Great little off the wall place. Very unexpected for it to be so nice and quaint. The green doors and accents are awesome, and the food and drinks are on point! Shrimp and grits had the perfect blend of spices, but my girlfriend wasn’t ready for the shrimp heads still being attached! Manager noticed the freaked her out and quickly removed them from the table. Benedict was great! Definitely will return when in town.

As you walk in entrance of this place, you are met by a long hallway of beautiful lights that leads in to an even more beautifully lit courtyard. We were greeted and sat by the owner. I feel like this says a lot when the owner is actually present in their establishment and gets to know her customers. The food was hands down the best I have had in New Orleans and I’ve been here three times. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert lit my tastebuds up (in a good way). The bread pudding was honestly the best I have ever had anywhere. If you are in New Orleans this is a must try spot!

I had this restaurant at the first day in New Orleans. The charcuterie plate was fine. The sausage was delicious but the baguette was not fresh. The burger was bland and boring. The bbq shrimp was just fine. The service was awesome. People were nice here.

Excellent experience from the start! Great quick service, spectacular food, amazing flavors, from the Escargots, to the Filet, the SEAFOOD PASTA BOUILLABAISSE and the capper....Chocolate Mouse pie. Let's just say everything was delightful. I'm so glad I made reservations to visit....we'll be coming back soon.

Underwhelming dishes for its price point. Nice venue and atmosphere but the chef’s dish that I ordered (40 dollars seafood pasta) tasted like something I had at Cheesecake Factory. The mussels still had sands inside and they were unfresh and withered. Chicken breast was okay but not worth its price. Overall find the experience underwhelming.

My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary here. Between the staff, food and ambiance, we couldn’t have picked a better place. The crawfish stuffing alone is worth the trip. But the staff really was the star- just as warm and inviting and as nice as you can be. Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for a romantic setting. This place is downright sexy.

Stopped by for an impromptu birthday celebration with a party of eight. Manager and server were above and beyond. Sweet, fun, and attentive. Bread pudding was AHHHH-MAZING. At the end she even had us a do a fun birthday recording down the lighted hallway. We'll def be back!

Last night was our first time and wow! Our service was impeccable by Tori! The food was delicious we had the crabcrakes with the crawfish cream sauce. My husband had the French onion soup and as a former cook for over 16 years said it was the best he'd ever had. The greens were amazing as well so flavorful. Also the atmosphere, the music and the staff we can't praise enough. We were having trouble getting to the Andrea Bocelli concert and the owner came and introduced herself... she is so amazing and just genuine... we will definitely be back again! Add this to your list you won't regret it! Make sure to take pictures in the hallway or the courtyard. Thank y'all for an amazing experience 💓

Stumbled onto this restaurant after hearing of the long wait time at two other restaurants. The best decision ever. Food was exquisite. Hospitality was A1. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits New Orleans.

Vyoone's is such a pretty place!! You get that feeling right when you walk in through their magically lit entrance alley and past their courtyard into the main dining room. My partner and I went down to New Orleans back in February for a combined bachelor party and Vyoone's was more than accommodating for our group of 25 for dinner. Everybody had the opportunity to order from the full menu and everything was great! The food was nice and fresh, the drinks were strong, the staff was superb, and the space was beautiful! The location is great and I would definitely recommend this place to anybody (large groups especially, but this would be great for a couple or small groups as well)

We enjoyed brunch. Onion soup was very good and the omelet was served hot and was excellent. Eggs Benedict also very good but the soft shell crab was also very good! Upstairs and downstairs dining rooms. Restrooms on first floor off courtyard. No parking in site. In the middle of the block so look for the sign. Good bloody Mary's!

Went out for dessert for my birthday and we stumbled upon this adorable place. The lighted hallway immediately draws you in. The bartender made me a special drink to celebrate the day (behind the green door), it was AHHHH-MAZING! The place has it all: great food, great atmosphere, great staff! If you haven't visited you need too. Highly recommended!

Come see Chris at Vyoone’s, Friendly staff, relaxing ambience, perfect collection of music and service. The food is a perfect blend not too much grease or butter to hide the lack of seasoning but exactly how it should be when you come to a restaurant like this one. Made reservations for 2 on a Saturday night and we were seated upon arrival. We sat upstairs near a window overlooking Girod. We ordered a half dozen of charbroiled oysters as an appetizer. I ordered the St. Jacques scallops as an entree and my spouse ordered the crab cakes. Both were great. For dessert, we had the white chocolate bread pudding. Overall, this is a great spot for date night and their staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that the portions could have been larger.

Excellent! We were going to another restaurant and decided to stop into Vyoone's for drinks. Ended up staying the whole evening. James was fantastic in drink and dinner service while Chef Jennifer personally made recommendations and brought our food to the table. We had several rounds of their warmed olives in cinnamon citrus and rosemary, followed by the cheese plate and finished with the bouliabase. Highly recommend and will return in the future.

This place is great! Our waiter suggested a fine red wine his taste was on point. My boyfriend ordered a steak that was perfection. I ordered crabcake pasta it was delicious. We finished our dinning experience with a Crem'e Brule creamy, sweet, with a crisp top. The staff was friendly made you feel special and high class. Great for a romantic date night. We will be returning to this hidden jewel in a big ole city! Great work staff!

My husband and I went to Vyoones for our date night. I’m sorry but it was NOT good….it was AMAZING!!!! The vibe was everything!! A gentleman greeted us with a wonderful smile, and an older lady told us Happy Date night! We were seated upstairs, which was cute. I can’t remember our waitress’s name, however she was great! (The guy and other waitress working up there were also very friendly!) She took her time, explained the menu and specials to us, and was extremely patient. The spinach dip with the crabs was FIRE! My husband ordered the steak and said “this is the best steak I’ve ever had!” (I take him to a steak house for his birthday every year sooooo that says a lot!) my scallops were delicious as well! The portion sizes were PERFECT. I probably should’ve saved some but I couldn’t stop eating! Unfortunately, we ate too much and couldn’t squeeze dessert in, but WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Found this little gem on the last day of our trip. The place was so busy we had the owner take care of us. We sat outside on the patio which was beautiful. A lovely dining experience. The mussels and the french onion soup were delicious and very generous portions. The bananas foster creme brule was excellent. I cannot remember the name of my cocktail- Jamaican something. . . It was refreshing but has a sneaky kick. Loved it.

Good atmosphere but food was not as great as the settings. Server forgot we got seated had to ask for water and menu 45 minutes after being seated. Maybe bad luck but also got stale wine by the glass @ $13 per glass. NOLA has to many better options.

Went last night to celebrate a friend's 70th bday. Started with an obviously stoned waiter that took a few times to get things right. The appetizers were amazing, especially the cheese and seafood dip. My scallops were good but the risotto below them was room temp and bland. The bread pudding was awesome. So a mixed bag and hence the 3 star rating.

Have popped in here a couple times for cocktails and appetizers at the bar. The bartenders have always been friendly and attentive and the place doesn't get too loud. Would make a great date night or just a nice place to catch up with friends!

We came here for dinner last night and have to say everything about Vyoone's was wonderful. The atmosphere was great, especially when a table freed up on the balcony outside looking down over the courtyard below. The four in our party shared the calamari, mussels, and crab cakes. The calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. The mussels were in this unbelievably delicious cream sauce. And the crab cakes, well, I don't have words for them. I had the scallops that came in a wonderful creamy, buttery, cheese sauce with bread that had a light oil and seasoned flavor- wonderful! Jackie had the burger, which came with carmalized onions, tomato, and greens. The texture and taste was amazing. And the fries, I didn't know fries could taste so good. They were lighter than fries you get anywhere else and not greasy at all. The fries had a seasoning on them as well that was magnificent. The other two in our party had the chicken and the soft-shell crab entrees. While I did not try either entrée, each of them cleaned their plates and said it was delicious. Last, but not least, the entire staff that took care of us were so pleasant, friendly, and accommodating- Thank you!

Out party had a mixed experience at Vyoone’s. First, we specifically reserved a table during their purported happy hour. As I write this, Vyoone’s website still boasts a variety of happy hour choices from 5p to 6p, including half-priced bottles of champagne, $5 glasses of wine and $4 local beers. When our server offered up their “specialty cocktail” of some sort of gin concoction, we asked for the other options. She kindly explained that they stopped offering that kind of happy hour months ago (even tho it’s STILL on their website). BIG disappointment. From there, the food reviews from our table were mixed. The BBQ shrimp was excellent, as were two of the four entrees selected. Other apps and entrees simply weren’t worth the exorbitant prices. They were nothing better than what you’d get anywhere else. Up charges were freely applied for things like extra bread for an appetizer, or extra sauce. On the positive side, the service was good and it was nice to meet the owner. A good meal overall, but significantly overpriced.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat at. The atmosphere is great, the cocktails were delicious and the food was exceptional. The service was good and friendly and everything went perfect the entire time. It is definitely a celebration place as it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for in quality and flavor. Delicious food and the experience is worth the price. Of all the places I ate in New Orleans, this was the best and that’s saying something because there are lots of excellent restaurants there.

This place was amazing! I called to make a group reservation and Vyoone and Peggy couldn't have been nicer! They completely took care of me and I knew that when I got there, everything would be taken care of. I even shipped them items to put out on the tables and when we got to the restaurant, everything was set up beautifully. The put us in a private space upstairs that had such an awesome atmosphere. Our guests were very impressed to say the least! Vyoone came out to greet me and was just as nice in person as she was over the phone. Our waiters for the evening were Davis and Harry and they were wonderful too! Took such great care of use the whole night and we never once felt rushed to leave. Finally, the food was incredible. Yum! I am going back to NOLA in May and I can't wait to go back to Vyoone's for another awesome dinner!

We were very warmly welcomed by the hostess. The bartender gave us a new cocktail to try and our red wines by the glass were very good. We asked many questions about sizes and amounts of various appetizers. We were told the scallops (entrée = coquilles St. Jacques) "were enough to fill you." At 35 bucks a pop, you figure...five? six? scallops? No...three. Waitress said after serving, "I just work here." Yes, and you fudged on our question. That kind of dirty dealing makes one question what kind of place they are angling to be. If you don't encounter good crabcakes eating out, you might think their cakes are fabulous. They are not. This is an unremarkable spot except for its friendly staff.

I’m eating here now and all I can say is what a gem! Vyoone is just the most blissful person and her staff, the ones I’ve met, Shani and Brian are super down to earth and friendly. The tuna tartare was incredible, burger amazing and great wine choices. Her prices are super reasonable. Vyoones is the best! We had a fantastic private event here for 30 people (and they have room for even more). The food was delicious! Gourmet and beautiful served. The ambience is perfect for a Saturday night in New Orleans. Each member of the staff was so lovely — kind, helpful, and talented whether at the bar, serving food, or creating the amazing dishes. We were walking around looking for a place to have a drink and desert for my wife's 4th annual 35th Birthday. We saw a hall of lights which immediately drew us in. The host was really nice and sat us outside in a super romantic scene of hanging outdoor lights and fire pits. Although there were tables all around, it truly felt intimate and perfect for a date night. I wish I remembered our waiters name who also happened to be the bartender. He recommended a cucumber vodka basil drink for my wife that was not on the menu called 'Behind the Green Door' which was great and I had an Old Fashoned which he chose the bourbon and chose quite well. The Bananas Fosters Creme Brulee was great but my wifes chocolate mousse (which I typically hate) was out of this world if you are into really rich chocolate deserts. Lots of chocolate chunks in it as well. It was a little pricey, but the evening was priceless and it was as much due to the staff, service and atmosphere as it was to the food. Highly recommended.

To be honest they need a lot of work over there. The menu options don't sound appetizing. It looks boring. Printed on boring beige paper with a boring font trying to be elegant. It doesn't make sense to me. They call their happy hour menu a culinary menu instead of a prix fixe menu. The inside is boring, the walk path with Christmas lights are a bit trashy. Up lights would have been a better choice. But you know it reminds me of diy. Pinterest like. I want this place to work. But it has to be special for people to come back. Make it lived in. It's too sterile. Now on to the food. Tomato soup was too thick and salty. BUT it did have a great flavor. Transversely, the short ribs and grits were uneventful. There was so much gravy my fork went swimming. Now had the gravy had a flavor that would be different. The grits were creamy, but was that because of all that gravy. And the mango sorbet tasted ok, but kinda factory like. Listen reduce the menu. Focus on the things you do well. One meat, one fish one chick and one veggie. Get better dessert options. Change up the furniture.

Place has a cold feel (mostly due to the lighting), the food is overpriced and lacking in fundamentally any imagination. Considering the price point and the fact that this restaurant is in the middle of the warehouse district, an area rife with cutting edge restaurants, this place is a disappointment. Mind you, the food is not bad, but it is nothing to write home about, considering that other kitchens in the same zip code will do considerably more for considerably less. Upside, they give you a choice of stake knife...

Adored our visit to Vyoones last evening! Even with the massive influx of people given the lifting of mask mandates and the Jazz Fest crowd this weekend, Vyoones was ON IT. We enjoyed their softshell crab with crawfish sauce, as well as the catfish, their french manhattans, and their incredible bread pudding. Vyoones is such a magical, tucked-away gem, offering light twists on classic creole meals. Food is reasonably portioned, well priced, and delicious. The ambiance is so charming.
