Reviews of The Court of Two Sisters

Kind of a letdown overall to be honest. Scheduled a Friday afternoon jazz brunch buffet, and while the buffet food was not bad, there was barely any music being played. One man had a cello out in the courtyard where most everyone is seated, but he didn't play much or at least you couldn't hear him if he did. Definitely not what we envisioned. The food wasn't bad, but I wouldn't tell someone to seek it out. Plenty of food options including an omelette/eggs Benedict station. The Bourbon bread pudding was the standout star of the brunch! Cool bar inside when you first walk in and worth grabbing a drink. Our server was very attentive and friendly.

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful courtyard and I attended the Jazz brunch. Great music and delicious food. Loved the omelet station and the awesome cook who sang to me while making my omelet. Delectable variations from fruits, salads, crayfish, shrimp pasta, banana fosters, duck, pastries...so much that is offered. I had an amazing time and highly recommend this place as part of your NOLA experience. Tip: Make your reservation online as opposed to calling in. I called in and was told no availability for the next 3 days. I panicked. I decided to check the website and was able to reserve and secure my visit with ease and happily.

This place never disappoints. Ryan was a great server and the food was stellar. The bananas foster is great! My husband and son said the yams were the best they’ve ever had (don’t tell my mother). The jazz band was wonderful. The couple next to us was celebrating a birthday and was so sweet. You can always count on the jazz brunch at The Court of Two Sisters!

So on our third day of our New Orleans weekend trip we visited this spot on Saturday late morning early afternoon. It is strongly recommended to make reservations ahead of time. It received good reviews, so I put it on the list to visit. Now because I don't eat meat I can only comment on the options that I could eat. They did have an array of different assortments of food. There was an omelet bar, a station where you had fresh sliced roasted beef, some vegetarian options, and regular options, there was salads of different kinds, seafood options, dessert options as well as some gluten free options. But in all honesty I think people really come for the courtyard which is very nice. Unfortunately we weren't able to sit in it because it was pouring down rain. But our server, Lee, was extra nice and very accommodating. It was also nice to sit back and enjoy the music from the jazz band.

Fantastic from start to finish. Excellent food. You can tell that each recipe is carefully crafted. The service is very professional and welcoming. Dining in the courtyard was lovely. If you’re in NOLA for a quick visit like we were, this is a great option for the price and experience.

Talking to a friend who lives in NOLA, I lamented that I didn't find a nice restaurant in New Orleans where I could eat and listen to some jazz on my latest visit. Sure there are many, I just didn't find one. He organizes foodie tours in NOLA and immediately suggests this place.
I decided to stop there before heading to the airport after my cruise. The music was still playing for jazz brunch at noon so I got a plate and went for the buffet line while the waiter poured some orange juice for me.
There is an option to have an omelette or eggs Benedict made in one line, which looked delicious but I passed in favor of roast beef, duck, chicken andouille, potatoes and some kings bread. Plus whatever else looked good.
The food was fantastic, and after resolving the lack of a two person table, a deuce, a four top was made into a single space just for me. Service was excellent.
I was seated indoors, the music wasn't too loud and light drifted in from the great courtyard. I think on a gorgeous day like today seating outdoors would be great. Overall I loved the visit and give it give stars.

This was a great buffet brunch. Didn’t get as many pics as I would have liked because I got funny looks when I started taking pics😒but I got some. The food was plentiful and well seasoned, hot and just tasted like it was made with love. I tried duck for the first time😕not my favorite and I tried turtle for the first time🙂It was turtle soup and it was delicious. Then I just got other things I’d had before and just wanted to taste their version. I was not disappointed, everything was yummy, except the biscuit, no flavor, not airy nor flaky. I’d pass on the biscuits but the buffet try it all. And on top of all the delicious food you listen to a live jazz band playing while you eat. Can I just say Ahhhh My meal was $33 and I got a pineapple mimosa $10 boy was that baby strong, I was leaning on my friend when we left. Laverne was my server and she was amazing!!! Right there before I could ask. So bill came to little under $50 with taxes and after my tip just under $60.

Very expensive and not as pleasant as we expected. They were only seating in the courtyard, which was interesting to see, but uncomfortable to dine in. Cigarette and cannabis smoke kept wafting in from the Bourbon street alley. It was chilly and dark. The drink menu was more extensive than the food menu. Our party only liked one of the three entrees. The bread was cold French bread in a paper sleeve, nothing special. We ordered Bananas Foster for dessert, but the poor waitress didn’t know how to do it. There was no live music at night. Also, the floors were sour smelling and slimy walking through to the dining area and the restroom was excruciatingly small. If we go again, it will be for the jazz brunch with live music and buffet. Seems like that would be more enjoyable at this establishment.

If you are in the French Quarters make sure to stop by and check out this place. The food, people, and staffs are wonderful. There's separate times to stop by to receive some good food. There's a live band that plays music 🎶. Customers can choose to eat indoors or outdoors. There's a beautiful garden area with a fountain. The tables are a little to close indoors and be very careful sitting on the table-height chairs. The chairs slide on the floors when you try to sit on them.
Overall this is a WONDERFUL place to eat and mingle with family and friends.
I hope you enjoy the pictures 📸.
