Delicious Vietnamese sandwich. I like Number 2 BMB Special more than Number 3. It loaded with egg, grilled meat, pate and vegetable. The boba is a bit too soft from over boiling. However, it’s great value for money. Will come back for sandwich again.

This place was delicious. We live in Las Vegas, Nevada and this place was recommended by a local friend of ours. We’ve never had banh mi so this was new but we love Asian foods. We got the number one classic banh mi to try the classic and the number eight pulled pork. Both were delicious and like the size of your arm. Loaded with veggies which was a big hit with me! We also got the pork belly bao buns and the crab puffs which were also great. 10 out of 10 would recommend and will come back next time we’re in Phoenix. The noodle salad bowls looked really good also. I can’t see anything here being bad. The bad reviews I saw looked like people who don’t understand Asian food? Which is their problem. This was great.

Went for the first time today and was very impressed by how delicious the bahn mi was. The meat was much sweeter than im used to but it was still well marinated. The fresh and pickled vegetables were delicious and crunchy.

We ordered two different sandwiches. I had the classic, and my wife had the grilled chicken. Both were excellent. The portion size did not disappoint, and the price was reasonable. This was our first time here, but it won't be our last. The table behind us had ordered their fresh rolls and spring rolls. I will try these on our next visit. Highly recommended.

I got the #5 BBQ pork and a side of egg rolls. The bread was fantastic! It was crunch on the outside, soft and airy on the inside. The pickled carrots and daikon were fresh, crisp and bright. And the pork had great flavor, was moist and had nice little pieces of fat on it. The egg rolls were hot and crispy, the dipping sauce was sweet with a bit of heat. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and look forward to going back. Update, I've been back nearly weekly trying everything on the menu. This has easily become my new favorite restaurant. My favorite dish on their menu is the noodle salad bowl with pork. It is absolutely delicious. The tender pork, the crunch of the cucumber, the heat from the sambal, the vinegar from the dressing. Perfect dish!

Update: this place is still fantastic! The vegetarian bahn mi with tofu is amazing. My husband tried the shaken beef, and it was delicious too. The homemade mayo and the bread are out if this world. Great food! It was our first visit, and the owner (I think) was very helpful in making a recommendation for what to try. The portion size was amazing, my husband and I were able to split a sandwich and it was plenty of food. The appetizers were great too, a good way to sample a few different things.

I come in here all the time since I work just down the street. Food is delicious and always consistent. My go to order is the noodle salad bowl with pork and egg roll. I always get a good amount of meat with my order. The staff is super friendly and recognize repeating customers like myself. 10/10 will continue to come here.

Lunch with a colleague, and had an absolutely fantastic BBQ pork sandwich. Good ambience for a work discussion, and it was truly difficult to pick my lunch order. Totally stand by the choice, though, the BBQ pork was really satisfying. Highly recommend!

The hype is real. Was recommended this place by my girlfriend's family, who is from Vietnam. This is their favorite bàhn mì place in the valley and I can see why-- the food is outstanding. Their ham is my favorite, their grilled pork is much less gristly and fatty than a lot of other places, and the service was friendly, even during the lunch rush.

This place has a simple selection that is executed well. Portions are amazing and are a phenomenal value. They really want you to know that they do not serve Pho! They specialize in Banh Mi and other authentic vietnamese favorites. 10/10 would prefer to have lunch here again if im in the area! My only complaint is that it is popular and the staff seems to have a hard time keeping up with cleaning off the tables. I also wonder if there isnt a better alternative to the hundreds of rubber bands they go through only to be left behind by the customers and then eventually discarded by the staff.

This is literally one of my FAVORITE meals. I get the shaken beef Banh Mi with extra meat. The meat is always so tender and unlike anything else (why I get extra) and I love the Vietnamese pickled veggies. The sandwich is huge and such a value. My husband always get the pork belly bao - Also delicious! Their coconut boba is also fantastic. We’ve gotten their dumplings, egg rolls, lotus salad. Literally, everything is amazing. The staff is always friendly. Love this place so, so much! Worth every cent and love supporting this family business. Always recommend to friends and family and so glad it’s close to where I work and live.

The food is great but they close whenever they want to. Sometimes 3 pm. Sometimes 4 pm. They are never open until they’re advertised close time. It’s strange as I would think people coming home from work after 5 would be good business for them. Call before you go to check they’re open 🤷‍♂️

My adult kids and I went here for lunch. We each had a different type of Bahn mi. The bread was nice and crispy on the outside, soft in the middle. The vegetables and herbs were fresh and crisp. The meats were well seasoned. We went with a high 4 as we would need to try some of their noodle dishes for a full 5.

Amazing, huge banh mis. Excellent baguettes with fresh, delicious fillings. Big enough that if you're not super hungry you could split one with someone else for lunch. I spent 3 months in Vietnam eating banh mis almost daily and this place checks out.

The food is excellent. Ordered the Cheesevurger Banh Mi and spring rolls. The bread amazing, soft on the inside with a little bit if a crisp crust on the outside. Ingredients are fresh. The spring rolls are delicious too. And the price is right. I come here about 3 times a week to grab lunch or dinner.

THE BREAD HERE IS SO GOOD. I do wish the pickled veggies had a little more flavor, but good lord this sandwich was ON POINT. Also, I’d never seen a Lotus Root Salad before so had to give that a try and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor packed into the tiny side dish. Although it’s out of my way, I’d certainly plan to head back here when in the mood for an authentic Banh mi.

This was my second time in less than a week coming here, and we were in the area, once again. I liked it that much that I had to stop for 'take out!' The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic and delish. My hubby's first Banh Mi, ever! Albeit, the bread was a little too hard aside from what I've read. Maybe it was left out or not as fresh since it was already early evening. Either way, I would still order and give it another try. Our first time there, we ate in. We ordered a few apps to share, Banh Mi, and my sis ordered the curry chicken bowl. We tried the Firecracker Salmon Rolls, Pork Belly Bao Buns, Potstickers and Spring Rolls. They were all delish! My fav were the Firecracker Rolls! The Spring Rolls tasted just as fresh, as when I make them at home! Now that's a plus!! They come with some type of dipping sauce infused with fish sauce or soy sauce. If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out! Ya don't have to be Asian to eat here! Nice, friendly service, and clean.

The Bánh Mi house special #2 is my favorite. The pork is very well seasoned and you get a fried egg on each half of the sandwitch. Portion size is large in comparison to other Báhn Mi sandwiches that i have had.

Five Stars! best Bánh Mí Bistro Vietnamese Restaurant Eatery. Restaurant is a show of quality product of an American restaurant doing their best. I don’t live near by but when my wife and I are close we stop by. And we might pick up a box of donuts in the plaza. Menu is awesome restaurant is clean and I can’t say enough how much work I saw going on as I sipped my Iced Viet coffee waiting for my order. Until next time.

6/15/18 Lunch The restaurant was clean and the line was moving very quickly. Customer service was good nothing to friendly but definitely not rude. The sandwich was good but nothing to wow you. Bread was fresh and veggies as well but the chicken that was teriyaki or soy didn’t constitute the cost. I can’t say anything about the salad because my guest didn’t eat it. Her boba drink was terrible though, her words not mine.

One of the best Viet sandwich shops in town! I have brought a lot of my coworkers to try it. Everyone loved this place. A few even went back there for dinner on the same day after I took them there for lunch the first time. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend #2 and #7 sandwich on the menu. My new favorite is the grilled chicken rice plate topped with a fried egg.

This place is definitely better than Lee’s sandwich. The #2 banh mi is hands down my favorite one but the classic #1 is also super tasty. Still haven’t tried any of their other food but they all look authentic and the restaurant is always packed with customers so you know they doing something right. Although this place is far from where I live I don’t mind the 30min drive for a good banh mi.

Friendly knowledgeable staff & generous delicious Vietnamese sandwiches, noodle salads, desserts & more. My husband always gets the Shaken Beef Bahn Mi Sandwich (#7) - a Vietnamese bun about 12" long with cubed ribeye steak, bell peppers, onions, Asian cole slaw, and sesame dressing. I have liked everything I've tried on the menu. My last visit I had the Grilled Chicken Noodle Salad Bowl. About 1/3 of a large bowl was filled with a cold salad of julienne cucumbers, bean sprouts, cilantro, mint, lettuce, pickled carrots, & daikon radish all topped with sliced green onion & chopped peanuts served with a sweet, but not too sweet, fish sauce. The rest of the bowl had cold (cool) rice vermicelli noodles topped with lots of pieces of warm grilled chicken. I put the fish sauce on some of the noodles because they needed something to perk them up. Utensils are plastic but stronger ones are not needed. Hoisin & soy sauce are available at the self serve drink/condiment area. You place your order at one end of the counter & pick it up at the other end when your number is called. There is a tip jar and I'm sure tips are appreciated. My husband wished they had beer but the non-alcoholic drinks they have are good. I like the Thai Milk Tea which is also known as Thai Ice Tea. You can get it with or without the tapicoca "bubbles". Prices are reasonable. As of Oct 2017, the huge sandwiches are $7, the noodle salads are $8, sides and appetizers are $4, specialty drinks like my Thai Ice tea were $3.50, and desserts range from $3.50 - $6. We are always too full for desserts but they look yummy. Next time I'm going to start with dessert!

Its getting pretty hot out and I work out side. The last thing I want to do is eat something that is heavy and make the rest of my day miserable. Banh Mì Bistro has a great and tasty solution. Banh Mì is a Vietnamese bisto that has some signature Vietnamese dishes but their signature dish is the banh mì sandwich. It is usualy a pork sandwich with fresh ingredients, aioli, on a fresh baguette. I ordered the BBQ pork. It is a Hong Kong styled bbq pork sandwich. I decided to get everything in mine which had the aioli, pickled carrots, daikon radish, cilantro, jalapenõ and sliced cucumbers. This sandwich hit the spot! It had a little of everything which was brought togeather nicely with a great baguette. Also there was some fresh brewed iced tea and green tea along with some other drink options. I highly recommend getting over to get a great sandwich from Banh Mì Bistro!

Great food that tastes absolutely refreshing. I got the bbq pork sandwich and deep fried pork egg rolls. While I think they're worth a try, I probably wouldn't go back. I found myself wanting for more flavor--maybe more vinaigrette or oil to make the flavors pop. Regardless, if you give this place a try, you're going to really like it!

We've found one of the very best Vietnamese restaurants in all of Arizona! Banh Mi Bistro is the perfect triad of delicious food, friendly service, and affordable prices! I highly recommend the Shaken Beef Banh Mi (full of flavor, very generous portion), Pork Belly Bao Buns (packed with flavor & fun to eat!), Crab Puffs (BEST we've ever had, they have a delicious crab and cream cheese mixture within!), Noodle Salad Bowl with Pork Egg Roll & Grilled Chicken (again, very delicious!), and Honeydew Smoothie with Boba (best smoothie, great mix of sweet yet refreshing)! We already can't wait to go back! Our tummies were very happy. They have a great variety to choose from, so I am sure there is something for everyone!

I’m somebody that gets a little bit of everything when I try a place. Firecracker salmon 10/10 best thing ever. Spring rolls amazing. Dumplings amazing! The pulled pork bahn mi is really good & so is the bbq pork. Gotta get the spicy sauce too! Everything so far has been on point! Just wish they stayed open later because I’d be here for dinner too!

I walked in, the man at the counter greeted me with a warm smile and a hi, how are you. I ordered a chicken banh mi. Total was $9 and change. I thought that seemed a little high for a banh mi. I waited maybe 1 min for my banh mi and the man handed it to me with another warm smile and a here you go my dear, enjoy. I thanked him and proceeded to unwrap my banh mi and scarf it down in my car. The banh mi is huge, like a footlong sub. No joke So the price point is not bad at all. The chicken is good, well cooked and flavorful. I should've asked for some lettuce because I really like my veggies. Everything was fresh and made on the spot by Vietnamese people. I would definitely come back here. They also have boba and espresso. Thank you Banh Mi Bistro!

The tofu bahn mi here was delicious! I’m vegetarian and my husband eats chicken but even he even loved this. The lady at the front recommended the tofu one and she did not disappoint. The tofu was so flavorful, the veggies were so fresh, and the bread was crisp on the outside and soft on inside. The ladies working were super nice. Also really enjoyed a taro milk tea with boba!

Portions are great for the price. 2 entree's with a side of spring rolls was about $26 dollars including taxes. The meat flavors were fantastic including with the mint and cilantro. However the fish sauce was different than other places we have experienced, still good. They also forgot to add a fried egg on one of the orders we ordered, overall service was good. Atmosphere was more modern than other Vietnamese restaurants.

I like the food but not the waitress’s service. I ordered Boba tea 🧋 with less ice, because I don’t like it to be too cold, also more ice would make the taste lighter. With the ice altogether, there was only 80% of the drink in the cup, with little bobas. Not the same amount of the milk tea or bobas that they presented on the counter. The noodle bowls were great.

Pretty good place. I ordered the #5 BBQ Pork Banh Mi and an order of Spring Rolls with Pork and Shrimp. Initially I thought it was a bit expensive compared to other places. However the quality is worth the price. The Sandwich is big and the meat is delicious. I'll be going there again.

They are delicious. I'll be honest, I only got their strawberry smoothie and Firecracker salmon rolls, but those two items were wonderful. Everything is a bit expensive, but the food is worth it and customer service is good. I was worried there would be a bad element inside the bistro because of the area it's in, but I was surprised to discover it's nice inside. So, if you like good food, I recommend Bánh Mì Bistro.

It is a 20 minute drive from where I live but I would make that trip 100 more times.

I will start off by saying the service was great and fast. Lady at the counter was very nice. I kept my order simple and had the Grilled Shrimp Rice Plate with Honeydew Smoothie. The shrimp was okay. All I could taste was the grill char (not complaining) but couldn't taste the flavor I could see on the shrimp. The Honeydew Smoothie was delicious. I wish other Banh Mi restaurants we're like this. I'm only in town for this day (11/25/18) so I will miss this place.

If you're looking for pho, why are you looking at a sandwich shop? This place is one of my favorites! Their prok buns are my absolute favorite food- and theirs beat out some far pricier competition downtown by FAR. I have tried the pork buns, grilled pork sandwich, vegetarian/pork/chicken noodle bowls, fried rice, and egg rolls and have enjoyed each and every single one. The staff has always been friendly, service is quick, and food is fresh! I've taken out and eaten in the restaurant and had equally great experiences. I'm sadly moving soon but look forward to coming here first thing when I visit family!

I've worked within walking distance of this restaurant since they opened and it's a food crime that this is only the second time I've eaten there. I will definitely be going back. They might have gotten five stars from me if they posted calorie counts, even if it was just on their web site. As it is I have to guess at the delicious calories I just consumed.

I had the Banh Mi Classic with the spring rolls. The spring rolls are some of the best i have had around Phoenix. It was the first time I had the Banh Mi sandwich as well. This place is very good and cheap. Their sandwiches are the best deal in AZ for the money; you could easily split them as they must be 16" long. I tried the beef sandwich once, but the rare meat bled too much for my liking and made the bread too soggy. I prefer their Bahn Mi with the meatballs, and my son loves the one with fried egg. The noodle salad bowls are really good with grilled chicken, or shrimp. Often times, I just get an appetizer for lunch like the Thai Papaya Salad with Shrimp which is an excellent value at $4.00. Their fried egg rolls are just OK. Grilled chicken and pork is pretty good. What I do not like is their BBQ pork. Avoid the BBQ pork, and I think you will have a great experience.

This is the best little Vietnamese eatery in town. Every item I have tried is wonderful! The pork belly bao, think Vietnamese soft taco, is a perfect combination of soft dough, seasoned slice of meat and crunchy veggies. The bun noodle salad with grilled meats is my go to comfort food. The signature bahn mi (#2) is my kind of hero! The milk teas with or without boba are so refreshing. A meal themselves. The ladies in the kitchen are friendly and efficient. While I was waiting for my order I saw a curry bowl that looked fabulous -- I am going to try that next.

Today I had a grilled chicken, and it was amazing, and that's an understatement. when I unwrapped my sandwich, I smelled perfume, thought maybe someone came in and smelled good. Nope! It was the sandwich, and so then I took a bite, worried my sandwich was tainted. No sir, the sandwich tasted delicious. For some reason it smelled of a fine perfume but it tasted divine. Clearly this sandwich was touched by the sandwich goddess. As I took bite after bite I reflected on my life, why was I blessed with such a perfect sandwich? I was unworthy. Tears were shed. And as I finished, I mourned the sandwich. You are gone but not forgotten. For real though, it did smell like perfume but tasted amazing. This is a legit place to eat a ban mi.

I love this place! My first introduction to this sandwich and Vietnamese food in general and it knocked it out of the park! The spring rolls are an absolute delight in both flavor and texture. Their peanut butter based sause is fantastic! The rolls they use for the sandwiches are fresh with the perfect amount of chew to the crust and softness inside. Fresh, the actual word "fresh" which means today, not the commonly used "freshly" which means last week-ish, but I digress...FRESH vegetables and meats on FRESH rolls make for a fantastic meal.

All around great food, very clean, with polite and professional service! This place is my favorite place to go for spring rolls. Absolutely the best! And the peanut sauce that comes with is on point. The pork they use is melt in your mouth delicious with a sweet and succulant flavor. The rice noodle bowl is also amazing. It makes up for them not serving pho, which they make very clear with the "no pho" signs posted everywhere. It's a funny quirk. It is also very clean and the employeres are very polite and professional. Since I've discovered this treasure i have to go at least once a week.

I usually have Pho and was disappointed that Bahn mi didn't serve Pho. I've never had a Bahn mi (vietnamese sandwich) however it was FANTASTIC! The bread was crusty on the outside and soft inside. The vegetables were crunchy and fresh. I ordered spring rolls too, and they were crunchy and fresh. The atmosphere is clean, upbeat and frendly. I will certainly eat here again.

Well worth the visit if you're craving Vietnamese sandwiches. Pho isn't available here, boba and other Vietnamese dishes are available. Heck the menu before you make the trip. Size portions are good, vegetables are fresh, area is super clean and even the bathrooms are pleasant.

Unexpected visit. I was going to stop at Carambas just a few doors down, when i saw this place. I went over, they had their menu on the window and a big sign NO PHO... The menu is small, I got the beef and shrimp with rice noodles with an order of egg rolls and a coconut milk boba drink.
