Reviews of Mukbang Vietnamese Street Food
Art Without Fear
I had a coworker tell me about this place and along a day trip being a tourist in my own city near Oak St. was eager to give it a try. Our host, server/bartender Sophie, or Sophia, was very welcoming, good spirited, punctual, and professional. We were the only guests at the time, so everything came out quickly but still very fresh and deliciously made. Sophie/a told us she wasn’t a bartender but could’ve fooled me because she did an amazing job executing the drinks recipe! I enjoyed the space, it is open, airy, filled with beautiful plants, the music had a nice mix to it, I was hoping to hear a lil more variety but I did hear some good tunes. There’s only one TV so expect to come prepared with good conversations if you are dining with others. The menu has something for every diet & preference in both food and drinks.
There is some outdoor seating!
Paid street parking / free / neighborhood parking.
Everything’s clean, more importantly handicap accessible, welcoming & tasty.
Enjoy

The best crawfish I've ever had anywhere! We have been to many restaurants in Louisiana and Houston and it tops every single one. The best sauce! So good that we had to take some home. If you like spice I highly suggest the fiery cajun. You can tell this sauce was made with love and fine ingredients. It's absolutely finger licking good! Everything we tried was amazing. I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant. The service was top notch. Orlandez made us feel like family walking into the restaurant and took great care of us. The chef/owner took the time to come out to talk us for a bit and show his appreciation.
Appetizer
- Bulgogi Fries - a total must have! I've had many Bulgogi Fries in Houston and Los Angeles and these are my favorite.
Main Course
- Crawfish with fiery Cajun sauce. The crawfish were large, cooked at perfect temperature, and the sauce was the perfect amount of spicy.
- Seafood Platter consisting of snow crab, crawfish, mussels, shrimp, hard boiled egg, potato, corn with fiery cajun sauce. We're so happy we got this platter and got to try a little bit of everything. The mussels and shrimp were my favorite.
Dessert
- Chocolate Cake - we weren't no thinking on ordering dessert but Orlandez suggested it and boy oh boy we're we happy he did. As soon as we had one bite, it was a race to the finish line! The cake just melted in our mouths. It was so moist and perfect amount of sweetness.

Came here the other night with my parents. They didn't have crawfish unfortunately so I got the blue crab instead! Was very tasty with very nice flavour. My parents got the blackened catfish and pho both were delicious and good portions. Would recommend!

Wonderful family owned place with amazing food. A tad expensive but the quality is worth it if you’re looking for that type of meal. Decent beer and liquor selection but nothing special and nothing under $6.
However, the crawfish were large and in charge. Highly recommend for a different flavor than the traditional nola boil. The bulgogi and crawfish egg rolls were also fantastic. Ask for bread with the crawfish to soak up the sauce.

Had the bulgogi Fries, garlic noodle&garlic shrimp, and the blackened Fish with fried rice - fries were crispy, bulgogi, blacked fish, garlic noodle and shrimp were well seasoned. Everything was delicious. Pasta was not heavy on sauce either.

A friend recommended Mukbang on our way to and from Destin Florida. Our only regret is that we didn't stop here on our way there! On our way back we made sure to hit this place. Everything was delicious. Softshell poboy, 2lbs of jumbo crawfish in special Mukbang sause, fried shrimp, and crawfish eggrolls? Everything was so delicous! Hits the spot! I dipped the fried shrimp and fries in the Mukbang crawfish sauce. So delicious! We will be back. Definitely recommend!

We tried a few things on the menu and everything was delicious. Can’t wait to try crawfish here. The seafood was fresh and the sauce was tasty.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate. Very friendly and hospitable. Will return.

I had been wanting to try Mukbang after seeing it in the area. I stopped in on a Friday night. There was a live band (pretty common in the area) but oooh they were good! The horn player, chef’s kiss! The customer service was equally pleasing. I was greeted several of the staff. One lady, who I believe may have been an owner, helped me decide what to try. She gushed about finding a local woman owned vendor for the perfect chewy and flaky bread for her po boy sandwiches. She was so happy as if she was recalling the first time she tasted the woman’s bread m. You can tell she wanted patrons to taste how good it is too! So I went with the oyster poboy subbed the fries for the Persian cucumbers. I also ordered the garlic noodles for my appetizer. Yummy! I cleaned the plate. While waiting several staff came by with genuine smiles to check on me. I’m loving it *does body roll* 😊 The poboy was good! The bread was as described, right amount of flaky and chewy! It was huge, I only ate half and took the rest home. The cucumbers were fresh and crispy and the vinaigrette dressing, I tried to sop up every crumb with that dressing! I asked for some to go to dip my poboy in! 😏

Lives up to every piece of hype. Best Rangoon, insane garlic noodles, mukbang sauce in anything and everything. Even the lavender drink was best in class. Eat here immediately. This is not a test

Mukbang has the best happy hour in New Orleans. Their mussels are a steal and they have amazing drinks for $6 during happy hour (my favorite is the Sparkling Lavender one). Everything I've had has been delicious and affordable. The ambiance is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We love Orlandez!

So many delicious flavors! We tried several small plates--crab Rangoon, Bulgogi fries, garlic noodles, crawfish spring rollsand loved every bite. I like flavorful, but not super hot sauces. There were several great ones, as well as the spicier ones. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable, too. Can't wait to eat here again.

We just went to eat here after stumbling across it on Eater Nola's top happy hour articles and were very pleasantly surprised. The sparkling lavender martini is now my new favorite drink. The Mukbang sauce = chef's kiss (get the really spicy one, it's not too hot, it's just right). Our server, Orlandez, was so helpful, fun, very positive, kind and attentive. The crawfish egg rolls were very delicious also. The Poboy bread they use is also amazing. 1000% 12/10 would recommend. We will definitely be back.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere! The bulgogi fries are a must! Also loved the crawfish egg rolls and the garlic noodles. The blackened fish was delicious. The owner even came out and visited with us. We will definitely eat here again.

Mukbang is a hidden gem. We were so fortunate to eat here before this place blows up with popularity. The quality of food and service is beyond 5 stars.
I wish i lived in NOLA just to come eat here every week. Starting with the Bulgogi fries and moving on to the crawfish our experience was worth every penny.
After eating here crawfish everywhere else will taste just okay. 🤤

I've lived in NOLA for 20+ years and would say this is really good food. The small plates (we tried all of them) are fantastic, especially the Bulgogi Fries. I really liked their version of crawfish and would highly recommend them, especially with the super tasty Mukbang sauce. We just kept moaning "mmm" with every bite we had. Do your mouth a favor and head over to Mukbang Seafood ASAP.

It’s a must try!!!!! Best seafood restaurant!

Delicious and a good value! We had four pounds of crawfish with mukbang sauce and cajun sauce, both excellently flavorful. (The waiter told us that the garlic butter sauce was "bland" so we didn't order that.) I could eat five plates of the garlic noodles. And dessert was a fine slice of chocolate cake. For four adults and a kid, the bill came out to around $105 before tip.
Service: Waiter was super friendly. The kid at our table ordered a catfish poboy; he couldn't eat it because it came with tabasco on top, but the kitchen replaced it immediately when his mom brought up the issue.
Another nice touch: They had live music when we went on Saturday and the singer was fantastic.

Awesome atmosphere. Very chill. I want to steal their chairs. We had crawfish. Muckbang and flamin Cajun. Delicious flavors and huge crawfish. You might be able to get crawfish cheaper someplace else but it's well worth the price because their all fully intact, delicious, and huge. Also the owner greatest us and cheated for a bit. Super nice couple
Thanks yall

The food is pretty good at this place and their pork bah mi won best Poboy at the poboy fest. Lots of choices, with many seafood options. Their mukbang sauce is delicious as well, highly recommend it. The service is ok, but not stellar. The atmosphere is significantly increased since they opened. First, it was more of an open room, and now it has cute elements and plants that make it cozier.
