Cool, funky neighborhood bistro. If you’re going to order a pizza anywhere you should get it here. The crust and the toppings are perfect. I’m a huge fan of the thin crust pizza. I had the Caprese salad and it was loaded with extra slices of basil. That made me very happy. Our bartender showed us her creativity with some strange concoction that had basil, lemonade and vodka, but after my second one it wasn’t strange anymore. I’m gonna be hanging out here a lot.

Best NYC style pizza in NOLA! My go-to is the drizzle add chicken. Homemade cheese sticks are a must try! They offer slices til 6 PM!

Love the atmosphere!!! The staff were very nice and patient, we visited while on vacation , this was our first choice of food in NOLA. Everything we ordered was great, the wings were so so good, and I also recommend the garlic bread would definitely come back!

Mid City Pizza is the best pizza in Nola, I’ve been saying it for years. But, their pizza isn’t the only gem, their wings are the best in town as well. And, they don’t do many sandwiches but their chicken parm and meatball sandwiches are really well done. They know what they are doing and they are great at whatever they decide to do.

Not a big restaurant as far as seating goes. It's just down the street from Jesuit High School on Banks. The pizza is some of the best pizza I've ever eaten. We ordered the Shrimp Remoulade and it was amazing. The crust is thin and perfectly cooked so its a little crisp without being crunchy. Flavor wise it's absolutely delicious. I will be back for sure.

I really like this place. Even though I'm not a big fan of New York style crust, the pizza was delicious. I got a large veggie pizza, where you get to pick up to 7 vegetables. I have to add, they let me choose blue cheese as one of the vegetables. Also, I got a small Drizzle pizza which had a great sweet and spicy mix. A large is 18 inches, which is easily enough for 3 and it was only $20. The place had a good vibe and the people were nice. There were also some good drink special, as well. To say the least, this has become my new favorite pizza spot. This review was for the Mid City location.

If you're looking for Pizza in New Orleans proper, you're not going to do much better than Mid City on Banks St. Their NY style pizza has a wonderful flavor to it. Also, I love the murals of Sam Kieth's The Maxx on the back wall.

I’m from New York and this was the first place we ate while visiting. The pizza was delicious and the wings were possibly the best I’ve ever had. Waffle fries were a treat as well. They have good happy hour pricing on food and drinks. The prices are already low, which is great. Also the employees are very nice, even providing advice on local spots to check out. I would recommend this place.

In my opinion this is one of the best pizza places in the city. Cool environment, friendly staff, and most importantly, great food. Despite the expansive size of their large pizza they definitely don't skimp on quality ingredients. I've eaten here plenty of times and have never had anything close to a bad experience.

We really liked the fresh mozzarella with the tasty buffalo sausage on the Mid City Meat Monster. All the pizzas are not to heavy and have a delicious thin crust; you can also easily taste the fresh ingredients.

One of the best in New Orleans. Their pizzas never disappoint. They also offer pretty decent vegan cheese! I use to love their wings but these days it's often a miss - crispy outside but not well done inside. ☹

Great pizza, I think I've only gotten cheese and pepperoni (I'm just a basic pie guy) but it's been very good every time. Love the wings, they're fried perfectly, I usually just toss a little Crystal on 'em right before I eat them. A very close, jaded friend of mine from the NY/NJ area loves the pie too. Friendly staff, I highly recommend!

Good! Very good. Not my favorite pizza but very good. They're a fun staff and they're very accommodating. I like that you can pick many many toppings for the vegetarian pizza. Also the outdoor seating is really nice and comfy. The building is lovely. Nice date spot if you sit outside. Its a little loud if you stay inside. Reasonably priced. Overall a good place. I'll be back 😉

It is a hole in the wall but it is my Favorite pizza place in the City. It can be a little pricey but most places are struggling due to covid! Support local businesses during this time! I think they have the best cheese bread in the city!!!!! And I would recommend the meat lovers pizza! Also, a lot of people love their wings!!!

Omg! So delicious. Went in late and needed some quick food so I got the cheese bread. It was incredible. I was expecting some mediocre bread w cheese melted on top but they went above and beyond. The cheese bread was awesome. The bread was perfect and like pizza crust, with cheese melted in the middle plus cheese on top and herbs included. I added chili peppers too. Marinara sauce was great. Excellent.

Mid city pizza was kind of an adventure for me who sticks with my old preferences. It definitely changed my mind about pizza in New Orleans. I made my own vegetable pizza and it was delicious. The dough was thin, crispy, and tastey. I will update this review with pictures and more details after I go back there again. I need to go back.

Seriously amazing pizza! We ordered takeout and it still blew us away as tourists. The restaurant itself is unique, but it was a little loud for me. I highly recommend the Shrimp Renoulade pizza if you're into unique combinations. It was, without a doubt, the tastiest pizza I've ever had!

Very busy on the day I went, due to an event I was at in the area. It took a bit to get our order placed, but extremely reasonable time on getting the pizza out. Very friendly workers. Willing to do endless drink refills. Very yummy pizza. Others in my group liked the chicken parm sandwich and the mozzarella sticks. Highly recommend the supreme pizza!

Pizza here is really good, was only able to try one pizza but it was definitely satisfying. I like the way they do the crunchy crust, it seems like they do their pizza in. A certain style but I definitely see what they are trying to get at here. I would try this place out if you haven’t because it’s pretty good and you may end up liking their pizza.

I've only been to the store once or twice to pick up a pizza on my way home since I live in the area and usually get delivery. The Hawaiian pizza is on point. The ingredients are fresh and the pizza tasty. The store itself is pretty neat. The staff is courteous and professional.

There was a good line on a Friday. Pizza was delicious. Especially the Hawaiian Pizza. The interior is small so don't expect to seat a big group easily. Despite it being busy, they were managing the crowd of people at the bar and picking up pretty well. Parking was a slight hassal. Over all tastey experience though. Great thin crusted pizza!

I took a few days in New Orleans after a business convention and this place was within walking distance. The restaurant was comfortable and friendly. The pie I had was an all meat combination. It sounded good and was OK. I got a large and thought I would want the left overs for breakfast or lunch before I got on the plane. Unfortunately, the original experience wasn't so good I wanted it again.

First time there,I enjoyed my pizza the "shrimp remolude ". It was family pizza night and I don't eat what my son and husband like . For the most part I have a very strange and different pallet than them. My son the pepperoni prince did not like his pizza as much and when asked why he just stated he wasn't impressed. Well no worries I can't say that it wasn't good he's 12 and was trying it for the first time. So don't read too much into it. If I was eating meat right now I could help by trying it but I'm not so sorry. It looked delish to me. My husband enjoyed his "Hawaiian pizza as he ate all of it. But the most enjoyable item for me as well was those Waffle Fries,the best by far. Love those fries. Thanks for great service and atmosphere. The staff seem to enjoy making the customers happy and they were patient with the newbies. So thanks again. Keep up the good work staff. Great for business.

I enjoy the vegan pizza at this restaurant very much. However, I do wish that the pizza had some sort of vegan meat substitute on it. Blaze Pizza, for example, has vegan sausage and other vegan meat items. I think this would be a fairly simple addition to make, and it would please a lot of vegan customers.

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in New Orleans. Sometimes I feel Pizza Delicious in the Bywater is as tasty yet usually there is small gap. The atmosphere isn't as nice at MCP though so I take it home and reheat it for a short time to restore that "just out of oven" taste and feel.

Very solid pizza. Only reason why not 5 stars was the bottom of the pizza was slightly overcooked/black. Not to the point where the pizza wasn't good, just not worthy of 5 stars because of it. Some people like it like that though.

I love this place. The pizza is delicious, and I love the laid back atmosphere. Very family-friendly, complete with coloring books and cups of crayons, plus something good on Netflix playing on the tv. And the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Decorations inside unlike any other place in the city, and probably the only pizza place you can go to for that 90s pizza parlor standard -- The Simpsons Arcade Game.

While some claim Wit's Inn or Pizza Delicious as the best pizza in NOLA, I am not making a brave statement when I tell you that this is the best pizza in the city. There are many who agree that the fresh ingredients and crisp bread makes the pizza here phenomenal, but what sealed it for me was that they delivered to the neutral ground at 2 a.m. while we were camping out our spot for Endymion.

This is one of those places you hope does well but not so well that they become hip, packed and impossible to get a timely pizza. Delivery is always prompt. The menu is very basic in the best of ways. The prices are 'right on time' and the large pizza is a feast for the eyes because before you take one bite you know that you are going to be full and satisfied by the time you are done. The mozzarella sticks are fat and phat, no pre battered, pre frozen pinky sticks. I was told they cut the cheese fresh, I assume its daily and not per order, and thick. I would suggest requesting an extra marinara tub for all that goodness. The employees were all nice, down to earth and polite. I Mid City Pizza never becomes popular because they are too good to share.

Really good vegan pizza. The herbivore pizza comes with 7 toppings of your choice and you can ask for vegan cheese. They use daiya, but it's the block variety so none of the shredded stuff. It melts!

Very good thin crust pizzas, modest selection of microbrew, a decent wine list and zany staff combined to make for a highly entertaining dinner. If you can squeeze in, sit at the bar and plug into a real life sitcom of the best sort. (Ask for the "Yellow King" daiquiri.)

Great pizza place. The entrance requires you to walk up stairs, so for the slightly mobility impaired, be careful. Street parking only. AMAZING pizzas! Seriously!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST pies in New Orleans. Killer Happy Hour, large ass slices, and beers on deck. Be sure to try the Motion Potion or Beef Squirt cocktails. The Meat Monster pizza is topped with pepperonis, sausage, and ham and it's AMAZING. The chicken wings are also out of this world. Everytime I come in there are always kids playing the Simpsons and NBA Jam arcades. Mid City Pizza is the best!

Best slice in the city. no competition I eat here at least once a week with the homies. They always have something cool on the TV like Xena reruns or nature documentaries and the music is always great. They play full albums of System of a Down or Kanye. Clean bathrooms and big stacks of Antigravity await you here.

After Nino's closed on Carrollton uptown there hasn't been a New York style 'za for miles. For a brief second, uptown pizzeria opened next to Cibo. Never open a middle eastern pizza joint next to an Italian sandwich joint. Anyway Rand Owens' Mid City Pizza delivered a crispy pepperoni and mushroom thin crust by AUTOMOBILE in 30 minutes. Nothing will replace Nino's Brooklyn Pie but Mid City does it well. Owens passed early 2020, he will be missed and I hope his remaining staff keep the legacy going.
