What can you say? There is nothing on this earth better than a number 7 made by the one and only Mr. Lee who is still in the back kitchen holding it down. Yes it has changed visually but the food taste is still the same (just a little smaller portions) but if you are from Algiers and grew up on that number 7 chicken plate with the big shot on the side- then this is a must to go back and enjoy the memories one bite at a time. There are other options, meat pies, kabobs, shrimp, egg rolls, nothing beat the original made by the original Mr. Lee.

One of the best lunch deals on the west bank, and good oeople to boot.Wing, fried catfish, shrimp, and chicken skewers, with great shrimp fried rice. Good beer selection. CASH ONLY.

Their fish is the best I've ever eaten anywhere else, as far as corner stores go. They also have reasonable prices, not like most corner stores that fish is inferior. Every time I visit Algiers I get me at least 4 or 5 pieces. The owners also are very friendly and great in customer service, unlike most of the corner stores around the area. West bank that is! I can't say anything bad about them, their food, or their service. I'd give ten stars if I could. If the owners read this, I'm the lady who wears glasses and rides the bike. See in a few days.

This place is underrated! Their food is not only a very fair price but the food is top notch. This place is really a hidden gem. Ignore the exterior of the store and just try the food. I get the teriyaki chicken on a stick plate with a giant helping of shrimp fried rice, 2 egg rolls, and add two extra sticks of chicken teriyaki for under $15. This place is the best. Don't forget to order some extra teriyaki sauce and try their meat pies as well!

The owners of this establishment are super friendly and obviously care about the members of their community. The food is delicious with large portions at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend the shrimp fried rice!

Local and good! If you are from Algiers then you know of this store. The rice is always fresh and so are the kabobs. The kabobs are made of chicken, no pork! The menu generally consist of fried rice,, fried chicken wings or shrimp. Fried fish is available as well. Also whatever you order, ask for a cup of sauce. Not sure what is exactly in it, but its delicious!

Lived down there back in the 80's things have changed since then. They sell Hot Plate lunches and your not going to eat all the food you get. For the money it is definitely a good deal for a hot plate lunch. No seating just Grab and Go style

I have been knowing Mr. Lee and his family for years. Our kids went to school together. The food there is very good, and they pack your plate! I think I've had everything on the menu. My son lives out of town, but makes it his business to stop, say hello and order his favorites when he visits. Go and see for yourself, you won't be sorry!
