Reviews of Tamashii Ramen House
John Warren
Small dining room and wait times goes up FAST. Can’t check in online or via phone, so must show up and be prepared to wait. Once seated had a wonderful experience. Waiter was very helpful for several of us first timers. Ramen had wonderful flavor, but honestly the Garlic Fried Rice was the star of the show - sharing it as an appetizer with the table worked perfectly for us. Will be visiting again!

Sometimes you just have to take yourself on a date and eat the things you love most. Tamashii Ramen is by far my favorite Ramen in the City. Always delicious and you can’t go wrong with the Garlic fried rice! Wash it down with some sake while enjoying the new fall weather and you have got yourself a pampered person! Enjoy!

We tried 4 different items and I all were good. The garlic fried rice topped with chashudon was amazing! Best fried rice I've ever had. The curry Ramen was good as well. The curry chicken was probably my least favorite. Not that it wasn't good but it didn't wow me

We went kinda late, round 9:30. Had quite a wait for a seat as no one really wants to leave the place! But it ended up worth it. We sat outside under the heaters on their covered porch. The hot green tea was fantastic 👌. The food was exceptional, top notch. And the alcoholic drinks my boyfriend had were very tasty although pricey. My favorite parts of dinner were the pork belly and the eggs in my Ramen. If we come visit and go here again I will ask for extra. Good grub!

Nice area in mid-town. Parking lot needs a little help. All the people waiting outside for the alert on their phone to go off is a giveaway to how good the food is. Really nice environment with anime projected on the walls while you eat. Everything I tasted was amazing. One of my new favorite places.

Loved, loved, loved this place!
From the moment you enter with the authentic Kon'nichiwa salutations to the moment you leave and all the delicious bites of food in between. It's clear the menu has been well-thought, the dishes reasonably priced, and the staff trained to maintain a level of excellence. This place took me back to eating ramen in Japan! Definitely recommend for authentic, delicious food!

I've eaten inside before but this time I did take away. It was so tasty and everything was packaged so nicely. Just as tasty as sitting down at the restaurant. It's lovely I can order something here safely with my shellfish and seafood allergy and not have to worry. Thank you!

Gyzoa was fabulous. Garlic Fried was phenomenal, best ever. Tonkonstu Ramen was amazing regardless of which seasoning (classic or soy sauce). The spicy Ramen was devoured by my husband. We also tried the Mochi, coffee and mango. Fresh and tasty. Absolutely zero complaints. We will be back!

Arrived a little before 3pm and was seated right away. Hostess was very nice and polite. Server was also very nice and informative. Food did not take long at all to come out and it was as good as everyone made it out to be and I'm glad we were able to go. We had the buttered corn miss (regular and spicy) w/extra braised pork. We added egg and mushroom but did not receive the mushroom but it was delicious regardless. We also ordered the potstickers and the garlic fried rice. It was well worth $60! Even so, we ordered fried rice to go. It's small inside but cozy and quaint. I will definitely go back! We wanted to try the ice cream, but we were full and satisfied already so maybe next time. Yummy yummy in our tummy!!😋

had a wonderful experience at this place. They had a great selection of vegan options and the ambiance was just right - not too bright, which helped me feel calm and at ease. Our waitress was exceptional! She had a great sense of humor and a laid-back demeanor, frequently using the phrase "easy peasy" and impressing us with her service. I adore this location, and their hoodies are cute too! 🍜

Great dining experience. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I had the garlic ramen with spicy bomb and my wife had curry ramen. We also had potstickers. Everything came out fast and hot. Tasted great (the eggs are a real star in these bowl). The spicy bomb added a nice kick without being too much. Service was great and the restaurant was clean. I do wish there was some seafood options, but really my only critique. Can't wait to go back.

I honestly want to give this 5 stars but I can't based on many reasons. The first reason would be that we had to figure out how to even get a table. There is a sign In the front that tells you to scan this qr code. If you miss the sign and walk in employees here make you feel as if you should have seen the sign. Next would be how our server made us feel rushed. The place was not really busy but she acted as if she was and made us feel rushed. Third would be the broth if the ramen. I've eaten at alot of ramen places and yes this ramen was good but not to my liking when I think of ramen.fourth would be that they were out of gyudon. We love this dish but for some reason they were out. We eventually ordered the garlic ramen. The ramen had flavor it wasn't lacking there, were it was lacking was the broth and creaminess you would think of with ramen. It seemed more water with garlic then a garlic type broth if that makes any sense. My wife ordered the spicy ramen. Same thing with the broth it was flavorful but lacked the thick creamy taste you would expect. It was more water and sesame flavor. We also ordered the garlic fried rice. That was good but as my wife stated it was more egg then rice, we wish it had a little more rice. There really isn't a kids option but they do have things they can offer for kids. I do wish they in the future take to consider adding kid friendly items. They got fried chicken and rice. The chicken was good compared to the ramen shops I have been to. This place ensured it was more Chicken then breading and it was cooked perfectly and not dry. Some other cool aspects are the decor. They had projectors playing Anime which was really cool. Please have the audio for the show instead of music. The manager Lewis did a great job checking on us. He then asked about our experience and what we thought of the place. I honestly can say the ramen had flavor and was good, just the broth wasn't to my standard of how I like my ramen. I would say for sure with the experience we had and the experience with the food it would definitely get a 4 out of 5.

My family and I visited Tamashii Ramen for the first time today. We waited about 45 minutes for our table, but it was well worth the wait! We started off with gyoza and garlic fried rice. Both of these appetizers were totally delicious! We had 4 different ramen dishes, including Tonkotsu Ramen, Curry Ramen, Spicy Ramen, and Miso Butter Corn Ramen. The Spicy Ramen was the family favorite followed by Tonkotsu. I wasn’t a fan of the Curry Ramen. Our waiter George was amazing! He was very attentive, gave us tips on taking photos and let us know about the secret menu items that we’ll definitely try on our next visit. The manager came to our table and offered me something else since I wasn’t a fan of the Curry Ramen. I thought this was very kind and it was definitely unexpected! If you’re looking for a great meal with great service, visit Tamashii!!!
Air BP
Very neat atmosphere! Anime playing on the walls to each while enjoying delicious ramen. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

I seriously loved our visit to this wonderful place. The food was amazing and the manager and waitstaff was on point. Being very friendly and helpful. Make sure you save a little room for the black sesame and red bean mochi. Veteran/Military discount offered and FGC friendly.
Juliana Allen
My husband and I tried the Spicy Miso Ramen and the Miso Buttercorn Ramen and both were amazing. You can't make reservations beforehand as they have the reservations on a QR code system and the parking lot is a tight squeeze but we showed up before the dinner rush and were able to find parking quickly. Even if that annoys you I promise the food is worth it!
Kasey Raia Stout
This was an overall positive experience. The broth of the ramen is very flavorful, and the service was excellent. One thing just to note, you check in/add yourself to the waiting list using a QR code. Then once you get a text, you go into the entry and check in with the host. For the food, like I said, it was good, but the noodles were a tad undercooked for what we'd expect from ramen, it wasn't too bad though, just noticeable. Additionally my ramen had ground pork, which I have never had before in ramen. This was sort of weird to me to have ground meat in ramen...I wouldn't choose that again. However, that is just a preference thing. In summary, this is a neat little ramen spot, and definitely satisfied our craving for ramen.
Brittany Clay
If you have time to wait is worth it!!
The ramen is certainly going to give you the promised flavor of the title.
The star of the show though is the garlic fried rice... ANY STYLE!!
The Karaage chicken is fantastic with or without dipping sauce.
The seasoned Edamame is great!!
Cameron Mills (Cam)
I’ve been coming to this ramen shop since before they had a second location and even before they finished the porch on the original location. Every time I come I can always expect great food, a great atmosphere, and great people. I am extremely grateful covid did not shut them down and I highly encourage everyone to at least try it once while in the city. My go to for upwards of 6 years has been the garlic tonkotsu with a Sapporo Black, but you can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. All in all I highly recommend stopping in regardless of the wait time.
Jan Bush
Authentic Japanese atmosphere. I felt like I was back in Japan with the smells, and the staff yelling between each other in salutations. It was great. loved the food — love the atmosphere. definitely a great place to go. I highly recommend it.
Lauren R
The wait is definitely worth it, even though it can take about an hour and a half to be seated after check-in. The food is exceptionally flavorful, making it one of my favorite ramen places in town so far.
Stephen Powell
Came here with some co-workers for dinner. Parking was somewhat limited but sufficient. The wait was short, and they use an online queue system which is pretty slick. Their menu is online as well and easy to understand. I was excited to see gyudon, takoyaki, and karaage in addition to the ramen. Everything we had was extremely delicious and very reminiscent of traditional Japanese food I had in Japan. The service was excellent and so friendly. The round booth we sat in was a little tight for 6 people but didn't take away from our enjoyable experience. They have anime playing on 3 projectors around the restaurant which is a nice touch. There is an outdoor seating area, but it is closed currently. Overall we had a great time, the food was wonderful, and I'd love to come back in the future.
Anne J
The food was delicious. We got a variety of ramen food. Service was excellent. We waited for a bit. The price was reasonable. Will go again.
Amy Ha
My favorite Ramen place that isn't located in Japan. Tried multiple places from multiple states, still nothing has been as memorable as Tamashii. Broth is amazingly rich, noodles have great texture. Always a go-to for Downtown restaurants.
Though, I will say, parking can be a nightmare, especially on weekend nights. Be sure to join the waitlist 30-60 minutes ahead of your visit.
Octo K3
We came across this place as we were starving. They have both free parking and parking meters. There is a QR code to scan to ensure you get a spot. Seeing how this place fills up quick, it is highly recommended to scan the code. After being seated, the atmosphere is dim, but lively at the same time. Our waitress was amazing and very informative on the menu. We had the gyoza and some ramen. Both were very tasty. Portion size for the price was reasonable. It was overall a wonderfully positive experience and highly recommended to try. They also play anime as a bonus!
Ranjit Shrestha
Food was mediocre and not the best. Ordered a chicken ramen and the miso ramen but neither were that good. Even though I requested the softest noodles for both, they still were pretty hard. Not something worth coming back to in my opinion.
Arweemas K.
The ramen was amazing! Staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return more in the future!
Crafting Artist
Absolutely fantastic!! I love the clearly marked allergens on the menu! Everything was delicious. Expect a wait, maybe reserve a seat
Priscilla
The best in town. Seriously!!! Any ramen you get is so flavorful. I’m a fan of spicy and order extra spice on the side. The gyoza are great too!
Anime Meme TV
Food is always oishi! Our 2nd time coming back and more to follow. They have new servers and always nice to customers. They also say japanese welcome when you come in. Anyways, I've got garlic ramen. I always try different order.
S S
The wife and I love Ramen and we were very happy to find this location nearby. The pot stickers were delicious. The Ramen bowls were incredibly good! I ended up getting pork in mine and I would 100% recommend it, I was very impressed on how great the food was and would definitely have it again if I am in the area. 5/5!
Oscar Melendez
The food alone deserves 5 stars! The rice in that skillet was AMAZING!
The ramen was also very good, despite it being almost 100° outside. We came in super late, they were closing within the hour. And still treated us very well, serving us properly and even taking the time to explain the menu and “secret menu” hacks!
Will definitely be back for T-Rex style rice and another bowl of ramen!
Stephan Frye (Caius Mornhold)
Whether you are a Blade Runner fan, Chief's Table, or simply love rich faty meaty and cheap, this is your place. The dive bar, Anime vibe is authentic and one of a kind. The mixed cocktail and beer list are worth the usual wait. The menu is simple but easily customizable based on diet restrictions. Take advantage of this truly gourmet experience in the local OKC area without having to pay gourmet prices.
Bi Bruce
Very popular, it’s already crowded at the moment they start open for the day. They open at 11:00, I got there at 11:20 and had to wait 15 mins for seats. It’s that popular! The inside isn’t spacious but definitely got that modern mixed Japanese theme. I got the garlic ramen. Broth was very flavorful and rich. Chashu was delicious. Worth a visit.
F. Chevalia “The Food & Travel Guy”
So far, Tamashi Ramen House is my top two best Ramen joints. Love the Garlic Fried Rice with Umami.
Matthew Doxey
Another fantastic experience here at Tamashii Ramen House! The food is sooooooo good! Had the chashu style garlic fried rice, and the Ninniku Garlic ramen with a spice bomb *chef's kiss*. I also love being to come in, and enjoy watching anime while slurping delicious noodles!
Also, if you haven't tried their Tsukemen dipping noodles, that's a must!
Jeff Mackensen
I'm from out of state, and I always make a point to come here at least once whenever I'm in town.
I recommend coming for lunch upon opening. Otherwise, be prepared to wait, as they do not take reservations. Despite the wait time, it is a great experience dining at Tamashii.
The aesthetic and vibe of the restaurant takes you straight to Japan. Dim lighting, Japanese street signs and lanterns, and anime playing on projectors on the wall make it all feel authentic.
The ramen is hearty, very flavorful, and customizable with lots of add-ons. The Garlic Fried Rice is unique and delicious.
Service was great, and everything is affordable, too!! I'll be back next time I'm in OKC.
Jeremy Flores
This has been the best ramen shop I have visited yet! I got the spicy miso ramen. Added the egg and fish cakes. It had so much flavor 10 out of 10 would recommend and go back for more. Also had the takoyaki which was a major delight. With a pineapple sake-tini.
Patrick Long
Cool chic place near downtown. Great Ramen. I always get the spicy meso. We always like to add extra pork belly. The people here are really nice. Especially the managers. They always seem so be so eager to help out any employee that needs help when they are falling behind. I wish they had a bigger inside dinning area but you can only fit so many people in a small area.
Blake Johnson
Delicious food and friendly staff. I’ve gotten ramen from a lot of different places and didn’t expect to find some of the best ramen I’ve ever had in Oklahoma of all places. I ordered the tsukemen with warm sake. They also sell sick t-shirts so I picked one of those up as well. Have gotten a lot of compliments on my shirt!
Dian Sheeler (Dian)
We had dinner at the patio, waiting time was less than 15 minutes. Great food, great atmosphere. The place is clean, the staffs are friendly.
Vanessa Prince
We had takeout, in house may be different :) overall ramen was very good! The 4 garlic broth was amazing and super savory! The soft boiled eggs were cooked to perfection. Gyoza were a little burnt and the takoyaki was overly chewy, but the flavor for both of these was there.
K Chung
Updated! End up I came here 4 times in 8 days! Thank you!
The place have the best takoyaki in USA! The octopus can fresh n well cook! Thank you!
I was having tonkotsu classic with extra egg, looking good!
Egg, well prepared, full of flavour!
Broth, rich and taste great! Perfectly done!
Pork, good job! Good thickness and full of flavour!
Noodle! It’s great! And do not like any other ramen place!
This is truly one of my fav ramen places in North America! Sure will come back !
mch stonem
We had tried this place before and it never lets you down, had tonkotsu ramen, meat was so soft you could just tear it apart with chopsticks, soy based broth was full of flavor and noodles were perfect and so tasty. Service was great and didn’t had to wait for too long to get our food. Will definitely come back!
Braser
Love the broth and the use of the whole egg. Everything I had was great. The Takoyaki with its crisp exterior and slimy, chewy insides. The tender pork. The amazing broth. The Sapporo. The music. The anime vids. I'd dine here every time I visit.
The service was quick, and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. There was a bit of a wait to get seated, but you get a text when they're ready. There's plenty of room outside to hangout.
caitlin moore
service was pretty good although kinda slow. first time having ramen and everything kinda tasted like a slight char flavor, maybe intentional or just overdone but not for me. got the tonkatsu with the soy sauce base and tasted still a little bland. potstickers were slightly overdone as well, but those were better. friendly atmosphere
El Uri
Server was very helpful, I had the Garlic Tonkotsu. The broth was hot, rich and delicious, noodles were nice and firm. Can’t wait to return.
Emily
They have the best food in OKC. There's a reason they have a long wait which is 100% worth it. I love the way you can get in cue online and it shows how many people are in front of you. Depending on how many people you are eating with and where you want to sit depends if they will skip you due to availability. During the wait we just drove around and looked within the area. They call you and let you know that you have ten minutes to get there before you lose your spot. Once you get there they immediately sit you down and take your order. They didn't have gyozas at the time but said they were on the way from their other restaurant. They got there while our stay and the server came and asked if we still wanted them. The food was delicious and filling. The service was impeccable and when the server talked with someone who we assumed was the owner or manager she came by and thank us for coming and gave us a card for free edamame for our next visit. She then proceeded to come by and check on us. If I'm honest I've never had such good service and felt like we were special guests. But that is how they treat all their customers. We will visit again when in OKC and it is a place I recommend to everyone who visits OKC.
Shaun L
I can't place some of the flavors in the different items we ordered but it was different and absolutely delicious! Me and my two girls (16 and 11) loved it! Lots of food for a good price. I've been several times and will continue to go back.
Alex Tjelmeland
Such an amazing meal and experience. The wait times can be pretty long but it is so worth it. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. Everyone loved their ramen and the fried rice appetizer was the perfect size for the 5 of us. Can't wait to come back!!
Adrian Fraire
Vicente was an amazing server, he offered great customer service and amazing attention to detail. When I was choking on a noodle, Vicente came to the rescue, he came from behind me, wrapped his big beefy arms around my petite body, and did the Heimlich maneuver to save my life. The noodle itself was delicious and Vicente was a great compliment to the whole experience. I enjoyed my time here.
Stacy Parada
My husband and I waited an hour and a half for this ramen, so we wanted to be sure this was the best ramen ever and boy, we were not disappointed at all. This was fantastic ramen!
The broth is excellent. It was super enjoyable; it wasn’t super thick or light, it is hard to describe it, but it is fantastic. The way the meat was cooked also added to the ramen.
The wait is totally worth it. This ramen is absolutely incredible and very tasty! We will totally come back here next time we are in OKC.
dormirlona
We waited 2 hours for a table but it was completely worth it lol
Michael Allen
Always make it a point to come here when we visit OKC! Best ramen I've ever had and I've eaten at various ramen houses in 4 states (Oklahoma, California, Georgia, and North Carolina).
Jessica Hernández
First timer and I absolutely loved it!!!! I loved the fact that they play anime on the wall the place was so cute! And the stuff was super duper friendly, you get a code to wait for your table to be ready and after that you scan another code to get the menu, employee was helpful as well since i told him it was my first time. I don’t know I truly felt like I was in a Japanese lounge 😍🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thomas Crawford
Fantastic ramen with a good selection of other Japanese foods. Everything I've ever ordered has been excellent. Service is fast, friendly. Can be a little loud, but that's generally the case for American restaurants offering this cuisine.
Liz Mason
You must try this place. The food is great. I ordered the Takoyaki and the Spicy Ramen. The staff is amazing 👏.
Samuel Clemens IV
This place is the jam. The food is as good or better than anything in the city.(I mean that as the highest compliment) Oscar really took good care of us. We find that to be rare moreso than ever. So 🙌🏽! The interior is hip and comfortable with just the right lighting and appointments. The bar offerings are on point! Don't go changing Tamashii!
Gerry Maynard
This is the best place. I tried the garlic pork ramen noodles. Sorry, I didn't get pictures so hungry, and it looked too good not to dive right in and eat. Get there early it's first come, first served. You will not be disappointed.
Martin
This place is absolutely amazing, I've been here who knows how many times, I came by 12/6/22, whilst on a date. Server was nice and respectful, honestly wish I remembered his name, he deserves recognition.
The food is always good! I recommend the Curry Ramen with and Extra Spice Bomb, Garlic Fried Rice, and their Gyoza.
Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream as well!
Gary Ma
Anime playing on the walls? Check! How cool is this place? Oh yeah, it also has terrific food, a superb staff and an innovative reservation system where you scan a QR code and it texts you when your table is up. You can also check your place in the queue. A QR code is also available for your menu. The place looks like an industrial shanty from the outside but inside the decor is sleek and hip.
Arturo Chavez
Love this place hurts to give them 3 star but they're really 5 place. 3 star bc once they are busy it always like 2 hr wait for party of 4 or higher. Work 5 of 6 days and they are popular. Owner open 2nd location please. Oh and bring back ice cream butter toast dish back...... Update to 4. Owner took time to reply back and thought that was awesome. Wait times suck but really shows how good this place is.
Maxi
Truthfully, this place is well worth the money. I recommend all of the ramen. However, sometimes it feels as though service is slow. You often have to wait anywhere from 20-60 minutes depending on the day and when you get in, it feels like you have to wait just as long to get your food. Don’t get me wrong, it’s well worth it for most people, but as someone who can finish a bowl of ramen in less than 4 minutes, the wait doesn’t seem very warranted.
Michael Trojahn
WowZers!! This is some tasty food right here folks!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Expect a wait! Put your name in and then go explore the neighborhood! Lots of good places to grab a drink while you are waiting.
John Kennedy
Absolutely amazing food. The authenticity, the feel, the taste are all sublime. I love this restaurant, and every friend and family member I've brought here has also told me how great the food is. The Edmond location is even better and more consistent, but this place is no slouch.
Vilechill
Been coming here for years and it's been on point every visit.
Appetizers are all amazing and no matter which bowl of Ramen you choose its going to have amazing depth of flavor. Top Ramen spot in the city for my money
Temiloluwa Scott (Dajprincess)
The staff that served us was really really helpful because I was so indecisive lol, but the food was so good , and I got sweet tea drunk
Aldo Martinez
5 stars in all fronts. Recommend getting there a little earlier to catch the waiting line. It is normally a 20-30 min wait
Claudia Kenyon
Words cannot describe.
My fiancé and I are “out-of-towners” who are always on the hunt for good food and boy did OKC deliver. If you have a long wait (1hr and a half on a Friday) like us go around the block to the Collective Kitchens and Cocktails, get drinks and a snack to wet your appetite and sit through the waitlist, which updates with your placement in line if you’re keeping an eye on the website. Its worth it.
I promise you’ve never had fried rice this good, the gyoza is so nicely done, sake is smooth and the spicy miso ramen is perfection.
Our server was professional and courteous, he checked in regularly and the other staff we interacted with were equally as helpful.
I cannot recommend this location enough. It’s a must visit for any future trips to OKC.
If you’re thinking of stopping in please do.
raaadical
Best ramen that I've had in the OKC metro area! Always great service, food always tastes fresh, the only downside is how few people can sit inside, so sometimes you have to wait a bit. It's great they opened a second location in Edmond!
Paula Hanafee
Great place for traditional ramen and other fare. The restaurant is small so some times the wait times can be long. They added an enclosed eating area but still overall a small restaurant. Both inside and outside can get noisy due to size v. people. However, the food is worth it!! They also offer a vegetarian ramen so something for everyone. This is the only place I will go to eat ramen in OKC.
Amanda Brandon
This is by far the best Ramen in town. I’d give five stars for the food and service. The only down side is the long wait, plan accordingly if you go for dinner. Of course it’s a small building and not all the the tables are in use and the bar seating is closed. So they could accommodate more guests but most likely at the expense and annoyance of everyone. It’s just a very small restaurant. So I’m actually ok with a long wait for amazing ramen and a quiet atmosphere where you can have a conversation and enjoy a meal.
I’ll be back!!!!
Sofiana K
Definitely didn’t expect to like our food so much but we did!! I’ve never had flavored edamame before and I wanted to have that sauce in a bottle. Our server gave us good recommendations and was super helpful. We were so thankful because we didn’t have a good ramen experience in CA. It was a great stop on our road trip!
Val Recio
Delicious Ramen. Love coming here. Everything on the menu is amazing. Service is on point. Drink never ran out, and servers were very attentive.
Amy Newman
First come first served but it moves quickly. We were there on a busy Saturday evening, no kids. The two of us opted to sit at the bar, no wait. Service is always excellent. I deliver on the side and the staff is always kind to drivers. Third time here, always so good. The garlic fried rice is a must, let them add the sauce. There are some allergens there so ask if needed. We love the garlic ramen as well. This time we ordered these two dishes and shared, it was plenty for us. I added the spice bomb and my hubby added the extra hot spice bomb. We both left totally satisfied. The manager and staff were amazing as was the food. Ive ordered ramen in the past and shared it and the fried rice with my 5 year old who loved it. I just order a spice bomb for my share only $1 upcharge.
Anna Marie
Trying something different. I have heard this place was really good so I thought I would try it out myself. The assistant manager Dllion is super nice and so is tonights bartender Kalee they were both very helpful being this is our first time here. They explained the menu and gave us some suggestions based on what we liked. The atmosphere is nice and spaced out.

This place is kinda small. The staff is usually nice. They have good food. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Has about 10 booths and 5 tables in the inside. There’s a bar but I’ve never seen anyone sit there.

We ordered Spicy and Tonkotsu Ramens, along with Octopus dumplings. The ramens were easily the best we’ve had, including some very good ramen places we used to go quite often in Bay area. It took 50 mins to get a table, but it very much worthed it. The service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Eclectic and fun, this place is authentic in its food choices . We have customized vegan Raman . Our waitress took the accurate order and Brent helped us pick a good dessert.
Recommend this place for authentic Asian cuisine.

There is usually over an hour wait, so try to account for that***
I have been eating at Tamashii since my brother introduced me to it late 2015. My commitment to this restaurant is the 3rd most committed I've been in my life (Family, Tattoos, Tamashii), so I might be a bit biased.
Gyoza never lets me down.
Their takoyaki is consistently great.
Garlic fried rice is to die for - must order!
Sweet tea is always good! I wish they'd bring back the cold sweet green tea because that was always amazing (I could kill my kidneys drinking it like water in the desert).
The tonkotsu ramen is my absolute favorite! The broth flavor has changed over the years, but it has only gotten better if you ask me. My toppings are also always perfectly prepared! Out of all the places I've tried ramen so far (throughout Texas, Boston, LA), this stays at the top of my list. I intentionally plan to make the 7 hour trip (one way) just to go here.
Out of the 50 times I've been here, I've only had subpar service once (and it seemed to be a new employee). My brother and I practically ALWAYS have great service. The people here take care of us. At this point, I think I've truly developed a parasocial relationship with a restaurant😂 I'm writing this review at 1:30 am because I missed it and can't wait to go back later this month.
If you've read this novel, congratulations! Go try it for yourself!
PS - the only reason it costs so much per person on my review is because my brother and I basically double up on everything we order.
PPS - Tamashii, please teach me your ramen/ rice making ways so I don't go through withdrawals every other month lol

I've gone here tons of times, and every single time the service is beautiful. prices are fair for the portions. if you've got a med/low appetite like I do, order ramen and some karaage or chashudon, and you'll have two meals! I prefer Tamashii over any other ramen place I've been to. thank you guys for your amazing service!!
Fred Ross
Was so good we had to go back there the very next day! Everything we got there was amazing and our waitress on the second day (I think her name was Mandi but I'm terrible with names) was super friendly and helpful. Probably the best service I've ever gotten anywhere! The first night's waiter kept coming by to ask if we needed a to go box which made my friend feel rushed but besides that he was alright a well. Both nights we arrived right before the rush so it's understandable but asking 4-5 times on a visit and very little time in-between did make my friend jumpy the second night but luckily we didn't have that problem with our waitress. Anyways, if you're in the mood for an awesome ramen shop you can't find a better place in OKC!

Came on a sunny Thursday late in the afternoon, and was happy to find parking in the adjacent lot, as well as pleasant outdoor seating.
I wasn't too impressed by the Japanese curry a friend had tried before, but my husband's garlic tonkatsu ramen was excellent!
The curry flavor was mild but tasted almost like the Indian kind (spices-wise). Additionally, the karaage chicken wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped (rather soft and chewy from the first bite), and the rice was a bit on the softer/mushed side rather than properly firm and fluffy. That said, the quantity was great!
Excellent service, and I'm looking forward to trying more ramen and also their gyudon in the future!
Ryan Dillman
This is my new favorite place...for garlic fried rice..best rice ever. I haven't actually had the ramen, yet. Monster and t-rex are impressive, but I've never been hungry or bold enough to try it, yet.
Justin Jefferson
I always love coming to eat here because it always ends up being an experience.
The wait in line isn't too terrible. Tamashii offers a QR code to set up a place in line and will text you when your table is ready. It lets you have some freedom to explore a little of downtown okc. Any waiting to eat is torturous, but the food alone is always worth the wait.
When I come with friends, we always enjoy the relaxed air that's seasoned with the smell of good food that whets the appetite. If I come alone, the staff usually stay and talk about life or the animes that are playing on the wall. I've even gotten some recommendations that I've come to enjoy. Of course, if I prefer solitude, they do their best to provide superb service with minimal interaction.
I've never felt lonely when eating here. The warmth of food and friends is always present.
As an anime lover, I admit I have some bias towards a restaurant like this but I'm confident I'll be back again.

Husband and I came here for his first time trying ramen. Potstickers were delicious! Ordered garlic ramen which includes pork belly and fishcakes on the side to make sure he liked. He did. Flavors were great sprinkled chilli powder on and it had just a tiny amount of spice. Great service even though they were very busy. Very attentive and checked on our table frequently but not too much. We will be back to try spicy ramen and garlic rice!
J Linn
This place is worth the wait time. I enjoyed a lovely bowl of the garlic ramen, gyoza, and green tea. The staff are awesome. Waitlist system is easy to use. And you get to watch anime while you eat.
Jeremy Rudder
Had to wait a bit for a table, but it's because the food is so good that everyone keeps the tables full. It was absolutely worth the wait, my party enjoyed every last drop of our bowls! Definitely our fave ramen house in the OKC area.
Anthony Meleco
My buddy slurping this delicious food up. It's so good omg
Evelyn Valle
I tried to get in 3xs and never could because they were soooo busy and by the time I was called it was too late lol but I went today with my cousin around 2pm and omg. Will be coming back. The food is good and the atmosphere was great!! Our server was super kind and on point. Thank you!
Shelby Wilkinson
Initially I thought ramen was weird and nothing special, but this place gave me a whole new look on ramen. Tamashii has become one of my top 5 restaurants. We try to visit every time we are in OKC. You have to get the garlic fried rice chasudon style. How it could be so crispy yet tender blows my mind. The pork belly has a great char to it. And the sauce and other flavors just top it off nicely. I am not huge on spice so I usually get the miso butter corn. Again the corn is very tender and buttery. The pork belly has a nice crisp. You can sub anything out. I usually get a soft-boiled egg added and my husband gets the spice bomb. I love the authentic atmosphere of the downtown location; however, both locations serve the same great food.
timmah62
Too busy. We had a party of 7 they seated at a table for 4.
The food was good, reasonable prices.
M Harris
Love this place! Gluten free and vegan menu available. I love their garlic fried rice pork chashu style. Staff is always very welcoming and helpful.
Cody Sauter
Honestly a great and wholesome place to eat, Tamashii is just the place if your eating out by yourself or with friends and family. The place is just great for ramen or fried rice or its wonderful appetizers such as the takoyaki, which if you never had then I recommend. They also have keto friendly alternatives, so if your on a diet, they got you covered, and their portions are big enough for any appetite. There is...a small problem. The place is so small! I know that is not necessarily their fault but still, its just a shame that if the place is packed, your relegated to outside seating. And if not then you may have to wait to be seated to even order! Yes there is take out and delivery threw various apps, but man eating in the place while enjoying some saki or oolong tea and finishing with some mochi ice cream has an appeal to it. But altogether its not a deal breaker. I do recommend and I do look forward to returning.
So what are you waiting for? Go out and eat!
Jackie Caraway
The food is really good, the best ramen spot in OKC for sure but the waitlist system is ridiculous. You can’t join the waitlist online or through the phone. You gotta go in person and wait, it sucks specially during dinner time when it fills up fast and you end up waiting for an hour. Would be easier to join the waitlist online at home and show up on time. Just for that reason my rating goes down. I really hope they change the list system
Robyn Drake
This place was so delicious. Great atmosphere, they had Anime playing and it was comfortable. The servings were huge and the staff was super friendly. Probably the best ramen I've had. :)
Teresa Fornoff
Loooove Tamashii. Best ramen in OKC. I was so excited when I came here the first time. I used to live in Japan, and it’s very hard to find authentic tasting Japanese food in the OKC area. The owner studied in Japan and I had a great conversation with his wife, Wakana.
Their ramen is amazing, though. I personally am a fan of the four-garlic ramen. I love the fact that you can customise and add/omit whatever you want! Great gyudon. All the appetisers are wonderful as well. They have a fantastic drink selection, especially their sake and beer. Tamashii has the feel of an izakaya in Japan. I love it! 11/10 will only come here for ramen.
Nick Dorsey
I live in Odessa, TX and it's impossible to find good ramen out there. Every time I come to Oklahoma city for business, this place is my go to.
Greg Phillips
The ramen is so flavorful and delicious. The servers were kind and and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Locale:
Enjoyable experience, good food!
Small locale, soft lighting helps mask how small this restaurant really is. 3 tables outside for 4 customers each table. 12 tables total inside, capable of sitting a family of 4 maybe 5. Additionally they have a bar with 12 stools. A little noisy, almost similar to a Waffle House atmosphere, where you can also see the chefs in action. Clean and presentable for its target customer base.
Staff: Friendly, attentive, and all wearing clean uniforms. Chefs were clean, careful and abide to all food handling expectations.
Beverages: Cold water as soon as I sat down. Good Japanese alcoholic beverage selection including Sake (cold and hot). Coca-Cola products fountain. Clean glasses, napkins and silverware.
Food:
My appetizer of choice was the Gyoza (pork, cabbage dumplings). Loved them. Slightly toasted on top, perfectly season l, just enough salt in the mix. The soy sauce to dip them in however, was a little too strong for my taste. They tasted great without the sauce however.
I sampled the Ninniku (Garlic) Tonkotsy Ramen. The garlics blended well, I'm not a lover of Chashu (pork belly), but it tasted good. The Negi (green onion) was whole not chopped which may be a different experience. The Menma (chopped bamboo) was my favorite part, they absorbed all the juices and flavors and actually were a very enjoyable part of the dish. I was not a huge fan of the Nitamago (seasoned soft-boiled eggs), personal preference. I noticed after my dish was cooling for a little that the fat began to solidify at the top, very fatty dish!
I also sampled the Garlic Fried Rice. It was a little burned at the bottom. The rice sits on top of eggs cooked over hard. The green onions were chopped this time. Did not taste incredible garlicky at all... as a matter of fact I purposely drank plenty of water to see if my taste buds were saturated with the garlic from the Ninniku... still no garlic flavor. After tasting small parts of it, I stumbled on small chunks of rice that had the garlic imbedded. I was slightly disappointed, because those little chunks tasted great.
Bathrooms. The males bathroom lock was broken, they posted a sign that asked to knock before entering. Very clean however and up to date. There was a single window with 8 squared glasses... only 6 were shaded for privacy, the top 2 were not shaded maybe something to consider when thinking of privacy. There was a random barstool sitting in front of the only toilet...I don't know what the purpose of it's existence in there was.
Overall an enjoyable experience. The previous noise comments were valid. A little noisy for a date or "quiet dinner". Definitely too noisy if needing to focus on school or work.
chris smith
I got the pleasure of tasting the garlic ramen and the octopus dumplings. I will be back to try more from the menu! The service is just as good as the food!
Rufus Howell (TheSlav27)
Ive traveled the states and had many kinds of ramen, but was pleasantly surprised to find the best tasting ramen so far in OKC. The broth of their shoyu tonkotsu was so rich that I'd have to say, it beat out the ramen I had in NYC. Good job.
M
This place is one of the best ramen spots I've tried in the US. The tonkatsu ramen reminded me of a spot I used to eat at when I was a kid growing up in Okinawa. The karaage is also top notch. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking g for a good ramen spot. The space is fairly small and it can get busy. They do have outdoor seating which is a plus when the weather is nice. Be sure to check their website for their hours. They close for a few hours between lunch and dinner.
Myrina Saner
Ramen was delicious, pot stickers were 🔥🔥🔥will definitely be back to try the rest of the ramen. …
Brooke Devine
This is a must stop, especially if you're an anime fan. TVs inside are typically playing a variety of shows!
I ordered the Dipping Noodles and some edamame. 10/10 would order again!
We made a reservation, which turned out to be the best option for us since there was a line when we arrived.
Jonathan Byrd
Hi had the triple garlic. Wife enjoyed chicken fried rice. Excellent service, this is our new favorite!!!
Overlord Alvarez
My experience here has always been 5 stars. I recommend the Tonkatsu. The Karaage are just Japanese Chicken Nuggets, still good. I prefer this location, over their new Edmond location, for date nights or possibly even business. I would call ahead to make a reservation since just about every time I go there's a 30 minute wait.
Justin Kincade
Definitely one of the best ramen joints I've been to. Food was fresh, service was good but the quality of the food made the entire experience. If you're looking for a ramen place that's close to what they serve in Japan this spot is definitely a must try!
Marat Nizberg
Best Ramen restaurant. Been coming for years every time I am in OKC. This time took the family. Everyone loved the food and drinks. I had Garlic Ramen for the first time and absolutely loved it
Brandy Bailey
I went to tamashii to try ramen for the first time. I ordered the garlic ramen and it was decent flavored. The dumplings were my favorite part of the dinner. Its a fairly long wait to be able to eat here. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan but it's definitely worth a try.
Dan Parsons
I’m a foodie, so I only post for places worth 5-stars. I don’t bother with anything less. Let’s get this out of the way first: if you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the place for you. But come back when you can slow down. You’ll thank me. Now to the food. I’m not even going to tell you what to order. You can see a pic of what I ordered but I’m not going to tell you what it was. Just GO! I mean, you’re looking at reviews for a ramen place. No more FOMO, stop reading reviews and get yourself over to Tamashii Ramen House. You’re welcome—in advance. Oh, and I lied. I will tell you to get the pot stickers. Rather, get several orders.
Tohka McDaniel
Tamashii was one of the best finds of the city. I love it, and I try to go every time I'm in town. It has some of the best Japanese food I've ever had.
The televisions are always playing some cheesy/fun anime, which is always fun.
The mochi ice cream is FANTASTIC!

Great food, great service, and great vibe. The food was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be returning.
Brian Dickey
It was fantastic! Service is fantastic. I usually get it to go but family was in town so we went there. It was my first time and it was a great experience. Make sure to reserve a table or you'll wait. They get alot of business.
K Sue G-C
Our 1st time here lived in Japan for 3 years and this food is very similar to what we had there. Highly recommend! Very tasty! Will be back for sure.
Katie S
Some of the best ramen I have ever had. The spicy raman was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was so relaxing. One Piece, Sailor Moon, and Demon Slayer were all paying on projectors. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Kayla Woommavovah
Came for the ramen, will come back again for the garlic fried rice.
Easy menu with add on to customize your ramen to your liking.
Jeramie OK
I rarely hand out 5 stars. Food was good, so was the service so it was warranted.
Overall, tasty fare not far from Bricktown. Modest parking and a small facility so make sure and call ahead to check wait times.
Tamashii offers decent portions and fair priced additions (black mushrooms, jalapeños, bean sprouts, etc.). Pot stickers were considerably better than expected. Most Ramen restaurants use the frozen, these may have been but were better quality.
Staff was attentive including a quick visit at the end of our lunch by the manager to check on us.
Location is the only miss for me. Had this been in Bricktown, at a larger facility it would be near perfect. Still, real-estate isn't cheap so it is fully understandable and will not dock the score.
Confident in the 5 star. Well done, Tamashii!
C Varty
If you are in downtown OKC this is must! Ah-Mazing ramen and their fried rice is absolutely great.
Hero Tiffin
this restaurant is popular in okc, you may need to be in a waitlist. but in my recent visit, the noodle tastes not soft enough, like underdone because of insufficient cook time
Minty
i love to go to tamashii!! the ramen is literally so good every time i’ve come:) the atmosphere of the place is amazing, and i love how they play anime while you eat!
Astral Void
Visiting Oklahoma for a few days and thought we'd try it. It was amazing! Our server explained the menu and the food was the best I've eaten in a long time. Their mochi is really good too, definitely recommend it.

Stopped in for a lunch with friends. I had the shisito peppers and vegan ramen (yes that's chicken. No, I'm not vegan). The peppers were a little tough and could've stayed on the flattop a little longer but the sauce was good and the Mackerel salt was great. My ramen looked great but was pretty bland, even trusty Sriracha didn't help much. The absolute star was our waiter Chandler!!!!!! My friend has a food allergy that prevents her from eating anything mammal and the lunch menu only offered one safe choice. Chandler was extremely patient and attentive to this issue and was able to make some alterations to some things so she could enjoy a few options. Overall, it was good lunch date, food was quick and staff was great.

Food evaluated: Minniku (garlic ramen)
- [ ] Unbelievable

- [X] Very good
- [ ] Good
- [ ] Nothing too special

Comments: Definitely a good balance of fatty and savory taste. Broth was thick, noodles were al dente, the seasonings were great. The chasu though felt tasteless, though the broth and other compliments of the noodle did help it quite a bit. Overall though, the lacking chasu did not necessarily take away from the ramen itself.

Comments: Considering the other downtown food offerings here in OKC, this definitely falls within the price range of being appropriate/fair. I paid $11.68 for the Minniku ramen w/ a glass of water.

Comments: Almost always sat down at the bar where there is an immediate opening as I generally come alone. If with parties, you may want to reserve a sit in advance before coming here as there is a limitation to seat availabilities here. Waitresses were great and attentive. They do have a habit of shouting Japanese dialogues as you arrive and leave, probably as an effort to make the place seem more authentic - however seeing as that all their waitresses were non-native Japanese, it comes off as slightly fake. You’ll get used to it if you come in often enough.

Comments: Aside from the waitress comments as above, the entire place seems close enough to capturing a homey Japanese ramen restaurant.
Conclusion: If you enjoy any bowl of ramen, I suggest you come by over here. This is only one of the few Asian restaurants that can competitively compete against California’s sort-of authentic Asian restaurants. This place comes second to Ajisen Ramen from Fremont, CA in my books. Have been coming by here almost every weekend since moving to OKC.

I am by no means a food connoisseur nor a food/restaurant critic. Food/restaurant review as above is my opinion alone. I am not paid by the restaurant as above. I do not derive any monetary benefit from this. I am bored, accidentally bought an iPad Pro w/ a keyboard, and I do not simply have better to do.

Incredible lunch and altogether great experience. First time here and already looking forward to the next time. Loved having the extra spicy bomb to experiment with some heat. So good!

This is an awesome place I wish we had one in Tulsa, its worth the drive to okc for the food! You have to Try this out. I will definitely be going back as soon as I can!!

Very good!I have the Curry Ramen definitely we will be back !the atmosphere it's really nice and the Service Exellent 👍👍 …

The ramen here is amazing! Definitely go! They have an online seat reservation and typical wait time to be seated has been 30-45 minutes so far. I’m sure they have faster and slower days, but the wait is always so worth it!
Brian Kenar-Castro
The food was delicious, the staff so helpful and patient and overall great in all aspects. Especially the manager, helped me and the wife a lot along with our waitress! With such an awesome staff to go along with the great food it's a worthy place to visit and return!

I lived in Japan for 7+ years, so I had to give this place a try to fill that craving I had for authentic Japanese Ramen. Did Tamashii Ramen House deliver? They did when it came to the Ramen.
-Tonkotsu Ramen, the soup stock really carried the dish and left you wanting more. The Pork Belly was high quality with only one slice though, and there was hardly any green onion. For $9.50 I expected a bit more in the base dish. They did offer addons in which you could pay extra, but they were a bit pricey for what you got. 4/5 on the quality and I would certainly go back for another bowl.
-The Chashudon was only a 3/5 for me. The dish was very sweet with to much sauce pored onto it. There was a good portion of pork and the rice was perfect. Also, my bad on this, but I didn't fully read the menu on what was on the dish by default, and it caught me 100% off guard that there was mayo on it (I cannot stand mayo, and the places I used to eat this dish didn't put mayo on it). The server was very nice and brought another Chashudon without mayo! They saved the day.
The Gyoza here I'd give a 4/5 on quality.
Overall I'd recommend trying Tamashii Ramen House. The service was very good despite it being packed in there when we went, and they did a great job on their Ramen.
Leeno
I had a mini kyudon, karage(fried chicken), and curry ramen.
The Kydon and the chicken was good, but the ramen was a little greasy.
I waited for 30m.
Chau Nguyen
Ramen is really good. The monster garlic fried rice is really good, but it's on the salty side, it would be better if you pour the sauce in yourself instead of letting the server pour all of it in.
Jason Walsh
Had a top of the line experience at Tamashii Ramen house. The staff was extremely attentive, my server changed after I ordered, and the service was so good I barely noticed. My bowl of tonkotsu ramen hit the spot, and my karaage app was great as well. They understand they are selling an experience just as much as the food they serve, and it was evident. Thanks Alex and George, I'll be back!
Matt LaVoie
Brendan gave us the best anniversary dinner experience ever! The ramen here is the best in town and we tried their new crepe cake dessert from their new food truck and it was amazing! Definitely coming back again and will recommend this place.
Jamie Lynn Dizon
Such a great dinner spot! The service, ambiance and food were all superb!!! The ramen was out of this world

Delicious. Loved how anime was playing while I was eating. Great service, and you even get greeted inside! Would recommend 100%
Larry Asberry Jr. (Bluemanrule)
The wife suggested Tamashii for our date night and it did not disappoint. The place has an enclosed outside area with heated lights. It really helped keep us warm. I ordered the Mail Tai and the Ginger Rice Karaage Don style from the Secret Menu (both pictured). Both were fantastic! I also tried my wife's Curry Ramen and it was legit!
The wait staff, Bekah, was excellent. She was attentive and all her recommendations were spot-on. This is high in the rotation and we will definitely return soon!

It was wonderful! Definitely the best place I've been to for ramen in okc. The gyoza was soooo good 👍 and the garlic fried rice was delicious and almost creamy but crispy, highly recommend. The garlic ramen was really good also. We did have a bit of a wait, about 30 mins. on a Wednesday at 7pm, so if you can reserve a table ahead of time, you should. There is inside and patio dining. As of June 2021 they were alternating tables it seems. The atmosphere was pretty cool, kinda Akira alley mixed with plaza district, anime was projected onto two walls. There is parking nearby but as I said, it was pretty busy so we had to park about a block away, not too far of a walk. There are lots of cocktail options, all around $8-10. We will be back!
Laticia Zuniga
I didn't read the food because I didn't eat it I was just picking up food but I rated the service three stars only because I waited over 20 minutes and I kept having to ask him for my order for doordash
Brian Arrington
I’ve just given up going here anymore the last 3 times I’ve driven halfway across town to go here there’s been a 2 hour wait. Not going to waste my time and gas money again. Such a shame too cause I love the food. I just don’t understand why they have that entire patio areas that they’ve invested money in and only use it for 2 tables and for staff to fold napkins. Seems to me it would be better utilized to seat patrons and make money.
Melissa Gravelle
Amazing place to try out on food adventures. It was our first time here. We tried the gyoza and the garlic ramen and let me just say that it met our expectations and then some. We definitely will be back. The service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious and flavorful.
Kuty Hooves
This is my go to for an authentic ramen experience. Great place for a first date, or needing to be warmed up with some great food without breaking your wallet. I always have tons to take home. The Tonkotsu, and Katsudon are my go-to's there always 10/10.
Alyssa Highley
Place always has excellent food. I will not trash talk other ramen joints but all I can say is I've NEVER had poor service or food from these guys and they will always be my go to for quality ramen.
Also! We saw a guy accidentally drop his food as he was leaving and the staff went ahead and just replaced his order! Talk about saving a bad day from happening. I would have been in tears if it were me who would have had a day like that.
Update: I still absolutely love this place and the service. It has become popular enough to where there is almost always an hour wait so I'd say put your name on the list at least an hour before you are ready to eat.
Jason Watt
Best ramen in town, IMO. Great food and service too! Just be prepared for a long wait
arsenal666
This restaurant awesome. The gyoza is the best I have ever had. And it tastes fresh. I ended up getting an additional gyoza order to go because it was so good. The ramen was very tasty especially the spicy ramen.
Lyza Lopez
Love coming to Tamashii for their ramen. But my absolute favorite dish is the chashudon. Each time we've visited, they have had an anime show playing, so the kiddo really enjoys coming along for that.
Jessica Pepper
This was our first time to visit Tamashii (matter of fact, it was our first experience to any Ramen restaurant) and we will definitely be back. We live four hours away and were looking for something different and easy for my husband to eat because he had jaw surgery less than a week ago in OKC. The service was excellent and the owner/manager came to our table since it was our first experience and gave us a card for free edamame on our second visit…..which will be in about a month for a post-op visit. Catch you all next month!!!
ellis473
Prices were reasonable, and food was good. It was far from the best ramen, but it was certainly enjoyable all the same. Some of their add-ons I felt were extremely expensive. I bought the extremely spicy bomb for a dollar and it was nothing more than some crushed red pepper paste. It didn't even add that much spice to my ramen. I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice
Caitlynn Phillips
I used to LOVE this ramen shop (Been going here for years now). I would go here several times a month for their amazing ramen.
Unfortunately, they just changed their tonkotsu broth recipe and it isn’t as good as their previous version in my opinion…
There was a noticeable color change in the broth and I asked the waitress if their broth was different, and she confirmed they just changed how they made it.
It’s not bad by any means, but it’s definitely not as good. Much harder to eat a full bowl of ramen.
Current version of the broth doesn’t have me craving going back for more. Sad to say the least.. I hope maybe they can bring back the old style of broth. I still recommend people try this ramen shop at least once.
James Clements
First off, great service. I ordered the spicy miso with braised pork belly. It was absolutely divine. The pork was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend you stop in for a bowl of heaven.
Shelbi Tapper
This was my first time eating at a restaurant in over a year, and Tamashii was absolutely the correct choice for our vaccination +2week celebration!
I was hella anxious about it, but they have a QR wait list, spaced out seating, QR menus, and the staff was wearing masks at all times.
On top of putting me at ease, the food was an absolute slam dunk as always, and the staff is just as lovely as ever!
Allyssa G.
Wish I could give this place 10 stars!!! Absolutely the best ramen I've ever eaten! Try the Edamame Aijitsuki style, so gooood!! We had a bit of a wait, but it was a Friday night so we expected it... definitely worth the wait! Looking forward to going again soon!! 🍜 …

Oh gosh, I ate lots of ramen in Japan, NYC, Seattle, and many other cities. But this place is in my top 5 best ramen place now. It’s a such shame that we are just stopping by okc not living here. But if it wasn’t tornado in okc, I could move to okc just for this ramen place. Fyi, my favorite ramen place is Ichiran which is a very famous Japanese ramen place. But Tamashii chashu beats theirs. What a gem!!
Jay Skinner
This place has the best ramen I've found since Houston.
Spicy miso is great but Curry is where it's at.
Can't go wrong with anything, tbh.
Ash Chinda
This place does get busy pretty fast, because it's a small place. So if there is a wait it's definitely worth it. Also if you plan on getting the Fuji toast dessert, tell you server either while you order your entrees, or when your entrees come out.
Tim Calkins
I cannot stress this next statement enough. If you are a weeb and you enjoy authentic Japanese ramen then you’ll feel right at home here. The spice bombs definitely help kick up the flavor of your ramen and the mochi ice cream is just ridiculously frickin amazing. Do yourself a favor and go try this place out. You won’t be disappointed.
Brock
The Japanese Curry was delicious! I kinda wish the karaage chicken was crispier, but it was still really good. The mochi ice cream was good. I can't wait to try the ramen next time. Minus 1 star because the chicken wasn't as crispy as I expect, and charged $1 for a small side of spice for the curry. Maybe it's fancy or something, but I feel like you could just include it as a smaller free portion of spice with the curry. Still good flavor, thanks.
Tammy Mccauley
Today, we got right in, seated, and waited on. We ordered our usual. Food was as great as always. Staff was helpful and friendly. It is a fast paced place.
Zachary A-Fard
Fun atmosphere with great tasting Ramen. Personally not a fan of seafood but the spicy Ramen was nice and I really liked the consistency of my noodles.
Leslie Travis
It was so yummy! Never had real roman before. Service was fast and friendly. Explained what every thing was! I had the garlic roman. Delicious! Great atmosphere! Does get crowded but definitely a great experience!
Ilse Cardoza
Wow .
A wait on a Tuesday night I said - ok then it must be good.
Ordered the potstickers & they were amazing!
Had the spicy miso ramen! Super rich and flavorful broth
Idk how I ended up here but I’m glad I did!
Give it a go!

Went with a couple friends of mine last week when it was really cold out, love the experience where you get the menu by scanning the QR code on the wall, our ramen came out nice and hot. I got the tonkatsu ramen. It was a little too salty for me. Don’t forget to ask for their chili bom for some extra kick. My friend ordered the Ninniku tonkatsu ramen that’s really garlicky and taste fantastic. Overall it was a good experience especially on a cold rainy day when you craving for some hot soup.
Vinh Tran
Price here is around 9-12 depend on what topping you want. If you are new here, I would recommend tonkotsu ramen with narutomaki topping. Also, appetizer would be takoyaki if you are not allergic to seafood.
DeWitney Langley
Delicious food and awesome atmosphere Great experience
Susan Wilmoth
Food was awesome. Waiter not so much, did not check in to see if we needed anything. Or offer refills on drinks
vanessa Coggins
Food was pretty good. 2 out of 3 of the didhes were great.. Hostess was rude.
ajc 2990
Right near the heart of downtown OKC, I Got introduced to this place by a coworker. Prices are great and the food is delicious. Spicy ramen is my go to!
Christopher George-Twyman
My ramen was very tasty. Maybe not worth a 2 hour wait though... Build a bigger restaurant.
porsha parks
The food and service was excellent I will call earlier for reservation there may be a wait time but other than that it was a great experience and great food
Trevor Tyree
Mitchell is/was a helpful rockstar! Eating the wonderful garlicky ramen was like the culinary equivalent of acing a super mario 64 cloud level.
Sybil Wild
Best ramen place I have ever been to, including a couple places in NYC, best ramen. Great sweetened green tea, as well. Fantastic food, fast service, great place. There's usually a long wait but it's 100% worth it!
강승엽
this is an extremely popular japanese ramen location. i know its popular because everytime i am here there is a wait. and i delivered for this location 7 or 8 times in span of 3 weeks; the most of all places in that time frame. finally got to try their food with my girlfriend who happens to really like the food here but this was my first time eating their food. the food is decent. the parking lot nearby really needs to be repaired however.
Michelle Kimberly
This place has the best fried rice I’ve ever had. (The empty skillet was where the fried rice was...i couldn’t wait) The ramen is also very delicious 😋 I’ve tried almost every bowl on the menu and have never been disappointed! …
Handyish Randyish
Had the spicy miso ramen with an added egg. Ramen was good and the waiter did a great job
Devon Schamber
I was surprised at how cool this place is! I'm not from the area, but any time I come back I'll be for sure coming here. Service was great and the food was too. 10/10
Josh Eaton
The, hands down, best ramen in okc. Whenever I'm having a bad day, I get myself a bowl of tonkotsu from tamashi. The broth is amazing and the flavor combos that are included shouldn't be missed. It's just a beautiful dish. Keep in mind it's a small restaurant and it is extremely popular so if you want a table you will have to wait unless you are going at an odd time. I find that going around 2 or 3 in the afternoon will usually get you a table with no wait.
Bobby Gaines
If you are looking for some ramen look no further. I have been here many time never a bad experience. Outstanding staff very attentive, great knowledge of the food and how it pears with what drink. Feel at home inside at the and watch your meal being make. Get cozy in a booth eat and watch some anime. If not sit outside enjoy the cool breeze fresh air.
Ty Foust
Love the food, especially the rice they show some good animes well eating and the staff is amazing
Gaven Kirkhart
It’s a great place to eat, the only reason I give it three stars is the wait time. You have a lot of people coming in to eat, then spend another two hours drinking. Which is fine, it’s a great source of income for the restaurant, but with your bar being closed it makes it so the business has little to no flow of operations. If half the people at your restaurant were moved to the bar after finishing their food your restaurant would be able to handle more business, regardless, it’s amazingly good food.
Ryan Bishop
I finally got a chance to go here and see what all my friends have been raving about. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I walked away with discontent. I watched my friends douse their bowls with sriracha, I suppose I should have done the same. I ate my noodles as is, which resulted in a very earthy bland taste. I also had the pleasure of trying the octopus deep fried balls. This was more of a novelty than taste and the chewy texture never sits well with me. The service was good and had a nice upbeat atmosphere - reminded me of a hole-in-the-wall bar. My friends still love this place, but I'm not sold.
James Lo
Truly a restaurant with ramen-damashii!
Their karaage, miso ramen. All superb! Especially their ramen is different from other ramen places, very chewy. And rarely see ramen in US with moyashi and menma added…
FYI, owner himself/herself is Okinawan, I heard
Daniel Roberto Aguirre Flores
My favorite ramen in OKC. And they have 1 vegan ramen and 1 vegetarian fried rice that are really good.
A Note Less Than Three (amanda)
I got the Spicy Ramen, with sparking peach sake. Absolutely amazing! I’ve been to other ramen houses in the city, and NO ONE, has their prices OR flavors. And they we’re playing My Hero Academia on the t.v’s! All in all, the it’s best place for anime and ramen. 1000%
remembering
Very good. The portion was a little small but delicious. Long wait, so sign in before you go. The app said 0 minutes but turned out to be 45. Would definitely go back.
One of the few places in downtown you can easily find vegan options and they will work to customize what you want.
Kat Laurange
I do love ramen, but as a person with dietary restrictions I struggled to find something on the menu I could safely eat. On the positive side, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and basically created a special dish just for me. If this place had gluten free options it would be 5 stars for sure.
Julie C
We normally frequent the Edmond location and can say that the Midtown location meets expectations. Really great consistent food with friendly service.
Lauren Lohmiller
Absolutely delicious! Plan well if you’re coming here because the wait is the only down side of getting here. But the servers are wonderful, polite, incredibly hard working, and the food is amazing! 100% recommend the garlic rice and the cherry blossom old fashion. You like Asian food, and real quality Asian food, this is the place for you!
BewareThe Chey
This was delicious. We are from Ohio and have some delicious ramen shops where we are and this one was really great! Expect a little bit of wait but it was worth it.

[ATTENTION ALL VEGANS]
I’ve been vegan for almost 2years and have been to vegan restaurants all over ! This is one the best vegan experiences I’ve ever had !! I know they’re not a fully vegan restaurant and have only a few vegan options but my oh my it’s above 5 stars !! You must try if you are or not vegan 🌱!!! Order the vegan Raman !! We even choose vegan fried rice !!! Never had rice that tasted so goood I’m so flabbergasted!!
Mandy Dae
Love it here. Not only ate we anime fans but also fan of Japanese style foods. The mixture of both fandom here is Otaku heaven.
Garrett Baker (24GarrettGold)
In my opinion, this is the best ramen in the city hands down. Their pork belly is so tender, thick ramen noodles, broth that is bursting with flavor, and great service to top it all off. It makes for a nice cozy dim lit environment to take a date.
Hidden bonus for my date and I is that we are both big anime fans and they had the original Dragon Ball series playing on the flat screen over the bar. It was fantastic 😁
Erin Lovan
WOW this place was spectacular. The service was above and beyond. The food was so good. Management made sure we had a great experience. Their patio is dog friendly so we were able to eat there while traveling with our two dogs. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant!
Marci Lloyd
Soooo yummy!!!! I've been wanting to try for a while now because we always hear good things! We finally went for our anniversary! Glad we didn't take the kids, it's pretty small and it's mostly bar seating. Also...parking is not the best...but all in all..I'd most definitely go again or get take out. The food is just delicious!
Flower Big Soldier
Loved it! It was so good! Chashudon was my favorite! We will be back for sure!
Logan Davis
Best Oriental cuisine i've had since I went to Japan! Tamashii is a great, affordable place to eat in the OKC area, and you won't find a friendlier wait staff anywhere in the state. They're respectful and attentive, without being pushy or hovering. Usually, they'll have a few different shows playing with subtitles on the two t.v.s behind the bar. Sometimes they'll both be playing anime, but they sometimes will play american shows as well through netflix. The menu is appropriately priced, and I personally Guarantee that whatever you order will leave both your tastebuds and your stomach satisfied! My Wife can never finish her portion!
Christopher Porter
Good food, great service and we will be back! Recommend adding on to your Raman to make what was already great, even better! For two people you see in the picture, it was a but too much food.
FlaresoulZ _
Amazing a lil wait but worth love that they greet you in Japanese lmao my server was surprised how much Japanese I spoke he was amazing food was amazing yall for reals gotta come here
Bri B.
This place is AMAZING!!! If I could give it 10 stars I totally would!!! Staff was super friendly, atmosphere was really cool, they had 3 different animes playing on each wall! And the food was ooooh my! SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! The meat in the Ramen practically melted in your mouth!🤤
100% recommend!!!
jemma stone
If there was a six star i would of pressed it this place is AMAZING!!!! Food was amazing staff was amazing cant wait to go back. We did have an hour wait on the weekend but let me tell u its well worth the wait! We just enjoyed the surrounding entertainments downtown has to offer until our table was ready. And prices WOW so affordable!
V’lasha “V” Harvey
Came here with my bf and kids my son's birthday and it was great. We loved it and the kids really liked the anime that was shown. Our waiter was George and he made sure we were good and asked how we liked everything and at the end of the meal since we'd never been there the manager came out and talked to us and asked how our experience was. We will definitely will be back.
M F
Best Ramen in the area. Pretty close to authentic Japanese Ramen. We will definitely be going back!
Raymond Tu
Beautiful place, staff was very quick and adamant about serving me. Food was absolutely killer. Spicy Miso Ramen is pictured with an egg. Spice level is about on par as crunching on fresh black pepper.
DragonBoi OwO
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing people, amazing shows on the TV's, everything about this place is amazing. If you're in the fence about going, PLEASE GO. You won't be disappointed, everything I've ordered from here is absolutely delicious, and I've eaten myself stupid every time I've gone.
YUNJIE WEN
Best ramen house in town. Very accurate in their open hours for holidays!
Ivy Ash lock
I’m giving this place a 4 star mainly because of the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. We’ve eaten ramen several times. The flavor in the broth is just not what I like. The noodles and other ingredients were good.
Stacy Barks
Stopped in on a coworker's recommendation. On a Tuesday night I wasn't expecting a 35 minute wait, but I am so glad I waited. This was one of the best meals I have had in a long time... Being from Houston, that says a lot. I had the Chashudon to start. It is rich, tender, with exceptionally balanced sweet and savory. I followed it with Spicy Ramen and a soft boiled egg. The spice was just right, ground pork didn't get lost in the bottom of the bowl, and the broth was out of this world. Tamashii has been added to my must have list for OKC.
Aaron C. Gonzalez
Amazing food. Went during peak dinner hours so waited 30-45 min for table. Worth it though. Will definitely eat here anytime I'm in OKC.
Kera Calkins
Limited parking, and long wait time for a table, but the food and atmosphere are wonderful. Love this place.
David Broadwell
I ordered Tonkotsu Ramen ... I'm not a small eater, and yet, I was not able to finish this savory and complex ramen. You'll need a endless pot of green tea served in cast iron pot and cups to cut the savory and make it hit you again on the next slurp. Even if the inside is too busy for you, sit outside under the IR heaters and get closer to your date.
Trevor Shelby
Delicious food. I will be coming back again. This was my first time having real Ramen and it was amazing. There was a little wait when I got there but their outdoor patio was nice to wait at.
Ryan Bailey
Great food, great service! I'm glad they turned on the subtitles for the anime but I wish I could actually hear it.
Angel Montúfar
Authentic. Came to Oklahoma City wondering if I would be able to find a ramen house who makes me feel as if I’m stepping into another world. Not only did they do that with the gorgeous display but with my taste buds. The hour I spent there I was no longer in OK but in an experience that makes me crave more.
The service was quick and great. Waited about 20minutes which gave me time to look at the menu and make my decisions!
I started off with the “Tokoyaki” Crispy octopus dumplings, glazed with a sweet and tangy sauce. My mouth exploded and my happy dance begun. Few minutes after finishing my ramen came...
The “Tonkotsu Ramen” was surreal. I got the Shoyu base which was a soy sauce based seasoning. You can also get the classic salt seasoning! I added a spicy bomb bc spicy is life! And Narutomaki, fish cake.
Lastly I was convinced to get dessert and it made me happier lol. I left full and complete. Will be back. This is my spot now while I am here the next few years.
Megan Hyler
This is one of the few places that is great whether you are dining in or taking out! I get their garlic ramen frequently and it’s one of my favorite things to get to enjoy at home. They also are open until 10pm on Sunday and Monday which seem to be the days where we need a late dinner. My only qualm is their dining room seems to be really warm, but maybe I was just sitting in the wrong spot.
soph rw
Our waiter Jake was awesome. Super fast, nice and they have good noodles
Samantha Partido
Yummmmm. Look I've never not been here without at least an hour wait but let me tell you it's absolutely worth it. Just put your name in walk across the street and get a drink at R&J's or something, and vibe. Service wasn't the most efficient but super friendly and the real star is the food. I don't think there's a single ramen you could get on the menu that isn't incredibly delicious. Highly suggest the butter corn ramen with the spice bomb, sooooo good.
Rob
There’s ain’t the ramen bowls I grew up on lol. But they are really delicious and you should definitely try it. They got the whole asian vibe going with the anime playing on the walls. Nice drink menu as well
Denice Dublin
The Ramen is delicious, the servers are fun and the atmosphere is always busy. It's a great place to eat. Very tasty.
Jeremy Pome
Great food and friendly service—-once you manage to get a table. It’s kind of disorganized up front in the waiting area. Garlic tonkotsu ramen was wonderful and the food came out really fast.
Zack McMurphy
Great food in an awesome area. Ask for Mitch. Best server in OKC.

Super friendly, very delicious food, unbelievably delicious. Amazing Chopsticks 🥢, and if it’s your fist time you will get a voucher for free appetizer for your next visit. They do get very busy not sure if they have reservations but we went in around 9:30 PM
Z Wilson
Cozy spot with indoor/outdoor seating, with heat lamps outside. They were getting a constant flow of folks, which speaks to the great flavor of the ramen. Will be back again.
Joseph Beltran Jamayo
Delicious ramen! We had to wait for about 45 minutes before we were accomodated but the staff explained why very nicely and we were really hankering for some ramen for a while now, so we happily waited to be seated. The staff was very friendly and always made sure we have everything we ordered for and needed. Our daughter loved the ramen broth, as did we! Hopefully, we could have the option of choosing the firmness of the noodles (I personally love extra firm ramen noodles - something that we had the option of choosing from a popular ramen shop in London). Overall, a great experience, a chill and easy-going ambience! By the way, kudos to the anime theme!😁
C.Kennedy Reyes
Was surprised to see a packed house until I was served! Tamashii Ramen excels in both flavor and portions! Me and my friends walked away with fully bellies and big smiles! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming and out server was such a joy! Thank you for such a fun night!
Ace Garrett
I have only been to OKC three times—I live 5 hours away—but after eating at Tomashii the first visit, I have been completely in love. I have been back every other time (usually twice in a weekend) and will forever! I'm genuinely shocked every time at how delicious the ramen is (Tonkatsu Shoyu is my go-to).
Teddy Winter
bomb ramen! they have anime on the tvs which so cool! i love one piece! the karaage was bangin and the ramen was exquisite.
Kara Towler
Was really good. Waitress and other wait staff was awesome. The monster garlic fried rice is one of the meals I have had multiple times and tastes just as good as it did the first time. Will come here again
Stephanie Christian
First time Ramen. Couldn't have picked a better place. The first day we came by, there was an hour wait. So we came at opening the next day. The line was still long but we got one of the first seats. The inside is small and they're still trying to keep spots near the kitchen closed for safety...The wait is worth it! The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though the line was long there was no rush to hurry once we had our food. The food was DELICIOUS! Who knew Ramen could be so diverse. And the green tea was lovely. Living 1 hour away will not stop us from returning. Also, going to see how the Edmond location measures up.
Patricia Green
The food was so delicious and the staff were wonderful!! It's definitely going to be my new fav!
ALLIE SIMPSON
Ramen was amazing, food came out fast! Ask for Mitchell H. awesome host!
Brian Pugatch
Definitely made me a believer! Any other place I have been has left me feeling like i paid incredibly too much for just a bowl of soup.Tamashii offers a very unique flavor that I am certain I could not replicate at home. I highly recommend the spicy ramen with added egg and 🍄! Gyoza was amazing as well! …
Rafael Roman
I came from Ohio. It was my first time, the food was delicious. 1,000% recommended. I would like to come later again.
Eden Rivera
This place slaps every single time. You will have to wait for a table, but it’s so worth it. The drinks, the apps and the food are all 10/10. This place is affordable and the best ramen restaurant in OKC. Brooke makes this place feel like home for us. Love, love, love it!
Jimmy Mo (Jimmy)
Tonkotsu ramen was great. My favorite part of this ramen was the meat. Absolutely tasty meat. I thought soup and noodle are above avarage as well, but nothing special. Service was excellent; no compaint there. I could have given 5 stars if I had to wait less than 20 mins. (45 minute wait on Tuesday 6:30pm)
Parker Story
I live in Kansas City, but eat here every single time I come to OKC to visit my family. I have no favorite restaurants back home because Tamashi is the best place ever. I've never found better ramen, and the quality is outstanding every single time. The staff is also wonderful and provides perfect service! Plan to come early, get on the waitlist, and go outside and talk with friends while you wait- it's totally worth it :)
Barron huffman
Been to alot of ramen places from OKC, Dallas, Houston, Tampa, New York, and tamashi is still a top ten contender time and time again.
Finnley Evans
Tried this place for the first time last night, it was a surprise date night. The wait (50 minutes) was absolutely worth it. The process of checking in via QR is fantastic. The ambiance was fantastic. The Japanese margarita was delicious and so was the curry ramen. Tau was such an amazing server too. Best ramen from food to experience.
Veronica Tuttle
Excellent service, and the food is exceptionally delicious! Our wait was an hour and 20 minutes, though. It was worth it!
Danielle Nipper
Chandler was our server and he was amazing! Everyone there was amazing actually and the food was spectacular! We sat on the patio and it was quite lovely. I will definitely return and if I don't want to go all the way there I can always door dash it, I hear they take special care packing the ramen so it is still yummy when it arrives. Try the garlic rice and add chicken!
Jack Feist
Got the spicy ramen. Absolutely delicious! Great service, nice atmosphere!
Angelique Chamberlain
It was lunchtime. Didn't have to wait long for a table. The unsweetened ice tea wasn't great. The food was good. I had the Miso Butter Corn Ramen. I didn't know any of the Japanese words so I wasn't sure what all it included. It was tasty and filling, though. When I took a bathroom break, one of the ladies started clearing my table before my waitress could stop her. The manager was apologetic and offered to bring me another bowl. I didn't want more, so she took the price of the tea off my bill. That was sweet. The waitress got me a tea to go and remembered that I used Splenda with it. That was really nice, too. I think the people there are great!
Shay Lynn
I've been here 3 times now and the food has only gotten better. I got the spicy miso ramen and it was so tasty, not too spicy and very flavorful. The tofu is eyes-rolling-back delicious. The garlic fried rice is absolutely amazing, edamame is great. I will definitely be coming back again.
Chance Eminhizer
Great customer experience! Best Japanese food in town. Wonderful environment.
Rachel Sivinski
Some of the best ramen in OKC. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere.
Grahm H
Frick yeah this place is incredible. Always have to wait to be seated but that’s because so many people know what’s up. Best way to eat here is to order a bunch of appetizers so you get to try 4~ things instead of one entre. My favorite so far is the secret menu garlic fried rice with karaage
Ryan Merrill
Tamashii Ramen House is the best ramen joint in all of Oklahoma!! Not only that, its one of the best restaurants in Oklahoma City. Its not hard to tell because the place is always packed. The service is great though so you never have to wait too long. Plus they have a service that will send you a text when your table is available.
They have several different kinds of Ramen, all of which are great. Their Tonkotsu Shoyu is by far my favorite and absolutely full of fresh flavor! I've never had anything else like, and can't find anything like it anywhere else. All of their ramen is full of unique flavors.
Aside from Ramen they have several great appetizers, a couple of which could serve as a meal of its own. Their Chasudon is amazing, seared pork belly on top of rice with aioli sauce on top, its the bomb!! Their fried rice is amazing as well, and their recipe for fried rice is very unique and different.
One more thing worth mentioning is the prices. They are VERY reasonable for ramen. You could stroll in for lunch and get a hearty generously portioned bowl of ramen for $9-14, and come out satisfied. My favorite the Tonkotsu is only $9.75. Add a large fry to your meal at Whattaburger and your paying about the same prize, its amazing!!
If you haven't tried this place, then you should make plans. Its the best ramen around!
Mohsin Pasha
Wish I dined in. Very cool vibe inside. Took the food home and a little bit pricy but taste was worth it in my opinion.
Elverna Spottedwolf
Great food & Great service! Looking forward to eating here again real soon!
Dave Abramowitz
Really enjoyed it. Will definitely go back. And the kitchen is open and serving late!
Zair Delgado (V)
I love the food, it's just full of people almost all the time so the wait time is pretty high
Johnny McDonald
Wait staff was quick and friendly, quick with the drinks and the food wasn't too far behind. Delicious.
Melanie Hughes
Spicy beef is more of a ground beef but it’s awesome! Potstickers some of the best I’ve ever had. Two thumbs up will be back!
Earl Ferguson
Brothalicious!!! I ordered the garlic curry ramen and it was amazing!!!! Place was packed. On the tvs they were showing one punch man and my hero which was cool. My gf had the vegan ramen and she enjoyed it. I tried it, it wasnt my thing but whatever. Only complaint, better soda selection.
Kaldwell Grant
As far as ramen places go, you can't beat Tamashii. The food, the atmosphere, it all works. And they were playing Blue Exorcist AND Hunter X Hunter. Solid win.
Angela Belveal
We had a lovely lunch of Ramen and fried rice! Everything is so rich in flavor. We will be back again soon
Cody Monday
Good food. Excellent service. Small space but the atmosphere was nice. And you can sit outside or at the bar to be served faster. It’s a little pricey for what you get. But then again it’s in the downtown area.
Clarissa Pruett
Hands down the best ramen. I live 2 hours away and constantly try to talk my husband into driving just to eat here! I have tried several ramen places and have yet to find one that compares to this restaurant!! The prices are great as well as the drinks!
John Buckley
Bottom line: unique and delicious ramen with extremely friendly service.
I got the spicy Miso ramen which I was obsessed with. The broth was a bit more glossy and rich than other ramen places I've been to, but it was still very tasty. I added the egg to it as well and it might have been one of the best soft boiled eggs I've ever eaten. They had a great Japanese menu I wanted to try as well. Fun atmosphere too!
Laurence Chang
Raman is decent, and rice is way too wet though.
Courtney H
For my first ramen experience I was extremely impressed. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. Me and my best friend will be back!
L V
Great food and service but the other tamashi definitely makes the better garlic fried rice
Sydnee Gunter
My all-time FAVORITE restaurant!
My husband and I eat at Tamashiis nearly every week, and I truly do not think we'll get tired of it! I get the same thing every time (spicy miso ramen) and my husband gets the gyoza and either the spicy miso or the garlic fried rice with karaage!
The gyoza is the best gyoza we've had; From the crispiness, to the filling, to the sauce mixture, they're amazing.
The staff is always so great and on top of things! The wait can be long, but it is so worth it--We've waited over 1 and a half hours to eat there, and we had no regrets!
Highly recommend!
Jill Stringer
Love this place! The fried rice with spicy sausage is delicious. Everything I’ve had has been really good. Be prepared for a wait at lunchtime. It’s worth it though!
Kevin Bahner
First time experience was great, will definitely be back.
Gabriela Pando
I Was really impressed with our 1st time coming. The staff were awesome, you do have to scan a qr code to checkin but its 2022 thats totally normal especially after covid. I was offered a drink while waiting which was nice. Really cute space inside and out will be awesome when fall hits to eat ramen outside on the patio. Ramen was awesome full of flavor but you like to add a bit a spice order the spice bombs in regular or extra on the spice level. Will be back again for sure.
Caleb Kretzschmar
Mitchell did an awesome job, definitely will ask for him again!
Julie Adams
We love this place and eat here often! Just wish they would time our foods together. When three of us go, two have their food and are done eating before the third is served. Happens every time. But, it’s great food!
Carly Boehmer
Usually so good at this location but not today. I got the curry. Chicken was full of fat and gristle. Rice seemed old and I placed the order when they opened.
Elise Van de Putte
Amazing food and lovely service
Darian Youmans
Totally enjoyed eating here. Friendly staff, great service. Food was delicious. We'll be back soon.
Alejandro Murray
Best Ramen in town! also the place is well decorated, it makes you feel like like you are outside the US
Lorri Cortez
We went to Tamashii Ramen House a couple of nights ago for dinner and it was fabulous! Our server was Brooke and she was amazing! Her knowledge of the menu and the restaurant in general was excellent. Her recommendations were spot on and her personality and demeanor were a pleasure. The food was spectacular! I have nothing but good things to say about this place and would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a yummy change for dinner!
Jake Miranda
Had a great time, service was good, food was delicious. Will come back next time I am in OKC.
Alli DelaRosa
I’ve had a couple vegetarian ramens from different locations and I would say Tamashii’s vegetarian ramen is about average. The egg was really good though.
Ericka Burleson
We love Ramon! Perfect place to catch a bite and relax!
Brian Sauls
This place was an appreciated breath of fresh air. Good food, good service, great atmosphere. Unexpected cuisine for OKLAHOMA, and very much appreciated.
Kara Heintz
Best food and staff! We love coming here! And YES, the wait is worth it!
Jenelle Powell
The food is simply amazing. I can only give 3 stars due to a couple issues. We sat in the patio area and there were a group of drunk people hanging around inside. Assuming they were waiting for a table but they were very obnoxious and smoking black and milds. It being a chilly night they had the patio covers closed. The other issue is once we were sat we waited 15+ minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us. Once our Order was taken the food came out fairly quick. I recommend getting the food To go vs dining in.
Nancy Ryan
This is the best place for ramen, as far as I’m concerned! The wait for a table can be long, but that’s because they are so popular. It’s well worth the wait. The garlic fried rice is excellent, and the different ramen dishes we’ve tried between me and my husband have all been great. If you order to go, they package the broth separately from the noodles and other toppings, which makes it “travel” well, I highly recommend this place!
Lindzkess
Great place to dine in and get great food. I think these pictures speak for themselves!
David Case
This place is great! I had the vegan broth ramen with extra noodles and mushrooms. I’m only in okc for a month but I’ll definitely go back.

A good ramen a d fiji toast I love it
The miso soup very good friendly staff good service
I will be back
Chris py
Food is five star worthy and absolutely delicious. Knocking off a star for the wait time. The sign had a 20 minute wait time and the time was an hour for us.
Shawn McAnelly
The food was amazing and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The NInniku really hit the spot.
erika alexis
Just take the food to go. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the food is always delicious. The customer service however varies. To start they always say it's an hour to 2 hour wait when it's never been more than 45 mins or less. On one occasion a group of 9 of us went to dine in and waited. We were supposed to be next in line when we noticed multiple parties who arrived after us were being seated. After speaking with the host they informed us they didn't have enough tables to seat us all together. Would have been nice to tell us that before waiting an hour. On another occasion, much smaller party, the waitress dropped several pieces of meat while mixing our garlic rice then ended up boxing it to go for us. Once I got home I noticed I was given someone else's dinner leftovers. Really wish they had been a little more attentive to what they were doing.
Drew Wyman
Even on an 85 degree day ramen is a good call.
I’ve had ramen all over Japan and the US. This is up to par with some of the best.
This is a nice surprise in Oklahoma City. I did not expect such a treat! Just thought I’d be eating steaks.
The chasu in the garlic ramen was damn near perfect.
Patio was great. Interior is dope.
Keys
Spectacular food! Unfortunately the wait times are 2-3 hours and I was informed via phone that they don't take reservations. This restaurant is in a bad part of time, so I don't necessarily want to walk around there for hours.
Jessica
Very crowded at lunch so make a reservation if you are pressed for time.
We ate on the patio. It was a gorgeous day so it was perfect. My only complaint is that the chairs are so heavy and don't have padded feet so everytime someone moved...it made a very loud grating noise.
The food! The limited menu was great. If you don't know what you like, just try something. We had both ramen and appetizers. We took a bit of both home. If the server asks if you want an egg on your ramen, just say yes.
R'amen.
Oh, and the staff was really lovely. Our gal (sorry I forgot her name) seemed both genuine and happy. Not intrusive but perfect and attentive.
Carmen Lao
Went on a Friday afternoon had a 30minute wait but it was worth it!!! It is also done online so you can put yourself on the waiting list and they will contact you and you can keep tabs on it if you want to walk away and check out the area. I had the 4 garlic ramen and added the spice bomb and it was delicious!! Definitely will go back to try the other ones they have!
Zoey K
Vegan Ramen was actually pretty good! And the seasoned edamame were delicious and the truffle mayo mixed with a dash of Sriracha is a fantastic combo.
Xavior McKittrick
I love there Ramen and there Japanese Curry with Karaage, they have a good amount of options with a lot of things you can add on, one thing I would say is there building is small and the restaurant is popular its best to get there early like 5:30 or go there around 7:30. However that doesn't change my 5 star review at all
Brittney Luong
I went with my bestest girl friends here, and it was their first time. The whole staff was incredibly amazing and sweet. Our server, Jenelle, was super helpful and kind. The manger came by personally and asked if we enjoyed everything, and even gave my friends a free edamame appetizer for their next visit!! Everyone was amazing and the food was even better!! Everyone needs to come here! 11/10 would definitely go again. <3
Adam Rackis
Food is great, always. 5 stars.
Ops is a disaster, 1 star. No reservations. First-come, first serve. Wasted over and hour waiting for a table. And of course every other restaurant nearby has reservations, so walking in elsewhere is impossible. Absolutely idiotic and inexcusable.
Kathryn O'Donnell
Get the fried rice! Everything else is also amazing. But that fried rice is something dreams are made of.
Hayley Campbell
Such a fun small restaurant. The atmosphere is great and the food was next level - literally the best fried rice and tofu I've ever had. Didn't have much of a wait because we got there shortly after they opened, but there was a decent line when we left. Eating here made my afternoon and I'll definitely be back for more.
Jason Taylor
Great food and good atmosphere! I had the spicy ramen and also the garlic fried rice. Probably some of the best fried rice I have ever had. The ramen was really good, could have been a little spicier.
Casey Cook
The Tamashii Ramen house provides for an eclectic atmosphere. Prices are in line with other similar restaurants. The menu is available from scanning the QR code at the table. Claimant control was comfortable. However, if you prefer you can eat on the patio. In doors there is bar seating that’s not currently utilized because the need for social. Distancing. Otherwise there are wood tables with your option of both or chairs. I found the appetizers appealing and tasty. The Miso Ramen wasn’t to my liking as it was very dank tasting. However, a friend suggested we try the garlic rice and request the add on of “monster” it is several additional toppings for the rice. Service was quick, and everyone was very friendly
Stephanie Redder
The service was excellent! The staff all say greetings and salutations in Japanese which adds a fun atmosphere.
I ordered the spicy ramen with spicy pork and a sake mimosa.
The spicy ramen had great flavor and wasn’t too spicy. A lot of food to eat by oneself!
The sake Mimosa was really sweet but still I enjoyed it.
The seating seemed well spaced out and clean from what I could tell.
Xela Pierce
LOVE this place!! Whether I’m with friends, family or just by myself, I love coming here for food and drinks. I always get their curry ramen and garlic fried rice kaarage don style. If you’re of age I also recommend getting a sake-tini! So sweet and isn’t enough to get you tipsy but it does make you feel great 🤤 The wait can be extremely long but that just means people are willing to wait for the deliciousness!! I will continue to come here whenever I get a craving for ramen
Kevin Lain
Great Ramen and nice atmosphere. Indoor seating features music and anime projected on the walls and outdoor seating is a great option in the warmer months or if you have a pet. I would recommend eating at the store, doesn't seem to be as much Ramen when ordering to go and it's way better to eat it fresh. You can also buy their merch, I got the xl hoodie for $25, not bad
ia par
Very tasty soups and appetizers. I tried Ramen , it has many flavors in one bowl.
TheVega’s
Solid restaurant. Eaten there several times, tried out their other location in Edmond, but the ambience is just not the same. Downtown location had wait list, but even then, waiter, drinks and food came fast.
Zachary Allegretti
Great ramen and fast service. There can be a long wait on some nights, especially if you want to eat inside.
Kam Kam
Yummy and great service!! Wish they open one at Kansas city.
Domo Aarongato
Wonderful ramen house! We came when there was no wait thankfully so we were sat immediately. The atmosphere inside was nice and relaxed, the air nice and cool (perfect reprieve from the heat!). The ramen was absolutely delicious! I eat a lot so I ordered the extra portion of noodles and meat and I had trouble finishing all of it! So I definitely suggest the extra portion if you like to eat a lot like me! Staff was super friendly too! And the warm green tea really hit the spot!
Renee Scraper
Super yummy and awesome service. Will return.
James Henry
You want the best Ramen you go here hands down the best place for Ramen and side orders. So good I didn't take a picture of my food cause I wanted to eat it quickly. 🙂 …
Tien Truong
Best Japanese ramen I've had. Customer service was great as well. I love the small shack feel of this place.
Leiden Pierce
A lot of food for the price! Also, the chicken in the tonkatsu ramen was unbelievably tasty, super tender. I would recommend asking for extra chicken.
Jeff Carey
Fantastic food. Everyone enjoyed every ramen we tried.
K P
The atmosphere and wait staff was nice. However, I was disappointed that they didn't have traditional Okinawan style Soba noodles.
Juan Alvarado
First time going and we fell in LOVE. Garlic fried rice is to die for. Service was great and super helpful on figuring out what ramen would suit our tastes best. 11 out of 10. They can split the bowls of ramen into 2 small ones and so we ordered 2 different ramens but were able to have each our own bowl and share the ramen!
Cyndal McKendrick-Bates
Very delicious, friendly, and great staff! My kids and I will be going back soon!
Cory P
Tamashii has never once been anything less than an amazing experience for me and my wife. The food is criminally delicious, anyone who disagrees is a sussy baka.
Great staff, great atmosphere, stellar food. Try the garlic fried rice, pot stickers, and any entree they offer - you will be happy, warm, and very full!
Jim Wingler
We went to Tamashii last week. We each ordered the Ramen and it was awesome as usual.
However, when the waiter brought our food out, he asked us if we would like anything from the bar, so we each ordered cocktails as well.
The waiter walked over to the bar and placed our drink order for us. The water then came right back to our table WITHOUT our drinks and now very embarrassed said the bartender already cleaned up the bar and wasn’t serving drinks any longer that evening.
We just thought it was very substandard that the bartender closed the bar before the restaurant closed and did so while customers were still in the restaurant eating their Ramen and waiters were still taking drink orders!
This really distorted our view of Tamashii since there are other Ramen houses in town that wouldn’t dare try and pull off such a rookie move.
We will eat at Tamashii again, but at the same time, we hope that the bar staff would think twice before completing their side-work early over customer experience. Tamashii is better than that!
Ester Kovandova
Excellent service and delicious vegan ramen. Just beware of the queues!
A Google User
Great food and excellent atmosphere! It was busy but service was still friendly and fast.
Johnny Blanco
See that 4.7 score? Disregard that nonsense, this place is a solid 10! Leslie, my server, was awesome. The Tsukemen ramen I had was oh so delicious. I’d say it was more
Delicious because Oklahoma says I’m gonna be 70° yesterday and 25° today,, but hot day, cold day, this food is amazing. And just when you think that’s all I’ve got to say, I say, “but wait, there’s more! A big thank you to Matthew, co-owner with his wife for taking the time to sit and chat with me for a while. Food always taste better when you feel at home.
Lunar Shindler
So delicious everything was great service was kind this was my first time trying ramen and I had the garlic ramen and will certainly will be coming back!
Madison
There was close to an hour wait time but the food and service was so worth the wait! We had a table of three and ordered multiple appetizers, drinks, and entrees. The staff was very attentive, kind, and everything came out quick once we were seated and had ordered. Our waitress, Maddie, was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of! The front host, Ethan, was also super friendly, kept us up to date on where we were in line, and also checked on us throughout our time there. Maddie also prepared all of our to-go containers for us. They were very clean and well put together. Maddie and Ethan should both get a raise for their awesome service!
I had posted pictures of our food and had multiple people ask where we were because it looked so tasty! We really enjoyed our experience and plan to come back soon. Highly recommend!!
Mark Offtermatt
Off the hook. Excellent sake selection. The Ramen dishes are out of this world and the chashudon leftovers are great cold the next day with a beer.
Wait was 45 minutes and I took that to be a good sign. It was.
Cameo Porter
Service is fantastic. All of the food is perfectly flavorful and tender, I feel the chef(s) go the extra mile and genuinely care how their food tastes, not just getting it out there as fast as possible. This is their original location and there isn't my much seating, there will be a wait. I promise it's totally worth it! I'm sure my husband and I will be back again.
Chuck Praxis
I ordered the takoyaki and shoyu ramen. Both were mid-tier. The price was right, though.
Brett D
We had Gyozo, Spicy & Garlic Ramen. All were very authentic Japanese and amazing dishes. The place is in downtown in a cozy nice little place. Recommend getting on the waitlist before arrival. Its well worth any wait time.
Cody sr Thibodeaux
Amazing food and amazing service. Definitely will be back.
andrew mason
Very long wait times. They still have not brought back tables and chairs from 2020 pandemic but they are not requiring masks. Food is good. But not sure if it is worth waiting an hour or two.
Joe Safarik
One of best ramen soup ever and I know ramen. Great place.
george thach
I've dined her a couple times before and it has always been amazing, but today the service was beyond stellar! Our server Mirella was the best! She was very attentive, and amazing!
Bianca
So -1 star because of the leaky pipes. They have anime playing at the bar, a wide array of beer. Awesome prices and a very cozy atmosphere.
Derek Wesley
Amazing food, friendly atmosphere, large variety of options available and great service.
Maycie Quintanilla
The ONLY thing I wish so badly they could change is the building they’re located in. This location is TINY and I feel like therefore contributing to the long wait times you see a lot here. Their other location in Edmond is a lot more spacious and we almost never have a wait time. I don’t mind waiting but the last time we tried getting ramen at the midtown location it was an estimated 1&45. Other than that 10/10 ramen and awesome staff! I enjoy the miso butter corn ramen and will always recommend it to newcomers.
Joseph Shaffer
Ramen. Sake. Anime. Fried rice. Gyoza. The best Japanese experience you can get in Oklahoma 10/10
Brandi Amend
Lovely experience! Great food, great customer service and great Anime! 10/10 recommend.
Araina
Food here is pretty good, but the tiny capacity makes it almost impossible to get a seat, regardless of the day and time. I just tried to come in on a Sunday at 3pm and the wait time was 65 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous since even on a Saturday night, the average wait time at another restaurant would likely not even be 65 minutes. I'd guess that in the last 5 attempts I've tried to eat here, I could only get a seat once or twice. The popularity of the restaurant has completely outgrown the physical capacity and they desperately need to expand their seating area!
james wahab
I’ve been here multiple times, and I am seriously never disappointed. Wait staff is always very nice and efficient with me and my parties, food comes on time and is always fresh. Management is usually in the dining room as well, they don’t hide from customers. 10/10 food and service. One of the best restaurants in Oklahoma City!
Jonathan Colon
Love it!!!! Mireya the waitress was incredible, the food is really good and cool. Thank you guys!!!
Tammy Bryson
The food was very tasty and the staff were both warm and inviting
Jenn Clore
I always leave satisfied. The food is delicious! There has been times where I crave the garlic fried rice.
Scotty Spuds
Had family come in from out of state, and we decided to try a real ramen place. So glad we came here! No wait, friendly staff, and the food was awesome. 10/10 would go again.

COVID took my taste in 2021! Tamashii brought some flavor back in my life! Extremely grateful...found some happy! Thank you Spicy Ramen...thank you Tamashii. Healing mouths one bowl at a time!
Adam T
Amazing food! Great service. Little bit of a wait, but only because it's so popular and we had a party of 6.
Laura Davis
Garlic fried rice spicy ramen 🍜 Karaage chicken 🍗 bomb! (Spicy miso ramen in pic, but love the spicy 🌶 ramen even more 😋 …
Terry Brennan
I really enjoyed the Ramen! I had the 4 different garlic and I had a spice bomb only used half and added an extra egg. It was soooo good! My family had different ones and no one needed a to go box even though these a big portions. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Erin Leonard
Absolutely amazing! The black garlic fried rice was some of the best I've ever had. Our visit started off slow with a seating mix-up, but our server recovered well and was excellent. Lots of great options on the menu. I settled on the fried rice and ramen. Both were delicious. Large portions (lots of leftovers!)
abbyCat dalton
Lovely place, we went on off peak hours, so it was pretty calm. We got our food quickly and the service was great. I had the vegan ramen, which was excellent. The only complain I have is that I wish they had more vegetarian choices. I absolutely loved the vibe and that Hunterxhunter was playing on the projector 👌
Jonathan Wang
Hands down one of the best ramen places I have ever been too. Great value too! It is weird to recommend a ramen place in OKC and yet I highly recommend it
rochelle Skovran
We went to lunch today and everything was so good! We just moved from Japan and have been missing a good bowl of ramen and this place hit the spot! It was busy when we arrived and their system for waiting is so good. We were able to let our kids play outside while we waited and got a text alert when our table was ready. Our waitress was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The noodles had a great texture, the broth was savory, the pork was great and so were the gyoza. Best Ramen we’ve had in a long time. We’ll be going back for sure!
Marcus Johnson
Garlic fried rice was awesome and so was the main dish I chose - the spicy Raman. Service was excellent - all the servers were friendly and welcoming. I really like the atmosphere here. It is warm, perfect lighting, not loud but a nice background of chat and laughter. Good mix of people. Pub-like atmosphere, I would say. I will definitely be going back and hope to grab a spot at the bar next time - this time there was no room.
Mia Byrd
The ramen was incredible. The garlic fried rice was amazing. It was perfect even as take out.
Brien Sims
Great service and fantastic Ramen. The garlic fried rice was a wonderful starter. The bowls are massive so going home hungry shouldn't be a problem. Mochi icecream was tasty too. Try the coffee ones!
Maria Lugo
We absolutely love the Ramen here, and my sons favorite is the Curry. The environment is comfortable and staff was kind- but most importantly the food has never disappointed. We’d give it 15 stars if we could.
Maleah Harrison
My boyfriend and I live an hour and a half apart, every single time I come up to the city we visit Tamashii. It is our 100% go to once a week place. The staff is always friendly, we are always greeted, though we always know our order they are attentive and thorough. Whoever does the training for the waiting positions needs a raise:) I always order regular (or spicy, depending on how I’m feeling.) miso butter corn ramen. Extra eggs. My boyfriend orders garlic fried rice karagee style. The mochi is absolutely delicious. I haven’t found a flavor we don’t like. But coconut, coffee, and green tea are our favorites. We have been there probably 20+ times now and it is thoroughly amazing every single time, we have never been disappointed with a single meal they have made for us. We have tried other ramen places while out of town or state and nothing else compares. The portions in the ramen, the noodles, the eggs the meat, the broth. Perfect. Every. Single. Time.
Jeremy “Jayri Avieock” Hillis
Great place for a quick bite to eat for ramen! Service was nice.
IFEVERIWASIWOULDBESTILL
If only if only I could get a table within an hour I would eat in.... as I never can, I eat in the parking lot because they bring my takeout to me! I drive an hour to sit in my car for this ramen. Yes. It is just that good. I fed my grandma and myself for two meals on 30$. If you can't dine in, ask for napkins and get your grub on in the car, you won't regret it.
Matthew Sedlacek
Really great and fun place. They don't change their menu frequently, but they certainly don't need to. The staff is very welcoming and sweet to everyone, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The food is so great, and the smells coming from the open kitchen make my mouth water blocks away. The Covid precautions they're taking keep the restaurant safe and still allows them to offer good seating. Their list and text system of seating has always been quick, and offers customers a chance to walk around and see the city and neighborhood while they wait.
Anytime I have friends or family visiting, I always try to bring them here, as it's the kind of place I haven't seen elsewhere and might not see the likes of for a while.
Lea Lopez
The takoyaki and the garlic fried rice are always so delicious!! The ramen is delicious and savory! Great place, super friendly staff!
Charles Daniel
This is my favorite ramen place in okc. However the quality of the ramen is inconsistent. Sometimes when I go it’s pretty average or subpar and the noodles aren’t cooked well. One of the advantages over the other ramen place is the appetizers. I will say the karaage isn’t as good as the other place but the chashudon, takoyaki, and rice is amazing here. I feel they have improved a lot in the last couple of years I used to think goro was way better.
Edwhatup
If you love some good ramen and some good alcoholic drinks, then this place is for you. Located in midtown okc and the area is very pleasing
Britt Smith
Outstanding authentic Japanese Ramen!!! The customer service is excellent. The atmosphere is casual, clean, quiet. My granddaughter wanted to try authentic Ramen. She loved it. She had the Tonkotsu Ramen and I had the Spicy Ramen. We shared a plate of Gyoza (pot stickers). I will be recommended this to all my friends. If you are in the area, don't pass up visiting.
Hailey Rexwinkle
The staff were super attentive and friendly; couldn’t have been nicer. Very good food for the price you’re paying, which is already pretty decent compared to other ramen bars. The outdoor seating was very nice also. Will definitely have to come back here again!
Rene' Sanchez
I lived in Japan for 3 years. This reminded us of our favorite restaurant. We loved our first experience at Tamashii.
Easy Wind
Absolutely wonderful Ramen and edamame, we had great service and the food was incredible. We love eating ramen in any state we go to, I never thought the best I would find would be in OKC. If you love ramen this is your place. I highly recommend the garlic ramen, rich, creamy with amazing flavor. The service was awesome, very diligent and attentive. Prices were very affordable, wont break the bank for a lovely meal out. The ambiance was comfortable with low lighting and soothing music. Highly recommend.
Rose Pettiette
Excellent service and exceptional meal. Wanted to give a special shout out to Logan for his assistance and going above and beyond! We are looking forward to our next visit-see you soon!
Lexi
My favorite spot in OKC I usually visit everytime I come. Oklahoma is a food desert & im usually underwhelmed but this place has never disappointed me! Even the vegan ramen is flavorful so you dont feel like you’re missing out on the full experience
Ricky Ramsey
Excellent food with amazing customer service!! You must experience this place when in OKC! Thank you Mandy
Ashley Rogers
The wait is what really killed me. I waited almost an hour for just me to be seated to have lunch. Outside of that the chicken Katsu curry was delicious and the sweet green tea was amazing🥰 The customer service was above and beyond and made my afternoon. I will definitely be going back for sure!! …
Sarah Dockins
After sitting at our table for a while, we started getting frustrated because 2 tables that were sat down after us got their food before we did. We decided to patiently wait and our waiter informed us our ticket was lost but they’re working on it. Hey, it happens and I know all too well how frustrating that is as a server. Besides that, our dine in was very pleasant and the food was delicious.
Risa
Food was very good. I got the curry ramen which was very savory and mild. Husband got the spicy ramen (which made him cry) and he ate the whole bowl! Miraya was our server and was very knowledgeable. Will definitely come here again.
casey wheeler
This was our first time visiting here ourselves. Wait was about 30 minutes, and that was ok. Restaurant was not overfull, well spaced. Service was super and the food was outstanding and spot -on. Our server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful for our first trip eating here. WE WILL BE BACK, Soon and often.
Carmen King
10/10 recommended!!! Food was excellent! Service was excellent!! Ordered the gyoza and tonkotsu ramen. The flavors were outstanding. We even got to try some of the chashudon 😋😋 We will definitely be returning this to location to try more on the menu 😋 …
JoseNoSe
I went the other day with some friends and it was our very first time trying Tamashii’s over Goro. Needless to say we loved the food and had AMAZING service from our server George. He introduced us to many things we normally would not order and made our experience much better. Definitely want to come back and have him as our server each time for sure.
The Word
Phenomenal for the price and location. You have to try the takoyaki and gyoza!! You won't find a better value for your hard earned dollar.
Brianna Russell
This is my favorite ramen restaurant in the metro! I’ve tried their spicy ramen, tonkatsu ramen, curry ramen, and miso butter corn ramen and it’s all delicious. I always get gyoza as an appetizer and if I’m with a larger group I’ll get the karaage as well. It can get a little crowded on the weekends, but it is well worth the wait.
Cheryl Huang
The takoyaki is delicious, better than what we sell in Taiwan.
Alex Schaefer
Genuinely one of the best Japanese places in Oklahoma. Always good in both service and food. Even on a full night my drink never sat empty.
The food is good, the most essential flavors for ramen. Honestly, the appetizers are some of my favorite things here: classic Japanese comfort foods served in solid portions that work for two people. If you're alone the gyudon can serve as a meal in and of itself. The dessert isn't on the menu that I saw, but if you ask they have a couple good options.
Worth every penny regardless of what you order.
Nathan Clark
Up front, we're hooked after this visit! Visited the OKC location for the first time a few days ago, having previously tried the Edmond one. Loved the staff, loved the location. Indoor seating is limited, but there is a large enclosed outdoor patio seating area that seemed comfortable.
Wife had the fried rice, kids had ramen, and I chose the Japanese curry this time. Everything tastes amazing. We have struggled hard to find just decent Japanese cuisine. Everywhere else wants to create something flashy or frilly, but gets the basics wrong. Tamashii gets it all right without making a show out of it - just good food.
We love it. Both locations are great.
Star Gaming
The manager was super nice and the ramen was absolutely amazing! the gyoza was delicious.
Ian Schalo
Quaint, small, cozy atmosphere and some seriously killer ramen! Not too expensive for a meal, and the drinks and desserts are top notch!
Stephanie Bordelon
Amazing food! Loved all of the Japanese Fare and Ramen
