BKLYN NYC

Really delicious food served by an incredibly professional staff and a classic looking space. Went in with a party of five. The waiter was incredible. His name was Jonathan did a really great job taking care of us. The steaks, especially the porterhouse for two were absolutely of the highest quality. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The oysters are great. The drinks were delicious as well. We enjoyed our desserts as well as coffee. Will definitely be back money well spent.

Posting on my daughters account cause I don’t have google. You ever have a night out, dinner and drinks that prove nothing short then unbelievable? I’m retiring from the Army and had my birthday dinner at Chadwick’s. Started off with dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives, jumbo shrimp cocktail and baked clams. We then went on to the wedge salad and ceaser salad. Followed by a Filet and pork chop. Both of which I’ve never had better. We finished with an amazing key lime pie and waffle with vanilla ice cream. Of course other drinks were had but an Irish coffee to end the night was the finishing touch. I believe our waiters name was Brian. He was top tier and has been working there for over 20 years. Which I learned is a common thing at this establishment, everyone you speak to has been there for over two decades. You wouldn’t know but the owner walks around, grabs dishes, checks people in, he is everywhere. This will go down as the best evening I’ve ever had.

Never disappoints! Such a memorable Valentine's Day dinner! Wonderful staff and service! The owner visited each table to make certain everyone was having a good time! Have been there often and will continue to frequent this Bay Ridge landmark.

The food came out quick. I ordered the mussels which were good it was a little spicy but the bread with the sauce was nice. I also ordered the steak for 2, it came out a little more red but it was delicious.The server was very nice. A little pricey

My daughter had a harrowing trip home for Christmas and trying to make it back to NY, 40+ hours out of 72 traveling -- cancelled flights with missed connections and had to cancel her bank cards due to fraud. I called from CA to make sure she had a meal when she finally got back and Chadwick's worked with me to make sure she had a wonderful dinner. I can't say how much we appreciated a simple act of accommodation from the staff when I'm sure they were extremely busy. My daughter said the meal was wonderful! Thanks Chadwick's and a special call out to Randy!

Went for the 1st time on my anniversary, and so glad we did! Great service & food!! We got the crab cakes (so yummy & loved the slaw), the seafood special pasta dish (10/10), and the duck (blueberry demi glaze yum).. as well as the chocolate lava cake & cheescake-both fresh, rich, & delicious!

Looked it up online, seemed to have a fairly even set of options and my friend wanted some sea food. (I was open!) We had a wonderful greeting from Roy who was the bartender and he was gracious and took our order for food and drinks. The food was delicious and as you can see from the photos the portions were reasonable. The NB fried calamari and fried zucchini is an appetizer and I couldn't finish it even with help. My friend had the lobster salad. The drinks, a whiskey sours and a mojito were also pretty good. I'd definitely go back so you should definitely check it out.

Greay service first of all very courteous, then the food, the steak was very savory, i didnt even need any sauce, and that bacon jam! Bacon jam,where has this been all my life! Def try it here, and the grilled eggplant skewers omg it is perfect,perfectly cooked,juicy and not over cooked paired with mozzarella mmmm oh and their marina dip for the bread! Great job this place!!

Definitely seems like a great place to come. Started off with the grilled octopus for the appetizer which was delicious. And I got the venison special that day which was also amazing! Only complaint was after we finished our dinner, we had to wait 20 minutes for our server to even check on us and offer us the dessert menu. That was really annoying, and my parents were also wondering what was taking so long. If they picked up the pace a bit, then I would give them 5 stars.

Where do I begin? The staff was amazing. Friendly,accommodating, couldn't do enough for us. It seems that lately, every bartender in the world has forgotten how to make a classic Old Fashioned. Not here! The bartender made the best Old Fashioned I've had EVER! He hit the mixture right on the head. Kudos to that guy! The appetizers(Fried Calamari, BBQ Octopus) were excellent. For entree, I had the T-Bone Steak. Cooked to perfection. The best damn steak I've had in years!! I cannot wait to go back. You MUST go to Chadwick's. If you've never been, you haven't actually eaten a steak. This place is Steak Heaven. So to sum up. From the wait staff to the check, a most enjoyable experience that I can't recommend highly enough.

Chadwick's is an excellent place to take someone for dinner in the neighborhood. It is an upscale looking place with standard American fare. This is not the place to go if you prefer a loud and trendy restaurant. On the contrary, this place is subdued and subtle. The wait staff is knowledgeable and has not expertise of the menu. This place is great for dates and more formal family dinners.

The rib steak was grilled to perfection, topped w/a nice serving of homemade battered fried onions, home fries, & garlic spinach topped w/carmelized onions. & I have to mention the rack of lamb served w/the garlic spinach & crusted potatoes was a 5 star dish. Another star dish, was the salmon. I was to busy enjoying every bite of my rib steak to pay to much attention to the salmon. But, the 2 family members that ordered it said they were very pleased. The complimentary warm bread & roasted peppers spread is OMG, the best thing next to ... I should have been embarrassed how I devoured it. Lol. We had a great meal & a great time.

After a long break between visits I recently decided to stop by Chadwick’s for dinner. Although it was a busy night several of the employees came over to welcome me and I was seated immediately. In a departure from my usual pork chop order I elected to order the Osso Bucco. This is a dish I usually order at an Italian restaurant. Much to my surprise, it stands as one of the top three I have ever had worldwide. The meat melted off the bone and both the reduction and the mushroom risotto were equally prepared to perfection. Looking forward to my next visit!

Old school Brooklyn steak house. Great service and good food. Porterhouse for two is the way to go. Just my opinion, but they tend to cook the steak to the next level asked. First time asked for medium rare and got medium so next time asked for rare and got medium rare. Not a complaint, they just may cook to a slightly different temp than other steak houses. Staff are friendly and prices are good.

This place is a Brooklyn institution! My family has been coming here for years for dinner, celebrations, graduations, and mercy meals. It has a cool neighborhood-vibe bar attached to an approachable white table cloth restaurant. A true American cuisine spot with amazing dishes and professional servers. The menu is pretty refined, so basically everything is fantastic. I'd recommend the burrata, steaks, or if you like fish, the branzino is off the charts (juicy with a super crispy skin that tastes better than bacon.)

Absolutely excellent! My family and I went here to celebrate a retirement. The service and the food was great! And I really must emphasize the overall hospitality - I called many times prior to our reservation date with a lot of questions and a few requests and the host was always exceptionally kind and helpful. It was no surprise to find all of the staff this way once we arrived. 100% would recommend!

Very... Very crowded the service was friendly and alert someone came to take to fill our glasses with water also handle the drink's!!!! Food was cooked to order that specialty with steak and then done it very well...... The only problem I had was the men's bathroom OMG needs attention Rusty nuts and bolts on urinal walls were dirty a big turn off.....

We were greeted by the owner who was very nice. We were seated right away. Patrick, our server was wonderful. He told us about all of these specials and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The wines were 25% off because it was Wednesday. We don't drink wine. We ordered beer. The dinner came with appetizer or soup. We chose ravioli which was very good. My orange roughy stuffed with crab was tasty. My mashed potato was amazing. My boyfriend ordered the pot roast. He said it was the best he ever ate and so was the homemade apple sauce. Our rice pudding tasted homemade and was excellent as well. So happy we stopped in.

I usually love this place found the steak that I paid $70 for was very fatty and over cooked. Prices went way up Again I understand with the Corona they need to make it up . Felt safe and service was great. Just a bad steak it happens I'll be back.

What a lovely experience! The branzino skin was perfectly crisp. The nage and cauliflower puree were seasoned just right without being too heavy or overpowering and the fresh green beans didn't stay on my plate long. The staff was attentive and friendly. I was lucky to have a conversation with the owner, Jerry, who just exudes warmth. I will return and have dessert next time.

We shared the fried calamari & zucchini (Best!) followed by beef wellington for me and fettuccine with spicy crab sauce for my husband. Dessert was yummy - apple tart & cappuccinos. Thanks again Joe! They get 3 stars due to great service at the bar by bartender. Would be 1 star due to poor service in dining area and steaks not being dry aged, when we clearly ordered 3 steaks dry aged from menu. When someone orders a bottle of wine at a restaurant, you need to serve the wine at their table and not just bring the filled glasses to the table; its common practice.

Usually the food is very good but the service can be hit or miss. Sometimes getting a waiter just to take your drink order takes longer than it should. We’ve had great service with a friendly, prompt waiter. But sometimes we get a surly, inattentive waiter that ruins the mood.

I had a nearly flawless experience at Chadwicks. It had been recommended to me by several folks and I finally tried it, and will certainly return. 9PM and got seated for two immediately, and was given a choice between two tables. It was very clean and well lit (although not overly bright), quiet, and smelled delicious. The tables are not as close together as many places, it feels spacious and comfortable. I had lobster bisque, an iceberg and gorgonzola salad, and a medium rare filet mignon. The steak was served with grilled asparagus and whipped potatoes, with a yummy bacon tomato jam. Everything was fantastic, I have zero complaints about the food. In fact I over ate a little, because it was so good I couldn't help myself. The service was also exemplary. Our server was friendly and polite, knew all the specials in great detail, and frequently checked in with us to make sure everything was good. It was also very quick...we sat down at 9PM and were ready to leave shortly after 10. I'm looking forward to going back for more. Definitely one of the best places I've been to in Bay Ridge. Highly recommend Chadwicks.

Old school spot. Love that waiters here are seasoned. Only place I know that makes a real martini. I have been coming here for steak for years but other food is amazing as well. There are not many places like that - very old, Italian, classic Brooklyn. Must visit.

We called at the last minute and they had 2 parties going on but they still managed to seat us. Everything from the huge oysters to the T-Bone with a lobster tail was outstanding. The service is top shelf, highly reccomend this establishment.

A Bay Ridge institution for decades, this wonderful restaurant has a great selection of meats and seafood to satisfy even large parties. We came here to celebrate my uncle's 70th birthday and left well-satisfied by the evening. It got a bit loud in the dining room, so much so that we didnt even hear the live music being played in the other room! Our waiters took great care of everything and many of us went home with at least half the entree portions still intact. The only negative was that our 5pm reservation wasn't seated till 5:30pm. Would be happy to come back here again.

Spent a wonderful afternoon at Chadwick's with some friends. The food was amazing! The calamari was delicious. And my youngest, who very rarely eats meat, couldn't have enough of the porterhouse. They had a red snapper special that was to die for. But the best part was how all the staff made us feel, even though it was our first time it felt like we were their best long time customers. The best of what Bay Ridge had to offer. Everything from the food to service is second to none. They have a nice bar and a great menu. Try the beef Wellington, it's a Saturday special, completely amazing. Best of all the price is right, great for date night.

The filet-mignon is superb! I enjoy mine well-done but not 'dry' inside or out and Chadwick's has 'perfected the art' of preparing this so that it is consistently, simply excellent! Their food can rival any top-shelf Manhattan restaurant. It is tastefully delicious with great presentation too. The ambiance is comfortable; wait staff is very attentive and professional; it is a most enjoyable dining experience - complimented by a full bar of choice, quality libations! We've been customers for years - even hosted special occasion events and parties here; also an excellent venue and value! In sum, it is worth the trip to enjoy fine dining at Chadwick's! Enjoy!!!

This classy dinner restaurant caters to an older Brooklyn crowd. The service is fantastic and really makes the meal worth the price. If they ever have the bison special-- get it. By far some of the best steak I've ever eaten and the sides are to die for as well.

The food and decor is very good. but the service is not good. Stay away from the the guys who will park your car. They will abuse your car all most any way they can. I went to go eat there once and the guy said that my car had gotten smashed by a tree. THEY PARKED MY CAR UNDER A TREE THAT WAS ABOUT TO FALL OVER ANY MINUTE! Otherwise this place is very good.

Enjoyed our dinner beginning with appetizers crab cakes, grilled octopus, Mediterranean salad. The house Pinot Noir was surprisingly good. Ribeye was tender but the requested medium was actually medium rare and slightly overseared, hence a 4 star. Good service.

This is the Classic NY Upscale Local Corner Resturant with incredible Food, Drinks and Ambience! First the Service was fantastic and by the way they have valet parking! Layout two Resturant rooms and a long very cool Bar where you could Imagine Sinatra or Bogart to walk in!. The Place oozes with FUN. We ate soooo MUCH... and everything was excellent. From the Apps to the Main Dishes...Grilled Octopus to Lobster Salad and Ossobuco, File Mignon, Salmon, Pasta, to Charred Bone in Ribeye with Tasty Salads and Sides... it was EXCELLENT! This is a must try when in Brooklyn's Bay Ridge area !

I love Chadwicks! Been going here since the 1990s. It was great going again. The lion chop left me speechless and the mushroom risotto was spectacular. It's what I love about Chadwicks. I've been to Chadwick's several times. Great food, excellent service and reasonably priced for a steak house. The only thing that I would recommend is that you get there early, it gets pretty crowded and like any crowded restaurant it gets loud. The lunch menu is awesome.

Okay it may not be Peter Luger but Chadwicks knows how to make great steaks in an intimate a large restaurant in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Yes steaks are expensive but they're expensive in any fine Steakhouse. You are not going to find this type of quality within 2 miles of this place. Yes some Waiters maybe better than others but given the differences the steak flavor and all are almost orgasmic when you bite into it and and let your teeth and tongue savor how steak should taste. There are vegetable and fish options available. Chadwicks is for steak

Buttery porterhouse, and they are the only place that cut the strip side of the porterhouse thinner as they know it is a tougher meat than the filet mignon side. The price is decent too, $30 cheaper than Peter Lugers. Alas, I do miss that Peter Luger as they cooked the porterhouse a little too much here even though I asked for medium rare.

The food was excellent *****! My wife and I seriously enjoyed the spicy mussels (out of this world) and baked clams. As for the 10oz Filet Mignon, I had to listen to my wife rather than talk until I finished licking my lips. Lucky her. Other than the room being too noisy from everyone talking; overall, I'm glad I chose Chadwicks to celebrate my birthday with a delicious dinner.
