We wanted to try something different for lunch, so I looked this up and had it bookmarked. We were seated immediately, and our server Zack greeted us quickly as well. He was very attentive, nice, and great to provide recommendations. I ordered their biscuits and gravy with a local beer on tap. The three biscuits were large, fluffy, and topped with sausage gravy. They also gave me an over-medium egg asking with a side of skillet fried potatoes. Everything was delicious! Just looking around at the other servers while eating provided a great vibe for the restaurant. Everyone was happily working and joking amongst themselves which isn’t very common amongst restaurants I feel.

We visited here for my birthday. Our server was excellent! Zach was amazing! Everything we are was phenomenal. Our time was well spent. Food was out quickly and all was wonderful. Plus... they had cheesecake for dessert for a birthday treat!

We had brunch here on a Sunday at 10am. The chicken and waffles had chives and bacon added, which added a unique flare... And it really works, it was terrific. The French toast had raisins which was unique and terrific as well. I would highly recommend this place. Casual vibe with a great patio.

I have dined here a few times and have been happy with our meals. The star of this restaurant should be the Ruben! This Ruben was absolutely delicious!! I have tried "the number one voted Ruben in Omaha", and I was unimpressed, this Ruben was way better! The corned beef had good flavor, the overall flavor of the sandwich was excellent!!

Had dinner here for a work outing and we all enjoyed our experience! Got several appetizers and I got the Ribeye. The apps were good sized and tasty. The Ribeye was also a good size and was on a mountain of mashed potatoes. The portions there were very generous! Many great drinks as well, and our server was great! Highly recommend for a night out.

Went to grab a bite to eat and some drinks. Never been there before and I absolutely will be back when I'm in the area. Had the Ahi tuna nachos absolutely fantastic. Had two cocktails called runners. They were almost too good! Jack was behind the bar and was fantastic! He was so nice as well as the other gentleman who made my drinks I feel bad I didn't get his name. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be coming back.

Wow! Had never heard of this being a brunch place so we were more than pleasantly surprised at how amazing it was! The chicken and waffles, some of the best we’ve ever had. The chicken was light and crispy, full of flavor! The waffle was perfectly cooked. The breakfast potatoes and eggs were yummy. Great variety of fruit in their side fruit cup! Got a side of biscuit and gravy without all of their typical extras and it was delicious! The gravy was creamy and rich. Only complaint is that we could only eat the top half of the biscuit because the bottom was too hard to eat. Our server, Henry, made our whole dining experience even better. He was genuinely friendly, efficient, and more than accommodating with our modifications. Instead of being annoyed by special requests, he was laid back and said “of course, no problem.” LOVE that, and very rare. Everyone seemed to be working hard and enjoying their jobs. A couple of workers stopped by to chat with our toddler which was so nice. We can’t wait to go back, especially to try some of their yummy breakfast drinks that everyone around us seemed to be enjoying!

This place was recommended by a coworker when I said I wanted a steak. Let me tell you, IT WAS AMAZING. That Filet was simply mouthwatering, cooked to perfection, could eat it with a spoon and very very flavorful. I spoke with the owner, great man. He could DEFINITELY charge more for his steaks, ! Bring your friends, family, spouse and enjoy a fabulous meal, you will not regret it. I will be back next time I'm in town!

Delicious food! Fair prices. Great place for brunch, including bottomless mimosas. I opted for the sun drop today, and that drink was dangerous because it was so good. The atmosphere was perfect. Love the outdoor seating.and the staff is great.

I liked it so much I came here for lunch 2 days in a row. The burger and Ruben sandwiches are both delicious. The burger is probably in my top 5 best burgers 🍔 ever. Don't miss out on the sweet potato fries.

Went for lunch here on a Tuesday and arrived early, around 11:30. There was only 1 table sat and the bar tender was the server. He had me sit where ever I wanted, so I sat at a table near the back. Most of their tables featured chairs with arms which I don't really like, so I found an arm-free chair and made myself comfortable. The bartender brought me water and asked what else I wanted to drink. Not in the mood for alcohol so I just got a Coke. I started out with their Charcuterie board. Forgetting I was there alone, this board was massive. Smoked Gouda, Parmesan and a pork rind cheese, sopressata and procuttio were the meats. Then they accompanied the mains with grapes, strawberries and pears, candied walnuts, pistachios, crostini, mustard, jalapeño jelly and apricot jam. I had to take half home to my husband. I got their French onion soup, which was my main reason for visiting. It was perfect. Deep beef stock flavor and plenty of caramelized onions hidden in the bottom of the bowl underneath so much cheese. My main entree was their French dip sandwich. The meat was tender and the Muenster cheese was melty and the onion confit added wonderful depth to the sandwich. Their Au Jus was on point with plenty of flavor bursting out to add a layer of soft juicy enjoyment in every bite. This was a great visit all the way to the end (which was a walk across the street to get ice cream from Ted & Wallys.)

Nuking It Out

Do not get the raisin French Toast if over the age of 5. 4 glorified french toast sticks is it, that’s what you’re getting for $10. It wad pretty sad sitting there with everyone else having beautiful full plates of delicious food, and I got a piece of french toast cut into 4 pieces with a few orange slices.

Great place! I ordered the steak...of course! With sweet potato fries. The steak was juicy not dry (I like mine medium well...I know real steak owners will say you should get it rare...no. I need some texture. Great place. Our server from Mississippi was Payton. He was great with his suggestions and did not steer us wrong!

The food at this place blows me away every time I go!! It’s FANTASTIC!!! And if you can believe it, the service is even better!!! I can’t say enough good things, this is one of my favorite places in the whole city. You just can’t beat the food, drinks, and wonderful folks who work there. If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out big time! The ahi tuna nachos are fire and their sangria is the best I’ve ever had in my life!

This is the best beef blend on a patty I've ever tasted. They only upcharge $1 for gluten free bun, the sweet potato fries were perfect. Big portions on everything, fresh tasty coffee, good vibes and service. This experience couldn't have been better, thank you guys 🙏

Sat up at the bar and enjoyed a beer and some appetizers to share. We ordered the wings and beef taquitos. Both were delish and a pretty presentation. The wings were jumbo size and the sauce was great. The queso fresco, fresno chili sauce, salsa verde, and crema paired nicely on the beef taquitos. We will be back the next time we visit Omaha!

Wow! Their salads are SO good! I had the coconut chicken salad and my mom got the Jo-Jo. We would both come back to eat them again. Service was fantastic and everyone was very nice. We sat on the lovely patio *don’t expect to find masks anywhere in Omaha if you are traveling through right now

Our favorite time to go is for brunch - $20 bottomless mimosas are always a win. The Reuben is recommended, as is the shrimp starter. The steak sandwich seems to come overcooked (received medium + when ordering medium rare twice). The fries are solid. Service has always been good for us.

Service was fantastic for the brunch on Sunday we went to. Very friendly. The two omelets we ordered was overcooked and not fluffy. I give that a 3.5 star. The ingredients were fresh Jackson Street tavern is located in the old market, found easily enough on Jackson Street. Sunday is free parking too!

My wife and I went to JST by chance last Saturday night. It was a very busy night, but our service was fast and frendly. I had the Nebraska burger. Onebof the bestbif not the best burger I've ever had. Juicy and flavourful. My wife had the shrimp scampi. Jumbo shrimp burries in garlic butter and cheese. Also an excellent choice. Will definitely be back.

The food was amazing, atmousphere was nice, and service was great. They sat my husband and I right away and moments after we were greeted by our friendly waiter AJ. The owner even came to our table asking how our experience was, and just from talking with him you could tell he took great pride in his business. We will be returning for sure.

We stumbled across this place walking through the market trying to decide what to eat on Saturday morning. We are from Des Moines and typically play it safe at Hooters or Omaha Tab. We were soo glad we choose JST. We arrived a little before 11am and we were able to sit on the patio. I loved their atmosphere as soon as we walked in. Our waiter greeted us and suggested the brunch sangria. The sangria had I believe orange and champagne. It was fantastic!! Then we decided on the spinach and artichoke dip. I have been dreaming about their spinach and artichoke dip ever since. One the best I have ever had!! I went with chicken sandwich and french onion soup, he got the burger. We were very impressed and cant wait to come back!!!

I didn't take a picture, but the Berkshire pork was amazing. I'm not at all a fan of grits, but these were the best that I had ever eaten. Highly recommended for something a bit different.

Our waiter was a great help when trying to decide between several dishes for both an appetizer and entrée. All of the food we ordered was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. This will definitely will be on the list to visit again when we return to Omaha!

Amazing! You have to get "The Neptune" appetizer - creamy, flavor-bursting. The French Onion Soup was the best in Omaha. The Brownie Desert was so delicious - the perfect chocolate crunch with creamy cool ice cream on a hot brownie. The sweet potato fries were the absolute best I've ever had ... hot, crunchy & perfectly seasoned. We also had a fantastic Reuben - I'm pretty sure they made their own thousand island dressing.

Went here for a work celebration. I got the $40 ribeye steak. The steak was NOT worth the $40. The edges were burnt and wasn’t the best. I’ve had better steaks from Outback and Texas Roadhouse for less. The staff was fine, the bartender didn’t know basic drinks that weren’t from their menu.

On a work trip to Omaha I came across this place by accident. Food was excellent, I had the fish and chips, good amount of food , coleslaw side was some of the best I have ever had. Washed down with a nice draught beer. Place has great atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend

After being in Omaha for 6 months we finally checked this place out. My husband and I went for a lazy misty Sunday evening over Columbus Day weekend. Wasn't that busy. Sat at the bar - comfy bar stools and felt inviting. Had Blue Mule and Neptune as an appetizer. Neptune was good but didn't have enough bread for dipping. When we asked bartender for more bread he brought them for us. Everyone was nice, attentive, food good, and relaxing ambience. I'll definitely go back for more.

My boyfriend and I loved this place! We aren't from Omaha so we asked some locals where we should eat, and they highly recommended this place. I can understand why!!! This was the best veggie burger I have ever had, and my boyfriend loved his wagyu beef burger. We were so sad that we got full before we ate all our food, it was that good! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Omaha

We ate here for the first time on Tuesday for dinner and we're glad we did. Our server Chris was excellent, he clearly knows the menu and was always there when we needed something. We tried a couple appetizers Neptune and Wings, both were very good. Your New Favorite steak sandwich and the Drunken Toni were also excellent, we'd order both again. I also think every one of the aforementioned items is a good value for what you pay. Thanks Jackson Street Tavern and Chris! We will be back.

The bourbon strip was ok but nothing special we asked for medium and medium well and both got medium well. The lemonade tasted like dirty sugar water. The straw I asked for came from the front of the door area and had a fuzz on it was not at all covered. The table was sticky.They were good with refilling our drinks tho.

First thing you have to know is that the entrance is a bit awkward. The hostess stand is a lot further into the restaurant than expected. The food has its own unique flair and the drinks are good. It's a bit tight inside, but the garage door being open helps make it feel more open and the fresh air is nice. The patio is a great spot to people watch.

Of l the things I miss about Omaha, this has got to be the place I miss the most. The thing I miss the most is the prime rib. The prime rib is tender and juicy. They give you a butter knife. It's that soft. It is smoky yet not overwhelming and the crust is perfectly salted and seasoned. The sides are equally amazing. This is by far the best prime rib I have ever had. Period. In fact, nothing comes close to it. Will definitely be back if ever in Omaha. Thinking about the prime rib makes me want to check Google Flights to plan a trip to Omaha just for a morsel of deliciousness.

Dinner on a Monday so restaurant was not busy at all. Food was fantastic ! Ahi tuna nacho, pasta, steak, childrens macaroni and cheese. Unfortunately, service was very poor! After the food was delivered, waiter stopped to ask about food and we never sawing him again until we asked for the bill! He was sitting at the bar, maybe a date? We could have used more water and drinks. Had out of town guests and it was embarrassing as we sat after dinner and talked for awhile, with all the dirty dishes never removed!!!

Update: my daughter and I try different brunch places over the past year with bottomless mimosas, including Railcar and Lulabees downtown and we definitely have JSTs pinned as our favorite, and are SO thankful Henri is still here to provide caring attentive service... what an outgoing, well rounded, driven, interesting guy! Owner stopped by again too and remembered us, and provided outstanding service, too --so unexpectedly kind! This time I went with the biscuits and gravy while my daughter stuck with her usual favorite breakfast sandwich! So GOOD! Thanks for a great Sat morning JST! See ya soon, Henri! :) Comfy, casual , is right! We wanted a welcoming, low-key place with yummy brunch and bottomless mimosas and we found that here at JST! The menu was innovative & interesting, the food was delicious (try the Breakfast Poutine!) And our waiter Henry was kind, beautiful, and attentive! We will be back for some dinner some evening & to try the infused vodkas and cucumber gin for Moscow mules! Thanks for a great Saturday morning experience JST!

Really nice restaurant with great service. The Ahi Tuna Nachos are enough for 4 people and it tastes fresh and delicious. The Jammin Salmon was a very generous serving of fish with great flavor and tasty salsa. We spent a very enjoyable evening at this place. When you first enter it looks a bit like a beer barn but don't be put off. They have a good range of craft beers and mix a mean cocktail. We both had the "steak frites" which was an excellent New York strip loin cooked just the way we asked. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. If I lived in Omaha I would be at the Jackson Street regularly.

He not only suggested a wonderful wine (based upon my wife's taste), but had a great suggestion for a park for our family reunion (we are not from Omaha). my family and i called and made a reservation and got seated right away when we arrived. our party ordered an appetizer along with five different entrees, all surpassed our expectations. the best part of our experience was our server, Chris. he took great care of us and radiated positivity while doing so. excellent service and superb flavors. 10/10 recommend.

Came in and instantly loved the atmosphere. It was a bit slow inside, but that was great since it wasn't crowded. The employees seemed to enjoy eachother and were very pleasant. Our waitress Lindsay was an absolute doll. The prices were high compared to where I come from, but the amount of food was amazing! It was nice and hot and fresh. I ordered mashed potatoes on the side of my entree. They were good, but the fries were unbelievably good. I really enjoyed this place.

Good food here. I had "My New Favorite Sandwich" with sweet potato fries. Both were very good. Best sweet potato fries I've had for sure! If you haven't been here you might expect typical bar food but the menu is much better than that!

Called for a reservation and they told us it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hour wait. We decided to go elsewhere but they ended up calling us back within half an hour to say they had a cancellation. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a very friendly and upbeat gentleman (I assume the manager/bar manager?) who we quickly developed a banter with. Our server was excellent, very attentive, thoughtful, and efficient. Food could have had more flavor (got a steak sandwich thing that was undercooked but wing appetizer was AMAZING). Would definitely go again. Good drinks and good company/service!

Make sure to make a reservation! We got on the walk in list and the hostess told us it’d be a 30 minute wait and took my phone number. We started a timer and went shopping next door. At 48 minutes, I decided to see where we were on the wait list. I waited with other families waiting to get on the wait list for another 15 minutes. When one of the other families asked they were told it’d be another 45 to 60 minute wait as we saw three tables sitting empty and more tables leaving. When it got to my turn to ask, I was told it’d be another 45 to 60 minutes. I took our name off the list and left. The food and drinks looked great, but very little staff and the staff that was there were crazy busy and tired. I’ll amend my rating if we ever actually get in and eat there please be kind to the staff and make those reservations!

I had a great time eating here! The food was delicious and the service was great. Someone else in our party accidentally got my dish (was handed and asked to try it) and had started eating it, so I thought I'd just have to eat theirs, but the waiter took the extra dish to the kitchen and got another serving of what I had ordered for me. I was able to continue having a great time, enjoying the food and drinks and it was a fantastic experience!

Our server was attentive and gracious; our orders were all correct and came out in a timely manner. The menu had plenty of options for our picky eaters. The food was fresh and tasty. We ate here on a Saturday night. We had planned to go elsewhere but they were the only place that had a 20 min wait versus a 2 hour wait. Thank goodness! Their food was amazing, portions were more then filling, they had a variety of drink options, and the waiter, I think his name was Aj, was very friendly and attentive considering how busy the restaurant was. The kids meals were also large portions. I had the California Club and sweet potato fries, my husband had the french dip, and then my children ordered the mac n cheese and cheeseburger. We can be a tough crowd at times, but there wasn't a single complaint. The sweet potato fries were probably my favorite. This place was a little pricier then what I am used to, but the food was well worth the money! I would definitely recommend and would eat there again.

Easy solid four. Almost waited too long for the waitress to show but once she did, everything was great. She was wonderful, actually. Clever sophisticated libations were quasi kind of impressive. That old fashioned with the big ole' orange juice ice cube was something special. Came here looking for a big fat steak but didn't see it on the brunch menu, so ended up with that, Your New Favorite, tenderloin sammich. Was okay. I'm not 100% convinced it was filet, was a little tough for that but I just wasn't feeling it; someone loves it, I'm sure. And the place, the space, was nice. I mean, so what I didn't like the sandwich, I'd still come back.

Went here for dinner the other week (which was amazing) and learned they have brunch on the weekends so I thought I’d try it out. Man was I impressed! My friends and I all ordered different things and each of loved what we ordered. I got the Z’s Hash and I’ve never had a better corned beef hash dish. And they have bottomless mimosas! We are going to make this our regular brunch spot!

This was perhaps the most pleasant surprise we discovered in Omaha. The menu was unique and totally scratch. Started with the Charcuterie which offered a wonderful variety. The nacho platter is a meal in and of itself. The Soup that day was a Green Tomato Gazpacho that now ranks among the best gazpachos I've ever had. Wish I had the recipe. All of our sandwhiches were huge, more than enough for a meal. I always ask to have my fries burned, and this is one of the very few places that got them right the first time without having to send them back. The Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding was scrumptious, although the portion was too small to share.

Decent food. I had the SEAFOOD FRA DIAVOLO. The scallops were tiny and disappointing. The marinara was spicy. Surprisingly spicy actually. Tasted fine, but might be more than the average Midwest palate can handle. The bread was nice, but the charred lemon was a bit of a strange touch.

Love this place! We came into town for a concert and stayed at The Hyatt Place right across the street, so this was very convenient. We went for wings and ended up with their wings and one of the specials, Pan Seared Chicken. Both were excellent. They make their own wing sauce and it has great flavor with not too much spice but enough to know it's there. I would call them a medium heat wing. The pan seared chicken with vegetables was also excellent and came with a leg and thigh quarter and some sliced breast meat. I could taste just a hint of ginger in the pan seared chicken, and the vegetables were fresh sauteed. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. We will certainly be back here anytime we're in Omaha.

I used to go here a lot but I believe the ownership changed and when I was there a year ago the menu was no good. I recently returned and was pleasantly surprised that the menu offerings have been increased and there are some great options. I particularly like that they have a lot of salad options and they have sweet potato fries. The service is good, I gave it four stars because I find the prices to be pretty high compared to the neighboring establishments.

Absolutely delicious spot with tons of specialty and craft beers to choose from. While they are primarily a burger place (I'm pretty sure) I ordered a salad with salmon and the salmon was on point. Service was quick and polite especially despite the fact that when we went at lunch (on a Thursday) there was only one waitress on the floor who stayed incredibly patient with our many indecisions and still made sure to check on us often to make sure everything was going well. I myself am not a beer person so I ordered a Moscow mule and it was pretty dang delicious.

We come here pretty often for work dinners, their food is always really delicious. The Ahi Tuna Nachos are one of the best appetizers, highly recommend it. We typically have to get a few orders because everyone loves them. For entrees, I have gotten their steaks, scallops and various salads, and all were really tasty. The steaks are pretty hefty sized steaks but scallops and salads were great portions. Highly recommend if you are in the Old Market!

Great quick lunch food felt like it came out really quick and was very well prepared. The hobb Salad was superb and everything tasted fresh and succulent. The sandwich I ordered called "your new favorite" done a perfect rare temp which I though went well with the other ingredients including the avacado . The cocktail I ordered was delectable "blue mule" with some plump blueberries. It is a little upscale as far as prices go but with the quality of the food and speed far outweights this.

This is NOT bar food. Pricey, but my dinner would rival most any restaurant in Omaha. Got the seared scallops. Just wish there were a few more of the roasted tomatoes. I am Surprised and blown away from the wonderful food we had here. JST Has a great pub feeling to it. Tvs behind the bar... Large ceilings Dark stained wood throughout. Fun colorful artwork brightens it up a bit. The food was absolutely amazing! I was expecting some decent pub food from the menu. What we got was some Fabulous well executed savory plates of heaven. I wanted to try the Ragu but went for the special. The presentation was wonderful. The Tortellini were some perfectly crafted little pasta's. My wife's entree was also to die for. The Gnocchi was some of the best we have had, it compared if not rivaled Gnocchi we have had throughout Italy! I will continue to return and for sure will be a regular at this spot!
