Pretty great place. Pizza is enormous and awesome. They have Diet Pepper in fountain drink. Muffulettas are awesome. Salads are decent. I eat here for work almost monthly. The large pizza is huge. Easily enough for 3 people, and maybe 4 or 5.

For a hole in the wall pizza joint this has really good food. We got the Supreme pizza slices with excess fresh cheese and the veal parm. The wife can't stop talking about how good the veal parm was. Now she craves it! Could do with a better beer selection, very basic.

We had lunch. The restaurant was not crowded we were able to walk right in and order. We had a pizza that was half cheese and half Italian sausage. The pizza was huge and it was really good. We also had the cheese sticks as well the lasagna. All was served hot and fast. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The prices have really increased beyond inflation! The food quality has lowered! It's really sad because it's a tradition for us to go the day after Thanksgiving. We're a large party and spent $350 on subpar food. Disappointing!

Pros: The Muffuletta was amazing. Better than anything in the French Quarter—for real. The meat to bread and dry to wet ratio was perfect. THIS is what a muffuletta is supposed to taste like! The full portion of lasagna was good and very filling. Pizza slices are twice the size of my kindergartener’s head! Cons: the prices on their website are way off. It makes it look super cheap but then when we got here the prices were just ok. Expect about $10-11 per adult regardless of what they get. Not the worst prices by any means, but we were Disappointed and almost left because we were expecting different prices. Food is served on paper plates which I don’t mind but is worth noting.

The pizza was ok but there wasn't much pepperoni on it. The muffaletta was ok. It took almost 10 minutes to get my french fries after we got the pizza and muffaletta. The ladies bathroom is not the cleanest. It really wasn't worth the price.

I love Mo's Pizza and I've been coming here for years. If you from Westwego you know about Mo's. The pizza is just amazing everytime idk what they put in it but it's really good. I normally get two slices which basically 4 slices because the pizza is huge! I always get pepperoni. The preferred payment is cash here expect to pay extra for card transactions. Mo's is a family owned business.

This is the best pizza in the New Orleans area. No frills locale with a good family vibe. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star rating instead of a 5 is that we caught the staff on a low energy day. Not bad service, just not the cheerful enthusiasm that usually characterizes the servers.

Ordered mini muffaletta's for a funeral and the bread was dry and not much olives on it. Always liked there muffaletta's but very disappointed this time. Will not order muffaletta's from them again. Also the pizza is more dough than having the ingredients all the way to the end now. Don't know what is going on but the food use to be good. The muffaletta's were a little pricey for the way they were made. Think twice about ordering from Mo's

The legend of Mo’s lives on. I found myself in the neighborhood recently and was happy to stop in and get a huge slice of supreme. It lived up to its reputation as usual. Mo’s has the awesome smell of a pizza joint when you walk in and the over the counter service is always good. They are known for their monster size pizzas and slices but have a lot more to the menu! Best experience is with a group but I was alone and was able to grab what I call a mega slice and left very happy. Red sauce is a bit on the sweet side, def unique to them. Tucked away on the Westbank of Nola, worth the mini track from downtown.

Oh my gahd this place is delicious. We came after the Terrain Race and were starving. We got it to go but couldn't wait and wolfed it down in the car. Hubs got a supreme slice and it was massive, bigger than a Costco slice. The crust is amazingly chewy with ample toppings. We took home about half the slice and one of the dogs ate it and I'm still upset over losing the pizza. He also got the veal parm on angel hair, the pasta sauce was so delicious, and the veal was very tender and juicy. I definitely want to come back to try other things!

Update since our last visit - we understand that the cost of living has increased, but the prices are almost ridiculous considering the quality these days! I paid $10.50 for a Cesar salad that was small, tasteless and not even worth $5! The side of dressing didn't even cover the salad! The pizza sauce is so sweet and hard to eat. We were a party of 13 and spent over $350 for pizza, salad and sandwiches! Insane!!!!

Was camping at nearby Bayou Segnette and decided to get pizza for dinner one night because it's only a mile away. Got a giant pepperoni pizza. There was a bit of wait but it was a Saturday. Like other reviews mention, the sauce is sweet. Crust is average. Was better the next day, cold. Close and convenient but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Good, but definitely not very good or great, for service or pizza. The order taker, a short, heavy set woman, was gruff/brusque, & definitely not friendly. We ordered the large supreme. The crust was soggy/limp, and the taste was only okay. The lemonade was way too sweet, almost like sugar syrup with a lemon taste. This is a local restaurant, and I always try to dine at the local, locally owned, restaurants whenever possible. You order at the counter and they call your number to come pick up your pizza at this casual pizza place.

Nice and spacious and clean. But I did find the slices of pizza that my friend and I had were sitting under the warm lights too long. The muffuletta was fantastic And the beer was nice and cold. The staff and people who waited on us just could not do anymore. I really do like their food and I will be back

Their pizzas are made to order and once you're done, I know you'll be back again! It's one of those secret local places that have been there for years! Have to try it at least once!

I love eating local, this place has THE BEST muffalata! I love that the bread doesn't hurt my mouth. I like the seating too, like eating as one big family. The slices of pizza are huge! I ordered a large pizza , took 30 min cost 25 bucks and we can make a few meals out of this! Worth the drive from Gretna. They even warmed it up when I was running behind. Great Team!

The food was great and man are those pizzas big! One of the staff frustrated me a bit though. They wouldn't let our bigger group of 10 sit together because of pandemic restrictions even though we were already all together before. Didn't make sense to me but they're just doing their jobs I suppose.

This has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. My extended family comes here for birthdays. I recommend asking them to make it crispy; it tastes so good. They are HUGE pizzas, so don't be scared away by the price. It's not the fanciest place in the world, but it has charm, and really darn good pizza, which, after all, is usually the point of going out for pizza.

I've been going to this place for more than 20 years! Food is amazing and very reasonable prices. Great atmosphere for family dinner or lunch. They have calzones, turnovers, pizza by the slice even!They have lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs. Absolutely amazing food!!!The service is always fast and friendly. Wonderful restaurant. They have dine-in options along with carryout. They had salads, lasagna & pizza by the slice or the whole pizza. Great for lunches or dinner with the whole family. Prices were reasonable for the area and service was fast. Our food was served within 5 minutes of ordering.

We go here all the time. They have delicious pizza amongst other food. However, their spaghetti is way too sweet. I love how they use thin noodles for their spaghetti but it's just way too sweet!!!! To the owner, Jeff, please change your spaghetti sauce to be not sweet. I know you would sell a lot more of it if it wasn't sweet. I know several people complained about this. If you want a place to take your hungry kids to fill up cheap this would be it. If you are looking for great pizza, go somewhere else. I could not tell you where to go though as I have not found a very good pizza place in the entire area although I have not given up hope yet. The counter girls are cute and sweet though, and the hospitality overall is really good, very southern. If it had not been for the service I would have given this place 2 stars.

Pizza was so good. Each slice is like 6 inches wide. I got a small witch is 14 inch pizza and between 2 people only ate have of it. You really do get what you pay for here. Best pizza ive had by far. Im from st louis mo and i thought imos was the best but i was so wrong.

Great pizza and poboys. Pretty much everything is great there. Order the roast beef poboy on muffalata bread. Unbelievable! One of the best I've ever had. They only serve it on Fridays, though as a special. Worth the wait.

BEST PIZZA EVER!!! One of my favorite places to get a calzone. You can't beat the amount of food for the price. The secret ingredient that is like crack to me is the sauce. Mo's has the best sauce on the planet and I would put it up against any other sauce in a taste test. Stop in if you are in town because they are not a chain and it is only one location. You won't regret it.

Mo's has very large servings as well as tasty. Their pizza sauce is a little sweeter than most. Which I enjoyed. The Veal Parm entrée was better than most pizzeria I have tried in the area. Definitely worth a try/trip if you're feeling pizza and like/wouldn't mind a sweeter pizza/marinara sauce.

I gave this review 3 stars only because the customer service was TERRIBLE, I waited for 2 slice of pizzas and half lasagna for 45 mins, then I experience the owner yelling at another customer because she ask what's taking so long for her pizza. First of all, you're an owner you don't talk to customers like that PERIOD. Second, you don't use foul language and make excuses for why the place is busy. Last, the owner is lucky the lady didnt say anything mean back she just wanted her food... I have never seen such a mean owner treat customers like that

Its ok. Kind of cafeteria style. Walk in, order, sit down, wait to be called to pick up your food. Communal tables and some individual tables. Seems like a place that opened in the 70s or 80s and never changed. It's clean. Old checkered tablecloths. The staff was very nice. THE FOOD: I was told their meatball po-boy was awesome, so I ordered one. Comes with sauce and cheese, so I ordered a side of olive salad. It's large. The meatballs have decent flavor. The bread is good. The sauce.. a little sweet and the cheese is kind of tasteless. Overall... it's just ok. Maybe great for Louisiana, but... just ok, really. I also ordered a slice of sausage and black olive pizza. Its a large slice, you get your money's worth. The sausage is actually pretty good, as are olives and crust. Again, same cheese.. tasteless, same sauce. Needs work. Needs oregano, less sugar more clove. It's just ok.

I've had muffulettas from New Orleans, and I've had store prepared muffulettas; muffulettas from everywhere. I can honestly say that none of them compare to Mo's. They are huge, the bread is amazing, and it has just the right amount of stuff inside. They taste good hot, and left overs taste even better out of the fridge...that is if you have any.

Great place! I was In town for a Nola Motorsports park event and went here for dinner. Muffaleta pizza was fantastic. I also had a slice of pepperoni that was good also though I prefer a plain or spicy sauce vs the sweet sauce on this slice. By the way slice means quarter of a very large pizza. Best Pizza,Best Prices in metro New Orleans area. Can accommodate an entire baseball team. While still being able to celebrate Grannys birthday. The cherry on top,Pepsi is out the door. You can wash down that delicious pizza while having your favorite beverage, an ice cold Coca-Cola.

If you are looking for the best muffelatta, this is the place, especially on Friday's when they offer the roast beef muffelatta. We don't go for the pizza, we are not a fan of the sauce (to sweet) , imo. My kids don't even like it. Other wise, service is always good, even being busy this place isn't one u get aggravated waiting at, their system seems to get the job done.

Food is great as always but everything in the restaurant is broken. Really needs a good overhaul! Half of the screens are out for the menu, the games were broken, and the ATM is broken. The kids use to enjoy going there and they look forward to the claw machine but it wasn't working last trip.

Great place ! Large pizza is big as a stop sign. You can go with the whole family and have a great time and food for a cheap price! Or you can go with the guys on Saturday for LSU game or Thursday or Monday Night for Saints game, and enjoy a great pizza and draft beer that they sell by the gallon.

Incredible pizza, calzones (they call them turnovers), and muffaletta. The pizzas are huge, so get one size smaller unless you want leftovers (who doesn't?) Toppings are fantastic, although I found it odd that they don't have mushrooms listed on the menu: maybe they have them in store? Turnovers are made with meatballs, and it's a great choice. Probably the best pizza I've had since moving to the New Orleans area.

This was the first time that I was disappointed with Mo's. I know that we are dealing with covid 19 but this experience was ridiculous. We had a party of 12 and was basically treated like children. The young people that worked there was yelling at us being very condescending. They even blamed us for putting a chair at a table that was there when we got there. Again the young lady behind the counter is still yelling and then her young coworker says with attitude oh I'm sorry but was midnight when I set that table up excuse me. We did everything we were supposed to do and got treated terribly. Mo's is a unique pizza place famous in the New Orleans and west bank foodie subculture. The building is tucked away out of site from the main road so it is not a plce you stumble on. It is a sit down family style or take out. What makes Mo's so great is the size of their largest size pizza. You can't help but to smile when you see your first one. They have a unique muffaletta pizza that taste just like the sandwich but a pizza! They serve a flat new York Italian style pizza. No deep dishes. But you go their for the size and the atmosphere. We usually don't have complanints about anything at Mo's ,but today my husband's pizza slice was tuff to eat. The crust was like hard ,he said it was like cardboard. I had a sausage with peppers and onions roll they served on 1paper plate by the time I was half way through I could see the tablecloth through the plate! The Large 20" Supreme is one helluva good start. We live in St. Tammany and drive to Mo's when we just have to have that flavor. While we are there we also get a whole Lasagne. It's so good that itll darn near make your eyes roll back in their sockets. The sauce is absolutely what makes it, but all of their topping are delicious. The salads are great, the turnovers are excellent and I want to try their sausage and peppers and their Chincken Parm., but I can only get out there 2 or 3 times a year, and by the time I do I need my fix with the Lasagna. They aren't just say its their specialty as a sales pitch. It REALLY REALLY IS SPECIAL.
