Trestle has the best looking outdoor seating with giant plants, modern style and the best music. It is a perfect spot for brunch, drinks and dinner. It’s one of the best restaurants in Astoria Queens because they know their audience. They have themed froze for different seasons, the NYC metro sound playing in the bathroom and amazing live music like a talented electronic violinist. It’s just a really cool trendy spot. The staff is the best they always make you feel welcome and the drinks are low cost. On top of that they have great specials like Netflix and chill.

I think that everyone has a different experience, and the coconut mojito is very good. I fix it, I ordered a steak & eggs. that for me the steak stole my attention it was super tasty, everything was delicious but my stomach is not that big. Oh last but not least if you are Latin they have good dir is and good music

The menu is a QR code so I couldn't take pictures of it but I'll write what I remember! For brunch: it's bottomless for $20. They have two options for $5 (Mimosa & Bellini) and three or four options for $7 (I forgot what the drinks were for this but I do know there is a red/white sangria option because that was what I got!) So if you do the math, if you get three $7 drinks, it's already enough to get bottomless for brunch! Another thing for bottomless is their sizes are much bigger for the mimosas and Bellinis (shown in pics) where bottomless gets a regular wine glass and the non bottomless gets a champagne flute. We only know this because the server made a mistake and we didn't get bottomless but gave us a bottomless glass by accident..sneaky sneaky! All in all, drinks were delicious. My favorite was the white sangria! Food was just ok. I got the Eggs Benedict and the English muffin was a bit thin and the spinach on top was messy. For me, half the taste is in the presentation so they lost points from me there. One egg was overcooked and the other was perfect. The home fries were great! My friend got the steak and eggs which were cooked and seasoned well. Overall, food wasn't amazing but let's be real, who goes to bottomless brunch for the food? :) Service was quick and flowed well. Not too overbearing but checked in enough that if we needed something, we wouldn't have had to wait for long.

This is not 5-star dining but the experience in combo with menu were 5-star. I came for brunch and I ordered the bottomless drinks, stuffed French toast and eggs. The vibe was calm and nice, yet lively with a dj playing all hits.We had no issue and enjoyed our dining experience and got super drunk! Toast!

Went there for brunch on my birthday a week ago... would definitely go back! Decor: cute Music: lively and fun Food: SOOO GOOD! I've been thinking about those banana walnut pancakes ever since! Also, my friend let me have some of their steak & eggs... steak was cooked perfectly, and the eggs were nice & fluffy. Drinks: Bottomless mimosas for 90 minutes were great 👍🏽 this place also has like 5 different drinks that are included!

Great spot for brunch or afterwork. Bottomless brunch drinks offered for $20 for 90 mins. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were great. The frosé there is one of the best ones I've had. Also, they have a live dj on Saturdays and Sundays for brunch, so the atmosphere was lively and the music and vibes were perfect!!

The Trestle is a hidden gem in Astoria, Queens, NY...a new iconic eatery. The atmosphere was energetic with music & sports (on tv), food was varied & well presented with good selection of drinks too. The Brussels sprouts were good but salty, my salad was a LITTLE heavy on the Balsamic dressing, yet I enjoyed my meal plus wine & cheesecake for dessert. The veggie burger & fried Oreos were also very satisfying (we are a sharing family, what?). Our server, Fiorella was the BEST: friendly, efficient & attentive. The occasion was a graduation celebration, where many of the staff AND diners wished me well...how heartfelt! 😍 The BIGGEST downside is finding parking in that area but with that aside, we'd revisit.

Good food, You have to have the Fried Pickels, it is crunchy goodness. music was soft so you can hear it, but not loud that you have to scream to have a conversation. Service was good, a little slow. Nice to get out in the neighborhood and watch the games. The chicken BLT sandwich was great 👍.

Was looking for a late night restaurant to eat at after watching a movie nearby at Kaufman, and found this place. Had my mind set on the burger before we arrived, but the waitress said the steak sandwich was better, so went with that. Also ordered the Fish tacos and truffle fries cuz we fancy, and washed it down with an Allagash white. They had alot of beers on tap and several large TVs to watch the game. Everything was great and definitely hit the spot! Check it out if you're in the area!

I needed a break from my usual brunch spots and The Trestle did NOT disappoint! Some of the tastiest and best priced brunch dishes in Western Queens, plus the absolute friendliest staff, and some killer coffee (w/ free refills in their soup bowl mugs). No kids menu for brunch but the pancakes were big enough for my 7+9 year old kids to happily split. Can't wait to come back to try out the rest of the brunch menu (as well as their drinks menu - lots of beers on draft, frozen cocktails, and other fun adult beverages). As with any popular brunch spot, get there early to avoid the crowds/wait times.

This was our first time at Trestle. We had a bday dinner. The food was excellent from the shrimp in Cajun sauce to the steak. Loved the truffle fries! The cheesecake was delicious. Attentive service and great atmosphere!

Had a Sunday brunch time reservation here. Huevos rancheros were delicious and you get a good portion for a decent price. Service was fine, waitstaff were attentive. Only taking a star off because the music was crazy loud and it was hard to have a conversation with my party. But it seems like a fun place for a boozy brunch if you’re looking for that kind of vibe.

I came to this restaurant to check it out, … I really didn’t expect the food to be that good! It really surprised me from that kind of more like BAR LOOK… The Onion soup was one of the best I’VE EVER HAD,and the steak was soooo tender and flavorful. Grilled at the perfect point! And the LOADED baked potato… It was DARN good!! With tons of bacon and cheddar. NOT to mention the GOOD PRICE!!! Very Fair! PLEASE KEEP The CHEF you guys had on the weekend!( I was there on a saturday night!) And maybe RAISE his salary! He deserves it!! I will come back for sure! And hopefully the speakers won’t be so loud! AMAZING FOOD! HORRIBLE LOUD MUSIC!

The people here are so family oriented !! My boyfriend has been coming here for years and he wanted to celebrate his birthday here. I called Jackie and she didn't hesitate to ask me what I needed to make his birthday a success. Needless to say, his birthday went on without a hitch, the vibes were on point, the drinks were top notch, the food is always amazing and we introduced a few people to The Trestle that are planning on going back !!! got the calamari for starters was like half of order than what im used to getting but very tasty, the drink was very good, dinner chicken qusedia was good n the chicken pot pie was very good n tasty but not filled enough inside,have good dessert,sat towards the back n we were not checked on much like twice, because the servers stayed up in front near bar most of time, but overall good place for drinks n food

Fantastic Experience. I reserved a table for my birthday today. Table was waiting for me when i arrived. Food was on point, fresh and tasty as it should. Waitress was wonderful, beautiful energy. TOTALLY will return. I will definitely recommend to everybody who plans to eat here to reserve a table ahead of time so you don't have to wait to be seated. It is crazy busy especially on the weekend. So plan accordingly and be on time.

Ceasar said with grilled chicken and shrimp and grits. This place plays great music and good food and vIbes overall. My girlfriend didnt particularly like the shrimp and grits but...more for me :). Had the salad the shrimp and grits, sangria, screw driver and a taste of the mimosa and loved it all for Saturday brunch.

You can't make reservations for groups less than 5 people, so we had to wait a bit. It was pretty packed Saturday noon, but they were able to accommodate us fairly quickly. Our table did the bottomless brunch, but because we were seated outside, we didn't get to refill our drinks as much as we would have liked because the servers didn't go outside too often. Though a glass of Bellini in the bottomless is the same amount as two orders of Bellinis, so it wasn't too bad. Otherwise the food was good, would recommend the French toast, chicken and waffles, and chocolate chip pancakes.

Friendly service and for a busy night they still managed to keep our water cups filled and would always check on how we’re doing. The food and drinks were good! The concrete jungle was delicious and is one of those drinks that creep up on you. Definitely coming back

Food was good, ambiance was good. I don't want to say the service was bad, because it was not overall. But we had a bad experience with a waitress named Jai. She was quite rude, refused to split our bill in 3 cards, and we heard her talking about us to a couple of her own friends who were sitting at the bar. Other than that, I'll definitely return to The Trestle.

This place is super cute, the music is my kind of vibe, the food was pretty good and the bottomless drinks was awesome, I definitely enjoyed myself, be mindful if your doing a bottomless brunch you have a 90 min max at your table. The waitresses were very attentive, tho ours was a bit busy with all the tables she had, another waitress came by to check on us and made sure we were okay and constantly checked if we needed more drinks. I enjoy the fact you can switch up your bottomless drinks with either sangria-white or red, screw drivers etc. The restroom was pretty clean tho I was definitely loosing my mind with the sound of the subway in the restroom playing lol but that was cute and different, below I posted some pictures enjoy !!! Ps: get there early parking is pretty tight.

If you want a nice dinner with a nice environment this is the place to check out. The food was delicious! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the service. For example, when asking for the check we had to ask 3 different employees until we finally got the check. The waitress came around once and took our orders and that was it for the night.

Always heard great things about trestle but have yet to try it until today. I sat at the bar which had really comfortable bar stools, the bartender in a minute was the second person to greet me. I originally decided to come because I saw bacon bbq pork dumplings on google i ended up getting the hangar steak with mashed potatoes, it was great. this is one of the few places that really understood medium and cooked it perfectly. I will definitely be back but next time I hope to see the bbq bacon pork dumplings on the menu, I didn't see it on the bar menu at dinner

Came here for bottomless brunch, the food and drinks were great. The DJ had all the jams playing, one thing because there’s always one thing. Turn the music down a notch…just a little bit. Overall dope experience, I’d come back.

The most amazing staff you can ask for. Everyone is friendly and genuinely nice. I also experienced the best shepherds pie at, The Trestle!!! The atmosphere is always a great vibe. There is always something going on from live music or a really good DJ. I have been there before and I definitely will be going back. If you haven’t tried this place and your passing through Queens, enjoy the experience and thank me later.

The food and service was amazing. I loved the atmosphere. I came on a Saturday evening and it so happened to be the Kentucky derby. I’m glad we weren’t rushed at all despite the flow of traffic coming in and out of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive and very nice. I would definitely go back again. We had the beer muscles, salmon, steak, and as sides we had the truffle fries and asparagus with fried egg.

The hostess in front was super nice. She brought us to our table and gave us water whenever we took a sip! Our waitress Ruth and another waiter helped us with our orders. I asked Ruth for a non alcoholic drink and she recommendeded a raspberry ginger mule. It was delicious! We started with the poppers. Next, I got the salmon with a baked potato while my girlfriend got the shrimp skewers with fries in truffle sauce. For dessert we shared a slice of NY Cheesecake with graham cracker crust. Beautifully presented. The beautiful staff was lovely and fun. The outdoor seating was sweet too. I will definitely come back!

Missed getting into Milkflower one night, walked down the street and popped into Trestle. Did not hang out in the bar (although it looked like a fun place), just came to eat before a movie. Wow, was I impressed with our dinners -- and not graded on a bar food scale either. Damn good period. Chicken pot pie and shepherd's pie were on point, some of the best I've had anywhere. Didn't try anything else on the menu, but I am craving to go back and have that shepards pie again.

My experience at Trestle was AMAZING! From the sweet hostess to our waiter Achilles, everything and everyone was great. Achille made sure that we comfortable and was the best waiter I’ve ever had. The food came out quickly and the drinks were amazing. Try the froze and Astoria Palmer, you won’t regret it! I will definitely be back and I would recommend this place! Everyone wore a mask and social distancing is practiced.

Brunch here is great. It was summer time, they had tables set up outside, where you can enjoy the weather, and get a feel of the neighborhood, which is great. Food was good, prices fair, the mimosas could be better, coffee was great! Definitely a place I would visit again. The staff is accommodating, and the have water for pets at the entrance, as well as treats. Loved it.

Came here for their shepherd pie and /or their chicken pot pie which I saw on Yelp, come to find out they no longer serve them. So yelps pics are outdated! But we did order whatever else was available, Good all American eats. It was alright for what it was. Just not what I was looking forward to i must admit. I felt i can this anywhere really. I used to live in Astoria but moved before this place opened. It was fantastic, the food was beyond good, even the French fries, you could tell they're home made not frozen. Burgers were awesome! Achilles was our server and couldn't have been sweeter, will definitely go back again soon!

Very attentive staffs even it was crowded Sunday Brunch time. Outdoor dinning is very organized and clean as compared to others. Food was decent but could be better. I took out 1 star for just "okay" quality steak. Perfect for group.

~$20 per brunch entree with $20 bottomless option and the food and drinks were WELL worth it. Very clean restaurant and three bathrooms. Service could've been a little better because we had to ask for refills each time but they were always great as soon as we asked. Definitely recommend.

My rating is based on the drinks I had here on a Saturday afternoon. The food looked AMAZING so I'll definitely return one day. I came here to catch up with my brother and he was having a sangria. I ordered the same and, well, three drinks later, I wanted to have another three more. :) The drinks were fantastic and the waiters here were very attentive. Also, this place was hopping! Definitely a fun and casual spot with a full bar inside AND TVs!

Thank you for an amazing brunch experience! The staff was so friendly, hardworking and attentive. They were so good to our kids and did their best to make us feel comfortable. The staff works as a team and it shows. Our waitress Lea was phenomenal and informative. The food was bountiful and the drinks were always refilled. It was nice to be able to park our stroller next to the outdoor seating. The chicken and waffles were delicious! The decor, theme/aesthetic was very cool & fun hearing the train conductor in the bathroom. We will be back!

Due to the heatwave we opted to eat inside which we would not normally do. We felt very comfortable with the spacing of guests at 7:30 on a Thurs. night. Drinks hit the spot and our meals were well prepared and flavorful. Food options were a cut above a regular bar food menu with all the cravables.

My favorite brunch spot in Astoria as it is CONSISTENTLY good, and many options come with a side salad (so I feel healthy)! The ambiance is very cool and has a subtle "Subway" theme, with a really nice staff. Good for brunch and dinner with creative tasty options.

The food is good but the service can be somewhat lacking. My husband and I came here for dinner and we each ordered a drink and food. I had to stop someone to ask for water, and then after I finished my drink no one ever came around to ask me if I wanted another. I would have ordered another but because it was taking too long, I couldn't. Then, we waited over 15 minutes for our check and then another 10 plus minutes for the check to be picked up. We ended up having to hand it over to the bartender to ring us up. I'm not a patient person so this kind of brings down how I feel about the place.

Wanted something different other than a diner and this place was definitely was a welcome change. Servers were attentive. Had brunch which was nothing extra different but what my spouse and I had were well done I had the banana walnut pancake that did not even need an extra syrup, though I was not offered one. My spouse had the steak and egg and it was good. Untraditionally ordered a raspberry mule drink that was well made Will definitely come back to try other dishes they have.

After Bahari Restaurant's Manager couldn't acomodate us bcse 3 of us were 15 minutes late, we decided to go there and they kindly helped us. The food is very fresh although nothing exceptional but the waitress was amazing. We thank them a million and certainly will come back.

Super cute place that they designed to look like the train trestles on the subway. They thought of everything. Even the bathroom even has subway sounds, “Please stand clear of the closing doors. Next stop Broadway.” I had the eggs Benedict and they were pretty delicious with a generous side of potatoes. Someone got the chocolate chip pancakes and they looked amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and even squeezed in our large party at the last minute. I’ll definitely be back. Pro tip- It gets pretty busy even when we walked in first thing at 10am so definitely make a reservation.

I am so upset I did not take pictures of the food. Although when you are experiencing the moment you tend to forget to take pics. So to get to the point, the food was AMAZING, the service was impeccable and they were extremely generous with the drinks. I mean big glasses filled to the rim generous! It is extremely crowded and busy as i went on a Sunday early afternoon for the bottomless Brunch and waited 45 minutes for an indoor table. However it was WORTH IT!!!!

The Trestle Astoria is fantastic. Lia and Jackie were amazing. We have been looking for a Friday bottomless brunch ever since our fave spot closed and this place definitely met all the standards. Our drinks were refilled as soon as they even looked empty, and the staff was attentive and genuine. What more could you ask for? Oh yea, the food was also sooo good. We were so happy to find this hidden gem. Five stars.

Came here for brunch outside with some friends last Saturday, and The Trestle did not disappoint! Achilles was our server and he was awesome all around- great personality and super attentive! The food was delish- two of us got steak and eggs, one got french toast, and another got chicken and waffles, and everyone was very happy with their food, myself included. The outdoor dining area was super cute and well set up. Also mimosas and brunch cocktails were really well priced. We will definitely be returning!

Updated. My partner and I just ordered dinner from Trestle tonight and it was incredibly tasty. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars (right now) is because the orders weren't totally correct- my partner's chicken sandwich didn't hand the add-ons he ordered and my loaded baked potato didn't have any bacon and just a literal touch of sour cream. But these could easily just be COVID struggles with staffing shortages and more people ordering, which is completely understandable. Despite that, we are very happy. It was packed well, warm, and just really well executed. Update: the restaurant reached out to us and offered to resend the food and send genuinely concerned we weren't 100% satisfied. We planned on eating there or ordering again, but now we will, 100.

Love the way they took over the outdoor space and actually put some thought and money into it. Bland Mac and cheese but their beef and broccoli have no right being that delicious. Service and the menu app were good. Would be great if the app was a little better lay out and could be more legible. Not our server but would be nice to have all servers in a little better clothing/uniformed, some looked like they just rolled out of bed with the first thing from the pile so was confusing if it was a worker or someone off the street.

This is a warm weather review from Autumn so take it with a grain of salt. A few of my friends lived in Astoria and suggested this place as their "go-to" spot for brunch. I really liked it! Trestle is fortunate enough to have a lot of sidewalk real estate for outdoor dining which given the times is a major asset. Their food was great. They had the full range of brunch food options including some chicken and waffles that were as tasty as they were instagrammable! They of course had mimosas, bellini's etc. which they had in portable plastice cups (;-) The bottomless brunch is $20 for 90 mins. In general it's a solid, can't-miss spot for brunch. My only gripes were that I felt attention to our table dropped after we received our plates. We made some small requests that weren't resolved for a little while. It was a warm busy day so some delays were to be expected. Take the whole situation in and decide for yourself. I'm still recommending the place. If you're in the area, stop by!

The food was perfectly cooked. Absolutely no seasonings though and the most bland, perfectly cooked food I've ever ordered. Was conflicted on stars for this, as I would never again order food here, but the atmosphere was great and the drink menu was decent; perfectly cooked food is no laughing matter, so 4 stars-- just no flavor. Edit: Chicken Quesadilla, juicy but lacking any zing and my wife had the broccoli beef. Beef was tender and broccoli was perfectly cooked; sauce tasted like cornmeal with zero asian influence or taste. Everything was well prepared.

To start the experience entering is great. I came to trestle around Easter with a party of 9 and we were seated right away. The Waitresses greet you with warm welcome and a bright smile. What caught my eye was the design, overall the look was so appealing to me I wanted to stay longer and just chat with my family and friends. There was this one guy and to be honest he deserves a raise, he was so friendly, very cool, professional and even when the drinks came a bit later than expected. He cracked a joke or made the time we waited feel like it was worth it. I don't remember his name but he looks like a cool surfer dude and I remember he mentioned he had a son. Now onto the best part. The food, I had gotten the steak and eggs and it's was okay. I felt like the steak could have been seasoned with something more, it was missing something. Though the seasoning was a bit off the steak was a good steak. I order medium but they gave me medium-well and I still ate it because it was really really good juicy and texture wise! I tried some of my families food that they had like the huevos rancheros, and a English muffin sandwich and they were amazing the flavors were on the point and it kinda made me wish I choose something else but I still enjoyed my food. Now onto there bottomless brunch drinks, there's only 2 reasons I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars. The reason being we paid 20 dollars for bottomless brunch but we all had a similar feeling that by our 3rd or 4th drink it's tasted watered down as if there wasn't any liquor at all. My family and I were spending a birthday together and we love to drink when we can. I felt like that kinda ruined the mood a bit but we ended up just going to a brewery right after instead. Another reason was the steak, I'm a big steak person and even though the texture and juicy was on the spot, I need the 3rd factor which is taste. It tasted like my grandmother made liver with no seasoning and I hate liver. I would have given 5 stars but the steak and the drinks are big things for me. Overall the experience was amazing, the service AMAZING, shout out to cool surfer dude! I would definitely reccomend for a small get together or even just as a date, or just to stop by alone and have a good brunch. 100% would come here again. Thanks The Trestle for a great experience!

I love this restaurant, it is my Friday night to go place. I am obsessed with their kale salad, it is huuuuuuge, and so yummy! I crave it! Plus staff is very friendly, especially the manager Jackie and the bartenders. The place has the coolest bathroom ever, where you do think you are inside of the N train. Dimmed lights makes it good for a romantic occasion, yet big seating on the back offer space for big groups as well. Outside seating is super nice for summer time. The brunch menu is also cool! The crowd is mixed every time, just like Astoria. I have to start trying new dishes!

Excellent service! The waitstaff were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and funny. Coupled with the awesome food, I will be returning for another dining experience at The Trestle. My party of three ordered the Pig Wings, Opened Face Chicken BLT, Chicken & Waffles, and the Cast Iron Chicken Pot Pie. The chicken pot pie was so satisfying with its flaky puff pastry on top and generous filling underneath. The dish totally lived up to the great reviews and expectation. I enjoyed every part of my meal from the appetizer to my large cup of cappuccino! And the environment is casual, comfortable, and uniquely NYC with its subway decor.

All too often one has to make a choice between going to a Great Bar or Lounge and a Great Place to eat well. Well, TRESTLE offers the opportunity to eat and drink well in a stylish comfortable environment while patronizing a very well run family owned establishment which is truly part of the fabric of the Astoria community. It is a place with many regulars as well as newbies who descend on this establishment by word of mouth. And here is the thing, neither the food, drink or service ever disappoint. It is eminently clear that their Kitchen and Wait Staff take pride in satisfying their customers. Hence, why folks return. Trestle is not a place that you will go to only once. It is suitable as a place to meet friends, family or to go on a date. Do not go to Trestle unless you do not want to eat and drink well and have fun.

During this pandemic, I am glad that you all are open. I had to wait awhile and it wasn't clear where to go for pickup orders, but the five stars is primarily for the quality of the food. My fiancé and I ordered wings, salad (which was perfectly according to our requests; darn food allergies :/) and two frosés to celebrate our engagement. The food was excellent and we are perfectly tipsy over the frosés right now. You are definitely the place to go to for drinks and light food late at night. Will come back for the frosés. Be safe.

Visited this spot for the third time and it has yet to fail me. The menu has changed a bit since last summer but I enjoy ordering a variety of appetizers and the main course always hits the spot. Our waiter had an amazing attitude and was always ready to refill or take requests. I would recommend the frosé with the shrimp skewers. Friends and I shared the smore plate, which happens to be a self prepare plate with it's own flame to melt the marshmallows. Great time as always!

And the portions are huge. The Bloody Mary is freshly made and although you don't taste the alcohol it's delicious. The addition in of the bacon and olive is a nice touch. Huevos Rancheros is flavorful with lots of ingredients with chili, grilled potato, nachos, guacamole, sour cream, tomatoes, onions, peppers and eggs. We had the eggs over easy and highly recommend it. The frittata is huge. Lots of eggs. Very fluffy and filling. I ordered mine with tomatoes, spinach, mushroom and goat cheese. Loved it. Definitely a place we'd return to. The owners know how to run a business

Came here with a friend earlier in the Spring but really enjoyed it. What caught my attention here was the name, I had to look up what a Trestle was. Wasn't disappointed to see that the interior setup of the restaurant was in theme with well...a trestle. Guess you'll have to look it up too :p Anyways, the food was pretty damn good and the service was even better. If I remembered the waiter's name I'd let yah know but besides the point. The steak I got was pretty on point for a good price point. Medium rare is the only way to go. Try it out.
