From Lafayette and came for lunch/supper. We hadn’t really eaten all day so maybe that was some of the problem. We were waiting and stuff and perhaps we were too loud about our disappointment on the wait (it is made from scratch so I wasn’t too bothered but we got our pizza a little later then everyone else) and then the owner came and asked how everything was. That led to a loud conflict where attitude was given on both sides. Other than that, the pizza was pretty tasty and the cinnamon knot things were pretty good. The honey goat something sauce that can come with the knots was strong but not bad. It’s kind of like a unsweetened room temp cream cheese. Unfortunately, the bread was a little too hard for my braces and chewing into the bread bent my wire and my mouth really hurts. The pizza is thin crust btw. If not for the conflict, I’d say 4.5 stars. The waiter was really nice but a few mistakes were made. Someone at the table wanted pepperoni pizza and we were given cheese and once that was mentioned, nothing was done about it. And we asked for a substitution but it was not given. Not major mistakes.

Exceptional service and experience on a gloomy day around happy hour. Forget the gentleman’s name (he was an Arsenal fan) in the back bar but service was outstanding. A great happy hour with money off pies and brews. Had a couple juicifers with a vegan cheese vegetable pie. It was very good. I will be back for the service and to try the other pizzas. Recommend for a quick bite and drink across the river.

Excellent pizza. The staff was friendly and service was appropriate to a handmade pie. Not a large beer selection, but plenty of options for wine. Seating inside, at the small bar, or on the small deck. Right next door to the ferry snd walking along the jazz levy. No special view in the restaurant, but a cozy and friendly place with great pies and reasonable prices.

Great hole in the walk place. Hidden gem foe thin crust pizzas and drinks. They have $5 off on pizzas from 3-6 which is great. We enjoyed a variety of them including drinks and desserts. Dark chocolate icecream and tiramisu were amazing!! I would recommend this place to everyone. Take the $2 ferry ride from canal street ferry station and enjoy the food here.

After my second experience at Tavolino, I decided it was worth a great review. From the moment you get to the side walk you smell the flavor of soul pouring out of the building. When you walk in you see that it comes with quite a bit of heart as well. They say that Algiers is one of New Orleans best kept secrets and this spot is exactly one of the reason's why. Not only is it very cute and has fluid and comfortable dining room, bar, or patio atmosphere's, it also has the friendliness and community to accompany. The pie's are very well made and I would dare say might top some of the other heavy hitters in town (sorry Domenica, sorry Ancora) but this is a next level pizza all together. We had the Red Goat which consisted of San Marzano tomato sauce, goat cheese, whole milk mozzarella, spicy coppa salami, red bell peppers, caramelized onions, roasted garlic, parsley & honey drizzle. To say the least this pizza was AMAZING! They had some of the best wine to pair in town and recommendations from our bartender were excellent. Our bartender, Ashleigh, was very courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything she recommended was pure gold to the palette. Having Ashleigh as our guide really helped us evolve about food and life; anyone who doesn't tip her at least $20 minimum when they sit down is doing the world a disservice.

Great place! LOVE it! Came here at least 4 times over a 7 day trip. Cheap prices for great food. Best prices on beer too! Happy hour is where it's at!! Everyone here is super nice and welcoming and overall just a great atmosphere. Accommodating for our large group, but also great for just one or a couple people too! They have a bar for 21+, inside seating, and a patio.

If you want to experience excellent service and a great food, visit this hidden gem. The minute I walked in, someone greeted me and brought me to the bar. I had no intention on getting a drink, but who can turn down a drink. I've had the pizza before and knew it was excellent but the selection of cocktails is a good number for this size bar. They are not trying to over do it. Staying in their lane as you would say. There is a large wine selection, although I'm not a wine connoisseur. Make this place a stop when you get off the ferry. You won't be disappointed.

Was traveling in New Orleans, decided to take ferry to see the view during sunset. Accidentally found this little place just outside the ferry terminal. Had Risotto, very good. Atmosphere is good, like small community gathering place. Looks like gay friendly too since I saw the flag.

Had the Prosciutto Brie pizza Tuesday night. Was excellent! I was looking for pizza like this as I lived in Sicily for 8 years. Really looking forward to trying all the pizzas and other dishes! Cool people, clean place.

I left New Orleans a week ago and I'm still thinking about the ping and gorgonzola olives. I'm not even big on olives, but these are highly addictive! Our bartender (Christian, I think) was super knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. He recommended the Fungi with prosciutto and I'll definitely try that next time.. We tried the Vietnamese-style pizza and it was delicious, but now that I'm browsing their page, I regret not trying one of their specials. I love that they're always changing it up. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to NOLA!

This place has the best gluten free pizzas I have had in a long time! The gf dough seems to have tapioca or something because it's much more perfectly chewy than most places that use the same cardboardy frozen base (it was still crispy on the edges though!). The sausage is particularly good & they have an interesting Vietnamese inspired pizza too - the sauce was a little too sweet for me to get that regularly but I was glad I tried it.

Came to Algiers on the ferry with no plan. walked around and witnessed Americana at its best :) Families living their lives, a pleasure to see. Everyone was hungry and the boat wasn't showing up for another 1.5 hours, googled restaurants and Tavilino showed up, decided to go there. Nice, laid back and personal. Got seated and gave our order. Ordered pizza because of the way the restaurant smelled, Good!, 20 min later the show arrived. OUTSTANDING!! Who would have thought you could get pizza this good in a quiet, out of the way, neighborhood ? When I come back to NOLA I will take the ferry to do this again. It was that good. Kudos, Tavolino!!!

I gush about this cute little restaurant to most of my friends. The environment is great and well thought out. There are a couple booths up front that's great for families with younger kids, they have a patio out back, and an adorable bar, it's full-service with rotating drink menu, (and specials). The food is amazing and served in pretty descent proportions!!! You'll definitely leave happy. So thrilled to have Tavolino in the neighborhood.

Great pizza at a great price! The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the atmosphere. They have us a kids pizza for free right when we walked in because they had an extra. Took quite a bit of time to get the pizza (we got the carne) but well worth the wait. Highly recommend it!

I love their pizza. Thin crust, artisan style. They usually have a pasta dish, and the pasta is always fresh handmade in house. Full bar, signature cocktails...only complaint is that they don't open early enough for me...come on...I need pizza and 11am!

Lauren was a hospitality rock star!! Everything about this place was fantastic. Bar program is super on point. The pizza is divine. Fried olive appetizer, yes please. I wish we lived here so I could come more often. No matter where you end up staying in NOLA, it's worth the trip to the Point to enjoy this spot!

I had my birthday lunch here. I should have taken some pictures and post it because the food was absolutely delicious. I had veal parmesan and angel hair pasta. A very light marinara sauce on the pasta was just perfect. there was a very nice sized piece of veal, not pounded flat to where it tastes like a cardboard, but nice and meaty that you could sink your teeth into. we had an almond cheesecake slice between us girls and it was divine. Great atmosphere, friendly Waiters. Very clean and fresh-smelling. Restrooms with clean and obviously well attended to. I will go here again and again as well my friends because we love this Italian food.

Great food in the point. Try the red goat. One Pizza is good for three people if you get a salad. The salads alone are worth the trip. Service is fast and courteous. Beer is always in a cold glass. Did I miss anything?

OMG - this place is fantastic. The food is excellent and the service incredible. We had Ashley who was so sweet and on top of everything. The appetizers were yummy. The dough knots were my favorite. The entrees were really good. I will definitely be back. Also, they are on Algiers Point so the area is hurting for business since the ferries are not running. Don’t let this place slip away due to the incompetence of the RTA!!

If your visiting Algiers Point, skip the Dry Dock and go next door to Tavolino. You won't be disappointed! While not NJ/NY style pizzas, expect consistently delicious artisan style pizzas and tasty cocktails. Sometimes service is slow, usually because its a small place staffed accordingly and they do get rushes, but the pizza is so good that we don't mind the wait. We love the Red Goat and Carne pizzas and usually share one pizza and fresh salad between two of us. It's great to finally have a great place to eat in Algiers Point!

Tavolino is hands down the best pizza restaurant in the Greater New Orleans area, and probably Louisiana. Their pizzas are unique, and every one of them is delicious. Not only that, they also have a killer $5 glass of sangria and cheap drink prices. Some favorite pizzas are: Chef Mike’s Meatball pizza, the Behrman Highway pizza, the Backyard Boil pizza (which is equal to the crabmeat pizza at Dean O’s in Lafayette), the Red Goat pizza, and the Funghi pizza. I’ve been to every pizza place in the Greater New Orleans area, and Tavolino is where it’s at!

Quant little neighborhood Resturant. First time there had a burrata salad, Caesar salad with the carne pizza. A couple of glasses of sparkling Italian wine. Great experience I notice that there was a bad review from a family there with small kids. Dominos or reginelies would be a better place for small children. Great easy date night spot on the point.

I’m quite positive I have never ever had a pizza so delicious as the Margherita pizza from this restaurant in New Orleans. I’ve eaten pizza in New York, Chicago and Rome but this is the one I will always remember as absolute perfection. Algiers Point, for the win. Fantstic.

It was pretty good. It lacked seasoning in some elements, but I'm really impressed with the marinara sauce and the cocktails. My suggestion it to stick with salty elements like olives and prosciutto that lend some salt as seasoning factor. Overall however, there was a lot of fresh and clean ingredients and I'd go again.

Quaint little place just down from the ferry in Algiers Point. Wonderful pizza with progressive options. We are outside with 4 adults and four kids. The kids loved their pizza and tried to steal our garlic knots which we didn't allow because they were delicious!

Great place across the Mississippi and the French Quarter in Algiers Point. Really good pizza, nice selection of beer, liquor, and cocktails. Really liked the bar area, but plenty of other seating if your coming with kids too.

We ordered the nodi di pasta, blue raspberry italian cream soda, and the behrman hwy pizza for takeout on new year's eve. The pork on the pizza was so flavorful and well cooked. The addition of honey created a great balance of savory and sweet. We loved the honey truffle goat cheese sauce. The italian soda was delicious. Everyone we spoke to was so friendly, and we were grateful to be able to pick up the food at the takeout window. Can't wait to try other things from the menu.

What a great find. This restaurant in Algiers Point deserves to be on the map! We started with home made paté which was delicious. (We shared). This was followed by a fabulous thin crust pizza (and the dough was cooked to perfection crispness). Go there!

So this is gonna be long but our experience here was absolutely wonderful! I don't really do reviews because I just don't take the time but my boyfriend and I go out quite a bit and the customer service here was a pleasant surprise; we are New Orleans locals and decided to take the ferry over to the Westbank to have lunch and a bike ride, silly enough we forgot our bike lock key so we decided to get the food to go. Our waitress, who I unfortunately missed her name, suggested we sit at the table out front so that we can benefit from the dine-in only happy hour which I thought was sweet. We took a seat next to a gentleman sitting on the bench who decided to have a full conversation about his new founding healthly lifestyle which I of course had to entertain because that's one of my favorite topics but my partner isn't the biggest socialite and was kinda perturbed..anyway..this is my favorite part..after going in to wash our hands the waitress offered for us to bring our bikes in to the out back patio and dine out there..I thought this was just the sweetest thing! It was absolutely perfect out there and made our dining experience an actual experience! They have about 8 tables setup with cute Don Julio bottles (my fav big name tequila) with flowers that made me smile. So yeah..as you can see the whole bike thing already had me but then the food and drinks..they were all delicious! We had the fried olives..I'm not an olive fan and I loved them, the knots were awesome, the Funghi pizza was light and delicious, and our margaritas were one of the best ones we've had in awhile..we drink margaritas on a weekly basis hehe and they put GRAPES in theirs! Whaaaaaat!? So unique, we loved everything about this little place..oh she did forget our side of sauce..we like dipping pizza in marinara if it doesn't have it on it..but we didn't care to remind her since the pizza was so delicious on it's own. All the staff we ran into were sweet, welcoming, and attentive..I'd give Tavolino's more stars if I could.

I showed up starving and decided to cheat on my diet. Ordered the carbonara pasta. It was about 1/3 of the portion that I expected. Quite small. The flavor was excellent, but just needed more volume for $12. Luckily, my buddies ordered pizzas and I got to have a slice from a couple of them. All the apps we had were pretty good. The pizzas are thin crust and artisanal and pretty great too.

Everything here is amazing! Amazing staff, amazing cocktails (watermelon cilantro jalepeno margarita) and a mind-blowing Fungi Pizza!!! We also had the amazing Aroncini (sp?) Balls. We are not fans of olives, but we saw several tables getting the olive appetizer as well.

We love this neighborhood pizza lounge! Tavolinos serves the best thin crust pizza around! The margarita is a classic and one of my faves. For something a little more wild, the Odyssey pizza is perfect with that goat cheese and olives🤤. When I want a healthy meal they have a pretty delicious arugula salad and I always get a tiramisu to-go, even if it "don't look pretty " it always taste like a drwam!!!

When we return home our adventures have historically been on the Eastbank. My daughter who now lives in Algiers recommended Tavolino's. We tried several appetizers and two different pizzas. EVERYTHING was delicious! Additionally the staff was awesome! We will be making this a must visit from now on. PS: my cousin just said she wishes we had left overs!LOL
