Reviews of Two Chicks Café - CBD
We loved it. Fantastic food, atmosphere, service. They are busy, but not overwhelmed. The Belt Eggwich was delightful. Others in my party enjoyed the Under the Sea omelet and Crab cake Benedict. The Papas French Toast was amazing and by far the best French Toast I've ever had-slightly sweet with a crunch. Fresh juices were great too. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely be back.
It was very busy, but well worth the wait. Everything is very cute and clean and the staff is super friendly. I had brunch with some family and friends there, and the thing we loved the most were the grits! HANDS DOWN best grits I’ve ever had. I liked my mimosa as well, and my mom liked the coffee. We ordered strawberry crepes, plain crepes, eggs benedict with grits on the side, a side of potatoes, and the chicken club sandwich. Everything was really good and we enjoyed the vibe of the place as much as the food💕
We had to wait about 40 min., but it was well worth it. A variety of nice mimosas to start, followed by delicious food. The under the sea omelet was packed with crab and shrimp, cooked just right, and topped with a generous slice of Brie. The farm house omelet was just as good with turkey, smoked Gouda, tomatoes and onions. Papa's French toast was thick with just the right amount of gooeyness. Everything was fresh and properly prepared. Friendly staff too. A little out of the way, but hey, go explore and you might just find this little gem!
The food was good. My friend had to send her food back because it came over cooked. However they did fix her order and everything tasted good. The service was horrible the waitress never came to our once to check on us and she didn’t give us napkins. After providing terrible service she decided to put a gratuity on our bill and then when we asked to speak with the manger she told us she was unavailable and on the beach and she didn’t want to be bothered. After I told her the policy stated six or more people it adds it automatically. She then took it off and got an attitude and walked away. I would not recommend based on the service and deceptive practices.
Please do yourself a BIG favor and have breakfast here! Absolutely worth it! My whole party was happy with their dishes and the food was quick and Hott. Waitress even took the time to tell us where to visit in New Orleans. The atmosphere was vibrant and restaurant was clean. I’m not sure if I’ll ever find a French toast better than the one I had here!
Visiting in town for the weekend and the hotel staff recommended this spot. This place exceeded my expectations in every way: service, food and atmosphere.
I tried a half order of Papas French toast, the chicken omelette with potatoes and veggie Benedict with grits. For drinks I got a hot coffee and Iron Chick fresh juice, there was also a ginger based fresh juice but I didn't like it much but that's because I don't like a lot of ginger.
I'd come back everyday if I could!
There was a line outside but moved quickly. We ordered the green leaf smoothie, breakfast poboy, the French toast and grits on the side. The poboy was too salty for our taste. The French toast was decent not spectacular, the corn flakes outside gives it a crunchy texture. The grits was creamy and delicious. Service was nice and efficient, which I appreciate.
This place is truly amazing. Me and my family went here for breakfast while on vacation here in New Orleans and it was so good we came back the very next day. The ambiance is very light and homey, with all of the employees hosting a very kind spirit. The speed of service was remarkable, and both of the ladies who served us, went the extra mile. Whether it be checking in at the right times, or making sure we had all our food, two chicks was amazing all around . I 10/10 recommend! ( P.S the French Toast was to die for!)
My brother and sister in law are having a wonderful time in New Orleans. They sent me pictures of their breakfast. It looks so good I just had to write about it. My brother had the seafood omelet with roasted potatoes and my sister in law had the French toast. They both said the food was delicious and the servers were very friendly. Service was great.
Really cute friendly atmosphere. Even though the place was busy the service was impeccable. Everyone was so friendly and sweet! They have bar seating. Food came out in reasonable time. I ordered crab cake Benedict with grits! Grits were amazing! They have freshly squeezed drinks that look delicious but I ordered the orange mint tea that was super good. When in town I'd definitely come back!
I can see why this place is so highly rated! It’s so good, literally everyone at our table loved their drinks and food. Our waitress was super attending and funny, another waitress even sang me happy birthday! Happy we stopped here!
Stopped in for breakfast because the online reviews were good and it was close by the hotel I was staying at. I am glad I gave this spot a try, the food and service was great! I had the crab cake eggs Benedict which was super good. The potatoes were also a great alternative to the grits that every place down there has for breakfast (not from New Orleans). I saw other plates go by and everything looked amazing.
Reviews are are spot on, definitely worth giving this a try.
Bubba the doorman at the Ritz Carlton told us this was the BEST breakfast in town and he wasn’t kidding. What a surprise treat! This is a MUST go to spot the next time you are in NOLA. The crab Benedict was delicious. The grits were the BRST we had all trip. The service was friendly and quick. The surroundings were welcoming and artsy. Don’t miss this breakfast spot.
Wow, excellent. The veggie benedict and the iron chick juice, (beet juice), were an excellent choice. Everything taste great. The service i received from Nayomi was great. The entire staff was polite and welcoming. I Will definitely be back when I visit NOLA again.
Great spot for breakfast. The freshly made juices are outstanding and the food flavorful. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the poached eggs came with the yolk very hard. It was busy and service was a bit slow but worth the wait as the remainder of three dishes we had were simply delicious.
Could be a bit of a wait to get in but it is totally worth it! Is a very hip breakfast joint with a wonderful atmosphere and super friendly staff... And the food is absolutely delicious!
This is the best breakfast we’ve had so far in New Orleans. Fresh ingredients, fresh squeezed juices, and omg the grits. Anything grit related . The shrimp and grits and the cheesy grits side dish are AMAZING. Very family friendly. Very attentive staff.
Awesome breakfast and great service. I had the French toast and couldn't be happier. The staff were really friendly. This was easily the best service I've had since coming to New Orleans. Highly recommended!
Absolutely delicious food we had for breakfast here. Wait staff are so friendly and welcoming.
And the grits were AMAZING!
Super family friendly and nice atmosphere. We fed our family of five for about $80.
Go before 9:45am and get your spot in the line. The wait can be longer later. Amazing food. Portions sizes are huge. Great staff and service just like in almost all NOLA restaurants. Highly recommend
Our favorite place we ate in New Orleans. Fair prices, excellent food, great employees. We had the green juice and it was amazing. Everyone loved their food. So good.
The food and service were excellent. Loved the freshly squeezed juices. The French toast was amazing. Great breakfast spot. Well worth the wait.
Honestly this place deserves a 5* for the vibe, the excellent and friendly service and the incredible menu that will have you struggling to make a choice whether it's the breakfast or lunch menu. The refillable drinks were all refreshing, delicious and appropriately sweetened, while being hevay in freshness and flavor. I went for the server-recommended Thai Shrimp Poboy which was incredible. The Chicken Panini was also recommended as a staff favorite, but unfortunately this one was a miss. The Chicken Breast was just incredibly tough and almost impossible to chew through, so much that this must have been microwaved beforehand. It kindof made the whole panini almost inedible. Otherwise, we wish they weren't closed tomorrow so we'd be able to give this place another visit. But otherwise, a great choice for brunch when you're in the city.
Co worker and I had grits bowel. Me with sauteed veggies and eggs over easy, her eith bacon and scrambled eggs. So very good! Veggies perfectly cooked and bacon. Creamy grits, yum! Good service. Out in 30 minutes at lunch time. Gravier St. Location.
It's a great spot. Cool atmosphere, and the omletes were so good. I even got a Irish balieys iced coffee!
I don’t usually love brunch but it was really really good here! Shrimp poboy is truly great
We loved the food, the services and the atmosphere. The place is clean and staff is delightful. I would definitely recommend the Benedict’s.
First time visit and did not disappoint. Reasonably priced with big portion sizes. Service from staff was amazing.
Exceptional service and the food was delicious. Try the Papa's French Toast with a side of turkey and the fresh squeezed juices. You won't be disappointed.
I had the standard breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast plus a green juice. It was an okay experience, nothing really made it stand out from most other American cafes. The best part was the green juice which was very tasty and the crispy bacon. The potatoes were large, hard, and greasy. The service is very slow, since it is a very popular place so only eat there if you’re willing to wait a while. The server I had was very nice, but my overall time there was pretty average.
I would give 5 star if it wasn't for the water-down "freshly squeeze orange juice" it's $4.99 for small cup, with ice and no refills! Why do take the advantage of the customers like that? At least give us a full cup of pure Orange juice and not add water. Food is great! I'd come again but will not order O.J again. Service is phenomenal as well. Honest review
This is a must when in NOLA. The French toast is delicious, the crepes are light and fluffy, The drinks are delightful. They was a short wait before we were seated but the food was worth the wait!
This place is beautiful and inviting; and the staff were so sweet! We opted for the benedict and the shrimp and grits! Both were delicious
Everything was great! The waitress was friendly and knowledgable of the area. I will definitely return!
The breakfast was great. It is clean and the service is really quick. The waitress are also helpful and pretty ladies.
Amazing brunch, great Irish coffee and Mango mimosas! Sam was one of the best servers we've experienced!
Walked to an amazing location and boom...a blue wall!!! Lol,
Actually, this location is 1 of 2. It's beautiful. Very colorful and picture perfect.
The food is amazing. I had the BBQ shrimp and grits and the flavor was amazing. I was starving, so when we saw a line outside,I was a but bummed. We got in in less than 10 min and it was definitely worth it.
Every seat is a great seat.
The staff was so polite, above and beyond, shared the story of the 2 chics, and gave really great suggestions.
Yum!!!!
We came for breakfast and it was so good.
Great service. Greeted with a smile and “good morning.”
Got seated and had coffee on the table in about 2 minutes.
My husband had the crab cake Benedict.
He’s a big guy and he was full.
He said “lots of crab, not over cooked.”
I got the grits bowl with ham.
Creamy grits, sautéed veggies with egg.
I added ham.
It has DELICIOUS!!
And when we got ready to leave the waitress offered us coffee to go.
That’s how you get customers to come back.
From the service to the coffee to the food…it was all superb. I especially loved my breakfast po boy sandwich! Highly recommend!!
There was a line outside but it moved fast and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was quick considering how packed they were. The food was well worth the wait! I had an amazing veggie Benedict and my friend had the corn flake crusted french toast. We both had the grits, they were very creamy and delicious! Highly recommend!
The best orange juice I've ever had. Was very fresh. If in the area again, I'll call in an order specifically for the orange juice. I also liked not being required to wear a mask. RESERVE YOUR SPOT
Food and service were excellent! Our server was friendly and attentive, and gave great recommendations. The portions are so large it was impossible to finish all of our food. We tried a few of their Mimosa flavors, the Mango and Peach were the best. All of the food was great, but their pancakes are so soft and fluffy it's out of this world! Only complaint is that gratuity of 20% was automatically added to the bill, our server definitely deserved it but we prefer to leave cash when we can.
Best Shrimp and Grits in New Orleans. Hands down. The wait for this place could be long if coming after 10am, but we'll worth it.
Cozy place to have breakfast. The staff was very friendly. The cheese grits was so good. And their fresh made juices are so refreshing!
Great food the atmosphere was very eclectic and the food was great. Some of the best grits I’ve had and the Cajun Sandwich was great
The building was small but very homey. Everyone was nice and everything was so clean. Katrina with her Philly hospitality made me feel at home & her service was top tier. She was prompt but not over invasive. She truly took made my breakfast experience by serving New Orleans food with Texas sized portion along with a Philly hospitality. If ever in New Orleans, please visit 2 Chicks for all your breakfast needs.
Great atmosphere. The fresh juices hits the spot to start your day. The pancakes are heavenly, the best I've ever had.
Came here for brunch. The atmosphere is really cool with some funky art on the walls. The staff here were super friendly and were happy to give a couple of tourists some cool spots to visit. The menu was affordable and the food was amazing! Ordered Eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly over a huge slab of ham. Great place!
All selections made on my 1st trip to Twi Chicks were amazingly great!! Shrimp n Grits did not have bbq sauce in it. That description almost made me miss out🤣. Everything was good! Will come again #satisfiedcustomwr …
Delicious food! I had the French toast and it was the best I think I've ever had. So good.
Great New Orleans cuisine at the right price! Service was excellent as well!
Breakfast was great they give you big portions too much for me to eat so come with a appetite
Everything is delicious, especially the French toast, grits, and potatoes! Definitely a must try, you won’t be disappointed
The food was delicious. I had the breakfast bowl and my fiance had the breakfast po boy. We were seated immediately and the customer service was perfect. Our server was beyond sweet and had a lovely conversation with her about our time here, where we are from, her home town, and her friends/coworkers. Definitely a great spot. 100% recommended.
Great place and great food. Super friendly staff. Love the atmosphere! The breakfast poboy was unexpectedly delicious. French toast is their thing here but it's not mine so I did pancakes which were very good! I would definitely recommend you go here if you're in the neighborhood!
This place was sooo cute, perfect breakfast spot if you’re looking for a healthy yummy place to eat. I had the yogurt and fruit and a breakfast sandwich to fuel up for a day of adventure
Adorable place! Great food. Good breakfast cocktail menu. Great service. I had the French toast and the mimosa. Best French toast I’ve ever had! Get there early! They open at 8, we got there around 8:20 with no wait but place slowly got packed. Left and there was a line around the corner lol
I picked this restaurant for breakfast because of their great reviews. I may have caught them on an off day because my breakfast was a disappointment. The seafood omelette was not terrible, it was just somewhat dry and bland. I’ve enjoyed some good grits on my trip, but not here. The grits were actually over cooked and just tasted off. On the bright side, the multigrain toast was great. My friend thought his egg white omelette was fine.
The French toast was amaze balls, not a fan of French toast but this had a crunchy taste cos it has corn flakes sprinkled on it
The French toast is a must have. Food fresh, juice fresh, omelet delicious.
Probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had! Ala the server was amazing! Great positive attitude!
Food was so amazing. Had an omelette, French toast and the shrimp and grits. Nothing disappointed. Wish we were staying longer to come back! Highly recommend. Staff is also super friendly and knowledgeable.
Great food and great service! I had the Below the Sea Omelet and a mango mimosa. I wish I could remember my server's name because she was so cheerful and friendly. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in New Orleans.
Update:
Again a delicious experience!! They never disappoint. Again! Again!
What a terrific breakfast experience. Our server was super polite and fun to talk to. My coffee was topped off constantly so always felt like a fresh hot cup.
The food of course was delicious.
Update 2021-01: Again they do not disappoint. I had a breakfast poboy that was simply delicious.
Enjoyed breakfast here with two co-workers while in town for a conference. Wonderful food and our server was very nice and friendly.
The best by far breakfast in CBD! The food is amazing! Freshly squeezed juices are great. Try their cocktails too. We had a mimosa and something else. The wait time could be a problem: 30-45 minutes.
Really nice atmosphere, the food was good I really enjoyed the potatoes next time I'm in town I will definitely visit again.
The food was great, the atmosphere was great and the coffee, well, it was great also. We had a long night the evening before and I had to try the old "hair of the dog" trick and have a Irish coffee and the waitress, didn't mind at all! After all, you're in New Orleans, right?
The staff was so friendly and attentive so, we had a great morning breakfast. Both of us had the french toast which was amazing!
Enjoyed fresh squeezed orange juice, mouth watering Papa's French Toast topped with fresh strawberries and bananas, tasty pancakes, and a scrumptious made-to-order seafood omelet. Topped it with delicious and refreshing mimosas. Our server was pleasant and professional and her suggestions for breakfast were on point.
Great breakfast spot, definitely worth the wait. Gluten free options available.
This maybe one of the better breakfast spots in all of new orleans. The food was amazing and uniquely New Orleans fair. Everything was flavorful. Just as with any restaurant in New orleans, if you have a party a larger than two, they will not split any checks. To get around this, we paid in advance as she took out order. Taking that aside. We thoroughly enjoyed two chicks. I highly recommend it to anyone who's visiting.
Quirky little spot off the beaten path. Well work going to check out though. The food is awesome and reasonably priced. I didn't try any of the smoothies or juices, but my wife had the fresh squeezed OJ and have it take reviews. The coffee was kind of bland though. The food was outstanding! I had the crab cake Benedict, it was the perfect mix of spice and vinegar and seafood and bread. Perfectly cooked too! My wife had the French toast, because she is boring :). Great experience, highly recommend.
The food here is fantastic. Great service. This is a must for breakfast didnt have lunch im sure its just as good. This place closes early however bout 3pm ... Or we would have eaten here more..
The place is friendly and food very good, green blast smoothie is delicious. Staff is helpful and lovely to hear all speak in Spanish to customers who speak Spanish. I recommend their crab cake with poached eggs.
It does not get any better than this for breakfast!!! Sit down and enjoy the food and the incredibly nice staff!
Papa’s French Toast & Crab Cake Benny with tea. There might be a bit of a wait in the morning, but they estimate waiting times quite accurately. Our wait was 20 minutes. The interior is casual & the service is prompt & efficient. Food is excellent & well-presented.
Got here at 10am on the weekend, had to queue outside for 20 mins, and after being seated it took over an hour to get served and eat so be aware you'll be here for a while. Crepes were thick/more like pancakes and were really dry. French toast looked amazing though.
Great place to grab some decent breakfast. Just not a big fan of the toasts.
Came to town for a wedding and I am so upset that I didn’t come the first day we were in town, that way I could have come back a second time. The items on the menu seemed good and the taste did not disappoint. The staff is nice and welcoming. I don’t think I really need to say more.
Food was great! I had the French toast and the potato bowl 😋😋😋. All the workers were nice and the service was pretty fast seeing how packed the place was on the morning of a game day. You gotta try this place out!
What a lovely cafe. The servers are the nicest people and the food is awesome! Tried the French toast and it was the BEST! Fluffy bread, a crunchy caramelised exterior with a surprise crunch from the cornflakes in the batter. A must try!
The price is super reasonable too!
Great find in the CBD (Central Business District)/Downtown. Little bit of a wait (10 minutes) for Sunday Breakfast but nothing like the wait the the French Quarter.
I had the "Under the Sea" Omelet with rye toast and grits (or potatoes). The omlette uncle's crab meat, shrimp, brie cheese, bell peppers, green onion, and is garnished with dill. The price was $12.99, which makes this a great breakfast value.
**************--***************
Went back the next day and had Papa's French Toast, a side of ham, and the Ginger Sun Juice (apple and grapefruit juice with ginger). Great breakfast. They put a crunch on the brioche that is amazing.
Its is a nice breakfast place. Sweet staff and try the sweet tea! Delicious ❤
Oh and CBD- stands for Central Buisness District...😅 not the other thing...I'm from the West Coast so it's easy to think the acronym means something else.
We were in New Orleans celebrating our 5 yr anniversary and my 42nd bday. This was the 1st place we ate just by way of googling breakfast near our hotel and reading reviews. The shrimp and grits were by far the BEST in NOLA! I also had a pancake. My husband had the french toast...OMG!!!! AND THE MOJITO!!!! Let me just say we finished our weekend out here as well. The staff was so sweet. Our waitress was great but for some reason I cant recall her name. Charge it to my mind (the drinks) and not my heart bc you were a huge reason why we doubled back... i just remember she was from Philly originally. In my opinion, this was by far the BEST, #1 restaurant we ate at in NOLA❤️
Absolutely adorable cafe. Everything was delicious and came out super quick!!
I really enjoy the food and the atmosphere, everything was delicious and fresh
A nice little breakfast and lunch spot in New Orlean’s CBD. The food feels a bit hit or miss here, unfortunately. My eggs benedict was good overall. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bread was fluffy, and the potatoes it came with were delicious. The ham served with the dish was cut very thick, almost to an unappetizing size. Sadly, it threw off the entire dish. My friend ordered a chicken po’ boy which he said was good. I think this place is worth trying out, but it’s not necessarily something to write home about.
1st visit to New Orleans, found the best brunch spot on a whim! Staff, amazing....food, double awesome with stars! A special thanks to Catrina (sp) for the convo, directions, and overall energy. Definitely worth the 10 min wait!
Wonderful breakfast and the grits were amazing!
I am thinking there was a big rush after the game and the greeter was rather put out to seat two more groups of 1-2 people. The server we had was amazing and a hard worker. Food was ok.
Delicious! Great service and great food. We arrived as soon as they opened and watched the restaurant quickly fill up. The papa French toast were served hot and crunchy, bacon was crispy and the head were perfect. Our lattes were so good I ordered another. They also serve cocktails.
The grits and vegetable bowl is now my favorite food. Good god. So creamy, the vegetables were so well cooked. I have not been able to reproduce this.
Great restaurant! My French toast was dipped in an egg batter, dredge in crumbled corn flakes, and then lightly fried. I.t was lightly dusted with powdered sugar and bananas and strawberries. A small cip of syrup accompanied my French toast. Their bacon is thick cut, and their orange juice is fresh squeezed. The best orange juice ever! Great service!
So worth the 20 or 30 min wait !! Everything we had was excellent, and flavorful! Grits were phenomenal 😋!!
Fresh and friendly!!
Besides, how can you go wrong with 2 chicks??!!
Great Service and Great Food! The best breakfast of our vacation. Thank you!
You have to check this place out for breakfast if you want really good food, a nice atmosphere and kind service. The French toast was incredible.
Very good breakfast. I had a mimosa, not the best I’ve had but good. And had veggie egg Benedict, it was very good. Looked at tasted great. Also had good and friendly staff and service. Had smoothies that I wish I had room In my stomach to order, but I ate too much eggs Benedict.
Visited this place a couple times for breakfast, had a great experience every single time. Friendly staff, good coffee, delicious French toast, pancakes and other dishes.
Cool spot long wait time during Mardi Gras, but that is to be expected. The food was good. I got the French toast and side of grits
This place is great, I was fortunate to be served by great service and they were all fantastic, so polite and respectful, and the food was wonderful as well, everything was incredibly fresh and made with love, thoroughly enjoyed this place, and I was in New Orleans for only a few days and I was super lucky to have found this restaurant 2 minutes away from my hotel!
Great place for breakfast!! I was promtly seated and brought our coffee and water. I decided to try the crab cake benadict. A friend of mine said it was very good. I have to say that it was great!! And a perfect way to start my day 😀. The service was very good. …
Simply amazing breakfast spot! Superior friendly service, very attentive to refill coffee, and offer coffee in to-go cup. Delicious food - don't pass this spot up!
Cute, bright boutique feel restaurant, and the rum battered Papa's French toast was delish!! They also squeeze their own juice and make fresh fruit smoothies.
Love these local restaurants, fantastic food and service
I think this is their other location. It was close to my hotel so I thought I'd check it out by recommendation of the concierge. Food was very good. I should have eaten in instead of taking it out. I think the place would have been fun to hang out in.
Great Cuisine! Small quint place with great service. This is fresh toast which is very yummy! Dipped in cornflakes with fresh fruit on top. Top picks are the Under the Sea omelet, BBQ shrimp and grits, and French toast for the win!
The grits, please order the grits! The line was out the door but we only waited about 30 minutes. Food came out really fast. Service was attentive and I will definitely visit again.
Delicious food, homemade like your momma mike make! Breakfast there was a treat. Their smoothies are pretty tasty too. Just sayin'. I had an eggs bennie sandwich and some potatoes.
Really great food at affordable prices. Excellent bloody mary and staff were extremely friendly. Would highly recommend.
I needed this! Fresh smoothies, fresh fruit, good coffee, great atmosphere. Our waitress suggested the French toast and I was not let down. Go early, less of a crowd
The shrimp and grits blew my damn socks off. Ashley is such a sweet and fun server. If there’s a line it goes quick. Stick around!
FLAVOURFUL FOOD! It was all SO good and worth the WAIT! Rhe gritsand mashed potatoes were like no other 😊! The service WAS SUPERB and very friendly as well!! …
No other Grits are this amazing! Crab cakes, Bloody Mary... coffee... Omelettes... It is all absolutely fantastic! Add in the brilliant staff and it makes for the best breakfast/brunch in #nola
Went every morning we were there. Service and food is awesome!!! Super friendly staff.
What the heck. This place goes so hard. Absolutely delicious food and incredible service. Really enjoyed our time here
BEST RESTAURANT IN NEW ORLEANS!! I ordered the “Build your own omelette” with Turkey, spinach, bell peppers, and mozzarella cheese with a side of roasted potatoes and grits… I literally have never tasted something so amazing!! The juice is fresh! I had grapefruit juice, and it was SPLENDID!! Service coming back! I highly recommend!!
Lovely breakfast place. Egss benedict, hatchery sandwich, nutella pancake with a bit of a cinnamon twist, mixed juices. All lovely! The place is also very cozzy and nice 👍🏼 …
Pretty good food for a total reasonable price. Huge, delicious choice of great breakfast and lunch options. The cucumber lemonade is gorgeous on a hot day - and you get unlimited refills on that!
Where they have to improve is the service. 'Welcome lady' appeared bored and didn't help the remaining service folk although they were very busy. And when we got our food, we got our meals but no cutlery... Apart from that it was still a good experience
This place is just great!!! Came in at busy time, with impressive speed and food accuracy, service and attitude made it a experience super. The food quality phenomenal, place is very clean and cozy.
The service here was excellent! Our food was very good as well. Highly recommend their breakfast. If you are a tourist who, like us, realized they have not yet consumed a fruit or vegetable here in the land of bread, rice and seafood try out their smoothies and juices!
Lovely staff and so friendly! Delicious smoothies, healthy options for lunch and breakfast but they also have the comfort plates! Great dining option.
Great local Cafe recommended by the locals and Hotel staff. We had 2 breakfasts here and they serve a great Local menu that is wholesome with a quick and friendly service.
The atmosphere was amazing. The food was superb. The service was excellent in every way. We highly recommend.
The most delicious eggs benedict I've ever had veggie eggs benedict and ham👍😋😋 with orange mint sweet tea
This place was amazing for breakfast! But do yourself a favor and go as soon as they open at 8 am .. we went right when they opened but by 830am they were packed. The French toast is amazing 🤩 …
Had a simple scrambled eggs with bacon & toast and nutella banana crepes. I felt the crepes were off not sure if they were undercooked or what but it was like rubbery. Other than that the food was on the healthier side with organic juices and smoothies; had decent service.
I always stop here for breakfast whenever I come to NOLA. Coffee is good. Service is great. Food is very good..
I'm writing this review after the second time I've visited this place and it's like a hidden gem. First thing I would like to mention is the consistency of service and food quality. All the food I've tried is fresh and you can taste the nutrients in the fresh juices lol. I love that they are very quick between ordering and serving your food. I'll definitely recommend this place for brunch and lunch.
A fantastic small bustling cafe made special not only by the great menu/food, but by the staff. Meet Nayomi, just about the happiest most upbeat person on our planet Earth!
Try the crabcake Benedict
Nice small place. The service is great and the food was delicious. The healthy juices selection is outstanding.
Great atmosphere and food! And great service! A bit expensive.
All the food is good. The staff are great. It's popular so plan a short wait.
Really good food...the type of food that's so good you don't waste time taking a picture, you just dig in. Had the Papa's French toast, two scrambled eggs, and turkey. Thought the turkey was turkey sausage or bacon but the waitress said no, it was a slab of roasted turkey. This thing was great! I'm a French toast man also so I really enjoyed that. Lots of syrup came with the sizable brioche bread as well as bananas and strawberries on top. Waitresses called me "love" and "baby" and I was nice and happy. Highly recommend. Great OJ too.
Excellent food, outstanding. And great service. A must stop
Fresh, hot coffee and tasty breakfast! Interior was bright and colorful, staff were friendly and helpful. The portions were larger than expected, and the side order of roasted potatoes was equivalent to eating an entire potato.
Eclectic atmosphere and food. The serving sizes are great, the staff is super friendly and accommodating.
Really good food, nice atmosphere and nice staff. We enjoyed the food. Just a little high price.
Very friendly staff and wonderful food. Strongly recommend guys to visit!
The host (pretty African American lady) was very nice and greeted everyone. About. 10 min wait outside because there isn’t a true waiting area. No problem. I was seated and the waitress was very nice and helped me pick out an amazing fresh juice drink. The food was good and fresh, just to a little longer than expected. The main drawback was that I sitting literally at the first table by the entrance/host area and the cold draft was kinda annoying. I’d definitely recommend this place!
Great food and friendly staff. The only downside is it is so popular it may take you a while to get in.
I had the Cafe breakfast with side of fruit. Me and my friend was visiting from Virginia and the food here was amazingly great. Wish we would have been coming here to eat breakfast. The waiter Ashley was great. Everyone worked together I see. Great atmosphere I will be returning again..
Excellent food and service. Many flavors of mimosas - All freshly squeeze juices!
Great service, yummy food. Clean and friendly envir. Good spot for breakfast.
A must do! I’m not a foodie and I am EXTREMELY picky about what I eat and how it’s prepared. But everything was amazing, including the service. The grilled Turkey breast is …. Just wow! I could go on and on. Just go!
Service AMAZING! Food great! It has a great energy perfect for families. Will visit every time I'm in New Orleans
A delicious omelette with turkey, Gouda cheese and veggies! Yummy! Also roasted potatoes and rye toast! Loved it!
My new favorite breakfast spot with the friendliest staff in the CBD!
Do not pass on the grits bowl.
The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! AS WELL AS THE SERVICE!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Great food, great service. Place to check out if you visit or live in New Orleans.
I love this place the food is always good….try the cucumber basil lemonade. They have free refills…..who does that? I came back the next two days just to have it.
Amazing service and food. Kindest servers in NOLA and helpful. There is a reason it is always busy.
We went for breakfast. It seems to be a quite popular place. We had a very nice experience.
Lovely breakfast and the nicest staff ever!
I normally eat a hearty but not heavy breakfast and was worried I would only find greasy, fried options to start my travels and was so happy to find Two Chicks Café.
They have a great menu of traditional breakfast options with a Creole twist as well as healthier options with a Creole twist. I went for the Chia Pudding which I can't say I have ever had before. It came with banana and walnuts beautifully arranged around the bowl. I wish I had taken a photo it was so pretty. Though I was worried it would be too sweet, it turned out it wasn't sweet enough but I enjoyed it with the added fruit. I also asked for a side of peanut butter.
My companions had more traditional breakfasts and everyone agreed the Cheesy grits were the best of anywhere we went. Bottomless coffee (for me) and lovely Cucumber-infused lemonade for the others and it was such a tasty breakfast.
The staff were literally the nicest people we met and made us feel welcomed and said we could stay until 2pm if we liked. I will go back for all of the above time and again. GREAT PLACE!!!
All the way around fantastic. Delicious food and drinks. Great service by Sam, loved her recommendations. Clean everything/bathroom and overall great vibe. 10/10 would recommend
Delicious breakfasts. So good we went twice during our 4 day stay! Fresh food, fun vibe, delicious fresh squeezed juices..great coffee. Worth the wait...there was a small line both times we went.
Great place to eat, the food was wonderful, could’ve used a little seasoning though. A very inviting atmosphere as well!
Went in on a whim after smelling the food from outside, and really enjoyed it. Had the Under the Sea Omelette. Big portions. Enjoyed every bite.
Great breakfast spot. We ate there 3 mornings on our last trip. Be ready for friendly service and great food.
Super delicious and fresh food with funky and comfortable atmosphere 👌 😍😋 😄. Tip: Try the creamy and delicious grits, you can write home about that one.
Some of the best food we've had in a long time. Very reasonable prices. Wait was like 20 minutes, but very very worth it.
This place is the bomb! The grits, oohhhh the grits! The seafood omelet! So good! Just try it out because you will NOT be disappointed.
This was my first time here and the food was amazing. I had the grits bowl. Scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage and veggies. Best breakfast I had in a long time
This chic and chill cafe is just the best stop for a light but fully satisfying breakfast. The staff are super friendly and entertaining conversationalists, and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious with a unique flare. Absolutely a must stop if you're staying nearby!
Delicious food! We went back the next day!
FRESH SQUEEZED mimosas - peach, mango, strawberry, orange. DELICIOUS!
Breakfast (pancakes, fruit, sausage, potatoes, bacon & ham) was served fast and hot! Quite affordable.
Don’t waste time searching reviews. Just go! They have such a relaxing ambiance. Everything about the experience was great!
Staff is amazing, like a little family. Ashley is the sweetest very attentive. We went there Every morning for a week. Tried the shrimp & grits, traditional benedict, papa french toast, hatchery, & the po- boy... Everything was delicious! 😋 you won't regret it. Love this little spot!
Amazing place for breakfast! Best I ever had in NOLA. In addition the waitresses are so nice and always taking care of the customer and this with a smile all day long. If there is a lot of people service may take a little longer but it is worth waiting.
Extremely Delicious food. Had deliver by uber eats. Missing a couple of items but no sweat as refund for them was completely painless. 10/10 will eat food from here again.
Quick and delicious. None of the crazy wait and hubbub of the places popular with tourists. Fresh squeezed mimosas were delicious. Must get creamy grits.
We came here for brunch while at the Final Four and it was DELICIOUS! I got the veggie eggs Benedict with fruit side and my husband got the crab cakes Benedict with Gruyère grits. The eggs were perfect and the creole hollandaise were spot on. The coffee was hot and the servers attentive. We had to wait in line to get in, but it was well worth it.
On a Saturday morning expect a 45 minute wait that is worth every second.
Go with the shrimp and grits and the French toast.
Also the Green Blast is a refreshing beverage and I encourage you to order on for the table and one for the road.
Loved this for a yummy lunch spot! Catrina was an awesome server and gave us great recommendations.
Tasty, hot and welcoming atmosphere. The potato bowl with scrambled eggs, gouda cheese and bacon was filling and delicious. I also had a wonderful vanilla latte from the attentive waitress
Great food and service. I had the under the sea omelette, while my companions had the barbeque shrimp and grits. Both dishes were delicious and served promptly. There was about a 15-20 minute wait time to get a seat. Hostess and servers were all super friendly.
Really good breakfast.
Get there early to do the line, but worth the wait
You go in, get a menu and then go up to the cashier counter to place your order then go back to your table. A waiter bring your order to your table.
That was the best shrimp and grits I ever had. The flavors and presentation was amazing. Staff very friendly
We loved this place so much we went back our 2nd time this morning and had the same yummy juice and some 🦀 🍳 Benedict. Soooooooo yummy. Great food great service great atmosphere …
Visited for breakfast and had the Papa’s French Toast, and it was really good. Will definitely try again whenever I visit New Orleans again. Staff was super friendly as well.
Definitely a must try! Shrimp and grits is a no brainer here 😋🤤 …
Awesome service. The food is amazing and the drinks pair great with the food.
We ate here this morning and everything about our experience was AMAZING!!! Our server, Ashley, was so friendly, very efficient, made sure we always had drinks and were satisfied with our meal. Our meal arrived very quickly. All the food was absolutely delcious!! Highly recommend eating here!
Great service lovely food would 100% recommend, shame we leave tomorrow as would of loved to come back.
Thanks
The staff were all very nice and friendly and the food was top notch as well.
Great quaint place. Great service, stay and food. Had a great breakfast. Awesome!
Everything was amazing. Recommend the bbq shrimp and grits- not a typical bbq sauce but a seasoning style instead. Mimosa and Irish coffee were strong. Omelet and smoothie were from fresh farmed ingredients.
The food in NOLA is overall amazing, and the grits here at 2 Chicks are beyond words!
Omg yes yes YES. Fabulous staff & service, adorable decor, wonderful smoothies, and the food is FANTASTIC 🙌 …
Had the farmhouse omelette and kiddos had the french toast (to go). Staff was nice. Omellete was great! Normally not a big turkey fan but was smoky and fantastic! Kids loved the french toast, wanted to give 100 stars! Mighty leaf smoothie was great as well. Overall : highly recommend!
Such a cute spot to visit for breakfast or brunch! My friend and I enjoyed everything we ordered. I ordered the banana and Nutella crepes which I completely recommend! Other crepe spots like to make their crepes extremely thin, meanwhile Two Chicks provides their customers with crepes that aren’t too thick, but are just right. The mimosa I ordered was a bit stronger than what I prefer, but I’m sure that’s not a problem for most. The food proportioning is worth the price.
Everything was fresh and delicious, I can't remember her name but our waitress was wonderful
Fantastic little spot! Great service and great food. The breakfast poboy was so yummy!
Very cozy place to have coffee with a friend. Food was tasty and delicious 😋 …
Perfect breakfast and very nice staff, will def be back!
This was our first visit at Two Chicks Cade. Can I say hands down - GO! The service was phenomenal, food was delicious, & the atmosphere was top notch! Please check this place out! Ashley was our server and she was so personable and made you feel so comfortable.
I so love this restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious, love the fresh squeezed orange juice and the grits are mouth watering.
A bit of a wait but worth it
This place is great. We had the breakfast po'boys and they were delicious. Great service, our waitress was amazing. We will definitely visit next time we are in New Orleans.
My Son and I went for breakfast for our first time and the atmosphere was so, nice and the employees were so sweet and kind ...and let me say, the breakfast was Delicious!!!! Our hats go off to the Cook. And let me tell you, we had to go back the next day. For anyone visiting this is the place to eat breakfast.... It's delicioso!!🤗🤗 …
This place is bomb. Friendly staff and food was incredible. I ordered the eggs crab cake Benedict. It was real crab (not the imitation garbage) and for an amazing price. My girlfriend ordered shrimp grits which was also delicious. We will be returning.
Great food, decent service. Very long standing waiting to be seated
I love this place visited twice before I left back to St. Louis they make there own OJ! The smoothies are so good. And the food is fantastic. 10/10 will come back!
Everything was excellent. From the freshly squeezed juice, to the seafood omelette, nothing disappointed.
Excellent food! Great service. Olga was knowledgeable and attentive. We had the the Under the Sea omelette and Papa’s French Toast. Both were delicious. The omelette was nothing short of ahhhmazing! It would be hard to be disappointed with either choice. I’ll definitely be back.
Loved the crab cake Benedict, service was outstanding, you won't be disappointed!
THE place for breakfast and the very adult coffee was amazing 👏 😋 I would make a road trip just to have breakfast here again. Everyone was very nice, staff were very attentive and made the children feel special 😊 . …
Quaint cosy restaurant. Authentic taste and style. Great food.
Really phenomenal breakfast. The crabcakes were delicious but the pancakes are absolutely the best I’ve had! I was eating off of my kids played they were so good. I highly recommend coming in for breakfast.
I came down alone as my lady was still tired from the previous day's activity. The friendly service staff helped me navigate the menu and suggested different activities for us to try while in New Orleans!
Good food, good atmosphere, nice and kind staff. I'll come back!
Food was so bomb. The creamy grits bowl was so delicious 🤤🤤🤤 would highly recommend. Overall a nice experience …
The Gouda in the omelet is ::chefs kiss:: and our waitress was super friendly. The cold brew is technically hot brewed coffee they ice, but it fooled me!
Great food and staff
Absolutely OUTSTANDING little breakfast Cafe that serves super great food! get there between 8:30-9:30 or else you'll be waiting for a table. It's not a tiny restaurant, just popular. They staff are all top notch and pricing is super fair. I'd eat here every day but then I'd weigh 500lbs.
Good place near hotel great breakfast selection and of local NOLA cuisine. Had seafood omelette with grits. Good service but missed water refill one time. Nice atmosphere relaxing. Like the cushion booth plow effect.
One of the best breakfast places, Under the Sea Omelet was excellent, lot of shrimps, super delicious. Iced mocha latte was very good. Awesome and relaxing experience!! <3
Yum is the first word. The crab cake Benedict was perfect. Spicy and flavorful, the egg was perfectly poached, on a flaky croissant. My teen loved the crepes. We also sampled a light, fluffy buttermilk pancake and a slice of crispy, crunchy French toast. The flakes they dip the bread in before cooking it were a great addition. I may have to start buying corn flakes at home so I can do that with my own French toast. Just fantastic.
So good!
People here are extremely friendly and the food is awesome
Absolutely fantastic! The restaurant is cute and has a unique ambiance! The breakfast food is on another level and your coffee is always topped off. We have already decided that we’re coming back tomorrow! Definitely recommend.
Awesome place very friendly.
and the food is amazing!!
The buttermilk pancakes were out of this world DELICIOUS, and the eggwhiches and the build your own options were fantastic! I will definitely be coming back here for breakfast the rest of my trip. It was absolutely scrumptious! If you want to get a delicious cappuccino then this place is for you. The prices were so reasonable and affordable. This is definitely the place to go!
This was by far the best lunch spot! Found this on a whim, but the food is fresh and perfectly prepared. The chicken is juicy and the servings will keep anyone satisfied. If you're looking for a good bite in the French Quarter area, this should be your spot!
Amazing french toast and omelette. Then at lunch had a turkey and goat cheese sandwich with a side salad. A nice change from fried food on Broubon St. Service was great!
Loved this eatery! The breakfast and staff were extraordinary!! Try the Green blast fresh fruit juice. French Toast was the best I've ever had!! Will be back again. Highly recommend.
Great food and atmosphere. Better than IHOP that’s around the corner.
Great place with delicious food. Our waitAshley W was fabulous. She was attentive, kind and friendly. You need to stop by when visiting New Orleans.
Delicious food!! We did the papas French toast and it was amazing! Eggs by far the best! Ashley was Amazing!! Great service, very friendly and welcoming!
Amazing brunch with good drinks and a spunky Jersey server.
The atmosphere was awesome. The food was great. Freshly squeezed juice. I’d come back every day. The host and waitress made us feel like we were the only ones in the packed restaurant.
One of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had. Fast friendly service. Nice and clean.
Great breakfast
Got a recommendation to try this place. Decided to eat here on my last day in nola. Pictures of food looked delicious, seemed like a nice place. ..waited 30 minutes to get seated... then waited another 15 minutes before I had to ask for a waitress to even acknowledge us. Ordered and waited 1hr and 12minutes for our food to even get to us. By that time I was already over the entire experience. The only thing that saved this place was the fresh squeezed orange juice, and quality of the food. I know it's Nola, and things are creole/cajun... wished they had an option for non spicy hollandaise sauce for those with food allergies to spicey food.
Not that impressed
I ordered the crepe with Nutella and bananas and it was the chewiest crepe I've ever had. Maybe there other stuff is good but I won't be back to try. The service was efficient and good if not super friendly.
I had a grit bowl. It was creamy and delicious. There was a thirty minute wait but I was with friends so I relented. Oh, they have fresh squeezed juices that go beyond basic blends.
Best breakfast food I ate while visiting New Orleans. Great service, friendly staff. Food was fresh and very well made. Go here for breakfast you won't be disappointed.
Nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious food! 😍 …
Best breakfast place in NOLA!!! Absolutely loved it
Oh yes, this was divine and delectable. My friend and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch. I am enamored of the sangria with a dash of bitters, and my freshly squeezed juice cocktail was worth the wait.
Actually, we got lucky that morning and slipped in quickly. Food is French and buttery. If you like grits, you MUST have the grits. Best. Grits. Ever. I can't wait to return!
(I think my friend has the pics. I'll try to get them and post.)
Excellent service, and reasonably priced made to order juices and smoothies
The turkey omelette was the best omelette I've ever had! I also tried the French toast and it was superb! I would definitely recommend this place.
Best brunch in New Orleans! Everything was excellent from the food to the drinks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best food around.
Friendly and cool. Great vibe for breakfast.
Two Chicks Cafe playing Two Broke Girls on TV each time we've been. The link has clicked, we like it. Great food and service, must visit.
Excellent service. Great coffee. One of the BEST eggs benedict I've ever had (get the cajun sauce!!!). Karla was awesome. Very accommodating. I wish I could eat breakfast here every day.
Food is delicious, portions are generous, and worth the wait. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing. The French toast is flaky and not overly sweet. The breakfast crab cakes are definitely worth trying.
This was my wonderful discovery today. The shrimp Poboy is delicious, the shrimps, bread, spinach salad on the side are all fresh. This place is a gem, has a classy and playful decor too. The place is clean, the staff, very charming and friendly, esp. Ashley.
Food was delicious! Service was phenomenal!
While the people were nice and the food was good our waitress never had her mask over her nose. I mentioned to the nice guy who seated us that I would feel more comfortable if she would wear her mask properly. She continued to wear it below her nose. So I think I will wait until the pandemic is over to return.
Food was amazing and the staff and atmosphere were awesome!
The food was so good. Would absolutely eat here again
We loved it!
Excellent breakfast spot. Fresh squeezed orange juice is exactly that - and the veggie Benedict was delicious. Eggs were also prepared well - scrambled, poached and over easy - everything was perfect.
Awesome staff and the ambience makes for the perfect Southern brunch destination. I hosted my birthday brunch here w/8 girlfriends and family. I was greeted with a complimentary mimosas and energetic, friendly faces. The waitresses have awesome customer service and were very accomodating. Food is delicious, fresh and menu features a variety of vegetarian, gluten free, & savory options. My favorite dish is the smoked turkey omelet w/brie, yum! Lots of my guests were salivating over their seafood omelette. OMG and the grits... creamy, cheesy, whipped goodness!! Not to mention the birthday hat they brought me to take pictures in plus the waitress even moved tables so we could get a cool group shot. Every time I'm in town this is where you'll find me for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Thanks again ladies for yet another great experience!!
Excellent brunch place with a very nice a welcoming service !
The food was really good.
Definitely an awesome spot for Breakfast / Brunch.
It’s hard for me to get crab cakes without comparing it to Faidley’s in Baltimore but the way the crab cake Benedict goes together with the croissant and poached eggs makes it worth it. Fantastic Bloody Mary too.
Very nice service!!! Food came out fast and hott. My omelet was very good and the grits! I will be back.
The best place to have breakfast in NOLA, we had a delicious coffee and an amazing Green Blast and the Cafe Breakfast with potatoes, poached eggs and sausage with a side of fruits. Everything was to die for and the customer service was great. Definitely recommend.
This is the best brunch place ever! I can only recommend Two Chicks Cafe for people who love to eat! If you're looking for a healthy breakfast, they've got it, if you're looking for comfort food they've got that too. I'd move to New Orleans just so this was a breakfast near me all the time. Thank you so very much for a wonderful brunch! I'll be back for the best brunch in New Orleans!
Found this place out of the blue and I feel truly lucky. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was wonderful. Servers were friendly and attentive and the food and drinks were amazing. I had the Pappas french toast which was a total gamechanger, crispy and flavorful, the fruit was fresh and sweet and my freshly squeezed apple juice was to die for. Treat yourself to this establishment. I know we will be going back.
We went for brunch here because it was across the street from our AirBnB. The customer service was good but I wasn’t too impressed with the food. My friend ordered the grill cheese and it was not good at all. I think they tried too hard to put a twist to it. The bloody Mary’s were good though. I will say they good have a good selection on the menu so maybe we just had the wrong plates. I’m not opposed to trying it again if I’m ever back in NOLA. Cheers!
Great place for brunch. Very nice staff, the food is good, especially the French toast. Totally recommended!
Got seated and our order was taken but it took 41 minutes to get our food. Probably a fluke as our food was awesome and patrons kept spilling in. I regret not taking pictures of our food.
The grits! The grits were the best I’ve had. So creamy and tasty. Everything was great and the staff was friendly and inviting.
Food was delicious, were able to get in and out quick and service was great!
Amazing!!! Orange juice squeezed fresh when ordered. Food delicious! Kickin chicken omelette was so good! No wait and the service was great. Just great overall. Very happy!
Great morning breakfast. The freshly squeezed OJ is awesome.
Great omelet and french toast and fresh juice.
Great spot for breakfast or even brunch! Cappuccino was on point! Pancakes are perfection, flavorful omelette and smoothie was great! Attention and vibe are excellent!! Definitely a must !
AMAZING breakfast experience. Didn't see this on Google maps; saw it as we were walking along the street our last day in NOLA. Great menu choices and prices (full bar and REAL cappuccino). No ridiculous lines or reservations required. Would have eaten here for breakfast everyday if we had known about it on day one.
The crab cake eggs benedict is, amazing! The staff was very friendly as well.
Great breakfast! Great service! Breakfast Po Boy is awesome! So it's the French toast!
The quality of the food is AMAZING. We had the Under the Sea Omelet and Papa's French Toast. The grits and fresh juices were amazing as well. I give this place a perfect 10
Great staff, food, and environment! Loved it for brunch!
Had high expectations for the omelet. However, the bacon inside were mainly the "fat" pieces of bacon. The mushrooms & spinach were good. A little disappointed hence the 4 stars
I can always tell how good a place is by their pancakes, they were delicious!
Awesome food and service.. will be back
All women restaurant. Good food and coffee.
Lovely place for breakfast, food is good, especially the French toast and grits. Nice music very cozy.
Great breakfast! Everything fresh, good customer service
Very good food and very nice staff
Breakfast was delicious, service was amazing. Group of 6, seated immediately and servers were attentive without being over the top. Would definitely recommend this boutique style breakfast venue.
Great food and service excellent.
LOVED THIS PLACE.... they are working so hard to make it work, very friendly and proud! Food was great, service wonderful and the owner so hard working.... this place is hidden, but take the time to find it!!!
Food was amazing! And the potatoes are fire! Simply delish
Delicious! This is a great little spot in the city. They have amazing breakfast options with fresh squeezed juices that are to die for! Would definitely recommend.
Yum! We all enjoyed our brunch, awesome portion sizes too. The biscuit under the Eggs Benedict was absolutely phenomenal. The cajun hollandaise was the perfect amount of spice.
Delicious food and a lot of it. Most importantly, coffee. Very attentive as well. Highly recommend.
Great service and excellent value. Love this place. The crab eggs benny was beautiful.
Omg everything on the menu is delicious. I got the French toast and grits and bacon . Omg the grits are to die for ! Great customer service as well !
The BBQ shrimp and grits were fantastic and the service was fast and friendly. Can't ask for much more than that.

Excellent breakfast AND service. Bottomless coffee and fair pricing. Ashley was a great server.
Definitely a tip…great food and very friendly stuff…don’t miss it 🙂 …
The chicken philly sandwich was delicious, and I absolutely love the sweet tea. Great food, and friendly service. I will be back
Great place to come for breakfast! Food was tasty and the coffee was phenomenal! Orange juice could have been a little better though...
Super tasty and a little healthier (if you choose) take in NOLA breakfast classics. Actual silly dancing may break out depending on the throwback tunes on tap. We were tempted. I want one of these in my town!
The brunch selection was amazing - a must is the breakfast PoBoy.
Tucked away Gem. I feel confident about ordering everything here.
Let’s see… only the best breakfast I think I have ever had! I would recommend without a doubt.
Fantastic little cafe . Had 3 breakfasts there during our stay and they were all excellent. Lovely staff and fresh and tasty food at an amazing price. Highly recommended!
Love their food! I can literally eat here each day of the week. The staff are fun and corky, location is very convenient and the cozy feel makes you like family. Will be back soon!
Great food, reasonable prices, good service. Would definitely recommend.
Had a 45 minute wait...But it was well worth it..!!!...the grits omg!!..the grits!..
I live in chicago and went down south(New Orleans) for Mardi Gras. When I thought no one can make grits like me, I was shocked when I tried the grits from here. It melts right in your mouth. I had to order another one because it was so good. The waitress was very welcoming. Whenever I come back, I will definitely eat from here again.
Food and service was top notch.
Great selection at reasonable prices.
Highly recommend
Awesome! Our apartment is without power so we went into the city for coffee and breakfast and their service is great and their food and coffee is delicious. Absolutely adorable cafe.
The best place for breakfast!! Great customer service and a good atmosphere in there. My crab cake Benedict came out before I even knew it. You have to try that.
Good service!!!! Great food!!!!!!! Stop in and get some breakfast!!!
Best breakfast we had during our NOLA stay. The shrimp and grits were the best, way better than the Ruby slipper and no crazy wait
Here on vacation with group of 6 friends from Idaho and Washington state. No reservation, seated immediately, nice staff and good food.
The food is great!
Wonderful brunch. Had the eggs benedict with crab cakes and a side of grits.
The best breakfast in town! We ended up finding this place a couple days before we left and we ended up eating there those days.
Small place but awesome food and prompt service. Very reasonable prices and good portions. French toast helped absorb some of the previous evenings regrets.
This place was the BEST. Food, Staff & Atmosphere I have to find a way back. Yum yum WOW !!

The food was excellent, and the service was inviting, polite, and enjoyable. The music and feel was so on point- I'll be back!
Walked from our hotel on Canal, and it was worth every step we took. Excellent service and excellent food!!!
Slip into this gem for breakfast. Way better than the Ruby Slipper. Cleaner, friendlier, fantastically cooked, flavorful food. Over medium eggs were perfect. Going to come back for lunch.
This is the newest location. If you can, visit the other older location. The food here was just ok. I've had the other locations food and loved it. Staff here is very nice and the atmosphere is nice.
the breakfast Po boy was delicious! once we sat down they were super quick, too
Great food and great service. We had about a 30 minute wait outside other than that a great experience and honestly didn't mind the wait.
Great breakfast spot in the Central Business District. I had the breakfast sandwich with Andouille Sausage and it was delicious.
Been here several times. We love the atmosphere, great service and food. A chill spot for some amazing and affordable breakfast or lunch.
Breakfast was simple and wonderful. The wait for seating is worth it.
We come to eat with our favorite waitress Ashley and of course the Food....But the service along with the food you Can not go Wrong!
Great food. Did not find this place until we were about to leave. It's right behind the hotel. Potato bowl was great.
Amazing place. Delicious food, great people. Eat here every time we come to New Orleans. Would recommend over and over again.
Love this place most of the time. Depends on if the mean hostess is there or not. Lol. But the wait staff is friendly. Kitchen does take forever so expect to wait for at least 25/30 mins for your food.
Really good and reasonably priced breakfast in the heart of downtown New Orleans.
Very nice, very friendly service. The breakfast omlet was good too, and they have marble rye as well. I'm sold.
Very friendly service and outstanding food at an unbeatable price. Menu is short, but food is top notch.
Best breakfast place in the city. Healthy and fun, awesome service!!!!

A very pleasant atmosphere and everything looks and is tasty.
Great place, off the beaten path and easy to get a table. Food was delish and such a cute place!
So good! The French toast is amazing and so are the potatoes! Would highly recommend.
Best brunch place in area, hands down. Tons of healthy options but also indulgents as well. Can’t wait to return.
Friendly staff, great food and clean restaurant. Would definitely recommend anytime your in the area.
