As a Brooklyn transplant to the gulf, the last 2 years of my life have lacked the most important thing a Brooklyn Italian kid needs... Good pizza. Paulie is known very well back home and I make sure to make the 3 hour drive over from orange beach regularly to feed my needs.

Returned to New Orleans and staying in nearby area. Previously stayed nearby this neighborhood. Was driving around and located this place. Nice local pizza place. Has another location. Affordable, great taste, large slices, variety of pies, variety of sodas. Variety of music may be playing at time of visit. Opened on Sundays and other days. Street parking free on Sunday. Pay to park on street and nearby lot opposite side of street. Arts District. Nearby museums and local stores. Worth stopping by. Sunday afternoons appear to be easy to eat at location. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Unquestionably the best slice of New York style pizza you're going to find outside of Brooklyn. The hot honey sauce is to die for, and this place is both clean and very reasonably priced.

So glad this place is in the neighborhood! The pizza is legit and it's a yummy and convenient lunch option in the Warehouse/Arts District. A perfect spot for a quick bite if you're touring the Julia Street galleries or staying/working in the area. I got two huge slices of cheese and two of pepperoni plus two bottles of water for $17.50, which is super reasonable. The pizza selection included two vegan options, which surprised me. They also have a huge variety of adult beverages, but also soft drinks in glass bottles. Highly recommend.

We found this place walking on our recent trip to NOLA. It is delicious and the staff is beyond amazing. The atmosphere is so nice and chill! Also the prices are super good especially when so much in NOLA is really expensive. Also my husband loved the free Mortal Kombat game

Yum! Yum! Counter service was great with courteous staff. Bonus points for the old school coke machine. The experience of inserting the coins and opening the door was something else. Stop by, grab a yummy slice and tip these hardworking guys and gals

Now that I'm understanding the concept I'm going to be nice and give it 3 stars! The customer service was ok... the guys were sweet but the women on the front end was rude and barely spoke... which is nuts because you have to speak so we can order our food. They are going with the NYC concept so I've always heard they were pretty cold so maybe that's perfect customer service up there but you're in the south so I would love for them to act like it. Then didn't see the glam about the pizza, it was a regular slice with weird pepperoni and a basic drink selection. Few can drinks and they don't even tell you to get them out the refrigerator yourself. So we assumed it and just got our drinks. The set up is nice and basic too. So if you want a basic experience with blasting music that's painful to talk over but a great selection I might add. Then this is the perfect place!

My brother and I went here to kill time and walked away stunned. There is some great pizza in the NOLA area. But Paulie Gee's is, by far, the best. You have to try the Freddie Pepperoni pie. Can not wait till they start delivering.

The Sicilian style pizza was good, but our New York style slices were a bit overcooked. I also don't like that they only had cans or bottles to drink. The staff was really lovely though.

Phenomenal pizza in New Orleans. I'd give some of the negative reviews a second thought as they've been open less than a week and there might be some kinks to be worked out. Went during an off time 1500 and everything was wonderful. Had The Hellboy both NY and Sicilian style, The Mootz, and the Freddy Prinze. All excellent

I moved here from Brooklyn and have been looking for a slice spot in NOLA. I'm glad to say I found it at Paulie Gee's. The place is clean, fun, casual, and all that you need for a good slice joint. They definitely got the dough right and I'm so excited to be returning more in the future.

NY style pizza is what your looking for they got it here. Customer service not so great. I wanted extra mozzarella cheese on my slice and they looked at me like I was crazy. I even said I would pay extra for the mozzarella cheese. They tried to give me an excuse and said they are closing up and that the food is being put away. Then they changed there mind and the guy bent down and pulled out the mozzarella cheese and added it to the slice. Was that so difficult to do. Also there was people still inside eating and people picking up pizza so why the excuse and frustration on your customer. I don't get it. Over all it's a good pizza joint by the slice. I would come back again for a NY style pizza here but man the customer service is not to my liking.

Fantastic pizza. The whole pie is the way to go. Just a slice is not enough. High quality , very fresh. Also try the Mike's chili honey if you are brave.its an interesting combo. It reminds me of pancake syrup and bacon a little bit.

This may be some of the best pizza in nola. Great thin crust, tasty sauce and quality toppings! My bf even ate the crust and he never eats the crust. Also, big shout out for the free slices after the devastation of Hurricane Ida. I will definitely be back!

The negative reviews based on opening/closing hours, being sold out, or a rude employee are so annoying and completely unrelated to how delicious their pizza is - boohoo to the babies that only review when they want to give one star. I’m from NYC, relocated to New Orleans and this deliciousness is legit compared to the places I’ve tried here which are either completely lacking in flavor or way too salty for some reason. “Lacking management” I saw in one post - you try to open and manage a food establishment during a global pandemic you pinecone. Give this place a shot and forget the haters, you won’t regret it.

Delicious. Hands down the best NY style slice in the city. The negative comments about service are silly, the place has been open for a week, it takes time to get things organized. The comment about price is absurd, go get a $1 slice and get what you pay for.

As a northern transplant, for years Pizza Delicious has been a fill-in for Jersey pizza. While Pizza Delicious is good- Paulie Gee’s captures everything PDelic. misses of a true NJ/NY pizza place. The sauce is perfect, the crust is just crispy and thin enough and the cheese is truly pizza cheese! The booths, the window displaying the pizza slices available— truly takes me back to a real pizza place— something New Orleans has never actually had! THANKS PAULIE GEE’S!!! The only thing missing is the old cranky Italian pizza owner with a sauce stained white apron!!

I remember my favorite pizza in NY when I visited in the '90's was Sal's on Mott & Broome. I tried to go back in 2012 and they were gone- sad face emoji. I ate at Paulie Gee's today, and for a moment, I fantasized about moving to the cbd just so I could walk here to get my new favorite pizza whenever I want. Oh and if you need an endorphin rush, that Hellboy slice is insane.

Brooklyn style, yes, but mediocre. And the place has the feel of lacking management - nice staff, but no sense of any passion for the success of the enterprise. As it happens, then - no surprise - the business is run by an absentee owner. I won't be back.
