more happening than my entree salad. It was literally lettuce and drunken cherries with 4 ridiculously small and of course overdone pieces of steak. The salad was screaming for acidity so I asked for some cherry tomatoes which I got three of in a ketchup cup. Wow. Truly unfortunate. We will not be returning here
Beautiful restaurant and very attentive staff. Our food which all 3 of us partakes of the restaurant menu of Chimichurri Chicken, roasted mushrooms and acorn squash vegetarian, and pan seared scallops. Personally, I had the very large portion of mushrooms and acorn squash.
Had a wonderful dinner with my wife here. Cocktails were great and the whiskey selection is extensive. Had oysters to start and throughly enjoyed them. My wife ordered the salmon and loved it. I had the scallops and found them to be delicious! The staff was attentive without be overly present and the ambience was wonderful. It was a fantastic first experience and we'll most certainly be back in the future.
First time here, stopped by after an appointment on a Tues 6pm. Wasn't busy, the atmosphere was chic and casual. The environment had a sophisticated barnyard tone. Our server Eddie recommended the Tiger Margarita and Chef Special pork chop so I tried. My husband ordered a MacAllan18 on a ice ball - Eddie uses a huge pure water square cube and melts it between this crazy contraption into a completely clear perfectly circular ice cube. Then of course takes the cube into a glass and pours your preferred Whiskey - pretty cool. We got crab cakes for starters and the fresh ingredients just pairs nicely on the palette. My husband decided on the filet which was amazing, but it was difficult to compare when the pork chop was tastefully marbled and that sauce... Omg just please give me a plate of that.. overall the service and quality was memorable, will definitely return.
Nice upscale dining in Scottsdale.. Chefs Special (not on the menu) was excellent Ribeye this day.. Nice patio dining area. I do recommend if your looking for nice restaurant in Scottsdale
This is our go-to place! We even had our wedding reception here. The Gladly has amazing service. You have to try the chopped salad and their old fashions.
What an amazing dinner! Daniel our server was outstanding! The food was phenomenal. We were on our way to the airport and decided to stop here for one last great dinner. We walked in with our luggage as we were ubering to the airport. From the moment we walked in the hostess asked to take our bags to the office for safekeeping and as I sat down I explained the situation to Daniel: “ OK man, this is the thing… we have an hour to get drinks, appetizer and main dishes… this is what you’ve trained for! are you up to the challenge??” He said: “we are losing precious time! Let’s get going!” Everything was awesome! I had the chimichurri chicken, this didn’t make it to the pictures because I tore into it immediately… (I’m still hearing it from gf…) in any case, she was more patient and was able to photograph her entre which was the seared scallops with creamy grits! My God! Still think the chicken was better and trust me I ordered this based on Daniel’s recommendation because as a norm I don’t order chicken while dinning out. At any rate this was amazing! Not to mention the drinks that were also outstanding! If you go and Daniel is your server, tell him we made it to the airport on time!
The happy hour is amazing. Definitely recommend ordering the brussel sprouts and thai margarita. The vibes are always fun and the service is always great!
We ordered a $75 special menu item T bone steak. It was overcooked so we sent it back. It took so long to get it back on the table, our dinner party was finished.
We did not ask for compensation, but the manager took the steak off our check. We appreciated this gesture. This was our 2nd trip to the Gladly and we had a similar experience the first time. Our check was nearly $500 and for this $$$ we expect top quality food, preparation and service.
Gladly not a repeater for us.
Date night for Hubby and me happened at The Gladly where we dined for the first time. Pan-seared scallops served with grits and greens was the entree we both chose, Hubby got a chopped salad (it had been prepared ahead so the greens were wilted) and I had a cocktail (Moscow mule) that had too much ice 😑. We booked a last minute reservation and had to go really early... not sure we had the best possible experience. Our server was very good, We loved our entrees. Our table was close to the bar, which was packed; that really slowed the drink service. (My entree arrived before my cocktail). We will definitely go back and try to get a better reservation. For the $$$ I definitely want the five star experience!
Excellent service and food. We got the Brussel Sprouts, Oysters, Salmon, and Scallops and loved every dish. Tables were nicely spread out too with plenty of space.
This is one of my favorite happy hour spots. The painkiller is a tasty drink and the brussel sprouts are amazing!
I had an order for pick up and it was ready in less than 15 mins. I ordered the chopped salad and bread. So many people recommended the chopped salad so I had to try it. It is deserving of the fanfare.
*Had dinner at the bar on Saturday night. My friend and I had so much fun. Spoke with a regular and received recommendations from her and also from staff.
Looking foward to trying more dishes.
Scallops and salad were so delicious. Unique flavors that were all amazing. The mocktail killer-something (I can't remeber the name), is such a fun and interesting drink. I absolutely recommend you try it.
My fiancé and I love coming here. We came here after we first got engaged. Today was just a special little putting for us to bring in the New Year.
Veronica our server is the best! Love her!
Food was amazing!
Plus even though we lost they had the Michigan game on!
Thanks for all the hard work each of you do! Always an amazing experience.
Noble bread and crab cake appetizers were very flavorful! Main courses were roasted vegetable salad and filet mignon. Both outstanding! Our server Daniel was superb. This could have not been a better meal. We were so full we took dessert to go (chocolate chip cookies and chocolate pot de creme).
All the service staff is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to go for food and drinks. I rarely drink whiskey but the staff got me to try some various whiskeys that were great.
I take clients here that I that I want to impress and treat and they always enjoy.
CLEAN PLATE ALERT. Food here is amazing my wife and I ordered The Original Chopped Salad as a starter and Oh my... it's so good. Serving is hefty and good for sharing. Never thought dried sweet corn would taste that good. As main, we Coffee Rubbed Short Ribs and Faroe Island Salmon. Short ribs is a little dry on the outside but when you're in it's moist and tender, coffee taste is muted, the grilled brocolli works well with the ribs. The salmon is wonderful. crusted skin and cooked to perfection. I like the mashed potatoes. Its not your normal mashed potatoes that are too creamy. I like mine with texture and some unmashed potatoes. Ambiance is great for a conversations and deco was well thought out. We came in dinner time and we would prefer a little more light. It was hard for me to read the menu. I encourage the reader to do a reservation but not necessary. Our server Audrey is top notch. Attention to detail and listening skill are on point. She didn't ask for our order again to the point that she not sure. But she mentioned to verify our order. Water refill is spot on, we need to get hydrated and our glass is always top off. Appreciate everyone in this restaurant for making another date night with wifey for the books. Will definitely go back with the kiddos.
This is normally the type of restaurant that automatically gets a five in my book - awesome service, great drink menu, and beautifully-presented, delicious food. However, the food ended up being hit-or-miss. The highlights were melt-in-your-mouth scallops (albeit a small serving size) and a dark chocolate martini our excellent waitress recommended. However, the charred broccoli was bland and the raw tuna appetizer had tasteless tuna that no amount of seasoning could enhance. The Zombie, my first drink was a bit heavy on the ice, too. If you're going to charge $70 for a steak, you're going to have to hit on all cylinders to earn all five stars.
Best salad in AZ. Love so many good items off their menu. It's one of my favorite places for lunch in Phoenix.
This place is such a delight, great food, great service. Great drinks, my wife and I had the Manhattan with tobacco smoke.. OMG. Amazing. The crab cakes as an appetizer will cause us to have cravings for them from now on. I had the scallops and my wife had the salmon, everything was so hot we could barely eat it and was prepared perfectly. Tim, our server, had an excellent suggestion for a cab that was spot on. We finished with the chocolate pudding.. as always the Gladly knocked it out if the park! I want to say it's the best kept secret in the Biltmore/Arcadia area but the place was packed even with social distancing. What an amazing place, we love our Gladly.
My first visit here and certainly not my last!
We were thankful for the ample parking and validation of our parking ticket.
We walked in and immediately could see the really cool vibe of the place. There’s a really cool patio with soft lighting and heaters.
We ordered the Noble Bread Plate which was wonderful comfort food for us. I had The Original Chopped Salad which came with smoked salmon but since I’m not a fan of smoked food, they were kind to simply grill it at my request. I ate every bite!
The service was excellent and adhered to masks to keep us all safe.
Excellent experience!
Probably the best business lunch I have had all year! I have seen their Chop Salad on The Food Network so I recognized it right away. But, I did not know they mixed it at your table and I got a choice of protein. Wow! Even better! Then to have perfect scallops in a trendy, bright and bustling atmosphere made it amazing. However the hidden surprise was that lemon tart! It almost made me cry and moan it was so good!!! OMG Thanks Katelyn from Tobias, I owe you one.
Being the last ones on the patio with a large group our server was handling inside meant we got a little forgotten at the end there, but otherwise a perfect meal. That duck meatloaf was out of this world. All the flavors combined for a perfectly balanced dish. That roasted chicken was so moist and flavorful. Paired nicely with the risotto and tomatoes. That buttermooink burger though, that's where it was at. If you're into burgers, this one will leave you thinking about it for days after. Very worth a stop. Kind of an odd location, but come hungry.
Love this place! I’m a clean healthy gourmand and I love their dishes. The chopped salad is my favorite. I hope they expand their salad selections. I love their crusted salmon too!
The Gladly is one of my favorite restaurants in the valley!!! It has the best [famous] chopped salad you will ever eat. Citizen Public House in Scottsdale also has the same salad. The quality of food, drinks, service, and atmosphere here are all fantastic. However it is quite expensive so I consider it a special occasion kind of place for myself.
I am SO glad we chose this restaurant!!! I discovered The Gladly via a recommendation from a food blogger that had visited the restaurant during her trip to Phoenix. The food is phenomenal. It is easily one of the top 3 meals I've ever eaten. The chef is an expert at combining unique flavor profiles to create amazing dishes. If you are ever in the Phoenix area I highly suggest making a stop here! This is what we ordered and everything was sooo good:
{Chilean Crab Cakes} roasted corn salad | avocado sauce | chile oil
{Roasted Brussels Sprouts} sweet corn grits | shaved Pecorino Romano | truffle oil
{Pan Seared Scallops} sweet corn grits | Tender Belly bacon lardon | sautéed snow pea greens | cola gastrique
{Press Coffee Short Rib} coffee rubbed boneless short ribs | parsnip purée | cherry bbq sauce | sautéed greens
So Glad To Have The Gladly
I went to The Gladly 4 years ago for Mother's Day and it was incredible, so much so that I decided I wanted to enjoy that amazing chopped salad for my birthday this year.
I called because I wasn't sure if they were doing curbside pickup and Danielle happily informed me they'd be happy to fulfill my birthday wish! Danielle went over some menu items and I decided on the short ribs and chopped salad, which were prepared to perfection and left me in a food coma!
When I picked up my order I was wished a happy birthday by the gentleman who brought it out, which was a really pleasant surprise. Once home, I found inside the bag a birthday card signed by all the staff members and cookies!!! Let me tell you, this is how you go above and beyond! I got a little misty eyed, I couldn't believe the kindness of these strangers, and the cookies were delicious, too. I had to call back and tell Danielle how their kindness really made my birthday special! I hope the management reads this review and sees what great people they have working for them!
I've already mentioned the food, but it bears mentioning again that the short ribs were tender, delectable, and had a crust just begging for that amazing cherry reduction barbecue sauce! The parsnip puree was creamy and flavorful and the broccoli still had a little snap to it.
Oh! And don't get me started on the chopped salad because I could find a thesaurus and lay down adjectives for days! This salad is unequivocally perfect. The "OG chopped salad" is my all time, hands down, ultimate favorite fancy food! The ingredients all dance on your tongue in perfect harmony, each bite a flavor combination all its own, and you never feel uncomfortably full even after eating the ENTIRE salad! The dressing really adds to the flavor, which if you read the list of ingredients seems rather impossible, but try it and you'll see it's true. I could keep going, but just go try it and find your own adjectives! 😍💚
DELICIOUS. Order the signature salad. It's eveything you need in life. There is a reason the salad had it's own FB page. Crunchy, soft, sweet, flavorful, and so many textures including smoked salmon and couscous. I had no idea that a salad could be that gooood. The rest of the food was great too (had a 3 course tasting including the seafood chowder, duck meatloaf, scallop & sweet corn grits, mango cheesecake, and the strawberry sorbet) good but honestly... after that salad nothing else really held a candle. It was that good.
The Ribeye, Scallops and Filet are to die for. Also they make an old fashioned that will melt your face it's so good.
Very good food and service.
Wait for the daily off-menu items before you decide. Usually I order one of the special items and I've always been happy I did.
The food was ok. The waitress was delayed in getting to our table but the GM more than made up for it! The salmon was delicious. We got the ice ball and learned the history behind it!
We’ve visited many times before, but recently celebrated our anniversary with The Gladly. The entire staff made our experience exceptional. Shawn, was absolutely fantastic and very attentive throughout the evening.
A couple other staff also came over to present creating a pressed ice ball / sphere for one of our drinks.
Our food and drinks were great as well. Thank you again.
Yum. Simple yet tasty menu. Great cocktails. Big whisky selection. Good date spot or happy hour.
expensive unless you go for happy hour, there are a few good deals. Think we got oysters for 2 bucks, small but sweet and flacoeful...I believe they rotate them. Buck and rider down the road is a better deal though. We had an awesome tuna in brown butter dish, also pricy but so good and awesome scallop dish. Nice, cool atmosphere, and wait staff and bus staff were polite and friendly. Not many choices for good beer but huge whiskey list
I can only report on the crab cakes and the signature salad, both of which were top notch. The salad leaves you feeling full but not overwhelmed. The service was amazing and the ambience helped to make our dinner that much better. I will be back for sure.
Happy hour here is vibrant and fun, after-work crowd unwinding. Friendly, accommodating staff, good food and drink.
The chopped salad. That's it. The end. I moved away from Phoenix two years ago. I recently visited, stopped by for this chopped salad, and it was everything I remembered and more. I also recommend visiting during restaurant week. I still remember how great the Scallops tasted.
New year's dinner at The Gladly went surprisingly smooth, despite being very busy.
There was a set list of options for a three course dinner. I ordered the wedge salad, the ribeye, and a Manhattan. The dessert was a red velvet cake.
Everything was delicious, priced fairly, and with prompt service. I can't complain and will return.
Perfect, Not a lot of menu items, which I wish more restaurants would do, but the ones they have are delicious. Great date night for my wife and I. Great wine and alcohol list.
A friend of mine owns the gladly. It's has a wonderful atmosphere, the drinks are complex and off the charts in flavor. The food is excellent and the service is very very good
OMG!! This restaurant is awesome. Short ribs with black cherry bbq sauce 👍👍👍 Scallops with grits👍👍👍 Raw oysters fresh from the ocean 👍👍👍 And their signature original chopped salad 👍👍👍
Plus the exceptional service and beautiful ambience.
Great restaurant. Good place for a date or just a casual dinner with friends. But I miss the hillbilly egg rolls!!!
Cocktails were limited and not very special. I got the Thai margarita and it was just like any other margarita I've ever had. We go the short rib and Ribeye special respectively. They were both delicious and would 100% recommend either option if you're interested in a more carnivore diet. If you're a fan of burrata don't bother here. They have a "deconstructed" burrata that doesn't really live up to the regular thing. Chef definitely over-thought this one.
My husband and I stopped in to the Gladly for happy hour last month. It was our first time visiting, and we were so impressed by the service and ambiance that we decided to reserve their private event space (the Whiskey Room) for our wedding dinner celebration last weekend! Let me just say, the Gladly far exceeded our expecations! Our event coordinators, Katie and CJ, were so helpful and communicative. Our bartender, Lucas (I hope I got his name right), was friendly and informative on wines and drinks that they offered. The space was cute, clean, and had a huge projector screen for us to use for a slideshow. Our guests had the option of 4 different dinner choices and all of them were delicious! Several of our guests are already planning their next visit because they enjoyed the food and drinks so much. We will be forever customers at the Gladly and would highly recommend them for happy hour, a date night, and especially private events! :)
We were there for a friend's event and the staff/service was absolutely impeccable! The atmosphere was electric, the restaurant is giving a nice "grown folks" vibe! Excellent first date location or a nice night out with your significant other!
Love the scallops, get them every time! Wonderful drinks and super nice bartenders too!
Perhaps one of the best restaurant experiences my wife and I have had in over 20 years of marriage. The service was fantastic and the food was out of this world. I can't believe we had such a great meal for such a reasonable price.
Outstanding food and drinks, the service was equally as excellent too!
Excellent service from Fabian. Sushi was great and so was the Commander burgers Atmosphere is awesome. Perfect restaurant for a date night. Lighting was perfect for a nice night out on the city.
Stopped into Glady's at 4 to try the brussel sprouts and grits ( heard do much about them) My grandmother used to make me cabbage and grits when she was alive. I must say they are to ...... for! Very tasty! The grits are creamy good 👍 I also had the commander burger that was tasty, I could only eat half. And the bartender, Delaney was great, very attentive and professional!
We were traveling for work and found this gem of a place. Amazing selection of whiskeys and food was on point. This was the 16oz steak that me and a mate shared. Great flavor and cooked to perfection. Thanks for having us.
This place is definitely a save on my restaurant list. I had the filet and my husband had the salmon. Whiskey bread pudding is delicious!
Visited with another couple during Happy Hour to celebrate a birthday. Service was quick and server was friendly. The Commander Burger was good, worth the $12 for the burger. They don't ask how you like it though so if you don't like medium make sure to tell them.
Great place service is good and the drinks on point 👍
Visited for an event and stayed for dinner. The restaurant week menu is amazing! Service was perfection and so was the food.
Met up with a college friend while they were in town here. It was close to his hotel an other Local Guides had recommended the place. I didn't eat, just had a cocktail, but he had the scallops which looked delicious. Based on that his plate was completely cleared he also enjoyed his food.
I tried the Gladly Manhattan. It was a well crafted drink, slightly on the sweet side. If I hadn't been driving I would have ordered another!
The food was excellent and the cocktails were great. Our service was definitely the best part of the experience. I took my dad there while he was visiting town. I'd go back any time. I had the Japanese whiskey with compressed club soda and artisanal ice.
Good atmosphere very upscale. Sitting by the door to the outside can be very chilly for some... Duck meatloaf was a new thing to me, unique taste and interesting...
Menu had many great options. Brussel sprouts starter was buttery greatness. This chop salad was delish and unique. The steak salad looked incredible too.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Should definitely try if you're in the Phoenix area.
Always the best. Tim is the best waiter (Zachary is a close second)! Their food's always amazing, literally mouth watering. It's the only restaurant I've ever ordered a 🐔 dish at...and actually crave it! …
This place is fantastic!!! The Chopped Salad was AWESOME!!! Fish Tacos excellent!!! My son recently took me to lunch on my birthday (where we split both items mentioned) I had the Old Fashion with smoked bitters and brandied cherry (on lunch happy hour I believe) BUT the sweetest part was that there was a sign on the table when we arrived, that read, Happy Birthday Susan from the Glady! (Plus my son's gift was waiting for me!! Such a great birthday lunch! I will definitely go back to treat my friends with the same exact bday experience!!!
The service and staff was excellent. I was escorted to my seat after sharing with the host I was there to meet a friend. The food was well done and the drinks were delightful. Better gin selection of local Arizona gins should be available.
Great trendy modern spot for lunch. Had lots of lunch options & cocktail selection. Parking is a challenge; there is a shared parking area off of Camelback.
The drinks were awesome and the flavors complemented each other well. The food was delicious. The dinner portions were huge, so come hungry!
Was here for arizona restaurant week had the most fabulous 3 Course meal, beautiful cozy environment, with handcrafted drinks. Go local Eat local!
Had lunch. The crab cakes were delicious and so was the Rose from Argentina.
Noise level was louder than expected but food, service was exceptional. Will be back.
Greeted and welcomed warmly. Great service. Amazing brussel sprouts & polenta appetizer. Chopped salad will be remembered forever. Sweet nod for my birthday with a Happy Birthday placard on the table. Bread pudding a perfect end to our meal.
Good food and atmosphere, but let's be honest: the reason to come here is really for the massive selection of whiskey, scotch and bourbon. Also, the ice, pressed into a perfect ball right at your table before they pour your drink over it. This is scotch done right. You do pay for the privilege (expect to spend anywhere from $15 up on your drink--more if you get some of the more top-shelf selections). They do charge $3 for their beautiful ice.
There's a limited selection of free 2 hour limit parking just outside the restaurant. The restaurant does also have an outdoor dining area, bar seating, and a room available for private parties.
Good enough food but not memorable. One of our items was downright bad. Uninventive menu and high prices.
Good atmosphere. Good service. Nice drinks. The short ribs were a little fatty for $38. The pretzel came with hard cheese, not a dipping cheese.
The food and drink experience is always high quality. The bartenders will tell you all you want to know about your drinks, and are willing to make something special for you too. There is usually space for walk ins at the bar. Food is fantastic and well worth the trip
Great spot for food and drinks. The Chopped Salad is a must. Dog friendly patio.
Very nice little find, thanks to google reviews. We were looking for a nice place for dinner and we found it with The Gladly in Phoenix. We ordered the salad with beef tenderloin (very good) and the short ribs (good, not great). Although it took a while to order and receive our drinks, our meal can out very fast... like 10-15 minutes fast, which we were shocked! We had to send back one of our drinks, but the server gladly accomodated us.
Small note: Parking spaces in their parking lot were very narrow and tight, so be careful! If we return to the area, we will definitely be back!
Great happy hour spot - the Manhattans are fantastic and the super yummy nuts are just as tasty as advertised.
Great service delicious food
Went here for a friend's birthday party. The food and service are great. We went a happy hour and had plenty of room and excellent service and price at happy hour is a little less. Only drawback to this restaurant is it is very expensive in my opinion.
First time trying out "The Gladly Restaurant ". Searched for a 4+ rated restaurant in the Midtown area & found this gem. Laughed when we entered as we actually had been to this location before when it was originally a Ruths Chris Steakhouse. Not sure why Ruths left, but we were very pleased with its replacement as we celebrated our daughter's 23rd birthday here at The Gladly Restaurant. Waitress was attentive without being overbearing. We all selected filet mignon - outstanding flavor nicely paired with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I understand whiskey is their specialty here, but as not in a "whiskey mood" we drank beer & cocktails and found those selections to be both ample & creative as well. Another day - another time for the whiskey 🥃. We ended our "celebration dinner" with a pretzel crust cheesecake - interesting combination that worked well together - who woulda thought⁉️... and clicked together our glasses of desert wine - a couple of ice wines 🥂 & a nicely aged port 🍷 to end a perfect evening together with our daughter.
I attended a private event for lunch. The food was delicious and the server did an excellent job.
Chiliquiles yummy, but the show stopper are the grits. Enough for someone from the south to miss home. Eggs Benedict are amazing.
Awesome restaurant gr8 service and food. Here from out of town for an EO event. Well done.
I really loved this place. It wasn’t that busy when we got there but the staff were extremely friendly.
Quality ingredients are excellently prepared. Cocktails are top-notch also.
Amazing selection of whiskeys. Fantastic food. Highly recommend.
Their chop salad is really good! We go there often for work. It’s a good place for that. Their service is great.
Was my go to spot when we lived down the street, now a joyous occasion when we return. Perfect for dates, dinners or casual dining. Went for restaurant week but full menu was still available. My go-to combination is the chopped salad (duh, it's famous) and the Bernie's Mac & Cheese. I can't get enough of those 2 and always leave with leftovers.
Drink list is first class, specializing in whiskeys. Staff is always friendly - special about out to DK who is the best!
Head in for happy hour if you can. Great deals on some of their normal apps and drinks. Fabulous patio as well. One of my ultimate AZ faves. Can't wait to go back!
Bartenders are amazing tied for best blue cheese stuffed olive martini with shulas steak house fresh raw bar amazing food
This place fantastic. Got the steak special, which involved a big ol ribeye with a coffee rub and some sort of reduction sauce (can't remember what it was but it was delicious lol) and it was a tad expensive but well worth it. They have, like, ALL the whiskey. The service has been excellent both times I've been, and it's a really nice atmosphere. Really can't go wrong here, highly recommend!
Went to a Whiskey Dinner here which was intimate, informative, and delicious! The best duck I've ever had! Fantastic choice of whiskeys.
Not my first time eating here. I order the scallops and steak. Which was really good as always. Pricing has gone up a bit but still pretty reasonable. Tried the painkiller drink and you would think it will kill your pain but it will give you a major hangover.
Lucas took care of us at the bar and blew us away with knowledge and recommendations. We come for business regularly and stay nearby and we will not miss it again. Wow!
One of the restaurants we like to visit over and over. It is upscale, with great food/drinks, but the prices are not out of control.
The original chopped salad is the "must have" item!
Delicious! Non-traditional and flavorful. Fast service. Can't wait to go back.
The food is sooooo yummy and the service is superb. Great atmosphere, vibes, and location.
Perfection! Cocktails were balanced and full of flavor. My filet was brilliantly cooked.
Phenomenal. Bartender Hawk truly gave us a beautiful display while preparing our old fashioned 's. Went for NYE multi course and was pleasantly surprised
Planned a large 9 person team event and we had a great time. Our server Shea was just awesome, he gave us some of the best whiskey recommendations and some of the best food recommendations as well! The Pork Chop special was out of this world honestly, super tasty! Everything about our visit was great, we might make The Gladly our usual go-to restaurant for the team! :)
My experience was awesome. .
The food was absolutely spectacular, The service was perfect.
Waitress was kind and attentive. My wife thought her Mojito was the best she ever had. Most importantly, the food was spectacular. We will definitely be returning.
This is not an inexpensive restaurant but it is well worth every penny.
We went here for the first time my birthday!
Guilano was our waiter! Great personality and attentive without hovering! He explained all the options for cocktails and the dinner menu. We had the black cod and filet! Both were excellent choices! For dessert we had the Snickers Ice Cream cake and the Whiskey Bread Pudding! Again, both excellent choices. We will come here again!
Came for happy hour and it was a beautiful time to sit outside. Had the sausage and cheese appetizer. It was definitely a large portion. I would have preferred a little less cheese and another pretzel. The mule I had was delicious and service was great.
The scallops over grits is one of the BEST things I have EVER eaten (and I am a foodie....I am picky about what I call good). I wanted to savor it, but wound up cleaning my plate before most of my party had gotten half way through their meals. We all had excellent food and cleaned our plates. I also took a Pot de creme home and it was INCREDIBLE. Service was amazing, as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, for any occasion. We were there for a lunch meeting, but I have been there for personal lunches as well and service/food was always good before this visit.
Great cocktail and food! We had a fun night here
Excellent vibe, ambiance, service and amazing food! Try the Burger and scallop dish. Delectable!!
One of my favorite restaurants in Phoenix. Classy atmosphere, extensive whiskey menu, delicious food, great staff. Obviously the old fashioneds are on point, classic and the signature. My favorite menu item is the Farro salmon, but you really can't go wrong with anything. The burger, the chopped salad, the poke bowl, the fries - all delicious. Oh and the bread pudding is to die.
Crispy Rock shrimp - Amazing.
Gladly Manhattan on Tap - EPIC.
Can’t go wrong here with food, drink, or service!
The Gladly is really enjoyable. My friend and I always come here when I am in Phoenix. It's elegant but understated, and very nice but moderately priced. The cocktails are innovative, and the food is unique and delicious. 5 stars.
Amazing cocktails; great appetizers for happy hour! Every time I am in Phoenix, I'll be stopping in to dine!
Excellent service. Food was exceptional, appetizers, entrée, sides and dessert were all enjoyed. Will definitely be coming back to share this place with more friends. My first time there, but will not be my last.
Def an after work destination for middle aged dudes in middle management. Good happy hour, the price makes up for the limited options. Keith was a terrific server and probably classier and smarter than most of the middle management men who were seated.
Amazing! Love the vibe of finance bros and hipsters. Amazing cocktails!
Great food and atmosphere. It's a smaller space so it did get a little loud as it got busier and there were several guests using the light of their cell phones to read the menu so you may want to reconsider the lighting. The food was great but definitely portioned for one person so if you're thinking of saving a bit of money by sharing an entree I'd pick up a burger beforehand. Even the appetizers aren't really designed for more than a couple of people to share. The service was also great but make sure you have a lot to talk about because this is a restaurant that seems to want you to savor your dining experience, if you're thinking you'll be in and out in an hour that probably won't be the case. This is definitely an updated dining experience and I would highly recommend.
Are you looking for somewhere to host folks from out of town? Look no further! The Gladly does a phenomenal job with their customer service, friendly approach, and personalized experience. The food is incredible and they have items on the menu for all diets.
The renowned, Chopped Salad, is AMAZING! You have to get it at least once. They do an incredible job of appealing to all senses.
If you've never experienced The Gladly, you're missing out!
Visited for restaurant week. Happy that they had some local beers besides the huge collection of drinks. Would've liked a little more variety in beer, but if you are a whiskey or cocktail drinker you will be pleased. Nice choice of appetizer and meal for restaurant week menu. The wedge salad was filling and loved the bacon. I had the scallops and enjoyed them. They last one of four was a little undercooked. I really wish I would've tried the duck meatloaf as that looked good as well. The mango cheesecake was interesting and I loved the coconut flavor
Last night, I took my family to this restaurant, and we've got to be honest that we had a lot of fun. The food and beverages were delicious and okay. Besides, it was helpful, insightful, and sweet to the waitress that entertained our order. We take a photo while waiting because of the nice design in the restaurant. Honestly, we loved this place greatly. It was fulfilling. Oh, thank you!
I ordered through Uber Eats, and the Gladly forgot to include the main I'd ordered with the delivery (oops). I called, they were super apologetic and self-delivered the main + apology cookies about 30 minutes later. Who does anything like that anymore?! It's usually path of least resistance, like issuing a refund. Well, now I'm a customer for life. Their food is always on point, which also doesn't hurt!
Great atmosphere, very friendly employees. Our bartender, Michael, was amazing. The bar was busy, yet he made us feel like we were the only ones there. Waters kept full, drinks kept full. Made great drinks and was really attentive. Had the cheese fondue and some fries. Both were delicious and portions were really good for the price. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back for sure!
My husband has Celiacs disease and we had a safe gluten free dinner here earlier this month. We sat out on the patio and our waitress was excellent — friendly, well informed of allergy safety/protocol (I think she said her sister has Celiacs) and attentive. Delicious food and a experience! Highly recommend the Mac and cheese appetizer!
Managment — thank you for keeping us all safe by requiring staff to wear masks amid the Delta surge!!
The food and atmosphere was truly amazing. The tomatoes on my chicken were to die for!
Decision comfort food with a few fun surprises! But the thing that makes me go back time and time again is the sense of community. The bar staff excels at remembering faces and the drinks that go with them. You can always find a fascinating conversations and education on whiskey and other cocktails. Don't miss HH!
This place was great! So was their appetizer/snacks. If you want to try every and any type of drink/cocktail/wine, or beer; they've got it. The bartenders/mixologist know how to do any type of drink that suits your fancy. We've been several times and would like to go back there. I believe their hours are only 10:00/10:30. It's well worth your trip. They're quite expensive, but at least try one time and you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is nice -- we dressed up a bit when we went last. Music is nice too!
The food was amazing and the service was great. A couple things to keep in mind, their whiskey bread pudding is not bread pudding it's smothered French toast. I was good, but not what my wife wanted. Also their "Bag of cookies" are not fresh or warm, they resemble a bag of store bought cookies.
This place was great for both food and drinks. Their Brussels sprouts were one of my favorite items, perfectly crispy and garlicky and not oily like other places. The chopped salad is also delicious, like definitely have to have if you have never been here. The service was great, and they had the best whiskey selection out of any place in Phoenix that I have been to.
Amazing food and drinks! Went here for Valentines, make sure if you do this to reserve in advance b/c they fill up fast and there is an amazingly planned 3 course meal. We loved it so much we went back again! I had a blackberry drink that came with rock candy garnish, such a cool place!
Stumbled upon this gem on a work trip as a coworker mentioned to try the chopped salad. Is was indeed delicious. I sat at the bar as the lobby was busy. The service I received that night was hands down the best experience I’ve had in the service industry. After 10 years in the industry myself, it is refreshing to see such passion and eagerness to not only please but educate. I ordered my first appetizer and mixologist insisted I order the “coffee and cigarettes” to pair with the dish. Name threw me off at first, but my my..
Be gladly I told you
Great restaurant in a nice Central Phoenix location. Excellent appetizer and main course options. Our favorites include crab cake appetizer, chopped salad, scallops, and the coffee rubbed short ribs. Super service that is couple with delicious food. Recommended restaurant!
I hosted a small, private event in The Whiskey Room. The room was perfect and service was attentive and friendly. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive and literally had an eagerness to help anyone who looked like their glass was getting low :). The preset menu provided 3 options and all were small, flavorful and scrumptious. Management was helpful during booking and present day of to make sure everything was taken care of. After the event I ordered a to-go box for the short ribs and a burger, both were absolutely delightful and met expectations.
Great food and an impressive collection of whiskeys
You NEED to order Burrata, Brussel sprouts & cherry glaze short ribs. Great oysters too! Love The Gladly. Went on my 1st date years ago with my husband. Go every 3 to 6 months. Never disappointed. Great servers. Craft cocktails. Bread pudding😋
This restaurant is ok, pretty cool atmosphere and had a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the drink menu didn't hold the same quality as the atmosphere. Watered down and a little boring, plus the staff wanted to push premixed "draft" cocktails. For a bar that has such a large selection of whiskey and spirits, I would have expected more craft from the bartenders. The best interaction we had at the bar was with one of the chefs, who was exceptionally pleasant. Which leads me to believe that their kitchen staff must be where the magic is at with this place, because the appetizer we got was very good. (Pretzel, sausage, and cheese)
We absolutely love the Gladly! We come here all the time and have a wonderful experience every time. The bartenders, the servers, back servers, hosts and of course the food is all wonderful. Thank you so much for always providing a consistent amazing experience!
It was cool. Friendly people. Parking in the back felt odd but it was the right place.
Food was good. Drinks were good. Would consider it again.
This is an awesome place. First of all we enjoyed the music which was eclectic. The service was Top Notch, the drinks were stiff, and the Raw seafood bar was outstanding. We also enjoyed several appetizers and I would consider eating dinner there. There are several meals and drinks available for half price during happy hour which starts early.
Great lunch experience with excellent service. Chopped salad is very good. I'll be back soon!
Great meal! Did takeout - ordered chimichurri chicken, tots, and sausage/cheese/pretzel. The chicken & sauce was tasty with the right amount of spice - tots were crunchy - pretzel/sausage/cheese were solid too!
Amazing food and drinks, you have to try the ribs.
Loved it! Chopped salad was delish, a house favorite...filet was divine! A must in Phoenix 👌 …
We have been dining here since they opened a few years ago. They are consistent in their quality of service and cuisine. We received excellent service at the bar this evening. I highly recommend their signature chopped salad to start! Tried the duck meatloaf for the first time - it was FANTASTIC!
Didn’t quite feel the buzz. The menu is limited and not cheep. We felt our meals were good but not great buy any means. The restaurant is quite noisy. Our server was nice and attentive. As for a place to drink two thumbs up. Excellent offering of whiskey from around the world.
One of my favorite places in the valley. I love the food! I would absolutely recommend the filet but the specials are always impressive. It's quiet and clean, and the service is wonderful. There is a full bar and the specialty cocktails are very good. It's a nice place to stop for a quiet evening for two or a larger event. This is a great go-to for date night or any night.
Had a really lovely evening here. Reservations were seamless (recommend during these times of reduced capacity), service was attentive and accommodating, chill sophisticated vibe. Food was fine but WOWed by the Manhattan and the German chocolate cake in the coffee cream sauce. I will def be back for drinks and desserts!
This place is ALWAYS the best. Best service, best cocktails and best food. Love the Manhattan!! We had Brussels sprouts with grits, the famous Chop salad, steak medallions, scallops and 2 desserts!! Their covid polices were perfect.
Good food and excellent whiskey/bourbon selection. The waiter seemed to know his stuff when it came to our whiskey selection.
The food was great! The atmosphere was phenomenal. Everything was perfect except the server... he just took our order with a snobby attitude. The "bus boy" took care of us with the most professional performance I have ever received. He treated my wife and I wonderfully.
The drinks are awesome and food is great. I had the chopped salad for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. The service was wonderful as well.
Food and service impeccable, but my reason for 4 star vs 5 is the price. For the portions felt it was very pricey. The chopped salad was much smaller than before and over $20 for upgrade to grilled salmon vs smoked. $25 for the lunch special and our other party ordered the beef burger. Lunch for 3, with no alcohol or beverages was over $80 with tip.
One of my favorite valley restaurants with a great atmosphere, delicious cocktails, a good wine selection, and tasty food. Get the chopped salad!
The first time we went we got an awesome waiter name Mick who set the bar very high for any person we might get coming back. Food was good but not that different from Citizen's Public House (they are owned by the same people if I understand correctly). Second time we went out waitress seemed either overwhelmed or just not that interested in being personable. But the drinks are very good as is the food they have.
I always love this place due to their relaxing atmosphere and very delicious foods. I always love their salad that contains very fresh ingredients and so is their crab cakes. Woooo... Such mouthwatering food that will surely fit my taste buds. The place is nice and so are their staff and manager, they always make sure that all their customers are happy. They are always into the happiness of their customers.
Absolutely fantastic place! The food and drinks were perfect. I highly recommend the Kobe burger rare. It was flawless. Had some oysters, ahi tuna, the famous chopped salad as well. You can't go wrong with any of them. We told the bar tender the liquor we preferred and he came up with some amazing drinks!
Three of us had lunch. The service was great. However the food was so so. I had the special soup and sandwich (potato and beet soup with a cheese, prosciutto and onion panini) which was bland. My 2 friends had the famous chopped salad. One really enjoyed it, the other didn't finish and was not that excited about the salad. The serving sizes were adequate for lunch. The cost is rather high for lunch.
Every time I've ordered food from this restaurant, whether take out or eat in, the food has been fantastic, and the staff is so friendly and helpful.
My favorites are the burrata with an additional order of noble bread, because the four slices that come with the burrata is never quite enough for me. Also I love the chopped salad, the short ribs are great, the scallops which are never gritty, and the brussels on the fluffy grits are delectable.
The Gladly never disappoints. The chopped salad is my favorite. We took my son for his 27th birthday. It was his first time and he really enjoyed it. He had a Moscow mule and Fish Tacos and loved it. The service, food and atmosphere are worth every penny.
Tried a bourbon drink for the first time and it was excellent! The salmon was cooked perfectly, had to order the crab cake appetizers twice because it was so good and the creamy grits with the scallops was an amazing combination. Service was excellent!
Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive and the staff made sure our water was never empty. Food had good flavors and portion size are average. Very lively with moderate noise levels but dinning room was quite dark with little lighting.
Had appetizers and drinks. The appetizers were pretty great. The fondue wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. The Chile green olives were amazing. Wide variety of whiskeys. Probably over 100. I'm a beer drinker, personally and they did have two of the local beers I like. The Mac and cheese wasn't very flavorful and they put some weird salsa on too that was gross and did not taste well with it. The chopped salad was delicious. The sausage cheese and pretzel was delicious. The noble bread was delicious. I'd go back mainly for those olives.
One of favorites, since it opened. Broad range of Apps are so good. Dinner selections range from seafood to steaks, and much more. Selections were well prepared for our party of 6. Our 6th visit since opening and never disappointed. Awesome range of selections from the bar.
Some of the best dishes I have ever had. The chimichurri chicken and coffee rubbed short rib are incredible.
1st visit, selected because of restaurant week. Really enjoyed the food, excellent cocktails, service was great. Fun night out
The house chopped salad with smoked salmon is probably one of the best salads I've ever had! Service was fantastic. And the noble bread plate is to die for. I'll definitely be back!
Went for restaurant week. The atmosphere and service is top quality. Very nice American restaurant in the heart of midtown.
Service was excellent. Drinks perfect. We had the shrimp and grits, perfectly presentrd. Our entries were scallops, sea bass and short ribs. Excellent presentation with wonderful sauces. My only complaint , the short ribs tasted like pot roast.
The Gladly has a great menu, very nice wine list and perhaps the best whisky list in Phoenix! Great raw bar with brown butter tuna & a nice selection of raw oysters. Don't miss the Original Chopped Salad, it's DELICIOUS. For a main they have a number of nice options with seared scallops, filet mignon, press coffee short rib and a yummy tuna poke, but my absolute favorite is the duck meatloaf! It's delicious!
Five stars…best chopped salad! Drinks and wine were excellent and the servers knew the menu and were exceptionally trained. I highly recommend The Gladly!
This place was wonderful. The filet mignon was amazing. The atmosphere was sweet and our group had the best time. Fantastic service. The goats cheese with fig appetizers was my favorite. We prearranged the menu and our large group dinner.
super cute and intimate place, perfect for birthday dinners or date night. food was absolutely incredible!! drinks were amazing! and the service was even better 100/10 would recommend. chef’s kiss 😘 …
Good service, great staff, great whisky. Went there for famous fried chicken Sunday. Corn bread was excellent. Fried chicken was pretty good, but I wouldn't fight my gramma over it. -1 star for that. If you're famous for fried chicken, and it's 20 bucks or whatever, it better be slap-my-momma-in-the-face good.
It was our first time here and we celebrated my mom's birthday. We had the Brussel sprout appetizer and it was simply incredible! My mom had the chopped salad and I had the sea bass. We couldn't rave about our dishes enough. The balance of flavor and texture was perfect! We were even surprised with a free birthday dessert. Great food and service means we will be back! Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
Top notch service at the bar. Jay was our primary bartender and was incredibly knowledgeable down to each individual ingredient in the Raw Bar's oyster dipping sauces. From the moment we sat down at the bar to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a hip/trendy and upscale bar to meet friends, coworkers, clients, or to entertain out of town guests after getting them from the airport.
Wonderful whiskey collection. We had a burger and a few appetizers and they were all fantastic! Walking distance from our hotel and we will likely be back this trip. The employees are taking COVID-19 precautions seriously.
Service, food and ambience were so great. It was late at night,so we only ordered one shareable and and one entree. They plated separately for us, that look like 2 separated plates. The food was awesome. We ordered crab cakes and the duck meat loaf. Definitely will coming back.
Holiday dinner with small group. Attentive and kind service. Starters and small plates were very tasty. Mains all around were part of clean plate club. Very enjoyable dinner
Our host Terry was excellent. He was very knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive. Perfect ambiance for a long overdue "Girl's Night Out."
Highly impressed! I ordered online & received a phone call within minutes to ensure that my order was correct. Nobody ever does that so that was much appreciated! The food arrived quickly & tasted amazing. Will definitely be ordering again!
The food and service here is 10 Star. Our server Zack took exceptional care of our party for my wife's birthday and our anniversary.
Best ribeye I ever tasted.
Highly recommend.
My husband and I had our wedding reception here! Robin and her team were the BEST to work with! I can’t even say how they went above and beyond to make every detail of our wedding PERFECT! There were RAVING reviews from all our family and friends about the food and all the great customer service! As a bride this was my dream day!!! Thank you to The Gladly for EVERYTHING! We will be back every year for our anniversary!!!
This place is easily one of my favorite places in Phoenix. They have an amazing whiskey selection. The menu always changes, but always has numerous choices I can't wait to try.
If you ever have the chance to get their short ribs don't miss out!
Ordered a cocktail - vodka with pineapple juice to start with. I got the seared pan scallops and my friend got the Seabass. We both were craving good seafood - and this place was perfect for it. We were staying at the AC Hilton Biltmore for work event and this place was what's recommended to us.Kinda hoping they would add another piece of scallop for that price
Great atmosphere if you like the bar scene. A little slow getting served for dinner, but if you're looking for an amazing choice of whiskeys this is the place.
You've got to get the "Ice Ball" - really cool.
Nice atmosphere, very posh and hip. I had a Cubano sandwhich they had a special on the day i went so unfortunately cant speak for their regular menu, however, it was SO good i have complete confidence that anything ordered there would be excellent. The ham was thick and meaty and the bacon thick and crispy, just saucey enough without being messy and two giant sweet tangy pickle slices. Came with house made purple potato salt and vinegar chips.
A premium quality dining experience with a vibrant atmosphere and lots of rich foods. We started with drinks, and were treated to a performance of melting a cube of ice down to a perfect, crystal clear sphere. They have a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, I converted one to a mocktail. The food I would classify in the savory and rich entrée category. We are talking Filet mignon, waygu beef and pork burgers, roasted brussel sprouts with sourdough bread, duck meatloaf type fare. We had a great time with a mini family reunion, and our server acted as a friendly guide, suggesting menu items that complimented everything wonderfully. Dessert was a tangy lemon tart with blueberries. The premium experience comes with higher prices, but most folks know filet mignon isn't a bargain menu item. For special occasions where you want to treat yourself, Gladly is a solid choice very likely to leave you, family and friends with a lot of positive memories.
Excellent happy hour. Food and drink very good. Excellent craft whiskey cocktails. Parking can be a bit challenging. Pull behind the Bldg and park on the upper deck. Same owner as Citizens Public House in Scottsdale.
I loved everything we ate, including fondue, octopus, roasted root vegetables, duck meatloaf and the incomparable duroc pork chop. The waiter was phenomenal. Even the iced green tea was great.
Although it's not the kind of place most would take their four young children, I chose to and was not disappointed. We felt very comfortable having our family of six including the 10 month old, which surprised me. In fact, my five year old ordered a second plate of octopus.
I will definitely be back whenever I have the opportunity.
First time - Food was delicious. Waiter had many tables including 2 large parties. I was worried at first . He did a great job managing all of his tables. Looking forward to dining at the Gladly again .
This is the sister restaurant of Citizen's Public House that's located in old town Scottsdale. The food is delicious, and they have happy hour until 6PM. Try the chopped salad! It's my favorite!!
The best valued New Year's Eve fixed menu I've had in a while. Extensive choices were offered for both the salad and entree courses. The food was delicious and service was prompt. I couldn't have asked for a better dinner on my New Year's Eve.
Stopped by for a business meeting, great central location. The server sold me on their Cobb special which is mixed tableside, I am not a salad guy, but this was awesome. Will take pics the next time I will go there. Also you can have it topped with four ounces of smoked salmon or grilled salmon, which I what I took.
I went here for a work dinner, the food was phenomenal. Appetizers were not overly large and tasted great. The ice ball was a fun experience and dinner couldn’t be better. This was rounded out with an extremely professional wait staff.
We ordered the SMOKED MOZZARELLA FONDUE, THE ORIGINAL CHOPPED SALAD, PAN SEARED SCALLOPS and SALTED CARAMEL dessert. Everything was level to all the hype. An unexpected wonderful part of my Gladly experience was sitting along the glass wall facing Camelback Road. I loved the people watching! Our meal began before the dinner rush. As the dining area filled up it became difficult to hear what my company was saying.
Delicious food and amazing service. Our party enjoyed sitting outside - the outside setting is semi-private, very well designed great for a larger party/family lunch or dinner. I will definitely go there again.
Food, service, drinks were all very good. We had the duck meatloaf and the pork with peach chutney; very delicious. Appetizer of seafood soup and chop salad. And dsert of frozen cheesecake with mangos. We will definitely go back.
I have now been to the Gladly several times for private events. Working with Robin made things very easy. The food and drinks and service were fantastic. I now know of many people that go there because of our private events. The chopped salad is second to none. This is my go to place.
Excellent selection of whiskeys for most budgets. Tip: get the ice ball, it's worth the $3 for the show alone, and it does maximize the flavor of the whiskey. Plis they give a dollar of it to charity. And the food is wonderful. The location used to be Ruth's Chris before them, and the quality is not any less now under The Gladly's management than it was before.
Thank you Mike for the delicious old fashioned made with Basil Hayden's! Great cocktail! I had the brussel sprout and grits appetizer for my dinner and it was delish (though rather prefer my sprouts a bit more roasted, closer to well done). Awesome atmosphere and music. Must go here if ya love whiskey. Huge selction, and it appears they serve them in a glen cairn glass if ya order it neat.
This restaurant is not inexpensive, but the food and service was extremely good. They have the "Cowboy Ciao" Salad which is my all time favorite. The risotto had a bit more pepper in it than I like. Next time will request light pepper.
We've been here several times now. The Gladly has a chic modern vibe and I generally find the staff to be amiable. If your life is missing an oversized ice ball in your glass of Scotch, handcrafted right before your very eyes, then this is the place for you. They have several areas for larger groups that come in handy for parties or work events. Our most recent visit was for my wife's office. We had the big room in the back and a fixed menu. She had the scallops and me the filet for entrees. Crabcakes were served to start. The food was good but no culinary paradigms were shifted that night. The room came with a bartender and he did everything in his power to connect me with libations. Cheers to that.
Attended a pharma dinner. The appetizers were wonderful, food delicious and service wonderful. I had a chance to look at their regular menu and they run the gamut from simple tapas to breakfast/brunch or lunch. Very "kitschy".
Top notch service and a menu to match that is always consistently well executed. Great craft cocktails as well. A monthly dinner spot for us.
I was hooked the first time after coming in for dinner. Flawlessly clear ice ball made tableside in a copper press for my Japanese whiskey.....umm yes! Open concept is beautiful but makes for a loud experience that is often difficult for my *ahem* senior parents. Menu changes often and stays current with seasonal offerings. Was just in for a business lunch. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and struck the right balance between being there and leaving us to our work. Parking can always be a bit of a challenge. A staple in my arsenal of places to recommend to friends!
We had a great birthday date for my wife's here. Food was amazing and so we're the drinks/service. Not my favorite parking lot etc though but we got a good spot and were lucky.
Everything was great! The food was awesome, aesthetic was sleek and classy, drinks were tasty and interesting, and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well. Jack & Brendan were behind the bar and they were the best. We'll be back!
Plenty good but this part of Phoenix has many as good or better. Food solid good, service very good. Dinner better than lunch. With the large windows to bounce sound it can get noisy and warm. Once or twice a year I go there. That's plenty for me.
The Gladly located right in the heart of Biltmore area - the restaurant is right on Camelback with great views of area from any seat in the restaurant. If you are not from area parking could be difficult, but park behind building and enter through main building on west side of building - small entrance just to the left once coming in. Super cute trendy restaurant. Came in for Happy Hour right before a show not too far away, at 5pm Happy Hour in the bar is already busy so get there early.
Food; The Original Chopped salad is to die for, and a must try. Highly recommend, plus perfect for sharing. My all time favorite was the roasted brussel sprouts, I honestly could have sat and ate them all night. Also, tried to drink special of the day, which I couldn't tell you what was in it, it was a bit tart but refreshing.
Service; While Cortney was main server, the support service staff was super attentive and very friendly.
Just visited the Gladly for the first time. Amazing burger, chopped salad is the best ever, beautiful atmosphere and perfect service. Parking is a small issue but worth the trouble for such a great restaurant. This is clearly an establishment run by someone who knows what they're doing.
Great happy hour and service is excellent!
We had a company happy hour on The Gladly patio. The service was fantastic and the appetizers and drinks were good quality. The atmosphere was perfect to relax and enjoy good conversations.
Expectations were high, sadly the place didn’t meet it. Take ear plugs because it’s a loud place and don’t try to have a conversation during your meal because you’ll end up losing your voice yelling to make a comment. Limited food choices equals $$$ so be prepared to try something new.
Do come if you plan on dropping some bills to try the whiskey selection. Ask ask and ask the server any questions. You won’t regret it!
I ordered the original chopped salad. It was fantastic. It was my first time getting this on a recommendation from a friend and they comped me for it. The salad was terrific. Simple yet delicious. There was a kind of elegantence to the simpliy of the ingredients thatade up the salad, yet it was a completely different experience with a salad I've ever had. Within the basics of this this salad there was a quite genius that made this truely an enjoyable meal. I'll be returning to the gladly for this salad and sharing my experience with my friends. Thank you for putting love and care into the preparation of your dishes.
A lunch time favorite in Phoenix. Great regular menu and the specials keep it interesting.
Fantastic happy hour. Brussel Sprouts were a tasty choice, as well as the Thai margarita. Service was exceptional, and the atmosphere is upscale but very comfortable. Will return.
Amazing food, cocktails, bartenders, especially Lauren, whiskey and desserts. Definately worth eating and drinking your way through the menu! Donny's raw bar is incredible too!!
Gladly has a very welcoming and magnetic atmosphere. Menu selection has a very unique, flavorful blend of favorite foods reimagined complemented by a great selection of tasty libations. Service was prompt, cheerful and thoughtful. A new favorite.
Not sure about this place - has a cool patio
A very nice place....best meal I've had here in the entire month of April....can't wait to go back!
Went here for the Valentine's day menu. The menu was great. We ordered the scallops and fillet. The drink menu is second to none in Phx. Great ambiance and service. The Gladly never disappoints.
The Gladly has been a local favorite for years. From business dinners to date nights, the ambiance and offerings provide for a great meal. My party and I were enthused to visit The Gladly post-quarantine as our first meal dining in. The scallops were devine, per usual, and original chopped salad didn’t disappoint. Burrata and Pinot noir to round out the meal made it complete. So blessed to be able to enjoy a meal at this amazing Phoenix staple and look forward to more and more.
Mister's office was close by. We walked to the Gladly to grab lunch. Nice choice. Short lunch menu. Full bar. Our food selections were pleasing. The place wasn't tho crowded. Staff was attentive and on point.
Two words. Duck. Meatloaf.
Some of the mixed drinks are really excellent. The raw oysters beforehand that we got weren't all that impressive, but the deviled egg spread was incredible.
Give this place a shot!
Oh Yeah! We've been there twice and the food and service were excellent! The appetizers were excellent and are very big. The burger and salads there were outstanding. Highly recommended!
Great place! Wonderful ambience! The chop salad with the smoked salmon is excellent!
Best Scotch selection in town and you can't beat the chopped salad (yes, really the salad is out of this world). Only place I always order a salad.
Excellent ambient, service and food! We tried their Original Chopped Salad, Chimichurri Chicken, and Wagyu Burger and I can't tell you which one was the best cause they were all very delicious. The chicken dish had some slight Indian/Curry flavor to it which was surprisingly delicious.
Excellent service and really good food! Happy hour is the time to go, prices are right.
Very bougie with the price tag to fit however the food and cocktails were delectable so I'll definitely keep this place on the docket! Server was great too!
Excellent selection of whiskey! If you love whiskey, you'll love this place. I mean, everything from Scoth (single or blended), to Irish, Bourbon, and Rye. They also give you room temperature water with a little dropper for tasting your whiskies neat. Hats of to these guys. They know whiskey.
I had the filet mignon with a couple of rye whiskeys and my taste buds were never happier.
Impressed with the food quality and service. The restaurant had a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Happy we tried this lovely place.
Wonderful time! Try the Cigarettes and Coffee if you want an extra special cocktail.
One of our favorite places for a date night. The scallop dish is amazing. We've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed.
Service is great, food is not. Duck meatloaf has a very strong bad smell, the seared scallops were great.
The parking situation is horrible, almost as bad as the Los Angeles trendy restaurants. Accesibility is not good for elderly people
It was OK, had shrimp cocktail. But this was a new one on me and wife. Four jumbo shrimp seating on ice and shrimp sauce, no avocado cucumber nothing like that. $
Had cocktails and appetizers at the bar. Excellent service and recommendations. Drinks were perfect! Lauren was great! Amazing selection of whiskeys and bourbons.
Great modern ambiance. Ordered the fillet mignon, which came with potatoes, and I ordered an extra side of risotto. The steak was a tad undercooked for medium rare, but the waiter was super cool about it and promptly corrected my complaint, and even brought out extra potatoes to make up for the extra 4 minute wait it took to warm up the meat.
The reason for my four star review was the risotto, which was too hard, gummy, and bland. I suppose it's a matter of preference, but my ideal risotto is al dente, fluffy, and infused with the advertised flavor ingredient (i.e. mushroom, chicken, parmesan or in this case, ricotta). Ricotta, in and of itself, is a very mild cheese, so perhaps this risotto was intended to have a very subtle, borderline flavorless, character, better suited as a plate base to be topped with a tangy / pungent sauced meat dish, as opposed to a stand alone side, as currently presented on their menu.
Bartenders know their Whiskey and Bourbons. The seafood chowder was incredible with the bacon on top!!! Yum! Had the short ribs for dinner, wow! Wow! Wow! Nicely done chef.
A really good lunch. The app with grilled bread, lemon sweet butter, flaked salt and olives was great. Really good cocktails too with ice balls if you choose.
Nice chic place with an intimate atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a date night with your special somebody. Food and drinks are tasty! Little pricey but it's worth it!
Inside seating more comfortable than outside, and easy parking. Sausage, cheese and pretzel bread the best starter
Oh so yummy! Went for lunch and loved the atmosphere, nice fresh food and great flavors. Plenty of gluten free choices. Lots of windows and natural light.
Ordered take out -- the original chopped salad and chicken club sandwich were delicious. Next time we are in Phoenix, will come back. Gladly's is the sister restaurant of Citizen Public House in Scottsdale. Good food and atmosphere.
The duck meatloaf was not good, at all. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare but was cooked medium; the flavors and seasoning were mediocre on this dish and certainly not worth the nearly $40 price tag. The amazing, attentive service, decor, great ambience, and chopped salad are what earned all their stars and saved date night.
For 5-star cuisine in midtown Phoenix look no further than the gladly. The prices are high but worthy of the cuisine. Also, if you're so inclined, they are famous for their huge assortment of whiskey.
One of the best restaurants in Phoenix, the Chop Salad is a must. Their scallops are delicious and they have great drinks. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.
Love this place! Prices are reasonable, food is excellent, and servers are friendly and knowledgeable. They make great recommendations to get you out of your comfort zone. You won't be disappointed.
The gladly never ceases to amaze me, drinks are always to the tee, food and service are next to none, and the comfortable atmosphere mixed with the genuine hospitality always makes me leave with the biggest big smile on my face. Thank you to everyone in that building continuously bringing joy to my heart and stomach.
Always a solid option in the Biltmore area. Beautiful space great service and the Chopped salad is well known for a reason. But there is plenty more to offer. The raw bar has been pretty rocking as of late.
Aside from charging my credit card twice, everything else was great.
Amazing cocktails. If you're the type of person who values a drink constructed by a true mixologist, this is the place to go. On top of that, the food seems to be approached in the same way. Delicious!
Took myself to dinner. Service was prompt and attentive, food was excellent AND the management went above and beyond to fulfill my requests. I'll be back. And if you haven't had the Chopped Salad, it's a must💜 …
Stopped in for drinks and ended up getting the brussel sprouts app. Cool vibe, limited wine and beer menu, more of a whiskey bar but overall, I dig it.
Service was excellent, as was the food and cocktails. Our server, Brad, was top notch. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and his recommendations helped ensure the best possible dining experience.
If you want 5 star food at a 2 star price, this is the place for you. The drinks are to die for (get the thai margarita). Though it may sound bleh, chicken liver pate.....holy smokes is that amazing. Ive frequented the gladly for the past 3 years and not 1 thing there has disaapointed me. When u head down there and fall in love with their food and dinks, you will thank me.
This place has an amazing happy hour! Half price on the raw seafood bar. Straight up yum. Oysters raw scallops ahi. Get some in your belly.
The food and service were amazing. Each dish we had was an amazing combination of flavors that perfectly complimented each other. It's expensive, but well worth the money.
Came to THe Gladly for an Elite event. Before, we decided to grab a snacky snack at the bar. I ordered a glass of temperanillo and my boyfriend ordered a glass of whiskey... with an ice ball.
The bartender was incredibly personable and made a beautifully clear sphere of ice right in front of us. My boyfriend was a HUGE fan of this and I've never been to a bar that does these! We ordered a quick bite, the pretzel appetizer. It was a pretzel roll, some white cheddar, and some sausage. It was.. well, it was OK. The sausage and cheese paired pretty well with my wine, and the roll was ok. I only regret the mustard. I LOVE mustard, but this mustard was way too strong for my taste, although, still packed amazing flavor. Overall, I would l ove to come back to The Gladly to try some other plates and am pretty sure we will be.
Excellent food, service, prices. All around great place for a great meal. Inside and outside dining available. Don't forget to check out the Raw bar. Great daily specials.
Awesome chopped salad !! Great service from Ella
Expensive, but this is a classy place. Low lights. Dark colors. The food was absolutely amazing, as well as the wine. Service was pleasant and prompt with no complaints. Parking can be difficult.
Everything is great! My wife loved the Waygu burger ("Best ever") and the scallops we tender and delicious! Honey ice cream was a real treat
Delicious. Sister restaurant of citizens public House which is one of my favorites. Their cocktails were fantastic as well. Great atmosphere
What a great spot. Found via a work event but will be back.
One of our favorite restaurants in Phoenix. The whiskey list is the best you'll find anywhere, and the food is always excellent. Good ambiance as well. Always a good experience dining here!
You have to try the chopped salad. It is dreamy.
Conveniently located next to my office. So I pop in for happy hour every couple weeks. It would be great if HH went until 630-7. A little on the pricey side, but pretty good food.
Great Happy Hour. The chopped salad is always solid but their other menu items are great too.
Decor inside is very nice. Great patio with a lot of landscaping. The staff are excellent every time I am there. Good beer selection!
I went on a Wednesday for lunch and this place was busy and loud. The food was great, however I only gave it 3 starts because the service was seriously lacking. I was seated at the patio and was intermittently forgotten. At one point I had to call the restaurant from my cell phone to get someone to come out and refill my water.
Awesome.
Loved it! Can't wait to go back. Had the Chimichurri Chicken and was not a disappointment! Great taste, not spicy...the potatoes were a perfect combination.
The food selection for lunch was good. Atmosphere was good. My meal was just average for the price. I would try it for happy hour because they had a good bar selection
Good all around - food, service and atmosphere. The ice ball you can order for your whiskey is a must do. A 3in cube made into a sphere table side.
Pretty good place. I've heard from many people about it. Good chopped salad. Service was on point which is always nice. Overall a nice experience. Will be back to more menu items.
Beautiful atmosphere, our server Terry was knowledgeable and attentive. Great experience. Will return !!!!
This place is always great, always! Excellent staff, excellent drinks, excellent food! The Chopped Salad is a must try!
Made reservations for a birthday. Great food! Love the atmosphere! We were well attended! Definitely recommend.
3/5 Chili's
The only similarity between this place and Chili's is the complimentary water (which was a very nice touch). Atmospherically speaking, I think there was more light but usually I go to Chili's at night so can't say for certain. There weren't nearly as many options on the menu and was disappointed to not see a 2 or $20 option. Chopped salad descriptions was just a link to facebook but I wasn't in range of the Chili's free wifi network so couldn't access. Ordered it anyway, but was unsure why the salad was so expensive if it didn't come with a quesadilla on the side. Eating here will likely leave you wishing that when your date asked you, "wanna go to Chili's?" you'd instead answered, "gladly," and not "stephen we were just there." Nearest Chili's is 7 miles away, so overall not a bad option if the roads are closed for a parade or flooding.
Had the chop salad. It was phenomenal. The service was impeccable. Better than even the nicest restaurants in town. Great for an upscale business lunch.
Great atmosphere for a get together with good friends. Excellent menu and one helluva top notch drink menu. Their bartenders are true artisans.
Always a great meal when we go. Service is great too. The brown butter tuna sashimi and the original chop salad are my go to favorites
It’s fine. Not a big fan of donuts or loud mouth waiters from the Olive Garden when I have to entertain a low end client here. Try to load up on coffee and Prozac to maintain face if you’re paying for it. It’s not 6 Star.
Good food and service. Love it!
Decent drink selection and creative menu, but acoustically challenging with pedestrian and bland food. Other members of our group fared better, but for this transplanted NYer, the Gladly is a pass.
Good, maybe fairly good, but you should never have to crack cold crab claws. We had a blast, and loved the ice balls, but there were several mediocre moments that over shadowed the awesomeness.
Great HH even if you aren't a drinker they make tasty mocktails. Also, if you have an electric car the building has two charging spots which are free and front row. HH oysters was tasty and cheap.
This is one of my go-to restaurants. Everyone knows about the chopped salad, but the other dishes are good too. A great bourbon selection.
Let's just say I'm Glady that I came here :) all jokes aside, the food is amazing and the service is impeccable! Outstanding restaurant. I highly recommend the fish tacos
OMG! The Brussel Sprouts appetizer was amazing. And you simply must try the Coffee and Cigarettes cocktail.
The food is absolutely delicious. I have been to several conferences here. Parking can be kind of a bear, in the evenings I’ll park across the street and walk over. Service is always very good.
We come for the chopped salad and the ice balls. Hard to beat the atmosphere and the excellent whiskey and scotch selection. Great outdoor seating as well
The whiskey and scotch selection brought me here and the super cool ice ball to keep it chilled just right will bring me back. Bring some money though, it ain't a cheap divey joint, for sure, but hip and happenin'
Posting late... awesome 3 course pre-fixe dinner on Valentine's Day, great service, relaxing atmosphere, and superior whiskey choices. We'll be back!
Great service and food. Had the charred steak salad, fried chicken sandwich, chicken liver pate, and the pulled pork grilled cheese.....everyone in the group shared.....everything was enjoyed.
Their chop salad is a must! Also great house cocktails and a classy, relaxed vibe.
Poke salad is equally delicious as chopped one. Wonderful service. Tables still socially distanced.
The delivery of our meal took a long while, my mashed potatoes were warm not hot which it should of been.
Exceptional service and the food - outstanding!
Great food and drinks. They have gluten free options. It would be nice for a gluten free and dairy free dessert.
Great quality food and drink. Limited in menu offerings but can never go wrong with the chopped salad with smoked salmon.
Food is excellent with great presentation. The staff is accommodating and they have patio seating, if the weather's nice.
Our family ate Christmas Eve dinner there. It was all very good. Had the most expensive prime rib I've ever had for $60. It was cooked to well done.
I'm not a Salmon eater typically but their famous salmon salad is divine. It is the only place I will justify paying $15+ for a salad.
Food and service was fantastic! I ordered the steak salad, which was delicious.
The Gladly is a great place to have a good lunch or a fun place to grab happy hour after work. They have a great happy hour menu with a wide selection of food and drinks to keep everyone happy!
Their chopped salad is the best salad I’ve ever had
Fantastic place! The food was phenomenal and the cocktails were inventive and delicious. Service was absolutely stellar.
Food was outstanding. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. What a bar! Check it out you won't be disappointed.
This place is amazing! I visited when I was in town for work and the scallops were AWESOME! The staff was super friendly and helpful! I’d definitely recommend checking out this place!
My partner and I have been here three times and each time has been better than before. This is now going to be one of our favorite go-to spots. So good!!
Atmosphere, service, food, and drinks were fantastic. The tuna poke and "coffee and cigarettes" cocktail were great.
The food was out of this world. This seems like a popular place. My only complaint was the service was very slow. Overall I highly recommend...and be sure to try the brussel sprouts.
Our first visit, we will return :-) Excellent!!! Loved the fish Tacos. Shea is a wonderful waiter.
Amazing whisky selection and a great staff, I'd be comfortable ordering any cocktail and having full confidence the staff would execute it perfectly.
The staff were so sweet! And I highly recommend the scallops dish if you like seafood!
Good food, good/friendly service. If you're into whiskeys, this is place to go; excellent selection.
Seriously amazing. Chopped salad is bomb and cocktails are really good also. Also ordered Mac and cheese duck meatloaf and wagyu burger!
Staff very attentive, and great food. I had the salmon cooked perfectly!
A great place for dinner and drinks with friends. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic and we will definitely be returning again and again.
The Gladly is fantastic! The Super Yummy Nuts are one of my favorite things! The fish tacos are perfect for Taco Tuesday or really anytime!
Mahattans were amazing! Service was great!
Was there for my sons wedding rehearsal dinner. The service was terrific & the meal was delicious!!! Very high end, nice place.☺
Very nice
The tenderloin steak salad is great. So is their famous chopped salad.
Pricey but so good! My daughters took me for Mother's Day as a surprise. Everything we had was exceptionally good. Highly recommend.
Food is delicious! Filet mignon was amazing ;-p and their trio tarts were yum!
Great place to get your original chopped salad fix. Dont forget that there happy hour features a wonderful raw bar for some delicious oysters.
Food is great and the staff is wonderfully friendly. I always feel just a little hungry after my entree and at these prices I wish I stayed full longer.
The decor was nice everything seemed a little overpriced I got three scallops and they were slightly raw on the inside. I worried the whole time that I was going to get sick
Great, delicious meals. Portion sizes are a bit small, but quality and taste are amazing. Definitely worth it!
Once again superb. All is great.
Great food for sure. Had the chopped salad, scallops and then some sorbet for dessert. Lots of great flavors!
Great place for lunch and happy hour. Lots of options, including gluten free. Nice atmosphere.
I took the servers advice and ordered the seared scallops. Wow, just wow!
Hip, modern and a fun place to dress up, have a small bite and some freshly thought up cocktails. People watching is fun and it's perfect for a start to a night out.
Delicious restaurant with impeccable service. A hidden jem in the middle of the dessert. Try their twist on a Cobb salad as it is absolutely delicious.
Not great. Burrata was a waste of money. The chopped salad was the only thing on the menu worth having.
Nice modern place. Food portion very small but good.
Great atmosphere, good food! We came for restaurant week and were impressed by the salads and entrees but disappointed with the desserts.
Delicious food, energetic vibe, attentive servers, and well mixed cocktails. This place is known for it's whisky collection
The place was very chill. Had a good vibe and the service was fantastic. Had the wagyu burger and I was real impressed. I'd be back for lunch.
Great food and even better whiskey/bourbon selection. The pretzel, sausage & cheese platter was incredible.
Excellent service, exceptional Single Malts and Whiskey list. Innovative food, with both good visual and great taste.
Excellent staff. The food was good, but nothing to right home about. The ambience was good. Easy to park, with plenty of parking in the back.
OMG delicious affordable unique and very classy lust awesome selection of whiskeys fantastic cocktails plus free parking for 2 hours affordable nice dinners as well
The food was well done and the drinks were delightful. Worth eating and drinking your way through the menu.
Loved this place! Visited here from Toronto. Great drinks and excellent gluten free options!
Nice bar tenders. Slightly older crowd. Good happy hour.
Had a great experience! Food was amazing. Service was phenomenal. Definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed.
Great service, delicious food, and large whiskey selection! Server was knowledgeable and recommended a great bourbon.
The food and cocktails here is always fantastic, but they are always outshined by the service. They are always very kind and helpful.
Great food and service. The short rib was one of the best I've had and the mac and cheese is incredible.
Food is amazing, smaller restaurant with a great atmosphere. Best selection of whiskey I have seen...over 250 different whiskeys!
Great service, our waiter Tim is amazing and would not have anybody else serve us as we love him. The food is outstanding
The original chopped salad and the scallops are the best dishes here! I love going sundays! Ita always the best place.
First time and the food and service was 5 stars. The decorations and ambience was really nice and very inviting.
Had the steak salad above average. So much bourbon almost hard to choose. Cant wait to go back
Gladly was a delightful experience. Liz was very pleasant and timed our meal to perfection.
Great service, drinks, and food. The fresh oysters were great.
Staff and food were great. Very friendly and attentive to detail for a special order for my diet I was on at the time.
Stalwart Phoenix restaurant spot. Excellent bar, food, and service. Good for a business dinner or date night. They do a great job at this restaurant.
Excellent food (pot roast from heaven), great service and amazing whiskey options. A new favorite.
This place is cool,it's like a subway for Pizza. and the pizzas cook real quick. This place is a must-go.
Very nice place. Good craft very selection and great mixed drinks. The Gladly Manhatten is great!
Great food and amazing service. Love that they offer takeout options.
Amazing seating with the view, friendly staff, happy hour and wide variety of cocktails were awesome to beat the phoenix heat.
Great chicken and risotto which was gluten free. A little pricey so check prices to ensure you're comfortable with.
Roasted Brussel sprouts and grits was very good. An unusual combination and tasty.
Buratta starter was very good. Acorn squash main was even better. Excellent service.
Food and drinks were amazing
Excellent place. The service and food was outstanding. Definitely a place to go without any doubt. You won't regret.
Great food! Wonderful menu! Impeccable service! We will definitely be back.
Great food and service. My chicken was perfect and my husband's salmon was so fresh.
Love this place. Good food and great whiskey selection. They even have glencairn glasses for tasting.
They are open and such a great to dine in. Live the staff. Sooo friendly. Thx Zack and Shea who brought our bottle of wine 🍷 …
