Go here if: you want a great beer at the bar followed by great food off the beaten path and away from the tourists looking for Cajun food
Solo travelers rating: 10 - cool scene, nice bartenders, small affordable apps, friendly, sociable people
“Pizza in New Orleans?!” This was my first response when recommended to me and it certainly sounds odd, but that’s not even all. From the start, the appetizers blew me away; namely, the meatballs. A meatball app, you say? Yes, and get them so I can accept your thank you note. This, coupled with their wings, make the experience for me almost more than the pizza itself. The wings even come with homemade ranch that is second only to my wife’s. Get the thought of sports bar wings, safe appetizers, and a generic New Olreans food experience out of your head and take the plunge.
Of course, you’ll need to save room for their pizza. I can’t even narrow down a specific pie to try; just ask the awesome wait staff what they recommend and they’ll set you up with something delicious. As for the atmosphere and location, they are both stellar. I have always eaten at the bar, which is great for solo/duo travelers looking to be social, but the restaurant proper is a warm setting that passes the vibe check and is great for families. It is located on my favorite street and there are plenty of close spots to walk to and check out before or after dinner.

Pizza it was fantastic. Quality ingredients and flavor combinations. Crust was light and airy. Perfect. Enjoyed the Meatball Antipasto.
Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Staff were excellent.

I’ve been here two times and everything we’ve tried has been good, we’ve tried the baked ziti, cauliflower, garlic knots, margarita pizza and the mushroom pizza and everything was great. Both times we came our service was really good, the servers were super nice and really helpful with suggestions. They also have happy hour every day from 3-5 and have good prices. Definitely will be back again and I really recommend checking this place out!

Pizza Domenica menu offers a nice menu of antipasti, meatballs , dips, salad, wings, desserts last but not least their amazing personal pizzas with an great potpourri of toppings. Their amazing pizza is baked in their custom oven which cooks the crust nice and crunchy and the topping just right. I order the smoked chicken wings which were delicious. I also order salad which has sliced beef, arugula, olive oil, a zesty lemon. salad which was perfect
The margherita, pizza with fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato sauce was tasty. I also order the white pizza which had roasted garlic, oregano, basil. Yummy. The gorgonzola pizza with apples, honey, was very heavy have on the gorgonzola, hence it was a hard to taste the other ingredients. But still tasty.
Should you find yourself in the big easy and you want have done awesome pizza stop by, call or pick an order of their awesome menu at Pizza Domenica.

The oven seemed to be off during our visit. The garlic knots were raw on the inside but cooked outside. They still tasted delicious. The big problem was the pizza. They could not get the crust to be crispy. When I ordered it extra crispy it just came with a burnt top and undercooked crust. A slice wouldn’t even stay firm when I held it in my hand.

Wonderful service. Walk-in for parties 4 or less Reservations recommended for parties of 5 or more. Great pizza. Catch happy hour for half off pizzas and wine from 3-5pm Mon-Fri. They are back to in-house seating.

Probably the best pizza in town and a great happy hour if you’re able to make it in time (3-5 daily). The Calabrese pizza is excellent and popular for a reason. The smoked pork pizza is phenomenal and the meat alone would be some of the best BBQ in New Orleans. Unfortunately, they removed it from the menu and replaced it with a lamb option (typically love lamb but the combination of carrots, onions, and other ingredients was too sweet and as a pizza was not very good IMO). The roasted cauliflower is popular and worth a try. The cauliflower itself is pretty basic but serves as a means to enjoy the whipped feta (which you can just order by itself and use as a dip for crust or garlic knots if you’d prefer). The Friday oven crew makes some of the better pizza of the week (notable improvement over Thursdays, etc.).

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. We made reservations on OpenTable. The restaurant was following COVID precautions well. Tables spaced, staff wearing masks, etc... Parking is fairly easy and free in this area of magazine street.
The food was phenomenal! Garlic knots are a must! The Brussels sprout salad was great. For pizza we split a ham and ricotta. One pizza was more than enough for the two of us. Especially if you get anything else to eat with your pizza.

Garlic knots FTW! Do not skip the garlic knot appetizers. All of the pizzas are made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The wings are also fantastic with a smoky flavor and homemade ranch sauce on the side.
Pro Tip: If you are indecisive on toppings, they will allow half/half on any pizzas.

This is a nice pizza spot. Had a lunch date with a girlfriend and we both enjoyed the garlic knots and pepperoni pizza. The garlic knots were soft and fluffy and delish. The pizza was so good, the marinara sauce was probably house made because it didn't taste store bought. Service was okay. I ordered a smoked pork pizza to go, the family loved it but it wasn't my cup of tea as it was... I added some bbq sauce and that did the trick lol. I'd be down to visit again. Great experience!
