Reviews of Saint John

This place was the highlight of our NOLA trip!
I brought my mom here for dinner for her birthday while visiting from Texas. I absolutely love the change of pace the moment you walk into this restaurant. We chose to sit at the chefs table and it was the best decision we could’ve made!
The head chef and su chefs were very personable and made the evening that more enjoyable, on top of the delicious food!
I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know visiting the area.

Best dinner of our trip. When booking a dinner reservation
at Saint John for our recent trip to New Orleans, I figured it
would be good. But, didn't expect it to be THIS good! The
flavor combinations and execution were perfect.
Hot Shrimp appetizer 5/5 - shrimp served over fried green
tomatoes and served with a corn chow chow. Amazing
Fish entree 5/5 - served with rice and a shrimp. Large
portion. Every bite was a flavorful patty in my mouth.
Baked macaroni w/ red gravy 5/5
Cocktails 5/5
We sat the counter in front of the kitchen. Definitely
recommend if there are only 2 of you.

We loved the food and the atmosphere.
This review is way overdue but the good impression was long lasting. Despite an issue with the air conditioning we still enjoyed our visit to Saint John. Well made drinks, even better food, and friendly staff. The manager was at the bar scheduling and gave great recommendations on the menu and awesome conversation. Pictured is the pork belly which was delicious. Generous portions made us have a doggy bag which we volunteered to share with a homeless man. I am certain he ate well. The smothered Turkey necks are a must! 5/5 stars!!
Ashley
Absolutely loved this place! The food, service, and atmosphere was perfect for a Saturday brunch. I ordered the Baked Devil
Crab appetizer and the Shrimp Boat for my meal. Both dishes were fresh and some of the best seafood I have tasted in New Orleans. I highly recommend if you are in the area and are looking for a cute brunch spot.
Nola Mech
The service is A1 are should I say Andrew number one. The host was just as nice. The turkey necks was not my favorite nor was the Grits I had for Brunch. The Oysters was magnificent and I would go again just for the oysters!!!
Aric Anderson
Went here for dinner on the advice of an uber driver. Definitely should have tipped him better because this restaurant was fantastic. Everyone's food was spectacular. Everyone from the staff that we interacted with was super welcoming and professional. The dining room focuses on the open kitchen so you can watch the pros at work. Great ambiance. I will definitely return.

We had an amazing meal and incredible service here. The manager came out and checked on us, and after I left they texted me that I forgot my umbrella! This is a gem in the quarter, the food is really exciting and creative. The duck popper and deviled crab are must try’s!
Amanda Wang
I had a great time and meal here with my girlfriends. From the drinks, ambience, bathroom(clean big marbled themes spacious), food flavored seasoning, server attention, kitchen concept, to the appetizers and entrees, 10/10.

This is was my first time at Saint John and it wouldn’t be my last night. I sat the kitchen table and the cooks kept me entertained. I had to decided to get their revilion Christmas dinner. Overall the dinner was really good. All dishes had different favors in it.
Karla Perez
The 4 of us enjoyed an unbelievable New Year’s experience at St. John. The 3 young hostesses at the front were incredibly gracious, Kyle, the manager, assisted us with the perfect table location, our lovely waitress was attentive and amazing. Jason the bartender, made all of our drinks to order and was great. We had a chance to meet Chef Cook whom, regaled is with plans of his newest business endeavor. And let’s not forget the food. All of our dishes including 3 appetizers, a whole snapper, the duck, and 2 filets were on point. Looking forward to returning in the future!

After several failed attempts to find a time to eat dinner here, this restaurant lived up to and exceeded my expectations. They accommodated a large party for a birthday dinner, and despite the large group, the service was fantastic. The food was also incredible; the short rib and seared duck were favorites. Don’t underestimate the sides; the corn on the cob and dirty rice were good enough to come back for on their own. Although they had AC issues which were out of everyone’s control, we still had an amazing time, and I’m already looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu.

Saint John had a very good vibe coming the minute you walked in the restaurant. Bartending staff were expert mixologists as you would expect for Nola. And that Manhattan was oh so good. I had a shrimp appetizer that had a cacophony of flavor. Feeling decadent, I went for the short rib and it was delightful. Great atmosphere, good food and drink no hassles. Just what you want when visiting Nola.
Brian Abel
Great atmosphere and amazing food! I had the pork chop(s) with greens. The rice that came with it was like a song, it started out with a nice flavor and then the after taste crescendoed into a beautiful climax.
rob ryan
Great food here. Shrimp remoulade on fried green tomatoes, incredible. CHICKEN & SHRIMP MAQUE CHOUX — amazing. Filet mignon came a little rarer than I ordered it but flavor was great. Upscale classy ambience, friendly staff.
Lori Osborne
Absolutely loved this place! True, authentic New Orleans food cooked to perfection. I was concerned I wouldn't like most of the dishes, but I was very pleasantly surprised! I was planning to go "safe" with the duck, but the way Alyssa explained the gulf fish, I had to try it. And it was DELICIOUS, especially with the cantelope sauce and wine pairing Alyssa recommended! I was also sure I wouldn't like the mac&cheese pie, but again loved it! Great meal, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Omar Saleem
Had the deep fried fish of the day (Trout on this day) which was immaculate and very well done. The Creole Court-Bouillon complimented the fish well and was a unique taste to the palate. The ambience and the knowledgeable, kind staff made this a cherished evening. Would highly recommend.
Kate Nilsen
Dinner here was positively delightful. Cocktails, apps, entrees, desserts all to gush about. You have to get the brown butter corn and the baked deviled crab. The shrimp and fried green tomatoes were so good and the friend who ate the duck and another who ate the daube cleaned their plates! The peanut butter pie was Amazing!
E S
Place had a great ambiance. If you're sitting upstairs, you will have to deal with the street noise and weed smell from time to time. Great service and food was good. You will be in a food comma after. Drinks were a little off, very strong tasting. I guess the names should have been a warning..🤷🏽♂️ 😄 Overall, 👍
Karen Munis
Got a recommendation from a local and we could not have loved this restaurant more! Amazing space, great music, attentive and professional staff and OMG the food! We had an awesome night - thank you
Joshua Grippo
What a great meal! My partner and I split the garlic ceaser salad, pork belly cassoulet, and the baked macaroni and cheese. It was way to much food, so we boxed what was left and got a to go order of the turkey necks to round out a meal for later. The chefs table and matching bar are gorgeous. I am glad to have a new establishment that lives up to the neighborhood and the space that it occupies. I was also informed that they are doing balcony dining. For cocktails we got the saintly Sazerac and the Kreyole 75. Both drinks were well balanced and refreshing.
Monsieur Prince
One of the best meals I've had in quite a while. I had the Maque Choux and it punched me in the face it was so delicious. The place was booked up so we had to sit at the bar but the bartenders were amazing even though 1 of them was training. I normally hate lemon pie or cake but their Ice box Lemon pie and it blew my Sox off! I highly recommend this amazing spot if u r even in Nawlins. The ambiance was great with their selection of music and the nicely dressed crowd.
Frank Furgal
Fantastic spot in the French Quarter. It's clean and fresh and the food is very well done. The burger was cooked to medium rare just the way I like it. The fries are thin and crispy. The white chocolate bread pudding is probably one of the best bread puddings I ever had. We have been here several times for brunch and lunch. We are never disappointed.
Perry Gilliam
First meal in our days-long food & drink-centric trip to the Big Easy. Phoned ahead - which I’d definitely recommend on a Friday night. The meal did not disappoint. Rather, it set the bar high for all meals to follow.
Personally, I found the drink menu limited. But it’s New Orleans. Throw a stone.
Sonia Taylor
Quite easily one of the best meals I have had in a long time. From start to finish, Saint John's did not disappoint. We started with he turkey necks (delicious) and the oyster appetizer which was also ridiculously good. My fiancé had the duck (cooked to perfection) and I had the fish of the day which was served with the creamiest grits and nice big shrimp. Service was also very good, and attentive. 100% would tell anyone to put this on their list in NOLA, we will definitely be back on our next trip!
M St. Julien
We had a reservation for 6:30pm, at the beginning of the dinner rush. Our server, Alyssa, greeted us, shared the specials for the evening and patiently answered our questions about the cocktails. We ordered the Hot Crawfish Remoulade (served over fried green tomatoes - delicious!), the Deviled Crab (crab stuffing baked in the shell) and the Smothered Turkey Necks (tender, large serving). The entrees included the River Road Shrimp Étouffée (good flavor/light roux?), the Double Cut Pork Chop (like butta!) and the Select Gulf Fish which was Redfish served in a Garlic and Artichoke Puree (OMG, so good!). The sides were the Baked Macaroni Pie and Vegetable du Jour - fried, seasoned slices of corn on the cob - YUM! Bread Pudding served with three spoons ended our meal. Alyssa was a fantastic server and Alissa, the manager, came by to check on our after the meal. This is a lovely place to enjoy a wonderful meal and good cocktails. You can sit at the bar in the front or the counter in the back and watch the chef and others create the dishes. Being in the French Quarter, parking will be the challenge, as usual.
Jasmine White
Had a nice date here. The food was amazing; thoroughly enjoyed the turkey necks, mac pie, and bread pudding. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.
Keilly Trujillo
It took a lot of searching to find probably THE best restaurant in the French Quarter. It also might be one of the only modernized and high end restaurants in the area. The staff is very friendly. The drinks are delicious, but the highlight is definitely the food. The restaurant is formatted to where your table will face the kitchen, where they cook everything in front of you. The kitchen staff is extremely talented and well coordinated. They are a pleasure to watch. We ordered the caesar salad as well as the oyster, shrimp, and the turkey appetizers. Everything was incredibly tasty and rich with flavor. It was so nutritious, filling and satisfying. Oh and the bathrooms are beautiful as well.
Megan Docteur
We went during a weekday around noon. The service was a little on the slow side but my goodness it was worth the wait. We got a little bit of everything and enjoyed it all. The surprising highlight though was our Caesar salad. It’s always a pleasure seeing the chefs cook your meal right in front of you, makes you appreciate the art. Would definitely go back.
Whitney Stewart
The best meal I’ve ever had, in New Orleans and in the world, and I have managed five star resorts and worked in some of the best restaurants in New Orleans. Do this. Daren is a culinary genius. Eat here!
Nathan Currin
I visited Saint John for the first time last week, and it was a great experience. The food is incredible! Highly recommended. I had the short ribs along with the Mac and cheese and one of their salads. Everything was delicious. The service was also on point - overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I'll be back next time I'm in New Orleans!
Jesse Scanga
Awesome restaurant. Best corn I’ve ever eaten in my life. Turkey necks were so tender and delicious. Only thing I didn’t love was the gumbo in which the roux was cooked a little too dark for my taste. Nevertheless I would come here often if I was local.
Steve Hajec
I think it's worth the price. The oyster appetizers were very good. Also the duck and fatback were great. The service was superlative and the atmosphere was above expectations. Please keep up the good work!
hung dao
Wow what An amazing experience! From apps to dinner! My wife who hasn’t tried a lot of different foods was open to trying oysters and that fried oyster for the appetizer was mind blowing the creaminess of the sauce and the perfectly fried oysters was to die for!!! Highly recommended maybe my fav place for my overall weekend
Michael Graham
Food was good but if you grace yourself with st John and have a sense of humor and taste for life ask for Emily. Absolute best waitress we've ever had. We are getting married new years eve and she will be attending
Partha Suresh
Great food. Awesome service. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend.
CJ Drozd
Ambiance is good. Menu has good selection and the food generally tastes good and seems quality but everything was insanely salty. I was with a group of four who had multiple dishes and sides and all of them were over seasoned.
TB
The service was poor, however the attentiveness of the manager somewhat made up for it. The food was just ok. Our issue was the vibe of the space. They were playing loud music that didn’t match the atmosphere nor the cost of the dishes. If this were a dive bar, I would have expected this environment.
Jeremy Wood
Don’t walk, run! This place had the best cocktails and food I’ve had on my trip to New Orleans. The price point is well worth the experience and quality of food. Can’t wait to come back for more.
Lauren
Polite staff was the best part of the experience. Caesar was so-so, duck and pork belly dish was uninspired, and we never got the limoncello we ordered so I have no clue how that was... Space seems too big for the level of staffing, it could've used another bar (or bartender). I won't be back.
Dave Seeman
The bar is high in New Orleans and this place was on the expensive side for the quality of food and service. You’ll enjoy it but for the money we had better elsewhere. Granted it’s fairly new so maybe it’ll get a bit better over time.
Rich
Amazing experience at the chef’s table. Every dish we tried was incredible and the drinks were wonderful!
Definitely recommend trying out Saint John!
Blake Smietanski
Gem of a restaurant. Very non-fussy, with elevated food experience and exceptional service. I love Coop's 2 doors down, but Saint John won me over on this trip.
Justin Ingold
Chef Darren Porretto knows what he’s doing! Oysters Saint John and Hot Shrimp Remoulade to start, Bacon Fat Seared Duck, Baked Deviled Crabs, Redish and Trout - all were killer. The baked macaroni pie with red crazy set it all off as a side and we tried every dessert because we couldn’t get enough.
Maya Glinberg
We found this place unexpectedly, without previous knowledge and were impressed. We came back next day and were very happy. Great place, great atmosphere, great food, great service - 5 stars!!!
Joann Marks
Wish i loved it more. Food good but not outstanding like gris gris. Loved the oysters 3 ways. Would go back for that maybe.
Jasper van de Kant
Very nice place. There is an open kitchen. The chefs are cool and steady preparing nice food. We enjoyed it!
Don Travis
Fantastic and flexible! We had an amazing meal with wonderful service! The whole gulf fish was spectacular!
Saska Albright
This new joint from Eric Cook of Gris Gris has it all going on. Great flavors and chill vibe, worlds but only blocks away from the French quarter.
Martin Kleinbart
What a fantastic experience. It was the best place we ate at during our trip. Fantastic service, well made drinks and amazing food. We shared several appetizers and sides. The highlights of those were the oysters Saint John and the greens (best I ever had). I had the duck entree. We split the two desserts they had, bread pudding and lemon icebox pie. Everything was exceptional
Lee Vaasjo
Mind blowing and mouth watering brunch experience. Pic of Oyster Sardou. I’m honored to have been the first to try this dish on there first opening for brunch. Thank you Chef.
Charles Conti
Sam is the perfect manager. Reminiscent of Ms. Joanne at Upperline, she engages with guests to make them feel very welcome. Keith in the open kitchen takes great pride is his and his team's creations and often checks with the guests to ensure they are satisfied with the food. Anna was a great waitress, friendly, attentive and graceful. The food was excellent. The seared gulf redfish was cooked quickly to sear the outside and keep the fish tender and moist. The oyster appetizers was a unique offering visually and in taste. I'm sure we will be back.
Myia
The food was amazing, as were the cocktails!! I would definitely eat there again!
Maggie Gram
Service was lovely and food was great! Little disappointed by the braised ribs though, they were almost all fat. Really wish I got the etouffee.
Brian D. Hoffman
Best meal of my entire life. Unpretentious, perfectly executed. Like if your mom were an expert chef. Turkey necks are a must.
Kevin Gilliard
Great restaurant! Food was delicious, best gumbo!! Bar Manager was super nice and cute! Definitely try it when in NOLA!!
Grant
Stop looking, you found it.
This is where you want to eat. Everything and everyone I encountered here was excellent. The cocktails and wine selection, Caesar salad, pork chop and the bread pudding for dessert.
Literally one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Thank you to the entire team for a great New Orleans experience.
Libby Lee
The food was delicious here! Glad I found this new restaurant and happy that it was close to my hotel.
Emma Deppa
we had an amazing morning! beautiful view from the balcony. the staff were all very helpful and accommodating. we also loved our waiter - he was so funny and engaging and provided excellent service. food and drinks were all delicious (one of the best bloody mary's i've ever had and the cream for the coffee was so rich).
would definitely recommend & we will definitely be back in the future!

This is the place we were most excited to visit because Gris Gris is so good! Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed. Our oyster app was good but cold. My Eggs In Purgatory were terrible. I had two bites and couldn’t eat it. My husband and a friend tried it and thought it was fishy tasting and gross. My husbands pork belly was nothing but fat that you couldn’t chew and the white beans were salty mush. Our friend got the catfish, it was a over battered, over fried crunch, salty mess. Couldn’t taste the fish. I’m giving it three stars because our waitress was so good and I really think Saint John has potential. We sat at the Chef’s Table and the guys were very busy, so no interaction at all and the restaurant as a whole is very loud. So disappointed.
Julianne Ward
Absolutely fantastic. Go for happy hour 5-6pm and the Old Fashioned. Loved the two bartenders. Ordered dinner at bar. Can’t say enough about the food. Caesar salad, Turkey necks and pork loin chop to die for. Ask for bread to sop up all the Turkey gravy sauce. Fabulous experience. You won’t be disappointed.
Joseph Bodenmiller
An inspired menu and amazing environment. The short rib Daube itself was delicious, however the mashed potatoes it was served on were flavorless and surprisingly flat. Forgivable because the Daube was amazing. The house salad was perfection and appetizers of more than generous portions. It's on my list for another lovely dinner very soon.
Casey
Had a late brunch at Saint John during its first weekend and was not disappointed. Interior is beautiful and the balcony is hard to beat. Service was attentive and friendly. Cocktail program is large and on point. And the dishes were well-conceived, complex and tasty. Oyster Salad and Hot Shrimp Remoulade are must-haves. Oh, and the Bread Pudding was perhaps the best I've ever had.
Sarah West
Excellent food, excellent service. I wasn’t aware the oysters 3 ways all came in cream. That was a bit of a struggle but to each their own. Crab appetizer was incredible, as was the shrimp. Will definitely be going back.
Hector Gonzales Jr
First and foremost, if the chef is reading this. My sincere apologies for being late. I completely understand how guests showing up late impacts the ability to turn tables and I apologize from the bottom of my heart.
We made reservations well in advance because we read about the chef and this restaurant was listed as a must visit when doing research, so we had to check them out. so glad we actually made it over to dine with them because it was a really nice experience.
Some may not like the neighborhood, but I LOVE it. We sat on the balcony and were able to enjoy all the sites and sounds of a Sundee evening in this area of NO. It was absolutely fantastic to hear music playing, cars honking because the road was so narrow. No joking. I LOVED it!
Rhett, our waiter, was a kick in the pants. Very kind, extremely knowledgeable of the menu and all the flavors. He did an excellent job of making us feel like we were IN the menu! Such a kind man.
App:
We both got the House salad and it was hecka good! The dressing was wonderful, the candied pecans were so good, I could eat an entire bowl of em. Just a refreshing and tasty start to the meal.
Baked Deviled Crabs
This is a crab stuffing, served up in a crab shell. The crab and stuffing were very well seasoned, showing off the wonderful flavors of NO. Nice crunchy top, luciously warm and delicious stuffing on the inside. I really enjoyed it.
Entrees:
I ordered the Creole Beef Daube
Super tender, flavorful short ribs, served up over mashed potatoes. The serving size was huge, and I devoured every single, mouth watering bite. Tender, fall apart short ribs are definitely my jam and this is at the top of the short rib list for me.
My friend ordered the Bacon Fat Seared Duck Popper
Dude. Dude! It was cooked to a wonderfully perfect medium-rare, with a massive hunk of pork belly. The pork belly was scored in such a way that the exterior has this lovely, crunchy, fatty exterior that shines in the evening moonlight. The fat glistened like a harvest moon! The duck was seasoned very well, but not overpoweringly so. It retains the integrity of the duckyness. Excellent dish and cooked perfectly.
Again, we passed on dessert because we were so full! I wish we had space to try the bread pudding, but alas, we decided to walk back to our hotel, rather than waddle or be rolled.
Thanks y'all, for the lovely meal and wonderful dining experience. Much love from my heart to your souls.
Dinah W
The food was really good and fresh! The service was extremely good and the whole staff has a great attitude. I’ll definitely go back.
Julia Maia
Chef Daren, Danica and all, what an awesome brunch. Sitting at the chefs bar, watching each dish be prepped and plated, what an experience! Started with the crawfish remoulade appetizer, so perfect! The fried shrimp boat and French toast and actually every dish we had was incredible. Cocktails and bloody Mary’s were so great too!! We’ll be back, possibly tomorrow 🤩
Scott Shope
Pretty good food. We liked the duck, shrimp and pork chop. Service was good too
Eber Oliveira
Well, first of all, if you want to have an experience, Dine here!!!!!
The staff is extremely professional and confident!
The food is incredible and you will never leave disappointed!!!
The manager Lyn was amazing, and that does not describe it!!! She welcomed us into the restaurant as a guest in her home, and we will never forget this experience!
Try it!
James Flodine
Great food and service. Everything was terrific until I looked at my bill the next morning and realized I paid for a $54 bottle of wine we did not order or drink. OUCH.
Need to read every line on your check to avoid that
Not easy to do in a dark restaurant .
James Crump
Nice atmosphere. Good food.
Michelle Coleman
The food and whole experience was outstanding. I have pretty high standards Saint John’s exceeded them!
C P
The food at Saint John is OK but a bit overpriced. They give you one chicken thigh in the Clemenceau, and a really small amount of rice in the Etouffé. The whole vibe of the restaurant is weird: a lot of cold marble, leather booths and 90s music.
Kaylan McDuff
Best new addition to the French Quarter! Food and service were both really amazing. Not only did our server, Danika, take great care of us, everyone we interacted with was super friendly and welcoming. For an added bonus sit at or near the chef's counter.
Kim Ringer
New restaurant by the Chef Cook From gris gris. It’s new and down by the French Market and it is now our favorite new restaurant in the Quarter. Started off with Oysters three ways.. delicious and then
3 main dishes… shrimp etiouffe, short ribs and a fish dish. Added the best collards ever! Amazing bread pudding! The whole meal was 5 stars plus! Can’t wait to
Come back again. Thank you for starting our trip to NOLA right!!
Ingrid Blackwell
Had THE Best catfish just now. Crispy, tender and juicy. A must have.
Steve Erchien
This is my new favorite spot!! Everything was phenomenal. From the amazing staff, to the authentic creole food experience. My server, Jasmine was a wealth of awesome information. I will definitely be a regular at this joint. Try the duck popper...it will change your life.
Jessica Truitt
After a fun filled day in New Orleans and a Atlanta Falcon's win I told my husband I wanted to get some REALLY good food. We headed to Decatur street and stumbled across this jewel! From the time we entered the door the service was amazing and the ambiance was beautiful. We sat at the Chefs counter where you can see all of the dishes being prepared. This made us want to try everything. We started with the BEST Roasted Garlic Ceasar salad I have ever had. We followed that up with the Saint John Oyster appetizer. OMG is was amazing. We also had the Smothered Turkey Necks appetizers which were so flavorful. The Turkey Necks came with a scoop of potato salad that was sooooo good! We had the Seared Gulf Fish for our entree and it melted in your mouth. The next time I am in New Orleans I will definitely be back!
Stephanie Lewis
The food was the MOST amazing food I’ve had in New Orleans to date, service was phenomenal, music was great. The whole entire experience was amazing. I will definitely be back. It was perfect
Max Polaner (Personal)
I’m a big fan of Gris Gris, but Saint John was not in the same league. The food was ok, but not that memorable, and the decor and location was not nearly as special. It’s fine if you want to be in the French Quarter, but not worth a special trip for the food or atmosphere.
Catharine Parnell
What’s lovelier? The kindness of the staff, the careful execution of the food, the refined atmosphere? This is a beautiful restaurant managed and worked by wonderful people. I am so glad I visited. (Please have the Kréol 75 and the gorgeous remoulade — so good I got extras to go). Thank you, chef, for coming out to say hi. ♥️
Drew Dicus
We ordered all of the apps. They were all amazing. Staff was friendly. Highly recommend you visit!
Harlan Victor
Great atmosphere, bartenders, and the food….simply phenomenal!
Lynn Wesley-Coleman
Excellent place to eat! The haute creole cuisine that Chef Eric Cook has His menu influences from the melting pot of cultures that lent traditions, flavors, ingredients and cooking styles to the city- Italian, French, Spanish, African, German, Caribbean. This new restaurant is now open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch and feature an open kitchen table and bar, first floor dining and a gorgeous patio with views of the French Quarters.
Danielle Piazza
Fantastic food!
Sabrina Covington
I’m a newby to NOLA but I swear this was the best meal I’ve ever had! Oysters St John and the Oyster salad were insane. Bread pudding for dessert was the best “first bite” ever. Thank Jason for being a great bartended!
Naomi Carolan
This restaurant runs a tight ship, which is especially impressive for only being open one month. The food was truly some of the best I’ve had (best crab I’ve had in my life) and the service was equally phenomenal. Get a reservation while you can. This place will start booking up.
Dave Letourneau
Great brunch! The food was amazing! We will be back when we are in town again in October. In the top 3 spots for brunch in my opinion.
Danicka Roncali
Best Restaurant in the Quarter. I might be biased because I work here. It really is a laid back friendly atmosphere. We encourage every to be and come as you are. Here you will find a staff that likes to have fun.
A C
Eat here. Stop looking for other options. The chef is incredible and every plate we had was so delicious and flavorful without being over bearing. Perfectly balanced.
Fried oysters were insane.
Alejandro Herrera
We came for happy hour and got the Watermelon Paloma. 10/10 would recommend!
A O
The food is excellent, try turkey necks, fire corn, and oysters.
earl demoulette
Excellent food , service , drinks , . Waitress was great. Always love this place
Jason Robnett
Amazing, AFFORDABLE, authentic Creole cuisine in the FQ! Why pay twice as much around the corner when you can get one of New Orleans' finest Chef's menus for half the price? Eric Cook never disappoints!
Michael J. Schulz
Fresh cooked which is very seldom these days in the US! Delicious, even the coffee 😀!
65 GTO
Heard about this new place in the FQ and decided to give it a try....WOW! The place is a gem! Outstanding attention to detail, spotless kitchen/facilities, excellent wait staff and fair pricing all added up to a fantastic dining experience. Hats off to Chef de Cuisine Daren Porretto. Best NEW restaurant in NOLA.
Give it a try....you won’t be disappointed!

Service is great, the place was busy and had a nice vibe. The food was nice but the duck was very cold, even after we sent it back to be reheated.

What a fantastic meal. The service was impeccable. We had the pleasure of dining where we could observe the kitchen and it was a fantastic display of people who truly care and love their job. Such attention to detail. What a joy to watch. On top of that, the food was indeed unbelievably good. We will definately be back.
