The food was fresh flavorful. There were a variety of food options on the menu. They had two additional specials they were serving that day. If you like hot sauces, they have a variety of options available. Our server was very attentive and friendly. It's a little small so expect to have to wait for a table. The lighting in the restaurant is a bit dim. They also have a small parking lot so expect to have to park on the street. I would return to the location again.

My dish here was an easy 5/5 stars (even though it was on the small side). The black coffee I ordered on the other hand was an easy 0/5 stars. Service has room for improvement as others have noted but again, the food was awesome, and that’s what I care about most. I’ll be back, so take that for whatever it’s worth.

I have always enjoyed SCBC, but this is my first chance to review it. So, on to the review - definitely go eat here. Go for breakfast so that you can be seated right away. Waaaaay to many people want to go here for brunch, so if this is you, be prepared to wait. They have a big patio area so if you go when the weather is nice the seating capacity is pretty much doubled. If you do end up having to wait, they offer free coffee in their little waiting area which is a really nice touch. The employees are always friendly and I have always had great service. I had the banana bread French toast for the first time and it was delicious. Granted, it was quite decadent, but still delicious. I'm so glad they survived COVID, and I look forward to future visits.

What a quaint, delicious spot with unique offerings and excellent service. I loved that the fresh fruit offering had bananas and berries rather than the stock melons and pineapple. I loved the bacon artichoke omelet as well. For those who need to wait for a table—it’s a small dining room—they serve coffee as an added “perk!” (Pun intended) It was too chilly today but we’ll be back to try the outdoor area.

We ate here for the first time today. It's a very small place, with only 4-5 tables inside plus a bar and a booth or two. Expect a wait, even on a Tuesday at 1030am. The menu is tiny. The mimosas are very good offering various ciders to mix with OJ. The food was also really solid. I wouldn't consider it an Omahas best though like most people seem to. Menu is too small and the food was a bit bland.

Oh. My God. THIS place made me smile sunny-side up! There's a reason why this place usually has quite the wait on a weekend mornings (don't worry, you can have a cup of Joe while you wait). But after hearing about it for SO LONG I finally woke up early enough to go check it out. They have seating inside at tables, at a bar, and outside on the porch. Their menu is simple: the classic American breakfasts... with a few special twists to make them truly their own. Menu options range from $7-$15 for mains. I got the Cali Club: an egg sandwich on a buttery croissant with their own sauce and avocado. I LOVED the hot sauce they serve with it: a local brand right out of Bellevue. I decided to add a side of hashbrowns too. Good news: they also have delicious vegan options as well. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this place for a breakfast date, with family, or with a small group of friends. I left with a smile on my face!

This is my new favorite breakfast place! Came her with my wife for the first time and had a chili omelet, it seriously had almost a whole avocado and a huge load of cheese! The peach jam was a hit with me, not syrupy peachy flavor, more like peaches turn to a consistency of apple sauce. The service was good and I like the small feel of the place!

I've been here a number of times. It is one of my friends favorite places to go. Today we tried the macaroni bolo. It came with toast and fries. For the price it felt like a lot of food, so this is something I would recommend. It also tasted great, which is probably more important. We did the burrata toast (one of my bff's favorite items) and the Cali club. The burrata toast is very consistent. Today the Cali club was more a 4 star then a 5, but I've had it where I've been in love with it. Previous review Did the vegan options today. I liked that they had both options of regular and vegan. My gf who is vegan raves about this place. The vegan biscuits and gravy sounded much more interesting with its addition of truffle oil. It was great tasting, though after awhile a bit overwhelming. Half an order is perfect for me. Also did the tofu rancheros. This was done well but was not as outstanding. Solid dish. The French toast was great. My friend ordered it so I had a taste. It's a very busy and popular place. There was a line up on a Thursday at 9am. It's hard to find a good vegan selection, and this place did have that. I'm not sure if that's the draw, or if there normal breakfasts are mind blowing. Parking was a bit of a pain as the lot they have is very small. We ended up parking in an adjacent lot but we weren't sure if we might get towed.

Sort of elbow to elbow but the food and staff make it worth it. I've never had breakfast food that taste so fresh. Every plate that came out the kitchen, I wanted to try. So I will definitely be back. Also I loved how the menu was short. Didn't have flip through 5 pages just to find something worth eating. They do have a vegan menu as well. I'm not vegan but it did catch my eye and want to also try them as well.

We’ve eaten at a lot of Omaha’s breakfast places, and this one is the best. I’m not sure how they make better toast and scrambled eggs better than anyone else — it honestly can’t be explained. For what it’s worth, I also disagree with the portion size comments. My husband, son and I ordered different menu items (Saddle Creek Standard, Banana Pancakes and a side of toast), and we had plenty. Looking forward to the Countryside Village location opening!

It's always good. I love the changing menu, it gives me the opportunity to try something I normally wouldn't, and I'm never disappointed. Today was an artichoke omelette and the infamous banana pancakes. (Coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice) There's a wait for a reason - it's a small place, but good things come in small packages - and amazing things come from SCBC. Bring a book, bring friends, if there's a wait, spend it thoughtfully - enjoy the experience!

The staff there was incredibly friendly and nice. They showed me around, and let me take pics with no problem. The food was also delicious! I got the burrata with scrambled eggs and it was exactly the thing I needed to start my morning.

Excellent breakfast! Had the ham & eggs and the artichoke omlett. Each fantastic. Water and coffee refills always promptly and great coffee! Amazing service for group of 4 between 10am and 11am.

My husband and I are from Iowa and we’re in town for a concert. Found this spot on Google and so glad we went! Ordered Burrata toast and lox toast, both 10/10, and the braised bacon was an 11! Super friendly staff, everything was wonderful. Would definitely go back if we’re ever in the Omaha area again!

We each had different items and all of them were perfect. The staff was professional and quick. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality and amount of food. My sister and I shared the French toast to cap our savory with something sweet, and it was fantastic. Photo is of the Cali with a bite of the Lox.

Quaint little place in an old garage. The food is EXCELLENT, especially the banana bread French toast, their homemade bloody mary is *chefs kiss* perfect, and the servers are super nice. Downside the wait is exceptionally long for food when they are busy. But it's worth it.

So I will start with the downside of this place parking is a little difficult.... That being said the food is absolutely 110% the most amazing breakfast I've had in a long time. The service was great the customer experience is good. They have outdoor dining for nicer weather days. A wide variety of locally sourced hot sauces. The bloody Mary's by all accounts are the best thing ever. Glad we found this little gem! Thanks love this place.

The saddle Creek breakfast club is a true gem. The place is nice, clean, small and cozy. The staff extremely friendly and the food....OMG the food is just out of this world delicious. Cooked to the perfection. The sausage patties were just right, not dry, the omelette perfectly cooked and super delicious. And everything was healthy... It's just one of the best mom and pop food place in Omaha.

My spouse and I LOVE this place!! We are the annoying vegans that come by about 2 to 3 times a month. The vegan options are DIVINE! Price is a little above average but you're going out to get good food and served by the friendliest servers! Wish your whole menu was vegan (everyone can ear vegan). Looking forward to more delicious meals with the SCBC fam!! PS: just read someone's 2 star review. It's unfortunate that they didnt meet what they expected... BUT, I can tell you that people are people, everyone's gotta have a bad day once in a blue moon and the best remedy is to greet it with a smile! The ladies who work there are awesome people, you just have to treat them like you would want to be treated ❤️

Vegan brunch. Great vibe from the moment we walked in. Diverse staff. Sat at the bar and met another patron who visited with us the whole time we were there. Food was scrumptious! Tofu scramble looked a bit plain but tasted DELICIOUS! So glad we came.

Flavors! You want your tastebuds to go on an adventure, this is the place to experience such a thing! The place is very cozy and modern with relaxing music (I felt as though we were on a beach) and amazing staff! If still available, I HIGHLY recommend the White Peach Sangria. As for food, the French Toast is beyond any other I have had before; almost like a funnel cake, but even better! The Lox was extremely refreshing and had a well balanced flavor of dill with the bite of fresh onions (I'm not an onion guy, but the flavor made every bite so much better!) And the Burrata...what an amazing blend of soft mozzarella with strawberry rhubarb jam! OMG! Again, you want FLAVOR with your food, SCBC is the place to go!

Thought it was just OK. Somewhat pricey and a limited menu. Meals around us as well as ours were little less than normal size and with minimal ingredients. Was expecting more due to the hype. Small place with tight spacing. Meh. Sry but have had plenty better bfasts elsewhere.

The wait was about average for brunch in town on a Sunday, they will be having patio seating soon. The food was fresh, local, and absolutely amazing. I had the Chilaquiles, and the whole plate was delicious. My wife had the Cali club and that croissant was so flaky and buttery.

It's the first time we went to this place, but it is LEGIT. We heard about the banana pancakes (pictured here) and they did rock. BUT that plate near the top was my wife's Vegan Banana French Toast, and that was even MORE legit. Like super good. Also, the hash browns were the best ever - made with some crazy process that just might be witchcraft. LOVE THIS PLACE. Get there early though because it fills up fast!

I LOVE this place!!! Amazing food, cute patio (recently updated/improved) and high quality food options. I dream about their banana bread french toast - it is so yummy...and that orange juice...I mean come on. The only reason they aren't a five-star is because of their wait time/reservation mess. They have a parking lot of about 5 spots and no way to reserve or check-in before coming so you just have to come and find out that there is an hour wait. I highly suggest they try working with Yelp to have customers check-in before coming. That way there is a line but you don't have to sit or stand outside for 45mins + waiting...you can just show up when your table is almost ready! Highly recommend checking this spot out...go on a week day if you can!

This will always be one of my favorite places to eat. Weekends get crazy so plan on a wait. Also parking can be a little nuts too, so plan on that. They change their menus out, plus have a separate lunch and breakfast menu. Their creativity with vegan food is worth a visit! I have not been disappointed yet! Love the cider mimosa!

Finally was able to try SCBC. I’m happy to say that’s one of the best breakfast I’ve tried. The service was excellent. All the staff was welcoming and Joselyn did a great job. Everything was delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection, croissant was toasty, flaky and buttery, and bacon xtra crispy. Everything combined was like a breakfast party in your mouth. Their braised bacon is spectacular and with a dash of Crazy Gringa Peri Peri sauce was out of this world. I would definitely try to come back. I’ve actually tried in 6 occasions to eat at SCBC. The fist 5 times were during the weekend and the line of ppl waiting stretched around the front of the building, that’s until realizing how hard is to even find parking. I have a personal policy of not waiting in any line over 15 mins to spend money, but now would definitely consider making an exemption.

The menu isn't gluten-free friendly, and if you eat gluten-free and vegan there isn't anything you can order without changes/substitutions. I went here on Sunday Oct 2nd. I ordered tea and the hot water had flecks of dirt or coffee grounds in it and it tasted off. My water glass had a lipstick print on the rim, I assume it went through the dishwasher and just wasn't checked. Our server didn't take our order until we'd been sitting for 20 minutes even though we told her we would be quick. I had someplace to be so I ended up not ordering anything, which was fine because again, there was nothing I could eat without substitutions. Just offering a gluten-free tortilla would be a simple fix in my opinion. This place is clearly very popular so I don't think my experience was universal, but I don't think I'll be going back.

This place continue to be a delicious haven of vegan breakfast delights. I had the traditional vegan breakfast and my wife had the Happy Toast. They were so flavorful, intentional, and well crafted. This is by far one of the best vegan breakfast places we've been to and highly recommend it (it's hard to find good vegan breakfast places)

First I love Breakfast, second the Saddle Creek Breakfast club is second to none in these United States. My wife and I have eaten at some amazing restaurants, for breakfast, around the country like Café 222 in San Diego and Elizabeth's in New Orleans but truly we have a real keeper here in Omaha. Absolutely delicious! With locally sourced ingredients, the flavors were on point and well prepared. Shortrib eggs Benedict with jalapeno jam and chorizo biscuits and gravy with sausage patties on the side. Parking was tight along the side street. A smallish space that I expect gets pretty busy on weekends, glad we came for brunch on a weekday. Closed mondays.

SCBC is THE go-to brunch spot in the Omaha metro. Took my family here while they were visiting from out of town. This was our first visit. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. Small little breakfast and lunch restaurant with patio seating. I ordered the banana bread french toast with fruit and my daughter ordered the banana pancakes with an egg on the side. Both dishes were very tasty and I would order again. The appearance of the staff was a bit unprofessional even for this little place which was a drawback for me, but I would recommend if you are looking for something different.

This place was amazing. The staff is super nice and attentive. Let me start by saying their coffee was delicious but the French toast was AMAZING! I would highly recommend. I was passing through Omaha and had a friend take me to Saddle Creek. I've been to similar places but the food and service was as good as any place I'd been. There was a bit of a wait on the Sat morning we went but it was worth it. Plus you can get coffee while you wait. I got the vegan banana bread french toast and it did not disappoint. The coffee was great also and the servers did a great job. When back in OMA I will be going again.

Wow. Omaha no longer lacks a good breakfast spot!!! Finally, we have discovered bacon (and breakfast) nirvana! Three types of bacon, hand ground patties, yummy biscuits and gravy, cali club. Their vegan menu is to die for as well. Vegan french toast? OH YES! Not to mention their yummy, made in house bloody mary, coffee and fresh OJ to fit whatever vibe you have that day. While you can wait for a bit, it's worth it. We've become regulars and the staff is *chef's kiss* Thank you SCBC! :)

Had to wait a bit due to Covid restrictions but it was worth it when we came for Sunday brunch. I had the Standard breakfast and it was really tasty. Shared the vegan banana bread French toast with my wife and it was awesome. I'm not a vegan but wanted to try it - very satisfying. Wife had the smoked salmon, also very good. Service was exceptional, very friendly, very helpful. Even though it is quite a drive for us, we will come back. We enjoyed it very much.

Phenomenal food. Tasty coffee. Got the chilaquiles. Was different than what I am used to in mexican cuisine. Flour tortilla that requires a fork and knife, but rice was very yummy.

First time going here, we were very very happy with our experience! It was busy for a weekday morning, but we were seated quickly and with plenty of pleasantries. Out server was helpful and friendly (she even helped me pick out some new hot sauces to try!), the food came out quickly and FANTASTIC! I finally had a chance to eat at the Saddle Creek Breakfast Club. It was a busy, friendly & a bustling atmosphere. There was a 30 min wait (don't worry!!!) the staff made it fly by with coffee while you are waiting. It gave my friend & I time to catch up before we sat down to eat. Food is amazing. Service is so wonderful. Sitting outside-finally the weather is cooperative, but even though the restrictions make you sit farther apart from other tables, you can finally talk above a hushed voice or even a whisper (if it's something juicy😉) and you get to feel a bit normal again if just for awhile. You just have to remember one thing...the tables are farther apart so people can go to a restaurant and eat, that means the server has less tables, less tables=less tips...tip your server a $1 or $2 more than normal, and be kind. It makes all the difference. ♓

This place is like a scene out of San Junipero from Blacklist. It's a cool place that is hipster-central for sure. It appears to be a pretty cool place to grab a bite. We notices single patrons, parties of two, and our family of four. First/Second impression = get a bigger parking lot and offer fountain pop. Our waitress was great. We had great service and we were given a sample of something on the menu that we had a question about. I had the "Benny". It was good. Personally ,I thought the beef was a little too sweet and threw off traditional flavor of eggs Benedict. The steak breakfast burrito was pretty solid(I only tried one bite). Overall, I would recommend the place for sure. We may go back, but I definitely recommend trying it.

I was there with a buddy, and we visited for a long time. We never felt any pressure to get up and leave. Great things come to those who wait. This is the case on Sunday’s with a longer wait that is well worth it. Everything is fresh and full of flavor. The team is super friendly and take time to appreciate your business and for stopping by. We all had the biscuit and gravy and it had nice chunks of sausage with a unique, but savory spice profile. The local hot sauces are a great compliment to the perfectly cooked eggs. Yes I said singular on the biscuit. Have no fear it is large and filling. I cannot wait to treat myself to their Banana Pancake on my next visit. I hope to see this place grow and expand so they can treat the tastebuds of more and more appreciative breakfast foodies.

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and there was a dozen people waiting. Being alone I chose to get vegan french toast to go. Even in a box the food looked beautiful and tasted amazing. Every time we order breakfast from SCBC (what I imagine the cool kids call it), we are so, so pleased. The last couple times I picked up I had ordered their current breakfast burrito of choice. And each time I have turned to my wife and said “this is the best burrito I have ever had. Not just breakfast burrito, the best burrito period.” Of course, her food is tasty as well. And we love that they have a solid vegan option since our son has an egg allergy. Everyone wins and the SCBC maintains its status of streets ahead of the competition.

My boyfriend and I had been meaning to try this new place for some time now. We finally managed to make it in on fathers day and to our surprise they were able to seat us right away. Service was quick and friendly, our waitress convinced us to try the house made cinnamon rolls (amazing). I ate the eggs Benedict and I have to say, the braised short ribs is a very nice twist to a classic breakfast meal. I will definitely be going back to try other menu options.

I had the breakfast burger and I will say was it not only the tastiest burger I have ever had with the thick cut bacon and gooey fried egg but the beef was fresh and amazing!!!! The food was absolutely exceptional (and the mimosas were gigantic; albeit made with cider, though it didn't seem to affect flavor), and it's astonishing how this old building was renovated and converted into a brunch destination. There are only 5-6 parking spots, but thankfully free street parking is a few steps away. I'll definitely be back.

The place is small and popular, so expect a wait on weekend mornings-ours was only about 30 mins on Saturday at ~11 am. Service was fantastic too—staff were careful and thoughtful about my friend’s food allergy. Will be back soon!

My friend and I went here for a socially-distant brunch date. Their outside dining space is super adorable! The food was spectacular. My friend had a kimchi omlet that she adored and I had the loaded hasbrowns which was amazing. The hasbrowns were perfectly cooked, there was just the right amount of gravy and bacon. I was laying in bed, dreaming of home (Denver) and the Denver Biscuit Company. A quick Google search of vegan B&G led me to this hidden gem. The assortment of fruit wasn’t the usual melons in most places but a great assortment of berries with kiwi. They also purchase coffee and salsas locally. The menu isn’t large but you will find something to enjoy.

I can not stand how busy they get but I can totally understand why... the food here is phenomenal!! SCBC tofu rancheros for life! I would definitely stay away from the coffee though. It's worse than the crappiest brand out there ( Sorry not sorry Amateur Coffee ). Cant say much about the atmosphere though... it's pretty standard, very small and very minimal seating. They should definitely expand their restaurant to seat more people. The service was great! Very kind and friendly employees. Get the tofu rancheros, I'm telling you, you're not going to regret it!!!

I've been patiently waiting for my chance to try scbc. Finally found myself in the neighborhood early one Saturday morning. Avoided the usual wait, which is hard to do with such a small restaurant. Enjoyed the atmosphere and service was great. I'd venture to say their version of eggs Benedict was one of the best that I've tried before. Definitely recommend for a breakfast or brunch. I can't wait to go back and try more.

One of the best breakfast stops in Omaha tucked away off the Dundee Peanut round-a-bout. Small restaurant and no reservations so up to an hour for seating on weekends..but coffee flows free for those who wait and the food is worth it every time. Our favorite? Eggs Benny re-imagined with braised short ribs and jalapeno jelly (mouth watering) but honestly everything on the menu is awesome. There are gluten-free options and a large vegetarian selection as well. Open 7am to 2pm only.

I had the eggs Benedict and I almost wanted to ask for their hollandaise to go it was so delicious. I’ve had a LOT of bennies in my day and this was this was among the best. They lost two stars because the bathroom plumbing seemed really backed up and/or old but you could smell it in the dining area, pretty gross. The food also took a very long time and the poached eggs were slightly overdone.

Best breakfast in Omaha. Seriously. In a city known for some great brunch spots, Saddle Creek Breakfast Club stands out from the rest. I have tried many dishes on the menu and each one is unique, filling, and incredibly delicious. If you like traditional breakfast dishes, the eggs benedict with braised short ribs is one of the best things I have ever eaten. If you are especially hungry, the very tasty breakfast burrito will make sure you leave satisfied. If you have a sweet tooth (like me) do yourself a favor and get the banana pancakes or french toast. If you are looking for something a little lighter the tofu rancheros (vegan) can't be beat. The only downside of SCBC is there is often a wait but I promise you it is well worth it. I honestly can't say enough about this place so if you haven't been, just go already!

Also worth it. Super double-bonus: You get to speed around Omaha's mini public go-kart track, aka the Round-aPeanut, right out front. You need to eat here.

Get here early if you dont want to wait and if you do have to wait, they give you coffee. Service has always been prompt and courteous. Food has never left me disappointed. I've yet to be let down with anything I've had. Cant forget to mention, $6 mimosas and $7 bloody mary's. Take the time make a trip. Parking can be rough but the walk will do you good!

This is the first place where I waited for 45 minutes for a table and at the end of the meal thought, "This was worth every minute I waited." I have always felt breakfast was kind of a boring meal and end up skipping it. This... this place, SCBC, changed my mind. I don't know how they did it but, this was honestly the best breakfast I have experienced in my life. I tried my meal with (mostly without) multiple different hot sauces they had available and every bite was bliss. Eat here, get the Eggs Benny and realize that breakfast can be more than a routine, it can be the reason you get out of bed.

Heard good things about this little "gem" and after muddling around a bit (was told it was just off Saddle Creek drive) found it. Got there Sunday noon which is "high traffic" time for them.....but I'm a widower/single so was seated at the bar w/in :15. OK, now to the food and service -- both merit the 5 stars I have rated them. I was/am highly taken with these breakfast items: Kimchee Omelet; French mushroom omelet and anything that has their hashbrowns (all made in-house[not from a frozen bag] which makes them uniquely delicious). I have vegan acquaintances who swear by their vegan entrees. The Good Lord alone knows how they manage to pull off all of these consistently high level dishes from a minuscule kitchen To top things off, their wait staff is exceptional led by their manager Jocelyn who works right along side them. They make a point of knowing your name and recall it every time you come in.....[I've returned a half dozen times in last four months😉]. Two servers, in particular, deserve mention - Nicole and Walker Always gracious and never get flustered by the waiting hungry ones. For what it's worth, their restrooms are spotless and well furnished to handle any family emergencyven a diaper change table in the men's room! Checkout the SCBC. I think you'll be glad you did

I am a very big hot sauce fan, and they introduced me to what is now my favorite hot sauces they are called crazy gringa and they come out with new flavors all the time and are so different and good. I have tried about everything on the menu and have now started to stick with the eggs Benny which is their most popular item on the menu. The reason it is so good is because of their homemade hollandaise and their jalapeño jam that perfectly pairs with the eggs, hollandaise and brisket.

Small place...cute and quaint. Waited 30 mins for table. Got the eggs benny with the short ribs and house made jalapeno jam. Honestly, was an average Benedict. Very creamy hollandaise sauce (almost too creamy and thick for me...like butter). The short ribs didn't have much flavor. However, the house preserves were good. They deliver on the sous vide hashbrowns though! Also, they serve local coffee.
