I’m from Chicago and my husband is from New Jersey, so you can say we know a good pizza. Nola Mia has THE BEST pizza in New Orleans!! Pizza Delicious was our favorite until we tried Nola Mia. Fresh, consistent, hot, and just pure delicious. I cannot say enough good things. You want the best food experience? Go to Nola Mia!

The Capish Panini is divine. The pizza slices are large and filling. Homemade gelato that is not too sweet, but very flavorful. And as a bonus they feature artwork from local artists that you can purchase.

So I love the Sicilian pizza here... Hands down the best in Nola. I would also in small voice say that their Gelato beats Broccatos although Broccatos does have amazing cannoli and little fig cookies that I adore. Their thin crust pizza is good but not my favorite in the city. But I'll go back a thousand times for that Sicilian.

The first time I ordered from this restaurant I ordered the Sicilian pizza which is really good fresh not so good when reheated as leftovers. The second time I ordered I ordered lasagna pizza but received a very thin pizza with sausage and pepperoni with no ricotta. I only ordered from this restaurant because of the 25% discount on GrubHub. However, I won't be ordering again since the order was messed up. I really had my heart set on lasagna pizza.

Just recently found out about this place. It's right around the corner from us. We usually go to Pizza D, but honestly Nola Mia tastes better to me (partner doesn't agree 100%, but what do they know 😅). The guy that works there is really nice and knows what he is doing. Please don't hesitate to check this place out. The pizza is on point and the Gelato is tasty af.

I really really wanted to love this place as a person who is lactose intolerant and one of my favorite foods is pizza. The option of having vegan cheese is awesome and I wish more places would do this. Sadly I ordered two pizzas (one vegan cheese and one not) and both tasted like bread with toppings on it. Honestly I wouldn't even consider this pizza, there was not cheese covering the whole pizza for either pizza and barely any sauce. The size of the pizza is really nice but personally I feel I'd rather a smaller more quality pizza for the same price. The owner and staff were very nice so they have that going for them. We were just really disappointed to see all of these good reviews for pizza and our pizzas being nothing like that.

we stayed at the old towne inn and it was just a short walk from us!! we stopped in and had a gelato and a milkshake. both were delicious and the gentleman that was there was so kind! ❤❤ if you're in the area then you should definitely stop in and check them out.

This place is great. I first went because it’s right next to my favorite bar, The Allways Lounge. I saw a show and got a slice of pizza and a scoop of gelato after. Honestly, I loved both. Now, whenever I want a pepperoni pizza for any occasion, I’ll order a whole pie from Nola Mia.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations!!! 11/10 would recommend, this crew is amazing!! We hired the food truck for my brothers rehearsal dinner and wow did we get our money’s worth! They arrived early and as guests were waiting on the wedding party to arrive, the Nola Mia crew made sure no one went hungry! Knowing the event was going to be starting at 7, around 6:30 they started setting up all the fixings and cooking the pizzas. Every pizza (as well as all the sides and appetizers) tasted delicious!! They even took our requests! My daughter is fascinated by cooking and they answered any and every question she asked, they even made her her own special pizza! Thank y’all for being so awesome on our special day! We will definitely be hiring y’all again!

I have been ordering pizza exclusively from Nola Mia since they opened. I am a New Yorker and I miss the pizza from home. These guys nail it , I've never had a bad pizza and it's one of those that when you open the box, you get excited because it looks so perfect. I can't appreciate their work enough and I take joy in their talent. This is the must have Pizza of New Orleans.

Simply put, if you’re looking for Deliciously fresh pizza, authentic gelato, calzones, coffee (and so much more), then look no further. As someone born and raised in NY, I really am glad to have found this spot. The owner, who is from Italy, and his staff, are wonderful. Be sure to ask for any special pies too.

Oh My Gosh! This place is so amazing! The pizza tastes FRESH! The gelato tastes AMAZING! My husband and I stumbled across this little restaurant and I had my first gelato. I am so glad I tried it at this restaurant. Before my husband and I go home to Indiana we wanted to come back for the second time. We will miss this little restaurant. I highly suggest everyone to come here.

If you honestly want the best pizza in the city go here.. I use to say Pizza Delicious was but they are very pricey with long waits. The owner here is incredibly talented and friendly.. the pizza is a great price especially for how good it is.. the gelatos are super tasty with several flavors. I have not had any sandwiches yet cause the pizza is so good but my friends have all had good things to say them so maybe I will try one today..

Gem of a pizza joint on St. Claude tucked away amidst several bars. Excellent NYC style pizza - the owner ran a pizza joint on NY for many years. Slices available, salads, whole pies, gelato, sandwiches, pasta, and more. No frills ambiance with a few tables and chairs (seating for maybe 15 total), & local artists' work adorns the walls. Counter service. The pizza is delicious. Crust is not soggy, toppings abound. They have such an expansive menu, but shockingly, everything I've had has been excellent. Meatball Parmigiana sandwich, Greek salad, yum. Get a Greek salad, a slice of veggie, and a gelato waffle cone. BOOM! You're set for the perfect solo Saturday night.

We got a pepperoni pizza here. It was good, I'd read a lot of reviews plus locals on Reddit said it was top 3 pizza spots in the city. It beats everything I've had in Florida, and this is the only pizza I've had in Louisiana. I think I am spoiled to northern pizza and Chicago pizza. I like all types of pizza, but it just wasn't as good as many places here in Minnesota. It worked for us, and we'd definitely return if we're in the city again. The man (I think the owner) working that evening was very pleasant, even though very busy, his coworker ringed up our order very quickly. Also we knew it was a gelato shop, but many people REALLY recommend their pizza. Pros: Good pizza Friendly staff Clean Cons: Due to beloved local reviews my expectations were set too high.

Such a cute place, and super friendly staff. We have gone several times because toddler+hot summer+ not many ice cream places around but, unfortunately we are always disappointed in the actual gelato! Pretty sure it is not homemade and definitely not very high quality. The deli sandwiches are kind of the same caliber- they do the job but they are nothing special. A sweet, convenient, comfortable place that we very much want to support but wish had higher quality ingredients.

So we were looking for an ice cream place to treat our son while on vacation. But we wanted to eat as well! I googled and found a blog with the 15 best ice cream/gelato places in New Orleans. This was right around the corner from us so we went! We were not disappointed! The staff was friendly and my kid loved it! Their gelato flavors are sooo good! And we went back for dinner and feed 3 teenage boys, 2 men and me and my friend with 2 pizzas!!!!! And you can't forget the garlic knots!

I love this place. Real New York pizza! Fold a slice and walk down street. The Cuban panini is delicious; there are many more good looking choices. I often stop in for espresso and some gelato for dessert; it makes my day. The owner is a friendly and helpful. I always enjoy visiting with him.

NOLA Mia Gelato has consistently been my go to spot for pizza, gelato, and warm service. Raphael knows his stuff and always makes sure we are happy with what we are getting. The public art on the outside and his willingness to be part of the local community makes me feel good about spending my money here! Me, and my wife own a business down the street, but never tried Nola Mia Gelato Cafe until today. Like many we assumed it was just a Gelato place that had some food as a side item, but boy were we wrong. My wife is from Queens, and we both still spend up to a month any given year in NYC. The owner of Nola Mia is from the same area of NYC as my wife, and the pizza he makes is 100% legit NYC pizza. The place should be called Nola Mia Pizzaeria because he has the best NY Pizza in New Orleans.

OMG. This place is AWESOME. It's like a little piece of Valhalla in the 9th ward. First of all, as soon ad you walk in you are greeted by a surprisingly beautiful interior (i grew up in the lower 9th ward and i wasn't used to seeing such lovely establishments there). It's brightly lit with warm colors all around. Next, as you look around taking it all in, you remember why you came there when you see the case of Gelato and Italian Ice decorated so lovely and looking so tantalizing. Luckily you don't have to suffer as Tantalus did because you can SAMPLE THE PRODUCT before you decide. Now, you can get your gelato as scoops or in a Milkshake!!!!! I know right. Plus....... They also have Pizza, Stromboli, Sausage stuffed pastries and Panini as well( that pizza was worth getting fussed at by my wife). All in all it was a wonderful experience and i most definitely will be returning here very soon.

Excellent, authentic, delicious! This place is the real deal, folks. Owner is from Naples and imports all the good stuff straight from Italy. And the bagels are legit NY bagels. Sampled a couple of sandwiches, the sfogliatelle, cannoli, and gelato and it was all outstanding! Go now, you won't regret it!

This pizza reminded me of my time living in the West Village. I am slowly working my way through the menu and so far everything has been a hit. The eggplant parm is fantastic, the 2 Slices of Pepperoni or Cheese for $5 can't be beat, and the Capish panini is awesome. Did I mention that they will turn any gelato into a milkshake?

Bright, clean and comfortable atmosphere. Emphasis on the clean which is a rare find these days. Everyone I've encountered there has been courteous and polite. Very patient too when I'm havjng difficulty deciding what flavor gelato I want. The sorbet and gelato are made in house and the taste definitely represents that. I'd be there daily but my belly and wallet can't afford a daily indulgence. An added bonus, accessible Wi-Fi with purchase!

Got the white pizza with spinach and tomatoes. Good lord. Huge, didn't finish it the same night, but you just can't go wrong with chewy crusts and ricotta chunks of goodness. Second night, for Gelato and pizzas. Zero disappointment!!
