Delicious tacos and consomé! It warmed us up during a cold February afternoon. It was worth the trip and the price is great. The only con was that they had no stand to eat our tacos. We had to walk around the neighborhood to find a bench.

Its a bit of a wait but definitely worth it! It was really cold on the day we bought it so we had to bring it elsewhere before eating- I could definitely imagine how good it would’ve been if we got it kore fresh though! Even though we weren’t able to eat it fresh, it was still delicious and some of the best tacos over ever had. Would definitely recommend and try again!!

Got word on this food truck pop up in Queens. So had to dig in. Planted to try different protein but they only had beef. As you can see I went all in. I am of Latin heritage so tacos are a big thing for me. These were tasty with a bit of spice. The lemon added some citrus to add some dimension to the food. Now the whole birra thing is alright. I prefer plain corn tortilla and and the fillings. Now this spot had a line of Latinos waiting for their orders so something is good about it. Defo will do again.

Sooo I've always wondered if this place was over hyped- but Yea no it isn't. Do yourself a favor and come get some bomb Birra Tacos! I only got 2 birria tacos without consomé...it didn't even need it. Now I'm sure it adds more flavor & succulance but the beef itself is so juicy. So there's a table where you make you're order & pay. Then just wait for your number to be called. After that just eat & enjoy

I've heard so many positive reviews about this birria truck that I figured I needed to try it for myself. They weren't wrong. The meat was very juicy and flavorful and the tortilla was soft but slightly crispy; it's perfect if you can't decide between soft and crunchy, like me. I couldn't get enough of the consome. The broth was perfectly rich and flavorful. Despite what you may have heard, the wait actually wasn't too long. I arrived around 5:30, shortly after they opened and there was no line to order. There were 7 people ahead of me already waiting for their food and the wait was about 20 minutes. Not too bad.

Best Birria I’ve ever had. Service is quick, this location is extremely popular but the line moves quickly. Food is always consistently good. I recommend you try all the items on the menu. The consomé is a must, definitely get the large.

My girlfriend and I love trying new things, and one of our favorite ways to do so is eating. We've tried many taco spots but none compares to Birria-Landia tacos. We started with 3 each but nowadays we get 5 per person. That's how good it is and the hype is real. We even do casual date nights with Birria-Landia tacos.

Omfg I can't get enough of these tacos. Everything on the menu is great. Get on line to order, pay, and get a numbered ticket. Wait for your number to be called and head to the pickup window. The lines move quickly, maybe 2 orders completed per minute. Tacos $3 each. 10/10 Eat it with the consome, lemon, and red onion Mulita $4. 10/10 Just like a quesadilla Consome $4/$6 10/10 Beef and seasonings in soup base Dip all the food in here Tostada $3. 9/10 Crispy flat tortilla with meat and toppings Yes this is a truck but it is high quality food at taco truck prices.

This place is wildly overhyped. I tried it because I saw this place on a TV show. It has that as seen on TV feel. There was a long line when I got there which shows you how much hype this place has. I ordered the tacos and their consommé. The tacos are pretty good with a decent amount of meat. The tacos were flavorful by themselves but unfortunately when combined with the consommé they fell flat. The consommé has a distinct Wendy's chili taste. I gotta say I was a little disappointed. It was an ok experience overall but I anticipated something a little more special. Probably won't come back.

We were looking for some good birria and decided to come out to the infamous truck. I was a little worried about it taking a while to get our food, but there was only 3-4 people in line and we ended up getting our food within 5-10 mins! The mulita is the best imo, it has a nice crunch to it and two types of cheese. The consome is pretty good, but not necessarily required imo, but the sauce they give on the side is fantastic. *Note the guac is not from the truck!

Believe the hype! This place is amazing, simple as that. If you're in the area you need to get something from here. If you're not in the area, get to the area. I had a couple of tacos, a quesadillas and the consommé and all were spot on.

“Best Birria in New York” is what I always hear about this place. However, the queso Birria tacos they have on the west coast are just hard to beat. I think if these had cheese, it would be 5 stars. Honestly, the consume is what takes this place over the top. Consume was a good 5 star plus bonus points.

Birria Landia is one of the best birria taco I've had so far hands down. The flavor all around is so yummy. There's five tacos for $20 which is really cheap. You have to order and eat it asap. The also have tons of drink options. There's usually a very long line so I'd you're really hungry, you better go early. Also there's a QR code so you can see the menu on your phone. Overall I definitely recommend this if this is your first time trying birria tacos

I think they're in the running for the best tacos I've ever had. The conson (butchered the spelling & pronunciation). The soup/stew you dip it in, is honestly super delicious on its own. I downed that by itself after finishing the tacos.

I am deviant who was fully convinced that I did NOT like tacos or Mexican food. But wow this food truck absolutely changed my mind and opene my eyes. The flavors of the birria is just mind-blowing good and the meat is oh so tender! The shells itself is so flavorful with a beautiful texture that actually holds all the contents in place. Lines used to wrap around the block but thankfully now it's super quick!

Best taco place hands down!! Everything is so amazing! I did this every couple months I’ll drive out there to get some. Parking sucks but there’s also paid parking and street parking if you get lucky! They are so fast and friendly! Definitely recommend.

Delicious birria tacos, that are not easy to find in NYC. Nice staff. And you're able to call ahead. I'm updating my review.. Food is still phenomenal.. lately, my issue is with the container the consomme comes in.. it might as well be made out of construction paper... It literally falls apart before I can even get it home... I went tonight and half of one of the containers of consomme dripped through the paper bag into the plastic bag... Very disappointing considering how long you have to wait. With the popularity I would think they'd invest in a container that is not only environmentally friendly but could also stand up to hot consomme... Well, after 6 months I revisited .... And I'm very disappointed to say that the packaging is still horrible... Maybe worse than before, consomme was leaking all over the bag, again!! The small container of hot sauce also leaked.. just an greasy wet mess... I just don't get it.. from the truck to my house was 5 minutes... I even purposely brought a special bag so my order would lay flat without any issues.. so I thought.. I just give up! It's obvious they don't give a ...... I have no idea what to do except bring my own containers????? The food is still excellent, that will never be a complaint... But having my food seep through the containers and end up all over the paper and plastic bag is extremely annoying.

On a cold day still drew an impressive crowd. Still, they were efficient and from the time I got on line to the time I started waking with my food, it was about half an hour. My only regret was not ordering more. The flavors of the spicy braised beef were flawless

Truck is on Roosevelt street, below the train. Opens at 5:30PM ( PM as in evening). Takes cards, cash, & apple pay. Nowhere to sit, you will need to go somewhere else to eat. When you arrive, they will take your order, you get a ticket with a number, and you just wait for your number to be called. I got there at 5:15ish on a Wednesday and the line wasn't bad at all. Only waited 20 mins and left with my food. Very affordable as well! I paid about $12 for a quesadilla de birria, consome, and a jarrito. The consome is separate, so if you order birria tacos, quesadillas, etc, you will need to order the consome separately, and consome comes in 2 sizes. The staff was extremely friendly and they work super fast and very organized to make sure that the orders are completed properly and given to people asap. Very clean as well. The food is absolutely amazing!! I give it 11 out of 10!! I'll definitely be back before I leave NYC, and when I return this fall, I'm bringing my family as well. We got really lucky, the line was decent when we got there due to the rain but by the time we were leaving it was all the way down the block. That taco shell is both hard and soft at the same time, it’s the most amazing thing. It’s such a delicious and simple taco. Is it worth the wait? Definitely if you’re trying Birria styled tacos for the first time. Would I go again? Probably not because the drive and the wait is just too much for someone who lives out in LI.

Waited in line for at least an hour on a freezing winter night. But the food was worth it :) Consommé + taco combo is a must. The broth works great as a dip for the tacos but also as an amazing soup to drink it’s own. The flavor is rich and the meat is tender. Also, don’t forget to add the pickled onions that come with the tacos! It was delicious but I only wish I got to eat it with my taco...

The perfect cold snow day meal! My friend and I have been wanting to come here for the longest, ever since they gained popularity on Inside and the New York Times. At first I was a little skeptical, because I had tried Birria tacos from another location, and the meat tasted overcooked. For those of you who don’t know what Birria is, it is a dish that originally from Jalisco, Mexico; a meat stew (made from beef, goat, or mutton) that is served on celebratory occasions (weddings, baptisms, Christmas). In this case, they are around all year round. Came here last night and ordered a total of 9 Birria tacos and 2 small cups of their consommé (the broth that the meat was simmered in). We ate these a few steps away from the truck and away from everyone else, because we just couldn’t wait. There was no line to order and we only waited 15 minutes for our food. The tacos were amazing. The meat was so tender and not overcooked (I was so fascinated because I am pretty sure the meat was simmered for HOURS). Best part: no tough tire texture like you would taste in overcooked beef. The broth was rich and definitely kept my insides warm and cozy as I was eating these tacos in 30 degrees (Fahrenheit) temperature. There was a slight kick to the broth, but not overwhelming which I enjoyed. The broth was not as thick so it was easy to swallow. I would definitely come back here again for their tacos. Tip: Highly recommend getting these in the winter, as the lines go around the block during the summer. Also their price point is not bad at all: $3 tacos, $4 for small consommé (definitely budget friendly)

If you want good tacos this is the spot. Just know you might need to wait a bit because lots of people do come through. They do have 2 food trucks one in Queens and the other is in Brooklyn. So if you live on Long Island it will be somewhat of a drive. It's worth it 🤗 …

Was visiting from Florida and decided to try their Birria tacos. The birria was good but the customer service was lacking. It was my first time going there and the short guy at the front taking the order was rude. As I went to the front he immediately told me I had to be know what I wanted already as they take my order. Gave me no time to read the menu at all. As mentioned it was my first time there so I wasn’t sure what else they had. The birria was good as I’ve tried them in California also. But the customer service is lacking and should be improved. Would be a 5 star review if it weren’t for the employees customer service.

Had to try after hearing about this. Got there and almost left because the line was the length of the whole block, but it moved quickly enough. About 40 minutes total wait (including ordering and receiving food). Food was very good. The consome is like comfort food. Would like to try the taco dunk with some melted cheese on the tacos though.

Dipping tacos are so addictive. But before Birria arrived on the scene, the concept was very foreign to me. This food truck is the original flagship location in Queens. They have other locations due to their popularity but this is the place that I usually visit. I generally try to visit later at night which means less wait and better parking situation (which is always hit or miss in NY). One of my friends would always order from here previously and she would post photos that made me salivate. But the lines had me deterred for a while so I stayed away for a long time. Even though there is usually a line of people waiting, they have the ordering and prep down to a science. The lines move pretty quick and they call your number when it is ready. ** If paying by credit card, their is a fee that is charged so cash is king. For an individual, I would recommend at least 4 tacos (maybe 6-8 if your are hungry) and one small consome. The mulita and tostada are a nice alternative but you will definitely want a few tacos. These tacos are so good that my stomach is rumbling as a write this review thinking of my most recent visit. The truck may be in a different location so you would have to ride around to find it or look for lines of people. If possible, bring a friend so at least one person can wait by the car in case you have to settle for a spot that is technically not for parking. But if going solo and if you do not live near near the area, then usually you can find some parking on the residential side streets but you may have to park way up the street. But once you get those tacos in hand and take a bite you will know it was worth it.

Birria-Landia is definitely one of the most popular and legendary food trucks in NYC. They served Taco in Tijuana style with limited 4 items on the menu and the food was well-known, delicious & authentic. Therefore, there is always a super long line by the truck on the street and the wait was about 1-2 hours on average. Firstly, you need to wait in line to place your order and get your order number sheet. The staff would call by the number on your sheet. We were there at around 5:30pm on a Sunday and the line was around the corner of 77th street. It took us about 40 minutes to receive our food, better than the average. We highly recommend to arrive as early as possible to save your time. Regarding the most important part, the food, it was good but not worth the wait. We had all 4 options and our favorite was the Tostadas, which was crunchy and perfect with the Consome. To be honest, we were not crazy about Taco, so our opinions may not be the best reference.

First time hearing about this place was through social media it was everywhere so we decided to go visit. Because of the hype waiting on the line to order the food and waiting to get our food took exactly 1 hour and 40min (yes I timed it) We ordered everything on the menu. We got 8 tacos, 2 soups, 1 tostada and 1 mulita. We ate some tacos at our car just so we know how good it is when made fresh and wow!!!! After that one bite of taco dipped with the soup this place literally jumped to becoming my favorite taco spot. Omg the taco was crunchy and soft so flavorful! The soup was bomb!! Full of flavor with a nice mild spicy kick to it. Literally obsessed with the food. Everything was just delicious! Was the wait worth it? HELL YEAH!! I never really had tacos like this before and seriously mad I never heard of this until recently. If I known sooner I definitely would of went. I am already thinking about the next time I would get some tacos.

As far as Birria Tacos, these are the best I ever had! Don't expect birria tacos to be crunch/crispy or your ordinary regular taco. These are more on the softer side. Make sure you order some consome so you could dunk your taco in! I had a small consome with 2 tacos and 1 mulita it was the perfect amount. My kids and husband love this place! Definitely worth the 1hr drive and 2hr wait! So tasty 😋!!!

If you are scared of big lines, worry about COVID, and overall can't stand crowded places, this is the wrong place for you to be. But if you can brave the wait, stand away, and enjoy a agua fresca that is right next to the truck, you will have waited for Mexican delicacy that comes in a paper cup and aluminum tray. This delicacy, this beautiful presentation of golden tacos, will make you feel that you will risk it all over again. Order the classic 3 tacos and a small cup of consume. this will lead you to think about Roosevelt and Jackson heights as the only place where you can get a perfect cup of consume and tacos to dip them in. Always worth the wait. Always the best food to get in the immediate area. If you can brave it, it is worth it. I promise.

Lines were extremly long about an hour and a half and security was a bit rude. The food was great but was soggy upon finally getting to eat it. Flavors matched perfectly and definitely satisfied my taco cravings.

Waiting in the line for 1 hour, then wait for the order for another 30 min. Is it worth the wait? I’d say 1.5 hrs in total is a bit too long, but def worth a try! Taco tastes great, I’m not a pickle radish person, but I ate all of the radish, so good!! Tostadas is very much alike taco but with cheese and crispy tortilla. Mulita is def the winner! Everything tastes amazing together! Consome is good too, but not a wow to me. Overall, I don’t understand the line, but should try at least once!

The line was completely full when I got there, 50 deep when I was on, then another whole line of 50-60 when I reached the register to order. The service was fast surprisingly for how many people were making orders. These guys are busting their behinds nonstop with no break in between to feed all the customers. I love how they handled all that pressure, they greeted well and pointed me in the direction to get cash at an atm. Their food was really delicious, I ordered Tostadas, and Tacos and Soup. The soup is packed with meat, and so are the tacos, and the tostadas had a great crunch! I will be returning very soon A+

Birria landia was definitely worth the wait. Their consomme is sooooooooooo good! The meat is super tender and the broth is thick but not too overpowering. Since I’m not a huge fan of soft tacos, I opted for the tostada and it is heavenly. It’s like an open crispy taco with all the good juices with spices and flavor! I should’ve ordered more! Their lines are long but usually moves quite fast. I hope they offer delivery soon! 🥲

Be ready to wait. But know that it's worth waiting in line for. It moves fairly quickly. Get the large consome. If you have extra (will happen rarely because it's that good), use it for cooking a different meal later like on noodles or rice.

Only 4 food options. I give a 4 🌟 to the service and atmosphere because the guy working there giving you your order wasn't nice at all! My first time there and he said to me to move in a bad way and call the security guy that they have because I was "to close" to him. They are always ways to said things. I am crazy about Mexican food, in fact, I solely believe I was Mexican in my past life because I don't even like my country's gastronomy as much as I do Mexican's. I introduced my review like that because I really really really love Mexican food but after I tried Birria I do so WAY MORE!!!! Oh. My. God. An angel came down from Heaven and created the recipe for birrias, I have no doubt of that!!! It is the MOST delightful Mexican plate I have ever tried!!!! It's so simple yet so mouthwatering!!! I can't even describe how good this tastes!!!! It's really flavorful, sooooo Delishhhhh!!! Well... my experience was great! I truly advise you to buy one of each. If you can eat like a man, like me, then get two or more of each, cause although your stomach will be satisfied, you'll desire to keep eating until you can't breath normally and you'll regret it if you get "just enough". (Muuahaha!) In my opinion the mulitas are a little heavier than tacos or tostadas to eat because of the cheese. I had one mulita but will only get tacos and tostadas next time, not leaving my consome behind of course!! The lines were ongoing and seemed like we had to wait forever to get our food but didn't wait longer than 20 minutes. Sounds like a long time but if you come and see the lines for the amount of time you're there, you'll realize it's not really long. I had a fun experience while I was there and would love to give a shoutout to Jesus, who lent me $1.00. I ordered enough for me and my boyfriend, then decided to order some more. When I ordered the second time I gave them my change as tip and then decided to order a second consomé and ran out of money. I had decided not to order it because I was missing a dollar and the lovely Jesus told the cashier to accept what I had and leave it like that. Life saver!!!! I 1000% recommend this truck!!!! I can't wait to be back, hopefully again this week. Muahaha! Come and rate yourself!!!!!! You have to!!!!!!!!!!

My boyfriend had seen this food truck on you tube. We went out to dinner and then saw this truck afterwards. He quickly found a place to park and we entered the line to order. There were people lined waiting for their food which is a real food sign. We had the birria taco and tostada. Simply amazing! The tostada was the best I've ever had! Check out this truck!

Since I move in this area I have been seeing the large line that this food truck. Birria-Landia is a Mexican fast-food truck with only prepare four dishes, but this does not prevent having one of the longest lines in the area, but I can ensure you that it each second is worth the wait because it has to be the most delicious food truck on the area or maybe NYC. The food: Tostada is a 4 inches hard slow toasted that is made of corn tortilla and has chopped beef birria, onions cilantro sauces, and grated cheeses. Super delicious, crunchy it brings two hard tortillas with making it easier to eat and not drip it all around, the meat is not salty and is very fresh. Tacos two corn tortilla of four inches that has chopped beef birria, onion, cilantro, and sauce. Normal taco for any food truck, I really not see anything different between others from other food. Mulita a four inches corn tortilla stuffed with chopped beef birria, melted mozzarella, onions, cilantro, and sauce grated cheeses. The real MVP of the truck, the most delicious one of the truck, a bit hard to eat because the cheese's make it a bit greasy but it very worth it the combination of the melted mozzarella and the beef make it that each bite is like being on food heaven. MÉXICO 🇲🇽 (Baja) Eat the World NYC review: If you have been to Los Angeles in the past year, you have probably eaten from the truck on Slauson in South LA called Teddy's Red Tacos, which now commands multiple locations, a hoard of Instagram followers, and was even in a Super Bowl commercial. Even if you haven't, more than likely those famously red tortillas have probably graced your social media feeds in many ways, and always with that money shot of crispy tacos being dipped into cups of neon consome. This and other trucks and restaurants like it serve birria de res, the beef version of the dish that many goat birria purveyors from central and southern México still laugh off amicably and otherwise. This is not that, birria de chivo (goat) is often something saved for weekends or special occasions, preparation starting at least 24 hours before a meal. People eat it in their best clothes after church on Sundays. Birria de res has always been around though, savoured by the people in northern states of México and as far south as Zacatecas. A few years back the Tijuana flavors jumped the border and haven't looked back, the style perfectly suited for outdoor eating and food truck culture. Most of these purveyors did not actually have roots in Tijuana, but when the style started to blow up got into the game fast. Pueblan taqueros are known to be the best in the business and can adapt to any taco desire. It is in this spirit that the non-TJ proprietors of brand new Birria-Landia Tacos have hit the street in Jackson Heights, seeming to have gone to study in Los Angeles and bring back the trend of birria de res and an homage to Teddy's Red Tacos at the same time.

First time Birria eater and it was definitely a great spot for test #1. The location is clean and fast there's even another vendor there with homemade Mexican juice that makes the perfect pair. You have to get with the consome to get the full experience. While the cheese in the quesadilla added depth to the taste the crunchy-ness of the tostada was super helpful not wilting the tortilla with the juice of the meat and the consome. Wish I could make a hybrid. All in all awesome flavor abit of spice so be prepared. BUT ....it 100% worth it.

I have been coming here for about 2 years now and when I tell you this whole time I have never been disappointed is an understatement. I first started coming here with my friends as big group and even with at least 5 people our food was always ready in a relatively short amount of time. I honestly don't think I've ever waited for food longer than 7 minutes. I know that's super specific but I truly don't think I've waited 10 minutes even when there is a long lime. Their menu consists of 4 things but they have truly mastered each and every one of them. But my top two have to be the birria tacos and consome. The tacos are always super juicy and flavorful. The consome is always packed with meat on the bottom which is hard to find in a consome and full of flavor as well. My boyfriend loves the mulita. We have been on an extensive search for a place that compares to this one and we truly have not found it. If you are looking for delicious and authentic food you have to come here for sure. I promise you you'll love it and probably become obsessed just like we are.

We live in Manhattan and search high and low for good Mexican food, but unfortunately, it's all over hyped and over priced. But not Birria-Landia. WORTH THE HYPE. Came here on 2 occasions. The first time we waited 35mins and ordered 6 tacos. We instantly regretted ordering so little because they were so good! The second time i waited 15mins and ordered 13 tacos. If you have no idea about this taco truck, here are a couple things you should do to make the process easier. 1. Bring lots of cash 2. Dont wait until you get to the front of the line to think about what you want to order. Their specialty is Consomé (soup) and beef tacos. You’ll love it just get it. 3. Order in bulk. They hold up well in the fridge and taste just as good the next day. I microwave the soup and reheat the tacos in the oven. The long lines will deter you but I absolutely do not mind. They maneuver fast and have done really good job with their set up to make the line move as fast as possible.

We ordered Birria tacos and consome and everything was perfect. The tacos come with salsa and pickled red onions and lime wedges. The wait time was not long at all. I thought it would be considering others were waiting before we ordered but they work on the orders quickly. I'd imagine a slightly longer wait if there was a large rush of people but we didn't wait past 10 minutes. The tacos were flavorful, juicy and filled very well. The consume was hot and flavorful! It tasted great on it's own but dipping the tacos in or spooning a little on top of the tacos elevated the experience. I have no pictures because we just ate them without thinking about it. You won't be disappointed! We drove here on a Friday night but we were able to pull up a few cars behind the truck. I used the gps to get here but the location Google Maps told me was a few blocks off from where the truck was, so be mindful of that. We realized when we drove past it and the map said our destination was still 2 blocks away. We just made a U-turn so it wasn't that big of a deal. The tacos were $3.50 each when we went, which I think is a great price for what you get. You can use cash and card (extra tax applies). Will be going back!

What a wonderful experience! Folks line up to place their orders. Only 4 items on the menu, birria tacos, mulitas, tostadas and consomme (dipping broth). Tastes absolutely divine. 2 tacos did it for me. I also had half a mulita, akin to quesadilla, with meat, herbs, squishy cheese, cilantro and straight into the consomme it went, "dunk". The folks online are in pairs, mostly, and your order number is called out. Clean, fair process for fairly priced, delicious food. Open on weekdays, currently between 5pm and 1am.

The food here is soooo good for it to be in the middle of Roosie (which is littered with taco trucks) but I will say the tacos have gotten smaller, and the price has gone up. Good tacos but not great. If I was able to order and get the food within 10/15 min then my experience would have been better but waiting an 1 1/2 hours for the beef tacos wasn’t worth it. Ordered three tacos, I had one straight up, then one with the red sauce and the last with the red sauce and onions. The taco doesn’t stand up on its own so they need the added topping and sauce. The meat is juicy and tender but it’s missing flavor. The long wait definitely takes away from the experience.

It was quite the line when we got there. But we figured we'd wait. There were a few of us so we kept each other entertained. The line felt like a quick 20 minutes, but the wait after we ordered was another 45 minutes. Not bad assuming they should of been "really good." They were not Really Good. They were just good. I give it 3 stars based off of the taste of the tacos. The wait didn't bother me. And the atmosphere didn't bother me because it's Queens so you have to expect drunk people, loud people, and everything else that comes with Queens. You can go try it for yourself, but they were only Just Good. 👋🏼🌮

Great prices and can't deny how delicious the food is. It is medium to low spicy and there's cilantro... So if you don't like either or both, this isn't the place for you. To beat the crazy crowd, come on a rainy day. I don't think there are vegetarian or vegan options either but I may be wrong. I would def order again whenever I pass by and the line isn't long.

Definitely go early- I hate waiting on lines so we went about 15 mins before it opened and there was already a line forming. It's very delicious tacos. The shells are fried and have a nice crunch. The meat is deliciously seasoned, and soft and tender. They also make a consome that you can dip the tacos in to further elevate the flavor. I just been there so many times I'm Birria'd out. I will say that on the weekends the line can get long, but they're relatively fast. The wait is worth it. The truck is also located in a high traffic area. So parking can be very difficult.

We are from NJ and whenever we go to queens, it's a mandatory to stop and get some tacos! We always order a dz. regular tacos, 4x tostadas and don't forget 2 large consome! 👌😋 The best time to come here, midnight! 😆 the line is not that super long, and you can park nearby or infront of the truck - (if you get lucky) Also, mondays and Tuesdays Best days- midnight, they are kinda slow! 5 to 10mins wait time, We tried other days.. busy already. For busy days, you need to wait 30-45mins in the line for orders, and another 30 to 45 mins wait for them to finish your orders.

This place is everything the stories say and more. The smell coming off the boxes of food was so good my family and I forgot to get pictures! I'm going back soon, I will endeavor to take a few then, if I can resist long enough. The beef was so tender, the taco dipped in consomme was delicious, and then finishing it all off by drinking down that elixir of the gods was the next best thing to a religious experience. 11/10 will be back as soon as my food coma wears off enough to move again.

The food is so juicy and the consome is excellent. The first time i went about two hours total. The second time only about an hour wait ( after they opened up the new truck locations not sure if that correlates). The tacos are on the smaller side but don’t let that fool you as they are pretty well stuffed. I also tried the tostada, good if you are going for a crunchier version of the taco. They put meat in the soup so it is always a nice snack for later on.

It's a very popular food truck but not your average food truck. They sell only four items but a simple menu means to can serve a lot more people faster and the food overall is amazing. The tacos i give 3 out of five stars because the while the filling was very tasty the taco itself was very greasy and bland but the soup is top notch and when you dip the taco into the soup the flavor jumps thru the roof. The soup is incredibly flavorful, it's spicy but not too spicy. It leaves a nice burn but it doesn't last long so you can enjoy it more. It warms the body and soul. There were so many people ordering and waiting for their food which is a testament to how good the food is and the wait is worth it

The tacos are savory, the consome is out of this world my favorite part was drinking it after I finished dunking my tacos. The mulita was absolutely incredible. There are 100s of taco trucks on Roosevelt and I never really paid much attend to Birria untill IG blew them up. So I prepared myself to wait at least 1 hr minimum to get their food. The consumme had a cinnamon taste to it which I didnt like and was not expecting. It was like biting into an empanada with raisins in it lol..but everything else was ok. When you have a long line waiting for your food with only one variation of the same food, you know your food is GREAT! I saw the Truck featured in a Netflix show sponsored by DoorDash, I was mesmerized and a couple weeks later, I was there. They turn around the food quite fast so you generally wait about 15 mins which not horrible. Everything was so delicious! I wish I had taken photos but it looked so good, I totally forgot! I live very close, at 80th st, and every time I pass by I see this huge line! Today I've just decided to face it and try something to eat. I got a consome birria and it was just ok. Nice flavor but nothing special. I paid $6, which is a good price. I'd get back for something else for sure, but their big ally is the media, that has been encouraging the line with their articles talking about how amazing the food is, and we all know how exaggeration helps our ego to try different things . Other than that, there are several other trucks, with almost the same products around. They just need to be trusted and reviewed.

It’s right on Roosevelt Ave, so best of luck. Anyways the guy taking the order was super nice. I ordered 2 of each for my husband and I, 2 tacos, 2 tostada & 2 mulitas, & a SM Consomé. His favorite was the tacos! & mines was the tostada. The mulitas were good but they get soggy within seconds! the consomé was delicious! Super hearty and filling. Overall it was a nice experience super tasty food and great prices! It is just that next time we come we’ll make sure it’s a bit warmer out.

I drove from Manhattan to Queens just to try these tacos and dios mio , they are sooooo DELICIOUS 😋 🌮. Last time I try tacos like this I was in Mexico. Lines are long ,but they move fast. Note: My visit was during the covid 19 pandemic . Staff and customers were all wearing their mask which is great. The only downside is that not every group was maintaining a 6 feet distance. They should put signs in the floor to keep the distance required by the CDC.

The food is amazing. That I cannot and will not complain about. It is worth the try if you have time to stand for 1 hr+. I came here tonight after a long busy day to grab some grub. My partner and I were waiting on the sidewalk near the fence, (social distancing) for our order. All of a sudden a guy with a secruity shirt tells us to leave and to come back in 40 minutes, I just about drove that here.. So my partner said we will not move. We've been here before, tons of times and we always wait on the sidewalk, everyone does. He continues to say we will not receive our order. A couple minutes after (I have the video) he went to one of the employees & told him not to serve us. We still waited. This "security" was harassing everyone telling them if they didn't social distance or stand in a certain corner that there order would be canceled. Everyone stood where they were. I was curious to know why he was bothering people that were doing nothing wrong? They all had masks and were waiting patiently. The "security" kept going on his phone and calling "the cops" in front of people to try and intimidate them. That didn't work. This man was just rude and obnoxious. I believe this place can do much better with crowd control, if thats there goal, but not this way. People felt uncomfortable and bothered, it was obvious. He shouldn't be representing your hard earned work, you lose clientele this way. One last thing, please tell your security to wear his face mask. I saw droplets fall out of his mouth every time he spoke and he definitely did not keep his distance. Shame on him.

I grew up in California where just about every other restaurant in town is an authentic Mexican restaurant. Birria has been my favorite food since I could remember. Since moving to New York/NJ, I realized the one thing you guys lacked was good Mexican food and there’s no birria anywhere especially not New Jersey. This food truck is like a taste of home. I take the train for an hour once a week just to come here. No matter the line the customer service is amazing and the food is authentically delicious.

The definition of doing one thing perfectly. Somehow they make their one meat and sauce combo taste differently with each application. I loved all of it, but the "Mulita" was my favorite. Parking can be a hassle but it will be worth your trip.

I saw the Birria tacos on tiktok so I google places that sells. I came across Birria Landia and omg!! Let me tell you the tacos and tostadas are unbelievably tasteful! Every bite you get rich flavor!! I drove from Bronx to Queens just to try this tacos and tostadas. I love it and I will go there as often as I can!!

Top notch taco spot focusing in on birria style. The truck is on this corner of Roosevelt Ave from late afternoon until late night. On your first visit, get the tacos and don't miss out on the consomme. Dipping the tacos in the broth is next level. The folks running the truck are friendly and very quick. There's a few small stools and a standing area to eat.

Birria is made with goat, not beef. When somebody says they've had birria and it's made with beef, it's actually "barbacoa." Barbacoa is delicious, but it's not birria. Great service during pandemic and tacos were ok. Long line of course but moves fast.

YES YES YES there doesnt need to be a lot said about this food truck. if youve seen a lot of IG videos from the west coast about the birria tacos and have been wanting something for the east coast, then look no further! this is it! one of two places i know of that serve birria. I got one taco and mulita around 9pm. it was starting to get busy bc alot of people were coming from trains and heading home. Its spicy beef stew essentially and they douse the tortillas in their soup aka consomme which is like a spicy beef soup you get at a korean place but mexican style. they were just really delicious. the mulitas get soggy faster because of how theyre structured but still really flavorful and great. it may even feel healthier to some compared to getting empanadas or pizza nearby in the neighorhood. DEF MUST EAT if youre around late at night and youre hungry for a snack, maybe came from the gym, etc ill come back if im around there that time.

Highly rec the Mulita. The stewed beef works so well with the tortilla... it absorbs the flavors of the Birria stewed meat. Do yourself a favor and eat it on the spot— don’t take it to go.
