Reviews of Midway Pizza
Danielle LevittMidway Pizza has a huge variety of pizza options available on thin crust or deep dish. The beer was cold and the pizza was hot and fresh, great for a rainy summer day in NOLA. We were impressed by the density of toppings on the pizza.
TWe ordered a couple deep dish pizzas. They were very good. Could have had a little more pizza sauce on them, but I'm not dropping a star for that. They were still very tasty. Excellent service too.
Julia MitchelThey get a 5 star from my family tonight! I ordered by phone for delivery on a busy football night. They were friendly and told us 45 minutes and we got it in 30. Pizza was hot and delicious and order was correct. Just a note, their thin crust is thin in the center but still has a nice thicker outside crust. They checked all the boxes, would definitely order again!
Chadwick DeleryI simply called in to place a takeout order. The staff answered the phone rather quickly, and were very warm and friendly on the phone. When I showed up to pick up my order they made sure to show me my order ro make sure i was getting the right pizza, and that I would be happy with it.
DWent here pretty late at night and all I have to say is that this will become a permanent spot for me.
We ordered meatballs, a "Reggie Dunlop" pizza that according to the website has:
Chopped garlic, olive oil, mozzarella, gorgonzola, Prosciutto, pickled red onion, chopped pecans topped with arugula and a balsamic reduction
and I had a beer they had on tap.
The meatballs with marinara sauce and green onions were great. I regret not having a photo to share of it but we tore into it right away. However, they weren't worth the price and they were not perfect, I have had better elsewhere..
The reggie dunlop pizza was great, but there were a few issues with it. It was very oily, much more than I would expect from a deep dish pizza with extra oil. Yeah, that oily. It was still delicious but it was nothing to write home about. I also cannot speak on the authenticity of the "deep dish" claim, but it is not as deep as a dish as I have experienced in Chicago.
They do not have many drinks available even though they advertise as they do. Seemingly out of every beverage. Overall, I would not recommend this place as a detour or somewhere to plan a day around,. It should be visited if you're in the area and want to go out and have a nice evening. Everything is more expensive than it should be, and you should just go to Blaze if you want the most efficient food. This place IS however better those restaurants so if you're feeling fancy and live in the area, I definitely recommend this place
Iris PalomaPricey for what you get. I’ve never paid $30 for a 10 inch pizza. Mozz could have been a little more melty. Delivery was quick though and service was very friendly. Tastes pretty good!

It's worth the additional cost for the appetizer not necessarily in the pizza. And their take out timing is really precise as well. I love online ordering.
Laura KAmazing pizza with unique flavor combinations! The kids had a plain cheese and it was amazing! Food came quick, good seating and kid friendly.
Markus ImpolaStopped by for a late night pizza and wings. Pizza was pretty good, but for “thin crust” had quite the doughy edges. Otherwise tasty ingredients. Wings were nice, not overly breaded, but ranch sauce tasted a bit off. Nice place overall and service was great.
