Reviews of Suraya Restaurant

Easily my favorite restaurant in the area for brunch - I've been back multiple times already! Most recently, we had the Taste of Suraya, as well as the pistachio cruller and chai latte. Both the cruller and chai latte were excellent. The mezzes (included) came with warm pita and made for a good appetizer. For the mains we had the Samke Harra (branzino with a slightly spicy sauce), chicken kebab (just ok), and shrimp (uncharge of $5 was worth it - very generous portion). The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The ambience and decor are also very tasteful. Overall, would highly recommend Suraya for a nice weekend brunch!

The food is incredible here! It seems like you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. That said, highly recommend the slow roasted lamb as a main course and the hummus and yoghurt dips for appetizers. And, on top of the amazing food, the servers are all knowledgeable and very friendly. Will absolutely be coming back here and certainly recommend for a special occasion. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

My wife and I went to Suraya back in March. We loved it. Had heard positive things about the resto so we decided to go. Everybody was super friendly and thought the little shopping shelves were really cute. We ordered a bunch of plates as you can see. Truly enjoyed the showcase of flavors on display here.

We had a birthday dinner here last week, and the experience was wonderful! Besides the fact that we weren't seated until the exact time of our reservation, we had an amazing experience! The food, the service, the ambiance were all top notch! Be sure to order the Verrine. It was divine!! We will definitely be back in the Spring/Summer for another experience!

Was in Philly for a conference and decided to try this place. They only do the tasting menu on Friday and Saturday but so worth it. Everything was so amazing and authentic in taste. For the price it is definitely a lot of food and you leave stuffed. I highly recommend this place is your in the fish town area, you will not be disappointed. Liking forward to coming back and trying this place again. Ask for Lydia, she was very attentive and made the experience so much more enjoyable.

The best restaurant in Philadelphia (period). Made even more perfect by an incredibly kind and attentive waitstaff. Absolutely everything was 5 stars. If you’re looking for incredible middle eastern flavors, Suraya is a total gem (and quite the romantic spot, too). The tasting menu (served Fridays and Saturdays) was an awesome value, and worth every penny.

Went there for brunch and sat at the Chef's Table. It was a fabulous experience. The staff is very nice and professional. The Pita along with the sampling plate of dips/sauces were to die for. Brunch drinks were so pretty and lovely. And the lamb kebab was so juicy and tender I wanted like 10 of them. Overall I was very pleased with my experience 😊

Service was phenomenal! They remade one of the dishes for us and we were stunned at how well everything was handled. Every bite was good and a savory one. The lamb was my favorite entree. The kunefe was my favorite dessert! Suraya is becoming the step above your standard fine dining. Parking is right around the corner and it's free Mon- Wed.
Suraya, we will come back!

Suraya was one of the most unique experiences we have had in Philadelphia. We went for brunch, and sat between the courtyard and main dining room with a beautiful ceiling to wall painting of the mother of the owners from Lebanon. The ambiance and atmosphere sucks you in until the food arrives. Each dish carefully crafted with unique blends of spices and ingredients that brings the best of the region in a modern enlightenment. The food is rich in texture and your tastebuds will never forget the delicious food and unique refreshing beverages such as the rose water lemonade. Highly recommend for a brunch next time you are in Philadelphia!

This was my first time at Suraya. I was very unsure as I have never had Lebanese food before. I tried to do some research so I knew what to expect. (Research didn’t help) When the food was laid out I still wasn’t sure how I was about to feel about the variety of food placed in front of us. We did the “A taste of Suraya” for $70 per person. DO NOT BE FOOLED ITS A LOT OF FOOD.
The way the flavors were married…. The beauty of how each dish was put together… The service provided with minimal disruption & courtesy…. The chatter from the patrons and the background music that played well with the crowd…. All of it was so good. This is date night worthy. It seemed like a family friendly site but if I’m honest I didn’t see any children. It was such a pleasant experience. I felt like it was a bit expensive but as of lately prices went up on everything so it’s to be expected. But I left there so happy and content. Such a great place to eat. If you can go and check it out!

What a fabulous place, atmosphere, superior service and great food all together in one place. visited with my family for Brunch, the taste menu is fantastic and the Chai Latte is probably the best I have had so far… the bread basket with different pastries is a no miss. Ensure you make advance reservations… ah and they have parking! So nothing to worry about

One of the best restaurants in Philadelphia for a reason. My husband and I came here multiple times when we were dating, both for breakfast/brunch and dinner. We have dined alone, and with friends, and with each of these experiences, the food, drinks, and service have all been amazing. The restaurant itself is beautifully appointed and the service staff are kind and attentive. There’s a reason it’s popular, so book in advance!
Aman Sharma
Exciting and sexy cocktails filled just 75% of the way to the top. Who wants them overweight anyways? Waitresses will seat you and walk away, leaving you uncomfortably sober for the first 25 minutes of your dining experience.
You will end up with cold ankles because the fireplace isn’t on and it’s 49 degrees with howling wind and rain outside but it’s all good because they don’t serve baklava.
Good table decorations.

*Outdoor dining review*
This restaurant is a hidden gem in an area I would not normally visit.
Restaurant: 5/5
Service: 4/5
Food: 5/5
Parking: There is a limited parking lot next to the restaurant, it used to be free, and then they started charging people $10 to park. Now I do not see the $10 parking on the website anymore, it MIGHT have been changed? Other than that, there's also street parking.
First off I would say before we even got to the restaurant, I had couple questions, so I emailed ahead regarding specific area we want to sit also called ahead and the person on the phone, both occasions the staffs and owners were very pleasant and helpful. To me that sets the tone of whether we even want to visit the restaurant or not.
-Restaurant -
Restaurant itself looks really nice inside and outside, since it was somewhat warm, we decided to make reservation for the "Garden" area that was semi covered and heated if needed, also it has see-through screen between each table. Which was perfect for Covid concerns. There's also open area right in the middle of the garden if you're interested. Everything's clean, the tables the utensils, nothing is sticky.
-Service-
We were 5 minutes late due to Philly traffic, so we decided to call 5 minutes before our reservation and was told it we had 15 minute window. From the moment we walked in, we were able to sit down within a minute of arrival, hostesses were very professional and courteous. As soon as we sat down our waitress came right away and explained to us about their ordering process what each items are...etc.
Why 4/5 for the service you asked? During the time we were eating, we saw a food runner dropped some food for another guest right in the pathway of the garden next to us... Instead of picking it up right away, one of the other food runner or waiter simply kicked it aside, and never came back for the clean up.
-Food-
It was pre-fix tasting menu, with the option to order extra, which we did and it did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious, our waitress made great recommendations. You get quite a lot of food for it being tasting menu, we ended up taking almost everything to go. My girlfriend's been asking me to make another reservation since our last visit.
All in all one of the better restaurant experiences I have had. We will definitely be back again to see what items they have on the menu.

Decided to try Suraya for brunch on a busy Saturday early afternoon.
Tried the bread basket, mimosa, drip coffee, and branzino.
Everything tasted exceptional, but I did leave wondering if the amount of food, etc was worth the price. Personally, I would likely only return if a friend or family particularly wanted to, but it was a fun experience.
Andy
Amazing. Excellent. One of the best brunch experiences I've ever had. Trudged through the snow for it with my best friend and it was totally worth it. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful too. It makes sense why they're one of the best restaurants in the US. Looking forward to trying their dinner sometime.
Jeffrey Hsu
The restaurant has a wonderful open layout with a spectacular open space in the back. The sunset flooded into the restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers that shared with the table. Their secret pita recipe must be unlocked!
Ordered the lamb kebab - so tender and flavorful. The cocktails are creative and tasty and the wine they paired was very good. Even took a picture to hopefully find it at the store for home use.
We were there for hours and the wait staff and management came by all night to take care of us.
Suraya was not just a meal but a culinary journey and experience!
Vanessa Cirminiello
my husband and i came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The garden atmosphere was BEAUTIFUL which alone made the experience a positive one. The food and drinks were delicious and we can’t wait to go back!
Maitland Minderjahn (Mait)
We had a great anniversary meal at Suraya. We had the chefs tasting menu for an appetizer which was A+ and really opened us up to a world of new flavors. Unfortunately we were a little let down by our entrees, the Branzino and lamb, which is why I give them 4 stars. Don’t get me wrong, the entrees were VERY GOOD, just not “best in Philly” in our opinion as we were expecting. Also, I would recommend sitting outside because we felt very cramped at the indoor tables.

My husband and I came for Dinner on Mother’s Day and all I can say is it is the best food we had. The flavors are the most delicious everything is made fresh and spiced and cooked to perfection! The presentation leaves you speechless! We loved it so much that we will be back soon. The staff is outstanding no complaints at all! Loved it!
Scott Goldstein
Suraya is Sublime and Surreal! They take dining to extraordinary heights, weaving cutting edge technique with layers of spices and flavor to create a meal you won’t soon forgot. And the kitchen and staff are harmony in motion. Worth 6 stars!
Lisett Guevara
Each appetizer, cold or hot, the entrees... everything is delicious and prepared with the best ingredients. It really is an experience that I recommend. It is worth the cost and quality, the staff is super friendly and respectful
Christina Bradley
Absolutely delicious. Was treated for my birthday and went back with a group of friends who loved it too. Great food, great service. Not the best location for parking if you don't live in the area and can walk.
Tori Owens
Amazing restaurant and service. First off, the ambiance, decor, and plants are already amazing. Second the service was great! From the hostess to the service. We had Paige T. And she was an amazing server! Myself and two friends were having brunch and the small plate was AMAZING. I had the lamb kabab and a mule to drink. All amazing! I highly recommend!
Kiran Kaur
This place deserves over 5 stars. Incredible service, food, flavors, ambience, authenticity, and everything in between! We did the tasting menu and left stuffed. Perfect for a nice celebration / night out.
Vincent Fan
The almond croissant with jam was one of the best croissants I've ever had! The brunch set was great! I chose the lamb and it was not dry at all; in fact, nicely made.
Kuldeep Patel
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Everyone in the place was extremely friendly, dishes were explained in detail and also shown how to properly eat some of them. Would definitely recommend this place

Wonderful experience at this restaurant.
This may have been one of the greatest restaurants I have ever been to. All of the food was inexplicably delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and inviting. I particularly like restaurants where you can observe the kitchen preparing your meal with passion and care. I grew up close to a Lebanese Community, and I am so glad my husband found this restaurant. They really bring to your table this exotic cuisine, you can taste their dedication. Good Job Chef and congrats to your team.
Little dissatisfied with the hostess. However, our waitresses/waiters were completely amazing.
We order: Hummus, Batata Harra, Fatteh, Kaota Kebab, Samke Harra. Dessert.

There aren’t enough positive things I can say about our experience at Suraya. All of the staff is the best of the best, it’s a beautiful & clean restaurant, and some of the most delicious and fresh food you’ll ever have. This place is the real deal. To our waitress Maggie, thank you for the unforgettable experience. You are amazing. Can’t wait to come back, as this is the fastest google review I’ve ever made!
John Musgrove
First, my wife and I want to say thank to the entire staff at Suraya, and specifically Stacy our waiter. The service was phenomenal and the attention to detail was impeccable. They treated us like family. Next, the food was so tasty and the service so fast, that it was hard to believe the quality of preparation was as high a level that I've seen. We will be back soon...there is no doubt about that. And I thank the staff again for their well birthday and anniversary wishes to my wife and me.

It's not strictly a vegetarian restaurant, but Suraya is an excellent choice for those looking for fine dining with a greener slant.
While it certainly qualifies as a Mediterranean, Suraya's Lebanese bent made things more interesting for me, though still somewhat familiar. My wife and I ate on a Sunday evening and managed to get a table due to a cancellation (otherwise we would have eaten at the lovely bar). Reservations are recommended.
We started with a few selections from the "Mezza" (appetizer) menu. The Baba Ganoush was the best I've had, with a somewhat smoky taste and some pomegranate seeds served on top. The red pepper based Muhammara was excellent, and I have to agree with my wife that the Taboulé was also great, even though I loathe anything with cucumber normally.
We also had a plate of the Samke Nayyeh, which is a wonderful raw yellowtail fish dish. For me, though, the Fatteh was the highlight. I have limited tolerance for yogurt, but this dish with chickpeas, eggplant, and nuts with crisp strips of pita was to. die. for. Utterly amazing - even with yogurt.
We ordered a single dish from the Mashawi (roasted) menu: Fatar Meshwi. It is a dish of mushrooms cooked with shawarma spices. It was nice, but unnecessary because of the number of small plates we had ordered. Additionally, it took a fairly long time to arrive since it was cooked, and we were basically done eating by the time it arrived.
We didn't have room for dessert. We'll try that next time, and there will most certainly be a next time. It was an expensive meal, to be sure, but the staff was absolutely lovely, just like the setting, and the food is worth every penny.

You walk off the street in Fishtown and are transported to the middle east. The ambiance of this restaurant is great. The food is great. They also have arak, a middle eastern aperitif. The pita is made fresh in house and the dips are great! We had kebabs, the beef and lamb, for our main. They were both great. I would highly recommend saving room for the knafeh dessert. It is unique and you don't see it many places. It's very good.
Saru Markose
Amazing modern Lebanese cuisine! Me and my husband went there for dinner. We ordered Hummous, Baba Ganoush, Muhammara and Hata Baratta to try initially. They were all pretty good. Unlimited pita bread came with it which was hot and fresh. Baba Ganoush had a smoky flavor which was different. Some people may like it but we weren't too fond of it and rather like the authentic taste of it. Then we ordered the Kafta Kebab and Halabi Kebab which both came with a side of charred onions and peppers. They both were delicious with kafta being our favorite! We also ordered an extra side of turmeric rice to pair with the kebabs. Two of us couldn't finish it all and definitely had a few left overs which tasted delicious the next day. I definitely recommend Suraya to be tried at least once!

We could not get a dinner reservation at Suraya when we visited Philadelphia. Luckily we walked in on a busy Sunday afternoon and was able to grab two bar seats for brunch.
Suraya is a beautiful decorated restaurant with open kitchen and a cafe full of gorgeous baked goods when you walked in. There is a garden at the back of the restaurant.
We had the set brunch menu. First came a plate of hummus, baba ganoush, labneh, muhammara and taboule with fresh baked pita bread in a paper bag. Our favorite appetizer was the muhammara, very tasty roasted red pepper with walnut.
My main was grilled prawns with cilantro sauce that was delicious. Best was the saffron basmati rice. Surprisingly my husband’s dish of Halabi Kebab of ground lamb was kind of bland but we enjoyed the roasted peppers and onions that came with it.
By the time we finished our brunch, most of the gorgeous baked goods at the cafe were gone. We picked a Meyer Lemon tart was light and refreshing.
Suraya was a must when you visit Fishtown in Philadelphia.

Terrific restaurant. A place you want to take people if you need to make their staying in Philly unforgettable. Everything is fresh, well served, well measure size-wise. Good wine from Lebanon. I’ll definitely be back. The ambiance is good too.
Michele Gargiulo
Awesome spread of food here. Their outdoor area was super nice. I loved loved loved the prawns. Seriously delicious food. The service was attentive and wonderful. Couldn’t have been better!

What a delightful dining experience! The staff and kitchen were very efficient and in sync…you could tell these folks had their machine well oiled. They still managed to make the experience special. The food was absolutely delicious…and the portions were very good for the price. This would be a great date night or dinner with friends that had a more adventurous palate!
Moustafa Elakel
Phenomenal food We ordered the hummus, tabbouleh, baba ganoush, Samke Harra, chicken and the two desserts. Everything was amazing. It was a new burst of flavor, texture and temperature with every dish we ate. The service is great, each course of the dinner was checked on by our waitress and the waters were always full, One of the best Lebanese restaurants in PA The food is so amazing and flavorful. I recommend trying some of everything on the menu.

The easiest 5-star review you can give. Excellent service, drinks, food, and atmosphere.
The place is beautiful; we got a seat on the covered patio right near the fireplace. Our waiter was very knowledgable and provided his suggestions for appetizers. The cauliflower and baba ganoush were out of this world. Both bursting with flavor, on top of their homemade pita bread.
The kawarma (slow roasted lamb) was extremely tender and the branzino filet my friend got was also excellent. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Suraya should be on top of anyone's Philly food bucket list.
Anas Shebli
We went on Saturday, fixed $75 meal. For the appetizers we ordered the Kibbeh Nayyeh(raw lamb) my fav, hummus, baba ganoush(egg plant dip), Fatteh(tahini/nuts), and Labaneh(yogurt dip). For the entrée we got the Branzino fish and the Kawarma(slow roasted lamb). Both were absolutely delicious. For dessert, we ate the Kanafeh(cheese), and Banana/date/walnut-Varine(ice cream). Everything was good and fresh, the atmosphere was classy.
R k
Most delicious food I've ever had. Slow roasted lamb and fish were out of the world. I want to try each and every dish on the menu that's how wonderful the dishes were. Definitely recommend
Cori McClelland
I could not possibly recommend this restaurant more! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest hosts, seated in the gorgeous room in the back that will lead you into their garden seating, and then greeted by our fantastic server (who’s name I am unfortunately blanking on. Kind man, glasses, brown hair). The food was unbelievable — we started with baba ganoush (sp?) and a roasted red pepper dip. Then came the stuffed grape leaves. All to die for. The entrees though were what stole the show. We went with our servers recommendations of the slow roasted lamb and branzino, and they were hands down the best that we’ve ever had. I’m going to think about that lamb for weeks! We were constantly attended to and left feeling joyous and satisfied. This is our new date night staple!
Arnav Bose
Great food and great ambiance. We started off with a tuna appetizer(samke nayyeh), spicy potato(batatta harra) and cocktails. Both cocktails were great - song of the rain and golden belt.
For entree we had halibut kebabs(abu sayf) and ground lamb kebabs(halabi kebab). Soft, tender, juicy and both preparations had an authentic aroma.
Had apples and ashta for dessert. Special thanks to our server Samantha for she was kind enough to lit a candle alongside the dessert to make our anniversary special.
Chirag
Great place for celebration or occasion. Reservations are a must if you have a bigger group. Parking is very difficult to find in this area. The food itself is amazing and authentic. Especially the appetizers are delicious. The back patio garden is very nice.
Dan DuPraw (DanLikesToEat)
We had such a great experience last night with the tasting menu! So many amazing things to try and everything was so elegant. Incredible food, elegant atmosphere and superb service. Highly recommend!
Christopher Nötzel
Went for a Sunday brunch with a friend. The space is elegant and beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious! Sunday’s you can only do prix fixe brunch, which came out to 78$ pP including two beverages per person, tax and tip. So definitely not cheap, but it was worth splurging, and we took plenty of leftovers back home. They even offered plenty of extra pita to take home so we can make use of the leftovers the right way.
Drew Fagin
one of the best meals I’ve had in Philly. loved the ambiance and being able to watch the chefs at work. If I worked here I would eat so much pita. The branzino and tuna appetizer were too of my favorites.
Nil Dhanani
A vegetarian perspective…I love ME food, and thus have tried many places. I went here after few recommendations and fact it’s always difficult to get in. The ambiance and staff is amazing. The food is where they fall short. It’s good but not great for the hype and price they have listed. I’ve had far better ME food in the city as well around US, which are similar price point but are exceptional. Nothing here was memorable in taste, many preparations were bit too far out in term of charred ness or salt. Just wasn’t an iconic visit that I had expected from their busy reservation schedule everyday. The hummus wasn’t even something I can say kicked out of the park.
Mohit Vatsa
We got the last minute reservation and we’re on to drive from Princeton on a weekday. They place has its own parking lot which is free from Monday to Wednesday and make it convenient. Overall it’s a big place and a really nice ambiance. We loved the drinks with appetizers. Mains were great and just about the right size. Flavors were fantastic. I will definitely come back.
Jennifer “Jen” Maltba
If asked the best dinner in Philly, you may get folks saying Zahav or Laser Wolf… but we’d tell you those are great but Suraya’s is fantastic! The ‘Taste of Suraya’ is the perfect option to have a wide variety (and be oh so full!). You MUST order the slow roasted lamb!! The staff are so accommodating at packing up leftovers, so don’t feel you have to eat everything (and the leftovers are fabbb).
Sonymir Pedrosa
This restaurant NEVER disappoints. I never regret driving from NY just to have dinner here. Great service and phenomenal food every single time!

One of the best restaurants in the city - the food is delicious. Great selection of cocktails. Service is excellent. Order anything on the menu. Perfect for special occasions.

Our meal was delicious! Really unique Lebanese place with great ambiance in the summers.
We had a lot to eat - for apps, baba ganoush, taboulé, arnabeet mekle, fatteh. Everything was fantastic, especially the cauliflower (SO crispy and flavorful)! I would not order the fatteh again only because I wasn’t a huge fan of all the flavors and nuts - it just seemed confusing to me, but was told this is one of the most popular apps so you should try! Babaganoush and taboule were both very tasty, and the PITA WAS AMAZING! We ran out of spreads for pita but I ate the whole thing because it was so good.
Entrees - I ate the samke harre (branzino) and my husband had the kawarma. Both were just phenomenal - the fish skin was crispy and the sauce was bangin, and his lamb was SUPER tender and the yogurt sauce was amazing in cutting the fattier piece of meat. I will dream about this meal.
For dessert we ate the tehina and date ice cream which was tasty - the date in the caramel brought an interesting sour note to the ice cream and the chocolate crunchies were amazing.
Overall had a GREAT meal and will absolutely be going back again and again.
Paris Sithi
Best brunch in Fishtown! It will start off with hummus set then you can choose the entree dish. I have tried Samke Harra (branzino filet) and Halabi Kebab (lamb). Both are delicious!!! Wine by the glass is also great.
Alisa Behari
One of the best restaurants in Philadelphia! We have come for dinner and most recently for brunch. The brunch menu is $37 per person and comes with 5 appetizers for the table and a main course per person. All of the appetizers were on point, none missing flavor. My personal favorite dips include the hummous, baba ganoush and labneh but all 5 were delicious and accompanied well with freshly made pita. For entrees we ordered prawns, shish taouk, halabi kebab and samke harra. These meals came with either freshly charred vegetables or rice, all delicious. For pastries the chocolate croissant and olive oil cake were a must. And lastly; my personal favorite non alcoholic drink would be the clementine soda. 10/10 recommend this restaurant looking for flavorful, well prepared cuisine in a beautiful restaurant.

An unforgettable experience. I have been to Suraya few times and never been disappointed. Food is delicious and authentic, beautiful ambience and excellent service makes everything taste better.
I do recommend tasting menu if it's your first time but it's also lot of food so make sure if you have the appetite. Some of my recommendations would be Zatar, Labneh, Kafta kebab, Djej Meshwi, Abu Sauf and Khanafa.
I recommend getting reservations well in advance as this place is full even on weekdays. We can't wait to come back again.

I might be biased because Middle Eastern/Levantine cuisine is amongst my favorites, but Suraya definitely punches above their weight. I ordered the Taste of Suraya menu, which included so much food for a very reasonable price. The muhammara dip was so flavorful, and the lemon verbena and blueberry verrine dessert was a showstopper.
Service was extremely attentive and friendly! My server was thoughtful enough to pack an extra bag of pita since I had leftover dips.

Suraya never disappoints, favorite spot to stop by every time I’m in Philly everything is just done beautifully and always an amazing taste.
Please do your self a favor and try the chai latte, it’s just heaven!

ANYTHING you order is fantastic. We did the $70 a person three course shared menu and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere. Delicious meals. Will be back for sure.

Excellent restaurant, authentic Lebanese flavors. All the starters are superb, specially baba ganoush and muhamara. I would highly recommend it for a couples.

A must visit!
We were seated in the garden which was so quaint and private. We felt like we were all by ourselves. It was drizzling a little bit the awnings covered us and the heat lamps took the humidity out of the air around us.
We all got cocktails and each were unique. I preferred the Golden Belt which had beautiful earthy notes.
We enjoyed the tasting menu which included most of the mezzas. At our table we thought that the lamb tartare was the best, followed by the baba ganoush and muhammara.
The entrees were delicious! The lamb is the best!
We tried the arak and it was delicious and quite an experience. I can’t wait to come back!!
Nisha
Astoundingly good food, and nice atmosphere! Excellent and friendly service. Went there for brunch on a Saturday. All of the starters for the table were great. The pita bread by itself was even good. The best starter was the muhammara, a sort of roasted red pepper spread with pomegranate and walnuts. The tabbouleh also was very fresh.
For the table, we had the fatar meshwi (mushroom dish), halabi kebab (lamb), and samke harra (branzino/fish). All three were incredibly delicious, but the samke harra was the best. The only thing that was just okay was a side of turmeric rice that came with the dishes.
For drinks, the mimosa was light and delicious, and I could taste the apricot. The bloody mary was good as well, but actually rather strong. The latte was just alright. The Lebanese chai latte was good too, but not the best. However, it did have some rosewater in it with rose petals on top, which gave it a nice touch and lovely presentation.
Overall, a truly delicious place. I will definitely return when I am in Philly again.

We stopped in for a quick bite and drink. The service and attention the bartender provided was excellent, and the atmosphere, drinks and menu makes this place perfect for brunch.

I have been twice now. The food is amazing. I was sad to miss out on trying the green cardamom cake as it was sold out. Better luck next time.

Suraya is amazing. Everything from food, drinks, to service was amazing. Definitely make reservations for their Garden. Best seating in restaurant.
Year later update -
I had to visit Suraya again and it is still great and food is ever better. I cannot do more then one review as per google rules, so I will be adding more photos. Enjoy.

Amazing brunch with impeccable service. So glad that we were able to get a reservation during our visit from NYC. The mezze will blow your mind.
Sandra Cuenca
Our brunch was great, the food is delicious and our server William was so nice and friendly and thank you so much for your kindness... I highly recommend this place..!!

I'm literally mad at all other food! This place was amazing. The service was top notch as well! Highly recommend!!!

We decided on Suraya for a last minute dinner date so there were no available tables. The hostess was welcoming and invited us to sit at the bar. The bartender was friendly and personable and made me a drink off the menu since I didn’t care for any of the drink combinations. We ordered the yellowtail and the potatoes as appetizers. The yellowtail was amazing. The potatoes were good but nothing overly exciting. Our entrees were the branzino and lamb dishes. Both were cooked well and were good although it did take a little while for them to come out. The portion of the lamb wasn’t huge but it was definitely enough. I was too hungry to take photos of the entrees. I’d be willing to revisit to try some other menu items. Our bill was $150 with two apps/2 entrees/ 1 cocktail/ tip. This is a good restaurant for a date night or group outing.

Omg! This place was delish and super cute decor not to mention the staff was very attentive and on point...the desssert was heavenly. I really loved it all! ❤️ you must go here if you havent!!!!

Wow.
I honestly kept hearing great things and was still blown away. Fridays and Saturdays they set it up where it's basically pre fixe ish menu.
I was absolutely blown away with the quantity of food. All the appetizers were delightful the pita was delicious I kept hogging the bags. Cocktails and drinks were spot on.
The lamb oh my goodness. I eat vegetarian virtually every single day which this place is a phenomenal choice for and primarily why we went. For some reason that day i decided to cheat and wow oh wow that was the best lamb I've EVER had. Yes I've overpayed for lamb chops but this spiced lamb wow.
No complaints everyone in my party was over the moon. Excellent excellent service from a very friendly and attentive staff.

Very impressed with this restaurant, all dishes were amazing with fast friendly service.
Restaurant has a beautiful ambiance.

Food was unbelievably delicious only to be topped off by an attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. Ambiance brings you to a foreign land.
Highly recommend

everything was truly excellent. I wish we knew how filling the mezze was, we would’ve saved ourselves more room for the entrees and took dessert to go!
Benswing Rich (Ben Rich - Electric Biker)
Truly a delightful experience dining here! Literally every aspect of the experience was high quality.
Entering the restaurant you see a small market area with a unique and beautiful light feature in the ceiling and hand-painted dishware on the shelves.
The hostess greeted us quickly and warmly and then William our server took care of us like we were old friends. He was incredible the entire evening giving spot-on recommendations, giving us his full attention and speaking with kindness and clear full knowledge of the entire menu.
The food was bursting with many flavors and everything that touched our tongues was a journey through a diverse forest of flavors, herbs, and spices.
I tried the Lebanese beverage arak for the first time and enjoyed it very much, I love licorice!
The next time I visit Philly, I will be coming back here!
Thank you for a truly lovely dining experience.

Did not know what to expect. Suraya has fabulous people and food. We enjoyed a 70th birthday party and we were treated like VIPs the whole night. Thank you Suraya!

Best middle eastern restaurant ever
All dishes , drinks , entrees , desserts were 10/10
Would come back definitely
Try the tasting menu!

I ate some of the best food of my life the night I was at Suraya celebrating my birthday. The hot cauliflower mezze was possibly the best part, WOW. The toasted hazelnuts and smoky sauce with the crispy cauliflower, I would highly recommend to everyone going. I also got the octopus entree and boy do they know how to cook octopus never have I had it so tender, it was perfect. Then for desert, my favorite cheese wrapped in buttery crispy pastry doused in rose syrup. I had this years ago and requested it for my desert, even though it was not on the tasting menu, and it lived up to and surpassed my expectations from memory. Another plus of Suraya is that they have incredible non alcoholic drinks. Complex flavors and fun glasses. If you don't drink but want to have something special this is the place to go. I had a clementine ginger beer and orange blossom drink in a mule mug, at least that what I think I had. Over all worth the price and feels special for any special occasion, or can make any occasion special.

We went here to celebrate my 30th birthday with Brunch and it was good food! The appetizer sharing they had was great and the Lebanese chai latte was the best chai latte I’ve had!
Eliza McNair
Can I just say... WOW. I came in for brunch with a friend who had found Suraya searching for the best brunch spots in Philly, and it did not disappoint at all. The atmosphere is lovely. We sat at the chef's table, and had a great time matching the dishes being constructed in the kitchen in front of us up with the Taste of Suraya brunch menu. The shared plate of starters was delicious - if I had to pick favorites, I'd say the Hummous and the Muhammara... but all five were delicious. I had my portion of the starters with some of the best freshly baked Pita I've ever had (that we could see rising in the bread oven just inside the kitchen!), and my friend had hers on lettuce.
While I knew I might be too full for the main course, I couldn't resist ordering an Almond Croissant (with rhubarb raspberry jam... YUM!) from the pastry menu after I saw them in the pastry case when we walked in. The almonds were light and crunchy, and the bottom of the scone was soft and just a little bit gooey with jam, I think. I could have stopped my brunch then and there and been satisfied. THEN. Then. The main courses came out.
I had a Lebanese Omelette - following a helpful recommendation from our waiter, who let me know the Ful Mudammas was a bit warm for a 90 degree+ day (the two vegetarian choices I was torn between), and the flavors were so good. It was just a bit sweet, from the cheese and a bit of cinnamon, topped with fresh herbs. I could only finish about half, after the rest of my meal, but I can't bring myself to regret a single bite. This was an incredibly memorable brunch, and I can't wait to return next time I'm in Philly! (Pictured: the chai and coffee that we ordered).

Fantastic experience dining at Suraya for the first time. The aesthetic of the inside dining area was amazing and the service was unmatched. Every server and bartender was extremely friendly and helpful with food and drink recommendations. We ordered the tasting menu with the yellowtail, cauliflower, kebab and slow roasted lamb as our additions. I am already excited to go back!

We had a reservation for Thursday evening at 7:45, yet were not seated until well after 8. Despite this, our hosted approached us with smiles each time and no apology. This was patronizing. It took a long time to finally get our meal. It was well after 9. Our wait staff was excellent. Without making a whole lot of apologies, they simply brought us appetizers and free drinks, waiting on us hand and foot until our meal was served. All were happy with the quality of the food. Thank you for excellent food and excellent service. Please honor your reservation commitments and work on the disposition of your hosting staff.
Samantha Winterburn
What a fantastic experience. An amazing restaurant for a special event like a birthday or anniversary. Did the tasting menu which was sooo much food. Everything was so delicious and the staff was welcoming and kind. Can’t wait to come back and will definitely be recommending it to everyone!
John DePasquale
Everything was amazing. Up there on my list if top meals. I went with my wife snd another couple and everyone was blown away.
Update: just went back and everything was still awesome. We got the tasting menus and loved very dish. Great service.

The stars aligned and we ended up at this restaurant.
We found out that's it's not halal on entrance so we went ahead and ordered the 3 seafood entrees on the menu and they were freaking good! We loved every morsel.
Only teeny thing, I wish, there was a bigger portion of turmeric rice.
Definitely saving this place for our next visit to Philly.
Junie B.
The space is stunning, it's a whole world in itself. They've done a beautiful job with everything from the decor, the staff and of course the food. Our meal was full of bright and bold flavor profiles, a variety of fun textures and everything was true perfection. Our waiter Hunter was so pleasant and everyone we spoke to was lovely. I know we'll be back again and again. Don't miss this place, it is truly a work of art.
Lauren Bacigalupi
very nice staff. food was good but very small lunch portions for sharing dishes. we ordered a little bit of everything off the menu and each item was tasty. was put off my the additional 3% added to check for the kitchen staff. not that i don’t think they deserve compensation but the owners should be paying them and not forcing a percentage on the consumer. price your food so you can pay them and leave it at that. it was just weird.
Dr. Hamed Al-Hussaini
Authentic high quality Arabic food in a beautifully designed space with an open kitchen concept. The service was probably the most attentive I've had in a while and the place is spotless. They have a beautiful garden space that reminded me of home. I'm thoroughly impressed. They also offer a premium selection of cultural souvenirs that I thought was cool.

Love it !!! Delicious desserts and best hummus I ever had. Especially Suraya Muhammara is awesome. Their pita bread is gem. Anyone who visits this place will have best experience of Lebanese cuisine. Their desserts at the end make your food experience more special. Can’t wait to visit this place again.
Amanda G
I love Lebanese food, truly. This place is absolutely stunning inside, and yes it's authentic Lebanese food, but to me it is NOT worth the price. There are places equally as tasty in other places that are far less expensive. I get it - it's an experience, and a vibe, but I really felt like I overpaid for what I received. Staff was great and quality was there, the price is my main gripe.
Sravani M
Great tasting menu. The food is fantastic and they have vegetarian options. Best part was, we were too full and they let us pack the left overs. The desserts are different and might not be everyone cup of tea. The staff was really friendly too and the service was 5 star.
kelly changliang
We eats the highlights from Suraya & Beddia. definitely recommend getting mezze in the garden at Suraya.

Excellent restaurant. Super awesome customer service. The food was very unique and very delicious. If anyone is looking for something new and different. Highly recommended. I am sure you will find something you’ll fall in love with. Mine was the pistachio crullers :)

We had our Christmas party here. Incredible! The area was in front and surprisingly quiet even though the restaurant was filled. The food is perfect in every sense, unique, flavorful, not filling. They brought out a lot of food and were over to clean, refresh drinks, etc as needed. This is my boss's favorite restaurant and I can see why
Jim Gallagher
Great experience. This kind of food is not my norm. The waitress was very helpful with suggestions.
It was lunchtime, and they were packed. But, there wasn't too much of a delay getting our food.
There were 3 of us. We shared everything family style.
Thaddeus Worthington-Kirsch
Each dish was phenomenal, but unique enough to merit trying everything. Cocktails were excellent and covered a wide variety of tastes. Service was excellent, wait staff was prompt and friendly. Restaurant was sectioned off well so as not to feel crowded, and noise dampening meant you could hear eachother talk easily, but aren't bothered by other tables.

My partner and I grabbed dinner here on suggestion of a friend who used to live in Fishtown. We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the open kitchen aspect. The vibe was laid back. I would suggest making a reservation as it fills up quickly after opening at 5. Definitely will be back when we're in Philly again.
Vlad Bezden
The food was excellent! One of the best Mediterranian food I have had in a long time. I was in Israel and ate food for two weeks. What I had in Suraya restaurant was much better.
Ebrar Ercilasun
I normally always take the time to take pictures of what I eat whenever i dine out and include them in my reviews however the food here was SO good that i forgot and didn’t get a chance to take any pictures because our plates were cleared super fast!
We originally had reservations for the garden and due to a thunder storm we didn’t get to experience dining there. Regardless we still had a very good experience indoors. The service was also phenomenal. Lastly The dessert was delicious! Thankfully I was able to capture a photo of the Kanafeh :)

When we moved to the area people kept asking us if we had been to Suraya yet. This weekend we finally went and now we know why our friends brought it up so many times. This was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The ambiance, the extremely attentive and professional staff, and last but not least the impeccable flavor and presentation of the food made for a visit we want to repeat over and over. Can't wait to go back!
Zohaib Ghatala
I heard a lot about this place and how difficult it is to get a reservation. We had to reserve a table one month in advance. It was worth the wait.
We did their food tasting menu. The food was great. Staff was very professional, friendly and courteous. Lovely ambience.
There is a dedicated parking for Suraya customers.

Amazing food; flavours and texture were divine.
They should consider: increasing light in dining room and bathroom (too dark, reading menu and seeing myself clearly in the bathroom mirror were a challenge. Finding ways to lower the dining room volume, parts of conversations are missed if not leaning in.
Food: they should consider skipping the pomegranate in the mezza. I prefer meals savoury, and my desserts sweet. Consider adding a chocolate dish to the dessert menu, as someone who doesn’t like walnuts/cinnamon/dates, the charred banana dish was unpalatable.

Great chocolate halva croissant. Kouign Amann was OK. Lebanese chai latte was great as usual. Almond rhubarb croissant was good. Cute cups to purchase.

Delicious food!! Great cocktails and pleasant ambience.

Absolutely adore Suraya!!!! My friend and I love visiting every year and getting the brunch! I especially recommend the lamb and the fish, although I'm sure everything is equally phenomenal! Their orange juice is also such a wonderful refreshing treat! Highly recommend visiting for a nice brunch!
Kevin Boswick
This has been one of my favorite places in Philly. Hands down the best place in Fishtown. It is not only great food, but a fun experience. We did their tasting menu on the weekend and it was well worth the price. The constant serving of fresh, hot pitas was the perfect compliment to amazing dishes.
Valinciea
Food was Amazing! It’s so Beautiful and clean. Best customer service.
Raven J.
I accidentally found this restaurant on Google Maps when I was traveling in Philly. The pastries are amazing, and interior is gorgeous. If I were a local, this could have been my all-time favorite place! Not to mention Lebanese food is always delicious.
Best almond pistachio croissant I’ve ever had!!!
Tammy Mann
We’re new to Philly and we’ve been exploring all the “best” rated restaurants. There are many worth visiting but Suraya continues to shine as our top choice.
If you are only in town for a quick stop sit at the bar. The bartender will recommend some faves - hopefully he will mention the cauliflower, trust me you will love it!
Drew Meyers
Everything my wife and I tried was delicious. We had dinner for our anniversary and the weekend Taste of Suraya was excellent. The service was outstanding and we both appreciated the knowledgeable waitstaff who generously offered explanations of the menu and recommendations.
The Kawarma was the most succulent lamb I’ve ever eaten. The hummus and labneh were both smooth, flavorful & outstanding. Wonderful meal & a great experience.
Fatima A
Dreamy Lebanese food. Superb, impeccable service. The pics say it all.
Etoile Frank
I didn't think it possible to like a restaurant as much as I do this place. Every time I have been here every single menu item is phenomenal, and the staff are always friendly without being overbearing. The atmosphere is chic but relaxed enough to never feel stuffy. I can't recommend Suraya highly enough, and you'll be doing yourself a favor by paying them a visit.
Wedge Wegman
The food here was some of the most creative dishes I've ever had! Loads for my vegetarian partner to choose from as well. Great staff, all very friendly and helpful with choices. Delicious cocktails too!!
Jill Patel
Love their lebanese chai with oat milk paired with their almond croissant. SO GOOD
Avik Roy
Memorable experience as always. It was my wife's milestone birthday. A surprise with kids and grandkid calling in from overseas. So I requested a quieter table. We got one. Then a surprise gift has to be snuck in during torrential rain and the staff and management went out of their way to make it a success. And did I mention that the food and beverages were out of this world?
Andrew Smith
A genuinely exceptional restaurant for both food and service. The food was delicious and the variety was great. Well recommended.
Aditya Malik
The restaurant atmosphere and area is beautiful and very large, inside has a small shop of local things and a bar. The brunch menu was delicious and comes with 5 items and naan. However if the group is large it might be harder to split, 4 ppl seems to be ideal! The entrees were unique and delicious, but the shared plates seemed to taste better. The service was top notch!
TL J
Recent visit to try the menu for a upcoming event was so delightful! A HUGE thankyou to Brittany for making us feel so welcomed, inspired and taken care of during our tasting 'dinner'. You went above and beyond and so grateful for everything 💗 looking forward to having our party at Suraya! …
Gene Alligood
Our second time back since grand opening and was a wonderful night to celebrate visiting our kids and the whole dining experience was perfect; server was so friendly and helpful, dining atmosphere was warm and cozy, and food was over the top. We all thoroughly enjoyed our Holiday celebration with family and friends!!
Laurens Geffert
AMAZING! Came here on a recommendation for a weekend brunch. The food and the atmosphere completely blew us away! At $35 it is insane value for money. Outside seating in the back yard is tranquil, spacious, and comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly, even having a nice chat with us. The mezze was one of the best I have had, better than most you can get in the actual Middle East. I'd recommend adding a Za'atar Manoushe as well. For our mains, we had Shish Taouk and Samke Harra, of which I liked the Shish Taouk better. Cruller and Lebanese Chai Latte made for the perfect dessert. Overall a great experience, can't wait to come back for dinner!
Akshay Kirtikar
Blown away by the food and experience on the garden patio at this place. Tables were spread out far enough in the space amongst shrubs and trees that it felt like a private courtyard experience. The food was amazing, flavorful, distinct from every other dish and we must have gotten at least a dozen different items. The covid-ordering experience made it slightly awkward (wish they had just verbally taken our order since we had to individually order tasting menus on one phone) but otherwise nothing but great things to say about Suraya.
Jonathan Wong
Fantastic food, they did a great job given current covid restrictions, reservations taken, temperature checked, water pitcher was left on the table and there was order from your phone capabilities! All the staff wore masks the entire time.
We ordered the tasting menu and have no regrets! Lots of food, pita bread when warm is to die for! Wonderful leftovers of the mezas! Would definitely return!
The one downside was tip had to be determined prior to service, our waitress was fantastic and we would have done even more in hindsight!
Jackie Cardenales
Went there for my birthday. Had never tried Lebanese food and I was pleasantly pleased that the food was delicious. The staff was very good and welcoming. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated. The overall experience was amazing I will tell everyone about it.
Sau Cheung
Best meal I had in 2022. We had the $70 dollar tasting menu. The dips and mezze were some of the best food I've ever had in my life. It was so good that I overlooked disappointly average lamb and fish entrees. Next time I go back, I will order a few more mezze and skip the entrees.
Decor was nice...service met expectations for this price range.
Overall 5
Food: 5
Value: 4
Service: 4
Misc: 5

Visiting from out of town. Went here for brunch with my son and his wife who currently live in Philly. It was a wonderful experience. The food is great and the staff/owner/management are even better. Highly recommend.
Dylan Madisetti
Loved it. Warm pita, great staff, and authentic taste.
Went with my partner and the tasting menu was a little bit too much for the both of us, but we took home a box!
Mike Rizzo
We chose Suraya for our 2-year anniversary and are glad we did. Opted for the chef's counter which was a great move as I enjoy watching the kitchen in action.
Obviously, we went with the Taste of Suraya so we can try everything on the menu. You get 5 of the most loved Mezzas and then each person gets to pick one of their own. Trust me, pace yourself, it's a marathon and not a sprint. I know from experience as a certain person I know was unable to enjoy her entree solely based on the amazing Labneh and Hummus.
All of the mezzas as excellent. You then each get to choose one of the Mashawi (loosely translated to a meat or veggie dish)I went with the new menu option of Caledonian Shrimps and am so glad I did. I usually go with shawarma or some kabob but this was a good change for me. Nothing like sucking the head of the shrimp to get all the good flavor out of it. The missus went with the Kawarma (slow-roasted Lamb) and it was so flavorful. I had a bite and she enjoyed it for lunch the next day. I mean we had to save room for the Kaneffa. Always a treat to end the night.
Good cocktails and an excellent server led to a great evening out. Bonus for free parking in the back.

Another wonderful meal at Suraya.
Now that COVID has waned, we're traveling again and visiting relatives around Philadelphia was high on our list, and of course we needed to eat at Suraya again. They did not disappoint us.
Recently, I've been disappointed with choices I make from menus I don't completely understand. To avoid that I asked the waitress what dishes she felt would the kitchen be truly proud of - what was distinctive to this place. She blossomed to give an answer: Besides the Baba Gnash and the Hummus, she felt the Samke Nayyeh (Yellow Fin Tuna) was great and the Kawarma (Slow Roasted Lamb) was a specialty of the house. Both were outstanding. Similarly, I wanted a good cocktail, but too many of late have been sweet and fruity. Asking what I liked, we settled on the Golden Belt - she said it was 'Scotch Forward'. Absolutely true and delightful.
I must say the waitress really knew the food and drinks - she must be a veteran of the place. We were there at 5:30 and the restaurant was fully busy. A good sign that all the staff were in place. So may establishments haven't been able to retain or replace staff and the service can suffer. Not at Suraya.
Perhaps the final compliment was from our daughter - very demanding in her praise - 'Dad, let's make sure that Suraya is always part of our time in Philadelphia'.

Atmosphere =A+
Food = A+
Service = A+
I have absolutely no complaints about this restaurant. Its everything you'd want in a dining experience. I will definitely be back.
Mark Kline
Booked a dinner reservation using the Resy app and my new AMEX card. The service and food were both excellent. We opted for the $70pp menu. All of the choices that our server suggested were fantastic. I’m a big big fan of the vegetable Mesi dishes so I was pretty full by the time the mains came. The only complaint was the portion size on the mains. One of our group thought (for the price) the portions were small.
Sheba Legend
I came from NYC to have dinner with a friend. The food was good but, whoever made the red sauce, missed the target. I couldn't help being concerned about the fact that the servers began describing the dishes being served to my table, while holding our food in the sneeze area every single time. It was too dark to see if anything was falling out of their mouth and into the food being served. This happened twice at the table, and once when I sent leftovers to be doggy-bagged. That time the server stopped to have a conversation with another server with my plate of leftovers (in the sneeze area) between them. The atmosphere in the room began about 5:45pm for us and was light and relaxed. By the time we left the room was dark and the music was LOUD.
If I do return, I'll do a lunch or brunch.... mmmmaybe.
Kartik Reddy
5/5 We waited a month for our reservation but, it was well and truly worth the wait. We had several dips served at the start of our meal and all of them were amazing. The baba ganoush was the best we’ve ever had. Normally I’m not a fan but this was so soft and creamy. The hummus was out of this world as well.
Mike Donovan
Very rushed. Just kept shoving plates of food onto the tiny table even though we weren’t done with the apps before the main. Also didn’t appreciate the sneaky 3% add on for kitchen staff salary and benefits. It ended up being a meal that cost $125 pp. You need to evaluate your business as a whole if can’t support your staff on that.
Eden Harris
Delicious food. Everything about it was really beautiful too! Vegetarian options were super tasty. We sat at the bar and it was nice there as well
Lucy Hendricks
Family Style meals. Food is deliciously fresh. Greek style all the way. Service is with style. I loved the special attention to pleasing all 4 of us . Great time, awesome food. Will def visit again. 🔜
Rachael Hollahan
The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned. Everything was light and aromatic and had lots of citrus, and the smokey flavor from cooking it over the wood fire was amazing . The atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was amazing 👏
Kristine Stroad Moore
Beautiful atmosphere and excellent, authentic Lebanese food BUT I was shocked that they would have an ISRAELI product on the menu (arak - and the first one listed!)! when Israel is strealing the water, the oil, the good farmland in Lebanon- this would NEVER be tolerated there. I'm not sure i will go back because of that.
D V
Went here for brunch and they were able to accommodate with vegan options. Of the “on the side” dishes, the baba ghanoush, the taboule, and the hummus are vegan. For the entrees, they were able to make the ful mudammas vegan and the eggplant dish is already vegan. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to try the chai because it had dairy in it already, but the other drinks were refreshing! Had a great time and enjoyed the food!
Brittany Lombardo
My favorite restaurant in fishtown! The drinks are amazing, atmosphere is perfect and service is 5 star! ...AND THE FOOD!! The best..I always get the taste of suraya with the kawarma (slow braised lamb...it literally melts in your mouth)! SO GOOD!!
nelly
First time at this place. What can i say, high end service, presentation and food. The servant took great care of us, never had to ask for a refill etc. since it was our first time here, we went with $59.99 options which included about 8 mesas/appetizers, two Dinner plates and two deserts. We loved everything, especially the fresh pitas. The sweets were a bit too sweet for us but at that point we couldn’t finish them anyways. The drinks were on point too. They also have items for sale, in the lobby of the restaurant. Highly recommend, and most likely will be back soon.
Fi Patel
Delicious Lebanese food! My husband & I shared two appetizers (hummus, & labneh) and lamb kebabs. Make reservations ahead. Loved sitting at the chefs counter!
Chris Curtis
First time in a Lebanese restaurant and safe to say next time I'm in town I will be going back
Michelle Jenkins
The staff were so kind and thoughtful. They explained the dishes well and also made suggestions. Alex ,our waiter was so great, she went above and beyond to help us with our first experience here. The food, the amount of flavors pouring from each dish is undeniably out of this world. Fresh piping hot pita, 7 kinds of hummus, delicious drinks..I could go on
Lisa
I took a friend from North Jersey to Suraya. It was my first time visiting the restaurant in about a year. They were only serving the tasting menu but I was thrilled because that’s my favorite. We were seated at a romantic table in front of the fireplace. The food was fantastic. My friend enjoyed every bite. At the end of our sumptuous meal, he turned to me and said it was the best meal he has enjoyed at restaurant in 30 years. I love this place!
Anvesh Reddy
The place was so lively and had a great ambience. Food was so good. Slow cooked lamb with pita bread ,special yogurt and mule drink was exceptional and the prices were very attractive. I strongly recommend a visit here. I would go back again for sure. Love the Lebanese cuisine even more now.
Eddie Banks-Crosson
I've debated about if I would post this -- I knew this wouldn't be a good experience from the moment I arrived. It was a dear friend's birthday dinner. When I got there I checked in with the hostess. The initial young woman greeted me - I checked in - but realized they sold my favorite tea, I walked over to get a box and returned. By that time she was chatting with her colleague, who was terse and dismissive. I stood there waiting on further direction for my check in - she (the terse one) and the greeter walked away with no further guidance. Yet - when other patrons arrived they got much more attention and guidance. I also noticed that the host(ess) stand seemed to be where "the water cooler" conversation takes place. 5 people huddled gossiping and judging patrons. Tip: the host(ess) stand is the place that sets the tone for the experience. You probably should put your best greeters here. Not a gaggle of "mean girls" who feel privilege and power to judge and treat patrons with mediocre customer service.
Once the rest of my party arrived, we were seated. Ordered apps, entrees, and drinks. My friend brought a bday cake, which she asked if the "cake cutting fee" could be waived. The mngr came over to offer a passive aggressive lecture about how he would waive the fee, but.... Listen -- I get the business model, of course you'd like your patrons to order from your dessert menu; however, your wallet isn't hurting when your patrons are spending $500 + dollars at your establishment for food and libation. I also observed the hostess stand staring and discussing his interaction. Again -- not sure why you need 4+ folks standing at one station -- sounds like a recipe for harboring poor behavior.
I do need to highlight, our waitress was exceptional and the food was good. If this restaurant wants to remain at the top -- they might want to revisit their staffing model and put mngment back in a customer service/ hospitality program to better shape skills to remain an exceptional restaurant. Unfortunately (and I hate this), my mind went to, "Is it because we were people of color that we were treated the way we were." I am not convinced otherwise. All in all, I was extremely apologetic to my friend -- I was in charge of selecting the restaurant, and prior to this experience, I held Suraya in high regards. Sadly, I can say I have removed the restaurant from future neighborhood options.
Update: Spoke with Mgr via phone -- our schedules didn't line up for a deep dive, but I would like to acknowledge his response. I will add a response according to the restaurant's reply to me, which gives me further pause:
Because trite DEI programs make you believe that staff representation means you’re diverse and you care, that is not true when it comes to practice. Further, my recommendation is to seek some additional training in race relations if you choose to serve a diverse clientele and ethnic cuisine.
Charles C
Food and atmosphere are pretty. Taste is underwhelming. Price is overwhelming. Waiter was nice and had a 90s sardonic attitude (e.g., Daria), which we liked.
Yerin C
Their garden is so pretty and popular. Hard to make last minute reservations - plan ahead! We made reservations three weeks in advance and still didn’t get a table in the garden. We instead got our seating in their extended patio which is much more compact and less cute🥲 But their indoor atmosphere is also ✨ and is a better option than the patio imo. Service overall was nice & our server the kindest.👍👍
Food was a bit salty for me but I can imagine with drinks would be perfect.

Great food but slightly Americanized. Tabouleh contains quinoa instead of bulgar. Kafta was too salty. Hummus on the tasting menu plate needs more olive oil (the cup of hummus with the entree was perfect). The bread is a strange wheat version of pita bread and kind of a let down. I lived in Jordan for 5 years with trips to Beirut and was really excited about Suraya. I’d go back but it doesn’t tick every box for authenticity for me.

Excellent service, Ian was spectacular. Food was great, the fresh pita is a highlight. Araq was an experience. Not one I'll be repeating anytime soon, but here we are.

Food, service, ambience....perfect. Pricey but worth every penny. We didn't have reservations and we had to wait awhile for a table. We were seated at the counter directly in front of the kitchen. Great view of everything! We were able to see all of the plating of the food and watch the bread being cooked in this amazing wood burning stove. The perfect meal was only overshadowed by by quick trip outside to see the garden. This place is amazing! Fire pits, cute seating and it is huge! It can easily accommodate 100+ people. I can't wait to go back.

It's a very beautiful space with very detailed decor and aesthetics. There are loads of seating as there is an outdoor garden and seating at the chefs table which gives great views of the chefs, brick oven and and entertaining vibe. But seats fill up quickly so be sure to make reservations weeks ahead, no joke.
Food is amazing, great Lebanese flavor and spices used. Portion sizes are a bit small but they do provide freshly baked pita you can eat with your meal to fill you up and tastes great!
Price is pretty high, not gonna lie. I wouldn't come here often just because I would go broke for food I can probably get at another Lebanese restaurant for a quarter of what you pay for (literally). But it's definitely a unique restaurant and experience worth a visit.
Janelle Pope
It was an amazing experience! Ian, our waiter was top-notch, didn't miss beat. That's how hospitality services should be done. I can't wait to go back with my family.

Went for a weekend brunch, a very beautiful experience. Food and service are delicate! Really enjoy the interior deco and the front house bakery shop
Tom Van
The food here is fresh and delicious! Love it! Highly recommended! Staff is super friendly and inviting!
Lauren Melendez
Amazing Food and service. We had a wonderful experience and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food. We appreciate the wonderful hospitality. I recommend getting "A Taste of Suraya". It was a beautiful array of the different dishes that they have. I would love to try different dishes on my next visit.
Altinay Cortes
My chai was delicious and pretty! My hubby enjoyed his mocha as well. The desserts were flavorful and delicious. I had the chicken sandwich which was a bit too flavorful for me but my hubby loved it. The restaurants ambiance is top notch and the service was fast and attentive. I will be returning!
Sam A
We went for my birthday and they did a great job of making dinner feel special. The prefix was great and very vegetarian friendly. Nice mix and liked trying a decent selection of the menu. Portions were large for the two of us and we had leftovers. Cocktails were delicious.
Dirk McGurk
Suraya was a really great restaurant. Awesome interior deco makes you feel like you're in Lebanon!. The interior windows are unique and add to the atmosphere.
The food is amazing. We had the "A Taste of Suraya" which includes a bunch of dips and choice of two appetizers. My favorite was the hummus, and the chicken liver (Sawdat Djej) hot mezza. The fried Kibbeh was also very good.
I tried the "Builder of Bridges" cocktail, and it was good. It had a funky taste, like kombucha.
For mains, we had the Kawarma (baharat rubbed lamb, grilled & slow roasted), and the Abu Sayf (grilled wild striped bass kebab), and both were very good. The lamb was in an amazing sauce.
We did the Kanafeh for dessert, which is cheese with a light, crispy fried exterior. The rose syrup on this was amazing!
My only complaint was that the meal's pacing was very slow. It took almost 3 hours for our entire meal. Service was very friendly, but a bit slow. Otherwise, our experience was amazing, the food was amazing, and I'd highly recommend this place to my friends for a fancy dinner!
Josepf Haslam
"Destination Restaurant" unique Lebanese/ middle eastern choices. Food is excellent, served in a casual style almost like from a food truck, which just adds to the appeal and authenticity. We both loved our selections and the menu had plenty of items we are anxious to go back and try. You will find lines! It moves fast though so come on in for a treat!
Jeffrey Denson
Good lord this place is amazing. Get the warm chickpea salad, the labneh, the lamb kibbeh . . . everything was awesome. Great space and decor. Polished service. Nice cocktail list. Really enjoyed the reasonably priced featured wine. EVERY DESSERT IS A MUST HAVE. Get them all and split them.
Simon T Katan
The taste of each of the dishes was great. The service is also great. If you want to have good middle eastern food in Philly, you have to try this location.
The only thing that bothered me, and I mentioned it to one of the owners, was that the dirty apperizer plates were sitting on the table for too long. But once I mentioned it, it was taken care of immediately. The desserts were especially spectacular, I highly recommended.

Suraya is such a beautiful restaurant, both inside and outside! Even the cafe area in the front is beautiful I love it.
My friends and I came here for dinner and we were seated outside in the garden at the communal table. It's such a beautiful place to eat at with the bar and the water fountain around you.
My friends and I ordered the hummus, baba ganoush, fatteh, and the samke nayyeh for our starters. The hummus was not out of this world. It was good but not anything I would come back for.
The baba ganoush was really good and well done and the fatteh was just amazing. This was my favorite dish that night and was recommended to us by the waiter. It's a hot dish that comes with warm chickpeas, eggplants, cripsy pita, tehina yogurt, topped with almonds and cashews and some green onions. It's so good I would definitely recommend this for a hot dish.
The samke nayyeh was also recommended to us by the waiter. He said it was great if you like sushi or sashimi so we got it to try. I wasn't blown away by it. The flavors are great but the fish didn't taste very fresh to me.
For our dinner, we decided to share the kafta kebab and the abu sayf. The Kafta kebab is a beef kebab that is seasoned with a bunch of herbs and comes with charred onion, tomatoes and peppers. The abu sayf was also recommended to us by the waiter - it's grilled swordfish marinated yogurt, lemon, garlic and more. It was really well done and was pretty good too.
I wasn't blown away by the dinner entrees we chose and definitely enjoyed our starters more. The flavors are great though and I will probably be coming back for more of the fatteh and baba ganoush.
All in all, this is a beautiful place to catch up and grab dinner with friends and family. The ambiance is very very nice and it's just a beautiful place to eat at. The food is good and the staff is very nice!

Lovely atmosphere, no reservation, got seated on patio. Everything is ordered through and purchased on phone. You have to use the designated cards on table to signify to servers if you need help. Pretty easy. We ordered cauliflower bites and the roasted red pepper meze- comes with fresh pide breads. Everything was delicious and we inhaled all of it. Also got the lamb halabi kebap, it came with a side of hummus and fresh roasted onions and sweet peppers. Absolutely delicious!! For dessert we got the kanafeh it was soo good and fresh!! overall we had a beautiful time, wonderful and helpful servers, delicious food!!!!
Fred Kunda
We’ve been trying to go here since before COVID and we finally did it. The outdoor dining setup for winter was amazing - every “booth” has its own heat and it felt very safe. The food was, of course, equally amazing as well. Look forward to going back in warmer months!
MinJae Cho
Beautiful decor, delicious pastries, and pita bread that’s cooked right in their open kitchen. The food here is the opposite of soul food, so if you want that, go elsewhere. It’s healthy-tasting, nutty and green food. Definitely worth a Brunch visit, especially in the summer with the outdoor seating.
Charles Nixon
Amazing mediterranean cuisine. Service, food and drinks. They have a lovely outdoor area that you can get a couple drinks and chill, but I recommend the dinner menu (which isn't served outside - it's a smaller menu option) inside... If you can get in. The lunch menu is different than their breakfast / morning options. Decide what type of mediterranean mood your in and just go to all 3 (breakfast, lunch and dinner) as it's worth the visit each time.
Nick Mendillo
Walked in to a wood-burning fire with each table having handmade unique mugs, it's a beautiful setting. Food was delicious - we ordered the pastry basket, cheese/tomato/longhot/onion/parsley man'oushe, tehina yogurt, and beef kebab plate, and everything was great. Our favorite pastries were the cruller and the chocolate-almond financier. Out of the savory, i would say the spiced french fries were the best; they were cooked so perfectly. We'll definitely be back - next time we plan to try the falafel and the apple yogurt.
Michael Laytin
I enjoyed most of what we ordered but all the hype around this place had me expecting more. The hummus, pita, and fol were great. The fries and flat bread were good. The meat in the kofte kebab was dry and surprisingly under seasoned. I would recommend the app sampler.
Zachary Herb
The top reputation as one of Philly’s top new restaurants of 2018 is well-deserved. The ambience is clearly meticulously planned, and the service is attentive and friendly. We had the pleasure of sitting by the open kitchen as the chef’s worked well in unison to prepare everything from scratch. The menu offers a unique spread of Lebanese small plates, beverages, and pastries to choose from. Definitely worth a visit for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Just be mindful that they close midday, and check social media as they regularly close for private events.
John Strawbridge
Love love LOVED the delicious food, space and staff! I had no idea how big this place was when I walked in. It starts with a little market and coffee bar where you can buy local specialties or quick items to go for the day and then it leads into the main dining room. There’s group seating as well as the chef’s counter that looks directly into the kitchen. If you continue on, you’ll end up in a very charming and spacious outdoor garden with seating and a bar which stays open in the fall. The food was so delicious and authentic, I can’t wait to go back! If you have a big group, the tasting menu is an amazing deal!
lily
got the eggplant baba ganoush, pastry basket, their latte, etc . all of the food was amazing. 5/5 service. 5/5 ambiance. the latte isn't overly sweet the flowers are edible. the cups are home made. their almond pastry w filling is superb. all of their pastries aren't overly sweet.
Simon Proekt
Most dishes were quite good and would earn a 5 however there were some misses as well. Biggest downside was service...I don't think anyone wants eye rolls from their waiter
F A
Surprisingly delicious food, cordial staff, nice inside decorations with all the COVID-19 precautions definitely turned me into a fan of Lebanese cuisine 🙂 …
Kat Park
First time having Lebanese food, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve only had lunch here (so I can’t speak to dinner), but the mezze plate and the hummus we got were amazing. The side of spiced french fries were a great add because come on...fries. The food was actually a lot more filling than I thought it’d be as well. My favorite of the mezze plate had to be the ful mudammas aka stewed fava beans with chickpeas. The combination of all of the flavors worked very well, and make sure to treat yourself to a pastry (the rose pistachio cruller)!
ag. aliss
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia! The dinner selection is just soooo good! Be aware that for weekend dinner & brunch there is a minimum you need to spend! Check beforehand
rachel “Ray” trachtenberg
I mean..... best restaurant in the city next to zahav of course. Ambience everything is just next level, wish reservations weren’t so hard bc I could eat here weekly or daily! Best birthday dinner ever
Dennis
Great tasting, great price, and great service = 5 stars
Party of 2
A Taste of Suraya - I was full after the 1st course. definitely with the money for the amount of food you get.
Samke Nayyeh - well flavored raw yellow tail. Would certainly get this dish again.
Fatteh - was surprised how tasty it was since I’m not much of a chickpea person (except for hummus). Had a nice warm temperature, nice flavor, and the added crispy pita was a nice added texture.
Halabi kebab- I’m not a lamb person but it was certainly cooked well and flavorful. If you like lamb, you won’t be disappointed with this dish.
Grilled eggplant - only available when ordering the tasting. Certainly big.
Dessert
Coffee and chocolate verrine (coffee and apricot) - very unique combination that works well. Would certainly get this again.
Would I come back? Definitely
Sara Lin
Driving into philly, we and stopped at Suraya and were pleased to find this unexpected gem. Very stylish and pristine inside with friendly service.
I especially recommend the puff pastries and the Lebanese Chai Latte with rose petals. Their Za'atar flatbreads remind me of healthy little pizzas. My mother tried the cucumber Za'atar - delicious! Really great for vegetable lovers. Keep in mind, some of the savory dishes are a bit spicy.
We were there for brunch, so we ate on the café side. The lunch menu and restaurant seating area opens at 11am.
There is a cute selection of products on display for purchase as well, including Rose flavored spreads and matching bowl sets.

We enjoyed our brunch on Saturday morning. We booked through open table so there was no wait, that’s such a plus for bruch as a lot of brunch places do not take reservations. The place is quite large, and the interior design is superior. It fits well w/ Fishtown for sure. The service was nice and quick. Food has a lot of spice in it so it’s a little bit exotic (in a good way).
Anuja Godbole
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Philly. In love with their service, interiors, FOOD, and overall experience. I’ve only tried their brunch menu, and I cannot wait to try their dinner some time as they have kunefe as an option! Be sure to make reservations though.
Nicole Meyer
I was blown away by my night here. The service was like being at the Ritz and we were well taken care of. I've never had lebanese before and everything was delicious on bite #1. I cannot rave enough about this place!
Alison P
Dinner was very flavorful. We decided to try a lot of different mezza. The muhammara could've been more texturally diverse, but aside from that everything was great. The bread they served was fantastic. Definitely a bit pricey overall though.
Maanika Keesara
Went on a Friday and the food, drinks, staff, and space was AMAZING!! Might have been my favorite meal ever in Philly. Loved the baba ganoush. Would definitely return.
Rita Poss
The food was outstanding. The experience fantastic, I can't wait for the spring to try the backyard outside seating.
Brian L.
This place had the best lamb I've ever had! All of the food was excellent and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The neighborhood it was located in, Fishtown, is really up and coming with good access to the city and lots to do nearby. Suraya was a great way to finish a night out and I will definitely be back!
Carmen Chan
Delicious Lebanese food!! The waiters were helpful. Came here for brunch (without reservations) and wasn't disappointed. The mimosa was alright imo but my husband liked it. He got the bloody Mary which had a nice kick to it. Food was really good! My husband and I really liked the labne (yogurt) so much that we really wanted to take it back to CA with us haha. We got the Mezze Plate and it was enough for the both of us. We also got the lahm bi-ajeen which was okay, but not great. Pita was really good too! I would definitely go back again when I'm visiting my brother and craving for some Lebanese food!
Natalie Caldwell
Everyone has been raving about this restaurant so I just had to try it! I will say, I WAS a little disappointed, but with it being COVID and take out I’m hoping that was why. Here’s what we ordered:
- Fried Kibbeh - these dumplings were reallyyy dry. There wasn’t enough of the mint-cucumber yogurt sauce with it to help combat that
- Halabi kebab - lamb kebab...good but nothing crazy to write home about. This came with a babyyyy amount of hummus which was a little disappointing. Hummus was average and the pita with it, I could have bought it from the grocery store. Nothing set it apart.
- Samke Harra - the branzino was expected, but the sauce, holy moly load me more of that. It was amazing. Came with turmeric rice which was meh.
- Sumac French fries with toum - HOLY COW. These babies stole the show. You’re thinking, getting fries at a Levantine restaurant..really? YES REALLY. They were amazing - big, crispy, flavorful. I would go back just for these
Overall it was a decent meal but not the wow I expected. Will go back in hopes the COVID takeout is what did them in.
Sarah
Not what I was expecting of a Lebanese style restaurant. I've been to quite a few and none have left me speechless like this place. The interior design alone is awe inspiring, the aesthetics of the place is dimmed down and intimate, which is not what I'm used to from a Lebanese restaurant. Not gonna lie though, this place is a bit bougie... so have your wallet ready.
MIRNA EL KHATIB
Suraya is beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious authentic Lebanese food. A must try and I am definitely going back.
We went for brunch because it is hard to get reservations. We ordered the Chai latte with almond milk which was both delicious and pretty. My husband got the cappuccino which was just as tasty. Then we shared the hummus with slow-roasted lamb and got the kebab platter with taboule, hummus, kafta kebab. Both of which I would recommend.
Cons: We omitted the fries and asked for more taboule which we didn't get-this was mentioned to the waitress but she disregarded our comment-so basically wrong waitress but not restaurant's fault. Everyone else was very pleasant and welcoming.
Pros: good excellent food, nicely decorated, can socialize without hearing the next table. I would go back and try their dinner menu. I went to their sister brunch place-Cafe la Maude and that was exceptionally good too
John Knorr
Simply amazing food! Beautiful inside and great wait staff. We did the tasters menu and everything was just perfect! The lamb sausages (makanek) and the yellowtail (kibbeh nayyeh) were my favorite of the first course, though the pita, hummous and baba ganoush were also exemplary. The kawarma (roasted lamb with yogurt) and abu sayf (halibut marinated in shawarma yogurt) were highlights of the main course. Desserts (not pictured) were also fantastic - especially the kanafeh (cheese curd with crispy outside, melted inside and topped with rose syrup and pistachio)... So good.
May Chan
The flavors, decor, and service. Must experience. The coffee shop / store front is so quaint but the entire restaurant is a large beautiful space. Wonderful cocktails as well.
kal loul
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The atmosphere is so beautiful. Very different than your average restaurant in philly. Their drinks are very interesting. I ordered a drink that was rose flavored and had dried rose in it. Very delicious. The plants and trees are very nice and makes you feel that you’re at a garden
Sean Cosico
Amazing food and service! From the moment you walk in you don't realize how big the place is! It even extends outside with outdoor seating! But I do suggest grabbing a reservation because they're always packed! That shows how great the place is! We had the baba ganoush with pita, lamb two ways ( kebab and braised), kefkah cheese with honey and crusted with pistachios and herbs, and a rose infused chai tea/ coffee.
A B
Great food, friendly staff, diverse and well behaved trendy crowd. All food and drink selection were superb, however Jalaab stands out. Apparently (according to server) the name Suraya means Syria
Vasu
Excellent food and ambience. Service missed one or two requests but was otherwise great. Would go again to try their dinner menu
Kaushal Ramani
Must visit this place if you are in Philly!!
From the ambiance to the food and service, everything is fabulous.
Their bakery is awesome and you should try curlers and the Bar which is awesome.
From the cocktail all 4 of them are really too good including Mimosa and Bloody marry.
Lebanese Chai Late is out of box I would say which is a milk based chai late along with reach pistachio and creamy ness.
I never thought of yogurt with many different flavors which is Tahiti and you should must try it.
Food is amazing that’s the only thing I can describe about it..!!
Erin Maloney
Wandered in on a Wednesday for some light bites and it was so cozy and very busy! We lucked out and scored seats at the chef's counter, so we got to watch the pita oven and skewer grills in action. Everything we tried from the mezze list was fantastic, and we almost fought over the last bit of perfectly creamy-tangy yogurt. Cocktails were on point! Will have to return for brunch, as I understand there's a mezze sampler during daytime :) Definitely a good idea to reserve ahead!
Chris Nappi
Exceeded expectations. I was hesitant about the unfamiliar food options going in but everything was delicious. The dazzling decor and cozy atmosphere add a lot to the experience. I could see spending a day here eating and drinking with friends. Service was ultra friendly and speedy.
Julissa Jimenez
Excellent food from their brunch to their dinners to their beverages! Nestled in Fishtown, Philly, this beautiful restaurant heralds handsome esthetic, friendly staff, and talented chefs! No surprise that it's one of Philly's top restaurants.
Spencer Nord
Excellent meal with great service all around. Suraya’s use of an open fire adds depth of flavor to every dish. The slow roasted lamb is an absolute must try while the swordfish was merely okay in comparison to the other great dishes. If you enjoy arak, be sure not to skip their great cocktail creations.
Basem Jaber
Incredible!! The food was a piece of art made by a master Chef. Never expected to have an Arabic food at this level in US. Definitely worth the trouble to book a table here.
Kevin Xu
Loved all the food here - the cruller and kofta kebab especially stood out to me. The space is large and inviting - will definitely return!
Michael Justiniano
This is a Lebanese restaurant in Fishtown Philadelphia. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a very open layout. The food is excellent! We shared 11 he's flat bread, one of the hummus dishes and the spicy fries. And we shared a couple of desserts. I would definitely return.
David Choi
If you haven't already heard, this restaurant is phenomenal. Slightly expensive but absolutely worth every penny. Beautifully decorated space and it is clear every aspect of your experience is carefully thought out and well executed. Lunch and dinner menus are both fantastic. Service is top notch and they go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable.
Virginia Hollon
My family enjoyed an amazing experience at Suraya last night. The setting is a feast for your eyes. The lighting and decor soothing. Very comfortable seating. All our servers were impeccable. They were well schooled in the menu and wine pairings. The food was exquisite. We felt well taken care of. Suraya provided a lovely evening we will fondly remember for a long time, and for this we thank you.
Jeff Diego
I have high expectations with this restaurant as it is highly recommended by friends. Verdict: Great ambience, amazing food but had to wait for a long time for our main dish. Our server was very helpful, polite and attentive. We had a late reservation and obviously we are hungry but appetizer to main dish was almost 30-40 minutes wait. The manager came to apologize with a memorized spiel and abruptly left. Will I go back to this place? Yes. Will I recommend this place to friends and family? Yes - just because the food is amazing. I am willing to give it another try and see if I have a better experience next time but for now, I am only giving it 4 stars.
Joshua Azarchi
Pretty good. Did not live up to the hype, unfortunately. In terms of quality of food and taste they did a solid job, though I’ve had equal or better food from street vendors in the Middle East.
The wait staff was friendly and attentive.
Just didn’t think it was worth the price.
The eggplant appetizer was not something I was a fan of. Sort of tasted like sour grits, with a similar texture.
The lamb was cooked quite well.
Stomach did not feel great after the meal.
Bilal Motley
I finally made it to Suraya for brunch. One of the best food experiences in Philly. Their sister spot, Cafe La Maude, has been one of my favorites for years.
Ore Akinbo
I cannot stress how amazing the food is. This is the kind of brunch that leaves you satisfied but not overly stuffed. I ordered the rose water lemonade for a fun light drink and was not disappointed. The servers are all so efficient and in sync. And the brunch menu?? *Chef's kiss* definitely try to get a seat at the kitchen bar. Watching the movement between the chefs and servers is an orchestra unto its own. The lighting and ambience can only be described as soft elegance and the attention to detail of the decor is genuinely beautiful. 10/10 recommend for brunch.
Venkatesh Moorthy
By far one the best restaurants in Philadelphia. This is a hidden gem and the chef exactly knows what he is doing here. Every course every dish was so spectacular and mouthwateringly delicious, I am salivating just thinking about it. Even the cocktails are crafted to go with the food and they are all one of a kind. Lebanese food just made a massive splash in the food scene in Philly thanks to this restaurant.
Rhea Graham
Wonderful atmosphere for larger dinner parties. Great pantry to shop for one's own kitchen. The outdoor dining spaces are attractive and well-designed for current times. Make reservations early!
Annie
Had a wonderful experience at Suraya. Service was excellent. First time having Lebanese food and all of the dishes we ordered based on the waitresses suggestions were delicious. I would love to come back for a special occasion sometime soon!
fishgolf
My daughter Kelsey treated me to Father’s Day lunch at Suraya. The place is AWESOME. Run and managed like a well oiled machine, staff is so friendly and engaging and know their stuff! The food was absolutely to die for. I had the branzini dish and it was incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant to all.
Andre
Best Lebanese ever! Abu Sayf Is amazing. High qaulity. Well presented. Nice flavours. Correctly cooked.
Tumeric Rise was also vert tasty and lovely cooked.
I'm really Happy to have been there.
Nice restaurant vert clear and customer service Is excellent.
Parking Sony simplex but patente helps!
I'll be right back.

Earned everyone of those 5 stars! Our table started with lots of Apps,Baba Ganoush was one of them. Excellent! I ordered Kawarma, one touch of my fork and the lamb fell apart. The meat was out of this world. The service was 5 stars. Mike N. navigated the menu for us and made some suggestions, which we can say he led us in the right direction with the food selection. We felt like guests at someone's home, we had the staff's full attention. This was truly the perfect dining experience.
Wendy with a D
Our group of four each ordered the Taste of Suraya. Their dips are absolutely amazing and their desserts (kanafeh especially!)are so good!! Our entrees were great but we agreed that the stars were the beginning and ending courses.
Youngmin Ryu
One of the best in philly! If you like labanese food, i recommend it. They won't let you down!
Shawna Johnson
We had the cooks tasting menu for a starter which was A+ and truly freed us up to a universe of new flavors. Tragically we were a little let somewhere near our dishes, the Branzino and sheep, which is the reason I give them 4 stars. Try not to misunderstand me, the dishes were VERY GOOD, simply not "best in Philly" in that frame of mind as we were anticipating.
Ahdab Eskandar
(Reservations required) we booked three days in advance. Amazing food and atmosphere
Would come gain for sure
They sell blend of spice and cute souvenirs
Senem Ekiz
I HAVE NEVER ENJOYED A MEAL MORE IN MY LIFE. Our server asked how was everything and if anyone has ever complained and her answer was “actually now that I think about it, no” - I hope this puts perspective to how delicious and delightful the meal was. I cannot wait to go back! We tried almost everything and they were alllllll amazing. The Kunefe was omggggggg. My cocktail was omg. I really have no words. I was so into the meal all my pictures came out blurry due to dim lighting and me not checking to see how they came out. I don’t have enough good things to say. Only negative was parking. It was hard to find but I cannot take off a star for that
Madyson Samsel
Suraya is an absolutely fantastic place to dine for weekend brunch, lunch during the week (currently offered Wedesday, Thursday, and Friday) and dinner during the week and weekend. The tasting menu is required during the weekend brunch and dinner, but I would highly recommend it.The tasting menu you gives you the opportunity to try so many options that are served based on the number of guests per party. I grabbed a last minute brunch on Sunday and sat at the bar and it was wonderful. Vicki was my bartender and she was fantastic. She gave me recommendations (which turned out amazing, thanks Vicki for the great suggestion!). The whole staff is incredibly kind and helpful and you can see how much the whole team works together, helping each other out. You can also see the managers jumping in to help when needed, which is sometime I haven't seen at a lot of other restaurants. The food is great, the ambiance is wonderful, and the staff is absolutely incredible and kind. And it is completely stunning inside. I would absolutely recommend Suraya to anyone!
Christopher Hinkle
Had an amazing time with great company. Service was excellent. Good ambiance, though not special or unique. Food was solid all around. The starter with chickpeas and walnuts was scrumptious. Meat (lamb and fish) was tender but the flavor was a bit blander than I had hoped based on the reviews. Hummus was on point but the pita bread was a little on the tough and dry side. Entrees seemed a little salty and lacking in more sophisticated flavors. Desserts were equisite. Overall a fun experience, but for the price I definitely expected better. Conclusion: an "adequate" three stars. Definitely had a lovely evening though thanks to the company of my amazing girlfriend; everything tastes better with her :)
Nkechi Obata
The food, service, and drinks were all amazing! I couldn't have had a better dinner.
April Burrows
I just read a review but it didn't post for some reason. So I'll try to give it another go. Great atmosphere, great service, delicious food. A bit expensive for appetizers. If you get an appetizer, one cocktail, and two entrees you spend $100 easily. Would visit again when in Philadelphia.
Zach Jenkins
As fun a dinner as any I’ve ever had. Went last night (Saturday), so had the tasting menu. First of all, get ready for a lot of food. They really lay it on you, but you won’t get tired with all the variety and flavor. The labneh was my favorite thing of the night. The whole dinner was a veritable whirlwind of flavor. This place rocks!
Jenny Tsialikas
Got the chef’s table; every bite was perfection. Highly recommend
Ozgun Acar
Great food and service. Not a huge fan of rose in kunafah but just depends on the person.
Carrie Brackin
Came her with friend and had a fantastic time. We came for brunch and Lauren our server was very helpful and made sure our experience was great. I was also very pleased to see a restaurant/ company feed their employees a family meal and I'll be honest It look great. Can't wait to come back here again.
Wilson Lu
Food was fantastic everything was very fresh and well made. Staff was extra nice to explain in detail all the food we was ordering.
P. G.
The food was good, but I don't like paying a deposit of $40 per person in order to make a reservation, I don't appreciate the 3% “kitchen fee," either. I won't be back.
Adam Meltz
Fantastic birthday dinner with my wife and good friends. Every course was fantastic. The server Abel was super knowledgeable about the menu and provided 5 star service. We will definitely be back!
Kimberly Madden
Incredible vibe, delicious food. Me and my vegetarian friends split tons of things on the menu. Not too many vegetarian entrees but plenty of other options. Wonderful desserts too! And yummy cocktails!
Kristen Koton
I'm not a fan of chai but Suraya's Lebanese Chai has won me over. Pastries are always fresh, lattes, homemade pita & hummus are delicious. Interior is beautiful.
Ege Oz
I have mix feelings for Suraya. They ask for credit card info ($40 charge if not show up) to secure the reservation, but keep you waiting for quite amount time when you arrive. I liked the branzino very much. Babaganuj and stuffed grape leaves were okay. Service was okay as well.
tremoi ludvig
Best food and service I’ve had in years!! The bartenders were phenomenal. Especially the girl that was on service bar. I forgot her name . But great recommendations, service and overall really attentive. Thanks so much guys for everything. It was such an awesome experience.
Jill Chen
A friend came in town and suggested Suraya for brunch. The menu was enticing to the foodies in all of us, so we went. We got the pastry basket to share for the table, the crueller was especially memorable from the basket! My husband and I also got Ful Mudammas, Lebanese flat bread with zaatar, labne, olive, cucumber, mint. Rosewater lemonade and tahina hot chocolate. Everything was uniquely made and flavored. The Ful Mudammas was made with fava beans and had red onions and thin slices of hot peppers. The ful Mudammas came with pita. The pita was so puffy just like pillows and it was the perfect complement to the ful Mudammas. The Lebanese flat bread was similar to a wrap, it was smeared with the seasonings and had chunks of cucumber and mint. It was a very complex flavor with the refreshing bites of cucumbers. The rosewater lemonade was really refreshing. The tahina hot chocolate was not too sweet. The spice has a unique flavor. My friends got the kefta plate, and lamb flat bread. All were very tasty! The restaurant is spacious and comfortable. There is a small bakery counter and market places in the front of the restaurant. And there is a small lot in the back of the restaurant.

Dined in with my family for Brunch, the taste menu is fantastic and the Chai Latte is probably the best I have had so far. The bread basket with different pastries is a no miss. Ensure you make advance reservations. Definitely coming back in here to try out other recipe in their menu.
Andrea Marino
Amazing dinner! I definitely recommend the tasting menu with a group so you can try many of the appetizers! The crispy cauliflower with chickpeas appetizer was definitely a favorite, and I loved the taboulé. The kafta kebobs were a favorite of the entrees, and the bronzino and slow roasted lamb were delicious as well! We were incredibly full by the time deserts came out, but everything was delicious... the biggest hit was definitely the Knafeh, the cheese pastry.
Karen Kurokawa
Delicious food, excellent and professional service and marvelous ambiance.
My medically necessary gluten, soy and dairy free diet was not a problem at all for Suraya's team. I had plentiful choices (which is rare) and they understood and were prepared to deal with the potential for cross contact problems in the kitchen. I was able to thoroughly relax and enjoy myself (even rarer). And my partner and friend dining with me, without any dietary considerations, we're equally pleased. A highly recommended dining experience. Thank you to the manager, Brittany, and all her Suraya team for a great evening!
Stephen
A beautiful restaurant for brunch, with delicious plates and pastries and beverages. Between the four of us, we had rose water lemonade (hint of rose is sooooo good), chai latte, stumptown coffee, an apricot cardamom mimosa to rave about, and 2 kabob platters and a handful of pastries for postres (do not miss the Apple Chausson!)
The Crispy Chickpea Hummous is a must.
Lauren McHugh
The was the second time I'd been to Suraya for dinner and it was soooo good. This time we did a la carte but the previous time we'd done the tasting menu. The tasting menu is amazing! But come hungry and expect to take home food. There are so many delicious things on the menu it's hard to pick favorites. I definitely always get the hot meza dish - fatteh - and the dessert kanafeh - which is to die for!
Carrie Wagler
I think this would be a good date restaurant! My friend and I had a great experience here on a Tuesday night. We arrived a little after 5, with no reservation, and they sat us at the table overlooking the kitchen. Our waitress was so helpful, friendly, and funny! We felt like we got to see into the inner workings of this restaurant. Definitely recommend the hummous and lamb kebab. The baba ganoush was not our favorite but was still flavorful! It’s an aesthetically pleasing restaurant and we will be back when it’s warm enough for the back patio to be open!
Rina Maschler
This place deserves the good reputation it has earned!Deliciously seasoned cauliflower sandwich with picked veggies and comforting ful mudammas! That's what we had for lunch. This is a beautiful place. Nice atmosphere, good service.
Chad Greenlee
Start to finish Suraya impressed us. Wine was good. Mezza was incredible. Entrees were timely, thoughtful, fresh, and delicious. And the dessert was bright and savory. We ordered the special fluke crudo and crispy potatoes for the additional mezza, and the grilled branzino and slow roasted lamb for entrees. Everything was wonderful, however, I'd highly recommend going to this spot with more than just one other person. I spent a lovely evening here with my wife, but we both thought this restaurant would be best enjoyed with family, you get SO much food from the tasting menu.
Russell P
1 of my step daughters favorite restaurants, each bite has 15 different flavors but leaves you wanting more trying figure out how so many flavors come in just one bite. 5 stars
Kelly Kay
Sooo good! A bit expensive, but the quality and amount of food you get makes it worth it. Highly recommend!
Jordyn McLeod
The vibe and climate very pleasant. It will not let you get bored until the food arrives. Overall it is worth five stars. Each dish is painstakingly created with extraordinary mixes of flavors and fixings that get the best out of the area's current illumination. The food is wealthy on the surface and your tastebuds will always remember the heavenly food and special reviving refreshments like the rose water lemonade.
Made much more amazing by a staggeringly kind and mindful team of servers. If you're searching for extraordinary center eastern flavors, Suraya is a complete diamond. The tasting menu served on Fridays and Saturdays was marvelous worth, and worth each penny.
At the cost, it is a ton of food and you leave stuffed. I energetically suggest this spot assuming that you are in the fish town region, you won't be disheartened. Enjoying forward to returning and attempting this spot once more. Strongly suggest early lunch whenever you are in Philadelphia!
Andrew Freire
Incredibly tasty food. The flavors are complex and different. There's a good use of textures in the food to enhance the eating experience. Awesome! I came for lunch but I'll definitely be coming back for dinner.
Marc Abrams
Just go! Absolute treasure in the heart of Fishtown.
Renee Pham
Amazing staff and even more amazing food. The pitas are made fresh the oven and the yogurts are creamy and filling. Oh, and definitely get this strawberry pastry. Its fantastic! It might be expensive to some but the portions are big and definitely worth it
Ankur Rathi
Incredible food! As a vegetarian, this place is definitely worth a visit (don't worry meat-eaters, plenty for you as well). I strongly recommend getting a reservation - went on a random Wednesday evening and the place was packed. Oh, and you have to get the hot chocolate, it's pretty incredible!
Lee Rosenfeldt
One of the best meals I've had in Philadelphia. Excellent service as well. Arak cocktails were fantastic.
Sanjana Balakrishna
Love this restaurant so much! I have tried multiple things here: hummus platter, baba Ganoush, Za'atar spiced flatbread, Lebonese chai tea, pistachio cruller. Love them all much!! This has my complete recommendation.
Pete Browne
Our experience at Suraya was absolutely phenomenal. I savored the best coffee I have ever had in Philadelphia along with an unreal assortment of small, delectable, plates. What an amazing experience!
Michael Roesch
Wonderful food. Wonderful staff. Amazing vibes in their garden. For this of us who don’t live in fish town, they have a parking lot so you don’t have to deal with that issue
The most amazing Lebanese dessert!
kevin kessler
Wow...something different, amazing food, amazing staff, our server was totally on point. We really loved the night....listen, learn and enjoy....kudos to the chef and staff..thx
Brooke Freeman
Just went in for apps and drinks but it was amazing! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended wonderful drinks! I’m looking forward to going back for a full dinner!
Lucianne Kempton
If you're having second thoughts about going here, you should dismiss them immediately. We went for brunch and Suraya did not disappoint. The mushroom hummus was fantastic and we also got a flat bread to share. Great atmosphere and best Lebanese food in Philly!
Chris Baker
One of the very best restaurants in one of, if not THE, best restaurant cities in the US. Food, atmosphere, ambiance, food and service are all AMAZING :)))
Adam Valone
Very happy I finally got to try the famous Suraya! The staff goes above and beyond, and the food is fabulous! Definitely come check it out if you're in the area, can't wait for the warmer weather to try out their patio.
Penny Kroll
Absolutely wonderful meal along with stellar service. Loved sitting at the kitchen bar where we could watch the food preparation magic!
Melissa Joy
Suraya was so much more than we expected! Everything was delicious and the service could not be beat. We tried many of the dishes including the prawns, lamb tartare (Kibbeh Nayyeh), and yellowtail ceviche (Samke Nayyeh). The labne, baba ganoush, and hummous were also amazing!
Ashley Hall
One of my favorite meal experiences in Philly! The space is incredibly well appointed, the service was great, and the food was phenomenal. We did the Saturday prefix brunch which was the perfect amount of food for 4 people. Make sure to get some of the pastries, they are life changing!
Roshelle Mooney
Labense food became one of my favorites because of this place. Everything is so over the top delicious and not at all expensive! Highly recommend.
Cabinet Designer
Hard to get reservations. But meals are really delicious. Staff are warm friendly. Interior design and garden was absolutely beautiful. You can order from online and meals comes so fast. Not to need wait anyone.
Marc Sierra
Great place for Middle Eastern fair especially if you’re looking for a lighter bite to eat. Their wine list as a very unique approach of wine selling. Less popular wines with more emphasis on flavors and locations the food was delicious but portions were very large may be easier to split one meal between two people
Vivek Mukhatyar
Worth the ratings it has received on Eater. Oven baked fresh bread are alone worth the visit to this well executed medditerreanen restaurant.
Penelope Murphy
I was a joyful event and amazing place I was taken back because it was located in Fishtown,Fishbowl, did not expect that at all. It truly was great
Shaneen Dewendre
The BEST Lebanese food I've ever had! Suraya has family style dining and such uniquely vibrant dishes. The pastry basket was on a whole other level - every individual pastry had it's own unique flavor profile and complimented the meal well. Highly recommend their specialty coffees and drinks too!
Michael Stump
High quality experience. Had the tasting menu, everything was excellent. The cauliflower based starter was among the best cauliflower preparations I’ve ever tasted and the yellowtail starter had amazing presentation, though that can be said for most of the plates that hit the table. Went with the roasted lamb for the main, the texture and flavor were fantastic, and hit all the taste notes that I would want Lebanese food to hit, the deeply savory and smoky meat, with the light and creamy yogurt, and fresh and fruity salad all combined together for a dish that was my favorite of the evening. Dessert was also excellent, and there were two on the table. One was a richer ice cream based dessert, and the other was a lighter floral / fruit based dessert. I preferred the latter, as the rose cream paired excellently with the lemon puffs on the side. Cocktails were well curated and clearly had thought put into them. Decor was spot on, I loved the design of the place, though the tables were surprisingly close, kind of detracting from what would have otherwise been a very intimate dining experience. Would recommend for a special occasion.
Ada Sklyarsky
One of my favorite places in Northern Liberties. The food is amazing! Must try the chicken kabobs. The Lebanese chai latte is incredible. Everything we ordered every time we went to Suraya has been the highest quality and absolutely delicious.
Sara Group
Beautiful interior and incredibly delicious food. Such interesting flavor combinations. Definitely recommend the hummus, lamb entree, and apple dessert.
Ron S.
Absolutely some of the best food I have ever had in my life. I have never had lamb cooked to such tender perfection or rice taste so fruity and sweet before. This is a must to place to go if your visiting philly.
Kristina Almonte
Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to!! The service is incredible, right from the moment you walk in the door. The hostess' are so friendly and we got brought right to the table. The amount of food you get is amazing and worth every penny. The waiters are constantly checking in to see if you need anything, refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, bringing the next course. You don't even realize the transition of one course to the next because they are so seamless in how they run. Every time I have been there, I try to eat less appetizers and entrees so I have room to enjoy the delicious desserts. But I just can't help myself and keep taking bites, but eat dessert anyways even though I'm full, it's too good to pass us! The atmosphere is beautiful both indoors and outside. We have even gone there with our 2 kids (1 year old and 3 year old) and they are child friendly! A couple of courses they took off some spices so the kids would eat it (since we all know kids are very picky). They have highchairs. And the waiters were so friendly with the kids! And once the kids got too antsy and we needed to leave, they got us the check and we paid so fast. 100/100 would recommend going!!!
David L.
The food and service are great! The atmosphere feels very premium. Lighting is quite dim in the evening. I recommend the roasted potatoes and the lamb dish. Pitas are endless. Would like to have paper towels in the bathroom to open the doors with (particularly because we have to use hands to eat the pita.)
P. Tran
There’s not a single bad thing one could say about this establishment. This goat is fall off the bone good and extremely tasteful. All of their sides are great as well.
Ari Asher
Highly recommend. Great Mediterranean cuisine. Flavors are very authentic.
09/09/2022 edit: Our first return to Suraya post COVID. Due to the Friday, we sampled the Taste of Suraya menu. I am happy to report that my impression did not change. This is an excellent restaurant with some of the best Lebanese food I have ever had.
Cathy Little
Such a wonderful evening! It was my birthday. What a beautiful night and the food!! Awesome!
Rupert Marin
This place was truly fantastic. Here are my reasons why:
1.) The staff, they were over booked but offered me a seat at the bar to accommodate. I loved every minute it, the bartenders Jay Jay and Brandon made us feel so at home. Food came quickly and everyone was so knowledgeable.
2.) The taste, omg the food was symphony of flavors. Enough said about that.
3.) The value, the price we paid for 3 courses and great speak easy cocktails were unmatched!
Thanks!
Ian O'Casey
We didn't have a reservation. We were given an hour wait for space at the bar for three. Pottered down the road for a beer or so and got our text. I get why it's so popular. Lebanese food done extraordinarily well. Sharp flavors, excellent textures and superb attentive, well trained and executed service. My recommendation, try to get reservation but even if you can't it's worth getting on the list.
Michelle Cruz
Great brunch selection! Loved the vibe and atmosphere of the restaurant. One of the best bloody Mary’s I have ever had!
Nafisa Karim
Food was really good, and when it comes to price, you are paying a little more for the awesome environment and great service. So it was worth it.
Oscar Nunez
Can’t recommend it enough. I’m far from an expert on Lebanese food, but I really enjoyed the food and experience. It’s Nov so we ate inside, but I imagine the garden is nice. Inside was beautiful. Interacted with so many different staff members, all who were attentive and so kind. Food was AMAZING. I forget the correct names, but the appetizers was yogurt based dip thing, hummus, and these baked potatoes, and then we got the ground beef kebabs. So delicious. Need to try the full experience option, or whatever it’s called. Definitely seems worth it, especially if you get a few apps anyway. Will be back!!
Jocelyn Gluck
Went for the weekend brunch and it was beyond excellent! The kafta kebab was melt in your mouth tender and perfectly seasoned, the chicken kebab was juicy and flavorful, and the fish was expertly cooked with a sauce that had a nice kick without being overpowering.
Our waiter was William. His suggestions were spot on for everything as he was polite and cheerful throughout. We will definitely be coming back!
Daniel Rocha
Great decor, great service, and delicious fresh food. Brunch price fix menu was wonderful, even if it looks like it might not be enough food, it was plenty for two of us! Mezze plate and fresh pita were the highlights.
Lesley Parness
Chai with rose petals, check.
Hummus with brisket, check.
Pizza thing with zaatar, check
Baba ganough, double check
Pita in paper bag check
Everything was delicious!
Jason P
Hands down one if the top restaurants in Philadelphia. A proper house staff and service with a beautiful, warm atmosphere, and authentic world class Lebanese cuisine. You will need to make reservations in advance (although I called same day and caught a cancellation), and reservations are guaranteed with a credit card, so you need to commit. Definitely worth the effort.
Jevon Corpening
Listen. First time. The service. The food. Brittney our hostess, incredible. Jesse the bartender awesome. Sam and Deanna, our servers…speechless. The food? Say less. So good! If you’re in Philly, you have to come to Suraya, at least once. I am sitting in the restaurant while I type this. It’s that good.
Amana Choudhri
Came for brunch and the experience was wonderful. Beautiful garden area to sit in with enough shade. Our server was so charismatic and helpful. All of the brunch sides, hummus, baba ganoush and red pepper were amazing. I ordered the Lebanese omelette as my entree and it was just ok. Mock tails are refreshing.
Amit Thakkar
Incredible ambience incredible restaurant incredible service incredible food in fact I would have to say that this is probably my top 5 meals of 2021.
K
The service and ambience is amazing but I think it’s overpriced and hyped up. I definitely recommend going once and experiencing it for yourself but the food was a bit salty and something you could have gotten at a hole in the wall restaurant. The wine selection was nice. I did enjoy my time here but our bill was over $300 for only two people so that is why I am giving it 3 starts and not 4. Disclaimer: I am not a huge fan of Mediterranean type food and this was very similar to the tangy Greek flavors.
Binh Le
The details in this restaurant are impeccable. All the textures, designs, colors, and music please the senses. The outdoor space is also incredible. There's a dedicated parking lot directly across in Fishtown. Food is brought to you by the owners of Root and Cafe La Maude which can only mean one thing: Quality
Nicole Long
The Taste of Suraya brunch menu is perfect. And you must add a pastry or two....that cruller is perfect.
Joseph Oliva
Very popular Lebanese cuisine located in Fishtown, Philadelphia. Tasty offerings, smallish size appetizers. Nice cocktail menu with cocktails off the beaten path.
Jaspreet Bhullar
Great food (tried out the brunch). Great service. Definitely coming back to try the regular menu.
Salim Makhlouf
Showed up on a day they were serving a prix fixe meal, and was pleasantly surprised. It felt like a modern hip restaurant in Beirut. The menu is authentic, although it felt a little weird being told what hummus and tabouli was by a white American. I'm Lebanese, I sweat Olive Oil and Lemon Juice with a hint of Zaatar.
Five stars for the fresh baked bread!
E Harris
I went to Suraya for a birthday brunch with two friends and we had the most lovely time! The atmosphere is warm and inviting with stunning natural light. To drink, I started with a gorgeous Spritz featuring gin, contratto apertif, rose water, lemon and brut. This was not the classic Italian Spritz I was used to, but it was a delightful surprise. For my entree, I had the Lahm Bi-Ajeen flatbread with beef, tomato, onion, and spices. You absolutely MUST get it with an egg on top. Cannot wait to return when the garden is finished!
William Hartley
Wonderful dinner. The waitstaff was surprisingly and effectively attentive. When asked about the wine selection, we were introduced to the sommelier who patiently walked us through the options we had proposed. Nothing about this restaurant disappointed. If you’re looking for high quality food and service, look no further than Suraya. As a side note, this restaurant is also worth a bit of travel if that is a consideration.
Arnaldo Duran
This place has a lot of character, the food is very good, the attention very good, the decoration is beautiful, I love its location.
Kimberly Stoveld
My husband and I went to Suraya for a birthday celebration dinner. The garden is beautiful. If you are able to get a seat outside in the garden, do that. Heating available on the cooler evenings. The service was impeccable. Everything came promptly, yet we never felt rushed. The food was outstanding. We went there on a Friday evening, so we ordered from the tasting menus. Highly recommend the fatteh and halibut.
Yigit Ali Ercan
I am obsessed with this place. Every single details is well thought. Great breakfast & brunch spot. Mimosas for life ! Their dinner selection is very new and not there yet. I am sure it will be great soon
Joseph Morais
I do not know if an establishment can produce a better experience than Suraya. The food is perfect; the wait staff are knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The location, decor, and ambiance are exceptional. In warmer months the back area offers some of the most opulent lounge opportunities in the city. I cannot wait to go back.
Alex Ramirez
Friendly staff, amazing setting/vibe and most importantly delicious food!! We did the taste of Suraya and it was so worth it. The best hummus I ever had. The potatoes were insanely good. The lamb entree perfectly cooked and paired with a yogurt sauce. We will be back!
Maura McCann
Truly the best food, service, staff, and ambiance in Philadelphia. Do not miss the Tasting Menu and the unique wine list! From a casual al fresco meal of mezze and drinks to special occasions, Suraya delivers it all. Great playlist too
Randy W.
Great food and good customer service. Only issue was being seated after another group who walked in after us even though we had reservations and were there before this other group. I’m hoping that was accident.
TMS K
The food at Tantura is to die for, the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the vibe is cool albeit cozy somehow. The attention to detail is impressive. Highly recommended for a special occasion (or not).
Katie Reilly
Everything was amazing but it was very cold where we were sitting.
Alexandra Anderson
Our server was awesome. He made great suggestions and the food was incredible. I only wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more of the brisket hummus.
Diana Jimenez
I’m in love with this place. It’s super cozy, friendly and everything is beautifully designed. They have the café in the front part for your quick visits and the regular tables and “bar” seating in the back part, with a lounge at the end and an open area outside. I also love that you can buy their gorgeous mugs in the market.
Annie X
Amazing atmosphere, service, and dishes - especially the dessert! I love how there's a section towards the back for full-course dinners, and a more casual meal/cafe space when you first walk in.
Recommended must-try: Out of the mezza (small plates, appetizers), I loved the chicken livers the most - the pomegranate molasses sauce paired very well with the plate; very flavorful! My favorite part was the dessert - apples & ashta was a very complex plate. There's a lot of variety with their ingredients, but they all seemed to balance well together (pistachios, olive oil cake, meringue).
Overall: 5/5 for incredible quality of food (very interesting creations and creative mix of ingredients)! Would definitely come back to try more desserts and mezza!
Eugenia Gomez
Beautiful place, great service, great atmosphere and delicious food. The kebab platter for brunch was amazing, and the patio is beautiful for hanging out afterwards. Great spot for a date or family brunch
Julian Stewart
We had a great time. The food was good the service was wonderful and Atmosphere was nice also. My new best place. Thank you Suraya.
Bryan Dougherty
Amazing Lebanese food in one of the prettiest restaurant spaces I've ever visited. Get the tasting menu, it's an insane deal for the price. Great cocktails as well.
Ashley Jade
Love this place! Love the atmosphere and the staff! Everyone is so friendly and all the pastries and food are delicious! Thank you for making my day!
Sheri Bechard
Wow! What a dream. From the ambiance to the flavor, simply a unique experience! Still dream about this meal
andrea jarez
Loved this restaurant! Highly recommend it. Excellent service and delicious food.
Kate S.
Just wanted to give an update (March2021)
Weekend morning smaller but still pretty wide range of Coffee service, limited pastries (no ma'amoul😭) and to-go Mezze 👌 don't skip out on the sables they were delicious and just the right amount of sweetness with my morning coffee …
Dheer Mehrotra
Hands down one of the BEST restaurants in Philadelphia. Drinks are AMAZING and everything on the menu is DELICIOUS. I have frequented here on many occasions and have had both their tasting menu and a la carte, YOU CANT GO WRONG!! A must try for sure.
David Meyer
Excellent food all around
Dave Austin
The food and service were phenomenal. Absolutely delicious. Thank you.
Michael Quake
This is my favorite restaurant in Philly!!! The ambiance, food and customer service are incredible! If you are looking for Mediterranean style food this is the place to go for a nice night out.
Anthony Feghali
I always love this place. Today I sat outside in the courtyard. They have a great garden with a fountain. I had the prophet named after Khalil gibrans work the prophet which was a bourbon drink. My wife and I shared hummus, grape leaves, muhammara, feta, and toubleh. I highly recommend the restaurant for a date a group or just to enjoy the atmosphere.
Krishna Iyer
It was our first time here, we enjoyed the food. However, few things that could have been better was the pita bread wasn’t served hot, the kanaffe desert was too cheesy with the mozzarella. It was less desert and more cheese, glad it came with rose syrup but the sesame pita with it wasn’t appealing either …. Otherwise we loved the curried cauliflower, arak tasting was good, the grape leaves was okay.. all in all good for a 1 time visit for being a vegetarian!
Matthew Silverman
great experience. try something with pita, everything cooked perfectly
Arian Rouzbehnia
Good food. Kabob doesn't come with rice or bread
Maleeha Bhatti
Wonderful place to with family and friends. Food was tremendously great. Hope to go to eat delicious food again.
Keaton Daley
Absolutely phenomenal experience. Food and service were excellent. My only worry going in, as is the case with many high end restaurants, is that the portions would be too small, but have no fear! We were both completely stuffed. Would highly recommend!
Jody Lurie
Went for brunch. It's on the pricey side, but the food was fantastic and the staff was courteous. Sat at the chef's counter for a great view of the kitchen. Portions were big, so we definitely had leftovers. Pastries were amazing. Loved the decor and open feel of the space.
Cesc Fabregas
This restaurant is a MUST VISIT. I’ve been here so many times, and the consistency is off the charts. The food, service, music, and ambience is perfect. Thank you Suraya Philly.
L H
The food was so fresh and delicious. And the decor is gorgeous! Can't wait to come for dinner
Leslie Trammell Wright
THEE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER. PERIOD!!!! Customer service was top notch and they pay attention to detail. Never during our time there were our questions or concerns specifically the work of our server. The food was out of this world delish... I was skeptical, a $70 tasting menu didn't sound appealing to me; however, Suraya delivered all of the appeal in real form. From presentation to flavor, every bite was exceptional. The ambiance was perfectly elegant and cozy. I cannot wait to return!
Leslie Venello
Great appetizers, small plates, and desserts! It is a bit of a hike for us but I highly recommend and hope to go back soon!
Osa Emokpae
The food was good. Does the menu price reflect the portion size? Not really. And for a place that prides themselves as a middle eastern restaurant; the quality of service my group received was severely lacking. It was my first time there, and I will not be going back.
If you are looking for good food and do not mind the “I am better than you “ vibe most staff in the establishment give off; then Suraya is the place for you.
Rizz
Such a cool spot! Their hours are super weird and kinda annoying but if you can get in I would suggest you eat there ! Their chicken hummus was so so yummy and the vibe was cool ! Their tables are kinda close together so keep that in mind but worth the trip !
Shaan Desai
Dined in the garden during a fall evening. It was a wonderful atmosphere (I did not feel like I was in Philly) and had adequate heating lamps. Staff was attentive and helpful. Food had amazing flavors and wine selection was unique and superb (featuring wines from Lebanon). This is a great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.
Natalie Bachich
I would come here every night if I could! My friends/family hosted a bridal shower for me over the weekend and it was a dream. The food, the service, the decor- everything was perfect! Shoutout to Dana for making the vent just wonderful. I enjoyed the meal so much that I actually went back for dinner the next night. Gabe was an amazing bartender and guided us through the menu. We ordered a bunch of small plates but he recommended we try the cauliflower and the tahini verrine (dessert). So glad he did- they were delightful!
Reda kobeissi
It's a Lebanese restaurant. Make your food Halal and there would be no reservations available for months. Take one for the team.
Rich Lampert
Outstanding dinner, with a wide variety of dishes served as part of a customizable tasting menu. Great service, too. Waiter offered great advice on wine and provided clear descriptions of menu items when we had questions
R.J. Weld
Food and drink was incredible as well as the atmosphere. Service could be better for the price, though. Did try this place near the end of the pandemic so that could be the reason for the subpar service. Certainly will be returning again.
Dave
Good alternative to the other middle eastern restaurant in the city that is difficult to get into, Zahav. Cocktails were fine. Food was quite good, but maybe too many dishes with cilantro, it was almost on everything.
Desert has been great every time.
Nick Cap
Go on the weekend for Taste of Suraya with a big group and you'll have a blast.
Victor Patel
Delicious mixed Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. Kebabs, dips, pastries were perfect. Nice ambiance. Service was slightly lacking.
Apeksha Dave
Amazing handsdown. The food is excellent and fresh, of course, and the flavors work so well together in ways I never imagined. For those who are vegetarian, LOTs of vegetarian options--my husband and I got all the hot vegetarian starters and the main vegetarian hot dish and finished it all happily (albeit it was definitely a bit too much food). Asides from the food though, I have to say the service is really what takes this restaurant over the top. We had the KINDEST waiters who were so eager and quick with everything--they had such a great attitude and made the whole experience 10x better. Suraya should make sure they keep their staff happy, because the staff are one of the restaurant's true gems. Overall great experience, would recommend.
Kristin D
Suraya is one of the best restaurants in the Philadelphia area. This place is a well oiled machine from top down. The staff are attentive and kind, your water glass is never empty, the ambiance is top notch (recommend sitting in the garden!) and the food is some of the most unique and delicious food I’ve had. Their starter hummus style dips and dishes that are part of the taste of Suraya are fantastic. The mains and dessert options are all inventive and show care and passion with each flavor. I will miss this restaurant the most when we move!
Steve Morrison
Some of the best lebanese food you'll get not just in Philly but anywhere.
Sapan Maj
had a great time today for my father in laws birthday brunch.
we had a large group (8+3 kids) and Jess, our server, took amazing care of us.
food was amazing as usual. thank you so much!
Amy Penick
a heavenly oasis of a meal - certainly worth the splurge if you can afford it. I wasn't sure about the per person cost (typically I will aim for meals that are $10-20pp) but we walked away feeling very satiated, refreshed, astounded at the quality of food and service, and with enough leftovers for another full, hefty meal. highly, highly recommend. their outdoor seating not only felt covid-safe (I am immunocompromised so I take extra precaution when I can) but really beautifully designed and maintained. so, so impressed. haven't felt as relaxed and blissed as I did after that mean in a good while.
Suzie Balling
Spectacular! Golden Belt cocktail, baba ganoush, muhammara, labne, and fresh pita on a picturesque patio. Highly recommend!
Taylor Chausky
The ingredients used and the execution of these dishes are divine. Flavors that are both comforting yet exciting. The tasting menu is the way to go, all of the mezza dips are perfect and come with hot pita bread. I also enjoyed the crispy potatoes and the Halibut. If you haven't been here, get a reservation asap.
One note to chef: I hate grapefruit, and it was on the Halibut, but it wasn't listed on the menu. I'll still be back lol
Phil
Came for my birthday dinner, I think this may have been the best restaurant I've been to in my life? The food was so tasty everyone was amazed. Great experience and beautiful indoor dining area.
You have to order through an app which is mildly annoying but quickly overlooked when the food gets out.

Parking: They have a dedicated parking lot on the street behind, but not sure why they still charge $10 for parking.
Location: Easy to find, lovely ambience (much prefer the garden though). The proximity to the tracks is a little off putting but you get used to talking over the sound of the occasional train passing by soon.
Food: Not a dish we didn't like! We tried the fixed price menu and between the 4 of us must've sampled almost everything. Loved it.
Drinks: All the drinks were good too but special mention to the manager for going above and beyond to explain the significance and flavor profile of the Arak. It's a distinct, acquired taste though so you've been warned.
Overall, highly recommended for a special occasion.

Mellow ambience, beautiful open kitchen, gorgeous back patio looks like Love Island. We easily had the worst seats in the house and still loved it. The hummus, Arnabeet Mekle, and Fattouch were incredible, as we're the fries. The beef kebab was a bit of a let down. It was well textured and seasoned on the outside but the interior didn't have the same flavor. The veggies were perfectly grilled. The cocktails were good. A gorgeous spot for a date. Service was great though it took some time to flag down our server for a box. I'd go again if I can get a table.

Absolutely fantastic start to finish. Music, decor and cocktails were great but more importantly, food and service were both a 10/10. I’m from NY and would make the drive back down just for another visit to Suraya alone

After a rough initial start the service improved and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the food, drink, and willingness to hear and respond to customers' feedback!! Expect a good experience!!

Went to Suraya for my wife’s birthday, and we both got the tasting menu. Started out with some Cava and a variety of hummus that were all excellent, the fresh pita really brings it together, for the middle course we got the lamb and yellow tail tartare both of which were great. The yellow tail was particularly very good. Entrees again lamb and fish both great, halibut kabobs definitely the star of the show between the two. Dessert was good and presentation was very beautiful as well. The Lebanese wine selection was great, and the bottles they had available paired very well with the tasting menu, and the wine menu as a whole was very well thought out.
My wife and I always frequented Zahav when we were craving high quality Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine, but after our dinner Suraya will be our new go to.
Overall, pricing was great for the quality of the food and experience. Great spot to celebrate a special occasion with your significant other.

Bar seating might be available without reservation. Good service. Hummous, baba ganoush, fatteh (chickpeas and egg plant), arnabeet mekle (crispy cauliflower), kebabs, new caledonian prawns, charred long hots (side) were good. Dry aged ribeye was so so.

Came here for brunch at it was so good! Great food, service and atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out.

Favorite restaurant in Philly. Amazing ambiance great outdoor garden that really comes alive in the evening. Make a reservation, it is worth it.

Fist of all, unfortunately staff weren’t that welcoming.
Food was very good.
We were here for brunch.
For brunch prices are fixed per person (adult or a kid same price)
Prices are not cheap but acceptable.
Ordering and paying was through the web.
The system of food is appetizers then main course.
One plate of mixed appetizers (u can’t change it)
For main course you can choose from the menu.

Nice decorations inside but food was okay for me.

Get the tasting menu - so many great dips, fantastic service and SUCH an amazing atmosphere!

Food delicious, we had almost every appetizer, the halibut, branzino all delicious staff excellent.
After being a customer since day 1, celebrating many occasions there. 6 of us celebrating 2 anniversary, 1 birthday, and they wouldn't serve a cake that a friend had made for us . They wanted $ 7 pp =$42 . We asked the manager a few times and on a Tuesday night, with empty tables she refused. That doesn't make good business sense nor did it please any of us. They didn't offer us drinks or dessert for the table. I guess when you have a name, its no longer about the customer s experience. So, next year a new place to celebrate!

Just wanted to thank the team at Suraya, especially Patrick, for being extremely kind, accommodating and considerate. They helped me out with a special request and I was blown away with their responsiveness and generosity. Many thanks to Patrick for his amazing help, and the chefs for their delicious cooking! Can't wait to come back in-person sometime in the Spring hopefully!

Fantastic flavor, great service.

What's better than excellent Mediterranean apps and mains? Excellent Mediterranean apps and mains *and* excellent pastry. I'm a huge fan of crullers, but they're so often dismal, soulless rings that become like sad, sandy paste as you eat. Suraya's are the real deal, with a moist chewiness that keeps you coming back for more. I generally prefer a light, plain icing, but the rose and pistachio topping is just enough to make it more interesting without overpowering the nearly perfect pastry beneath.

The garden was absolutely beautiful. I was surprised at how warm I was for it to be a 30 degree night. Suraya really made sure to invest in their garden space so you can enjoy the ambiance and food regardless of the time of year. And I cant forget the food... Everything was delicious and cooked with care. The service was impeccable. As you can tell, I'll definitely be returning!

The menu is unusual for many Americans but if you like Mediterranean food or are willing to give it a try, you won't leave disappointed. The atmosphere is very nice. A bit dark but nice and relaxing. The tables in the dining room are a bit too close together but all in all it's very well done inside. The service is excellent. Nothing to complain about there. The menu is limited and pricey but the quality of the food is amazing. The servers do a great job of explaining the food and helping to make choices. I'm definitely going back and I recommend this place.

Delicious food in a lively environment! The service was wonderful and the decor is beautiful. The ganoushe was delicious and the pastries are even better

I’ve taken many family and friends to this location and I am always satisfied beyond expectation. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance of elegance and warmth. It is both refined and unpretentious. The servers are professional, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The cuisine is a true experience, with a dynamic and ever evolving menu. Some of my favorite items are no longer listed on their online take-out menu — I wish I had a better memory — but I can solidly recommend the prawns and halabi kebab. I’d give more than five stars if I could. :)

Excellent meal and friendly staff. Pastries are world class, especially the cruller. Wine was delicious and sommelier was very informative and knowledgeable. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the weekend menu. They do a tasting menu on the weekend and while everything was delicious, it was way too much food.

Great for having a platter party with group of friends or family! Lots of options for shareable courses. Interesting mocktails too! I tried the Jallab which I consider perfect for a hot summer day!

The food was very delicious. We visited this restaurant for the first time upon my friend my friends suggestion and have order the tasting menu. So that we can taste all the sides, hot, main course and all deserts.
But when we stepped into the restraunt, there’s a lady who received us and asked to show the covid report and I’d proof as to follow some rules by the restaurant. She was very rude and arrogant in speaking and felt like she is judging the person upon color (we saw that lady is commenting on us with another staff in the reception).
Reception staff should always be very friendly to the customers and value them. Rest all staff are very friendly. I hope this comment will be seen by the restraunt owner.

Great food & atmosphere. The garden is amazing at night w plenty of heaters.
Melissa McClure
Such incredible food. All of the reviews are correct. My date and I got one mezza and two entrees to share and were plenty full, so no need to splurge for the $70 menu if you don't want to spend that price. Go here and enjoy!

One of the friendliest places I have ever been. Never had Lebanese cuisine - LOVE IT!! The wait staff and bartenders all took the time to explain everything we ordered. Exceptional drinks with unusual, yet tasty, ingredients. Perfect place for Saturday or Sunday brunch. Be prepared to wait for a table but it's more than worth it. If you love fresh, awesome pastries, this IS the place for you!
Jaime K.
First time trying brunch and I was really impressed. From their unique take on a mimosa to the amazing entree and pastry options, the menu is on point. They have also done a great job creating physical barriers between tables. The staff was amazing and helpful, even though most of your ordering is done via Toast Tab. If you're comfortable with outdoor dining, this is one of the most ideal situations I've seen this year. I'm a huge fan and will be back
Michael Machlin
Came in with high expectations given the reviews. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. The cauliflower starter (while cooked well) was excessively salty, as were the vegetables served with the kafta kebab. Pita was good, but you don’t need to come here for that.
Unless you’re prioritizing ambience or love salty food, take your money elsewhere.

I came here twice.
The first time made this place jump all the way to the best restaurant I've ever been too, then the second time, I never wanted to come back.
The first time I came here service was great, the food was even more amazing, the bill came out to be extremely expensive, but it didn't matter, I enjoyed the 1-hour long wait steak so much I didn't care that the place was extremely dim-lighted so much that I could barely see my food indoors.
The second time, we were seated outside uncomfortable squished in between a couple and a family. The server we had who was asian, brushed me off more than 5 times, she wasn't attentive, and quickly got the family next to me more times than they needed. The service horrible, and honestly the steak wasn't as good as last time. It wasn't worth $100 anymore.
I don't care if I come back to this place, because the server was really bad last time and the seating was horrific. They should have a better strategy with seating people outside.
Parking: Street parking. Good Luck, it's fishtown.
Price: Expensive, prepare to pay a lot.
People: Upscale, Bourgeoise.
Place: Decorated beautifully, NEEDS better lighting. There's a difference between intimate and straight up dark room.
Food: Meh-Good-Great. Toss up.
Service: Great-Terrible. Toss up. Good luck.
Bottom-line: If I'm paying an arm and a leg, I expect the service and food to be worth it. It's not.
Guillermo Ortega
Great environment, service, food. I should take a star because the portions were a bit small for the price, but considering they are going for a high end cuisine at high price, I won't. Just order enough. The immediate environment is a hit or miss. A lot of construction happening around. You need to plan accordingly if you are coming with a weelchair

Nice restaurant. Excellent brunch. Server was professional.

Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Go here with an empty stomach - this is not one of those fine dining restaurants where you still walk out a bit hungry. Never been so full in my life. The dry aged ribeye was fantastic.

Amazing and unforgettable night for my daughter’s wedding dinner. Everything was top notch delicious and service also superb. Thank you Suraya Restaurant. We will be back for more delicious food.
Emily Cashin
Beautiful cafe and market space. Delicious and well-planned menu for any time of day.
Thomas Tylek
We had a fantastic table in the garden. Loved the appetizers. Unfortunately half our dinner party had the kawarma and every one of them were burnt and charred. For a dinner that cost nearly $400, I would expect the main course to not be burnt for half the party. At least the center that wasn't burnt was great. Not going to be eating here again.
Stephanie Johnson
The service and the food was truly truly amazing I suggest as we did you each try something different and share

Delicious food & amazing cocktails. Def. Worth visiting
My dish was undercooked but they took care of it immediately and were extremely apologetic. Part of our bill was comped as well. Beyond attentive staff.
Andrej Prsa
Good quality food, friendly staff; exorbitant prices. I'd give it 5 stars for quality but they asked us to hurry and leave because they needed the table for the next reservation, which I thought was entirely inappropriate for a fine dining place. I'd avoid it on Fri/Sat evenings.
William Kwon
A true gem in Philly. What more do I have to say? Everything is so pleasant from foods to service.
Susanne Brunner
Amazing food and service. Can't wait to go back!

I had a pretty good meal at this place. It's a large, beautiful restaurant with a great vibe. We originally had a reservation in the garden but when they closed it due to rain they were able to seat us inside the restaurant which we really appreciated. This place seems really popular and they could have easily just cancelled the reservation, so it was a nice surprise that they were still able to take us (although we did have to call earlier in the day to confirm).
We ate the pre fix weekend menu which was honestly a great way to sample a large variety of their very high quality offerings. I thought the sauces were the highlight of the meal for me; the hummus, baba ganoush and muhammara were delicious. I thought the Halabi Kebab was spiced too aggressively and I didn't really enjoy that, although maybe that is just down to personal taste.
Overall, I thought this place was really delicious. I might not come back here again if I was on vacation just because there's so many places to try, but I could definitely see coming here more regularly if I lived in the area.

My family and I ate at their Cafe area.
Nice staff and overall great ambiance.
